In what world is it considered ok for the manager to come out and scold a customer after they complained that their drink hasn't been refilled after asking the server 3 times and waiting over 15mins. Customer service is dead. Get off my lawn! Edit: One of the owners later contacted us to correct the situation. Maybe customer service isn't dead after all.

This place should be embarrassed to have the word "burger" in their name and on the front of the building. FROZEN hamburger patties???!!! ...very tacky. I ordered mine medium rare, but it came out well done, flavorless and chewy. I've been to thousands of burger joints and this rates in the bottom 1%. I came by here one night intrigued by their name, but the kitchen was closed. I decided to come back a few days later and give them a try. I wish I would have gone to the gas station instead. Hate to rant, but if you're going to charge over $10 for a burger at least have the decency and common courtesy to use fresh meat. At least the beer was good and cold.

While visiting Washington State to visit our Daughter we decided to stop by for a bite. Good food, great service (Thanks Russ), clean restaurant, and lots of Seahawks fans enjoying the game. Wife had a Hawaiian burger, I had a custom burger, and the Grandson had the kids Mac & Cheese. Burgers were great but the mac & Cheese seemed to be just Kraft box but the 5 year old Grandson didn't seem to care. I would eat at the establishment again if not just to watch the game and enjoy the comradery of the Seahawk fans.

Don't think I've tried this place before so I decided to stop in for lunch before heading over to the outlet mall. This place was a little disappointing as the food and service were both lacking. The burgers were dry and overcooked and the waitress was never to be seen again after taking the order, not that she was all that friendly and customer service oriented to begin with but it would've been nice to get service. I had to grab someone's attention to get a refill and my bill settled. It seems the only thing this place has going for them is their proximity to the outlet mall, casino and big box retailers. It's unfortunate it did not meet expectations.

This is like the equivalent of the Red Robins in Vancouver in terms of quality and food. It is decent but nothing to write home about. There are so many other places to eat with better food. The customer service was decent. Price was okay.

Not great, I definitely have had better. The service seems to be so-so and that goes for the food as well. I recently discovered that they serve breakfast as well, which was a fail. The breakfast is Denny's equivalent and the lunch and dinners are worthy of Red Robin or Applebees. If you ask me, Bob's is one big pile of "meh"

Bob's (a Whatcom Co. Brew house) is a local eatery if you care about buying local! They offer a Southwest Chicken Salad that can be upgraded to steak. When I was pregnant this was a weekly indulgence for me and an iron boost! Black beans, corn, tomatoes, red onion. Nothing fancy that can't easily be made at home but still tasty. Hamburgers here are comparable to most other burger joints, but this place is often packed as there aren't many other options around the Tulalip area. Definitely a step-up from the Blazing Onion. Blazing Onion is basically a self-serve establishment with full service prices. Skip the Blazin' and head to Bob's!

A step above Denny's. If you like Denny's, you'll love this place. If you don't, you won't. What do cooks do to remove the taste of eggs from an omelet? Is it the chicken's fault? My wife had the chicken fried steak. Good portion and tasty though a bit gristle-y. Service was definitely a couple steps better than the famous diner in question but a whole lot more expensive.

The food always looks great but the taste is hit or miss and that goes for the service as well. With that being said, the service in the bar is better.

How I heard of this place: When I was growing up in Bellingham, our local Bob's was in the Fairhaven neighborhood. During our high school years, friends would come to Bob's for a huge burger, big enough to share, and large, flavorful jojo's. Meeting up with my friend Tahirih for one last meal in my single-hood, we decided to meet half-way between Seattle and Bellingham and found Bob's in the middle. Type of cuisine: Burgers and brew. While the menu offers everything from chicken and beef burgers to pastas and sides, Bob's is really best known for the large, flavorful burgers that keep patrons coming back for more. "Bob's Burgers & Brew is great burgers and so much more. When you join us at Bob's, you get a wonderful dining experience with fast friendly service, a warm welcoming atmosphere and food so good the flavor explodes in your mouth. We use only the finest ingredients, prepared fresh when you order. Choose from over 20 gourmet beef and chicken burgers or try our tender hand-selected cod. If it's sandwiches you want, we have those too. From French roll to grilled, our sandwiches are addicting!! We also offer a great selection of gourmet salads for even the heartiest appetites. Open daily for breakfast (at select locations), lunch and dinner. We have a great kid's menu and our spectacular Brunch every Sunday (at select locations). Whether you are looking for a unique dining experience for an intimate party of 2 in our fire-side room ( in our new franchise locations) or a gathering of 20+, you will always feel welcomed at Bob's. If you've never tried breakfast at Bob's, you don't know what you are missing! Top quality ingredients prepared just the way you like them. From Eggs Benedict to "Hungry Bob's" to French toast or pancakes. Bob's breakfasts are the best!! The lounge is a great place to hang out with friends or meet new people. Watch the game on our plasma TV's and enjoy the ambience!! So sit back and relax with an exquisite gourmet burger and one of our great signature cocktails or a frosty cold premium beer-on-tap. Only the best for our customers!! Bob's is the natural choice for great food, great service and a great dining experience! We look forward to serving you!!!" Ambiance: The large restaurant, only slightly viewable from the windows looking out over the parking lot, feels very dark and dimly lit inside. This is probably the greatest reason for boasting fake plants along the lights set towards the tall ceilings. Pale yellow walls are accented with light greens and blue shades against hanging lights that help to add brightness to dining tables. Framed pictures of Seattle, including the Space Needle, landscapes and even some of wildlife are found throughout the space, track lighting adding to the glare against glass, are easily viewed from over the booths completely taking up all seating options in the venue. Large windows with blinds pulled up to about 3/4 of the way. The green faux-leather, cushioned seats and plaid fabric, cushioned backs make for a comfortable dining experience as music from the 1980s plays on the speakers overhead. What I ordered: On this visit, I was craving a chicken burger and opted for the Bacon Ranch Chicken Burger ($11.99) where "No small appetites [are] allowed!" This char-broiled chicken breast is covered with melted cheddar cheese, thick slices of Hormel smokehouse bacon and topped off with Bob's own house ranch dressing, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise to finish off the burger. My dining companion selected the Honey Mustard Chicken Burger ($10.79) with grilled chicken breast, spiced to perfections and served with pepperjack cheese, mayonnaise, lettuce and tomato. Each of our dishes came with jojo's and a side of ranch (for dipping). What I loved: I always love the jojo's at Bob's! And nothing seems to have changed in their flavor and presentation since I last dined at one of these establishments probably more than a decade ago. The Bacon Ranch Burger, my first time ordering it, left nothing to be desired! While my dining companion was less than thrilled with her selection, she was an immediate fan of my choice, and shared a portion of my plate. Why I loved it: The food is good, the portions plentiful, the setting casual and the staff friendly. A great spot to catch up with old friends over a two-hour meal and feel completely satisfied. Cost: Average ($10-$12 per burger entree)

(written by susan - but dick agrees) - One word - Awful! We may have made a mistake in not ordering a burger as my son says they are great but I had a craving for a French dip - menu says shaved beef - got slabs of overcooked beef hanging out of the bun (not even cut to size - but it was tender, I will give it that) - tasteless and generally awful. Even the potato salad was not edible - it tasted as though it had been run through a ricer - yuck! Hubby's "senior fish" had been frozen so long that it was tough and tasteless - my fish-loving spouse left most of it on the plate. We complained nicely to the server who told us how great these dishes were (????) - the manager came over and did apologize and offer to take one off the bill (we had a coupon so we declined - wish we hadn't - they stuck to the terms of the coupon and just took off the cheapest item and charged for the dip sandwich)....we tipped our usual 20% on the full bill but will never go back....maybe they have great burgers, I won't find out. This was the worst meal I have had at a restaurant in many years. By the way, the manager said the beef wasn't shaved as they sliced it in the kitchen - well, gee, fellow, set your slicer to a thin slice! It isn't brain surgery to shave beef! Suggest you save your money for Kidd Valley or even Red Robin! Oh and ps - the prices are not cheap either.....

