Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Well we had never stopped by here since it had opened years ago. The waitress asked if we had been there before we told her no. We were seated immediately at dinner time I was shocked. Got our drinks and decided to order salads. Glad we did because it took almost 45 minutes before our food showed. When it did they messed up my wife order. Got that squared away. I guess they knew things were slow since the waitress kept apologizing. Next thing we know one of the waitstaff came and told us that my wife meal would be free. Then the waitress came and said free desert. i thought ok they are redeeming themselves. The food was ok caeser salad seemed weak. I thought the service would get better but still everything was slow. Even the free desert which by this time we got to go. Then waiting for the waitress to take my money took forever. We spent 1-1/2 hrs there. I was hoping that it would have been a better experience.

Definitely a fun atmosphere with good food, tropical drinks and caribbean music. Not very authentic but good nevertheless. I love the bruschetta, coconut prawns and the cuban sandwich!

This place was alot better than I assumed it would be. Considering it's owned by the same people as Olive Garden and Red Lobster, I didn't have high hopes. It wasn't loud or overcrowded when I went. He got jerk painted Salmon. Lets be serious - the "jerk" marinade is barbeque sauce. But the salmon was moist, the cinnamon potatoes were good, the plantains were typical. I got the shrimp linguine. The shrimp was VERY overcooked but the sauce was good besides the fact that ONE brushing after the meal will not suffice. 4 brushings, 2 flossings & 3 Listerine swishes later, I was finally able to make out again.

Vessel or Bahama Breeze? Vessel or Bahama Breeze? Hmmm, I don't know they are SO similar. Gosh, since our car happens to be parked in front of BB, I guess we can try it out. Oh, wow, they have 2 separate bar, 19 thousand tables and their own zip code. At least I got a nice solid mojito and Cadillac Margarita out of the deal.

I always drive past this place while shopping at Southcenter, but htis was the first time I actually ate here. I didn't know what to expect. I guess I imagined it'd be like a Caribbean Applebees. Boy was I wrong! The atmosphere is really fabulous! It was nice and toasty and made me think I was on a mini vacation for a few hours! I had the sangria, which was mighty tasty! I also had their special, which was key lime shrimp with creamy grits and green beans. The food was extremely flavorful and generous! For dessert, I had the key lime pie. Mighty tasty! Would definitely come back here!

5 stars because everytime we have an unexpected urge to just have a good time and too lazy to go downtown without breaking our wallet, we go here - and still have a good time. Besides, it's the only good place in South Center that's open until late night. Free parking, good atmosphere (crowded and fun) and clean restrooms. It's above average for a chain.

One of my favorite restaurants. Their entire menu is amazing but I suggest the coconut shrimp and filet mignon. Enjoy a couple of bahamaritas as well, those things are trouble! I think their waiter's should have to attend a mandatory art class however. My palm tree hammock faintly resembled a smiling stoner.

Please note: I only came here for a few drinks. I didn't eat and I can't comment on the food. The service however was awful. I sat for a full 30 min. before they even talked with me. It got the point where I wasn't going to leave until someone said something to me. I may very well still be there if they hadn't finally gotten around to me... That said, the beer was about average in price, but they only filled it 3/4 of the way to the top on both beers. I'm assuming this is just plain lazy on their part rather then trying to cheat me, but either way, I wouldn't recommend going here for drinks. Again, I can't comment on the food so take your own risks, just bring snacks in case they forget about you. Update 8/17/07: Stopped for lunch. Wanted to give the food a try. Limited menu for lunch with less then stellar choices. I got the Cuban sandwich and ate about 1/3 before I totally lost any appetite that I had.

This place gets packed. From your retirees, to your business types sharing a table with co-workers, this place is continually busy no matter what hour I've had a meal here. No qualms concernring the dishes. Despite the fact that the menu is a little thin as far as choices are concerned, the flavor suits the setting and ambiance of a Bahama retreat. Actually, what do I really know? The only "Bahama" I've seen is in movies and television shows. So, on that level, very much authentic based on my own "experiences". Coconut shrimp with the dipping sauce and the seafood linguine something or other for lunch were both great. Again, food has never been disappointing. Not exactly jaw-dropping, but never disappointing. 3-stars for the less than inspiring service received from the wait staff.

The food is good, the price is right; but, don't forget that if you're in a group, don't add more tip on top of the mandatory tip. I just tipped my slow waitress twice than what she deserves. She was polite, but way too darn slow. (God, I hate it when they do that! For that alone, it loses half a star. The other half goes to the fact that you have about a 40 minute wait for your food and by then you're so hungry eating the plate will taste just as good.) Again, I'm not sure how accurate this review is; but, I'll give it a four star for now. I might assess it again later .. when I'm not so dazed from the overtipping.

I've eaten here many times before and it's always been good, even with big groups, but tonight, for the three of us, it was simply fantastic. Lots of Yelpers have complained about the service; all I can say is, ask for Natalie. She gave us some of the best restaurant service I've had this year. Friendly, helpful, perfect at keeping our drinks refilled, great at wrapping up our leftovers for us and labeling the containers, and knowledgeable about the whole menu, she made it easy for my fiance and stepdaughter to enjoy their first visit to the restaurant. We really enjoyed the food, too. We had: West Idies Patties -- a poorly named but absolutely delicious pastry pocket filled with spicy beef... they were so good that we ordered a second plate of this appetizer Chicken Caesar Salad -- cheap and really tasty West Indies Ribs -- one of us had them with the cinnamon sweet potatoes and the other with garlic mashed; we shared a side of asparagus. Fantastic! Key Lime Pie with brown sugar crust and perfect meringue -- this is no mere SLICE... they bring you 1/4 of the pie. No joke! Easily shareable. Banana Nut Supreme which John said tasted homemade and it was presented beautifully. It's one of the first things in a long time to make me sorry that I'm allergic to nuts. Dulche De Leche Cheesecake for the birthday girl; they wrote "Happy Birthday" in chocolate sauce on the rim of the plate, brought it complete with birthday candle, and apologized for not singing. Honestly, we were thrilled! Not only is this cheesecake probably their best dessert, but the sauces that it's decorated with, raspberry and mango, are sweet and tangy, a perfect contrast. We had coffee, soda, ice tea and a virgin strawberry pina colada too. The whole thing came to a reasonable $100 (roughly) including tax. We have leftovers enough for at least another meal. Best of all, to our complete shock, at 8:45 on a Saturday, there was NO wait at all for a party of 3. Dang. That's not my usual experience at Bahama Breeze, although they are happy to do call-ahead seating; that isn't actually making a reservation, it's just a way to put your name on the list for a table before leaving home. My other favorite is to come here for lunch; their 1/2 lb Angus burger and onion rings really hit the spot with some of the best onion rings in the Seattle area. Ask for a side of the West Indie ribs barbecue sauce for your rings... it is excellent and goes perfectly with the oniony taste. I knew I liked it here, but Natalie took it up a notch for us tonight -- and we tipped her handsomely as a result!

My waitress was the cutest and was on point the whole dinner. They have some pretty good deals for happy hour. I wouldn't say their food is out of this world but it's not disgusting. The set up of the restaurant would have to be the best part for me.

This place hit or miss!!! Do not know why but had very good food here and very bad as well but always had a really good garlic shrimp with really fresh bread.

The fresh catch was really good. The salmon on the grill with the lime juice, herbs and olive oil is delicious. The restaurant is spacious too. They have a mojito bar out front on Saturday nights.

I love the decor/atmosphere here! I'm a sucker for tropical decorations. lol Usually this place is packed, but I understand why. This is the only Bahama Breeze in WA and it is located in one of the busiest shopping areas: southcenter! So don't be discouraged to find yourself waiting 20+ minutes. The service I recieve here is satisfactory. The hosts and servers are always friendly. Food: The food here is delicious! A little on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for. Some of my favorite dishes are coconut shrimp(bomb!!), Jamaican chicken wings, tostones w/ chicken, yuca fries, calypso shrimp pasta, paella, and the jerk chicken pasta....the salads are also bomb!! The kids menu is great because they come with slushies and kids love them some slushies! Ha! This is a really good choice for a family dinner or a group of friends. It's loud here, but most likely with lots of people, you will be too. lol ALSO! If you have leftovers your server will draw a picture on your to go cointainer...lol random but kind of cool!

I met up with an old friend at Bahama Breeze in Tukwila and we chose to sit in the bar knowing we were going to have a nice long visit over lunch. Our waiter, Rafael, was wonderful, and he immediately set out to help us find our way around the very long lunch menu. Rafael made suggestions for our food & drink, in a friendly, knowledgable manner that was attentive without being pushy. He also let us know that the dinner menu was even more extensive and suggested we come back some future evening to check it out. I plan on doing that. I was very pleased by the assortment of dishes available & settled on the house salad, with their house citrus vinaigrette, and a jerk-shrimp with a yellow rice & sausage bowl. My food was very good and a nice change from other chain-type restaurants. I also had a Skinny Mojito that was rich with flavor but light on alcohol - - a good choice for an afternoon beverage. My friend ordered a bunless burger with guacamole & lettuce leaves, and a side of yellow rice and beans. She requested the burger to be cooked to medium rare. When her food arrived, she cut into the burger and discovered it was the rarest of rare. Rafael took one look at the meat and immediately apologized & said he would get the manager. The manager came to the table & although he did not apologize, he did say he would re-order her food. After about 15 minutes, a new burger was brought out. The outside looked done, but when she cut into it, it was completely raw. Rafael asked the manager to come back to the table. The manager took a very defensive standpoint and argued that it was quite rare but might be considered medium rare in some venues. I picked up some of the raw meat and showed him that it was quite raw & oozing blood. He then picked up the plate & said his cook would redo the order a 3rd time. My friend said given the difficulty of getting a medium rare burger that she would like the 3rd one cooked to well done. After a while, Rafael came to check on us. My friend pointed out to him that it had been nearly an hour since she placed her original order, and that the manager was discourteous when he came to the table the last time. I mentioned to Rafael that I use Yelp and planned on writing a customer review. The manager came to our table, and apologized for the delay. He also apologized & said that when he looked at the burger in the kitchen light, he did in fact see how raw it was. He offered us free fries and said he would comp the meal. After a few more minutes he brought out the new burger, and it was cooked well done. We told him thank you and also told him what a nice job Rafael had done being our waitstaff. We finished our meal & our visit. Rafael stopped by again to check on us and let us know that our entire order, including my food & drink, was on the house. We thanked him & I said I would be back again sometime. It pains me to give this only 3 stars. Based on my food & drink, and Rafael's spot-on service, it would have easily been at least a 4 star review. However, having to send food back twice for my friend, the long wait & having the manager argue about the doneness of a clearly raw burger drops the review down to a 2 star review. I bumped it back up to the 3 star review because the manager did finally make it right by comping our meals. I'll give them another try in the near future & let you know how it goes. I anticipate it will be a good visit. Also, I think Rafael needs a promotion to customer service specialist. He was a rock-star when it came to trying to make our visit better than it was under the circumstances.

The drinks here are great but the food is not :( I was quite disappointed because I heard many good feedback from some of my friends. I went here with a group of people and ordered different kinds of food from burger and fries to pastas. Let me tell you, we all shared a bit of our plate and everything tasted bland except the fries. The fries was so over season it tasted like I just gulped down sea water. The bread that came with the pastas were hard..it was so hard that one of ladies with me said, "man this bread is harder than life!"

Well let's start, we had a party of 6 for lunch on a Sunday and was sat immediately. Although Asked for the patio, was told it was closed. I did sit near it and had some tables open. Waitress was pleasant. We ordered the large app platter and never got it. The kids Mac and cheese was mediocre. Ahi tuna salad was delicious. Overall ok experience - not quite worth the enormous cost for a leisurely Saturday lunch ($140).

Thought the breeze would be a little stronger but I was wrong...it was hot as hell in there. Well into the 80's or 90's. The drinks were weak too. The food was pretty good. By Southcenter Mall. I been to the actual Bahamas and that is way nicer

  • Lisa U.

Their food is alright, I could easily replicate their dishes unfortunately. I was there yesterday evening, and a friend who wanted to order the paella asked if they used saffron. The girl helping us had no idea "what a saffron was." Hmph. Educate your employees.

Salmon tostada. Its perfect. Habenero wings, fire cracker shrimp, onion rings..pretty much all their appetizers are amazing. I would disregard any low ratings. People love to complain to try and get free stuff but they need to quit being cheap asses. Do yourself a favor and try this place out!

We went to Bahama Breeze recently and they always have good Piña Coldas, etc...food wasn't bad and the waitress was very nice - however; we had our credit card number stolen while at the restaurant last week. I'm not saying it was the waitress because anyone else on the staff that night could have looked at it and taken down the information if she was distracted. They then proceeded to charge over $3,000 worth at the Best Buy in Tacoma (a Best Buy we have never been to). Luckily we caught the charge and canceled the card and the police have been notified and they are investigating into who is at fault. Just beware, maybe bring cash to be safe. Otherwise, great place to eat!

we went for late night drinks and apetizers after a late flight arrival. service was very good even though we were up against closing time, server made us feel relaxed and not rushed. we ordered the taco apetizers, so good we ordered another

Love the coconut shrimp and the beef empanadas! The service was also very good, as were the drinks. I don't come this far south often, but when I do, an abundance of parking is definitely one of the perks!

