I was SO excited to find a highly recommended Thai restaurant in the sea of Vietnamese restaurants in Renton. I don't think you understand. I was stoked. After cross-referencing reviews, the menu and posted pictures on Yelp, my husband finally decided on an appetizer of Shrimp Rolls (shrimp that are wrapped in a spring roll wrapper and then deep-fried, like an egg roll), and then we ordered two entrees to share. Phad Kee Mao and Phad Soo Wen. Our waitress (the younger girl) asks us how spicy we want it, I say I don't know - 1 and a half?? And she waits a beat. Stares at me and says "No. One, or Two." I respond with "I guess I'll go with a two then." My husband does the same. So then we receive our shrimp rolls. They look great and we were starving. So we dive right in and... THEY'RE RAW. The shrimp are still gray! They are THAT raw. When I flag down our waitress (the younger girl) she doesn't apologize, scoffs, laughs slightly condescendingly and says that she'll be right back. Our noodle dishes come back, and we're both trepidatious (because we just ate raw shrimp), but the noodles are great. The Phad Kee Mao was my favorite. Very sweet though, with absolutely no heat - no spice whatsoever. The Phad Soo Wen was alright - not the greatest dish, but it was sustenance. The younger guy comes back with our Shrimp Rolls, apologizes, and is super nice. The shrimp though? Crazy overcooked. Erasers are softer. And they smelled so bad. Super fishy. We won't be back. The young waitress is rude, the food is mediocre (when you average things out) there wasn't ANY heat with a two out of a five, and then you know, the whole raw seafood "thing" that could kill us (with the aforementioned unapologetic snarky waitress). PASS. I'll spend my money a little wiser. I'd rather throw my money into a paper shredder and eat seafood out of a dumpster. At least the heat from the sun would cook it a little...

You should make sure and tell them not to go too crazy with the sugar. my dish was so sweet I didn't even take a second bite. Maybe bc it was busy and they were rushing.

I really wanted some good soup or noodles after closing up my store at Southcenter tonight. Looked around to see what was open at the time (which wasn't a lot) & found Mali's. I ordered Tom Kha Gai (2 star) w/ a side of jasmine rice & calimari rings to go - now my tummy is very happy!! Haha The calimari pieces are huge & cooked perfectly, and the soup was exactly what I needed. I can only imagine how amazing the seafood Tom Yum must be (was torn between the two), so I will definately be back again soon to try more on the menu!

Very good good and very friendly staff! I usually order to go since I work so close but when I do get to eat there it's always a pleasure!

Mali Thai is hands down the best Thai food south of Seattle. Always consistent and extremely FAST to serve the food even when busy. Everything on the menu is delicious and priced right. I've tried a lot of thai restaurants all over Seattle and this is easily one of the best.

My favorite Thai place in Seattle area! Bamboo decorated, family owned, friendly, fresh food, large menu, daily specials, and most entrees between $8-12. Discovered this place thanks to Yelp and now I was hooked after my first visit! I've NEVER felt rushed, have been given generous portions, and find the fried rice to be FULL of flavor and plenty of each of the ingredients - not just lots of rice. I'm usually alone and they seat me at one of their booths and give me plenty of time. Friendly service, attentive staff, and authentic and tasty food. You can't go wrong here. Be advised that it can be busy on the weekends, but it's never much of a wait. A truly hidden gem in Tukwila!

Disappointed. Food got bland and watery. Boo.

  • Thinh N.

Amazing food! Horrible service! The waitresses will rush you into ordering and paying. On a good day you will meet a really rude older guy who keeps trying to take your half finished plates. So if you don't mind these things then come here. The food is top notch.

    (3)
  • Lynnette Q.

The Tom Yom here is to die for! My family and I enjoy this place so much, this is our GO TO place when we want Thai food. The service is great! But I do recommend not to go during the weekends, it may get a little to crowded.

Price is fair. Taste is good and so is customer service. I'm not sure if it is just me, but the two times I was there it smelled incredibly fishy, which made me extremely nauseous. It could be because of bad timing. Will definitely try again at a different time of the day to see if the smell is absent.

One of my favorite Thai cuisine in the area! It's location is super convenient for a bit dinner and shopping or shopping and dinner. Love their pineapple fried rice and noodle dishes.

I used to think this place was the best out of all the places around Southcenter Pkwy..... until I ate at Bai Tong. haha. Decided to give this place another try after months, and came out unhappy and thinking I'll go to Bai Tong from now on. I'm a big fan of thai iced coffee... and my, this thai iced coffee tastes like coffee from my house with extra creamer and sugar. I had a papaya salad, it was okay, a bit too salty for my taste, maybe the fish sauce? It's still good, but not THAT good. the saltyness turned me away. Pad see ew is normal, nothing too exciting about it. The appetizer platter which is like crab rangoon and fish battered things in a plate taste like something frozen pulled out and deep fried. Service had been super good a couple years back when I went here often, but now it's gone down. I don't see a lot of the older staff. They were respectful and actually nice, but the staff now are young, on their phones sitting at vacant tables by the register.

  • Paul P.

Their pad Thai is awesome. Friendly staff and reasonably priced! The best in the area! Great deal on lunch specials too!

Great Thai food on a Sunday afternoon. Good prices, great service, not sure what more can be said. Every dish on our table either tasted good and/or looked good. The place is clean, cute, and cheap. The Triple C award....

  • Milani Q.

Best Thai in the Seattle area. We practically live here. The phad kee mao and panang are our favorites, but everything else is great too. The only thing is that there is one server who kills the 5 star vibe. She is extremely unfriendly and abrupt. Maybe she's the bosses daughter and thinks that excludes her from being remotely personable. I'm not sure what's up, but I've got a big enough appetite to get over her big attitude to still eat here often cause the food is superb.

Nice atmosphere restaurant with bamboo decorations around the place and even a little bamboo tree at your table. The service was very good as they came by our table multiple times to ask if we were ready to order even though we had hardly a chance to look over the menu to decide what to eat. It felt like we were rushed to get a move on even though the place wasn't too busy. My gf and I ordered the Pad See Lew and Rard Nah since we both like the large shaped rice noodles and you have a choice of chicken, pork or beef to accompany the noodles. I did like the flavor of both dishes especially the Pad See Lew although I would add more spicyness to it the next I try it again. Not bad prices, but different than what was adverised on there internet site which should be changed soon to reflect what is actually charged at the restaurant.

Service here is quick and friendly. Parking lot is usually mega packed due to all the neighbors sharing the same lot (Red Robin, Best Buy, Party City, Ulta). The thai food here is mainstream. The dishes are straight forward and simple, with great flavors! However, we ordered 5 stars on the phad sew, it was not even spicy at all (Sriracha hurts me) so maybe that was just a fail that day. The tom yum soup had the perfect balance of hot & sour. My favorite is the Crying Tiger beef salad. It's chocked full of fresh herbs & veggies and the chili lime sauce vinaigrette is incredibly refreshing. The real star of the dish is the beef, cooked medium rare and tender to the bite! They toss the beef with toasted ground rice powder which sets it apart, tossed with mint leaves, red onion, cucumber, lettuce, peanuts, and fried shallots! Yum!

Ahh, what can I say about Mali thai that hasn't already been said before? I've been going here for years, ever since my brother first brought me, and we're talking several years back. I love their pad see ew and panang curry which are usually the dishes I opt for anytime I'm here. Although, I had a recent opportunity to try their pad kee mao, and I might go as far to say that could be my new favorite dish. Ever since I had it, I hadn't stopped thinking about it. As far as Thai dishes go anyway...Actually, I lied. I think about it all the time. The atmosphere is nice, and I enjoyed my first ever thai tea here as well! In my opinion? Can't go wrong coming here.

I tried Thai food for first time. I went there last week on lunch and I ordered pad kee Mao chicken which was delicious and food price is very reasonable.

Amazing food, well worth the try. I have had a lot of Thai food in my time on this earth, 95% of the Thai restaurants I have had the displeasure of eating at, were usually not even worth eating more than 2 or 3 bites of the food they offered. When Mail Thai opened, I was there the 2nd day to give it a try as I do all new places. I was so happy about the smell of the place to begin with nothing smelled old or sour, not even now all these years later. My family and I have been coming here for years and have been very happy each time. We have come here for birthdays. holidays. mothers day and simply because it was a craving. I have turned all my friends into love this place because its amazing. Yes, the staff are not very friendly but who cares you aren't eating the staff.

  • Katherine L.

THE BEST THAI PLACE I KNOW! This place is worth the drive from South Seattle. The food is reasonably prices and their pad see ew is too delicious. You can never get tired of it. There service is quick. I wouldn't recommend this place on Friday or Saturday nights cause this place is packed! Also very cozy atmosphere if you want to take a date or celebrate a birthday.

  • Carol X.

the food is usually good but the servers are either really rude or act like they hate their job. like is it necessary to roll your eyes and talk back when I say my dish wasn't that good? tf

  • Tan Lo S.

Cheap, authentic, good portions and good prices. They are either Thai, Lao or Mien. Good service. Takes reservations. Always fresh food. Never had bad service or food. Nice location, nice decor inside. Authenticity is always good. Love it.

One of the best Thai restaurants in the PNW! Love the ambiance of the place and staff is almost always on point. Fave dishes are their crying tiger, pad see ewe, basil fried rice & crab delights! My all time go-to place for Thai!

  • Sonya L.

I went here for lunch with a friend last week. The place was nearly empty at about 11:30 on a weekday. I wasn't too hungry, so I just opted for the fresh rolls with shrimp. They came with two types of sauce - peanut and chili. They were pretty good and I was surprised to get three of them. Seemed like a pretty big portion size to me and I was able to take half home for leftovers. Staff was generally friendly, but we felt a bit rushed along. The bill was on our table before we were even close to being done and we had to-go boxes immediately after our last bites. I would come back, but I'd probably go to Simply Thai across from the mall first.

  • Shawn B.

This is quite possibly my favorite Thai restaurant in the Seattle-metro area. I would even go as far as to put it into my top 10 restaurants in general. I love this place's food so much. Don't mind me as I just list off all of the food that I always order when I'm there: spring rolls, crab delight, coconut prawns, chicken phad thai, fried trout, and most importantly, the phad kee mao, which is the most bomb phad kee mao you will ever eat in your life.

My favorite thai place! Great food their serving sizes are good! Weekends always super busy. They have a great lunch menu too.

  • Nina P.

The food was good. Good portions and prices were decent. However, the customer service SUCKED! I felt like me and my little family were a huge inconvenience. I would go back because I'm a cheap skate.

This may become my go-to take-out Thai place. I've only taken out for dinner. The restaurant hasn't seemed too busy at that time. They have wonderful big spring rolls - the fresh kind, not the fried kind. Comes with a delicious, mildly spicy peanut sauce. Mmmm. And I like their Pad Thai. It's a huge portion and it can make two meals for me. Service is really fast and pretty friendly.

  • Daren D.

Pleasant atmosphere with the music and bamboo decor; nice tones. The tall Thai waitress was warm & friendly. My Specialty Noodles dish was pretty good. The peanut(?) sauce seemed a smidgens more runny than what I'm used to but it still had that similar, distinct flavor which I still liked. I did not like the booth seats, they were so uncomfortable... yet kind of pretty... I would return to try other dishes, their thai iced tea and dessert.

We have been eating at this place for years. They have the best Thai food! We ordered pad thai, pineapple fried rice, garlic chicken, yellow curry, fresh rolls, and fried tofu. Their food is out of this world! The restaurant is beautifully decorated but very tiny. The tables don't have much space if you are there with a family of 4 and a toddler. It is not a kid friendly lay out. Service could be improved. We waited a while to order (and it wasn't busy at all at that time). Once we ordered though, the food came out pretty quick. Regardless of that, their food is worth giving them a try. ;)

I had been to Mali Thai once before a few years ago but for some reason it wasn't very memorable... Went back this past weekend for a friend's birthday dinner and they didn't let us down. Everything we ordered was great and the service was very quick and attentive.

Hands down the best Thai food I've had in Washington. My fiance and I will travel the 45 minutes from Tacoma a couple of times a month just to eat their green curry and pad see ew. YUM!

It has good portions for lunch, don't know about dinner. However, me and my girlfriend went there around 1 PM and we were ordering lunch and normally the lunch is supposedly suppose to come with soup or salad. And when we asked for soup the lady said they were out so we then asked for salad and then she tells us they were also out of salad, so much for complimentary soup or salad. Lunch is suppose to be serbed till 4. The service was good. Lady was nice and attentive for the most part. The food on the other hand was lacking in flavor and authentic Thai food. I have definitely experienced way better Thai food. The lunch combo consists of one scoop of rice, vegetarian pad Thai, an entree and supposedly complimentary soup or salad. The pad thai came out incredibly dark brown and a little bit burnt and lacked flavor. If you've eaten thai food before you know that pad Thai is suppose to be a little bit brown and there is usually a lighter hue to it. We also ordered the Grilled BBQ chicken as an appetizer. It was about 10 bucks so the price was about right. You get two whole chicken pieces. I thought it was really dry and lacked flavor. The only thing that made it edible was the sauce, I had to drench it in the sweet and sour sauce to finish it because it was so dry. The entree was good, it had lots of flavor and was in good portion. It was perfect with the rice. I like to eat things with rice and meat ratio so it was a perfect ratio and has lots of flavor. The only thing I really liked about it was the portion size and the flavor of the entree. So if you are looking for a relatively cheap/ok/fast meal then I say go for it but if you are looking for something with lots of authentic thai flavor then I say go find some place else.

I would give them 2-3 stars. I come here a lot too, I usually order their pad thai, but unfortunately one night that I came here, was my last night coming here. I ordered pad thai and pad see iew, (pad see iew was pretty good), however the pad thai was WAY too sweet than normal! I asked for a manager to ask if I can get another set of pad thai because I think they mixed my pad see iew with my pad thai while cooking, the pad see iew is supposed to be spicy sweet, but the pad thai is not supposed to taste TOO sweet, 1 out of 10, it was a 10 for being too sweet. I was nice about it and said I'm sorry its too sweet I can't eat it, and believe me, I tried too, because I don't like wasting food. Anyways, the manager refused to give me another pad thai and was rude about it, she said no and that if she makes it again it'll be the same. Um, that right there is terrible customer service, especially if you are a so called manager. What a shame. I didn't want to waste it so I just gave it to my boyfriend to eat, he doesn't care if it was sweet or not since he is a fan of panang but he did say it was sweeter than usual. I ended up just eating my pad see iew, but upset on how my situation was handled. All I said was this wasn't cooked right and if I could get another clean batch. I will never come here again.

Mali Thai has to be one of the best Thai restaurants in South Center and scores way up there with Bai Tong which is another one of my favorites! What should you order? - Beef Salad only $8.50 offers a large portion of healthy goodness! - Phad Kee Mao

I visited this place with family for the first time today and it was OK. Pretty small and cozy. Many friendly workers, though I don't remember our waters being refilled. Hmm. We ordered an appetizer, three main dishes and rice for four, all four stars. The food came REALLY quickly. Like five minutes and under quickly. Like suspiciously quickly! The egg rolls we ordered only had veggies, mostly cabbage. I expected meat in it but I guess not. Then we had chicken larb, (they didn't have beef) Tom yum talay soup and some sort of fish dish, trout covered in a sweet sauce. The fish was my absolute favorite!! The others were so and so, wouldn't order again. Even though we ordered four stars it was not spicy AT ALL. We also ordered chicken pad thai to go. Once we arrived home, I tried it and it wasn't that great. A definite plus about this restaurant is that they are open until 10:30PM. Most other thai restaurants close at 9 which can be really depressing because I love me some thai food.