Breakfast! We were very pleased to find another alternative for breakfast. The service was very pleasant and timely. Our server was a very kind attentive person. The coffee was hot and strong. My waffle with strawberries and whipped cream was very good. The hash browns were perfect...no greasy after taste. My scrambled eggs were good. The bacon had good flavor, but was a tad brittle and over cooked. The omelette had good flavor, although slightly on the dry side according to Hubby. The chicken fried steak was appropriately crispy and flavorful. They were very kid friendly with our toddler. Overall, this was a nice experience.

We had booked the entire back room for an adult party to celebrate the retirement of a co-worker. Hours before the event, the manager called and wanted to know the "head count" because he wanted to squeeze in another party. Of course, our count had decreased and the manager booked another party into the room we had reserved as a private event. When we arrived, I asked why this had happened and who would be in the room with us. I jokingly said a party for "2 year olds"? Of course, I was correct. There were two little girls who ran around the entire time, parents who did a poor job of managing them and our event was totally a disappointment. This was an event with adults who had stories to share. This was not a place to share them as there were children and others in the room ( strangers). DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE FOR AN EVENT! In reality, I was surprised the group booked here. It isn't somewhere to celebrate anything special. Now on the other hand... the server was excellent ( Thank you Amber!) The food was the same as always, good bar food and excellent drinks.

I enjoy having a drink and a burger here occasionally. Bought a few groupons for this particular restaurant and for the new one in Everett mall. I like their bar area to watch the games.

Really wish one could rate the servers separately from the food! Our server Jake, deserves five stars. He was attentive , prompt and friendly. Really made us feel welcomed and took great care of us and we were a large group, about 25 of us. The food is a whole different story.. Two of us - that I know of so far, there might more....- got sick from the food. We did not eat the same things. Do they not temp their food correctly? Is the kitchen not sanitary? I don't know. I do know however, that I will never eat at Bob's Burgers & Brew again as this is not the first time I got sick eating there.

Bobs was great 10 years ago but now the service is poor, the food is really greasy and the price for what you get is very high.

First, I'm so sorry to all those out there that like this restaurant - if that's you, don't read further, you'll get upset. We read the reviews of this place and wanted to like it, since it is a WA homegrown restaurant. Hmmm... but let's just say we're not going back, and we'll stick to Red Robin for similar BUT MUCH better tasting and priced food. My husband's standard is a French Dip and he bases whether he'll go back to a place on how they can make that. First, it's advertised as STACKS AND STACKS of beef, ... his could only be described as a couple of pieces. It was dull to say the least and NOT even close to the worth the price. The fries were less tasty than store bought frozen fries. The onion rings tasted like grease and more grease. My Ranch burger was a knock off of the Red Robin Royal and was just OK. Oh and we waited at least 10 minutes at the front for any one to greet us and take us to a table. My older son liked his kids burger, but my younger one's grilled cheese was barely melted cheese and not really made kid-friendly. I'm sorry but we just won't be giving this one another chance.

Not familiar with Bobs? You should be. My recent experience was close to perfection. I found a comfortable booth immediately during a busy dinner hour in the bar. The female server was excellent. She was friendly, quick, came to the table at the perfect intervals and even made me feel affirmed as I ordered. The food arrived in good time and was excellent. I had the jalapeno popper burger complimented by Elysian's winter brew. What a treat.

I am fairly confident I could have eaten at a vending machine and had better service. I sat in the bar with roughly three other people and you would think with two employees my chances of reasonable service were good. I literally had to flag the staff down and ask for everything water, menu, my order. I received 0 follow up on food or refill for my empty glass. The food itself was ok but nothing I would go out of my way for. The best part of my meal was getting the check so I could leave. At least I saved money on the tip?

The food here is pretty good. The waitress was quick and friendly. This is a good place to go for a casual night out.

Bobs is underwhelming to say the least. We ended up here when the RAM was jam packed. We sat in the bar, with a cocktailer that was more concerned with how his reflection looked than taking care of his tables. It was really disappointing to see how he treated us (a man and a woman)-- cold and short-- and how he greeted a table of two girls-- warm, friendly, charming. But hey, a server is a server right? We just wanted some grub. I ordered the Steak Salad, he ordered a burger. The steak salad was very blah. I've had better salads at Red Robin and Applebees easily. It was steak on top of chopped Iceberg lettuce and strings of onions. Not visually appealling and pretty much flavorless. His burger is underwhelming as well. Bobs is mediocre at best. Better food and better service at a Red Robin, Olive Garden, Applebees, heck anywhere that is on the same price point as Bobs.

Conveniently located next to the outlet mall. Where you gonna go when your stomach is rumbling and you need something to eat? Right here. This is what I ordered yelp.ca/biz_photos/bobs-… It was a bacon cheeseburger, with sourdough bread substituted for the bun. The burger patty tasted fine. It least it didn't taste like frozen cardboard. Too many fries for me. Good thing my daughter was with me - she finished it with her fries appetite. They were frozen fries and they tasted like....................................... frozen fries. Maybe I'll get a salad next time, IF I ever venture into the outlet mall area again. I also ordered soup of the day. This, I must admit, was quite tasty. New England style with lots of clams and bacon, real bacon. I would come back for this. Decor is like any other run of the mill burger joint, think Red Robin. The servers were very friendly. Child friendly, they gave my daughter crayons and a colouring placemat.

We have frequented this establishment many times and we truly enjoy their food and their hospitality. We have been to other locations, but prefer this one to them due to the building itself and the staff. My husband loves their burgers, I think he has tried almost all of them. I have tried their salads, burgers, & chicken sandwiches and have always been pleased. The prices are not inexpensive for sure, but the quality supports the pricing. We have yet to try their Sunday brunch, but we are making plans to try it in our near future.

  • Kristi H.