Was surprised to see I'd never reviewed this place. I used to eat here occasionally but hadn't been in a few years. An out of town friend had a meet and greet (for her friends to meet her fiancé) and she decided that this was a good central location (agreed). The parking lot was packed on a Thursday night but it didn't seem that busy inside - my friends were set up in the outdoor bar/restaurant - they had live music (it was ok but way to loud and everyone was shouting to talk to each other). The service was terrible!! I guess since they were adding 18% to each persons' tab they figured they would just come when flagged down and tackled by the customer - there were about 15 of us and we had 3 different servers. Also, before everyone was finished a few people had left - one of the servers made everyone move so she could bus the empty table (so rude and they weren't closing for 90 minutes.....). Since I had to go to work, I ordered a non-alcoholic drink - the Caribbean CoolSun, it was a little on the sweet side but really good and it was only $2.99. I also ordered the Lump Crab stack on the Happy Hour Special (it was only $6.75) - it was a nice presentation and the portion of crab was good - I really enjoyed it unfortunately, I think the shrimp was bad because they tasted a little off and I got immediately after eating it : ( Not going to rush back anytime soon................

The drinks are strong! I got the grilled chicken with cilantro sauce (something like that?!). Anyway, it was good. The chicken wasn't dry as I expected it to be, so that was a plus. I also got the lighter option so I was able to finish the whole thing myself. We received really good service. The butter fried chicken dish was also good! My friend got that one and I tried it. The portion for that was huge! I have been here once before this for Happy Hour, I would recommend the coconut shrimp. I'd come here again.

Our waitress Allison was awesome. The foods was fantastic but the service and atmosphere was stellar!! This was the best dining experience of the year for us. Thank you!

I love this place. They make drinks where you can taste the alcohol so it's not overly sugary. The food is good, happy hour is awesome and we have never had a bad waiter or waitress. my favorite is their shrimp appetizers, jerk shrimp and firecracker shrimp! The one thing I would say is that I don't enjoy the fact they let children sit in the bar area....

The food is mediocre and over priced for what you get. . It's neither Caribbean, nor Cuban, nor anything...... Visited there three times now and have no need to go back. The wait staff how ever is top notch!!!!

  • Monica N.

Came here for a friend's birthday, and I've always had a thing against restaurants who makes it that much harder for people to reserve seats. My boyfriend and I ordered the fries, habanero wings, and the (I believe) The Caribbean Chicken Jerk Pasta. The fries were good, I love fries so I am pretty biased. The habanero wings were DELISH, I would go back just for this. It had a little spicy kick to it, but it was so flavorful. I loved it. The pasta was eh. It was sour? I don't think it was supposed to be that sour. Especially when we asked the waitress at the end that if the pasta supposed to be sour, she said no.... Hmm.. (My friend got another kind of pasta dish and hers was sour as well, so it cant be the seasoning only)

I went here twice and both times I was really happy with what I got, first I got the crab stack and it was great. Fresh ingredients real crab and the mango in it works really well. I also had the chocolate pineapple upside down cake and that was delicious and really hot! I also ordered the habanero wings the first and second time I went the first time I had the sauce on the wings and not on the side they were still good but I recommend to put it on the side so the wings don't become soggy and remain crispy. The service was great and funny! The only thing is that both times I went during the evening and the lighting is low so it was a bit difficult to read the menu but all together a great experience and the amazing food was well worth it!

  • Danielle M.

Great food! My favorite is the coconut shrimp. Mixed drinks are sweet and yummy too! I found our server to be a bit hovering, but not too distracting over all. Also good here are the pulled pork sliders. We went on a saturday night and there was live music!

Let me tell you about my two experiences here and what I hope to be my only experiences here. A couple years ago I went here with a friend. We were seated at a booth near another man who refused to order anything. After he refused to order anything they asked him to leave. When he wouldn't leave they threatened to call the police. Right before the police showed up the man falls to the ground foaming at the mouth. They call for an ambulance and they moved my friend and I to the other side of the restaurant. I understood why we were largely ignored when all this drama was happening, but after it ended we still were largely ignored and even more now that we weren't around anyone else. Since we ordered before impending drama our food arrived cold and terrible. The wait staff though were much more interested in talking about the drama then doing anything about our dining experience. A couple weeks ago I returned because a co-worker was having his goodbye lunch there. I figured that I should be opened minded since my first experience was so exceptional. We waited awhile while they set up the tables and then we're promptly seated. Half the table had one waitress while my half the table had a waiter who was so stressed that he would walk off to take care of another table if he noticed something in the corner of his eye. It was so bizarre. I ordered the fish tacos which were decedent but completely disagreed with my stomach and I ended up in the bathroom for most of the remaining day. There are too many great options around Bahama Breeze to feel like you have to go here.

A friend and I came here for happy hour, and due to an unintentional mix up, we were never waited on, after we had been seated for about 15-20 minutes. Before I was able to grab the attention of a member of the waitstaff, not a soul asked us for drinks or if we were ready to order, let alone looked our direction, as we were seated off in a corner. However, with that being said, our waiter (I can't recall his name) was very courteous and more than accommodating. Ben, the manager on duty, later came out, apologized, and offered to take care of a portion of our check. He was very kind and generous. In regards to our food, we had the coconut and firecracker shrimp, crab stack, and shrimp and crab quesadillas. The food came out very quick, everything was fresh, and it was very delicious! I understand that mistakes happen, and I in no way blame them. They showed us professionalism and kindness, and worked to resolve the issue at hand. In how they handled the situation, it feels as if they truly appreciate their customers. I will definitely be back!

  • Taylor M.

Our waitress was amazing but we asked for the burgers well done and they came out pretty rare. Instead of remaking the burger they took our burgers that were cut in half and just threw it in the oven. Now, I work in the restaurant industry and that is very unprofessional.

  • Richelle K.

The food was fresh and tasted good - so I cannot give the restaurant zero stars - like I want to. This is LARGE restaurant; so you would think they could handle a large group or two. They could not - not on the day I was there. We had a group of 15 people and it took over one hour, after ordering, to see a waiter again. When they came back - they said that they had two other large groups and that their kitchen was swamped. (We could not see another group anywhere.) They then asked us if we would like to BUY some appetizers for ourselves because our food would not be out for a while - it had already been over an hour. They did not offer to bring some complementary fries ... nope ... they told us to buy something while we waited even longer. The two waiters we had could not agree on if the fish tacos were breaded or not - both said the other did not know what they were talking about. This was frustrating because I cannot have anything breaded due to gluten sensitivity. They did not know the menu. Finally the food came, an hour and a half after ordering. Then it took them another 20 minutes to get our checks to us. All in all, we were stuck at this place for almost three hours; just for lunch for 15 people. Most of us had to drive back to Portland afterwards, making things even more frustrating. I would never go back to this particular location.

Bahama Breeze is a great place for family. There are plenty of places for larger parties to have a quiet table- the place is huge. There menu is fairly big as well. I being a vegetarian didn't find much on there for me- but they did have a new item that I was happy to try out- the black bean burger- it was awesome. It had a pretzel shell bun, with guacamole and your choice of side. I also indulged in their extreme piña colada, which was good- but wasn't as big as I would have hoped. The service was great, and were understanding even when some of out party wasn't listening. Their prices are in the 10's so it's definitely affordable. Good restaurant to go to, and the ambiance of the place is great!

I've been here a couple of times and have really enjoyed their drink and menu selection. I tend to gravitate toward their empanadas and rice bowls which are delicious. Atmosphere is usually really relaxing w the tropical feel to it. It can get hectic, of course, but for the most part service is great, too.

  • Karen D.

Seafood paella.... I don't need to say no more!! It was amazing, scallops, mussels, shrimp, chicken, sausage, all mixed in flavorful rice!! This isn't the first time I've visited, and its not "authentic" Bahamian or Carribean food but what can you expect from a chain restaurant? I can't lie though, the food was good, with tropical ambiance, and they even had live music on the patio. Also the fire pit adds a nice touch to it. Service was good, our waiter Cory was helpful, and prompt with getting our order, refilling our drinks and clearing our table after the meal. I will definitely be visiting again.

I celebrated my 21st birthday at Bahama Breeze with my family, as I was looking for something not too expensive and not too crazy as I had to work the next day. I was pleasantly surprised with how great the experience was. I've been there once in the past, and I don't really remember much, but this time was great! For appetizers, we had the coconut prawns and the crab dip tower... Absolutely amazing. The prawns especially. With it being my 21st birthday, I also had the Bahama Mama. It was DELICIOUS! It was a tad strong, but that's what supposed to happen when you're celebrating your 21st... Right? Our waitress was very nice as well, which was a plus to the whole experience. She had us laughing and smiling throughout the whole night. For dinner, I had the Steak Oscar... So. Good. I didn't even know that steak smothered in crab was a thing, but boy, do I know now. I recommend that dish to anybody. It's amazing. For dessert, I had the Banana Nut Bread Supreme... Banana Nut Bread heated up, with vanilla bean ice cream adorned on top with caramel drizzle. Definitely to die for. I was pleased that my family also didn't have to fork out an arm and a leg for such a great meal - for two appetizers, three alcoholic drink, one kids meals, three full entrees, and two full desserts, it was $140. If you're in the South Center area and not sure what to eat, Bahama Breeze doesn't disappoint!

I've eaten here 3 times since 2004 and each time it gets a little worse. I was so excited to try this place after coming back from a Caribbean cruise because I missed that type of food. Oh how the flavors just exploded in my mouth. The salsa was the best and the jerk chicken took me back to paradise. The last time visiting here was like a Caribbean Denny's when it came to service and food. Took a long time for our server to make their presence known and it was still 2 hours before the dinner rush. The theme is still great and the food still has decent flavor but seems like the seasonings aren't quality anymore.

This was the first time I ate here. Nothing great to say about it but nothing bad either. It's kind of like an applebees or Friday's with a Florida type setting. I had the clam chowder which was disappointing since it was so watery. But the firecracker shrimp tacos were delicious as well as the coconut prawns we ordered. The service was better than most.

I usually don't care for chain restaurants but everyone at my table had a delicious dish. The food and drinks were all delicious and perfectly prepared. Samuel our waiter was a hoot. We will be back soon for another visit. I loved the shrimp and rice bowl I chose it had a creamy slightly spice sauce and lots of veggies.

I came here with a group of friends for lunch. The service was great, but the food just okay. The black bean soup was very tasty, however, the mahi mahi in my fish tacos was very dry and under-seasoned, and the salsa and guacamole couldn't make up for it. I noticed that they had some interesting-looking cocktails for very reasonable prices, so I might give it another try sometime for drinks and appetizers.

We come here quite often since it's a convenient place to meet friends who live in the Seattle area. I think it's gone downhill just a bit since it opened. The servers and hostesses are very friendly and normally seat you promptly; however, here's where I take away a star. We met there because a friend wanted to celebrate her husband's birthday. She called ahead of time and asked because it was a large party did they have a room we could use, her husband is very hard of hearing. they said no they had no such thing and didn't take reservations so we would have to show up and take our chances. Fortunately they were not busy and we were seated immediately. Here's the kicker - as we were sitting there we noticed that people were going into a separate room and closing the door - they were indeed having a party. My friend was very upset because she could have easily scheduled the birthday party on another day in order to get that separate room but she was told they had none. Someone certainly dropped the ball on that one. The food is nothing spectacular but it is tasty. I had fish tacos which were nicely done and now they have the option to get two or three. Since three is way too much for me this was great. Everyone else had burgers which must be their specialty. Everyone who had a burger said it was great. You have a choice of sides, fruit with a sorbet, green salad or fries. I had salad and it was a decent size and had more than just lettuce. Two folks had the fruit and the rest had fries. None of us had room for dessert. We'll go back because of the convenience and it's not all that expensive, but the idea that people answering the phone steered us wrong wasn't nice.

Bahama breeze has a great happy hour. My family and I went after my graduation and it was a joy. We got coconut shrimp, seafood quesadilla, wings, jerk chicken pasta, and drinks! Ahhhhhh everything was so great and they man who was serving was very nice and joyful. That is the best time to go. You can try the food and see what they have to offer

I have been here many many times and I've never had a bad experience. Today I had chicken with cilantro-crema. I ordered the full order but I only got the light order. The waitress handled the situation with professionalism. She owned up to her mistake and she apologized a few times. It happens and it was actually just the right amount of food. I absolutely love it here and I will be back as many times as possible!

Helloooooo Happy Hour!! -Specialty cocktails with 2 shots each (b/c my dorky little sister asked the bartender) for around $6. WHADDUP. I loved the sweet tea vodka one with mint - SO good. -HH choices from $3-$6 include a wide range of items more than fairly priced. It's a huge place and is crack-a-lackin' by 6pm. Lots of chick groups, wide range in age, guys eating by themselves watching "the game" (which game? dunno), families. I also enjoyed the super-cute blonde host and the male manager wearing the Hawaiian shirt. They made me feel welcome and wish to return. The dinner menu has basically EVERYthing you could think of - Cheesecake Factory bookish with pictures for all us Homers (*drool*). I could go on, but you get it.. now I can see why this random restaurant, the ONLY one in the parking lot of the Southcenter mall, has been open for so many years. You go Bahama Breeze, work it out.

This review is based strictly on group event experience - not the quality of food. I called in March to inquire about holding a networking event for approximately 25 people in late April. I spoke with a manager and stated that I was trying to find a location that didn't charge a food/beverage minimum because I would be purchasing several appetizers for the group to share, but most people would be purchasing their own dinner and beverages. He said that would be no problem and that they have many types of rooms, group event packages and could certainly find a way to meet my request. I was promised the gazebo area with a bar and fire pit. It held 25 people seated and had room to mingle and network. We settled on a Wednesday because he said it was a less crowded day. He sent me a confirmation email. I called the morning of the event to verify my reservation was in the system and that we could have the gazebo area - received a phone confirmation. When I arrived at 3:45 (the event began at 4), I was met with blank stares. No one had any idea of my gazebo reservation and they had been seating people there all afternoon, so it wasn't empty and therefore it was not an option. I was told the manager who took my reservation was on vacation and hadn't passed on the information. I also had to continually ask for a status update because no one was communicating how they would rectify the situation. Finally, a manager came out and seemed surprised that another manager confirmed I could have the gazebo without a contract or deposit. They directed me to an indoor area that accommodated the amount of people, but was not a great mingling area and definitely not what I had been promised. The manager did apologize for the situation and said they would make it up to us - whatever that means because we didn't receive anything "above and beyond" regular service. Also, people arrived and went directly to the gazebo area and weren't re-directed by the staff to the new location. Overall, it just felt like very poor customer service.