There's something about Seattle's asian restaurants that just totally off to me. I can't seem to find a legit asian place to eat here. I've been to those with 4,5 stars and they all are below average, including this place. I'm not going to talk about the service which didn't give them another star to make it more than one. The food is awful, I've been to many Thai places in Cali and this is the worst. The beef in Phad Thai was dry and no flavor to it. The noodle was way too sweet. Everything comes in big portion. That's another down side. This is totally overrated , I have never been to a city that people overrate restaurants like Seattle. I tried more than 10 pho places here based on Yelp reviews and was too disappointed I don't go to pho place here anymore. Now this is the third Thai restaurant. That's it Seattle. I'm not eating out anymore. If you come from a different state, especially California, I recommend you don't waste your time and money in these Asian restaurants, you will either be very disappointed or will eventually lower your standard and put up with this and fool yourself to think it's good if you don't cook. If you cook, stay away and save some money to have better and healthier meals at home. Or go to American restaurant. I'm serious!

This is my favorite Thai place in the South Seattle area. The food is always delicious and consistent. Always get the fresh rolls - delicious!!! Curry is always amazing and the noodle dishes are great. The service is fast and efficient even at the busiest times or when there is a wait list for a table. I've never been disappointed with the food or service!!!

Solid. Kitschy decorations, but amazing food at great prices. Good spice and wonderfully flavored yellow curry. Don't let the strip mall atmosphere scare you away.

Food is great, service less so. Stopped in for lunch on Friday (05/31/20130) while waiting for cell phone repairs (at Sprint). We decided on ordering appetizers and sharing, rather than a regular plate. Ordered the deep fried shrimp (wrapped in one ton wrappers), the chopped steak (the sauce was terrific) & spring rolls (excellent!) Both waitresses appeared to be approximately the same age, so I'll refer to them as the short one & the taller one. The shorter one did not appear to be happy to be there & was not personable at all. The taller waitress seemed a bit more pleasant and at least smiled when following-up on our food & any other needs we might have had. The place was empty except for the two of us. If the wait staff is any indication or reflection of the ownership, I can understand why the place was empty. To bad, as the food is great.

  • Daniel B.

Good food, the noodle dish we got had excellent taste and color. The ambience was very nice and the service was spot on. Prices were a little steeper than most other thai places. The crab rangoon portion was very good and it was delicious.

  • Christina B.

This place has good food and friendly, fast service, but their flavors are boring and uninteresting. They're simply okay. There wasn't anything I tried that really satisfied my taste buds or made me feel like I really need to return. The garlic buffalo wings were good. My Mali fried rice hardly had any flavor though it was obviously filled with onions and even cilantro. It was still good, but I was expecting more flavor. My boyfriend tried the cashew nut chicken (5 stars of spice? Oh, please) and it, too, was missing that something, that flavor that makes it delicious and memorable. Anyone who compares this place to Bai Tong down the road - lolwut?? You trippin'.

  • Lei L.

This place is our go-to Thai place. Their portions are a bit small for their pad-siew wish it would be a little bigger. We always come and order family style. I highly recommend: Swimming Rama Pineapple Fried Rice Pad Siew Appetizer sampler Great tasting food for decent price. They are also great about splitting the bill up between how many cards you need to pay with. They take reservations but probably for no more than 8-10 people.

Love, love, love this place!! By far, the best Thai place in the Seattle area. We've tried several things on their menu. Our favorites are: Phad Thai w/ Chicken, Garlic Chicken, Phad Prik Khing, Massaman Curry. And don't forget to wash it all down with a Thai Iced Tea. Delicious! I've brought several out-of-state friends and family member to this restaurant. Every single one of them loved it. And when they come back to visit, they request to go back.

Mali is one of my favorite thai restaurant when it's come to salad. So me and my friend order mango fish salad,. It so good !!! Fish is so crispy and mango salad is just perfect ! Service here is nice and friendly as well but the only reason why I can't give them 5 stars is papaya salad is terrible it so sweet ! And very salty and I'm not too sure that did they put some lime in it because I don't test any sour so don't order papaya salad here it terrible but other then that everything good

I need to remind myself to keep my expectations a little more realistic in the suburbs. Mali Thai Cuisine was pretty good, but come on, this place is in a parking lot near a mall. It is not going to be premium stuff but it was good enough. I have been here a couple times and have had nothing but pleasant experiences. I think the thing irking me is that I could not detect any spice with a level 2. I had a strong feeling this was on "American" scale of spiciness and not on an Asian/Thai one. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. Other than that though, the food was good and came out promptly. I am glad they did not pull a "Waiting" since we came in 30 minutes before close. The food was still piping hot and spot on. The lady that served us was regularly checking in on us and deserves praise for high energy at the end of what I am sure was a long shift. For Tukwila Thai food, this place is pretty damned good.

I'm by no means a Thai food connoisseur, but recently I discovered that I like Tom Yum Soup! I wanted to try it from a Thai restaurant and I've heard that Mali Thai is a good choice. I wasn't disappointed. The restaurant was pretty busy during lunch, which was a good sign. I ordered Tom Yum Soup, five stars, with chicken to go and waited for 10 to 15 minutes before my big container of soup was ready. The pieces of chicken were big and there were a lot of mushrooms in mine. I couldn't finish the whole thing so I had half for lunch and half for dinner. The soup was really good - so spicy, sour, and flavorful!

My favorite Thai restaurant in the area. They have a wide selection on their menu and are very accommodating with people who have special wishes. Their iced tea is amazing as is everything else I have had. They are right down from my work and a favorite spot for lunch.

I went there with my sisters and cousins for a girls night dinner, five of us in total. They sat us in the middle of the restaurant which was a little awkward but necessary due to our "large group". We tend to laugh a lot and be generally happy people and it felt like we irritated them by being so giggly. Food was wonderful! Service is what's lacking. First, we ordered two appetizers one came about 30 seconds before our meals, literally walked out together, the other came when we were about half way through our meal. None of us even wanted it or ate it at that point. When ordering we were all asked if we wanted "brown or white rice with our meal" leading to the assumption it was included, generally when given an option that's what's implied. However it was not, we were all surprised when we were each charged for it even though we were only brought three large scoops of rice. Not that big of a deal but when we expressed concern there was no apology made for the confusion or anything offered to compensate (only charge for 3 things of rice, no charge for teh appetizer etc) and the waitress basically ignored our concern. Generally appetizers come out before a meal not during, I feel they should've asked us if we still wanted it when our meals came out first. The lack of interest in making our group happy will keep me from going here again. If I am in desperate need of immediate food I will order something to go and avoid giving an unnecessary and undeserved tip. I'm a service girl, good food can be found many places, good service is rare.

Probably the best Thai restaurant in the South Center-Renton area. That's not saying a whole lot, but it sure does filter out all the mediocre to bad thai restaurants in the area. Everything I've tried here; the tom yum, phad kee mao, phad thai and phad see yew were all great. Service was good and the prices very reasonable. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good thai in South Center.

I was surprised that non of the dishes came with rice. What kind of asian restaurant is this?? the pad thai was blunt. The curries were ok. the jasmine rice was over cooked. it was all clammed. nah, I'd not go back. There is better food out there!

I have been here few times within the past two years and early on, the food was ok. It has been almost a year since I have not been here and I have to say, tonight was awesome! Here is what happened, I walked in, saw quite a large group of people and assumed I will have to wait for a while. But after a minute the waitress got us a seat. I ordered three things and after 10 minutes food came out one by one. But one of them the waiter brought us fried rice. I told him I think I ordered a stir fry version and without hesitation he took it back. The owner comes by and tells asks me to if I ordered fried rice and I told him that I thought it was stir fry and told him I will take the fried rice as I didn't look at the menu thoroughly and it was my mistake. He smiled, and told me not to worry as the stir fry will come in 5 minutes. And it did. And it tasted good, along with all the other food. There is one waiter there (shaved head and looked toned) who was awesome all the way. Amazing service from all of them, great food, great price (cheaper then the other one I go to) and I appreciate the owner changing my meal without complaint! =)

Great service, decent prices and portions, best in town! The Combo Appetizer platter was good, though the cod could've used a little more seasoning. Crab Delight was the best part. Pad-see-Iew was deliciously delicious. The yellow curry was also really good. My favorite Thai restaurant in Tukwila..!!

Decided to try a new Thai place while I was near Southcenter and didn't want the same ol' Racha or Simply Thai. Went with Mali Thai next to Red Robin on Southcenter Pkwy for some take-out. My wife and I were immediately greeted and invited to a front counter seat to look at a menu and decide what we wanted. We tried the Chicken Satay, Thai BQ chicken w/sweet & sour sauce, and Pineapple Fried Rice w/chicken 3 stars. The Chicken Satay was delicious and they gave us ample Peanut Sauce and the little cucumber salad that came with it was good as well. I wish I could say the same for the other dishes. The BQ chicken was very bland, dry, tasted frozen and felt like it was microwaved. The chicken in the fried rice also had the same rubbery texture and for 3 stars it was NOT SPICY. My wife tried it and she only ever gets 1 star and said that it was not spicy, either. I am giving Mali Thai 3 stars because the service was wonderful for just going in and ordering take-out. We even got water while we waited and we were thirsty so that was nice, but the food was really bland overall.

The veggie stir fry dish I ordered was .... good. It was fine. The brown rice cost an extra $1.50 I think - which seems a bit extreme. This place is good, but go to Bai Tong if you can.

I love this place for thai food. Its reallly good at about $10 a plate. I like to go here with my girlfriend and we usually order the panang curry, phad thai or kee mao noodles, and an appetizer. can never go wrong with the chicken satay. with this kind of order, we always end up with left overs. Service has always been fast and friendly. best thing is that they have little spice jars that they can bring to your table if you ask, that way we can order a 3 star for the woman, and I can still kick mine up to a 5+ Hands down, best thai food in the area!

Food came out quickly and the service was almost too good. There were different servers checking on us often, almost as though to make sure we were in and out of the restaurant as quick as possible. We weren't even offered a dessert menu or options to have dessert or coffee. Not a good place to talk and eat dinner. It's loud and the staff is over checking. We had a pineapple fried rice, garlic wings, and some Mali Thai boneless fries chicken on top of salad that wasn't very good due to the amount of fried breasting/dough on the chicken.

I like this little Thai joint. The portions are good enough to feed both my boyfriend and I. The flavors are good enough for those who haven't had real Thai food. The atmosphere is very cozy, and reminds me of a shack I once ate at behind a temple back home. This was my second time visiting Mali Thai & I have never written them a review...so here it goes as my 2nd experience. I ordered the crab wontons, the wrapper was not enough deep fried all the way. When I ripped it apart, the dough was still....raw. UGH. I didn't mean to leave like 2 pieces of it left, but my boyfriend was SO hungry he didn't even care. So I just told them that it wasn't cooked all the way....but they were nice enough to deep fry some more so I guess they could keep the food on the bill. Haha, I don't blame em. I NEVER EVER order Phad Thai at a Thai restaurant because I know the whole story about how all phad thai taste like ketchup, chewy ass noodles, or lack of SOMETHING... but I gave it a try, but this time with shrimp. They gave a generous amount of shrimps, beansprouts and other vegetables were fresh. The noodles were not chewy at all. I liked it a lot to be honest. Speaking of it makes me want to go back Hahaha Boyfriend ordered the usual red curry with chicken. Had to order 3 stars for him cos he's such a wimp lol but it was pretty good. Fried rice was good too. Reminded me of my moms fried rice. The service was really good too. The girls kept checking up on us and were really nice. Until some other waitress came in and acted a lot more bossier than others. Good food, cozy atmosphere, good service. Would come again! ^_^ BTW-- THEY NEED TOD MUN!! TOD MUN IS THE BEST.

Great lunch spot if you're in the area. They have a full menu as well as a lunch menu. I ordered off the lunch menu and it was great! You get a small bowl of soup with your meal and each dish is served with pad Thai too. I had panang curry and it was just as good as other places I've had it. Spiciness was right on too. We also ordered the fresh spring rolls which were yummy too! I'd definitely go back!

i came back because a friend insisted that we go because he loves eating there. but i dont see why.. from the last time i've been to Mali, i can say that the servers were a lot nicer and attentive, so i was very grateful for that! but the food was the same. i got the pad thai and the chicken was cut into huge chunks, just like before and the noodles were just plain. if you want some quality thai food, head up to Thai 65 at the Landing. it's my favorite place to get some Thai food, which never disappoints!!

This place is excellent as Thai food in America goes. The good: -Super fast service (you sit, you order, you receive) in ten minutes time -Free soup brought immediately during lunchtime -Extremely good soups, thick tasty curries, fresh noodles, excellent stir fries, even the fried food is good -Friendly employees with honest recommendations -Awesome interior lighting and decoration The bad: -Lunch hours and weekend nights can get very busy, sign in at the front -This is the only Thai restaurant at which I wouldn't suggest the Pad Thai, as it smells very odd and the taste doesn't make up for the smell The ugly: -You'll keep going back for more!

Food was good and it seemed reasonably priced. My beef was that they didn't ask how spicy we wanted our food. We like it hot so getting rather mild curry wasn't especially pleasing. I was also a bit cheesed that they charge for rice. Most Thai food is eaten with rice and just comes with your meal. Their booths are a bit uncomfortable (no butt padding) and there's a weird height between the seat and table (I think the table was too high for the height of the seat).

My honey and I LOVE this place. When we have a date night this is one of our top picks of places to go. The food is the best in town, and the service is always over the top. They are friendly, attentive, they have the best Thai Tea on the Planet!!!! Their prices are very reasonable, and their portions are well worth the price. Give them a try and you will not be unhappy. Thank you

I was happy with the Phad See Ew at 2 stars, but my cousins ordered a few items that were 3 stars that tasted like there were zero stars. Service was great and we didn't have to wait to be seated for our party of 6. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here but if you're in the area, it'll do.

Two bucks for a side of rice. I mean, really. Alright, that's the most negative thing I have to say about this place, though. It's a cute little spot in the strip mall. Prices posted seemed decent, so I went in with my group of 6 friends, and we, surprisingly, were immediately seated for dinner on a Friday night. Imagine that. Food falls in the $8-12 per entree range. It's dim and inviting at night. Probably looks a lot less attractive in the daylight, but the air was filled with the scent of good Thai noms. Food was brought out on family style platters, and so that really seemed the way to go. Again, I got charged for a side of rice. I mean, really. But 2 entrees and an app ordered family style would be a good way of sampling. Phad Thai tasted very Thai, said our token authentic Thai dude in our group. Food did lean to the sweet side of the seasoning spectrum, particularly the phad see ew. Though the phad see ew did have a very rich, deep flavor. The prawns prik paow was well done, and the fried rice was actually a stand out in taste. Spring rolls were good, while the sweet and sour dipping sauce was lacking, the peanut sauce offering was very good. Black bean rice pudding with coconut, also very tasty. Those seeking a transcendent Thai experience, maybe look elsewhere. But otherwise, this place is pretty good. :)

3 Stars (because the atmosphere was nice, but the food was just okay). I've gone here about 3 times and tried to give it another chance each time. I just believe the foods here is TOO SWEET! Maybe it's because I'm more of a salty kind of person, but still, every time I come here to order its just ALWAYS too sweet for my liking. I usually order the Phad Se-Ew (Phad Se-Iew in this case, which I thought it was funny since it looked like Lew... Yeahhh... this is a "you had to be there situation." hahaha) ... too sweet. We also got the Swimming Rama, which was again too sweet, the fried rice there was alright, not as sweet but sweet enough. The other times I've tried a couple of the stir fry dishes, and again it was sweet.