Just... no. About the only good thing I have to say is that its kid friendly and the servers were attentive. The interior is shabby and uninteresting and smelled. I think its really weird that they have a buffet on Sunday, but it actually looked better than our lunch. Our kids all ordered off the kid menu and it was fairly standard fare. Prices should have been about a dollar cheaper for the quality. The milkshake was blah and blended oddly. Kind of chunky. Husband got the Western Bar-B-Q Burger and it was ok. I got the Jalapeno Burger and it was ok. Nothing was appalling, but there is so much that could be done better. Bun was cold and untoasted, cheese not melted, sloppily assembled. Nothing tasted "wow!". There was a weird shriveled orange slice on the plate. WTH? This place is a 1/2 step above Denny's and about 2 steps below Red Robin, or our favorite, Blazing Onion. Blazing Onion does unique burgers well. Nothing here tasted unique or special in any way. What makes an "eh" burger worthy of a review is that we paid WAY too much for it. The burgers should be $6 or $7. Instead we paid $11! Food is way overpriced for this quality. It was disappointing that I wasted my carefully hoarded calories on this place instead of visiting our known tried and true. We won't be wasting calories or cash here again.

Want to make note that they have a gluten free menu too. Really good options :)

  • RJ Z.

Burgers are large but not very flavorful. The onion rings and fries were the standard freezer type. The portions were very large but not worth taking home. The price is about 4-6 dollars too high for the food. It comes across as more expensive version of applebees that meets or under performs the formers quality. I dont plan on going back. If your looking for great local no frills burgers and bar food, hit Tony V's still my favorite.

Went here over the weekend with Mellisa & Karmen. Had an aloha burger with Jojos. Had to get teriyaki on the side because it didn't come on the burger which is unusual, most burgers with Swiss & pineapple come with it. Jojos were a little bland, but the tarter sauce was fine and helped out. The server was attentive, but not around too much. I am not a big fan of pickle chips, but their pickles were really good. Never said that before, not sure what it was about them. Didn't have any water, just a nice fruity drink.

We stopped here after driving down from Vancouver. The place is comfortable, the food is excellent and the service is superb. Our server was very attentive and provided exceptional service. The steak I ordered was done exactly as requested. We will definitely be stopping by here for a meal whenever we drive south.

My mom wanted to go there for Mothers Day, and every Sunday they have a brunch buffet. You'd think they would be prepared for the brunch they have every Sunday, it's their thing. I don't think it's fair that my family paid 20 bucks a pop for cold food that ran out about 5 minutes after we got there. The buffet menu boasted things like prime rib and different kinds of meats and breakfast foods, but what it really was was a bunch of greasy cold food. Staff was inattentive and the females weren't even wearing their uniforms which just seemed trashy. Last time we went there was 2 years ago, and I don't think we'll be back.

First noticeable thing is the beef aroma that permanents in the air from this restaurant. The smell is really strong and makes you look around to figure out where it is coming from; when you locate the smoke coming from the grill you can see it's from Bob's Burgers. It's a notch up from Red Robin and Applebees, however I agree with the other reviewers that the food is a bit pricey for what you are eating. I presume price is heavily dictated by location and being in the Tulalip Casino strip mall. If you are shopping at the outlet there is a food court that is more reasonable.

  • Kiki H.

The food was yummy ~ compares to Red Robin in the burger comparison, Bob's has more variety of burgers, the burgers are yummy at both, the fries however are also yummy at both but here's the difference, at Red Robin they have endless steak fries but they only come ask you if you want more after you've finished your burger, I think they do that on purpose so you will say no, at Bob's they have med cut fries and give you what I would say is three helpings, also if you get cheese sticks it isn't 4 like most places, it was several, the marinara was yummy too. The waitress keep the drinks coming. The bill was less than a Red Robin trip as well, we also had a coupon in our local addies for $7.00 off of two entrees with two drinks purchase. The initial greet was off but we think maybe they were training new greet and seaters, the service was great otherwise and the food was super yummy! I would say skip Red Robin and head to Bob's Burgers and Brew! : )

I like the food, the atmosphere is a little loud at times. I do not like that they gouge you on Holidays for the buffet. Mother's Day buffet was $29 a plate??? Not much discount for the 5 year old either. That was a rip off.

  • Arick R.

Definitely getting sick of this place. Been here 4 times now and I think it's just average fare. Burgers are okay, nothing special. Best thing I had was their steak which I'd give 4 stars. Service is friendly, although it can be slow.

Bobs big bonanza was great. We split it and was a great burger.

Fantastic Burgers and super friendly staff. First off the burgers are awesome and their beer selection is good and the Heff there is fantastic. The waitresses have always been super friendly with a bit of flirt and sarcasm thrown in. If you expect someone to suck up to you and put your napkin in your lap you in the wrong place.

  • Crystal O.

If the parking lot is any indicator of how good the food is, this place lets you know when you drive by that it is great! The parking lot is always packed and you see cars circling around trying to find a spot which is the only downfall to this place. The burger selection is nice, the fries are generous, and the taste is great. So far, this is my favorite place to get a burger. YUM!

After reading some of the other reviews, I feel compelled to add my two cents on this establishment. My husband and I live in Marysville and frequent this location of Bob's on a regular basis. We have always been treated well by the staff, been seated in a reasonable time period (I've never waited longer than 30 minutes even during a rush), and enjoyed our food. I've had a variety of meals including entree-sized salads, burgers, chicken, fish and appetizers - and not once had an issue with quality or consistency. I would say the only items I haven't tried are the breakfasts, steaks or fish. We personally find the atmosphere and food to be better than Red Robin, Boston's or Applebee's - which are the main three competitors in Marysville. Bob's is a chain but a local one, which I would much rather support than a national mega-chain. I hope you give this restaurant a second chance after reading my review. Being a repeat customer and a local one at that, I highly recommend this place!

  • Honey T.

With all the cars in the parking lot - I thought it would have been great. Way overpriced for the quality of food they serve. I was very disappointed. Two burger meals and a cobb salad - over $50. If they were good, I could see it - but they weren't even mediocre. Perhaps I should have had a brew first and then I wouldn't have cared. I walked away feeling ripped off.

I've been to Bob's many, many times and the food has always been great, while the service has been about the same. I always order the bacon burger and it's always been delicious. Their Sunday breakfast brunch is amazing, if you haven't, and love breakfast foods - definitely try it out. The service is just what you'd expect from a place like this - standard, perhaps sometimes a bit below. The waitstaff consists of cute teensters and pizza face'd busboys. Typically the female teensters seem more concerned about who they're going to play 'mattress' for that night, than your order - oh well.

  • Thomas D.

seriously folks...greeted or I should say ignored by the very young and inexperianced hostess. Too many resturants just paying minimum and getting what they pay for. Unprofessional greeters. Waitress was fair but this seems to be more of the norm in Washington. Even at expensive places good service is hard to find. Food is average at best. typical shopping mall food (not food court) outside franchise type of stuff. Food is for the average joe with the average palate. Nothing special..very similar to The Ram and Blazing Onion...but would take last place with the other two.

Went for the Sunday all you can eat buffet, Kids five and under eat free... service was great, and food was good! On a breakfast buffet I expected to see more pancakes, but they didn't have them... Waffels, French toast, hash browns, potatoes, Eggs made to order, Eggs Benedict, fresh cut fruit, some pastries, and a couple different kinds of sausages/meet. I have to say, the Hash browns where PERFECT! I've worked buffets before and hash browns are hard to have the right mix of doneness, flavor and crunchiness!