The onion rings were very bland. It did not taste like onion rings at all. Love the pina colada, so delicious but light on the liquor and of course the firecracker shrimp

Enjoyed dinner here last night for s friends birthday. Had ordered the Frozen Bahamarita which was very tasty, I loved it. I also ordered for dinner the Jerk Chicken Pasta which was amazing. One of my favorite dishes here. The service was great considering how large our party was. I'll be back to try new things!

Came here for dinner and drinks and catch-up time with my BFF. We opted to sit in the bar area that has live music every now and then. We should have sat inside where the AC was blasting because it was sooo freakin' hot in the bar area. Mind you, we went when it was one of those crazy 85+ degree days in Seattle. Service is alright. Nothing amazing. The server was a sweetheart though. I wasn't expecting excellent service considering it was a Friday night and it was dinner time. Nothing like kickin' back and listenin' to some music and catching up with a friend. We opted for the Ultimate Pina Coladas as our refreshers. BOMB DOT COM. It's served in a fresh pineapple. WHAAAAT. Nice touch if you ask me & it was delicious. Not my first time here, but you can never go wrong with the guava bbq ribs or the habernero wings. I went with the ribs cause I didn't feel like sweatin' more than I already was if I got the wings. Decent service. Great drinks. Good food. No complaints here.

I always feel like I'm going on a mini vacation whenever I come here. I love love the decor, food, drinks...this place has everything! The vibe of the restaurant is classy tropical, which I love...sometimes I really enjoy kitschy Hawaiian / tropical restaurants, but in this case I really just like that it's a little understated, and you still feel like you're really at a restaurant right on the beach. I have tried many of their drinks...their drink menu is literally a book. It's so hard to choose! All have been pretty good, though. And just flipping though the book transports you to a tropical isle...there's a story to many of the drinks, which is fun addition, and there's gorgeous beach photography throughout the book. Yay! I always order the same entree...I know I should branch out, but their lime cilantro chicken and potatoes is just irresistible. The sauce is delicious, the potatoes have blackened corn and cheese mixed in, and it's reasonably priced. For $13, you get two chicken breasts, a generous portion of potatoes and a nice plantain garnish. This past weekend when we went, there was a guy playing Caribbean music! Awesome. Their servers have always been very nice and attentive. And bonus - sometimes they have new drinks with cool swizzle sticks, which I happen to collect...yesss! Usually I shy away from chain restaurants, but this place just does it right..yummy food, pretty reasonable prices, and theming that is hard to find in Seattle (area.) Always a perfect little escape from the dreary Seattle weather.

Not too shabby, I loved their Paella. Atmosphere is cozy. A bit pricy. If I would come back, it would only be for the Paella.

ordered the 'jamaican jerk chick' plate; comes with half chicken, beans, rice, fried plantains, and some interesting, sweet/tangy sauce. the best part of the dish were the plantains and i don't even particularly like them. the chicken was cooked okay but had zero flavor. jerk chick is supposed to be robust in flavor; sweet, spicy, etc. this had nice color but it was just a disguise for flavorless foul. the 'dirty' rice was under cooked and cold. the beans were a soupy mess. the raisin laden, sweet tangy sauce it comes with was OK; it made the chicken edible. sorry to complain about a free meal (was treated by my company) but i got's to keep it real.

Let's cut the chatter and get straight to the food on this one. Stopped in for dinner with the hubs while traveling through the area b/c we had a $25 gift card and, well -- why not? :] We had: - CARNITAS TACOS: super soft and squishy flour tortillas, ridiculously juicy carnitas meat, and topped off with delicious cilantro crema and black bean salsa. Easily our favorite food item of the evening. This one's a don't miss! - KING SALMON w/MANGO GLAZE & PINEAPPLE SALSA (off the fresh fish menu): the color of this free range salmon alone was enough to impress, but the sweet and subtle (as in did not overpower the fish but definitely enhanced it) flavor of the mango and pineapple made it even better. That said, the fish itself was a bit too far on the dry side for my taste. If you go with fish, though, I definitely loved the mango/pineapple preparation -- fresh, light, and tasty. - JERK CHICKEN PASTA: our server told us he orders this so often that the kitchen staff makes fun of him so we had to give it a try. First of all, the chicken was super moist and had that good ol' jerk flavor we were hoping for, then was with bow tie pasta, mushrooms, and asparagus in a cream sauce that wasn't food-baby heavy like many cream sauces are and had just the slightest of kicks to it. The flavors were simple and could definitely have been bolder, but were still tasty and enjoyable. We went with the half portion on this one which I would absolutely recommend since a full dish would have been (1) too much pasta (bring on the food-baby!) and (2) a lot of the same flavor. Better to go for the half size and get street tacos to round it out. :] Our server, Tyler, was AWESOME!!! He had a quirkiness to him that totally fits the greater Seattle area vibe, gave great food recommendations, and despite simultaneously taking care of a huge birthday party of people, still paid us just the right amount of attention and was able to get to know us a bit during our meal. So props to Tyler for being awesome. Side note: the bathrooms at this place are super nice! Really clean, all automated everything, with a mouthwash dispenser and little Dixie cups as well as an extra paper towel dispenser right by the door so you don't have to touch the handle after just washing your hands. I definitely appreciated these little touches and figured it was worth mentioning... you know... just in case you were going to choose your next meal based on the details of the throne room. ;] Anyway, this place would be 5 stars if either (A) their food was one step up from its current level (e.g. no dry fish, flavors that were a bit more impressive than "subtle"), or (B) the prices were a tad more affordable. For the above mentioned food items + one alcoholic beverage, our total was $68 before tax and tip. It was just more steep than I wanted it to be for the level of restaurant.

My job has this super sweet reward system called bonus bucks, where we literally get FREE MONEY! Still being new to Seattle, I spent my first reward by printing out $20 certificate to bahama breeze. Let's just say, I've not used my rewards anywhere else. Ambiance? Literally feels like I just got off a place somewhere. The lighting, decor, music, everything. Service? Second to none. Feels much more like a water front hole in the wall, than a chain restaraunt. Food? Amazing. Not had anything that didn't induce an omg. The beef empanadas are to die for Happy hour? Let's just say that blended heaven with the side shot, is my life. I've had the opportunity to work at my company's southcenter location a few times over the last month. I can call my order in, and by the time I walk across the parking lot and pay, lunch is done. Any complaints? Umm, they aren't next door to my house?! Yea. That's it. There's my complaint.

The service was great, and we were seated pretty quickly here. I ordered the fish tacos, which were flavorless and small. It's always a sad day when I can probably cook something better than what I order at a restaurant. I was trying to decide between the carnitas and the fish tacos and the server laughed and said, "for authentic Mexican food you gotta go somewhere else." My husband ordered the jerk chicken and plantains which was way more flavorful and probably more authentic than anything else on the menu. I saw a lot of people ordering burgers, but with a name like Bahama Breeze, I would expect more (delicious) authentic Bahamian/Cuban food. Otherwise, it's like going to Red Lobster and ordering a salad.

If I lived closer, I would hit this place every week. Its probably a good thing that I don't since I would need much much larger clothing if I did. Love the food here. Nice atmosphere. Open later than most restaurants. My favorites are the salmon pasta and the jerk chicken pasta. Both were amazing. I preferred the salmon pasta somewhat more. I'm hoping to come back when I'm in south king county sometime. Sometimes I lie awake and dream about this place. If only I had the time...

The wait staff is super friendly, and we always visit here whenever we are on the way to the airport. My favorite dishes here are the buttermilk fried chicken sliders, fish tacos, and seafood chowder. Their beans and rice are also pretty good. I don't recommend their cuban sandwich. It was a little too game-y for my tastes. Their happy hour is actually REALLY good and I enjoy ordering the appetizers with an Aruba Red (yummy!). If we still have room for dessert, we order the pineapple upside down cake.

Great little spot! For being a chain restaurant they really are wonderful. Drinks are always well made and the food is great. Their clam chowder is the real deal and their happy hours are hard to beat. I highly recommend Bahama Breeze.

First time here was great. Food was better than I had thought and their happy hour menu was awesome. Try the habanero hot wings, huge portion especially when it's half off during HH. Brian K was our server and made some great recommendations for food. If a yelp ratings were solely based on service, he'd get 5 stars! He was very friendly, food came out fast, and even boxed our food for us to go. The specialty drinks all tasted good, another great deal during HH. No lie, Pete Carroll and his wife were even there while we were eating. Overall, I'd say Applebee's is close to losing a customer after this one.

Black bean burger- dry and could use some special carribean sauce. Fish tacos- slaw was uninspired, fish was overcooked and under seasoned. Service- friendly, attentive and knowledgable. Food came out fast even if it was busy hour.

This place is fantastic! Bahama Breeze really went out of its way to help us out with an event that we were throwing - and the staff really went above and beyond in every way that they could. We ended up sitting in a room that was offset from the restaurant as it was a little quieter in there. The ambiance was really fun and a great place to get geared up for an upcoming tropical trip. The menu was really fun - I ended up getting the cuban sandwich which I really enjoyed. The cubans that I've had are usually really greasy and leave me feeling gross afterward but this one was perfect. Maybe not 100% authentic but still good. Our server was really on top of everything and kept a good flow. She was really good about knowing when to swing by and when to leave us be. I can't wait to come back here with friends!

The fried yuka potato cheese balls were delicious with a side of truffle oil, ribs are tender and moist as always and the seafood paella was disgusting. Tasted fake, like Mexican rice, and why is there chicken and sausages in the "seafood" paella . :( such a sad dish, I should have known better that the quality of Bahamas breeze is like an Applebee's

Perfect experience. Went for lunch today. Beautiful restaurant, nice ambiance, seated and served quickly. Had 2 Key West Mahi Mahi Tacos and asked for chimichurri sauce which they provided complimentary. Came with a vine-ripened tomato salad served with fresh chopped basil and olive oil drizzle. Everything was spot on delicious. I was riddin' on the flavor train! Could not have asked for a better lunch. Came to $11.50 with tax and tip. Highly recommend.

Bahama Breeze is a good place to go for some drinks and appetizers with friends. They have a giagantic drink selection and a pretty nice happy hour that runs daily. The restaurant itself, decor, food and drinks all have a very island/tropical vibe. I've been here several times and I think the clear winners are the appetizers and drinks. I am a huge fan of their testones with chicken followed with a piña colada to wash it all down. They also have some really tasty sliders, the buttermilk fried chicken ones are delicious and so are the classic cheeseburger ones. The coconut shrimp are tasty too. Some of the fish entrees are a little dry as well as the chicken. I'm not a huge fan of their Jerk items either. The salads are a little underwhelming and so are some of the seafood items. I would just stick to appetizers. The service here is usually pretty nice and friendly with the exception of the last time I went. Our server made us feel rushed and she brought out our bill before bringing out our drinks. It was crazy. Other than that one time, I generally have a great time here. Happy Hour strongly recommended.

First time visiting this restaurant and it was a amazing experience. Customer service was perfect, food was perfect, drinks were perfect and our waiter Q was the coolest guy. He knew the menu and enjoys his job. He treated us as if we were his 1st customers, catering to us. Appetizers came out quick, drinks came out quicker and our meals came out within 15 min. The decore made me feel as if I was on vacation :-) I have found my new favorite restaurant.

My first time here at this particular location but not new to Bahama Breeze. Love their variety of menu as there is everything for everyone. The Happy Hour menu is awesome as well. Service was fast and very attentive. Arrived in a group of 6 on a Monday and the place was pretty busy around 5:30 pm. Will definitely return.

I've been here many times for the shrimp and lobster linguine. Took my brother and his wife tonight... big disappointment. They must've scrapped the bottom of the barrel for the little amount of lobster in my dish. To be honest, I'm not that sure it actually was lobster. Also, (note to self) next time a server discourages you from trying a dish (fish tacos) listen to her. Nice atmosphere, but the food is heading the wrong direction.

If you want to frequent a GOOD Darden restaurant, I would say both Olive Garden and Red Lobster are WAAAAAAY better in quality, freshness, and price. I once went here for an office party and then a few other times with family and then once with my husband to see a friend who used to work there. Pros: If you enjoy an island setting and island music, you will definitely like the ambiance. Cons: if you don't like tomato's, forget about ever going here. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING they serve has tomato's on it. Even if it doesn't mention tomato's on the menu, they still come on the entree.......OODLES of them. The jerk chicken pasta is the only dish there that is okay, and even that has liquid -like sauce that probably came out of a can. The coconut shrimp app is also good, but again, you don't get many shrimp and you pay through the nose for them. After the last time my husband and I went there, he didn't like his dish, and I wasn't overly impressed with mine. We definitely weren't impressed with the price to food ratio, and we nicknamed it Tomato King since they put tomato's on everything but see no reason in mentioning that on the menu. We also had to wait a long time for our food. So in summary, if you like the island theme, small portions, mediocre food, slow service, and tomato's on everything, check out Bahama Breeze! Otherwise try Red Lobster or Olive Garden instead.

