+ Great customer service + Great food + Easy parking What's not to like about this place. I love that you can order online and skip the line and go straight to the cashier to pick up. It's easier if you've already pre-paid online otherwise you can pay cre

I have been to this location several times and the customer service is always bad - but the food is normally very good. My boyfriend is a chef on the waterfront downtown and I have had several jobs working in the food industry as a barista/server so we both understand when things run out of orders get messed up. So, Today I went there with my boyfriend. Lady with the glasses who greeted us was incredibly rude. They ran out of steak and had us step aside. The steak they put on was only half the amount they normally give. When we bit into our burritos - the tortilla and rice was cold and the steak was veryyyyy underdone and the fat was not trimmed off as usual and it was cold/hard chunks in the burrito. My boyfriend went up and told them it was cold and the steak was under done. The cook argued that he temped the steak and it was 175 degrees. They remade the burritos (they were warm and the steak was cooked perfectly), but they forgot the sour cream. We went back up again and asked for 2 sides of sour cream since they had not put any on. The lady at the register rolled her eyes and gave us 1 side of sour cream not even half way filled. I could excuse the food if they were friendly however we never got an apology for the food being messed up and everyone working there had a bad attitude, definitely not going back.

At 2pm on a sunny Thursday there was a short line, very friendly staff that kept a clean area, and outdoor seating which was nice. Everything was prepared quickly, although I wish they kept their food hotter because it gets cold quickly. I love that everything is organic. Very conveniently located near a panera bread and a Panda Express if you want other options.

My experiences at Chipotle are always the same. The environment is most always clean and the (sometimes long) line always moves at a steady speed. The food preparation seems to be handled well, the staff is friendly, the prices are right, and the food taste exceptional. No complaints here.

I've been on a bumpy adventure to find an acceptable Chipotle in the Seattle area and have really struggled until today. My complaints regarding the other locations I've tried are the improper ratio of the respective ingredients and the widespread inability to roll a burrito. Perhaps my happiness today was because I went with the soft tacos - no rolling necessary, but who can know for sure. I know for sure it was related to the chips not being stale, which was [unreasonably] exciting for me. Definitely worth making the trek from South Seattle to Tukwila for a delicious version of an old favorite.

I go to the Tukwila Chipotle on Southcenter Parkway every week, a consistently great experience

The carnitas burrito was not good. The tortilla was steamed for seemed five seconds. The carnitas was extremely dry. Put that together and you have a chewy dry burrito. I am glad I made the purchase on a buy one get one free coupon. Top it off with bad customer service. The cashier had to be called several times to ring up orders. When the guy on the line would call her out front to ring up orders she mumbled something under her breath then took my money without saying one word. Not going back.

I was traveling for work and you can't go wrong with a meal at Chipotle. But reading reviews of Chipotle's there is always the same complaint, slow service. This is to be the first one I have been to where there was no line. It's not because the food was bad, it's because the service was actually fast there. Kudos to this location having great service and excellent food.

After working out at LA Fitness, just now, I wanted some Qdoda, but the one right next to gym was closed. So i decided to go to Chipotle 5 min away. I received really good service from the two who were working up front, a guy that made my burrito, and a girl at the register. I had a bad day today because I received horrible customer service for something else, elsewhere. These two really made my night, and showed that they care about their customers. If the manager is reading this, please give them a raise!

That is actually a MINUS 1. How do you not have chicken or beef? Great if your vegetarian I suppose. I could also tell when we walked in and all of the teenagers behind the counter were horsing around. Well the good thing about it is that it introduced us to Hot Pot Restaurant a few doors down. Now that is a great place...don't waste your time here

  • Judy O.

Food was bad. There was very little flavor in my burrito bowl, the steak in my husband's burrito was ice cold. Waste of money. We won't be back.

I got there to pick up my order right on time, and when I opened it my burrito was pretty much cold. I know I added cheese in there as well, and there wasn't any. Boo.

Have eaten at several other locations and this Tukwila location is certainly not up to par. The staff seem surly and don't seem to listen or care. Although I asked for the exact special that was on the board the servers asked me about every single item I wanted in my burrito bowl. Hello - look behind you or how about just knowing what the day's special is! Including the cashier my burrito bowl took four staff members to complete (?) Not one of them smiled or made any eye contact with me. Kind of a creepy experience that I'm not in a hurry to repeat.

Only 2 stars because I was told that they were out of white rice and that it would be 5 minutes. Ok, I will wait and let people go in front of us. The line started getting longer so I went to the restroom to wash my hands. The cold water was broken so the hot water was HOT! So please be careful! I returned to the line and when I got to the front I noticed that they still only had brown rice (normally not a big deal but my daughter will not eat it). I asked the same girl when will the rice be ready and she said 15 minutes!?! How did 5 minutes turn into 15 especially since at least 3 minutes had already elapsed? It did seem like the cook was very busy so maybe they forgot to start the rice? I know that during that time they had also run out of peppers and he had filled one of the proteins. It seems like there should never be a shortage on rice since they use it in almost all of the entrees. You should know when you are getting low. Our family loves Chipotle, so we will not stop visiting. We will just not visit this location. Because at the other locations we have never experienced this issue.

  • Jen M.

Always love Chipotle, but this time the guy behind the counter didn't listen to what we wanted at all. He ended up putting random stuff we didn't say on our burritos. The good thing was, after realizing he got it wrong, he was great about making new ones. He was just in too big of a hurry to listen in the first place. In the end they got it right and tasted perfect as always.

Oh Chipotle, how many ways do I love thee! Well to be honest theres only one, and thats for their massively awesome and delicious burritos. I enjoy getting myself a steak burrito on occasion from this place. Like other people have said, the quality of the food is good and the service is also rather speedy even during lunch time. You can make the burrito how ever you want it, if you want some of this but none of that you can have the skip putting that part into the burrito or put it in if you want. The only thing that i'm a little disappointed with is the price of the guac. Sure they give you a crap ton of guac but having to pay a crap ton for it is meh. If you're a fan of burritos I would recommend heading into this place and enjoying one. They are moderately priced and very delicious.