  • Aevi A.

This place is always crowded may because of the only decent place to eat around. But the food is great. I love their burgers. They also have a good selection of beer. On a bright sunny day I love to sit outside drink my fav summer beer Widmer Heffe, cig and a burger. The ones I have tried so far are Mushroom Chicken Burger , Fresh Mushroom Burger, Teriyaki Chicken Burger , Turkey Melt . Among cocktails I love Hurricane (a mix of Myers, Bacardi 151, Pineapple Juice, Orange Juice). Dont miss their Calamari Rings, and Tempura prawns.

Bob's in Marysville is great! My husband and I always sit in the bar, and the food and service is consistently good. Super busy on our recent visit, but the bar staff are PROS!! They always let me make litte substitutions, and the kitchen always gets our orders right!! (....yes, I would prefer hand-cut fries??? please! ) but other than that I wish I could visit every day!

This staff seemed like they didn't care about anything and the food was denny's quality. Having heard many great things about friends of friends that had eaten here I decided to give it a shot. My party of four arrived at 6pm on a weeknight. We had to park in the Wal-mart parking lot Bob's lot was full. The Restaurant was also full but the greeter was friendly as was the young lady who showed us to our seats after a short wait. We were ignored for quite some time until we flagged down a server to take a drink order. Our drinks were delivered and the trouble began. My seven year old son was served his drink in a cracked glass with a chipped rim. When we managed to flag down another server she asked "what do you want me to do about it" I informed her that I wanted a new glass and she grudgingly complied. The service did not get any better the fries were soggy and I could have gotten a much better burger for much less at Paradise Burger.

I went to this restaurant while visiting my mom and sister. They told me it was always busy but we must've went during an off time because it wasn't. The service did need improvement and the staff left much to be desired. It was enough to make me not go back if I did live closer. They did have a large selection of various burgers, which was impressive. I'm not much for meat so I got a cobb salad, which was good, nothing special. I ordered a cocktail and it came out in a dirty glass, which pretty much disgusted me.

Food ok - Service - by far the worst experience I have ever had! Waitress spilled water on me, didn't apologize but said she would bring me some extra napkins. Same broad - brought of of the folks in our party a knife and instead of going to the side in which he was sitting came to the corner of the table next to me reached across my plate to hand it to him - soooo freakin rude. I ordered a salad instead of fries and requested that I get my salad first before the burger. Apparently that is just too hard - got my salad w/my burger. Told the waitress that I'm not going to eat it and she can take it back. She took it back and told me that it would not be deducted from my meal. Ummm ok?! I was with my Husband, Brother In Law & Son. It was really great when she handed the tab to my Brother In Law and took it from him and said so she could hear - I'll take care of this. I think she pretty much knew that she wouldn't be getting a tip. This is the first time I have ever not tipped at a restaurant. I told my husband that I would never ever go back there and haven't since!

it WAS the liquor and the winning at the casino that made this place so good the first time i came here! Went again and ordered SAME exact thing. This time burger seemed dry and just....ugh....like a red robin burger but half as good. And red robin is OK to say the least. Well, wont be back....damn you casino!!!!!!!

Bob's Burgers and Brew specializes - as the name implies - in burgers. Of the times I've frequented Bob's I've only had one experience that was less-than-optimal, which was mid-day in the summer. The food at that time seemed slightly undercooked, although every subsequent visit has been better. The pros: The burgers are a significant portion. In the early days of the location they provided an overabundance of your side, whether they be fries, onion rings, or whatever else you may have ordered. Either economics or common sense have led to Bob's scaling down to sub-American-sized portions, which is probably beneficial for anyone dining there. The burgers are also cooked to order and not overdone. I mention the right-sized portions, but this goes out the window with regard to dessert. A friend and I went to Bob's about two months back and he ordered a slice of apple pie a la mode. The "slice" was roughly a quarter slice of an entire pie. Cons: Minor, for me was the appetizers not being more than filler. I held them to the same standard as I expect the burgers and found them a couple steps above a Denny's, but not matching a Boston's. Not a show stopper by any means. Overall: Friendly, good burger, and am a fan. The Ranch Burger is a must if you're a fan of the Royal from Red Robin.

First off, thank god The Ram is coming to Tulalip. Tried the brunch buffet, very limited, no bacon and the only way to get eggs is to order them and it takes a while to get your order. Gave up on the omelet after 2 came out wrong and the first replacement was overdone, tasted like burnt oil. The first line on the order form, in bold, is NO CHEESE, yet both of mine were checked and came out with cheese.

Bob's is a chain that started in Whatcom County years ago. Its pretty much all over the place up there as they have good food at a fair price. This location is no exception. I was pleased to see that Bob's has moved much closer to my home and is a short jump on I-5 from Seattle. The restaurant is new and looks it. There are flat screen TV's every were, even in the Men's room over the urinals. (Now that's peeing in style!). As I stated, the food is good and you get a lot. You always receive way more fries they any one could ever really eat and their onion rings are one of my personal favorite. Prices are good for what you get. They have a full bar that has Guinness on tap. They also have a breakfast buffet on the weekend.

Great happy hour menu. The portions are huge! All the appetizers are big enough that one order could easily feed two people. I thought the prices were pretty good (~$10 for a burger, $7-$10 for appetizers) and the food is decent.

Meh. Those are the only words that can describe Bob's. Burgers are not that great, not a very good selection of burgers either. Red Robins is 200% better than Bob's would ever be. The service kind of sucks, and the manager or whoever is creepy looking. Well I don't know if it's still the same guy but you'll know if it's the creepy looking guy or not.

Went to breakfast there and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Great Coffee and food. Service was exceptional. Will go again when they have Sunday Brunch.

Ok, I might have a different perspective than others because I've never actually had a burger *or* brew here. However, I've been several times and I've never been disappointed. The service has always been excellent. The food and drinks are very good. Yes, sometimes there is a wait, but isn't that the case for all popular restaurants? I usually get a lunch entree, but if you're really hungry get a dinner. It's enough food to feed two people! Another nice thing about them is that they will let anyone order off of the senior menu. So if you want a smaller portion, no problem. My husband likes the burgers, but he's not all that particular. After all, he thinks I'm the best cook ever!

This is a great place for a good burger and beer, just as the name suggests. I was a bit surprised at how nice this place was, I had only been to the bob's in ferndale which is very run down and not all that great. This place rocks, great staff and food.