This is a pretty good place for happy hour. Happy hour is served anywhere in the restaurant, so you don't have to fight for a place at the bar, and you can get some happy hour items, and some regular menu items if you like. There is currently a deal going on (until December 31, 2012, I believe) where you get a cocktail and a small plate for $8. I got the "Zombie" drink with the ahi tuna stack, and he got the stuffed tomatoes with a run punch drink. We shared the coconut shrimp off the happy hour menu, and later got the coconut martini. I didn't think any of the drinks were very strong, and they seemed very small. The tropical flavors were definitely there, though. The tuna stack was great. You get 3 wonton chips with about 5 small chunks of tuna on each chip. The tuna was incredibly fresh and was simply seasoned to highlight the fish. There was a really nice pineapple salsa on the bottom. The stuffed tomatoes were very simple and underseasoned. I wouldn't get these again. The coconut shrimp were crispy and flavorful, and came with a pineapple-y honey mustard. Yum. Our server was fabulous and was very helpful with our menu choices. I'll definitely come back if I'm in the area during happy hour for a quick bite to eat!

This review will only be for the Happy Hour, because that is all I had there. Overall very happy with the prices of everything, super good deals on drinks and beer and the happy hour food isn't that bad and the price is ok as well. The service is very average and the decorations inside are pretty cool. I would highly recommend this place for happy hour!

As soon as we were seated, they asked if we were under any time constraints. We said no and noted that tables who came in after us were then served before we were. Though we were there on a Sunday morning & the restaurant was pretty empty, we were seated in the bar and so was every customer who came in after us who was over 21, making it very crowded. Music was too loud and the bar seating is in an enclosed patio making it echo. Food was good, but rather high priced considering you are paying average $12 for lunch entree with no soup or salad included.

My opinion on chain restaurants is that they are usually overpriced for average food. Bahama Breeze was a nice surprise. I went for happy hour when they have a great selection of appetizers for half price. Jumbo lump crab stack: Great! Crab, shrimp, mango & avocado. Fresh and delish. I could eat this every day. Firecracker shrimp: Shrimp was tender and the breading was crunchy and not too heavy. Probably the best fried shrimp I've ever had. Seriously. Lobster quesadilla: Good amount of seafood, large enough to share with 3 people. Drinks: If you like your drinks fruity and sweet, you'll like the signature cocktails here .I had some frozen thing that tasted like a Jolly Rancher. Our server, Tyler, was friendly and was able to answer all our questions about the menu. Price: Four apps and two drinks came to about $40.00. For the portions and quality this was fair.

Key West Fish Tacos Jumbo Lump Crab Stack Jamaican Me Jimmy - Baileys, Kahlua, Frangelico, coffee. $10 off coupon and late nite urges brought us here last minute. Fish tacos were eh... Crab stack fared better of the two. Coffee tasty and kept Monkey up late! Pretty quiet on a late Saturday night. Fireplace seating provided warmth and atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful service. Monkey may return for Happy Hour one day.... at the last minute.

It's been about two years since I've been to Bahama Breeze, so I was looking forward to eating there with a friend last week. Boy was I disappointed and if I could give my experience zero stars I would. From my previous visits to Bahama Breeze, the place was always busy. The parking lot was always full to where you had to park in the mall parking lot and there was always people waiting to be seated. On this visit (Friday night), the parking lot was not full and no one was waiting for a table. This should have been the first sign that something was not right and to find another place to eat. The place was so slow that one of the waiters greeted us as we were walking up the stairs to the restaurant. We decided to eat in the deck area by the fire and there was plenty of empty tables. My first complaint was the area was so dark I had a hard time reading the menu. The second thing was the music was so freaking loud. So loud that I had a hard time hearing my friend talk even though she was yelling. I also noticed that it was so loud that the wait staff were yelling at each other which made for a very loud dining experience. We even asked if the music could be turned down, but it wasn't. The food was lacking and not worth the price. For my meal I ordered three small plates: Ahi Tuna Stack, Hummus, and Firecracker Shrimp Taco. The Ahi Tuna stack was drenched in to much sauce, the hummus was this weird looking blob, and the firecracker shrimp taco lacked shrimp and seemed liked nothing but a mouthful of a BBQ-type sauce. In the end my friend and I couldn't get out of that place fast enough and I seriously doubt I'll ever eat their and will tell my friends no to eat here.

I never really gave Bahama Breeze a try because of where it's located but I came in the other night and Sophia was very sweet, and genuine. I love their happy hour! They're such a good deal! I tried their pork sliders, fried chicken sliders, and beef empanadas with bahamaritas to pair with the foods. The beef empanadas were eh but the pork sliders were so juicy and tender! I think each dish is around $5ish and seriously love their happy hour! Their regular dishes are pretty good too like their lobster and shrimp linguine, jerk chicken (the pasta or just chicken), and their salmon salad are safe dishes that you won't be disappointed with! :)

It's big, service is pretty quick and things are fairly inexpensive. We ended up in another area this time, where they had live music. The live music was a guy with a ukelele and it was deafening. We threw down some beer and some app's. Nothing special and nothing memorable. But the place has something, but it was packed. I don't know, one of the guys really wanted to come here, sort of like it was a great place to land for awhile. I think I disagree.

When I first started coming here, I actually really liked it, but the last 2 or 3 few visits have been disappointing. Today, for example, both of our orders were messed up, our iced tea ran empty, and my turkey burger had a very strange taste to it. Very over-processed, with so many caramelized onions on it that even after scraping off the majority of them, the bun fell apart from sogginess less than half way though. My friend had some chicken sliders, but only two small sliders arrived on the plate, atop naked buns (as in no sauce) and a lone pickle slice. The starter salad was nice once they got it right, but everything else fell short. Once my go-to before flight SeaTac restaurant - now the place I'll go to for convenience and nothing else.

Last night, we were "those people"--- we walked in at 9pm with a group of 9. We waited about 7 min while they decided where we were going to be sat. I didn't mind the wait---what I did mind was that while going to the bathroom I heard one of the staff members (not our server)complaining that they had to stay. They said they were about to get cut and go home when 3 tables walked in. I've been in the service industry before so I get it. But please, you came into work to make money. Anyhow, we had 2 servers assigned to our table. We were super simple--- we were starving, tired from jet lag and we knew what we wanted. One server (younger) was super sweet and attentive. The other (older, hispanic) was barely there. Everyone's food came out timely and seemed to enjoy their food---except for me. I ordered the creole chicken and chorizo pasta. The chorizo tasted like regular cheap ass sausage---completely not like chorizo. Chicken was barely there. I ordered the lighter portion which was still pretty big but I just wasn't interested in it at all. I gave it 3 stars because I was super disappointed in my food and because of service.

Giving this a 3 star because of staff. They seemed to be over whelmed when we walked in. It's very dis-enchanting to actually see that before eating. Now the food is good. The servers are okay the most. Most disappointing part is that my lemonade drinks are undrinkable. It was extremely sour but they did give me more of the purée to make it sweeter. I would consider coming back just because of the food (entrées). The appetizers are too overpriced. Like extremely.

Before ordering, the servers let us know their menu changed and I assume for the better! For lunch, I had their wood-grilled almond crusted salmon, cinnamon mashed sweet potatoes, Cuban sandwich, Bahamian seafood chowder and their fries. Everything tasted pretty decent but the fries. The fries were not crispy. Their Happy hour menu is pretty good! Prices are good for the amount of food you get! The portions of their happy hour appetizers are HUGE!! I definitely needed help finishing the habanero chicken wings and the key west nachos that was ordered! Their chicken quesadillas and tacos are good too. Their Ultimate Piña Colada and Frozen Bahamarita® drinks are pretty tasty! Super friendly servers! I'll definitely come here again for happy hour!

Corporate? Yes. Cheesy? Indeed. Humongous? Cavernous. Despite all of these negatives I was actually happily surprised with the quality of the food here. We had shared appetizer plates and I had fish tacos as my entree. And while everything was more american than traditional, it was also very tasty. We were here in a large (20+) party on a Friday afternoon. They gave us 3 dedicated servers and were very attentive and affable. If you are looking for a place to take the kids or just somewhere casual you can't go wrong with Bahama Breeze.

Never thought I'd find myself writing a review for Bahama Breeze...not because it never appealed to me, but because I thought it was just another cheesy chain restaurant, or somewhere like Red Robin. But damn. This place is bomb. Family, mi amor, and I went in on a Saturday night for dinner, and it was packed! It was loud, lively, and very...themed? First thought I had was, "yep...just another cheesy chain restaurant". Beyond the environment and crowd though, the food was so, so good. A lot of us at my party shared some food, and every bite I had was delicious! I tried the Seafood Paella (was a little on the dry side, but still very delicious), the Ropa Vieja sandwich, and the Jerk Chicken pasta. Every dish was comforting, wonderfully fattening, and lick-your-bowl-clean good. I'd go back just go have those 3 dishes again, but will probably want to branch out and try more. I've heard that happy hour there is quite a deal, so maybe i'll go there for that too....

Always enjoy the island feel of BB. Stopped in for lunch and enjoyed great, quick service and delicious food. Happy hour is awesome - appetizers are full size for half price. A great way to end a long day and/or host out of state business guests. I recommend the Skillet Simmered Jerk Shrimp with a bread loaf to soak up the juices! Spicy, buttery, yummy! They also post a recipe online so you can make your own version at home!!

Service was unbelievably bad at the bar, ordered the Jerk Chicken and was still red bloody inside the bartender did no ever come and check on use I had to tell one of the bus boys about the chicken he told the bartender and she STILL ignored us.....can you say attitude!! But I still left her a good tip cause I know it wasn't her fault just like it wasn't mine that the chicken wasn't cooked correctly.....

I've been to this place about 3 times now and service has usually been good, it was little bit slower tonight but overall not bad! As far as the menu and the taste of the food, I find it very good considering I try to eat organic or at least non-GMO when possible. Today I ordered the halibut which I know is wild caught wood grilled with the almond crusted lemon butter coating. I also had the cinnamon sweet mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus as side dishes. The fish tasted very good (some people may prefer the fish more moist) but I thought it was fine! I gave this restaurant an overall rating of 3 1/2 stars out of 5, I would have given it 4 if they had at least a couple of non- GMO dishes to choose from!

We've been here many times and B. Breeze has never disappointed us. Their service has always been outstanding and their menu items delicious. Today, we started with their conch appetizer. It was superb! A generous amount of conch within each fritter. Yum! Then I ordered the avocado and crab meat salad. Tastefully done!! My daughter ordered their butterfly shrimp done Panko style. Nice with their dipping sauce. Our server was Sophia and we loved her! She was very attentive and patient with all our questions. If you haven't had Caribbean food, come try this place.

It may not look like Hawaii when you enter, but you can see that they were at least trying to get at an island feel. I've always passed by this place whenever I went shopping at Southcenter Mall. I finally decided to try it out with my brother. On a Sunday evening, the wait was about 30 minutes. It felt tolerable and they had some seating for those waiting. We started with the Island Hopping appetizer. It's one of those plates that come with a little bit of everything on the appetizer menu. On the plate were wings, onion rings, fried conch, and coconut shrimp. There were also three kinds of sauces: BBQ, a mango sauce and a sweet/sour plum like sauce. The wings were really good and I was surprised. The meat was nice and tender and actually seasoned really well. I thought the coconut shrimp was mediocre. It was at least better than the coconut shrimp that I would find at the Asian buffets. I liked the onion rings which had a nice crunch on the outside with the piping hot onion on the inside. The conch fritter confused me though. I've never had conch before so this was a new experience. It was nicely fried on the outside and the inside was a bit mushy. There wasn't much of a seafood taste (but then again, I can't tell you what conch tastes like). I did notice pieces of vegetables on the inside with the conch so I'm not sure if that took some flavor away from the conch. Either way, the conch was just a confused bite to me. Our drinks came out after our appetizer. I settled for a strawberry daiquiri which had a refreshing feeling to it. I liked the powerful strawberry flavor that mostly masked the alcohol. There is still a little bit of an aftertaste of alcohol, but at least you know it's there. Disappointed that the strawberry garnish didn't taste like a fresh strawberry. My brother got a rum runner which was a beautiful color. I tried some of his and kind of wish I got one for myself. It didn't taste like alcohol at all. Just a nice blend of tropical juices both sweet and tart. Some of the entrees here come in a full portion and a lighter portion. The portion sizes are pretty big so I would recommend the lighter portion unless you are feeling ravenous. I got the mahi and shrimp rice bowl with lemongrass sauce. It comes with yellow rice which is puffed up and well seasoned. I didn't feel like it was overly salty (which is a good thing since then I don't have to drown in water). I liked the pieces of shrimp, but I wish there were more mahi mahi. I also loved the array of vegetables that added a nice crunch to every bite. The sauce was very light and fragrant and did not make the rice bowl soupy. My brother got the jerk chicken pasta which is highly loved by Bahama Breeze customers. It reminds me of an alfredo but with a kick to it. It is a cream based pasta with tender pieces of jerk chicken. Pasta was al dente, but overall, I could see the dish becoming a bit on the rich side at some point. Service was overall, good. We had a waiter in training with a trained waiter at his side. He was very friendly and bubbly. I loved his enthusiasm and humor. It took a little while for our drinks to come out, and then my brother's second drink took even longer to come out. Otherwise, water was refilled, food came out promptly and our check was taken quickly as well. They pack things up for you in to-go boxes if you don't finish and then draw on the cover. I don't think the drawing was necessary cause I got a scribbled attempt of a palm tree. I'd rather the waitress not waste her time. All this food ended up floating around $80 without tip. I would say the prices are more than your average place, but the portions are filling. Food here seemed overall, average (3 stars). Service was friendly so an extra star for that. Not bad of a place, although I wouldn't come here again if I was in the mood for authentic Hawaiian cuisine. I think there is better out there.