    (5)
  • Tami H.

Really the only reason I go is because they have pretty decent salad bowls. The service here is not so great. They have a bunch of teenagers running the front and instead of engaging with the customers they are making plans for the party that evening. I have been here multiple times and this seems to be the case every time!

It just never gets old. Ever since we moved away from north Seattle, we found that we had to drive over five miles just to get to get to the closest Chipotle in our area. We ended up coming here after a long work day just to satisfy our nostalgia. Food still tastes the same as any other location, so they're very consistent. I really love the cilantro-lime rice that they put in their burritos and burrito bowls. Service is usually as quick as you order since they make the food on the spot, which I guess is why this is commonly known as fast food. But honestly, you'd probably be making healthier choices ordering a burrito here than spending your money on burgers and fries.

Don't get it twisted... I LOVE Chipotle! I do! I do! I do! However, this location is serving up a huge platter of MEH. We met up with friends around seven for dinner. Upon entering my girlfriend turned to me and said, "This is the slowest Chipotle ever." I laughed her off and now shame on me. First, portions. We order two burrito bowls and literally got half of a burrito bowl we have ever gotten at any other Chipotle. Major disappointment. I am NEVER able to finish a bowl and this time I did without any problems. Second, the wait. We waited forever in a VERY short line. The worst part is we both order the bowls and when it is our turn at the register we just stood there watching our food getting colder and colder by the minute! No "excuse me" or "hey! we are ready to pay!" was going to get us to a table any faster. I HATE hot food served cold. Hate it! Now for the sketchy part of my Chipotle review.... we closed the place down. We were literally the last customers to walk out of the place... As we were in the parking lot planning our next move several cars that appeared to be family and friends of workers pulled up to Chipotle and went in through a 'locked' door and ate.

I could never get tired of Chipotle! The quality (and quantity) of the food is great. Yummy meat and fresh veggies. The only thing that i'm iffy about is the consistency of the service but the food is too good to complain.

  • Chet F.

It's Chipotle! It is always great! There is next to nothing that can go wrong with an order here. I love the tacos, burritos, bowls, salads, chips and guac. O man, so good and always fresh. Need I say more! The quality is great and the service is always speedy. ONE TIME though, I did get some guac that sucked. The avocados were not ripe and the still made guac with them anyways and it was basically a waste of money, but hey I'll let it slide.

I'd never been to Chipotle before but when a friend recommended it I decided to give it a go. The first thing that surprised me was the lack of options pertaining to the tortilla used for burritos, they only had the standard flour tortilla. Typically I am used to going to Taco Del Mar when grabbing a burrito on the go and usually get the spinach option. Taco Del Mar also has a wheat option. Secondly, once home and enjoying it my rice seemed extremely undercooked. Although it was an alright lunch option I will probably stick to Taco Del Mar.

This is damn fine food. The myriad of tastes in each entrée will keep you coming back. The workers are good at what they do, and are pleasant. The food might seem a little expensive, but it's worth every penny. I always get a Steak Fajita bowl (I'm chubby diabetic and don't need the extra carbs of a tortilla). The pico de gallo and corn salsa are fantastic. The guacamole is expensive, but oh so good. Top it off with a real iced tea and you will be in heaven. OK, the chairs are uncomfortable, but the food is so good you'll never notice.

La Raza and I were in Southcenter. My stomach was rumbling but everyone else was still full from their buffet lunch which they had without me. Rude. I needed something quick and somewhat cheap. Isn't there a Chipotle around here? I've been to Chipotle before. I wasn't blown away by my burrito but this go 'round I was quite satisfied but then again I was hungry as all hell. I probably could have eaten my own hand and thought it was decadent. One must remember this is a chain restaurant. If you are looking for real Mexican food go somewhere else. This is Mexican food removed from the family twice and relocated to California. Chipotle has a very simple mindset. There are no bells and whistles, no art on the walls, just a place to sit and eat. I walked in and saw the very minimal menu. You can choose from a variety of meats or the vegetarian option and get it in a salad, burrito, fajita, and numerous other options. I got vegetarian burrito which consisted of black beans and white rice with cilantro. To enhance your food you can get roasted peppers, cheese, lettuce, or one of their four salsas. I went with the roasted corn salsa and cheese. Once my burrito was made I got to the register. More decisions are made as to what you'd like to drink and if you want chips or chips with salsa or chips with guacamole. I wanted chips and guacamole. The total came to $7.15. I'm still undecided as to whether that was a good price for what I had gotten. Met the rest of my familia outside and unwrapped the burrito. It wasn't bad. I am a fan of the white rice and cilantro mix. My black beans were good and I must say the corn salsa was a great addition. The chips were doused with sea salt so after awhile become a bit unbearable. The guacamole wasn't bad. It is a chain restaurant and that ain't homemade stuff. I consume my food and have a happy full belly. While Chipotle isn't where I would typically go for a Mexican craving fix it has its purpose. My burrito hit the spot and I think I have developed a crush on the cilantro white rice.

Let's see...this is my first time coming here on the recommendation of a friend. When I came in the door I would have thought that j was walking into a club had it not been for the lights and people behind the counter serving food. The music was LOUD! This affected the ability of the lady taking my order to hear me clearly, I had to repeat myself numerous times. The menu selection is not as good as I hoped that it would be so I settled with a chicken burrito. It wasn't as tantalizing to my taste buds as I had thought that it would be, to me it lacked the flavor that I find in a certain competitor of theirs. Overall I would have to say that I was not overly impressed but I am willing to give them a second chance. Hopefully that experience will be better.