Chicken cashew is my usual order at every Thai restaurants and the one at Mali Thai was descent. More cashews than chicken was fine with me but a bit too much vegetables. I barely touched my red peppers and carrots that it looked like I didn't eat it but I did. I promise. Oh, and a bowl of steam rice is optional with the dish. Which, I find weird since the dish is simply just chicken and vegetables so, by itself is not filling. They also serve curry with rice as an option as well and that should be eaten with rice anyway. Otherwise it's just soup, but this is not to blame this restaurant. Other places do the same. The service was friendly-like. I say that because the gal that served my friends and I, didn't really make eye-contact and seem like she would rather be somewhere else, did come by every so often to refill our water. And she didn't mind that after she cleaned our table, we stayed until closing time chatting away wanting nothing else but water. Also, she was willing to split our bills with no attitude, which we forgot to mentioned when first ordering. So, Mali Thai isn't "wow" but it wasn't "eh". It was enough for wanting simple Thai food on a weekday out.

Upon walking in we were immediately seated. The benches are too far away from the tables because of the design of the bench. The food was well seasoned. I ordered a 3/5 on the hot scale but it was mildly hot in my opinion. The food still tasted good though. They also only give you a little bit of rice compared to the size of your dish. There was only enough for half of my dish. We had multiple different servers which I don't like because I have to keep reminding them what I am drinking. Overall the food was great, the atmosphere was poorly lit but cute, and the service was a 4/5 for me. The food came out really quickly though.

If you're looking for a nice thai restaurant with great food and excellent food, this is the place for you. Mali Thai has become my go to restaurant whenever I'm in the Tukwila area, one big plus about them is how fast they get their food out. They get your appetizers out to the tables with in 5 minutes. So if you're ever in Tukwila, do yourself a favor and go to Mali Thai!

i'm only giving Mali Thai one star because that's the lowest that Yelp would allow me to. ARGH. this review is only for to-go orders. i am utterly disappointed and disgusted with Mali Thai. i USED to like this place, but it has gone downhill and i WON'T be back. i ordered a chicken pad thai and the BBQ chicken to go. when i got there, as i was getting ready to pay, the lady says "chicken satay and BBQ chicken right?" i said, "uh no, i ordered the chicken pad thai." then the lady goes, "no, you told me chicken satay." listen lady, i'm PRETTY sure i know what i ordered so i don't need your accusations of what i did or did not say. so she gives me attitude and say, "fine, you'll have to wait for 10 minutes." Fine, so be it... so 5 minutes later the food comes out and she packed it and i was good to go, right? hell to the MF-ing no, when i got home and opened the container, what did i see? freakin` fried rice with NO MEAT. really, Mali Thai, really? i didn't think i had to open the container and check because how the eff did you manage to messed up the order TWICE in one night? wow. so my advice to those ordering to-go from Mali Thai, if you must, check your order because these people will cook whatever the hell they want and give it to you.

I guess Thai food is the food I most often like to eat when I go out, it's my food of choice. It is also the type of food I tend to be most critical of. Service - The service here is very good, the people are nice, they rate their dishes and the spiciness is accurate Ambiance - I like the ambiance here, has the typical thai decorations, but it is done very well. The tables are nice, the walls have good decorations. Food - Excellent food, love the drunken noodle, the pad thai, an the tom yum soup is done very well. I liked this place a lot. In total I really like this place, and give it a rare 5/5 for a thai place would go back!!

This is hands down, my favorite place to go for Thai food. Their food is delicious and the service is great, as well. I always get the Phad Thai here, and not once has it disappointed me. Their pineapple fried rice is very good as well.

I think they hired a new chef or did something because their food has gone from good to great in the last year. Dollar for dollar - one of the best places for lunch Thai. Lunch for 2 is roughly $20 + tip. Pretty hard to beat! Great vegetarians options as well.

Some of the best Thai food I've had outside of Thailand. We had panang curry and drunken noodles and they were both made with high quality fresh ingredients. If you like Thai food you owe it to yourself to try Mali Thai out.

I have gone here a bunch of times with the last time being today for lunch. the lunch special are great and the prices are cheap. I had the combination of pad thai and cashew chicken and it was lovely. I highly recommend going here especially for anyone that is looking for somewhere to go that is quick and delicious while shopping in southcenter.

Really good pad thai but skip the Mali Thai appetizer plate as it's just a bunch of fried stuff and not really interesting.

I dream about this place! I've eaten a lot of thai food in big cities all over the US in my lifetime, and I have to say that Mali Thai is, hands down, my favorite! Their food is consistently fresh, made with high quality ingredients and always served piping hot! The ambiance is very calming and homey. And the restaurant and bathrooms are always spic and span! Though you can get pad thai anywhere---there is something special about the way it is prepared at Mali Thai. Their sauce is much more robust and flavorful (and a smidge different---though I can't place the ingredient) than what most Thai places prepare. The thought of this dish literally makes my mouth water! Every time I'm visiting my family in Seattle, my mom takes me to eat here because she knows how much I love it! We usually share the pad thai, basil chicken and tom yum kah soup--and always have leftovers to take home. The staff of this family owned restaurant are always helpful and very kind. My family and I have been eating at this restaurant off and on since it opened about 10 years ago. My little sister (who's not so little any more---26---WOW... I feel old...) had her first job at the Coldstone Creamery that was next door. When Mali Thai opened up she decided to go in on her lunch break one day. From that point on, I think she ate the pad thai for lunch pretty much every day she had work. The owners got to know her too, and would frequently give her extra little egg rolls and things when she came in. As I said, this place is amazing and consistently good. I've been here many times over the years and they've never let me down. Can't wait for my next visit!

Like this place a lot. It used to be my favorite until I discovered Bai Tong about two minutes away in the old Toys R Us shopping complex. I like the atmosphere, and I get the whole trying to make you feel like you're in thailand thing, but the benches are very uncomfortable & I really don't want to "rough-it" when i'm eating out. The food is good though.

I've been to Thailand twice and this is by far the best Thai food since I've had since then. I always go with a friend and we order the Phad Kee Mao and the Phad See Ew - the combination of these two dishes (the sweet & spicy) are delicious!! Give it a try, you won't regret it. Since then, I've moved but I am going back to Seattle next week and guess where my first stop is going to be?? Yep, you guessed it. Mali Thai.

Warning! Do not go here if you are visibly pregnant or are a woman with a round belly. My husband and I stopped in here for a late-ish dinner tonight after going to Best Buy. We were eating our papaya salad and pad thai when a waitress/possibly the owner stopped by our table. The following conversation ensued: Waitress: Ready for the labor pain? Me: Huh? Oh, yeah. I'll get through it. (Smiles confusedly). Waitress: I was in labor for 2 days with my daughter. Me: Hmmm. Waitress: When are you due? Me: First week of August. Waitress: Wow, so a month or so. How much weight have you gained? Me: Umm.. about 26 pounds. [N.B. Recommended gain is 25-35 pounds.] Waitress: Wow, have you been eating a lot of sweets? Me: No, not really. Waitress leaves. My husband and I do the eye-roll/head shaking thing. Waitress comes back twice and asks if we want dessert. Overall, food was decent, though :P We did feel rushed by wait staff to leave.

Overall it was good. The service kinda sucked. The older man was nice. The teenage girl was terrible. She clearly didn't want to be there. I'd go back for the food. Not so much for the "service." I had the beef and veggies or something like that :) and my husband got this chicken veggie thing :D They don't skimp on flavor like some weak niblet thai restaurants. They don't mess around ^^ The place is very well decorated :) It's very private and romantic. I'd suggest u go with 4 people or less. Anymore than that is a hassle. It' would be awkward sitting in the middle of the restaurant where everyone can see you. I don't think kids are the best companions to bring to such a mellow place. :)

Favorite Thai place ever! I've been going here for about 6 years now and it has yet to disappoint. Whether it be dine-in or take out the food is always delicious. They're prices are really cheap for the amount and quality of food you get. I got full meals (with rice) for 5 people and it was barely over $60. Service is always wonderful, super nice and helpful. I've never had a bad experience eating here and will continue to do so. I think I may head out for some lunch right now!

Just tried to walk in at 9:02 and an employee greeted me at the door... To tell me I can't be seated... I can only order to go. There were other customers in the restaurant... And what appeared to be a manager or server was seated having a drink. They're "open" sign was on and printed on the door "open until 9:30". HORRIBLE customer service.

As much as I love Thai cuisine, its food is not enough to cover the bad experience with their service. It was not busy when 4 of us came in. We got greeted, seated and got our water right away, which is nice. But here comes the bad part: we have not even touched the menu yet and a waitress came by asking if we were ready. I replied not yet. Then we picked up the menu and started surfing. I have not even gone through half the menu and another different waitress came by, asking us to order. I said we have not looked through yet! So I and my friends started discussing what we felt like having, and about less than 5 minutes after that, another different waitress came by, asking us to order!!! so....it is NOT common sense that when people are still looking at their menus they are not ready!?!?!? We were all very annoyed by then. We then decided to have some curry, some sweet sour pork, some pad thai and tom yum soup. Food came out quite quickly and to be honest, it was good but not the best Thai I've ever got. The waitresses are still very eager to check if the dishes are empty. My friend was literally still forking the sweet sour pork and she asked if she could take it away!?!?! By the end of our dinner, we knew that we won't be back. Please take a chill pill and stop putting customers' a$$ on fire...!

Thought the food was ok but not as good as other places. It was busy and I guess a lot of people love Thai, especially with 2 other popular yelper Thai restaurants (bai thong and simply thai). I'd rank them the following: 1. Bai Thong 2. Mali Thai 3. Simply Thai We did try the beef panang, they did charge us for rice (seriously, that's annoying), the pad thai was ok and forgot what else we got... well i guess it wasn't that memorable. Shall we come back? probably not. Next!

I really like Mali Thai. It is one of the best Thai restaurants that I have been to and I have been to many. I would go here over Simply Thai any day. Their pad see eww is really delicious and I like that it is spicy when I ask for 5 stars. Some places say 5 stars but I feel like it is only a 2 but I might be bias because I like things super spicy. They have really good red curry and fried rice. I like their menu overall and the prices are decent. I deducted a star because I don't like their service. I feel like they are rude and rush you when you are trying to enjoy your entrée. They are good however at refilling your water. I drink a lot of water so that is a plus for me.

Straight to the review. I ordered: 1) Coke ($1.75) - came halfway through lunch with an apology 2) Pad See lew ($8.50) - This was very sweet. It tasted like burnt sugar with noodles. 3) Yellow curry ($8.95) - The flavor was good although it was sweeter than most yellow curries i've had. The potato was a little hard where I had to stab it with my fork. This place seem to be on the sweeter side. The staff could use a little improvement. They forgot my soda but gave me an apology. I also asked for an extra bowl, which never came and I didn't want to ask for it again since the girl did snap at me with a "what?" when I asked for the condiment tray.

I've been here several times. The food is pretty good, and the service is usually ok. The ambiance is kind of cute I guess, considering its in a strip mall. I definitely recommend the Pad See Iew. One of us gets it every time we go, and my mouth waters with every bite. I would not recommend the duck curry unless you don't mind picking a lot of small bones out of your mouth. Also, I was very displeased with the service last time I came here. We were starving so we ordered an appetizer and two entrees. We were wondering what was taking so long for the appetizer to come out when the waitress came over and said one of our entrees was ready, but the appetizer wasn't done. She didn't apologize, and she suggested either we could forget about the appetizer or they could throw out the entree and bring us the appetizer first. We agreed to the second choice, but she must have misunderstood us because then she brought out the entree. I don't know if it was a mistake on the part of the waitress or the kitchen, but I definitely feel they could have handled that better. I will go back here because the Pad See Iew is so incredible, but it will probably be a little while.

It's the best Thai food on the south end. Good prices, good place for lunch or dinner. Service was great, my water never had a chance to be empty. You can get all the traditional Thai-American food here like Phad Thai or Swimming Rama, and it's fine, but branch out into some of the other dishes and you'll discover a lot more flavors and dishes you'll love here.

My first meal at Mali Thai was their lunch combo when they first opened and I used to work near there. The combo was very filling and so it was definitely a good deal. Their Phad Thai is almost always moist and not super dry. Whenever I try a new Thai restaurant, I kind of use Phad Thai as a test of how good their "cooking skills" are... Their deep-fried menu items are always crispy and tasty. Usually, my parents are picky about Thai food because my mom used to travel to Bangkok but they liked Mali Thai because the food is always delicious and filling. We've never experienced a bad service and we've gone in during busy and non-busy hours. Maybe we're just lucky to have happier employees that day/night? I just wished their water didn't smell like Jasmine sometimes LOL.

I'll start with saying that the Basil Fried Rice is the yummiest! I don't care for anything else on the menu, I've tried several things. I ordered some pad Thai. When they brought it out it looked delicious, steam rising from the plate with fresh garnish surrounding... BUT it was at that very moment a strange smell came across my nostrils. "what is that smell?" I asked myself. I look around with a disturbed look on my face, wondering if it could be coming from the bathroom. I mean I hate to say this but it smelt like hot ass. As I curled my noodles around my fork and lifted it up to take a bite, it was then that I discovered that smell was coming from my Pad Thai. I felt bad about sending it back but I had to... every-time I tried to take a bite, I got disturbing visuals. I also ordered a sample platter of all sorts of seafood but it was no better than something you fried from the frozen section at the grocery store and it was hard from overcooking. I will always go back for the Basil Fried Rice :)

I liked the Angel Wings a lot. Wow,that thing was big. I loved the sauce that came with it, but I would make the sauce a little more spicier. I liked the bamboo around the room. I love spicy stuff. Not too spicy, though. Awesome. Bye bye!

I'm so blessed to live in seattle where there are so many great thai places! I love their phad kee mao, the mango fish, yellow and panang curry and their phad prik king. a lot of people are phad see ew fans...no no no phad kee mao is way better! try it :). their phad thai is pretty delish as well. i think the only reason why i didn't give it a 5 star is because the meat seems to be a little scarce in their portions, particularly their stir fry. but still their food is so yums it's definitely worth it.

I actually enjoy their fried rice here a lot has bold flavor what you expect in a Thai dish. As well as their Phad Sew Ew. Curry does taste a little bit water downed so I have avoided that every time as well as anything on their dish that contains fish, taste extremely fishy.

This place can either be a hit or a miss. Lately, it's been a big miss. I always order Pad Thai. When I first ate here it was good and the customer service was great... however now, the Pad Thai isn't as flavorful, plus their customer service isn't too friendly. They don't check up on you nor refill your water when you're with a large crowd. Thumbs down.

Mali Thai is the best Thai restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of eating at, and I have done so many many times. Strange that I would feel this way about a restaurant located in a strip mall in Tukwila, but every experience I have had is superb. It is usually moderately busy, but they are well staffed and friendly. My 3 top menu items are their Crab Delight (crab wontons with cream cheese and sweet chili sauce) which, as an appetizer, does exactly it's job in preparing my taste buds for the main course. I absolutely adore their take on Tom Kha Gai and I use it to rate all other Tom Kha experiences at other restaurants. The broth is rich and flavorful, the taste of lemongrass is perfectly balanced with it's 4-star spice level. Deliciously cooked mushrooms and chicken...too good. I am just as fond of their Pad Thai. Zesty and busting with flavor. Presented beautifully, the noodles are perfectly moistened with the right amount of sauce. The garneshment of bean sprouts, carrot strips, and lime add to it's decadent texture and flavor. The wait staff is friendly, available, and ready with water refills. Can't ask for more than that. Amazing food, friendly and fast service, generous portions, top quality, available seating, affordable pricing...what else could you ask for? I make special trips to Mali Thai and will stop for lunch if I am at all close to South Center. Delicious.

I had the duck curry , tiger crry salad and fried wonton. Food was good exept the tiger, its a big too sour for me. Love the presentation of the food. The server might need some more training especially if they dont even know whats the special of the day

I love Thai food and have eaten at many a Thai food restaurants in the Puget Sound area. The food here is served fresh and full of flavor. Service is a bit slow and right to the point. I have eaten here more than 20 or so times now and the food has always been consistently great. I think that the food here is one of the best for fast food Thai in the South Center area.