Before I thought Bahama Breeze was alright. That was until I discovered their happy hour! Bahama Breeze has an extremely unique drink menu, I don't drink alcohol, but because they have such an awesome creative drink menu, I am able to get a virgin drink where it basically would still a delicious fruity slushie. There's a bunch of appetizers for half price off so I like to come with a group of friends where we would just order a number of plates and share so there is variety. The Habanero wings are the go to. It isn't as spicy as you would expect it, but the sauce that comes with it is off the chain. I have no clue what it is, but this is not your typical wing plate that you get at Buffalo Wild Wings. Sorry, no offense. Aha. I think with everybody getting a drink, 2 plates of wings, and 3 other plates of random-ness between 5 people ended up being around 11 dollars a head. Not bad at all considering it did sent me to a food coma! Happy hour is 3-6 or 9-close Sunday-Thursday.

I've been here several times and I was never impressed. The only time I was happy here is during happy hour (maybe that's where the name comes from), so this is definitely a place to go for small snacks and good drinks. I came most recently because my parents wanted to go out for my bday dinner; it's close by, open late, a sit down restaurant with nice decor. Normally I would oppose but I was down 4 da functi0n. The service was nothing special. My bf and my parents drove separately so half the party came before the other. I let the hostess know we were still waiting for two people and her attitude made feel kind of stupid. She gave me this look and essentially told me to wait... Like, duh? That whole interaction was just unnecessary in retrospect. When we got seated, my mom ordered this platter appetizer, island hopper, that had chicken, onion rings, coconut prawns and conch fritters. Not impressed. The chicken was good though; hot and crispy. I ordered the lobster and shrimp linguine and I liked it a lot! It was filling and yummy. My bf got the steak churrasco. The chimichurri was too intense, and the steak was nothing special. It seemed a little over cooked, as he asked for medium rare. The rice that came with it was not good. The plantains were yummy, though! My parents got the seafood paella which tasted like the rice from my bfs plate. It was dry and the flavor wasn't impressive. I actually liked my moms baby back ribs and fries a lot! It's her go-to dish at this place... Kind of odd that a Jamaican themed restaurant does ribs better than their Jamaican themed food huh. The food wasn't horrible. It was just not up to par with expectations OR pricing. It's too pricey for what you get in terms of quality. It's like an expensive, themed Applebee's. Our server was just there to give us food. Not the friendliest, but not mean. No one checked up on us or asked if we needed anything else during our meal, and the place wasn't busy at all. My stomach hurt after eating here, and continued into the next day. I don't think I would ever choose to come here for a dinner. Maybe for happy hour, though!

I love Bahama Breeze. The best thing I like about this place is their drinks. I strongly recommend the drink that is in the fresh pineapple and the corona drink as well! As for the food, ordering the raw poke tuna is the way to go if you're into seafood. The staff are all very friendly and helpful in helping you order if you are a first timer!

Overall, Bahama Breeze (BB) is okay, in terms of food and service. BB is not a bad place to meetup with friends for happy hour, epecially if you're not particular where you eat. Service and food are sometimes a hit or miss, but my most recent experience was very good. ********* I've been here on multiple occasions for happy hour and their regular menu. HH is definitely where you get the biggest bang for your buck. The bar area in the back typically has a good/relaxing atmophere, with several fire pits. On very rare occasions, there might be a live band playing Jamaican music in the background. Per my multple visits before, I've tried the: -Habenaro chicken wings -Jerk chicken wings -Island Hopper -Lobster Quesadilla -Ahi tuna stack -Onion rings -Coconut shrimp -Other foods (that apparently weren't too memorable) -Apple bacon cheddar cheese burger -Various alcoholoc beverages, such as the Pina Colada, Margarita, coconut pineapple martini, and the Sangria ***PROS*** 1). Happy Hour (HH) is okay, and you usually find a table pretty easily during late HH (which starts at 9 pm). 2). Best ultimate Pina Colada I've ever had! You can barely taste the alcohol but that icy, sweet beverage is refreshing. One of my friends specifically comes to Bahama Breeze for the pina coladas. Another drink that is yummy is the coconut pineapple martini. For $4 / drink during happy hour, it's a steal! 3). Convenient location in the Southcenter mall area. ***CONS*** 1). A lot of food choices that are a bit overpriced for the quality. Example: Lately, the onion rings have been coming out borderline burnt with the onion being coated with too thick of a batter. 2). I'm don't like the jerk chicken wings - Everyone in my party has said the same thing before - We had to settle for this when they ran out of the Habenaro wings. Unfortunately, the flavor and seasoning profile of the jerk chicken just wasn't tasty. I've tried the jerk wings again since, and I'm still not a fan... 3). Whenever I order the Sangria specifically during happy hour, it seems like it's more watered down compared to non-happy hour times. 4). Wifi is pretty slow once you connect to the BB netork as a guest.

We came here for happy hour with a party of 10+ and had a great time! Prior to this I had never been to Bahama Breeze before so I didn't have much expectation. We ended up ordering one of each happy hour appetizer and WOW the portions were huge! Even though we didn't like a few of the dishes it was okay because now we know what to order! We love going to happy hour and I think this one is a great option for those who want a Happy hour with FOOD!! Happy Hour: MONDAY through FRIDAY 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. SUNDAY through THURSDAY 9 p.m. to close HALF-Price Appetizers & Drink Specials

I want to give this place a better rating but this last visit puts it at 3 stars. The food and atmosphere is delightful, and we've come back here numerous times because of this and it's convenient location, minus the chicken curry bowl (last night) that was basically too dry. The chick wings were large and yummy. Regrettably the service could have been better, from the minor hiccup as we receive a text that table is ready but the gal just had us standing there for a bit while she did...whatever, but ultimately the server is the one who missed the mark, rendering a 15% tip instead of our usual 20%+.

This place is cute and has a very nice Caribbean plantation sort of appearance. Diners were a very diverse crowd which is typically a great sign. The food didn't let us down. We ordered 2 dishes: Yellow Tail Red Snapper a la Veracruz (served with a delicious sweet plantain, yellow rice and flavorful black beans) & a Coconut Shrimp Taco plate with a side of fresh fruit and Mango Sorbet. We also tried a couple cocktails. I will surely return soon to try the awesome happy hour menu and for the conch fritters! Yum.

I stopped in with my wife, toddler and mother-in-law after making a trip to the airport. The location is nice because you can wait out traffic during peak traffic ours. We ordered a number of items off the happy hour menu, some good and some bad, here's my review: Food - Coconut Shrimp was delicious. They were big pieces and the dipping sauce had good zing to it (think lime, not spicy). - Warm spinach Dip & Chips was pretty blah. The dip wasn't that flavorful, could have used more salt and/or seasoning. - Tostones with Chicken wasn't good either. It's basically nachos made out of flattened plantains instead of chips. It's a really heavy dish and not easy to eat like nachos, it definitely requires a fork and knife. I didn't enjoy the flavors. - Adobo Chicken Street Tacos were very good! We got the Sriracha Mayo sauce on the side because one of us had a dairy allergy, but I recommend that so you can just dip the tacos in it. Otherwise the sriracha mayo would overpower all the other flavors. - Chicken Quesadilla - I think this one was just average. Beverages: - Frozen Bahamarita is a fun drink, looks beautiful and each of the flavors were strong and delicious. - Ultimate Piña Colada was the group favorite, although the least boozy. The coconut flavor is creamy and sweet, and the berry swirl goes well with the coconut. - Mojito Cubano was my least favorite of the 3 drinks but the booziest. I wish it had more of the sweetness I'm used to in the mojito. It was more acidic than sweet. Service was OK. Our server was very helpful in finding dairy-free options for my toddler, and she made sure that the chefs prepared food properly. However we had to chase her down several times for various requests and the food came out slowly.

My first time here and my experience was okay. I noticed the waiting staff was standing around and just talking to each other in the middle of the restaurant without acknowledging their tables nor checking if they needed anything else. The food and drinks were alright. Wouldn't come again.

We came here a couple of times because my experience in another location was perfect. But not this one... The food was not hot enough and nothing special compared to the one I was used to. The second time we came for dinner, our child order from the kids menu and it had a side of fruits. My kid got very sick during the night with nausea and the runs and it lasted until the next day. I don't know if it was my kid's food or what....But we have not returned.

Good menu selection and GREAT food. I like how they offer a good range of health conscious options (like actually fairly healthy) to hearty guilty pleasures. Service was pretty good but wait time took almost half an hour and I came in on a Sunday evening (about 8pm). Ordered: crab & avocado salad, grilled salmon with asparagus & yellow rice, chicken curry rice bowl, & bow tie jerk chicken pasta

Came here for lunch with a friend. Great service, checked in regularly, and it felt genuine. We both got a blended drink, cheese stuffed yuka fries, I got fish tacos, and my friend got coconut shrimp tacos. I had a side of the seafood chowder. Everything flavor-wise was spot on, seafood tasted fresh, and the drink was to die for! I live on the North end of Seattle, would be great it they made one up here! :)

Food was amazing, service was great, and the atmosphere was interesting. My girlfriend and I both got the Steak Oscar which included an 8 oz sirloin topped with lump crab meat, a side of mashed potatoes, and grilled asparagus. The steak was cooked to perfection (medium rare) and required only a few dashes of salt. The mashed potatoes had bits of potato skin inside and tasted authentic and delicious. We stayed long enough to grab some cheap $4 drinks off their late happy hour menu. The Cocochata (rum chata and coconut) was served in a coconut with the coconut meat still inside. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great tasting food in the $20 - $30 dinner per meal price range.

This is an ok place if you like a very noisy and nicely decorated environment with overpriced mediocre food. The restaurant itself isn't very big hence the loud chatter from everyone speaking in such a confined area. Even our waiter had to speak at the top of his voice to communicate with us. My fiancé and I each had a drink to start and the Strawberry Piña Colada I had was put in too small of a glass for the amount we paid. For $7.99 I would've expected a bigger glass that could probably hold only about 8oz. I had ordered the Spicy Beef Rice Bowl for my meal and it was ok with a decent sized portion, but flavor wise it just didn't hit the spot for me. For $14.99 I just wasn't satisfied for what I got. I was expecting a better crafted meal not some quickly made dish from some chain restaurant made under 5 minutes. Service was nice and quick with our waiter trying start a conversation with us at the beginning and at the end of our meal. Something I have rarely seen now a days. I haven't been back here in a long while and for how spendy the meal was I won't be back soon.

I've been here three times and love the back bar area with the cabana feel and fire pit - romantic and relaxing. Last time I had coconut shrimp tacos that were yummy! I'm not a rum drinker (gives me a headache) so find their cocktail choices challenging.

I felt like Bahama Breeze had so much potential. I haven't seen a whole lot of Caribbean food in the Seattle area, but I thought the food was mediocre at best. I was really craving plantains, and out of a menu with pages upon pages, I was shocked there were maybe 2 meals that included plantains. Crazy since that ended up being my favorite thing here! Service was also a little weird. The server just seemed so out of it. He wasn't mean or anything, but just seem inexperienced. There are so many restaurants near South Center Mall.. I think especially as a chain, this place needs to step it up.

Please note my review is based strictly on happy hour. This so far is one of the best happy hours I have come across in the south end. It was down right impressive! Food was only $5.00 and included Beef Empanadas, Pulled Pork Sliders, and Jamaican Chicken Wings. They run happy hour Monday thru Friday from 4:00-6:00pm. We sampled the Coconut Shrimp and the Chicken Sliders. Let's start with the coconut shrimp. The shrimp was perfectly coated with coconut and the dipping sauce was a mouth watering concoction of sweet and tangy. our plate was full of shrimp I counted 8. Now for happy hour that's pretty good. The chicken on the chicken sliders was the BEST fried chicken I have ever had. It was so juicy, crispy, with a kick of pepper. Yumm! Our plate came stacked with 5 sliders on sweet cuban rolls with citrus mayo on the side. Again, mouth watering. So let's recap, that was 8 butterfly shrimp and 5 sliders for $10.00! This was split between me and my better half and we were both so full we argued to make the other finish the last shrimp. On to the drinks.Classic cocktails (wells) were $3.00. We didn't dabble so I am not sure if they were good or not. Specialty Drinks were only $4.00 I highly recommend the Bahamarita (leave the triple sec out) and the Pineapple Coconut Martini. Beers were $2.00-$3.00 depending on size and selection and all wines are $2.00 off. Our total bill was just over $26.00 for our food order and 4 specialty drinks. Overall IMPRESSIVE!

Went here for a birthday. Atmosphere was nice, feels like you are in another country. I ordered a coco Rico or some kind of coconut rum drink. Sounded delicious. Tasted horrible. Barely any coconut flavor, looked milky but tasted like pure rum. My friend's strawberry mojito was good though. I ordered the salmon pasta with a Caesar salad on the side. Salad was good, except for the generic stale croutons . As for the salmon, the fish itself was delicious. It is in small chunks stirred into the Bowtie pasta. However the sauce was very lemony. Too lemony actually. And I usually love adding lemon or limes to everything (I make my pho broth taste like lime soup). But this overpowered the sauce and salmon. No real taste to the sauce either as it lacked any depth or richness. Good thing I got only the half portion. Filled me up but wasn't really worth it.

I've only had dinner at this place once so I wouldn't mind coming back to try other parts of their menu. I ordered the BBQ baby back ribs. I've been a baby back rib lover ever since I was a little kid. Growing up in California, the best place for ribs was Tony Romas, so I always make comparison whenever I venture out to different restaurants. The meat was tender and the sauce was sweet and tangy. Overall, the ribs here are not that bad! I enjoyed the food and the quality of service that was given. This place has a unique, happy, vacation-esque atmosphere. Parking can get a little crowded though.

LOVE THIS PLACE! I used to live in Arizona and never ate at this chain, then one day they all went away and turned into Red lobster. So I was happy to see this chain once again while living in Washington. I was actually a little surprised at how good their food was! I've tried a lot of things on the menu and haven't found anything I didn't like. They have a nice Happy Hour menu, and even a great selection of skinny drinks! On top of that they have GREAT service. They also have a cool fire pit like area. This gives them cool points in my book PS The Key Lime Pie is to die for!