I really do love Chipotle. I tend to get their barbacoa tacos or the barbacoa salad with chips and their guac. I would rather give them a 2 1/2 star if it was available and this is solely based on the customer service at this particular location. I work about 10 minutes away, so always order mine online and pay online so when I come in, it should be ready so I can walk in and walk out. The last 4 or 5 times I have done this, my ticket had never been printed, I have to wait for the people in line to get their food before I get mine, and I might as well have waited in line. The last time I even made sure I was later than the time printed on the ticket and they still didn't know I had an order and had to print it, then I waited again. I enjoy the food very much, but I'd really like to see the employees step it up.

I went here today after hearing multiple reports from co-workers that these burritos were far superior to Qdoba burritos. Got there around 12:30 and it was pretty packed inside but a short line. I thought it was kind of weird they didn't have burritos on the menu they just had a pick your meat, beans, salsa, and other stuff you want on your burrito. So I went with pollo, black beans and everything on it. This thing was a monster! Bigger than a Q burrito which I thought was unheard of. It was also delicious! The hot sauce could have been a little hotter but that is my only complaint. The chicken is grilled and still really juicy and all the ingredients were very fresh tasting. The burrito was $6.50 out the door and probably weighed about 6.5lbs! hahaha not really but close. Anyway they have a ton of seating indoors and a pretty sweet patio outside, also an assortment of Mexican beers!

Okay at first this place was only getting 1 star! I walked in and it was SO dirty! It honestly looked as though the tasmanian devil had just left. Ever booth and table set had food scattered over everything and right in front of the fountain drinks was the reminants of a fallen burrito bowl. Before I could sit down I had to ask someone to sweep under the only open booth so we could sit without smashing rice into the ground. Gross. However, by the time we left someone went through and cleaned up the major spills and swept a little bit more so the grounded looked decent. But the tables were still kinda messy. I love Chipotle, but I wouldn't recommend this particular location to any one, unless I didn't like them very much.

I always refer to Chiptole as a mexican subway, and it is delicious. This location is about the same as all the other ones I've been to. Food was fresh, service was fast, table selection was decent.

Ohh hell, I want to bathe in the rice and chicken. And the guac. Have you seen the friggin' calories though? Good lord, might as well have a big mac. but I guess not the same thing? still love chipootle.

I really wasn't all that impressed... I usually eat at Mucho Burrito, but decided to change things up a bit and try Chipotle. I had the chicken burrito which had good flavor, but the freezing cold guacamole and chewy / non grilled tortilla kind of ruined it for me. I much prefer Mucho Buritto.

  • Meredith J.

This location is just as delish as the bellevue location I've been to. The carne asada bowl is great! The burritos are just as wonderful. I really don't like cilantro, at all. But cilantro white rice they make is SO GOOD! Its part of the reason Chipotle is so much better than Taco Del Mar. Also, their chips and guacamole are very yummy too. 4 stars only because of the service. No one seems at all happy to be working there...

This place is usually fast and has parking lot. It's pretty good chipotle if you are lucky and workers actually listen to what you want. Several times, I've had the employees mess up order but they were civil about it. They re-did my order for free. The place is usually very clean and spacious. But chipotle is kind of pricey for a burrito ($7-8) compared to several mexican restaurants in seattle. I love the guacamole from here but it actually tastes EXACTLY the same from whole foods. Anyway, if I'm hungry and in the area, I'll pop in and eat here. But I wouldn't make an effort to make it out here or anything.

I can't believe I've never tried these places before. Now, this is by no means authentic Mexican food but in terms of value and overall freshness of the ingredients, this place is definitely a good alternative to the run of the mill fast food joints. I found the steak in my burrito a bit chewy in a few bites so I think I'll opt for chicken or pork next time. But this is definitely a place I'll consider the next time I'm hungry and need a quick fix.

I try to avoid fast food chains, but Chipotle serves excellent quality food and leads the way in sustainable practices. The chicken actually tastes like chicken.

Love Chipotle! One of the few food-places I actually crave and never get tired of having. I always order the same thing - Steak Burrito with rice, hot sauce, and cheese (no beans - not a fan).

After seeing Chipotle on Oprah I have wanted to come here. My expectations were high and I have to say I'm somewhat disappointed. People seem to either love cilantro or hate it. I know this is a very common ingredient in Tex-Mex cuisine but I personally can't stand cilantro. Its a shame that they mix it into their rice, salsa and guacamole instead of just offering it as a side. That really limits what you can eat here if you don't do cilantro. I do however appreciate their healthier more natural ingredients and fast service so I will eventually be back.

  • Shangrila P.

It's like Subway, but Mexican style. It's affordable and you get full...even with the salad. I like the burritos but i don't like how it's wrapped in foil because I don't like that foil smell when I'm eating. It doesn't bother my boyfriend, so I'm probably just being picky.

    (4)
  • Julia A.

I love this place. The barbacoa beef burrito is my favorite, just enough spice to so its flavorful but not HOT. The meats are all good, not overcooked. The burritos are a nice size, big without being ridiculous. My husband is from Mexico and he is picky about his Latin flavors, and while this doesnt compare to La Estacion Taquaria, its great for burritos or bowls. The staff is really friendly too and they serve beer!

As always, delicious. From their steak to their sofritas, just all yummy. Theres always a line at every chipotle i've ever gone too throughout the u.s. but so worth it.

  • Jen T.

A lot better than the first time I stopped in. Came in right before the lunch rush time at noon. Had to circle the parking lot twice to find a spot, but eventually found one. There were about five people in line in front of me, and by the time I was next to order the line was to the door. I've discovered I rather enjoy the chicken bowls, with mild salsa, cheese, extra pinto beans, and brown rice. It's a good size; I usually end up eating half and taking half home for later. The food was fabulous, as usual. The staff was friendlier this time, more interactive as well.

  • Smaly K.

It did take me some time to really like this place, but now I'm a fan of Chipotle. Their food taste fresh, their steak is cooked perfectly, and their guac does rock! And the last time I was here, the service was better than usual due to the cashier they had working. He was very friendly, greeting everyone coming and going, and even checked on the customers while he was cleaning the dining area.