Been here four times- twice at lunch and twice at dinner. No matter when I go, they're "out of soft tofu." Either stock more or stop lying and tell me you don't carry it. Sorry, I just don't like being lied to. The food is okay. I've only had their phad thai (with fried tofu) and it passes the "marginal" test. The service is decent- lots of people filling your water- but they never seem very happy, they're always overwhelmed and busy (which isn't their fault). Getting chopsticks from someone always proves to be a chore. The fresh rolls are a little pricey- three for $7. Most places charge $3 for two. I don't know that I'd come back voluntarily, but if someone suggested it, I wouldn't say no. There is definitely better Thai food places with better service and better prices.

So this was my first time here- and immediately I was excited because there were many people of Asian descent in the restaurant eating the food. We ordered beef salad & curry chicken- and they were both very good. I also ordered spring rolls- but asked them to take them back because they were just full of cabbage and flavorless. I really wanted to try the fried fish or some other authentic dishes- but my friend doesn't like to step out of the box too much. I will definitely go there again (maybe by myself) so I can try some of their other menu items.

I don't have Thai food often, so I'm no expert on the food/can't comment on that. The female staff was helpful and nice but there were two or three different people serving/helping us, sometimes asking the same question. I liked its ambience though. I may try again to gain a better perspective.

This was my first time here with my boyfriend- he recommended it. We ordered Pad See Ew, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Cashew Chicken which were all very delicious; HOWEVER, the Cashew Chicken literally had no cashews! The picture on the menu showed the dish loaded with delicious crunchy cashews (hence the name cashew chicken), but when the dish came out I was a little concerned and after further discovery with my fork I realized that they had failed to add the most critical part of this particular dish. I would have given them 5 stars, but because they messed up on one of our dishes and never asked us how our food was, or if everything was good, I am giving them a 4. If im ever up in Tukwila again I must say I will go back because the food was great and the price was good too- about $8.95 per dish- but next time I will insist when I order Cashew Chicken that they dont forget the cashews!

This place is not THAT great. People calm the fuck down. I ordered prawn phad se ew from here and even though it was fast, the whole thing looked like the cook said fuck it and just threw in the whole bottle of soy sauce. I mean it was the darkest phad se ew I've ever had in my life. I couldn't finish it. Decided to give it another try w/ the bf. We had like three different servers (I don't know why but ok....) I think one of them slammed our water glass onto the table like she hated me. ( I didn't do anything to her I swear! =D ) Bf ordered the cashew ck which was pretty good and I ordered the yellow curry which was alright. I asked if it came w/ rice and she said no. I was flabbergasted. How the fuck do you eat curry w/o fuckin rice?!? What the fuckin fuck dude?!? Ugh. Stoooooopid. Why the fuck would you charge for rice when the dish is SUPPOSED to be served with it? That's like ordering fries and charging someone for salt or ketchup. Like seriously?!? When it came time to pay, no one brought us the check so I had to go up there. One of the girls (she looked about 15) was on the phone and when I said I wanted to pay she pulled the "one-minute" move on me, index finger included. That's a nice way to treat a PAYING customer. I needed to pee so I kinda saw my bill that she was too distracted to hand over to me since she was too busy on the phone so I just threw some money down and went to pee. I mean w/ service like that, she's lucky I didn't dine and dash =D

This place gets crowded on Friday's and Saturday's. It's all the southcenter shoppers that don't want to eat at the mall food court. It has a fun decor...reminds me of Rainforest Cafe. The service and food is good. It's the only Thai/Asian restaurant in this particular shopping complex. It's family style dining at night so get ready to share different dishes at your table.

Mali Thai is great-we eat there about once a month with my family. My parents specifically love this place, and no more than 2 years ago they wouldn't have touched Thai Food with a 10 foot pole. Mali Thai serves all of the usual Thai cuisine you would expect, good casual atmosphere, and a very friendly staff. They always welcome my family, and never ask us to leave when we sit well past our meal has been over. The Panang Curry is delicious, great sauce, perfect spice-definitely above average. Overall it's exceeded my expectations time after time. We keep coming back because the people that work there are super nice to my parents, even when they can't pronounce anything on the menu after having eaten there 50 times. :)

Was surprised to see so many people here on a late afternoon. Food was tasty. The restaurant looks better on the inside than you would guess from the outside. Service was efficient, but not overly friendly. Pad thai was pretty tasty, a little on the sweet side. They have a 5 star heat scale but if you like heat, go ahead and move up to 4 or 5. In the real world, this would be a 3 star restaurant. In the yelp world, 3 star restaurants are usually dogs, so I gave this place 4 stars. they charge for rice. ugh.

Some of the best red curry chicken I have ever tried. I order lunch special #9 about once a week. It's amazing and a pretty decent price. They have quick service and the best pad Thai I have ever tried. And I hate pad Thai. I love it here!

Mali is a great alternative to the corporate chains that riddle Southcenter and Strander Blvds. Located in the same parking lot as Best Buy, Mali is convenient from most places in Southcenter. The decor is a little tacky, but it is still relaxing after navigating the endless maze of big stores. We ordered the Chicken baitai, which is like getting 6 individually wrapped Christmas presents, but instead of wrapping paper it's deep fried banana leaves with delicious chicken inside. The Phad Thai is pretty good, as well as the pineapple fried rice, which when ordered with 4 stars, had a perfect amount of heat. Check this place out next time you are shopping down at Southcenter!

BEST THAI FOOD AROUND SOUTHCENTER! pros: - BEEF phad thai. - red curry - PEANUT SAUCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - chicken satay - parking is easy - GREAT SERVICE!!!! - they always fill up your water. - lunch menu is a steal! entree +phad thai+ rice + soup for about $9. con: - lunch menu should be available during the weekend and on holidays.

Decor - Compared to other thai restaurants, Mail gets a solid five stars for this price point. Tastefully decorated, good lighting, and comfortable chairs. Service - Top notch. Friendly and expedient. Between the bus boy, the expeditor and our server, we had someone coming by our table every five minutes or so to refill a drink, pick up our plates, bring us more rice, etc. Food - Yellow Curry w/tofu and Phad Kee Mow w/chicken. This is where they lost a star. The curry was 4-star and should have been pretty spicy, but it was pretty average in heat. The sauce was also too thin. The Phad Kee Mow on the other hand was damn near perfect, and not dry at all. Nice work!

It has been said that communication is the key to a lasting relationship - I think this can also be applied to a business relationship and Mali Thai "mali-functioned" by not being upfront with me. Décor: Sort of Bali Hai scheme: pleasant bamboo, thatch ceiling tiles, and basketweave pattern on bench seating. Spot lighting could make this a romantic setting except for the noise from the waitstaff yelling orders to the kitchen. Food: Slightly contrived for Thai food, I think the dishes have been modified to please the palates of this South Seattle suburb. My Pad Prik Khing ($8.50) which traditionally only has a protein, green beans, red curry paste, and kaffir lime leaves was morphed into protein, red curry paste, regular lime juice, green beans, baby corn, and scallions. Don't get me wrong: I'm a fan of baby corn and scallions but I was expecting a simple well-prepared dish rather than a super-sized entrée with extra ingredients. Service: Friendly, prompt, and relatively cheerful. Asian restaurants usually get dinged for lackluster service bordering on "bored robotic" and typically carried out without eye contact or follow up. The waitstaff were all engaging in taking the orders, delivering the meal, refilling water, and asking if things were good. So, why the "meh" 2-star rating? Simply put: for deceptive trade practices. The entrée is clearly marked on the menu and on their online website as $8.50 - no problems there since it is consistent. But, what annoyed me (days later as I write this) is the fact that there was an added $1.25 charge on my bill. Upon asking what the charge was for, the cheerful waitress informed me that it was for rice. No mention on the menu, no mention at order placement, and only mentioned when I asked about it. Since I wasn't going to eat the entrée without rice, I think the real price of it was $9.75 and should be listed as such. That or disclose this added fee up front. Let's be honest with each other, Mali Thai, and start our relationship on solid ground. Why won't you let me love you?

Great service. Food comes out fast and good price. The server are always around and asking if you need anything, alot of resturant lacks this. The has good flavors, anyone who love thai food or haven't tried it would like it.

I really like this place, I've eaten here frequently for a few years, but I only give it 3 stars because the service can range wildly from pretty good to pretty bad. I've learned to never order anything to drink unless its to go because they never remember to bring it to you even when you remind them. Only a couple times have they screwed up my food order, once being today, but even though they brought me food that wasn't what I ordered, I ate anyway cuz it was pretty good. I mentioned it and the girl was actually very apologetic and willing to get me all new food, even though I'd already eaten half of the dish. I declined and just asked for condiments to flavor it some.

I know my review is kind of lower then others. So let me explain why... The Food there is great... BUT the servers/ waitress are horrible and RUDE.. They Dont Even have name tags for me to even put on them BLAST. I dont get greeted, was it cause of my race? Because their were a asian couple after me and the waitress were super nice.. 2nd they rush I mean can I look at the menu before rushing me to order.. It was not a great experience, My husband and I will never go back again.. And that was sad.

Well, I don't know how to tell if Thai food is good Thai food, but I know tastes good to me. And Mali Thai always tastes good to me. When I worked in the Southcenter (then Seatac, then South Park) area(s), this place was so convenient and wonderful, and even now, working in Eastlake and living on the Hill, it's so worth an occasional trip. Like, on random Saturday evenings when a craving hits. There are things about it that aren't that great. It's in a strip mall. It's in the strip mall in Southcenter that seems to be the hardest to escape from the parking lot. It's next to an Ulta which carries Smashbox, my favorite makeup, so a $13 dinner expedition is bound to turn into a $70 dinner and makeup expedition. That's not good! They are quick, the service is efficient if not effusive, and the food is good. And that all works for me!

It's been quite a while since my last Mali Thaixperience and after journeying back into the dirty south from the upper echelons of Mt. Issaquah I am quite displeased with what I found. The food has went DOWNHILL. This used to be the SPOT, since then it has become the NAUGHT. The Phad Thai chicken used to emit ultra-violet-nummyness into my taste buds but this time around the food was bland, dry, and umm did the chicken come out of a Hungry Man box? The prices have stayed consistently low but I am ashamed that I was once almost on the brink of a 5-star experience here. Talk to the hand cuz the mouth don't understand.

I hardly every give a 5 star rating, but I definitely think this place deserves that high of a rating. My cousin took me there for my birthday because we love Thai food and we had been hearing so many great things about the place. We were already super hungry when we got there and the food came no longer 10 mins maybe even in just 5 minutes, not to mention they were steaming hot with bigger portions than usual. Especially the rice, I've noticed that usually in asian restaurants their servings for rice is a really small handful but at Mali they're literally like 2 big handfuls of rice, we thought we wouldn't even be able to finish it. Also, you must have their Thai Iced Tea, it was just absolutely heaven. The waitresses were really friendly & we basically finished all the food and stuffed and satisfied when we left. And another plus, it's affordable with amazing quality food.

Really close to giving this place 5 stars, maybe after the next trip. It looks like a strip mall restaurant from the outside, nothing special, but once you get inside it is so much nicer. Started with Spring and have to say they were one of the best I have had, the peanut sauce and the chili sauce they serve them with were very good. I have to always try the Phad Thai and again one of the best I have tried. Along with that we had the Rama Swim (Chicken with fresh spinach and a great peanut sauce) and both were requested to be at 4 on the heat scale and both came out perfect. The service was good so we have found another very good Thai restaurant to go to.

Tasty. EVERY. FREAKING. TIME. On my bang for the buck theory, this place scores a four stars, however in the five years I have eaten here it's been consistently awesome. How so? Here's an example: Since this place has yet to be nothing short of great, I did the ultimate challenge: I pulled out the menu, waived my finger randomly in the air, and let it land on three different items. I tried all three, and all three were again epic. I dare you to try this elsewhere--really. There is exactly one shortcoming, as mentioned earlier, and that is charging for rice, which is just plain silly in my opinion. How on earth do you eat curry without rice? Anywho, the speed of the cooks, the flavor or the food, the great decor (backlit bamboo is a great idea), and the consistency over the years lands this place in the magic five stars category.

Best Thai Food EVER! Great price for a good portion! My girlfriends and I always come here for our get togethers! My favorite things on the menu are the, seafood tom yum soup, calamari and phad kee mao! Never been disappointed with their service or food! Love it here!

This place has become my local Thai hangout lately. It's consistently good, inexpensive, has loads of booth seating, and I can park outside and not walk off my meal going back to the car. The decor is pretty Trader Joes, but at least the nice ladies who work the place make up for that. Plus the food, if not super excellent, is Thai and spicy and consistent. I like the curries. Their cabbage soup is not some contrived tofu mixture, just plain cabbage soup to get you ready for a nice meal. I never leave here feeling stuffed or sleepy from MSG. Try the Rama chicken or the yellow curry - the first is available off the lunch menu, the second will cost you a bit more. $10 and 30 minutes in-and-out. You can't beat that.

Wow. I was SOOOO skeptical about this place- I love thai food but thai food in a strip mall... I had serious doubts. But it was my birthday and my boss and I were stuck at a conference, we had time for lunch and I got to pick. We almost went to the Red Robin (unoriginal as it is) right next door but he said he'd never had Thai food... I decided to take the chance. I AM SO GLAD I DID! Great food. Decent service and standard pricing. Did I mention great food? I am the kind of girl that would gladly ho myself out for good Pad Thai and might even consider some give for just so-so Pad Thai. There's is SO good!!! Decor inside is almost kitschy but a bit over the top, but as soon as you sit down you get tasty hot soup- so who cares!? Its not close to where I live, but whenever I am in the area (usually for work) I ensure to take the time to stop in and grab lunch.

This is one of my favorite lunch spots. I always order the lunch combo that has red curry w/ chicken, vegetarian phad thai and a scoop of rice. They also give you a free cup of soup during lunch. There are a few more thai restaurants in the area, but this one probably has the best portions at somewhat lower prices. The servers always seem so rushed and they're not very attentive when it gets busy. I guess that's normal, but sometimes they act bothered when you ask for something. I've never had to wait too long for my order to be done and even when it's busy we're usually seated within 10 mins.

Probably one of the best Thai restaurants around Southcenter. Waay better than Simply Thai which seems like it's on every corner. (Ok, maybe just two locations). My co-worker and I would come during lunch and try the tom-yum soup with chicken 4 stars and a bowl of rice. Just the right spiciness and perfect for a chilly day in Seattle. They start you off with some complimentary soup to warm your tummy. Pad-thai is good. Not too greasy which is always a plus. The ambiance is very nice and warm and service is good. We're usually in and out in about 30 mins.

The food is a little on the sweeter side. I usually get the pad thai or pad see iew so I'd recommend that. The service is below average. We usually get greeted by someone in the back that points to our table. Overall the food is average.

Man oh man, talk about a nice surprise! Good Thai in a strip mall?!?!! YES!!! Very affordable, flavorful dishes, fast yet good service. Pad Kee Mao all day, everyday (not literally, though I wish). Everyone I bring here says its the best Thai they've ever had! Even though its way out of my way and I have 20 odd Thai places close to home, I still make the trip down here.

This is place is definitely awesome! The service is very quick and friendly.....my wife and I have been there a number of times and they remember us. Definitely the kind of place where you feel relaxed. The Phad Kee Mao is my favorite along with the green curry. The Thai Iced Tea is really good too.....I can't say one bad thing about this place!