Husband and I stopped by here on date night for some happy hour deliciousness. I have to say I was rather pleased. The decor is fun and not too cheesy, trying to make you feel like you are somewhere tropical. The staff was friendly and speedy. They don't have a wide variety of beers on tap, but they do have a full bar and good prices for happy hour. 20 oz draft beer for $3 is quite a steal. We ordered the buttermilk chicken sliders and the firecracker shrimp. The shrimp were amazing, we gobbled them up fast. the dipping sauce is something I would like to bottle up and take home. The chicken sliders came with an interesting citrus mustard sauce that was good but a little too heavy on the orange for my taste. Overall it was a pleasant experience and we look forward to going back and trying more happy hour appetizers.

Here is a great escape from the typical "Tukwila" scene! Bahama Breeze has a great selection of food on the Happy Hour Menu that I was never aware of. With these warm summer nights, its great to have a local spot that plays live music and has a semi-outdoor feel. It's nice to come to a place full of people aged 30-50, who are just looking for a nice relaxing night out. Maybe the service here isn't top-notch, but the vibe and food are worth the visit. With the ambiance of the fire pit and live band, you could quickly forget you're in Tukwila.

We really enjoy the food here. We wanted to do the rehearsal dinner for our wedding at Bahama Breeze. They were listed in multiple local wedding books. We went in and they quoted us a minimum of $7500 to reserve an area. They also were only willing to reserve seats in the bar area. The manager was quite short with us and not very friendly. We took our business to Anthony's in Des Moines who were much more reasonable and willing to accomodate us.

I used to frequent this place when I worked in the area. Now that I live up north I rarely get to go but when I do, I'm always satisfied. If you like spicy wings, you can't go wrong with the habenero bbq wings. Seriously, it's my favorite. The dipping sauce for it is a perfect cool down for the lips/mouth. I always sit in the bar because service is always a bit more prompt. By service

I love this Cuban sandwich and have yet to find one on the West Coast which give BB a run for the money. So, when in Seattle and near the airport, this is a strong move. It helps that they've fixed the entrance/exit on/off ramps to the freeway! Great service and good parking!

Coconut shrimp and chicken wings are my vice. Not so much gaudy Hawaiian shirts. Bahama Breeze gets 5 stars in service, our waitress drew cute little sea creatures on our to-go containers and was very attentive and friendly. And even our non-alcoholic drinks were fruit-tastic and brimming with strawberry puree, fresh lemons, etc, etc. Unfortunately, the food is pretty down right mediocre. The Jamaican Jerk chicken wings were each about the size of my entire hand. Quantity for your money yes but bland until dunked in the accompanying spicy BBQ sauce. Fish tacos were ehhhhh - they were on par with any old Taco Del Mar which is not a good sign. But the place is great for groups, a good central location with fun Caribbean music thumping away. It seems like a consensus that the prices are fair, drinks are tasty but the food is nothing to write home about.

ALWAYS passed by this place but never came here for some reason. Last week, my friend and I came here 3 days in a row..I think that says something about this place! First of all, LOVE the relaxed feel of this place the moment you walk in. LOVE the $3 tequila shots ( what a steal ). Their frozen alcoholic drinks are good too. The habanero wings are YUM and the coconut prawns are so meaty! The servers are AMAZINGGGG. SO excited to come to this place every time because there is always something I want next!

They try hard. The atmosphere is a little over the top, but they have decent food and ok alcohol (beer selection is pretty lean). The lobster and shrimp quesadilla is good. The butterfly shrimp are huge and also really good. I can't think of a dish that wasn't good. Service is always great. While this isn't a must see kind of place, there are definitely upsides (like the fireplace by the bar). Regardless, worth a visit.

While everyone flocks to the new places at the mall the waiting times here have started to go down during the day on weekends making it a great stop before or after shopping. Bright and sunny during the day, really crowded and hectic at night. We have left twice on week nights during the holiday season when the front desk staff have lost the page with our names on it... see heard of angry customers... see herd walking out all at once (1 star deduction - would have been another star, but I read the other reviews here and should have known better) The food has always been terrific... we don't drink alcohol, but the iced tea is full of flavor and the soda refills come quickly. My most recent favorite is the scallops and corn cakes... nice change of pace from seafood and rice standards... with a great jicama slaw side dish.

The food is good but for some reason this restaurant doesnt come to mind when thinking of places to go and eat. The decor is a little tacky. Anyways, I've tried habanero chicken wings and the bacon cheeseburger. Both were good.

Bahamas Breeze is a pretty standard, run-of-the mill, chain restaurant. The food is ok, I've never had anything bad and have always had great service. I haven't had anything on their menu that was particularly amazing. From the pastas, sandwiches, soups and salads, it all seems pretty standard for a chain restaurant. But I will Say that they've been pretty accommodating when we've had large parties. They'll usually seat us even if the entire party isn't there yet. They're pretty good about taking and processing the order for parties with 10+ people. So you're not waiting for forever to get your food. And they're pretty amenable to splitting the check however you need it split.

Nothing really wrong here. Been here quite a few times but still relatively infrequently simply because while it has a few items I like, I still feel like the menu is a bit limiting. They have a great drink menu, but slightly on the expensive end in comparison to other restaurants. Food quality is perfectly fine, tasty, service has always been quite sufficient. Sometimes the wait for a table is very long. Honestly their popularity exceeds what you'd expect given their menu. It's one of those places that could be great if the menu had a little more depth. I don't eat seafood (allergies) so steak, chicken, burgers, etc are what I look at. And while BB has options they are competing to a large degree with BJ's and Cheesecake Factory in the same mall. Both of those have very extensive menu's (nearly the opposite problem with too many choices) but BB just seems a little thin and it hasn't changed since they've opened. Add something new once in a while, have a monthly rotating menu ala Red Robin, something. Mix it up a little. Like I said the food is good, service is fine, great drink menu (lots of depth on the drink menu). Just need some depth and options on the menu.

I went here with the fam bam, had yucca fries. These are hands down best ever! Perfect texture and taste. Our server was Chris he was fantastic. Really down to earth and attentive. Ask for him :). Also the desert is to die for, my family picked out a couple we could all share and enjoy. You'll love it

Been here twice and both times it was for happy hour. I never realized how much I loved this place or else I would have come back a lot more often! Their Bahamarita is SO FREAKING GOOD! The mojitos and pineapple-coconut martinis are delicious, too! Never been to a better place for coconut shrimp. The Jamaican Grilled Chicken wings are great, too!

Had lunch here earlier this week. I have never heard of this place, but I guess it's a chain restaurant. Located in the Southcenter Mall parking lot (near the Nordstrom's), it's pretty easy to find. I can't put a finger on what class this restaurant wants to be though..it's part Red Robin/TGIFridays-feel and part classier. They offer valet parking? We parked ourselves though. Inside we were seated immediately. The place was busy! We were seated at a large table towards the back. Our server was pretty "on"..offering refills and checking on our food. Our group ordered--Key West fish tacos, Grilled chicken sandwich, Crispy chicken cobb, and Flatbread (looks like pizza). The tacos were fair. Tilapia is an average white fish. I prefer cod or halibut, but that would have been more expensive. The avocado placement was inconsistent though. There was none in the first (I forgot it was even supposed to be there). A bunch in the second, and a sliver in the third. The side of yellow rice and beans was just eh, I should have gotten a salad or even the fries. The grilled chicken sandwich came with three generous pieces of bacon (WOO bacon!) and fries. The server also remembered the 'dressing on the side' bit and so we all had our dressing separately, I appreciate that. I didn't sample the salad or flatbread, but both were good in portion, looked tasty, and the people enjoyed eating them. We had eaten pretty quickly due to needing to conduct some business. They were cool with us sitting there for about another 30mins talking about paperwork and still offered us refills...which is great! How many places just write you off after you pay, right? Prices were about $15 for the entrees. A nice place, I don't typically go to Southcenter, but if I find myself asking "Where should I meet so-n-so in Southcenter"..I will say Bahama Breeze. :) The restrooms were very posh and clean. Large individual stalls and they had hair spray, mouth wash, lotion, and other random stuff for use.

Price was fantastic, atmosphere was a little loud but nice and cozy, and the Seafood Paella - OMG!!!!!! A HUGE portion and so incredibly delicious! It had tons of seafood in there, I was actually not just impressed but surprised! Restaurants seem to advertise that you're getting a lot and then when you get the plate or dish it's less than expected. I was truly astonished at how much there was in there, and it was simply delicious...I got to take some home! We'll definitely return for more of that.

Had an amazing lunch here with our server Tyler. Friendly, caring, not over bearing, considerate and quick. Even with a fractures dominate hand! He gave us good advice on the food and cocktails and decently glad we took it! Amazing food, good portions, and very savory. Thank you Tyler!!

Wow. I guess third times' a charm! I wasn't very happy with the food here in the past but came here last night after my workout because I had a gift card to use. Service was great. Our server was attentive, prompt, and our waters always got refilled. About the food: We ordered the Jamaican Grilled Chicken wings to start. We expected it to be the little wings but no, it was the whole wing with the drumlets and wing tips! Very meaty and moist, nice little char around the edges. The dipping sauce was a spicy bbq and it was delicious. Get this here! Sooo good... Came with WET NAPS! My new favorite spot for wings. I didn't fancy any of the entrees so got the burger cooked medium done with American Cheese and added bacon. The burger was mouth watering delicious! I had to eat it without the top bun because it was so big. Also because I had to cut some carbs because I ate all the fries too! They were like McDonald's fries but better!!! YUM! My boyfriend had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken sliders. It came with 4 sliders with some sauce. I had a bite and felt it was pretty plain and boring compared to my awesome burger. I couldn't finish my burger so my boyfriend happily gobbled up the rest of it for me. Yay. We were happy and full and I really wanted to try the key lime pie but had no room left for dessert. Gah.... Will return again. The music and vibe of this place just puts me in a chill mood. I love Bob Marley and Jack Johnson while eating.

The food and drinks were pretty good. Nothing crazy special, but they weren't awful by any means. The service wasn't all that wonderful but it was also that awkward not lunch, but not quite dinner time so that may have had something to do with it.

Recently came with a group of about 20 at 9:30pm on a saturday to celebrate a birthday. I never come here because I've never really liked their food. This time, tried fish tacos and cuban sandwich, both were excellent! They have won me back as a patron! Oh, and good fries, too! Service was great considering how big our group was and they split the checks up without batting an eye. I love that.

My review is going to be short and simple. Bahama Breeze is great for two things: Drinks and wings. The drinks are fruity and expensive, yet refined and incomparable. Think: Jamba Juice meets booze. AWWWW YEAH! The jerk chicken wings set the bar for wing size and flavor. This isn't the traditional buffalo wing size. This is an adult, full grown chicken wing with a dry jerk seasoning coating its beautiful skin, grilled to a crisp. Eight wings are MEAL size, where I need to order twenty four at Buffalo Wild Wings to feel the same level of fullness. After devouring a plate of wings, an old man walked by and saw the plate of bones scattered across my plate. He noted, "Did you fucking order a whole chicken?". Get the jerk wings.

Wonderful atmosphere. It really does feel tropical. We were lucky enough to get a table in the "cabana" area, which has an awesome firepit and big glass windows that slide open. Even palm trees! In Seattle! Started with jerk wings and a side of habanero sauce. Wings were full sized 1/4 chickens! Sauce was hot, but not overly. Balanced nicely with sweetness. Conch fritters were unique. Haven't seen these on the west coast - ever. Kind of like a crab cake, but fluffier with a hint of fruitiness inside. Main course was a carnitas rice bowl. Fresh fresh flavors were my impression. Nothing overwhelming or overpowering. A nice mix. My takeaway is that Bahama Breeze emphasizes fresh, natural ingredients and authentic caribbean flavors. Kids really loved the place too. Only negative was the Vanilla Vanilla shake. Tasted like blended ice and milk.

I have had a long food connection with Bahama Breeze mostly in Florida and it was good to find one here in WA. You see I am from the Caribbean (Jamaica) and this restaurant does a good job of representing the nation with its scrumptious dishes. While it falls short when compared to my mama's cooking it does hold its own and the quality and taste of the food is just as consistent with its sister restaurants on the east cost. Our server was friendly and always smiling, it would be nice if they had online reservations instead of a call ahead service but the fact that they didn't charge corkage fee on my bottle of wine was a plus for me.

The menu has changed a lot since I came last. No more Chicken Santiago boo!!! Besides that their cobb salad was great, lots of toppings and pumpkin seeds! Service was ok, our tropical drinks excellent and not too pricy. My friend got a cilantro chicken dish that was good. Order the smaller portion and their is still enough food just a smaller price!

I was NOT, looking forward to coming here tonight. I knew in the pit of my stomach that the ham and eggers I work with would probably looooove to try it. So we came here. The place is ginormous. They have two bars and a private room with a fire place. (we didn't sit in that area) We sat in the second bar in the back with live music. Live music as in some 50 year old white guy playing the ukulele. It was almost to good of ukulele playing to be real. I think he was lip sinking. We did not eat dinner. We had appetizers and drinks. Surprisingly good. Some of the best onion rings I have had. Big thick cut ones and the fried on crust actually stayed glued onto the onion when you cut it. Came with two yummy dipping sauces, one sweet one savory. Then we had the Grilled Chicken Quesadilla. Also very good. Split between 3 people. I had their house beer called the Aruba Red. Pretty good. I wanted two but I thought that I would be on good behavior tonight. I did however have hot chocolate with Kahlua and whipped cream. I also wanted two of those but I kept it in moderation. Again I ordered some grilled chicken for breakfast tomorrow. We will see how good that is as a left over. They came with sweet potatoes which is what I really wanted anyway.