This is in my top 5 places to eat, if it weren't such a drive I'd be there more often. From the Bleu Cheese Burger, to the Courdon Bleu Chicken Burger, Bar Steak and the onion rings, this place makes my taste buds quiver. But please, my all time favorite burger that goes unnoticed I'm sure is the RANCH BURGER. Do not be confused, there is no ranch dressing on it. It consists of Bacon, a Fried egg and Cheese (plus normal condi's). I'm not a huge fan of fried eggs and especially would NEVER consider putting it on my burger but the combination of bacon, cheese, lettuce, egg and their sauce sends out an oral orgasm in my mouth. My reveiews on the service are generally the same for most places, it depends on when you go there and how busy they are but everyone is overall very friendly and if there is a problem they fix it. I can't imagine telling a waitress that I have a chipped glass and have them respond by saying "What do you want me to do about it?" They have more of these up north and am keeping my fingers, toes and eyes crossed that one will make it more south. For my healthy heart's sake!!! I would have given Bob's 5 stars but I'm hesitant for reasons I can't explain. The portions are huge (big burgers, lotso fries) and I almost always need a box. For the cost, ($9-12/burger) you get more than your monies worth.

Stopped with a friend for lunch. We both got burgers, although some of the other menu items looked good. I got the Bacon Burger at the waitresses suggestion after asking about the difference between that and the Bob's Bonanza Burger. She told me that she saw too many people struggling with the Bonanza Burger and it was just too big, but if I wanted the mushrooms I could add them. I opted for the potato salad, rather than fries. I was starved, but I just barely finished my potato salad and burger. 1/3 pound char-broiled burger, with all the trimmings. The meat was still moist, but not dripping grease like a lot of places. I could tell it was a lot better quality burger here. My friend got the Ranch Burger, which was similar to mine, but with the addition of a fried egg. She only made it half way through her berger and fries. And as bad as I wanted to sample her fries, I was too full to even try just one.

This place has a long list of specialty burgers, as well a chicken burgers. It is close to the Marysville outlets, 24 hour Wal Mart, and the Tulalip Casino. I had the Bleu Burger (add bacon) and the onion rings. The burgers are prepared well, everything came out timely and hot - even though it was a very busy night in the restaurant - and our server took good care of us. I will definitely be going back!

This place has some pretty good burgers. We usually come here with a larger party of maybe 6-8 and they always have room for us. Its also a good place to stop in for a fairly quick bite if you cant stomach fast food burgers, and this place has mac n jacks on tap.

  • Faith E.

This place has been packed since it opened. I went here with my expectations low, after all, it is in Marysville and it is called Bob's. The burger's are relatively good, but you have to specify that you don't want your burger cooked well-done or they will cook it until it is no longer juicy. I'd recommend the fish and chips.

The guacamole burger & onion rings for $1.00 more is heaven on earth - no lie! They even make a great unsweetened ice tea! The service was excellent but, that burger....

Great burgers--great place to stop and get some grub after shopping at the outlets up the street. Great service--we always get greeted and seated right away at lunchtime--servers are attentive and helpful. They have so many burgers here you can definitely get one anyway you want. Definitely a family friendly burger joint--check them out.

Not always on their menu, but available every time I've ordered it is the Extreme Mushroom Burger. Comes without a bun and loaded to the light fixtures with shrooms! Better than any burger I've had at Red Robin or Flamin' Onion. Fries always top notch and tasty as well, but don't get to eat alot of them because have to finish my burger. Recent Happy Hour yielded a $6 picture of brew, much more economically feasible than the $6 beer I had at the concert later on! Been out there 5 times, solid experience 5 times. The tiny TVs in the Men's room make sure you don't miss a pitch or a tackle!

So heres the deal. I went here with one friend and it was about 10pm. I asked the host if they had soup (I had a craving) and it turns out they did. Well the ginger host thought I was trying to be funny or something equally awkward so he proceeded to talk to my friend and me the rest of the time we were there pretty much. He wouldn't take a hint and go away. Also, our waitress couldn't have cared less if we were there and was nowhere in sight once the food was down. The clam chowder was pretty good (more New England style than typical Seattle chowder)...nice and thick. Anyhow, my friend also had chunks of weird white stuff in the water and instead of apologizing and giving my friend new water the ginger host (who literally was circling us) said "DO YOU BACKWASH?" which was mortifying and disgusting. So who knows how many health code violations there were. Anyhow, don't go here. The food wasn't inedible but everything else was no bueno.

4-5 stars for the Burgers!! Great Burgers!!! Service is either so-so or non-existence. As all the time I've been there so it seem waitresses are obviously there for the eye candy factor but can't do their job, at least not a good job. But I'm there for the burger I tell myself every time. If you want a big burger and not high quality dining at the same time happen to be in the area. Bob is the place.

Whenever I'd come to town (when I was living in Texas), me and my mom would end up here. I don't know what it is but, enjoying a burger and a massive hefeweizen in the bar after some shopping is a very pleasurable experience. Their food is great, they always have seasonal items so the menu is versatile. When we went with my neice we had to sit in the dining room, service was terrible. So bar, yay, restaurant area, nay. I hear great things about their Sunday brunch, I'll have to check that out.

Stopped in on the way back from the northern Cascades for a snack. Had some sub-par milk shakes, good nachos, so-so onion rings, and average service. Lots of sour cream was served. Next time, I'll hold out to get to Seattle for something better.

Always liked to visit North-End Bob's when I passed by.... It sure was great to see one pop up even though its hectic to go there sometimes when Wallie-World traffic is heavy! For this type of Burger/Pub, you can expect some of the best in the area for sandwiches, true-burgers(not fast-food!) and selection of drinks.

We've stopped here a few times on the way home from family visits. It's pretty convenient. That's probably why it's always packed. Think... Red Robin, except not as obnoxious. The food has always been OK. Not good, not terrible. Just OK. It's a stop along a major freeway, to cater to the taste(less)-buds of the masses. And that is exactly what it does.

Breakfast 3/29. Fair sized portions, very good prices-except for very pricey drip coffee. Slow service at both ends: taking orders and payment. If I lived close I'd probably return. I don't so I won't. Oh, the dinner menu is very pricey for a burger joint.

Sat having lunch right now with friends and have just realized that what we thought was funky wallpaper is in fact disgusting food splatters. Yuck, added to the below par food I think this will be our last time here. (Maybe we can sneak back in a week and see if they cleaned the wall). Onion rings used to be amazing, as were the fries, today they seem to be rewarmed from yesterday. Not what I would expect for a $90 bill. Sad really, because the wait staff are great. If you have a choice to go somewhere else I would recommend you do that. This entire meal was mediocre.

Meh. Seriously, meh and eek. When I eat a burger at a back yard bar-b-cue, I expect a hockey puck between a bun. Not at a restaurant with the word "burger" in its name. And how do you get blue cheese and other condiments on a burger and still end up with a flavorless piece of hockey puck meat? So not only do they overcook their burgers, they don't seem to season their burgers. The service was semi-friendly, but my glass wasn't refilled once. I won't be returning to this restaurant. why pay that price for a burger, when I know the burgers at McDonald's taste better?

We love Bob's Burgers & Brew in Marysville! (Well, Tulalip, on reservation land :)) Good prices, nice, comfy seating and friendly service. We love to sit by the fireplace after coming in from the cold and wet. My favorite thing on the menu thus far? Steak salad! Excellent cut of meat, cooked exactly as ordered, 3 times in a row! Love consistency! Love their bleu cheese dressing on the side! We always get their tea caddy with plenty of choices for herbal refills. (Don't you hate it when other restaurants give you a single tea bag and 2 servings of water?) Bob's is where we go when we get a hankering for steak salad. We split a chocolate cake once. Needs 3 people to finish it off! Yum! Good job, Bob's! Can't wait to try your burgers!