I am only into Chipotle some days. Overall the food is okay, kind of spendy. The service is hit or miss here. There always seems to be a table of teenagers/ employees sitting next to the soda, talking loudly and being annoying. There is certainly a "meh" factor to this location...

    (3)
  • J N.

Worst service ever! NEVER order online from here. Not only was my burrito half the size of a usual burrito that I would get if I had went in myself. And also I paid for chips and guacamole and didn't realize they didn't even include it in my bag until I got home!! HORRIBLE! And the place wasn't even busy.

  • Madison G.

This location is hit or miss. Sometimes they give me tons of steak in my steak bowl that I'm positive they'll charge me extra for thinking I asked for extra (they never do). Sometimes I get a small scoop of steak and have everything else drenched in sour cream. I love sour cream, but I asked for a steak bowl, not a sour cream bowl. =\ Sometimes, although not exactly their fault, they're out of steak at the most busiest time of the day. Instead of being well prepared for this rush, they have you wait and then give you steak that doesn't look fully cooked. :( However, the employees are all very nice and do what they can to satisfy you.

I am a big fan of Chipotle but not this location. My boyfriend and I were visiting from Portland and we discovered this location nearby our hotel. The location was dirty. The tables were not wiped down and the floors were not swept. The area where the hot sauce, napkins and soda were located was a complete mess. They were out of lemons so I requested for some more. I nearly finished my meal before they were able to replenish the lemons. Our chips were stale. The staff was very disorganized and very slow. The line was at the door and they had no sense of urgency. It was not a pleasant experience, therefore I do not recommend this Chipotle location.

  • LaKesha A.

Our chips Were stale, the customer service was poor, more like a jail food line they just threw the food together. Our rice bowl was full of bean juice nd half of a bowl We normally would get from a different one. The lunch line was out the door nd the eating area was poorly maintained while 2 employees ran the place!! Very disappointed

I am generally a huge fan of Chipotle. My favorite one in the area is the Issaquah location. The Issaquah Chipotle is twice the driving distance from my house as the Southcenter location, however, so I do find myself occasionally stopping by the Soutchenter outpost for a quick meal for the family. Unfortunately there are several aspects of the Southcenter Chipotle that are a bit of a turn-off. First of all, it's always cold, temperature-wise. This was great in the summer, but on chilly evenings, not so much. Secondly, I find that the portion sizes seems to always be significantly smaller at the Southcenter Chipotle. I would have thought that there would be a standardization of portion sizes across the various Chipotle franchises, but that is not the case. On our last visit as a family to this location, both my daughter and I were still hungry after eating our entire burrito bowls. And this has happened before here. I think it is kind of a known fact about this location, because I later realized that while I was going through the line, people all around me were asking for "extra chicken", "extra rice", and so on. At every other Chipotle I have ever eaten at, across the country, we can't finish the burrito bowls and end up taking food home. Additionally, the food tends to be on the cooler side here. One of our group had to return her "sofrito" (spiced, chopped tofu) burrito bowl, because the tofu, beans and rice were already cold by the time we got through the line. They remade it for her, and it was better, but still not really hot. These quibbles aside, I will still give 3 stars, because it's still Chipotle, and I think their burrito bowls are a fabulous value for a fairly healthy meal. But I might just keep driving out of my way to the Issaquah Chipotle, which is always perfect.

This was our first time here. Me, my husband and our daughter. I got chicken tacos with white rice, mild salsa and cheese while my husband got a chicken burrito with brown rice, hot salsa, sour cream and chesse. Both meals were tasteless!! All you could taste was BURNT. No flavor at all! To top that off we got guacamole and chips. The guacamole had no taste too!! Couldn't even taste a pinch or salt. And the bag of chips? Don't be fooled!! It's folded to look as if it's filled but the chips aren't even filled to the middle part of the bag. Its more of 2 handfuls of chips. Disappointing for first timers!!

Same old, same old. Seven people and not a customer in line, the dining room is a pig sty. Floor filthy and customers are cleaning tables to sit down. The manager on duty thought it a good idea to have a dance party with 10 customers in the dining room, he turned up the music VERY loud several times during his favorite songs. Time to get serious about management here.

  • Melissa T.

I will never go back to this location. First off, the service is slow and I'm not just talking about the new guy who was having a hard time wrapping the burritos. When you have a line that reaches the door, it's time to realize that things need to speed up. My favorite location is at Kent Station and Issaquah second. Those two locations know how to handle a rush. I usually get steak and theres wasn't cooked thouroughly. I'm a fan of medium rare, but I cannot trust a fast food restaurant to cook that properly.

  • Jessica E.

Everytime I say extra sour cream and extra corn. I get nothing extra! I'm use to having a bowl of sour cream. And this chipotle (only one I've been to since moving from Houston and having the ladies at chipotle call me "mija" bc of how often I went in) sucks. I am also use to employees at chipotle enjoying their job or at least it looks like it. But here the line workers usually look like they hate their job and I heard one say in Spanish that she can't wait to get out of there.... Like whoa hold off on the negative energy when I'm about to eat girl. But. Chipotle has a certain flavor only it can deliver. I am pretty sure it's all the lime put into most of the ingredients.... But I can't stay away from it.... If they would listen when I say "extra" I wouldn't feel so upset. I love sour cream. Mmm

  • Dalina L.

You can never go wrong with chipotle, honestly. I've tried Qdoba and Mucho and i'm not that big of a fan, and chipotle will be my #1 choice, hands down. I usually get a burrito bowl with the steak. and i also get a tortilla on the side! then i add black beans, mild (pico de gallo) and hot sauce, and extra hot sauce as well, add a little corn and lettuce. No cheese or sour cream because i'm lactose. Sometimes i like to add guacamole, but to me, it's a bit pricey. Like i said, you can never go wrong with chipotle, and if its not tasteful yet for you, you can add their selections of tabasco sauces, one just for chipotle, it taste kinda like BBQ, not a big fan of BBQ, but i loved it! and the green bottle just makes it sour, which is also good. DEFINITELY coming whenever i can. i love chipotle!