Was in Tukwila on New Year's Day after riding the light-rail back from downtown -- and my friends declared they want Thai food. Craved it. Needed it in fact. Lucky for them the area seems to be bursting with places to go to. Sort of unlucky is that a lot of them were closed for the holiday. So welcome Mali Thai -- one of the few Thai restaurants that seemed to be open on the 1st day of there year. You have a jungle feel to this place. Bamboo and tiki posts everywhere - even the seats and table are made of it. Seemed a little tacky but the entire place goes with the theme so I shouldn't complain too much. We were seated right away with water already waiting for us at the table. The menu is large --with plenty of your standard to not so standard dishes available. The food itself is pretty typical for your average "Strip-mall" thai restaurant. Tasty, filling, but nothing that makes this place stand out among any other Thai joint in the plethora of Thai restaurants on this side of the state. We had an appetizer of spring rolls that would have been blank without any sauce. I went with #33 which was some sort of garlic chicken & noodle dish on a plate of broccoli. The noodles were good, the garlic on the chicken was a bit over powering and I would have liked to have had my broccoli at least steamed a little. Was raw and I didn't think it worked well overall with the dish. Their panang curry was very very sweet, and their Thai fried rice a little smoky. Everything was lacking in spice even though we requested all our dishes with 3-4 stars. Disappointing. Saving grace is that everything on the menu is super cheap. Almost all dishes being around $8.95. And you get a lot for what you are paying for. All of us went home with leftovers. Their Thai iced tea and coffee were good as well. The waitress was really nice and good with drinks -- however got really confused when it got time to split the bill. Overall an ok place to go. Not great, but not bad either.

Mai Aloy! As a person of Thai descent, Mali Thai = 0 Stars and is the worst of the Thai restaurant in the Southcenter area. Food is gross, services is horrible, feels like the waiters are always trying to rush you out of the table. "Mali Thai Cuisine", come on, be real, this is more like a "Mein" interpretation of Thai food, place is straight YUCK!

this is my favorite thai restaurant in the northwest so far. everything tastes delicious and their portions are generous. the staff are always attentive and sweet, and the cooks in the back are FAST! appetizer portions are very large so the prices reflect that, i think. best crab wontons i've ever had :)

This is my absolute favorite Thai place.. ever. I go atleast once a week, always ordering off their lunch specials. Amazing food. Their Panang Curry is DELICIOUS! I would happily give them a 5 star, but their servers are more on the rude side versus what side they should be on!!! I think they're more concerned with feeding you & gettin you the heck outta there to sit the next customer.

Went for lunch and ordered the Pad Thai with pork. What I received was barely recognizable as noodles but resembled a rounded mass of sticky, gelatinous goop with pieces of pork. The cook must have scavenged my order from five previous orders of Pad Thai because the dish was so over cooked that individual noodles were unidentifiable. Seriously, think Thanksgiving jello mold, phad thai flavored. The only reason I'm not giving this restaurant one star is that the mung beans on the side were fresh and the condiment of fish sauce with hot peppers was good. Perhaps if I had dined at a time when it wasn't so busy I would have received a dish that was individually prepared with more attention to detail. I believe in getting a second chance and I hope my next trip here will compel me to update my review a couple of stars.

This is my favorite Seattle/Southcenter Thai restaurant. The service is always fast, and the food is great. We always get the Chicken Phad Thai, and have tried many of the other entree options (always with chicken). Everything we have tried has been delicious. We probably eat here at least once a month, if not more. I highly recommend eating here.

I have to admit I was very skeptical about trying Thai food because my first experience? Not soooooo great! I went with my Sister to Mali Thai for lunch/dinner today and I was so impressed! I really wanted to have a very simple dish so I went with my Sisters' choice and all I have to say is WOW! I will definitely not be in fear of Thai cuisine AGAIN! Big thanks to my Sister for choosing this dish called, "Phad Kee Mao"! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! The first bite..... really surprised me. You can never go wrong with sweet chili :) The restaurant is soooo nice! It looks quite small from the outside but the minute you walk in, the interior job looked so good, it made it look twice as big! The ambience is great for one of those first/casual dates. Food preparation was quick and their service was awesome :D I'm definitely putting this restaurant on the list of my "must go back to's".

OK, so I went back again for the beef phad thai, and I would like to correct myself: it is not worth 5 stars. more like 3-4 stars. their noodles were delicious, BUT their beef was completely tasteless on its own. gross. if they were to add some flavor to their beef, it would be a 5 star dish!

Thank you Yelpers for helping us find this place! We've walked by this unassuming store front plenty of times without a thought of going in. After reading your reviews we tried it out and were not disappointed! The food was very good as was the service. The prices are fair and the portions are generous. This is a better than average Thai place due to all of those factors plus the decor, which we loved.

I visited your restaurant on October 3rd at 5:53pm and I must say I am very disappointed and will not be returning. I was looking forward to trying your place because I love Thai food a lot. I ordered the phad thai because it is my favorite thai dish. I couldn't even get through two bites of it. It smelled and tasted bad. I tried to flag a waitress but she never came around our table when it was time to collect our dishes I told the guy I didn't like my meal. I sat there the whole time not eating it while my friends ate their food and I didn't want to get another one not that I would have had the chance because the waitress never checked on us once. I received my bill I was charged for the entire meal even tho I ate none of it. When the girl came to get the check I again told her I didn't like my meal and shouldn't be charged for something I didn't clearly eat. She brought the check to be signed and I was charged for the meal yet again at that point I am not going to argue I signed my slip and left as soon as possible knowing I will never return and sadly so won't my friends because it was handled poorly. Why should I be charged for a meal I didn't eat and if I would have known I would have my friends take it home instead of them taking it. I am sorry to say but business being done like that is shady and unprofessional. I will tell my experience to everyone I know not to go to that place. I left hungry and mad because of the way I was treated the waitress didn't even apologize it was my friends that apologized for bringing me there. Left such a bad taste in my mouth. Thank you for taking my money!!!

My favorite, no one else can compare. I love this place, their lunch specials are only $7 and include an entree, Phad Thai and rice. $7!!!! Where can you find that? Oh and soup too if you eat at the restaurant. The lunch time rush is sorta nuts. Be prepared for the waitresses to be running around like crazy. The only downfall (and this is a small one) is that the booths are kinda tight if you have a big ass and are trying to squeeze in and sit down. After you sit down it's fine. Well big ass or big thighs. If you've been you know what I'm talking about.

This place is the reason I like Thai food. The food ranges anywhere from 7-15 dollars. With most of the food being between 7 and 9. Their deep fried calamari is really good, and comes with a sauce simular to the kind you find at an asian market that you use to dip your spring rolls in. I truly reccamend those. On to the entrees, The phad thai here is comparable to the kind you'd find at the huge Racha Thai restaurant in the mall(Which price ranges 10-25). I've tried the tom yum soup once, and it was too salty for my liking, though the waiter kindly had it sent back to the kitchen where they made it less so. The service there isn't the best, but they try their best. All of the food I've tried there so far has been delicious. The atmosphere is interesting. They have booths for every table, each seperated by a wall made by what seems like bamboo. The lighting is dim, and there's oriental music playing in the background. To conclude, this place has delicious, authentic thai food, and wont break the bank. Perfect for spontaneous dining.

I eat Thai when ever I get the chance and this place is the best I've had in the south end. Whenever I have friends that visit, I take them to this place. It's right next to Coldstone Creamery and the Ulta store in Tukwila, so look for those spots to check it out. Once you step food in the restaurant, everything is bamboo. The chairs, the walls, even the bar, you'll see bamboo! :) I get the usual pad thai and pad se ew dishes. When I'm real hungry, I get their crab puffs with plum sauce. YUM! I've had their curry dishes as well and just delicious all around. On Sundays, there is usually a wait for a table and their take out is pretty fast. If you want a quck bite to eat, head to Mali Thai. I would choose Mali over Racha or Simply Thai close/in the mall for good Thai around Southcenter.

Not a bad place to have a quick dinner. Quality of the ingredients used was average . Service was friend up to when they drop the bill on the table. At that point they kind of ignore you until you want something.

This is absolutely one of my favorite thai restaurants. They make the best pad thai and pad see ew here. Everywhere else i go, it is either too moist or extra dry. The wait staff is pretty good about checking up on you and refilling up your water. If you go during lunch, sometimes you get complimentary miso soup. I like this place much more than simply thai.

Love, love, love, love this place! I especially love it during lunch because of the portion and price. I always get the red curry and phad kee mow! Or whatever you spell it. Yumm =)

Mali Thai is one of my favorite Thai restaurants. Their food is not "too" sweet, and has a great balance in flavors. This place is clean, and the staff is friendly.

Excellent Thai. The Red Curry is heavenly. The spice levels are perfect and the ingredients fresh. The fresh spring rolls are better than the fried but isn't that true of nearly everything in the realm of food? The service is prompt and kind and and and. What more can I say it's a great place for dinner.

After searching forever on yelp to find a good restaurant in SeaTac with my parent's specific dietary requirements (must taste good, cheap, etc) we ventured over to Southcenter and ate at Mali. Not bad, considering it's in stripmall overkill - parking was a little tricksy because we were competing with Sunday shoppers but we were able to get in and seated without too much hassle. I hoped for one of the booths, but it looked like everyone and their asian aunty was out doing the panasian national sport of shopping. The food is average AmeriThaicanized food.. We had the phad prick with chicken and the phad thai with beef and a salad. The brown rice came out (serving for two) in two humps on a plate - not the best looking presentation especially for a place that tries to make you forget that shopping itch and want you to stay longer.. Split between four small asians, it ended up being a cheap, easy and fast meal. Not something I'd search out, but when in Southcenter - it's an option! BTW, to the bad driver who parked sideways in their minivan and barely gave me any room to get into my car and back out of my spot - I really wanted to say thanks. your indifference at leaving no clearance so that I couldn't open my door left me feeling warm fuzzies.

My wife and I like to eat here when we're shopping in the Southcenter area. Overall, the food is tasty and reasonably priced. My wife really likes the Phad Thai here; it is a little sweeter than most, but very consistent. We also like any of the meat and veggie pairings with oyster sauce (and there are plenty to choose from). The cashew and rama chicken are also solid. They definitely went all out trying to go for the 'bamboo forest' feel inside, but it works. One complaint is that the 'booths' that they use, if you want to call them that, are made out of a faux bamboo that makes the bench very light-- so light that they can easily be pushed around when you sit down. As a result, if a larger patron is sitting behind you, you can end up sitting uncomfortably close to the table, or have to channel your inner contortionist to get out of your seat.

This is the best Thai I've had in the Tukwila/Renton/Kent area so far. Mali is also one of the few Thai places around that actually offers a real lunch combo, with one of 10 entrees, tofu phad thai, and hot and sour soup (for dine in). For lunch, the red and panang curries are usually excellent. The garlic chicken is also very good. Their phad thai is different than most, but also great. My favorite dish at Mali is perhaps the Roasted Duck curry. They make the best duck curry I've had - lots of meat and tasty skin, and excellent broth - and at $9 it is also the cheapest.

Just passing through so I tried it after checking Yelp and it met my expectations. I would like to go back and try a few other items. A nicer place than I expected for its location. Their online menu is very well done.

My all time favorite Thai restaurant! Great service everytime I go there. Lunch menu is great, comes with pad thai. My Faves are Mango fish, tom yum shrimp & swimming rama. Friendly staff!

Excellent food! The Pad See Iew and their calamari are my favorite. Their great food makes up for their mediocre service. My first dining experience their was a bit on the awkward side. The waitress didn't greet us, and throughout the meal she didn't say one word whenever she'd walk by..or show any kind facial expression. If the restaurant wasn't filled with people and the clattering of the kitchen workers working hard in the back that afternoon, you would've sworn your heard crickets. The second time around was a vast improvement. The waitress gave us a stern "Hi", and "More water!" She didn't say it as a question though, more like a reminder. So that was a total of 3 words tops! I would recommend dining at Mali Thai for their food-- I agree with most of the other reviews with saying that this place tops all other local Thai joints in the area. The price is reasonable, quick with the orders, restaurant layout and decor feels very relaxed, although the entry way is a bit cramped. But it's all about the food!!!

Bro Chris was in town recently and while waiting for his flight out, we decided to grab a bite. Hunted in vain for the relocated Bai Tong and ended up at Mali. It was quite busy. "Can't be too bad", we decided. Wrong. The Gai Hor Bai Toei (chicken grilled in Screwpine leaves) was dry, dry, dry - even the pieces made with dark meat. The Massaman beef was runny and 2 teaspoons-full of sugar too sweet. The Phad See Ew was alright - nothing special, but not horrible either. 2 Stars - There probably won't be a next time.

Definitely my new favorte Thai spot around Southcenter. Good food, very reasonable prices, and friendly staff. No complaints, other than they were out of their fried fish, which just means we'll have to go back!

One of the best Thai restaurants I have been to. Food tastes so yummmy whenever I go there. I love their drunken noodles and Mali thai fried rice, it's so good!!! Service is great! Ofcourse if you come during Fri/Sat expect the restaurant to be busy! This place is really nice and I love their decorated bamboo walls and music they play. It's nice! :)

My husband and I have been coming here quite frequently and have noticed that we are the only ones being rushed. Don't get me wrong, the food and ambiance are decent and the service is attentive until the server brings the bill when we are still eating. The servers come back so often to see if we are ready to pay, and if you don't ask for change they will simply keep the money. We will be looking for a better restaurant.

O goodness! Mali Thai is the best thai place I've ever been to. Way better than Simply Thai and Racha....by a long shot. Simply Thai's and Racha's food tastes as if they cooked it in a hurry, but the food at Mali Thai is so phenomenal. Their red curry is way better than Racha's and so is their Phad See Iew and Phad Kee Mao. So scrumptious! The waitresses are a bit on the rude side every time i come there, but the food keeps me coming back for more.

I had the phad talay, which was very fresh-tasting and perfumed with fresh lime leaves, and had juicy green-lipped New Zealand mussels. Minus a couple of stars because the booths were awfully tight (and I'm not a plus-size model by any stretch of the imagine) and because the waitperson threatened to charge me for a refill on my Coke. WTF?

ok this was the the first thai place of many in my seattle trip - but after the trip i realised this was the best thai experience in my week. my seattle cowrokers hit the mark on this joint, and i thank them for the experience. the GRUB: - i had the lunch special - half veggie pad thai, panang curry with chicken, rice and soup - oh so dilicious... the pad thai was sauced correctly... my number 3 spiced panang was creamy coconutty goodness with plenty of kick... the the tom yum soup was nice and sour. the JOINT: - strip mall provides plenty of parking - the actual restaurant was big enough to handle most of the steady patrons coming in for the lunch rush - great bamboo decorations and thai style feel - the coworkers nicknamed this joint 'pushups' - for the cute thai waitresses with their push up bras... which i thought was funny until i finally ate there and its so true, i think even the one dude there wore his push up bra. the SQUEEZE: - this criteria always seperates the 4s from the 5s in my book... and this one hits the price mark below what i expected for the quality of the food... so that means bargain time everytime... $8 for all that thai flavor. the FINAL WORD: kop khun kap! awesome thai food in seattle...

I love going to Mali Thai whenever I'm in the Seattle area. Their lunch specials are delicious and reasonably priced @ less than $10. My favorite is the Lunch #10 (Panang Curry w/ Chicken, Phad Thai, and rice. It also comes with a small starter soup. If you're in the Southcenter area, you have to go here if you want quality Thai. And even if you're not in the Southcenter area - it's worth the trip.

I've been here several times after finding it years ago. It is better than Simply Thai, which has two locations in Tukwila on Strander Blvd. Phad Thai is always good and fresh. The fresh rolls are great. Good selection of beer and wine. All of the curries are good. My favorite dish is Phad prik king. If you're in Tukwila ignore the bigger Thai places and give this a shot... it is in the strip mall near Best Buy and Red Robin.

my first time trying TOM KHA soup and it was just delicious!!! Wow...can't believe all these years i've been grubbin' on thai food and i've never had this soup! the panang curry and phad thai were both tasty as well. one of the very few thai restaurants i've been to where a 1 star is actually a 1 star...very very mild, just how i like it!