The burger was good, could have used a little more BBQ sauce, and the jojos were great. I want to try the salads next time, they looked delicious! Portions were good, price was a bit high.

Great service, whether in the bar or the dining room. The bar steak is excellent, and a great deal. Great for environment no matter if you're with friends, date night or a family dinner. We have never had a bad experience. I requested a beer that they did not have, and was brought pint of a comparable draft on the house. You will not be disappointed :)

My second visit to this location was more not as memorable as the first one. My chicken sandwich took an extended period of time to be served and when it was, the chicken patty was very dry and tasted overcooked. The french fries were hard and cold, it almost felt like they put the fries on the plate and waited for the sandwich to be cooked and prepared, which creates a horrible combination. The lettuce on the burger was a shredded lettuce, which was surprising for what was supposed to be a more deluxe burger (at almost $12 dollars in cost) The cheese quesadilla was $8.00 and was actually a very good value and good quality. There was a small amount of tomatoes and olives inside which added for a great unique taste blend. Sodas are $2.79 each, so over $3.00 with tax, wow, this is theme park prices!! Service is good and friendly, which is the saving grace for their rating. Overall, this is not a location that I would return to again though and/or recommend to friends.

My grandmother is a big burger fan, so we have been in and out of Bob's Burger and Brew more than a couple of times. Firstly, as a vegetarian, I'm very frustrated by the choices available to me. Even the salads have a ton of meat on them. (I can't imagine being a vegan trying to eat here - good luck finding a dish with no cheese!) Even when I have ordered a salad without chicken, it is has been delivered with meat and I spend a ridiculous amount of time picking it out or picking around it. My family who does eat meat has never complained about the quality of their dishes. The portions are extremely large and the burgers look tasty. I recently found out that a veggie burger is available within the chain, but I can't say I've ever seen it on the menu. I plan to ask about it next time, but my hopes aren't high. The service is never terrible, but I can't say that I've ever had a server who seemed to go out of their way to display outstanding customer service. More than once, their hostesses have ignored us when we come in for several minutes while they help others. I don't think it's that hard to say, "Hi! I'll be with you in a minute." Overall, I would have to say that it's... Fine? There certainly isn't anything outstanding about the place and I don't seek it out on my own, but I don't complain when I'm asked to go with family or friends either. If you're looking for a quick, American, risk-free meal, you could consider stopping by on the way out of the Casino or Outlet Mall.

Burger portions are large but the price is just as large. A regular burger you are looking close to $10 and are just so-so. Burgers at Red Robin are so much better as the meat and seasonings seem to be missing. The waitress we had was attentive and took care of business; too bad the food did not cut the mustard. Not recommended for real good and juicy burgers, go to Applebee's or Red Robin for a better food experience at a similar or better price.

After a long day of driving, we stopped in to this place which seemed to have a great atmosphere. It was busy but we got a seat in the bar area. After ordering, our food didn't come for 50 mins, so I asked the waitress to check on it and her response was it will be out when it's up! No apologies for the delay or anything. Food came shortly thereafter so it was ok and I didn't care. My steak salad was tasting pretty good until I pulled out a lettuce with a chunk of mud on it. Thoroughly disgusted, I calmly showed it to the waitress who went on to tell me, "they do come from the ground you know" and "if you find anymore I will give you half off". Needless to say I returned the entire meal and will not be going there again.

we really like this particular Bob's location. Service in the bar is always good. I love love love their fish and chips.. make sure you ask for "goop", their housemade sauce... way better than tartar! My husband likes their burgers as well, and the onion rings. Last night we made the MISTAKE of trying the new Ram restaurant by the outlet malls, it was TERRIBLE. Next time we will stick to Bob's.

Amongst the best burger places. A must try. It's good for a family setting. Service was good and the burgers are just BIG. A good variety of of burgers to choose from. I tried the popular Bob signature burger, and had it cut in half to split it with a friend along with plenty of fries. It's a better alternative than Denny's. This is a definite try.

My husband both agree that we love Bob's. The hamburger's are really great, I always get my hamburger in a wrap and it always hits the spot everytime minus the extra calories from the bun. The jojo's and fries are equally delicious. No complaints about the service, they're always friendly and attentive. Though I always feel like I'm walking into an Abercrombie & Fitch when I go in there, the staff is all cute and junk! Thanks Bob's for filling my belly with hamburger goodness!!

Just happened to stop here while heading to the Tulalip Outlets. The Place had a great vibe to it. My friend and I headed towards the bar since they had outdoor seating and it was a warm sunny day. To start off the service was a little slow for a not so busy time. That alone takes it down a couple stars. We started it off by ordering a delicious ice cold beer from tap. After debating between two different burgers I decided to go with the Western BBQ Burger, which has savory sauce, lettuce, tomato and 6 oz. burger, topped with American cheese, Hormel bacon, 2 onion rings, and BBQ sauce. I was very impressed with the burger. You know it's a good burger when everytime you take a bite the juices run down your hand and the cheese is flowing off the sides. Bob's has great selection of burgers and chicken burgers. I haven't had anything else here but the burgers and I think I will stick with that because they are quite tasty.

If you have time to waste or kill for an overpriced burger go ahead stop on in. Or if your drinking in the bar and want to eat a burger this is your special overpriced joint. Otherwise find a worthy burger that is not overpriced. Mushroom burger while full of mushrooms lacked the taste of a great quality meat. Sloppy burger if you do not toss it down as fast as you can as it will explode on you in a minutes. The onion rings trump the boring fries. The ho hum quality catsup, mustard and mayo are nothing more than an assistant to cover the dry bun if you order a plain cheese burger. Soda was less than bubbly. Save yourself the money go someplace else other then this overpriced lackluster chain .Waitstaff fails as our charming but oblivious waitress does not know how to get ice out of water. one star for clean restrooms, one star for parking.

My first visit here was today and I must say, if I have the choice, I won't be back again. The food was edible, but the price is outrageous for the quality. I had the french dip, and at first I thought it would be worth the price of 10.99 for the quantity. But then, I realized it was the enormous bread that fooled me, not an enormous sandwich. The roast beef was very dry and tasteless. The french bread reminded me of the french bread Albertsons donates to the food bank at its expiration date. There was a pile of fries...but there is absolutely nothing special about their fries. Most people who like American food would probablu like them more than I did though. I chose the FD because, well, nothing else seemed appetizing enough for at least $12. Everybody else who ordered food with us didn't get anything that was memorable. Perhaps the half sized salad that actually looked decent and was still a very, very large portion for being only half. The service, however, was good. Absolutely no complaints there at all although it wasn't exceptional but that's okay. The food didn't feel worth the money to me at all, and in this economy, I can't be spending $12 on a less than average sandwich.