I love me some Chipotle, but this location is out of ingredients, which is a huge disappointment :( To top it off, they put cheese as I repeatedly said "no cheese" saddays. The cashier couldn't keep up with the line and the people assembling weren't patient enough to wait till the customer was at the area they were stationed at.

This location now has a completely different staff and maybe under new management. Previously I've always enjoyed coming here but they have gone downhill! Ive been coming to this location for over 5 years. Waited 20 minutes in line. No communication between the front line and cook on how short they were in ingredients for the front, no straws on their juice boxes for the kids, no chips were ready the cashier had to go back and forth from register to getting chips from the back, and the garbage hadn't been cleaned and picked up. My food was cold because it took forever to get checked out at the register. They need to figure something out.

Today, my steak bowl is tasteless. I got the bottom of the white rice. I asked for a bit more beans, and was given half of the scoop. My meat had their car nuts mixed with it, which I am sure it just fell when they served somebody else. The mild sauce looked like it was just made of tomatoes, and I mentioned, she just smiled. I have come here a lot, but what I have notice is that the quality of food is not the same as before, and it sure is different from the other restaurants.

I was tempted to drive to the Kent location due to the unfavorable reviews of this location. Unfortunately, we are from out of town and didn't have time before our conference. I'm glad I didn't waste the time or gas! The only reason I didn't give five stars is because it isn't five star food, no matter which location you visit. We DO love Chipotle though! No matter what location you visit, if you feel that they didn't give you enough of something (beans, rice, etc.), just ask them if you can please have more; They've always obliged my requests. If you don't get what you want and don't speak up in order to give them an opportunity to fix it, you really ought not complain. *This goes for any restaurant.

My favorite Chipotle in the greater Seattle area that I've been to. Good portions, and usually friendly staff. Yum!

The 2 people on the line were terrible. We stood there waiting for over a minute for them to realize we wanted to actually pay and not wait around for them to make other people's food, too. I love food, and I didn't even finish mine, it had no flavor. My mom's was burnt. My husband's was cold. We argued over who's was best... We have decided the burnt one had the most flavor......

Worst experience at chipotle. About half of the steak was too tendon/fatty. The lime salt was not mixed into the rice all the way I bit into a bite that was all salt yuck! Also the rice was overcooked. Overall really not impressed with this location we usually eat at a Chipotle three times a month! I will find somewhere else to go when I am in the area.

I ate here on Tuesday 3/18/14 at 9:30pm. I ordered hard shell tacos with steak. They only had 2 hard shells left but I got them anyways. All the food appeared to be dried out, especially the beans. It doesn't hurt to stir them every 5 minutes or so. The steak was overdone by Chipotle standards. The lady who served me was pretty rude and displayed no personality whatsoever. All that being said, the food tasted better than I expected. The manager, Sergei, rung me out at the register. He was friendly. I spoke with him for a couple minutes and he seemed passionate about working for a great company. I'm going to add this statement to all my Chipotle reviews because I love eating there and I'd like to see the chain continue to flourish: I don't understand why only managers or "senior" employees can operate the register. Too often I find myself waiting on a totally competent yet "junior" employee waiting on someone who's just as qualified to ring me up. It makes no sense. It's inefficient and gives the appearance to customers that the people who make their food can't be trusted.

I'm so glad that Southcenter decided to open up a Chipotle! Definitely my go to spot now. The servers were so nice and kind as I asked for a queserrito (my burrito to be wrapped in a quesadilla). They were fast and efficient and good amount of meat + veggies. I was a bit disappointed when I ordered a drink and my cup was only filled 3/4's way. There was a long line behind me so I didn't want to hold it up (seeing as I have a restaurant of my own, I didn't want to be "that" customer). So I just let it go. They just opened though, so hopefully they can get a good system down soon!

I actually do like chipotle because it is inexpensive and it can fill you up! The free side of tortilla allows me to make my own little burrito, so I get the best if both worlds. However, I have an issue with how inconsistent things are here. There are times where I've visited and the portions are huge and other times where it was extremely stingy. My last experience convinced me to no longer visit this location. Portions was really small, and I mean really small. I am a petite young woman so in average I do not need much food to keep me satisfied. I specifically asked for a small amount of sour cream and she have me two spoon full of it and a few pieces of lettuce. I had a sofrita bowl. When I started mixing my bowl the entire thing turned white from the sour cream. It was sooo creamy that it was all I can taste. I ended up throwing it out because the sour cream bowl made me sick. I can look past small portions because I understand it is due to the different servers. But I do not appreciate it when my request was disregarded.

Not a good week for Chipotle. We usually go to the one in Federal Way without trouble but here in Tukwila - not so. First of all they were busy and we couldn't find a seat until I mentioned to the manager that two sections were taken up by employees? One employee was by herself and occupying a 6 top and the other (also alone) a 4 top. It would seem to me that in a situation like this, they could sit together or in a 2 top. NOTE - the one employee wasn't even eating but on the phone. The food preparation also needs help. First of all there appeared to be a language problem - we speak English - Yep we are still in America - and one of the line people had an issue with understanding. Also I get the Taco's (why do I have to get 3 - I would rather get 2 but apparently you do not get a choice). Anyway I got three but what they do is fill up a spoon - give you a good serving on the first, an OK on the 2nd and what is left on the third. I would estimate my 3rd was 1/2 at best the size of the first. Those of you taking notes might ask - first he says he gets too much now he complains that he doesn't get enough. OK caught. :) but if I am paying for it - I want my money worth. LOL Next - we don't like one food preparer reaching across our food to get product for someone else - on more than one occasion. This means that their sleeves are being dragged over our food and if you ever saw a magic show - you know sleeves hold all kinds of things. Finally got our food and table but we now had to clean our own table. I should have got minimum pay for doing that shouldn't I?? Finally - our table was next to the coke machine and when they filled the ice, they put the empty 5 gallon bucket on the back of the booth - and it almost was knocked off onto my wife. We debated one or two stars but the food is fresh and good so we went with two.