I love the Tommy Bahama vibe of this Caribbean-themed restaurant, in spite the fact that it's totally one of those restaurants you find next to or inside a mall, wedged between the Cheesecake Factory and Maggiano's. The "Cuban" food here is not so great however. The Cuban sandwich is a bust. The bread is pretty good - toasted and a little sweet - but inside it's just a ham and swiss cheese sandwich. There's none of the flavorful roast pork that makes a Cuban sandwich. We also tried the tostones, which is supposedly from Puerto Rico, but came out like nachos with fried plaintains instead of tortilla chips. It's an Americanized fusion dish that was weird but tasty enough. The best Cuban-inspired dish was the fried yucca, which they added a strong truffle flavor to. Again - weird, but good. The other dishes I tried were pretty tasty. I especially liked the fried chicken sliders. The chicken was perfectly fried and moist, Southern-style. The drinks are also tasty - you can get pina coladas here for about $6, and they're pretty strong!

I'm so glad this place isn't closer to me or I would have to roll myself home! I was taken here on a recent date, and I must say, the boy has good taste! We sat in the gazebo so that we could still feel the warm rays of the sun, and listen to the live music. We decided to split the buttermilk fried chicken and the cilantro cream chicken. I did not want to pass over the cilantro cream one after I'd eaten my half! It was so amazing, and the potatoes that came with it were delicious. The buttermilk fried chicken was yummy as well, but it could not compare to the previous dish. Paired with good service, a well-made strawberry mojito, and excellent company, this place rocks!

I don't know much about Caribbean cuisine aside from jerk chicken and seafood, but this place certainly reinforced the entirety of my assumptions despite my lack of knowledge and ignorance. The place family friendly restaurant has a laid back flair with the decor of palm trees and happy-go-lucky employees who are helpful and equally cheery. I've been here twice. The first time, I tried their Lobster and Shrimp Linguine. What I like about this place is that they offer two portion sizes: half size portions if you are less hungry, and a full portion for just a few dollars more. Also, the view of the open kitchen curved my curiosity of their kitchen etiquette. The food arrived piping hot with a pile of creamy sauce full of crustacean on top of al dente pasta along with a piece of garlic bread. Portion size wise, it was plenty and I managed to eat most of it. The only thing that kept me from devouring the entire plate was my drink, an ultimate Piña Colada, which was sweet and refreshing and I couldn't stop drinking it. The second time, I had their salmon platter, which had a healthy portion along with grilled vegetables. The fish was cooked perfectly, not dry and wrapped in parchment paper to capture the aroma of my choosing (lemon butter). I also had a chance to their jerk chicken this time. All the favors were there, however, I'm disappointed with the small portion since it's only available as an appetizer. Overall, my experiences here were pleasant, but not enough to entice another visit any time soon. There are plenty of places for overpriced seafood, and I would rather spend it eating sushi instead of trying shrimp cooked in five different ways.

I've been here now I think three times, maybe four, over the last 18-24 months. Once or twice with family, two or three times with friends. It's been pretty consistent. Bottom line: A chain restaurant that only has one location. So, yeah--a theme restaurant at the mall. Can this place be useful to you? Absolutely. Most of us find ourselves near the mall at some point over the course of a year or two. And occasionally those visits will involve getting something to eat. If that circumstance doesn't apply, well, this place IS near the airport and can be useful to you that way. It's right off two freeways and an easy-to-find rendezvous spot. You notice I haven't talked about the food yet? OK. I will now continue not to talk about the food. First thing that stands out about this place, other than the huge lines of people waiting for tables, is the really cool structure they built. It's enormous, and the whole thing is shot through with that cabana feel--pitched roofs, rounded corners and walls, hurricane shutters on the windows. Really nicely executed. You get inside and the spaces are big, even bigger than they look from outside, and the ceilings are super high everywhere you look. There's a lot to be said for what they're doing here with the physical plant. The service is friendly, maybe even chipper, and efficient. They're certainly just working at a job, rather than at a place where they're building a personal rapport with regulars, but they're good at what they're doing, from the host station back through front of the house to the bar. The food? Well...eh. I have had a couple of fried-ish appetizers and some fish something or other, and I think a salad at some point. Other than the salad, everything was a little bit salty for my taste. It was pretty much all from a bag. Y'know. Chain restaurant. I am sure there's some scratch prep or other happening back there for some of the dishes, but I'll just leave it at saying that this place has a lot to recommend it as a fun joint where you can hang out. The beer selection won't dazzle you, and the food won't do much for you, but there's nothing wrong with being in here hanging out with friends.

Just like a mini-vaca! We always come here for a good time and it always puts a mile on our face :) The drink list is HUGE and amazing! I have never had a bad one. Same with the food. I usually get the shrimp and lobster linguine. Its to die for! A great drink that I enjoy is the frozen Bahamarita! Cuervo Gold Tequila, kiwi, strawberry and mango ices. yummmm! My boyfriend usually gets the HUGE rack of ribs which are great and the coconut shrimp is a good appetizer! When you are done with dinner, and have leftovers, they put it into a to-go container the every server we have had puts a fun picture that they draw on it! I'm not sure if it is only weekends or certain days, but it seems like everytime we go, there is live music which is great!

I've always liked this restaurant. Food is often good, neat entrees, appetizers and desserts, attractive space. But they changed their menu! Maybe they needed to do it, I don't know. but some of my faves are gone and I don't like it as much as I used to. Still, at its worst, I give it three stars.

The food was mediocre but they were very attentive to our table and kind to us. Despite the food I keep coming back because of the patio. They have a super large patio area that's covered. It has a cool vibe it makes you feel like you are at a beach resort. It even has a large fire pit. It's an awesome place to hang out and grab a drink. Despite the lack of good food the ambience and the service are excellent, you should definitely grab a drink here if you're in the area.

I came here with my mom 3 days ago. I ordered Calypso Shrimp Linguine and she ordered a lunch combination of Chicken Tortilla Soup and Chicken & Vegetable Quesadilla. My meal was extremely delicious and I really enjoyed it. The portion was pretty big, so I brought half of it home to eat for dinner. My mom's soup and quesadilla was enjoyable as well, however, half of the quesadilla was soggy; we think maybe some of the soup spilled out onto the plate when the waitress was carrying the food to our table, which caused the quesadilla to sit in soup for a while and get soggy. I also had coffee which was meh but I didn't really expect it to be good. Our waitress was funny and nice and her service was excellent though!

2 visits both in evening, How I rate both as follows: 1st nite: Ordered my drink Alabama Slammer she put Seagrams7 in it.. yuck! the fact she was heavy handed on her pours made up for taste. Appetizer- Firecracker Shrimp score 10 out of 10. 2nd nite: Ordered Amaretto/Cranberry, Easy drink, No way to screw up. Appetizer- SS Jerk Shrimp 2 out of 10, Inedible due to shrimp being over cooked! Chewy consistency, Very nice bartender who took my order asked me how I liked the appetizer I politely told her it was not a winner, she graciously informed her mgr and did not charge me. Overall service rating I give 10 out of 10. Cannot say the same for the food due to only having tasted a few appetizers... I would return..

This place actually isn't so bad. Me and my friend went there during happy hour around 5pm so food was inexpensive. We ordered the jerk chicken, lobster shrimp quesedilla, coconut shrimo, and upside down chocolate pineapple cake. I liked that we didn't have to order any drinks inorder to order from the happy hour menu. Ahem Applebee's...not pointing fingers :D. Anyways the jerk chicken was very flavorful. It was crispy and juicy. But I did not like the dip it came with. Just eat the chicken by itself, it's got plenty of flavor. The quesedilla was very yummy, they put big chunks of shrimp and lobster and not just like a couple pieces. Moving on to the coconut shrimp, also good, it was sweet and crispy and I liked the dipping sauce it came with. Finally for the pineapple cake, very moist. Theirs a chocolate ganache filling in the middle with some tropical fruits and cherry sauce on the side. Then the pineapple and whip cream on top. This cake doesn't look appetizing, but trust me it's good. Service was average. Our waiter was pretty quick and the food came out quick. Although we didn't see much of our waiter after our food came out he did pop back and dropped off extra napkins without us asking. Now as far as the restaurant goes, I like the decor and environment in and out. It truly owns up to its name. As for the food. It didn't really scream out Bahamas or tropical to me. Just felt like your eating at a typical American restaurant but better quality.

Just went here a couple weeks ago, and was a little disappointed. Went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon, it was a nice day, and we wanted nice breezy outdoor-ish seating, so we thought Bahama Breeze Bar area is outside-ish. Well, the outdoor bar doesn't open until 4pm folks. 4pm, on a Sunday. Sunday, the day where people have the day off, and want to enjoy the weather. Womp, Womp. We sat inside at the bar. Good for people watching, not good for relaxation. Coconut Shrimp is very good. Hummus is delicious.

First time going here - pretty neat atmosphere, typical family friendly restaurant. Some items a little over priced but the menu selection is decently large and there's pretty reasonable meals on there for $10 to $15 dollars. I had the Cuban Sandwich - it was large, but lacked a little flavor. Three of us shared the big Island Hopper (I think that's what it was called) appetizer - it was pretty good but a little over priced at $20. It's great though if you're looking for variety. Dad got the mushroom burger - came with a lot of fries and it was big. Said it was pretty good. The drinks here were very very cheap. Almost half the costs as most other restaurants - $10 for a double grey goose. This was definitely a plus. There's a lot of parking but was decently busy for a Thursday night dinner - only had to wait maybe 2 or 3 minutes for a table. Great staff - messed up an order but got it corrected. Very friendly.

Came here for dinner and it just so happened to be happy hour! I highly suggest coming here for happy hour, there's half off appetizers and the drink specials are amazing! 14oz draft beer for $2, 20 oz for $3 or a selection of mixed drinks for $4 are my favorites! I ordered the Jamaican wings for an appetizer. The meat on the wing was delicious...the skin however, was a different story. I felt like my dog when she tries to rip apart her plush toys...it was just too tough to handle. As for the main course, I got the fish tacos..I gotta say, don't be deceived by the picture. I think the picture showed the fish deep fried, but it was grilled. The tacos were okay...there wasn't much taste to them, but they were pretty filling. So if you're looking for something that's savory...I would steer away from the fish tacos. The service was really good, the hosts were nice and friendly and we were seated promptly. The best part of this restaurant is the fact that the waiters/waitresses draw on your take home containers. I left with a sail boat and a flower, so looking at your left overs is a bit exciting.

Came here 3 times now and have been very disappointed everytime. First time, it was decent. Since it was our first time, we didn't know what to order, so we asked our waiter for suggestions. He didn't seem to know what he was talking about. And all he did was say a name of a dish. He didn't explain why he is recommending it nor what was in it. We had to look it up on our menu and he stood there, looking bored. Second time, I did a take out, the food was all soggy by the time I got home. Mainly because they did NOT close the lid on the salsa for my quesadilla. Extremely upset. Third time, which was today. I was holding a baby with one hand, and holding my toddler's hand with the others. Walked in, no greeting or anything. I wanted their help in locating my party because it was dark and I did not want to lounge around with babies, looking at every table, super hard. But they ignored me. They helped 2 customers before they even knew I was standing right there. I said excuse me twice, there were THREE people behind the host desk, but nobody responded back to me. My family ended up seeing us when she was heading to the bathroom. The waiter was a jerk. Never asked me about anything, looked mad when I told them I wanted to order, and he didn't even refill our water.

Been here a few times now. The idea of the restaurant intrigues me but Food is ok, drinks are no good. Alcoholic beverages seem to be watered down, barely any flavor. I had the appetizer firecracker shrimp street tacos, really tasty but came to the table slightly room temp...somewhat unappetizing. Ridiculously over priced. For 3 drinks, 2 entrees and an appetizers nearly $80!!! (Food not worth the price) Probably won't be going back.

I've been here a couple times with friends and I mean it's good but the food isn't really memorable the thing that i do love here is the chicken empanadas there soo good and the dipping sauce that comes with is super good too. Also I love the jerk chicken pasta and the beef rice bowl is really good.. But that's honestly that's about it...

For a chain restaurant, the food was all right. The menu is a decent size, all Caribbean food. However, the service is less than average. First, the positive. I had the Mahi Mahi with mashed potatoes, asparagus, and shrimp. The fish was watery but fresh and cooked well, although the wrong topping was on it - a mystery, bland green seasoning instead of the mango salsa I ordered. The potatoes were just ok. The asparagus didn't have any seasoning, but it was fresh. The plantain appetizer was good. I wouldn't order it again though. I had the chocolate cake which is good, a small portion with a strange milky substance on the plate. My friends all reported that their dishes were great. I made reservations online for the group. When I arrived and checked in at the host stand, there were 5 people standing there. I spoke first instead of being acknowledged. After I gave my reservation info, the host said ok then another one clued in and asked me for it again. After I repeated my name and number in the group, he repeated back a different first name and group number. Again, I told him the info and a hostess pointed it out for him on the monitor. Then another hostess finally said she would seat me. Our waitress was either new to her role or didn't care. I asked a passing waitress to find ours because after waiting 30 minutes to order, she still hadn't asked for what we wanted. She didn't greet us or introduce herself. We had to constantly ask for refills. One hour passed while I waited for her to show up or any server near us to get more water. She tried to take my friend's plate away while she was in the middle of eating. When I told her my fish arrived with the wrong sauce, she brought me the right one - 20 minutes later. The server that brought the appetizer didn't bring any plates to the table. After a few minutes of us waiting, the waitress appeared to see if we liked the appetizer. My friend asked for plates, to which the waitress replied, "Oh, you want some plates?" The server who brought my dessert forgot a utensil so I immediately said I needed a fork but he had already taken off. My friend gave me her unused salad fork. The waitress came by after I was halfway done and asked if I wanted a spoon. I was eating a piece of cake. And was halfway done. The ambiance of Bahama Breeze is intended to be tropical. I think they meet the intention but in the chain restaurant fashion. The west end of the building has a fireplace. The bar is pretty cool. They have a large parking lot with a curved driveway for front door dropoff. The mall next door has more parking if needed. I would come back here if a friend really wanted to but on a quiet night when the mistakes would be fewer. Food: 3 Service: 1 Ambiance: 3 Parking: 4

A friend and myself sporadically decided to stop by for lunch one day and were impressed with the cleanliness and friendly staff. Our waitress was very attentive and explained their specials and favorite dishes once she learned it was our first time. We both ordered the Seafood Paella, which was a pretty big fish, and although it wasn't the best Paella I have ever had it was good for the type of restaurant. The dish was a bit dry and the sausage a bit salty for my liking but overall delicious. I would recommend Bahama Breeze for all ages.