For a place seemingly known for their burgers, they sure know how to over cook one. I ordered the Blue Cheese Burger, cooked medium-rare. What I got was a charred hockey puck with hardly any cheese on it. 2 stars instead of 1 because the waitress offered to remake my burger, though I was with friends and didn't want to make everyone wait for me to eat so I declined. The pickled green beans served with my bloody mary were tasty, but the drink itself was bland and weak.

  • Randy C.

First off, you need to understand that Bob's is always packed but it isn't because of amazing service or quality food! It is the ONLY place in the area to eat! The customers are made up primarily of outlet mall shoppers and casino patrons looking for a cheap meal before they gamble. While they have a decent beer selection on tap and a variety of burgers and chicken burgers, the quality is sub standard and the consistently poor service will disappoint you every time. In addition to burgers Bob's offers a steak, which is ok, and huge salads but they taste like salad from a bag at Safeway. Overall, if you want a burger look for a Red Robin.

Note to self: if it says the place is a huge user of Hormel products, swim away, swim away! Note to self again, pay attention to prior yelp reviews. Alright, so myself and two of my family members are in Tulalip and we think let's try this place, why not? Here's exactly why not. I ordered the Squirrel sandwich, not sure why it was named the Squirrel sandwich, but I'm sure it wasn't squirrel, I'm also sure it wasn't really well made roast beef too. The sandwich I ordered was roast beef, cheese and tomatoes on grilled sourdough. My son ordered a honey mustard chicken sandwich on ciabatta. My daughter in law ordered a turkey ranch swiss on a roll. My sandwich was piled high with a type of roast beef that was first incredibly salty and then in looking at this was the type of roast beef that you can buy for cheap at say a safeway or Albertson's. It was not good. My son's sandwich was ok, nothing special at all as far as taste was concerned. My daughter said her sandwich was good. Her's came with potato wedges or jojo's as they are called. Ours came with french fries, which were ok and thank goodness cause the sandwich wasn't really worth eating. For the price you pay, 16.00 for an average sandwich, really the quality should be better. Now let's talk about the service. Our waiter, took our order and then we didn't see him much. Now granted the place became busy but service also wasn't so great. We waited for refills for awhile, had to flag down a bus boy for our bills too, then had to wait for our change. One of the first times I have not paid attention to yelp reviews, shame on me. Won't be back to this place.

I used to love this place when it first opened. Couldn't get enough. After a long spell of not eating here, I have been back a few times for lunch and once for brunch. It is still a pretty good place, but i would say that nothing really draws me back. just average food, average service. Prices are a little high.

Service above average; food below. Server apologized for first comment to us; two persons taking the largest booth; it was the only clean booth available when we arrived. Server was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. Food arrived promptly. Order was ham and pea soup, full sized oriental salad, bonanza burger with jojos. Soup salty with weak, one dimension flavor. Cubed ham was added as an afterthought and so there was no ham flavor in the soup. Salad was fresh with a tender, tasty chicken breast and was dressed with just the right amount of dressing. The dressing had a surprising teriyaki flavor. There was an additional cup of dressing on the plate, enough to dress a salad the size of the table! The burger was gigantic and looked delicious. Unfortunately the taste wasn't as good as the look. Despite the tasty toppings and condiments they couldn't make up for the dry bland overcooked meat patties. A bite of just the meat patty lacked and flavor or seasoning. If I had been blindfolded I wouldn't have known it was supposed to be beef. Every other place I've had jojos they were seasoned potato wedges. These were simply deep fried and served without a grain of salt added. Once again the food looked good on the place but had no taste. I should have ordered the salad... Better choices - Blazing Onion or Five Guys Bottom line - two visits in one; first time and last time.

I've been into Bob's on few occasions and service / food have always been a notch or two above average. My son is a faithful Red Robins' addict, so I'm happy to have a burger restaurant that isn't as 'standard' as RR and provides a variety to entertain my appetite. In a long run, I'd give this place a bonus point for being right off I-5 and being extremely easy to access. Location makes it very easy to visit and avoids any traffic congestion (and has ample parking.)

First visit to a Bob's -- don't have them in our part of the country. I like a burger seared on the outside, and I found Bob's just to my liking -- a nearly perfect burger. The fries, however, were mediocre (actually had to ADD salt to them), and the beer selection a little thin for a place with "Brew" in the name. The burgers trump all that, however. Beats the Red Robins of the world to death, in our opinion.

Been a fan of Bob's for a while, they make great burgers and the place is upbeat and fun to go to. However this review is strictly for their breakfast. It is legit. I didn't even know they served breakfast. Anyway, wife had the eggs benedict, and I got the biscuits and gravy. Both were really good. I especially liked the sausage patty that was hidden in the biscuits. We will definitely be back for breakfast. I also noticed they have a weekend brunch, will have to give that a shot as well.

The service was horrible. Our waitress didn't smile once and then ignored us the whole meal. We waited over 30 minutes to get our food and all we ordered was a burger and a chicken sandwich. When the food came, it was obvious it had been sitting under a heat lamp long enough to dry out and both dishes had almost no flavor. We then had to wait with empty plates in front of us for another 30 minutes for our check. No refills, no water, no "anything else?" For the price, it was far from worth it. I could have gotten better food for less money at the food court down the street. Never again.

Too bad there isn't a 3 1/2 star option. We stopped for lunch after hitting the new Cabela's...sat in the bar, server got to us pretty quick and got us a beverage. Since it was our first visit and they have 'Burgers' in their name I went with the basic bacon cheese burger...good! Cooked right, served hot, juicy, etc. 2 scoops of unspectacular potato salad (shoulda went with mojos), wife had sort of a patty melt with sliced beef instead of the patty, thick bread, she really liked it. Service was just okay making it a good but not great experience, we both decided we'd try it again sometime...

I will say after eating hundreds of burgers at Bob's in Bellingham as student at Western Washington, this place continues to put out a pretty damn good burger. First off, the wait staff is not good at all...Know that going in, and you will still have a good meal. Drinks here are a little spendy for the area, but are really well mixed, and contain a good amount of mid-level alcohol. The burgers are the stars though. It doesn't matter if you like chicken or beef, you really can't go wrong with any of the choices here. To all you fans of Red Robin's burgers, eat here, and you will never go back. (Also for your record, the Olive Garden IS NOT authentic Italian food, no matter how hard their advertisements attempt to brainwash you.) I mention this only because the same group that loves Red Robin seems to love the Olive Garden too. That group? Junior High School students getting ready to attend their first Sadie Hawkins dance... Back to Bob's. My personal favorites are the Mushroom Swiss Chicken Burger, that contains so many mushrooms, I often ponder how a fungus can taste o' so good! The Teriyaki Burger With Pinapple is also a highlight for me. If you prefer beef, look no further then the Bleu Cheese Burger, order it, and thank me later... The thing that puts Bob's over the top for me are the sides. The fries and onion rings are good enough to stand on their own, but the fact they COME with your burger puts a smile on my face from ear to ear!! Bob's has been churning out huge tasty burgers for almost a decade in my life, and their consistency is what makes the place a tent pole in culinary adventures. One last thing, call it an insiders tip if you want, but I would advice eating your burger upside down. The juices from the meat and the sauce, can disintegrate the bottom portion of their buns before you have the chance to enjoy more than a few bites!!