Great place, really clean and good quality food I think. It does get super super busy during lunch but they are quick so that's not a huge worry :). And hello......they serve alcohol! Score!

I like this Chipotle and I come here often during lunch. Food is pretty consistent and I always get quick service even when the line is outrageously long. My one gripe is that the person ringing people up ALWAYS walks away from the register... Every single time I'm here. This should be the one person who should stay put, in my opinion. Other employees are always calling for their return, no matter who is supposed to be there. Otherwise, this location is clean and well run.

We LOVE Chipotle and go there every chance we can get. I wish there was a Chipotle over on our side of Puget Sound in Kitsap County. This Chipotle was no different from most other Chipotle's - GREAT food, quick and friendly service, clean restaurant. No complaints - this place is A-OK and I'll go back every chance I can get (when I'm on that side of the water).

Chipotle is always great for non-GMO, healthy, on the go food, and quick customer service. The Tukwila location is always very busy, and is the only Chipotle where they skimp on the meat, sour cream, and cheese portions; you will always have to ask for more. I give them only three stars because the ladies bathroom is rarely tidy, and the sink always splashes water everywhere.

SECRET HIDDEN CHIPOTLE! Seriously, we had no idea this existed until Yelp pointed it out. My partner and I usually eat at Mucho Burrito at SouthCenter when we're doing a mall or IKEA run, but when we decided to be adventurous and try the other local mexican place and couldn't tell if it was open (they still had cinco de mayo stuff up, whut?) we saw that there was a Chipotle nearby and decided to stop there instead! It was suuuuper empty given that all the white folks were next door at IHOP (it was a sunday morning), but the kids that were working were all super sweet and its CHIPOTLE for goodness sake, so you know its gonna be good food. Definitely gonna be our new go-to stop for our mall trips.

Chipotle is Chipotle is Chipotle. Most of the time. You probably know the drill already: you tell them the basics like your meat, type of food (burrito vs. bowl), and whether it's here or to go. Then you have the assembly line customization. It's great, it's fast, and it's usually delicious, 'usually' being the key word. This location can boast friendly employees, but they also had super salty food! I would have though I was just imagining it if my sister hadn't mentioned it while eating her barbacoa bowl. I don't know what differed from other Chipotle locations, but I would not want to return for sodium-ridden dishes.

  • Ashley D.

First let me start by saying that I absolutely love chipotle! But this location is theeee worst when it comes to service and portions. I came in today, a Saturday, and the line was literally out the door. Not a bad thing for me because I understand how popular this place is. But just because you're busy doesn't mean the amount of meat, cheese and beans you get should be cut by half. I got the most pathetic looking tacos and my mom and sister got bowls that were barely half a bowl. On top of that the guacamole which is usually my favorite thing on earth, was missing onions which it has each and Everytime I've ordered. Not to mention the bag of chips had like hmmm 20 tortilla chips? I was very disappointed in my experience today. Will not be coming back to this location.

Chipotle is probably my favorite restaurant on the planet. They have it everywhere, and the food is consistently delicious. I can't really say anything besides I love it and I'll eat it until the day I day or it closes down. typically, I adore Chipotle. I brought my 4 year old friend with me here tonight for burritos, yum! the kids menu is lacking in the burrito territory, so I asked if they would make a kid-sized burrito. sure! they said. got up to the register and they charged me full price for both my huge burrito and the kid's pint sized burrito. I inquired about the unfairness in price and was basically told "too bad!" not happy.

Chipotle is a good place to get a fast, inexpensive, and healthy (depending on what you get) meal. The staff was friendly and inviting. At Chipotle, I usually get a burrito with cilantro lime rice, pinto beans, and steak, plus all 3 of the salsas and cheese. This location was disappointing, because the steak I got looked great, but was over half gristle and weird tendony stuff. Blech. I know that this can be expected sometimes with meat, but this much weirdness was not cool. I left feeling irked about my meal, and wishing that I'd gone elsewhere.

Yeah, this is a fast food chain restaurant-- but it's the kind of fast food that gives the other chains a bad name! The menu is deliciously simple: tacos, burritos, bowls (burrito without the tortilla), and salads. Order one of these, then have it prepared in front of you with the ingredients of your choice. Each time I've been here so far I've received a tasty and satisfying meal for about $7 in just a few minutes. Que bueno! Bonus: In addition to the standard Coke fountain drinks, you can order a cold cerveza or even a pretty decent pre-mixed margarita with your meal.

Though I normally like Chipotle this location seems to always have a crazy long line and something there made me sick. The only thing I'm allergic to is milk products but they assured me nothing I got was made with even butter. But 30 min later I'm sick. Either butter or bad food but I won't be going back to this location again

I'm definitely a fan of Chipotle, and this location does a decent job of keeping up to standards with the chain's way of operating. Some tips for the hungry and frugal: You can have both kinds of rice, and you can ask for extra of the same kind of rice. If you ask after they have put on the first scoop, you will likely receive more in the 2nd scoop (but remember you can have as much as you want). You can have both kinds of beans as well, or extra beans (read the rice strategy). They do not ask if you want peppers/onions (fajitas) but you can certainly have as much as you want for free as well. Now onto the meat. This is the only item that will cost you extra to have more (besides guacamole). Since there is only one size scoop, asking for half chicken and half steak (or any other combination) will result in getting 3/4 scoop of each because there is no way to tell what exactly is half. And don't you dare forget about salsas! mild, medium, OR hot?!?!!?!?!?! OR is not the right word here. You can have ALL of them and as much as you want. So the next time you go to Chipotle, just remember you can usually get more than what you pay for!