My girlfriend and I went here twice before we had a bad experience just to be fair from the start. The food was good and the staff was ok those two times. Since then we have walked out twice before ordering. The first time we walked out we asked for fresh salad rolls with tofu instead of shrimp. Something we had ordered the first two times we were there. The waitress told us that we would have to wait "a long time" if we wanted them that way... we insisted that we didnt mind waiting a few minutes as we really enjoy them the waitress then got an attitude with us and told us it would probably be a half hour or more "because they were so busy". the place had multiple free tables. Today, months later we decided to give it another shot as we were in the area and hungry. i ordered cashew tofu... requested no oyster or fish sauce in it. the waitress insisted that it wouldnt taste 'right' and suggested i order fried tofu and fried spring rolls instead.... i persisted saying that all i really wanted was some veggies and tofu with rice and the cashew tofu was what i wanted. she then started suggesting other items on the menu still trying to deter me from my desire of cashew tofu!! it was at this moment we both remembered why we hadn't been back there for so long... and left. again.

Mali Thai is among the best lunchtime Thai food I've had. The lunch specials are a pretty good deal, all around $8, includes a main dish, pad thai and a cup of soup. The service has always been alright, but once I became a regular the level of service went up tremendously. I haven't been there for dinner, but I imagine the food is at least on par with other Thai places in the area if not far above.

Mali Thai is a diamond in the rough! Located next to a Red Robin and a Cold Stone Creamery, it could be your normal not-so-good strip mall Thai restaurant. Instead, it's an excellent authentic Thai food with great flavor and value. Their peanut sauce is definitely one of the best I've had in Seattle. The Pad Kee Mao is excellent, the pineapple fried rice is outstanding and the phad thai is worth coming back for.

If you find yourself hungry for something other than a burger and fries in the Southcenter area, try Mali Thai. It's easy to miss buried in between all of the other shops, so look for Cold Stone Creamery and Ulta. Once you enter the restaurant you'll be greeted by not a person but a fountain and lots of bamboo. You won't feel as though you're in Thailand but you might just forget you're in Southcenter! The menu seems fairly large for such a small place -- there's something for just about everyone. My personal favorites are Phad Kee Mao and Red Curry. Friends tell me good things about Swimming Rama, too. Whatever you choose, it will be steaming hot and there will be plenty to share! Service is hit-and-miss. One day it's quick and friendly, the next it's absent-minded and curt. I've yet to figure out if there's a pattern to it or not. Quick Summary: Lots to choose from. Food is on the mild-side. Prices are reasonable. Service is hit-and-miss.

Ordered the pad saew. Felt like I was eating a bowl of sugar. Vegetable was over cooked and the dish overall looked very unappetizing. For $9.50 I would expect a lot better. I added the seafood for an additional $2 and end up only taking a few bites if the dish. My girlfriend ordered desert and ended canceling because we felt like we were served desert for lunch with the food being so sweet. The service, on the other hand, was good. However, I came here for good food with good service to follow.

Pretty much I am a globe trotting foodie and this is my seattles best kept thai secret! I truly love the pineapple fried rice with panang curry with tofu, it soaks up all the red curry goodness! You don't have to search around for it either, there is plenty of tofu pieces and vegis to share. Never had a better curry but then again... I haven't been to Thailand either :)

Not so good Thai food. Curry does not come with rice? That's ridiculous for an Asian restaurant. Pad Thai was not as tasteful as I had before across the United States. Curry was okay but I did not like. Disappointed and I don't know why some people give 5 stars for this place. It's way overrated and please give honest review so other people can enjoy a good meal else where.

Wow. This is seriously some of the best Thai food I have ever had!!! No joke! The food Gods were definitely smiling down on me today as them randomly lead me to this little piece of foodie heaven. I just wish that I would have found this place during a M-F lunch, because they have some really great lunch specials!!! Mali Thai is tucked away in a little strip mall and it is a goldmine of a find! If you want to have some incredible, reasonably priced Thai food for ... go here for sure! For lunch I would suggest going only M-F, because today (a Saturday) I spent almost $30 (with tip) dining alone ... which is a bit pricey for lunch, but good Lord it was delicious. I had Thai iced tea, Mali spring rolls, and the red curry w/sticky rice. All get 5 stars ... Service was great, and I believe what truly sets this place apart is the fresh, QUALITY ingredients. You can tell that the Chef takes a lot of pride in what goes out of the kitchen and I say props to that! This place is awesome! Next time you are in the mood for some AMAZING Thai food come check it out!

Eeeeeeehhhh. It may be one $, but I feel my money is better spent elsewhere. From the moment I sat down, to the moment I left, I felt RUSHED. I can't say that I enjoyed my experience at all. Then there's the food. Satay chicken: good. I liked it; chicken was moist, not dry, and not over seasoned. Peanut sauce was spot on. I could eat the peanut sauce with rice as a snack. Phad Thai: Eh, it was overly sweet, overly saucy, and just plain unappetizing. Its like they poured simple syrup into the wok when cooking it. The catering company for my office, Bon Appetit, cooked better Phad thai than they did. That says something. Salmon Curry: Menu says deep fried, it was not deep fried, and on top of that, the salmon was not fresh, and tasted really really fishy. I won't be returning. When I sent the salmon curry back, I asked them if it's supposed to be deep fried, waitress said no, I pointed out on the menu which clearly said deep fried. So she writes it off, but then tells me they "kind of" deep-fry it. WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?

Flew into Seatac and needed some food before the drive home to Portland. Me and the BF stopped here based on the Yelp reviews and a taste for some spice! Love the decor very nice. A nice amount of seating but the way it is set up you feel almost like you have the whole place to your self lol.... very intimate with th soft music and cozy lighting. Garlic Chicken wings were good not great but hot & fresh and the dipping sauce was omg yummy! Food came out he ordered pad see ew chicken with pad thai noodle instead of wide noodle. And my order was wrong and had to be sent back.... chicken pad thai No green onion and light bean sprouts. Came to table COVERED in green onions! I told her what i ordered and she took back. 2min later waitress comes to table and said "So you want no veggies?" I told her my order again and she went back to kitchen. Order came out 5 min later so in meantime I nibbled on his.... soooo yummy & perfect spice. Mine was way too sweet. Not the best I have had by a long shot

I have this perception of Thai food being a bit more savory and less sweet. Wait, allow me to correct myself. The papaya salad and Phad see ew to be less sweet at least. So I took lil man to meet up with a girlfriend to have lunch here and we ordered: Tom yum soup, larb gai, papaya salad and some chicken buffalo wings. All two stars worth of spice.. Tom yum (w/chicken) soup: I've had better else where. Love the mushroom in it! I was expecting bamboo shoots in em for some reason? Papaya salad: didnt have any kick to it at all, even though it was two stars, I didn't taste that two stars worth. I always compare papaya salads to my sister in law and let's say here at Mali Thai, I was disappointed. Once again, I think it was on the sweeter side. Larb gai: not two star spicy, BUT I think it was the best dish out of the others. Very well executed. Will definitely get again. Chicken buffalo wings: lil man appear to have enjoyed it, ate 3 pieces out of 6 or 7. But when I tried it, the meat was a bit dry and once again.. Can you guess the common denominator.. Tad sweet. So once again, maybe I don't know what real Thai food is suppose to taste like? Nonetheless the experience was decent. Friendly staffing who checked on us and filled our drinks without asking.

I am a fan of their Thai Iced Tea! If you love Asian food, you must try this Thai Restaurant because they serve really delicious meals. Also, they have a dark ambience which I really liked because I enjoyed my meal better. I don't know for some people though. The staff are very nice too and would accommodate your extra requests.

The only reason I'm rating this place 3 stars and not 5 is because of the female server that works here. First walked in and the place looked very clean. Great decor but a little dimmed. Not only were we not greeted but she waved us from where she wanted us to be seated. Who does that? Greet your customer and escort them to the table. I found this to be extremely rude. Taking someones order with a face like hers as well was not pleasant at all. If you have a problem, leave it at home and don't take it out on customers who are paying for your service. Not once did she come over either to see how everything was doing. Why must I have to call you over to get something. Maybe it was just the time and day I went. If not for the food and it being served on a timely matter, I would never come back. The service alone disgust me. Aside from the horrible service, food was grest. No complaint about it whatsoever. Will have to try again a different day.

  • Amela J.

If we're basing ratings on food, I would happily give this place five stars but the service here is absolutely horrible, I cannot bring myself to come back unless I'm getting it to go. The first time I went my friend and I waited a good ten minutes by the door although there were several tables open and no one even acknowledged us to let us know it would be a wait. By the time we got seated, they seated us by the door of the kitchen although there were plenty of other tables available. But I tried to give it another chance. The second time I went back, we got a good table but the server was rude and kept having an attitude with us and she also kept rushing us. The third time I tried to go back we waited fifteen minutes without anyone acknowledging us so my friends and I just left. Really unfortunate because their food is wonderful. If you can stand bad service, it's fine, but I won't be going back anytime soon.

A few friends have recommended I try this place out, but I've always been hesitant because one of my favorite Thai restaurants is just down the road. Came here with the BF and we ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and Pineapple Fried Rice w/ prawns. I was really impressed by how quickly our food came out, less than 10 min. The Pad Thai wasn't terrible, but it wasn't the best I've had. I've never known Pad Thai to be sweet, but this one tasted like that, almost tangy-sweet. I did like their Pineapple Fried Rice. They were very generous with the amount of prawns they included in the dish (big plus!!), but less so with the pineapple chunks, which is fine. All in all, the food is descent and I probably wouldn't come back here for the Pad Thai, but I wouldn't be opposed to trying the other dishes they offer.

    (3)
  • Jannae V.

Not my favorite, at all! I ordered an order of fresh spring rolls, only because my coworker was headed there and I was starving. The prawns tasted so fishy I ended up spitting the last bite out (inconspicuously in my office wastebasket or course). Will most likely not be going back again.

One of the best thai places I've eaten at! The food is fresh, good portions, and delicious. I *highly* recommend the Crispy Chicken appetizer; not sure I can rave about it enough (quality meat, not *too* crispy, and great batter). I tend to get the Beef Salad, which is also really good. It's a place that I plan on continuing to visit in the future.

Best Thai in town so it's my usual spot for lunch when I get that craving. The food is really good with very rich spices. My recommendations are the Angel Wings and Phad Kee Mao (sp). Can't complain about the service either as there are at least 2 or 3 pleasant wait staff circling around checking on your needs.

  • Karina Q.

I have never been more dissatisfied with this place. The food was great but, the service was TERRIBLE, the waitress (Alexia) was nothing but rude and disrespectful. When we said we were ready to order she just stood there staring at us. She messed up my friends order and didn't even apologize and she even rolled her eyes at. The only thing that did came out of her mouth was "Thanks for leaving". I know this sounds extreme, but I'm so serious.

This is one of my favorite Thai places! Their pad see ew is delicious! I'm also a fan of their pad thai & pineapple curry fried rice, which come in pretty big serving sizes. Usually when the fiancé & I come here, we have leftovers for lunch so it's definitely one of our go to spots for cheap dinner dates! The service is always very nice, which is a plus! I've never had a bad experience here!

  • Aimee K.

3 to 3.5 stars. I know this place must get a lot of its stars from its regulars. I notice a lot of the patrons know the staff here by name and even know some of the highlights of their lives. However, my visits are so infrequent, I have no real emotional bond to this inconspicuous restaurant tucked into the side of a strip mall. It gets very busy here at lunch times and normally we have to wait 10 - 15 minutes. Parking will even get tight despite its size because of the popularity of the other stores in the mall. $9 - 10 will get you an entree or one of their lunch combos. They make a very good pad thai here and it's a bit salty but a good rama chicken too. I know a lot of folks enjoy the pad see ew. The half hearted rather careless service, the wait and the claustophobia all detract from the experience. Dinner or a weekend meal may be a different ball game, but I'd be hard pressed to make the drive to find out. Solid food if you're looking for some in the Southcenter vicinity which I sometimes do when I'm at work near Seatac.

Mali thai has become one of my favorite Thai place around the Seattle area! They are decently priced, and offer a very friendly service. The atmosphere of the restaurant brings me back to Asia! It has that feeling where you are in the middle of a rainforest and there is this restaurant built from bamboos, and serves the best home made meal EVER! Well in my opinion, Mali is one of those places! My favorite item is their Pineapple fried rice! It is very delicious, and filling! For less than $10 you get a large plate of food! Other places normally run about $13-15 just for a plate, and most of the time it comes in very small amount. If you are in the Tukwila area and are craving for some Thai cuisine, I highly recommend Mali Thai Cuisine.

Really enjoyed the food here and the customer service was on point which was impressive. So much so, I'm here writing this review which I barely ever do.

Mali Thai is our favorite Thai place! The food is delicious, the service is fast and friendly, and you get a lot of food for your money! Out of all the Thai places to choose from in Tukwila, we only come here!

Perfect. Food, service, ambiance, everything. Currently my favorite Thai restaurant. I recommend their Thai iced tea and their cashew chicken. Kudos.

Pretty much my favorite Thai restaurant to go to. They're usually always busy when I go, but the wait isn't too long and the food is usually out fairly quickly for being as busy as they are. Wonderful wait staff and great food.

I've been eating here since I was little and I'm 18 now. The service is fast, your water will always be refilled, the girls are pretty :) and the food is really tasty. This place will be your go to Thai place. My favorite dishes are the curry and salads. Everyone should save room for dessert or just stuff it in your body anyways and try the Mango Sticky rice. I would recommend the Yum Woon Sen and Cashew Chicken.

Good food, but red curry was pretty bland and Tom yum too fishy. Green curry good. Spring rolls good also.

Came here on a Saturday night at 7PM, primetime right? But the wait was less than 5 min. That lead me to believe either the food was going to be mediocre to bad, or just that nobody knows about this place? Well, I'm relieved to say I was pleased with the food here. We ordered a variety of dishes: Larb salad, Chicken Pad Se Ew, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Red Curry. When asked how spicy, they pretty much got it right as well. Food was delicious, service was awesome, wait was perfect, and portions were above normal.

Four stars because every dish I had here has been flavorful in each bite! I must say, the sodium in each dish is a little high (if you're not eating it with rice). I loved the beef salad and the fish with tamarind sauce (I think). Both were very savory to my liking. I liked the fact that you have the option to order the Thai iced tea and Thai coffee with coconut milk versus half and half -- I'm lactose intolerant, but love both drinks. I recommend Mali Thai to those who have a salt/savory-tooth :)

I usually get Phad see ew, but I haven't gotten Phad Thai in many years so I did today, it was overly sweet and kinda made me sick, it was also weird that half of my plate was bean sprouts... So I felt like I didn't order a full plate of Phad thai, I also had a delicious Thai tea, never can go wrong with that, well from now on I'll order what I like, because the food here is good! Ac can be a bit very cold in here so bring a sweater, other than that I love coming here and I like the atmosphere where's it's dim and the creative bamboo walls :)

Not quite as excellent as Bai Tong up the street, it's still good, with a lighter decor and serving style.

The food was very good but I understand what everyone says about the service. It wasn't bad the just didn't know how to do it. Dinners shouldn't come out 10 minutes before the appetizer.

Came here with my friend, we ordered phad see ew, and the garlic chicken wings. They were very tasty and i did not feel thirsty so I am sure they were simply good. Will take more friends and family here again.