Food is usually good as long as you're not getting Sunday brunch. (Seriously, disgusting eggs benedict and they need lessons in omelet making. Blech.) However, service blows. Last visit, requested a booth, was told to wait. Waited, got brought to a table. Which was still gross, my silverware had an onion stuck to it that was so old it was transparent....disgusting. Hubs reminded hostess we had requested a booth, hostess said "you'll have to wait longer," even though there were three clean booths near us. I will never dine at Bob's Burgers and Brew of my own volition ever again. Would prefer dining at Al's Kitty Litter Emporium....

We went to Bob's based on the advice of friends. We were a bit disappointed by the trip to Bob's. First, the service was great. We had no problem with the staff at the location and would eat at a location wherever they work. We ordered the Nachos as an appetizer. The dish was approximately, $10.99 for a plate a nachos. The cost is way overpriced. The nachos were microwaved which makes the chips stale and soggy. It also makes for a lot of grease. Not very good. We then thought the burgers and fries must be better, after all, the place is a burger joint. We were wrong. The burgers tasted like the typical Costco frozen burger. The buns were nothing special. It was very disappointing. Additionally, the prices are WAY to high. We could have gone to a much better place for this much money! The fries and "Jo Jo's" were also something that tasted like I could buy them at Costco. Overall, we won't be back, sorry, it just was not good.

You know...I keep coming back here because my husband LOVES their burgers like you wouldn't believe. I don't actually eat meat so I try to find other items on the menu to try. I've tried the basic garden burger, fish and chips, shrimp and fries and so far nothing has been worth giving a good review over. The fish is usually never cooked enough, the garden burger is boring and even McDonald's has better fries than they do. However, my husband swears that their burgers are some of the best he's ever had. Besides my dislike for the food, the service is decent (except when sitting in the bar where it's terrible) and the restaurant is in a convenient location. I will probably go back because my husband is so happy there but I don't have to like it!!!

I was so disappointed in Bob's recently. I used to frequent the Bellingham location in college and was pleased when Bob's was built near Marysville. I went a week ago Saturday....I was shocked at how disgusting the restaurant looked. The table we were led to had food on the chairs. As I was cleaning my own chair off, I noticed the floor was covered in crumbs and food. We asked to be moved to a booth. As we had lunch, we watched as the waitresses and bus people literally just wiped the tables down and pushed everything onto the floor. I was shocked that they didn't grab a broom to sweep up. The food was mediocre, nothing really special. I certainly won't be going back until they decide to make cleanliness more important. I can only imagine how their food storage and prep looks!

I give them 1 star for being grosse and unsanitary. The service is pleasant. The flavor of the burgers were bland. The mayo used on the burgers tasted like a very cheap brand that leaves a film on your tongue. Atleast the burgers are big, But they are NOT WORTH $10. For $10 your burgers better be amazing. The fries were mediocre. On top of that some of the colors of the food seemed unnaturally bright, like the soup that had a radioactive orange color. On our way out we happen to notice trash all over the floor of the kitchen by the overflowing trash can. The place was completely dead. How could they just let trash pile up and spill onto the floor of the kitchen entrance? There were two employees standing around, chatting at the entrance, who didn't seem concerned about anything going on at their place of employment. And our waitress walked by the mess many times and didn't say a word about getting it cleaned up. Let's sum it up: Not worth the money. Overpriced. Mediocre food. Lazy employees.

This place was mediocre. I ordered the clam chowder and a western burger. The burger was solid but didn't have any star power. It seemed like a burger you could get a Red Robbins. The waitress started out a little cold but became nicer towards the end of our meal. There weren't too many food options around here which is why we stopped here in the first place. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to go to Bob's Burgers & Brew but if you are in the neighborhood it doesn't totally disappoint.

OMG, they have jojo's! I haven't had these since I actually lived in Washington over 15yrs ago! I would go back just for their perfect jojo's. I also tried their onion rings, which I honestly couldn't care less about, and their bleu cheese burger, which is delicious, and definitely NOT short on pungent bleu cheese. I washed it all down with a $9 martini that I cannot remember the name of, but it was really tasty and worth every penny. Did I mention the jojo's?

Nothing special really, your run-of-the-mill chain burger joint. I didn't get a burger this time though, I went with the old standby: BLT. I love me a good BLT but this was not one of them. Blah bread and way too much mayo = not great. The fries were decent but it was ho-hum at best. Pretty much fits the bill for Marysville I guess. Our waitress was nice which was a plus.

After camping Sat night and eating less than stellar food, we were both craving a nice burger and fries. On the way back from Panther Creek (near Ross Lake) I Googled the keyword "burgers" into my phone and came up with two spots which sounded enticing: Paradise Burgers in Arlington and Bob's. Well, Paradise is closed now so the next option was to hop on I-5 and head south to Bob's. Our craving for burgers could have dulled the true experience here but overall, we found it fantastic. Fries were crisp and hot, burgers were juicy and flavorful. Add a few 24 oz beers for $6.50 and you've got two happy campers (pun intended). Nothing spectacular but good beers, good service, great ambiance/TV's and good food.

First off, I can't remember the last time I saw a restaurant that actually bragged about serving Hormel on their menu, yet Bob's Burgers does. Is this admission of mediocrity supposed to prepare the diner for the future disappoint to arrive on their plate? In a way I suppose it did for me. I'm not a fan of Red Robin yet I would rate Red Robin much higher than Bob's Burgers. It might be unfair to assume that Bob's Burgers was a business plan thought up by an accountant or at least someone with the restricted mathematical mind set as apposed to someone with a passion for good food. I ordered a burger that is the equivalent to the sourdough jack at Jack in the Box and was only slightly better; not worth the extra money. The service was acceptable. How can Bob's burgers change for the better? A start would be getting rid of all the frozen and industrial made crap and bring in fresh ground beef; at least 80/20. Find a local organic source for smoked bacon. As it seems Bob's Burgers honors many other burger joints by using similar ideas and style I suggest going one further by adding pencils and paper slips containing all burger ingredient choices like the Counter. Atmosphere- Ruby Tuesday tries to focus on the local culture featuring items from all sorts of places including local high schools and colleges, sports teams, as well as the local industries. This could be a starting point versus sporting a bunch of crap from vendors. Invest in your community, and invest in quality.

You pay too much for burgers and fries that aren't even that good. Just go to red robins where you can get bottomless steak fries and their crack additcing seasoning!

Bob's Burgers & Brew looks like the set of those cheesy sports bars they show in movies like Office Space (17 pieces of flair). They have their overhead fans on warp speed to cool your burger down and flatten your hair against your head and cheesemo songs from the 1980's blaring loud to drown out the laughter from your friends (think Pat Benatar and Tom Petty). Their burgers are quite large, the buns are made out of some kind of extremely cheap flour and not appetizing. The fries are the cheap freezer type. I thought their prices were a little higher than they should be too, you can't find a salad for less than $10 and most burgers were in the $11-12 range. Not a place I would go back to on purpose.