We all know by now what Chipotle stands for and excels at, so I won't bore you with details. Some of the Seattle area Chipotle stores need some refresher training. Some have brown guac with inadequate amounts of red onion, cilantro, salt, or lime juice. For example, Issaquah location serves crunchy burnt shards of chicken. Bellevue has served me brown guac with "HAAS" stickers mixed in. Kent is frequently empty on chicken. Most area locations also tend to skimp on the basics like a full scoop of meat and a full palm of cheese. This Tukwila location has surprised me and actually makes their items consistently like all other Chipotle locations I've visited across the country. This is my new favorite location.

  • Julia W.

Let me disclaim by saying this was my first time to Chipotle and only because my gf was craving some quick food after a salon appointment. I don't like Mexican food and wasn't planning on eating anything but decided to get a kid's meal of Cheese Quesadilla. The lines were pretty long although they move pretty quickly. It is similar to a Subway type setup where someone else moves your food along and finishes the 'toppings'. The older guy working the order counter was quick and funny but he did forget my quesadilla and so it was a bit on the 'crispy' side and hard to eat. Can be spendy if you get any of the 'regular' meals but people seemed to be loving it here.

I often come here for my lunch breaks when I'm working at my part time job. It's near by and I can usually just walk over. For a lunch meal under $8 bucks, I usually come here for a buritto bowl. *HINT* The portion is usually larger if you get a bowl! ;) It's nice that you can put together the items you like and it's all done in front of you. It's somewhat fast food, but maybe a step better? haha The staff is often warm and friendly, so you feel very comfortable with them putting together your meal. Beware during the weekends it gets real busy in this shopping plaza, sometimes parking can be very difficult to find. A line can often form here when ordering as well, but generally it goes by real fast because the staff is very efficient at what they do! They have their orders of operations down very well! :)

This location was awesome the last time I was here (late PM on a Saturday in late June). This time (late PM on a Saturday in August), not even close. - They had THE SLOWEST employee EVER starting the line. Everyone had to repeat their order over and over and over. I said "sofritas" about three times and each time he looked back up at me and said "What sort of meat?" Maybe he was new. whatever. - While I was waiting for the guys on the line to get their shit together, I saw the second guy take a metal cambro out and shout "CHICKEN!!!" to the kitchen. A girl appeared and started chopping fresh chicken right into the old cambro. WTF. Total violation of health code. - The second guy was faster, but made a GD mess of the burrito. I got a lot of veg, to be fair, but I always get a ton of fillings at the UD location and they never have a problem making it nice and tight and edible. - The register dude rang me up, but then immediately left the register (with a huge line) and didn't give me my cup for the soda that I ordered. - The dining room was a disaster. napkins and food all over the floor and tables. The soda area was filthy. - I bite into the leaky, ugly burrito that wasn't even wrapped properly (the guy just sort of put the thing on a few sheets of foil and crumpled the foil around the burrito) and the fillings are room-temperature. I got a lot of hot ingredients (brown rice, grilled veggies, extra beans, tofu) and then just some corn and lettuce. There was no way that it cooled down so much, even with the shitty, slow service and the small amount of cold veg that I had in relation to the hot items. - I went back to get my money refunded, because there was no way that I was going to get sick from improperly hot-held rice, tofu, beans, etc. and I noticed that none of the food in the serving counter was steaming. What happened to hot-holding temps (140+)?? When I told the cashier that we wanted refunds because the food was room-temperature, he said, "Oh, so we should remake it?" and I replied, "NO, dude, I'm not going to get sick from your room-temperature food! I want the money back!" He finally left to go get the manager ("Rocio", according to the receipt). She didn't acknowledge us in any way, shape, or form, aside from holding out her hand for the receipt and bank card. An apology would have been nice! All in all, I was really irritated, because I was RAVENOUS & the sofritas was pretty tasty considering this is a meat-centric fast food place... but with high-risk foods (rice, beans, tofu) being held in the danger zone (between 41 and 140), seeing the female employee putting new food (chicken) in a dirty serving container, and the filthy dining area, I will not likely come back to this location any time soon! TL;DR: If you love improperly-held food and think that a $6 burrito is worth getting a foodborne illness and shitting and barfing your guts out, then go for it.

The first time I came here, the peppers and onions tasted like pork fat, while their website says they're vegan friendly. The second time I came here, they tasted fine. I like that they are fresh and have a mix of different colored onions and bell peppers each time. The service is friendly, fast and clean. What more could you want? My personal fav? Vegetarian burrito, black beans, brown rice, peppers & onions, mild and hot sauce (mild is pico, yum!), lettuce and guac. Nom.

I love me some chipotle burritos! They are definitely filling, you can eat chipotle for lunch and you won't need to eat dinner because your still full. I'll usually order a steak burrito with Cilantro Lime rice, black beans, sour cream, cheese and lettuce... Sometimes I'll put the steamed peppers and onions in as well. Their lime chips are tasty ad well! You are always in and out at this fast food Mexican joint. They also have tacos, salads, burrito bowls and kids meals as well. The only cons about coming to chipotle depends on where you go and who's working. Their burrito sizes are always inconsistent. Sometimes my burrito will be HUGE and sometimes theyll be tiny. Other than that this is always an easy go to place if your looking for a quick, cheap burrito place that'll fill you up.

My friend and I came out to Tukwila mainly to go to a nearby shop and she wanted to try Chipotle since she's never been. I'm more of a rice bowl-type person, but on my recent visit, I went with the vegetarian option. Still delicious and just as filling. I like that they now give you an option to have either white or brown rice.

Helped with nice friendly faces and didnt seem to rush us or anything. I was looking for them to be about done with us, but they were nice and helpful. I could eat the Cilantro Lime Rice and Guacamole all day long! So good.