One of my FAVE Thai restaurants in the area. Small restaurant, but it's decorated so nicely. The staff is attentive and friendly, which is a plus for any Asian restaurant. I've yet to have a dish I haven't liked from there. A few faves include: mango fish, larb gai, papaya salad, and all the noodle dishes are pretty tasty too. I like that they don't mind substituting items in a dish if you don't like them. It's nice that they are flexible. Another great thing about this restaurant is that they have fresh mango with sticky rice.. one of my absolute favorite desserts ever. It's a nice ending to the meal. I never leave hungry from this place..I tend to over stuff myself every time so I'm always in a food coma afterwards. You would think I would have learned by now...NOPE. It's in the same complex as Red Robins and Ulta. It's actually in-between the two. So if your hungered after a day of shopping, you should check it out. It's definitely a contender among all the restaurant choices in the area.

I have been here on 3 different occasions for both lunch and dinner. Every time I was seated promptly, my order was taken and the food served quickly, it was hot and always delicious - superb in fact! The meal size is also very generous. The service is attentive and very friendly - cost is reasonable. I have no hesitation at all recommending this place to anyone who likes Thai food.

I've been coming here for years! The food is excellent! Love their phad ke mao, and their won ton noodle soup. The won ton noodle soup will seriously cure whatever cold or hangover ails you! Or at the very least it will make you all warm, full and happy!!

The atmosphere is ok. This Thai food has definitely been tweeked for Americans. With menu items that include cheese, too much sugar in their curries and soups and Chinese background music, what stupid American would not know the difference? Luckily the price is reasonable for the B- copy of Thai food that this place has to offer.

  • Keechie S.

I love the quality of their food! I've never been disappointed. I appreciate that they have dry ground thai chili which many thai restaurants don't offer. Although their service on the other hand is 40/60 from personal experience. That may be the reason why I usually do take out... I recommended this place to a friend of mine who decided to take a friend from out of town. They weren't impressed with the service which affected most of their experience. So keep that in mind if this is your first time.

One of my favorite Thai places in the south. Usually my go-to place in Southcenter area. I love their papaya salad! The fish sauce blend they has is legit, ultimate fishy like I like it. Haha. Usually get a noodle dish here too, I feel you can't go wrong. Tom yum is tasty too, esp during the colder months :)

  • Tien N.

Really disappointed in the pad thai and crispy chicken. Pad Thai was flavored but there was way too much sauce so it was disgusting to eat after a while. Would NOT recommend ordering. The crispy chicken had a THICK batter that was not even that flavorful. The ratio of batter was greater than the chicken piece itself, very disappointing However the pad kee mao and curry was pretty good but I would rather go else where for Thai food where all the dishes are delicious (even if it is a bit more expensive).

I thought that this restaurant was quite good the first time that Mexican took me here. However, the second time was the opposite. The noodles were not chewy and were cut into 3 inches pieces. It wasn't worth the drive from Olympia, and the last experience really ruined the night. I guess it was a different cook. However, you still should give it a chance.

Not impressed at all. My family ordered take-out from here a few days ago and did not enjoy the food that we ordered nor did we enjoy the ordering experience. The people helping us were not very pleasant and seemed to be in a hurry to close up even though we had arrived an hour before closing. Every waiter, waitress, or helper made it seem like they had something more important to be doing than tending to the customer there. Once we got home, we were already not so happy with the customer service but had hoped the food would be more up to par. Unfortunately, the food was as tasteless as the customer service. Everything was BLAND. Also, there were far too many vegetables being used to fill up empty space. The only tasty thing was the Thai iced tea that we had gotten. Overall, will not be going back to this place.

We were seated quickly with nary a word. The waitress was speedy as well as the server with our food on a busy night. Portions were large, prices cheap, except you have to pay for rice. I had the best masaman curry of my life, with the largest portions of potato, carrot, and shrimp that I have ever seen in a curry. Mind you, it was not overbearing, just right. Usually you get 10% vegetables and protein in your curry. This place gave me 40% vegetables and protein. The other party got some kind of vegetable stir fry, and he loved it. He said it was right on with the star level and quality of food. We got a small cup of rice with each entree, paying extra, but it was cheap at a dollar something. We ordered another rice dish to share that was divine. The aesthetic of the place is the jungle, lots of bamboo everywhere and a fountain in the front. The chairs are super cheap. We'll be back for another meal.

This is my goto Thai place for work when I want to eat alone. Very calm atmosphere and the servers are good. I never had to ask for water because it was always being refilled.

  • Philicia S.

The service has gotten so much better here. Food is still good. Many times though my pad kee mao will have plenty of noodles while other times theres barely any. The curries are delicious and my husband enjoys the green curry. I love their spice tray because the peppers are actually spicy burning my tongue! :-)

Wow... Worst service I've had in a while. Our server was incredibly rude. When we ordered she cut us off and just walked away. When our food came out we asked for jasmine rice and it wasn't even jasmine rice. We asked if they had some and she's gave us attitude and said "that's all we have". Then we asked where one of our dishes was and she said "you never ordered that". Any other server would've responded with "oh I'm sorry, I must've not heard you". Or something like that! Never blame the customer. Especially when there are 5 of us and we all heard what my brother ordered. So appalling! The other servers were much kinder and when one of them spilled a little bit of our curry, he apologized and said he'd bring us another one. We said it was fine because he barely spilled. If you get a younger girl with long hair, don't expect crap from her. There are two young girls, one fills your water (she's nice and fills your water often) and the then there's one that waits tables. I think they need to switch jobs.

This is absolutely my favorite Thai restaurant in Tukwila/Southcenter. They never disappoint! If you go during the weekday for lunch, they have lunch combos for a great price and great portions! Plus, you get a yummy side soup as well. Here are some of my usual orders: - Phad Thai - Very flavorful and delicious; never overcooked or dry, and some other places that I've had phad thai you can taste ketchup, theirs is not the case. - Red Curry - Love love love. If you like sweet coconut curry, this is the one. - Swimming Rama - I always get this with chicken and I just love the combo of chicken with spinach and their peanut sauce! They put a good amount of sauce so I never have to ask for extra on the side. - Thai Iced Tea - Delicious! I've also tried their Tom Yum Soup (spicy but soo good!), Crab Wontons, Calamari, Phad See Iew and no complaints there :) It's somewhat a small restaurant I wouldn't recommend going in large groups.

I have enjoyed Mali Thai for years for lunch and so I decided to take my hubby there for dinner. I had been telling him I liked it a lot. The food was good and the atmosphere is nice.... the price is great... the service is NOT! I hate it when I walk away from a dining experience feeling like I was a bother to the servers. We didn't ask for anything special, were not difficult but they were so hurried and bothered by having customers, we won't be back. It made the experience a bummer. The food is good though quite sweet. I love the Panang Curry there and several of the Chef's dishes are great. Too bad they don't take time to train their servers on customer service. Won't do that one again.

Hands down one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the Puget Sound area. I've been going here for a few years now & I never get tired of eating here! The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and they always have great customer service. The service is fast and they have nice décor.

4 servers, no one know what they are doing. Ordered food, food came out and server just placed food on the table without letting me know what the food was and left. Afterwards all 4 servers asked if we needed a to-go box. These people need to work on there customer service and be welcoming. Never going back. Adios

Always good every time! Be careful because 3 stars is plenty hot if you generally like spicy food. My faves are red curry, and cashew chicken. You will not be disappointed!

  • Linna S.

Everything is soooooo darn sweet here. At times I felt like I was eating a mouthful of sugar :( I cant really see what the hype is all about. I have had the beef salad, phad thai, tom yum and crying tiger. NEVER have I had tom yum that was sweet. NEVER. and it was a bit of a disappointment. Crying tiger was pretty good tho, the only thing that had no sweetness. just wasn't too impressed.

LOVED the Massaman curry here. It was the most authentic I have had in a long time. I like it 5 star anf it is hard to find a place that makes it hot enough for me. They made it perfect. Will definately be back! And will recommend to friends!

The food here is very good and fresh. One of the best Thai places in the area. They have a very nice, Thailand style atmosphere and have intimate booth seating as well as open table seating. The restaurant itself is hidden away in a strip mall and not too big when you go inside. They have very good portion sizes and average prices for a Thai place. Service is good and friendly.

  • Donald L.

We ordered the deep fried Wonton appetizer and we had Pad Thai. It was VERY delicious and we will definitely go back and try other items on the menu. Only thing it was a little overpriced rightly so being they are in the Southcenter Mall.

  • Sakina I.

Their pad thai now is way too sweet which sucks because that's my favorite thai dish. I also noticed that their customer service tanked really bad. The last two times I was there, it was not busy at all yet they still rushed my friend and I out. Seriously??? IT WAS DEAD. SIDENOTE: Bai Tong is just right around the corner and they have better food and better customer service. You'll find me there.

  • Roanne E.

This isn't my favorite Thai restaurant in the area but they are still pretty decent. The servers are pretty friendly (most of the time) and the ambience is really nice. My only thing here is that a lot of their food is extremely sweet for my liking. I know Thai food is pretty sweet to begin with, but they just kind of go overkill with the sugar. My fave things to get here are the Pineapple Fried Rice, Fresh Spring Rolls the Tom Yum. I like extremely spicy food so I always ask for 4 or 5 stars. They get it pretty spot on. They also refill your waters constantly so that's always a plus for those who have weak taste buds!

  • Sophia H.

I haven't dined in here for awhile because there's these specific two servers who lack in customer service. I'm not sure if they are still there. Anyways, decided to order take out tonight. I ordered gra tiem beef 3 stars and pad see ew beef 3 stars. Upon arrival at home and opening the bag, I was disappointed. Gra tiem was such a rip off. There was barely anything in there. Pad see ew is my favorite here but opening the box, I can already see there was barely any broccoli... I will probably be back in 6 months LOL

This is onw of two places I love going to for thai food. Ive tried a lot off the menu, none are disappointing! Their fried shrimp rolls, or their chicken wings, angel wings are delish as appetizer! Main entrees (dont mind spelling) phad thai, phad sew eew, phad woon sen, pineapple fried rice, they are all good! You truly cant go wrong with your selections. Friendly and great service as well!

  • Lyna N.

I've been going here a lot lately since it's close to home. I love the interior with bamboo decor covering the ceiling. It also has a nice atmosphere with dim lighting and Thai furnishing. I have tried a variety of things here. I like trying new things because I loveee Thai food. The Panang Curry, Pad See-Ew, Basil Fried Rice, and Tom Yum soup is really good. The Pineapple Prawn curry was pretty good too, but more on the sweeter side (I balanced it with more spice). I think the Panang is on the sweeter side too. A questionable dish they have is their fried chicken appetizer. No one at our table enjoyed it. I forgot exactly what it is called, but it had very thick breading and tastes very doughy. The service here is good, I haven't had any bad experiences.

  • Kathy L.

I think they have a pretty solid selection of OVERALL thai food. as opposed to some places that are only food for certain dishes. I especially love their MANGO FISH. I dont know of any other thai places that have this dish but its my absolute fav. (Fried fish above a bed of shredded mango and veggies (kinda like a salad you could say) dressed in fish sauce lol other than the overallness in food, the service is kinda hit or miss. some days the girls are super sweet and sometimes i get an attitude when i ask for something on the side or an extra of whatever. I would go back for the fish. and also gives me a reason to go to ulta and coldstone xD

  • Rafael P.

I ordered the Pad See Iew (beef variant) with a side of sticky rice. The Pad See Iew was HUGE. I'm a big guy, and I struggled to finish it. It was tasty, but a little too sweet for me. The beef was pretty tough. I've had better for the price, but that doesn't mean this isn't still a good deal. The sticky rice however was dry, and not very sticky at all. I'm pretty certain they microwaved it, rather than using a rice maker, which was really disappointing. The upside is the service was really good, my order arrived within minutes of me ordering, which probably also explains the quality of the food.

I've been coming here for years and it's my favorite Thai place in the greater Seattle area. Recently, I took my friend here from Portland and they really liked it (I guess there's a lot of good Thai places in Portland?). We got there on Sunday at 11:45am and saw the open sign. It wasn't until after I checked into Yelp that I found out it opens at noon, but after asking the super friendly staff, they said that they just haven't updated their hours. For food, we got the papaya salad, phad see ew and the pineapple fried rice. The décor, food, prices and even the music is all on point! I don't think I've had anything bad here, but these were just my staple items. The papaya salad had fresh green beans and tomatoes all soaked in a spicy fish sauce (really good if you like spicy fish sauce). Both the fried rice and noodle dish came in big portions and flavored very well. This is a great place that's priced reasonably and has a really cool ambiance (especially at night). Highly recommend!

Pad Thai was way too sweet, and curries are too creamy / almost to the point of being gloppy. We ordered three dishes and ate about 50% of the food and just couldnt stomach more. It was just too rich and too sweet. Seems to me that they are targeting a clientele that wants sweet and rich food --- not like good Thai food I have had elsewhere which is based on flavors and spices. Service was disorganized. Waitresses bringing 3 plates to our table and putting them all down, then only leaving one (which was what we ordered) and then picking up the other 2 to take to another table. Just a little unprofessional. Also, we had separate waitresses stop by and asking the same questions "Do you want to box up your order" --- Um, No. 1 minute later, another waitress stopping by and asking the same questions. This happened a number of times. Not a huge deal, but they just seemed disorganized. We wont be back.

This place used to be OK but not anymore both food and service. Especially one of the server (tall one with braces) was really rude. She brought us cups of water and at that time i asked for thai ice tea and she did not accept the order and told me she will come back. Fine. She may have been busy i understand. (though only few tables) Next she came back to take real order and asked us beef, chicken, pork etc we did not take too long maybe 5 seconds of thinking then she looked really frustrated and in the very mean way told us "ok if u guys arent ready ill come back". This attitude totally ruined our dinner. Then after the meal we asked her to for togo boxes for rice and curry. She only gave us one tiny box that curry barely fits. I expected 2 boxes one for rice, another for curry. I asked her we need one more box obviously and then she said "ok fine" with of course unprofessional tone. Really? U aignt doing ur job at all. She better go work inside kitchen if she doesnt know how to serve. I rarely do this but left zero tip and wrote down complainment on the receipt. We are not going back there unless she gets fired or learn how to serve.

This has become my favorite Thai food restaurant. I always come here if I have a say in it. This place has delicious phad see ew. Thaeres nothing "ew" about it. It's well made, it's a great portion size, and it tastes delicious. The employees are friendly and quick to serve. Always have a pleasant experience here. I always recommend this place. Will be back.

This place is soooo disrespectful. I had dined here with my fiancé awhile ago and they had packed the rest of our food. After we went to get dessert next door and I had forgotten that I left my wallet on the seat. So I went back and I didn't know that the bag was leaking over their "hardwood" floor ( I believe it was papaya salad), and I heard the workers cussing and talking @&$% about me in Thai not knowing that I am Thai. And to me that is hilarious. So I gave them a couple of nice words in Thai and left. Thing is, you're the one who packed the food... It's not my fault you didn't know how to pack it up correctly. How was I suppose to know?

Best Pad See Ew in all of Seattle - hands down. Ok, wait...I haven't eaten at EVERY Thai restaurant in Seattle, but I've been to many, and this is by far the best I've had yet. I always stop in and get a carryout order since it seems the portions are larger. They're quick too - I'm usually in and out in 8 minutes. The red curry was pretty tasty, but still, the pad see ew is the real star on the menu.