Hello, ladies, look at Chipotle, now back to Qdoba, now back at Chipotle, now back to Qdoba. Sadly, Chipotle isn't Qdoba, but if Chipotle stopped using only salsa for its chips and switched to queso, he could taste like he's Qdoba. *Sigh* I was hoping for so much better. I've never been to a Chipotle before. However, I did have it when it was catered to work. And it was good then. Great, even. However, I am not sure if that was just because it was something hot and free. The employees were hit and miss. One was obviously disgruntled. Two were completely over the top. And one was in the middle. (This is her third month and she loves her job.) The meat selection was nice; I opted for barbacoa. The rest of the visit was... well... unremarkable. Except for the fact that there wasn't queso offered for the chips! Boo. I did appreciate recycling options at the garbage, though.

First off I'd like to say that I don't go to any other fast food restaurant. I tried Chipotle after reading about their practices of local foods and using meat without hormones. They also are becoming GMO free if they haven't done so yet. That being said, we ate there tonight on our way home from a road trip and had a great meal. It cost $40 for 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids) which is about what teriyaki, thai or pizza costs our family. The staff is super friendly, helpful and professional. It's a clean place and I highly recommend it. I wish they offered more salsa's without cilantro but it's still really good and the only "fast food" restaurant I will go.

Can I say YES to the lime chips! Okay, now that I've told you my most favorite thing about Chipotle, I can tell you that their tacos are awesome, the chicken is tasty, and of course, the toppings are fresh! I really do love going to Chipotle because it's fast, always delicious, and the staff at this particular location is always friendly. I typically order the three tacos with chicken, cheese, sour cream, and of course the lime chips! Makes me hungry now just thinking about it! This Chipotle is right off Southcenter Parkway and is close to the Nordstrom Rack; the perfect place to eat after a long day of shopping! A must visit!

Had the grilled steak burrito with all the fixings except for the guacomole - tasty, fresh and great value at $6.70! The dining area is bright, and modern with a patio outside as well. Bonus that the Nordstrom Rack and Designer Shoe Warehouse is in the same mall complex. It's the place to be for fashionistas to feed between purchases and save $$ for more shoes and handbags!!

My usual chipotle branch. Never had any problems with this location. Dependable service, fresh food. Pretty regular stream of people coming through here it seems. We often come after 930pm on a weekday and there is always either someone in front of us or someone who lines up behind us. I always get the steak bowl with tortilla on the side: white rice, black beans, grilled vegetables, all three salsas, sour cream, corn, cheese, lettuce and cilantro (not on the normal line, but they grab some from the back!).

Holy DELICIOUS So let me start by saying I worked at chipotle for three years. Not this one, id but a couple others in the area. I know the secrets and the story like the back of my hand. This on is on par! Always clean, always happy employees.. steak has been super fresh every time! No dirty looks for asking for tripple cheese ! Lol yes it happens! I'm almost tempted to work here because the girls are all so friendly =) Go chipotle!

Chipotle is an ok standard as far as burritos go. They're pretty much on par with Taco Del Mar. I only ever get the veggie burrito, and I am impressed with the local/organic veggies that they offer because I do think that affects the overall flavor, for the better. The fact that this loaction is busy, always, is beyond comprehension, however. The service isn't the greatest, and although one or two of the behind the counter staff is speedy, majority seem pretty new on the job and slow.

I love chipotle but this chipotle was a disappointment. The rating is mainly for the customer service here. The staff kept messing up our order and kept rushing us even though we were the only ones in line. I'll be sure to avoid this place next time and just go to the kent station location for my chipotle fix.

I've frequented the Chipotle in Bellevue and Kent, both are excellent locations with attention to quality control, service, and cleanliness. Unfortunately, the Tukwila location is poorly managed and its staff doesn't even seem to care. I went at around 7pm on a Monday and found this location empty of patrons other than for a table of four teens. I ordered to go after seeing the dirty tables and floors. It should have been a clue for what to expect. Two people put together my burrito and compared with the other Chipotle locations, the staff here seemed to be instructed to give less of each item. Less meat, rice, beans, etc... by the time the second person rolled up the burrito, it looked a bit skinnier than what I was used to so I told them to add more of everything :) That was when I heard a clatter in the kitchen and saw an employee pick up a cooking utensil off the floor and put it back on the grill :( He glanced around and when he saw me staring, he just smiled sheepishly. He then made a comment to another kitchen staffer that I had seen him. She told him not to worry about it and went back to chatting on her phone. The cashier asked for my money, but instead I got the heck out of there taking a quick look over my shoulder and saw the staff members chuckling with one another. Won't be back at this location again and suggest for other Chipotle customers to avoid the Tukwila location too. I've frequented the Kent and Bellevue locations several times and they at least have employees taking pride in their service and quality.

I love Chipotle. I spend my money at Chipotle. I spend my time with Chipotle. But Chipotle, it hurts me you charge $1.80 for guacamole. I thought you loved me back? Maybe you could charge a more reasonable price? You don't even have to call back or open the door for me. Just calm down on the up charge. I will return. I will spend my money on you. I will spend my time with you. But I hope you consider that my feelings are hurt, and we can never be what we once were.

Chipotle does serve tacos and salads besides burritos but the burritos are so good I never try anything else. The barbacoa is the best. Rarely can i finish the burrito, they are very large, in fact i do not know how they roll them without everything falling apart, but they do. Whatever additions you make to, make sure and add the corn salsa.

The food is pretty good for the price. Nothing really special but they are sustainable. So the eheads like this place.

Like most people, I have visited my fair share of Chipotle restaurants. Sadly this Southcenter location is the most poorly managed, slow and messy Chipotle's I have dined at. Upon entering you see several tables with trash and half eaten burritos just sitting there. The trash is full, even overflowing. The line is long and the employees on the line seem to have no sense of urgency. The portions of meat are not maintained so that each guest gets the same amount. The worst part... the burritos were terribly wrapped. With such a massive burrito Chipotle has mastered the wrap so that you don't make a mess while eating but this location consistently gives burritos with an open seam! Messy!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