Delicious Thai food - Get in my belly! Located on Southcenter Parkway in Tukwila, you would never guess this restaurant would be my go-to place for tom yum soup. The restaurant is located in a strip mall (close by Best Buy and Red Robin). You could easily drive past it and not know it was even there. The restaurant is small, but I've typically been able to get a table without waiting too long. In the past, I've ordered: -pineapple fried rice ($9.95) -tom yum soup ($9.95) -pad thai/pad see yew ($9.95) -mango fried fish ($13.95) Also, Mali Thai's red /yellow curries ($10.50) go nicely drizzled on top of steamed rice. The food is consistently good each time and they use fresh ingredients, specifically the pineapple fried rice. Don't you just hate it when other restaurants use pineapple from a can? No bueno! *** *** *** CONS/IMPROVEMENT OPPORTUNITIES: -Customer Service is inconsistent, where wait staff are either friendly, indifferent or slightly rude. *** *** *** Overall, I give Mali Thai a rating of 3.5 stars (mainly due to the grub).

My favorite Thai restaurant! Service is always exceptional and very attentive. I appreciate the vegetable soup as a starter before the meal. They make the best fried fish with mango salsa salad! Tom yum talay (seafood) soup is not salty or water down. Phad kee mao is also my favorite noodle dish here. Overall, I love how their dishes are very flavorful! 5 stars is spicy but not super spicy, so I always ask for a spice tray. I know I'm crazy hehe.

Came here on the recommendation of a friend. Wasn't sure what to expect coming from out of the area, but the food was delicious! I ordered the Mali Crispy Chicken and got way more food than I expected. The chicken was fried just right and the sauce was nice and tangy but not too much. Would definitely recommend!

  • Kim L.

I would have to say Mali Thai is one of the best Thai restaurants in the Southcenter/Tukwila area. Everytime I'm in the area, I come here to eat. I have tried the phad thai, red curry and the mango fish. All are delicious & yummy. Service is alright-they refill your waters and take & deliver your food quickly. The last time I came here though, I split phad thai and red curry with my cousin. We asked for 2 stars, but we felt that the red curry was a lot more spicier than the phad thai. But otherwise than being a bit more spicier, the food was good.

If you want that real spicy Thai food this is the spot! The pad thai is spicy! The papaya salad is spicy! The mango sticky rice is delicious! The Thai food here is good stuff! You don't see Thai food prepared like this in my home area. YUMMMMMMMM Recommendation: Pad thai and mango sticky rice

I'm really surprised that the quality of their food got worse over the years. I used to absolutely love the food here but it's just whatever to me now lol. I came here recently to dine in and was greeted by really rude servers. Although I got seated immediately, their attitude really rubbed me the wrong way. I ordered the pineapple fried rice and pad see ew all with beef and with two stars. The spiciness was definitely there but the beef in both dishes was extremely chewy. My jaw hurt by the end of the meal. The rice in the fried rice was super mushy and the pineapple was really juicy but not sweet at all. The pad see ew was a little salty. Their thai tea was good and I like that there was light ice. I would never travel out of my way to dine here, let alone dine here. It's not worth the fuss.

I wish I could put zero stars. All of the food we ordered was completely sugar. We said for the papaya salad spice to be 4 and it wasn't spicy at all. Even after eatingI could still taste the sugar. However, they have good service.

My friend raved about this place tons of times. She said its her favorite Thai restaurant ever and after trying this place now I can see why! Took my siblings here for dinner and they absolutely LOVED this place! Even they said it was the best thai food they ever tasted! Everything tasted authentic and the service was great! We had the pad see ew, basil fried rice, phad thai. Everything came out looking delectable and tasted wonderful! If you're looking for a good thai restaurant and in the neighborhood, check out this place! You definitely will not regret it!

Sad to say after coming here for years now, the past few times we've ordered to go...our order was incorrect. Tonight it was wrong again, and no solution was offered. Its disappointing to get home and have the wrong food. We still really like the food, but service has changed. :(

Might only be a 3 star place, BUT there is 1 dish here that I would come back here for.. READ ON!! Been here a couple times and usually order to go. Dishes here are about $9-$12 but they have a great presentation when they come out and they are fairly generous in portions. Came here during lunch and it was about 75% full of people. We were seated quickly. The service here was excellent, they only had 2 young (Very pretty) servers here with 1 additional one that would come out once in a while, but the young ladies handled their own! They bussed and took orders all while checking on people and ringing up to go orders as well! I was impressed. The service here is not lacking! My friend and I ordered the following: Mango Fish $13.95 Deep fried trout topped with shredded mango, cilantro, mint, carrot, cashew nuts, and tossed with our special sauce. And the... Larb Gai $9.95 A mixture of cooked ground chicken breast tossed with chili peppers, lime dressing, red onions, green onions, and cilantro. Served with fresh cucumber and cabbage. Both of these were excellent dishes. The fish was a little pricey but it turns out that was my favorite dish! If you want to taste good food order the mango fish! I still think its a bit over priced but at least you know you're going to get some tasty delightful food that will have your mouth exploding with joy! Also they do put quite a bit of "special sauce" on the fish which you dont really notice until your done, just make sure you dip your fish in that sauce so you get all the flavor possible! I personally enjoy my Larb with Beef, however I am finding out this is a rare thing, guess I must have been spoiled, but I want mine with beef please (if I can get it that way)! Great place for groups. Service is above par, nice environment and decor, plenty of things to look at while you wait on your food. Food does come out in 5 min or so very quick overall. I would only come back here for the mango fish, I have had other items here, it's ok but the fish is unique (at least I think it is.. Anyone else know where to get fried mango fish?. Let me know!)

Guess it was just a bad dining week.. had this place bookmarked & was in the neighborhood wanting a good Thai lunch special, since I need a new thai place :( The lunch special was $8.95 (good price) - I ordered the panang curry (2 star was more like 4), white rice and brownish red phad vegetarian phad thai (which was horrible - it had no egg or tofu). The menu said I got soup with it but I didn't get any also got a Thai iced tea (not good/not bad). Waitress was weird and couldn't answer any questions I had about items..........definitely will never be back.......

Had pad kee Mao & Phad see eww their tofu I didn't like the Phad kee Mao was overly sweet. The Mali fried rice was plain had to add soy sauce for flavor. Their tofu curry a little on the sweet side. I would skip this place doesn't impress me. Maybe I just don't like the cooking style of their chef. Had better at other Thai restaurants.

Coming in at a dinner hour was not the best choice. The waiters and waitresses were running around frantically as they tried to get to every table. There were also only about 3 of them, definitely an insufficient ratio of waiters to tables. When I first sat down, oops! I sat right on a nail that stuck straight up from the booth seat. Luckily I didn't bleed... or I didn't check my butt anyway. The waitress who took our order was kind about it and offered to move our table however she was busy enough so we refused and continued placing our order. The food tasted above average however still was mediocre compared to 3 other Thai cuisines that I've visited. I ORDERED | Crispy Chicken $11.95, Pad Thai w/ beef $9.95, Yellow Curry w/ chicken $10.50, and an order of Steamed Jasmine Rice $1.25 and Brown Rice $1.75. CONS | The yellow curry was a tad more salty than I preferred. The pad thai was very roughly made-the noodles were broken and clumped together rather than whole and stranded. The crispy chicken tasted good at first but then felt like I was eating mouthfuls of fried batter. The table was small, barely enough to fit three dishes and plates for us to eat on. The light was a little more than too dim, it was a warm white light which I appreciated however it was too dim and I felt strained. PROS | The food came out hot. And by hot I mean piping hot. The potatoes definitely should be taken caution to before bitten into. The table decor were unique plants that felt refreshing since they were just the right size. The overall ambience of the restaurant was great - relaxing. The decor was nice. I noticed a flat-screen very strategetically placed in a corner where it was blocked from view by a little stand, frankly put it was not a great place to attach the TV.

I come here for Thai food, i don't know any other good place but there are some days i don't like eating here. It's a hit or miss, literally. I think it depends on which chef is working, their food is usually sweet, but sometimes its really sweet, and just not that appetizing anymore. I come here for the Phad See ew, Tom Yum soup, Yellow/Green curry, FIsh Salad, Beef Salad, and Pineapple fried rice. Those are my favorite dishes. Service here is.... normal. They take your order, deliver your food, and take the check. Usually dont ask how your food is, or if you need anything else, but sometimes it's nice not to be bothered when you're eating, unless you need something like water or other spices. Come here for their good food, just dont expect good service all the time.

If you're craving Thai or just want food fast Mali's is the place to go! I've been coming here for yearssss and have gotten to know the staff well. Seen the changes in wait staff and cooks. Okay, back to the topic at hand, FOOD. My usual go tos are: phad kee mao, Mali fried rice, panang curry, phad see ew & cashew chicken. All are great! The food is slighted on more of the sweeter side of things. But not to worry add a little of the Thai chilis in fish sauce from their sauce platter and its on point! The seafood salad is also really good if you're feeling adventurous from your norm. All in in all its a great place in the Southcenter area. It never fails when you're super hungry and want something on the fly! They serve super fast and staff are friendly. If you're unsure come try them out for lunch they have 10 different combos with pairs of phad Thai & rice. Be warned lunch time can be very busy with cooperate America coming in to dine!

The server here was just straight rude. A party of 6 of us came here for dinner. I hate it when a server doesn't right down our orders. I ordered 6 dishes plus an appetizer and she walked away as soon I gave the order without any confirmation or anything. About a minute later I was a group of 10 leave a table without even ordering. I was a bit worried as we had the same server. Our food came out one at a time in pretty timely manner. All but 1. Also, the white rice I ordered was incredibly sticky. It was all clumped together and not like jasmine rice at all. When I asked about it, she just said that's how Jasmine rice is like I was stupid. I then asked for the missing dish and straight up told me I didn't order it then just walked away. She was by far the rudest server I've had in a very long time.

I have a love-hate relationship with this place, it's almost unhealthy. My favorite dish to order here is phad see ew. It's sweeter, and I find that it is a more flavorful dish in comparison to the other rice noodle dishes. The chicken baitay and crab delight are great appetizers! They're so delicious and easy to share. The food here is always consistent, easily making it one of my favorite thai restaurants to go to when I'm craving thai cuisine. But here's the caveat, and it's a big one. The service is awwwwwwwwwwful. Holy crap. I frequent asian restaurants enough to be able to bypass subpar service, but Mali Thai takes it to another level. I like being able to relax and eat out, but really this place is one that I think I'll have to strictly do take-out from. During my last experience there my friend and I were the last customers, but even though it was a half hour before closing the workers started propping chairs on top of tables, and swept up while presuming to cut the normally peaceful soundtrack and blast extremely loud (I felt like we were in a club) rap music. I thought it was inappropriate and strange that the manager would allow that to happen knowing there were still customers dining. Also, the reviews on the awful waitress are all true. I've encountered her several times, one instance in which I asked for light ice for my thai teas and she told me that she was going to charge me extra (seriously?). When she didn't know how to function the computer to charge me more, she handed me my drinks like she was doing me a favor.

I love coming here, their food is delicious. Food can be on the sweeter side at times so if you love spice in your food I would step it up to 3 to 4 stars if you want a good amount of spicy. I absolutely love their tom yum with rice noodles on the side, their mango fish is EVERYTHING, and of course you can never go wrong with phad Thai or phad seew (sp) AND pineapple fried rice. Service is fast, and all the ladies are attentive!

I've eaten thai all over the country and I travel to Seattle just to enjoy the amazing Mali rolls and tom kha soup...literally out of this world!

BEST THAI RESTAURANT! There's never a time I leave this place unsatisfied! I get the mango fish everytime! Their pad see Ew and Phad thai are never too dry or saucy! The seafood fried rice is unique cause I personally enjoy its hint of stir fried, charcoal-y taste (if that even makes sense)! Everyone need to try their grilled chicken wraps!

I've tried tons of Thai food at different Thai restaurants my entire life. By far, this is my most favorite Thai restaurant in the area and I have yet to encounter another decent one in terms of food quality and service just like Mali Thai's. I've been an ongoing customer for about 4-5 years now and bible, not once have they let me down! Every time I leave this restaurant, I walk out lookin' like I'm 8 months pregnant with a set of twins! It's a modest-sized restaurant (which makes me feel like I'm at home) and the minute you walk in you are immediately dismayed with the restaurant's ambiance! It honestly makes you feel like you're walking through a jungle! If you ask me, I find that pretty cool. Even though I say jungle, the restaurant is pretty clean lol - don't get me wrong. (this was a joke lol) The service here is efficient and friendly. However, parking may sometimes be a b*tch because there are neighboring businesses such as Red Robins, Cold Stones and Best Buy but that won't stop me from purchasing good food. As for the food, I find the portion sizes to be absolutely amazing compared to the actual dish prices itself. Every time I go here, I order the Pad Thai Beef and each and every time it tastes like heaven in my mouth and the best part is that it consistently tastes like that every time I order it! In the end, if you're looking for quick service and good Asian food - come on over to Mali Thai! You won't regret it.

Been coming here for years and the food is good and always consistent. Customer service is good and the prices are fair. The crab delight is the best around, i've tried other places but none compare to Mali thai.

The food is good but their customer service is lacking and when ordering "to go" the amount served is very little to the point where it barely feeds one and their price does not reflect the amount served. Otherwise the taste is good just the experience is disappointing.

My boyfriend was craving thai food so he suggested that we eat at Mali Thai! I hadn't really remembered that we had eaten here once before until we pulled up to the restaurant. It really is quite nice inside. We were seated at a booth and immediately serve the menus, water, and a clear broth soup (w/carrots, onions, and tofu). Today we ordered the fresh rolls, beef phad thai, and the #10 lunch combo (vegetarian phad thai and panang curry chicken). The portion sizes are generous and filling. We actually got full off of the fatty fresh rolls and ended up not finishing our entrees which is a first! The phad thai dishes have great flavor and the perfect amount of sauce. Service overall is great. Dishes are cleared right away, food comes out quickly, etc...

We came here because we were craving the mango salad and the Mali combo that we always order, we specify to have no onions on the salad upon receiving the item there was onions and poor service came along with it. The two ladies that was working never asked us how was our food, never came to see how we doing (even when we had the onions on the side plate like hello!) last time we were here we were treated fine. Today difference on service. The ladies walked pass up 10 times out of our meal and never asked us how was everything! Bad experience!

Mali Thai is my favorite Thai restaurant in Seattle. This place was one of the very first experiences I ever had with Thai food, so it definitely brings back warm and nostalgic memories. Taste:5/5 Pad Kee Mao with beef is my favorite dish, and they definitely do it right! Larb Gai is also quite delicious, but could come with more lettuce/cabbage. Pad Thai is done exactly how it should be done. Seafood Tom Yum is delectable. Panang curry is delicious and flavorful. The list goes on and on, I don't think I've had a bad dish here. Value:4/5 Everything is just under or around 10$. Lunch menu is a little bit cheaper. Basically on average with every other Thai place. Decor:4/5 Looks like what a Thai restaurant should look like. Clean and tidy as well! Service: 5/5 Wait staff is friendly, not overly intruding, and makes sure that you're taken care of. Highly recommended if you want good thai food at a good price!

Hands down. One of my most favorite Thai restaurants! I've been going here for years & I love their food there. Great customer service, delicious food for reasonable price. If you're looking for a refreshing drink. You should definitely try their strawberry smoothie! The best I had so far :)

Best service, food, and freshness in the Valley of Mall. Larb salad is amazing and the Tom Yum soup will warm the coldest souls...5 star is the only rating this place deserves. And the did I mention the service? You can not teach hustle.

I've been a few times this last month, have time to kill before dinner time when I have another appt so I have to find an early dinner. They are very nice and friendly. I don't mind eating alone, better then getting "take-out" and eating in my car, I pity those people. Grow a spine and eat alone in a sit-down restaurant :) Prices are a bit high and they charge for rice but service, quality and ambiance are great for the area.

I have eaten here numerous times and have never been disappointed. A few favorites are their pineapple fried rice, mussamun curry, and phad see lew. Most recently I tried their Thai iced tea and it was delicious! Lots of parking since it's within a large shopping complex (a few doors down from Red Robin).