Bahama Breeze looks pretty awesome from the outside and when you come in. It feels like I'm in Hawaii and they play the music that can also give that illusion as well. When I came here for the first time, I was pretty excited because I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The problem is that was the only good thing about this place. The menu was a little overwhelming. To be honest I couldn't really come to a conclusion on what to get. I was told by my coworker that the coconut shrimp was what they were known for. It took a while to get our order and overall the service sucked and they clearly were not ready to serve a group of 10. The staff wasn't the friendliest, I remember asking if the food was coming soon (it was 30 minutes after we ordered at this point) and she just replied "soon". I ordered the coconut shrimp and it tasted like the coconut shrimp I buy at Costco. This was the last experience I will have at Bahama Breeze.

Haven't been here for a while and I was pleasantly surprised that things were still pretty great around here! Decided to meet up with a large group of friends and family since Joey's couldn't accomodate us a week ahead.. (no shade, lol) We just needed to call 30 minutes prior to arrival with how many people. Walking in we saw that most of our party present waiting in the bar area and they were clearing the tables to seat us. As we were about to be seated we realized that we had a couple more than we had said and the round table seating didn't seat us all so they were able to get a larger table for ALL of us within a short wait! YAY! I had to order the Seafood Paella, it has been a while! it was a close toss up with the Jerk Chicken.... split a caesar with the Hubs and that was a pretty good size for a split. Food came out and it was a good as I remember!! Drinks were flowing as well and our 2 waiters did a pretty good job taking and fulfilling our orders. The ambiance is very trendy, which is what to expect, it is loud so conversations doesn't travel too far. Almost a 5 star except that my waiter seemed to be irritated that he placed my food on my cousin's bill sitting next to me? Really? Upon receiving the correction, I noticed he added one of my cousin's drink onto our bill? Finally after the 3rd try he got it right but didn't give me a detailed bill, which I thought was fishy so I requested it and I got the side eye and whispering to his collegue!!??!! I still tipped him well but not as much since that def was a not so great ending last impression!!!

I'll always have a special place in my heart with the Bahama Breeze in Southcenter because it's where I met the love of my life for the first time. We still go on occasion... great happy hour, awesome food, good drinks, and fun and tropical atmosphere.

Food is decent. Drinks are decent. Huge portions! I usually come here for happy hour since the portions are smaller and reasonably priced. I'm a fan of fried foods and they make awesome coconut crusted onion rings.

Date night. We ordered Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wings (8 whole wings- Too much), Key West Fish Tacos, and Ahi Tuna Stack. They are all delicious. The strawberry lemonade is a little sour but good.

Bahama Breeze Tukwila is not the place to go if you have a large group. The staff seemed generally disorganized, lacked energy or excitement and seemed irritated when asked for help. Had to ask for silverware to be delivered, after the meal was brought to the table and was not provided with menu suggestions when a discontinued item was ordered. I understand large tables are a lot of work and the location was very busy with homecoming large tops; however, it is the managers job to correctly staff the location and be prepared. I never saw the manager or anyone resembling a manager working which could indicate a lot about the experience. The host station had large groups of staff huddled together; however, the actual dining room was understaffed. When one group member asked one of our two servers for help she snapped I will be with you in a minute. She never apologized for the delay and came back with "yes". This was a request for them to order a drink. Bahama Breeze this location was amazing five years ago, what has happened since then?

American Food with Hawaiian setting! Their service is the best. Fast, Caring and Grateful to their customers; if not then you might out of luck that day. Been here three and love it every time! We love their Burgers! Their buns are handmade, it's fluffy but not too soft with golden brown color buns. The best thing is they come with your choose of sides: soup, salad, fruit salad with mango sorbet or original french fries for on $10-$13. We usually get the BBQ Black Bean (veggie), Portobello and Manchego Cheeseburger and other seafood choices! They also have banana bread with ice cream for dessert which is sweet pleasure.Yum! It's very spacious but always feel so warm too! Also it's very close to South Center mall so you can feast yourself after your legs get tired!! Tips: +If you over 21: There is self-seated near the fire stove +come here with a group of 4 or less

Every time I come here I feel like am in a nice tropical place. The staff doesn't do well with large parties. And the wait is so annoying even when we call before and make reservations. The people in the front desk are not that friendly. I have tried the empanadas there and they are not bad. I have also tried the ribs, which are pretty good. The first time I tried the jumbo crab stack I fell in love. But then the second time around it was too fishy. Then the third time it was ok. So it's a hit a miss with it. I guess it all depends who is the cook that day. Which I am not willing to risk in ordering next time.

Wasn't sure what to expect here, but I was really impressed. The inside/decor made it really fun; and even though it was pouring out, I felt a little tropical. We had Goat Cheese and Warm Flat Bread for an app - perfect! I had the Key West Fish Tacos - which the fish was a little TOO spiced for my liking but over all the flavor and presentation was great. I was drinking - a Painkiller! That's the name, it's strong and delicious! For desert the Warm Upside Down Pineapple Cake was split....so so so good. You should try all of the above if you get a chance!

I have never been to Bahama Breeze before. I had never actually even heard of it before going there. It was interesting. A chain restaurant with an island vibe. They feature a lot of shrimp and seafood dishes. I ordered the firecracker prawns. They were battered and spicy and they were very good. I was happily pleased with my meal that night and would most likely return, definitely to take a look at that drink menu one more time.

I frequented Bahama Breeze when I lived in Florida and was super excited to find one here in Washington. My favorite things to order are a Bahamarita, the Coconut Shrimp and the Jamaican Jerk Wings. I've been here a few times but my last visit prompted me to write this review. When our jerk wings showed up, rather than the usual juicy, good sized wings, they looked like dried up wings of Cornish hens. Naturally we shared our concern with our waitress and were quite disappointed at the response that they 'have no control over the wings that get shipped to them.' I was perturbed that they didn't want to rectify the situation and was pretty close to walking out. We asked to speak to the manager and it turns out that there was some communication error in how our situation should've been dealt with. Long story short, we got a new plate of awesome wings and were told that we wouldn't have to pay for them. Just fresh wings would've been satisfactory for us. What brought this experience to 4 stars is that they not only took the wings off of our bill but took care of all our charges. We still decided to leave a tip of course but didn't have to pay for any of our meals or drinks. Thanks to the manager on duty and our waitress for saving the experience and ensuring that we'll return to Bahama Breeze!

We took our Moms here for Mothers Day. They both had already been, but it was a while ago. They have a large menu, with many options. I wanted to try one of their burgers which was okay - my husband and his mom tried the Jerk-wings (which were MASSIVE) and made sense why they were $13 for 8 of them. This restaurant is part of the Red Lobster / Olive Garden (Darden) restaurant enterprise - so the food fits right in with those.

The perfect place to celebrate any occasion!!! Food is always amazing! My favorite is salmon tostada salad, any fish, shrimp/ lobster linguini and for dessert I would recommend an island cake:)

This why they got a 1 star: 1. I was a large birthday party group of 6 [thank God I got the lunch menu] for my autistic son's birthday and they sang happy birthday to all the birthday tables but mine....no free dessert either for my special needs son. Even after I asked them, they lied and told me there were no birthday desserts....when I saw there were. 2. They recently eliminated their steak/chicken shish kabob lunch entree, the best thing on their menu. Even just orderring burgers and such.....my bill was like $120....

Service was great. Only waited 25 minutes which isn't bad for having 'no reservations' and it being a weekend at Bahama Breeze. Tonight was dinner for two which consisted of hummus & flatbread, jerk chicken wings, filet mignon with sides of mashed potatoes & green beans, a frozen drink called bahama mama, shrimp & grits. For dessert we had dulce de leche cheesecake and chocolate mousse. Everything was great except their green beans didn't have much flavor and the shrimp and grits were too powerful in flavor. I was hoping to get plain grits with salt and butter, but they had a cheesy flavor which made them taste like Mac n cheese. I needed some type of balance to mellow out the sautéed shrimp dish that was cooked with bacon and mushrooms.

I love this place! The service is normally very good and they have fantastic food. My personal favorite is their grilled chicken with cilantro-crema, it's honestly the best mashed potatoes you'll ever eat. However, there are two things about this place I don't particularly like. Firstly, they don't take reservations so if I end up going out to dinner on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night the wait is usually upwards of 45 minutes. Second, the atmosphere is extremely loud. I have found that it is a hard place to have a conversation, even with the person sitting right next to me.

This is my new go to HH spot. Great prices...and the service is spot on.16oz draft beers for only 2$! Amazing and delicious coconut shrimp. I suggest the habanero wings over their Jamaican just because there's more flavor and the heat isn't over bearing. Their bahama Rita is super cool because it comes w a shot of tequila hanging off the glass. It's laid back and the bartenders are nice and pour generously! They often have live music in the lounge which really sets the Caribbean mood! Come here to relax and get away after a long work week! *I've had to update this review. We ate in the dining area and our server was a nightmare. We waited for half an hour to be seated and we wanted HH but there was no room in the bar. So we finally got seated 15 minutes before the end of happy hour and our server wouldn't even put in a drink order for us until we finished the drinks we had. What?!?! She took 20m to do anything we asked and she didn't even draw on the To go boxes like I know they're required to do. She didn't smile once for us. I think she may have been racist. Not joking.

Bahama Breeze is pretty bomb for a chain food restaurant. The drinks are delicious and not too pricey, the menu is large, and all of the food options are pretty scrumptious. I've been to Bahama Breeze for lunch and they offer a great menu. The flatbread is really yummy. Most recently when I went I ordered off the small plates menu and had pulled pork over fried sweet plantains. It was so good. My husband loves onion rings so he always orders those. The portion size is humongous. Seriously, it could feed a table of 5-6 people. We brought home leftovers and split it as a side between three people the next night. The only things I've not been a fan of has been their burgers and I ordered a seasonal stone crab that wasn't very good. The crab was dry and the burger patties are just not up to par. My husband has ordered a burger from there twice and not happy either times. I think he forgot he didn't care for it the last time. Despite those two lows, I have to give a shout out to the Bahama Rita which comes with a side car of extra booze to add to the delicious frozen concoction. Also, the veggie press sandwich, as well as the Wood Grilled Chicken Breast. I never order chicken when I go out, but I decided to try this because I liked that it came with broccoli and a baked sweet potato. It sounds plain and boring but it's not. The Citrus butter sauce that is on the chicken is so delicious. It also comes in a "lighter" portion, which I get because the normal side is ginormous. Even with the lighter portion, I take home half of it. Yum, this review is making me hungry!

I have to say that the food was pretty good, however the service was the reason for the two stars. The restaurant wasn't even that busy so I was seated faster than they told me (which was great) even though my friend hadn't arrived yet, I had just enough time to grab a drink at the bar in time to be seated. The hostess seated me near a rather large party which was no big deal, however I sat without being greeted for a half hour. When my friend showed up we talked for a while (about 20min) and STILL NOT a greeting from a server to acknowledge we were there. FINALLY someone noticed because they had walked by about 5 times. He then asked if we seated ourselves because the area was closed off and IF I was sure a hostess seated me at that booth (there were others in other booths but they had already gotten food and left by the time we were greeted) Eventually a server came over to take our order. An apology would have been sufficient enough but we didn't even get that. Luckily I enjoyed the company I was with.

I like their alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. I also really like their desserts. However entree wise i'm not a huge fan. It sounds very interesting and tasty but in reality its expensive and not all its hyped up to be, at least in my opinion. The banana nut supreme is amazing. If you are to go for their entrees i like their jerk chicken pasta. I've tried their burgers before, it runs on the sweet side. But all their entrees run on the more expensive side when I compare the taste and quality. Ultimately, this is the place I like to go to for dessert and/or happy hour or just for a drink because it is so exotic and tropical.

I came here for my mom's birthday because she likes getting the Grilled Salmon and mixed greens on a tostada, which I tried some and it's not bad. I browsed through the menu and saw Conch fritters, which seemed like something new to try. They were not really worth it, it was mainly a lot of breading and maybe small pieces of conch. For my entree I had the Seafood Paella and it was too salty for me, so I sort of picked at it. Next time I'll try something else if we go back, but it wouldn't be my first choice to go here.

What a great little find, well BIG find because this place is ginormous, befitting for an amusement park. Thank gawd the Thai resto we were aiming for closed when we got there. We came in time for a pretty satisfying meal ordered entirely off the late happy hour menu. The Jamaican Chicken Wings and Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sliders amazed. Ample portions for HH, yummy pineapple coconut martini--both moms and auntee were gettin down. Service was a tad awkward and seating took a lil long, but oh how I wish there were a Bahama Breeze here in cali.

My husband and I have been twice now - and we have been impressed each time. Yes, it is a chain. But, the service both times has been excellent. We ordered the Shrimp and Grits off the specials menu - it was amazing! Delicious and tasty- and I don't like seafood most of the time. The drinks we ordered both times were on the strong side. The small plates are a decent appetizer option - and are pretty low cost. There's a huge variety to choose from - I'm sure you could order a couple and make it a meal. So far, I've tried the steamed edamame, pulled pork and plantains and the corn cakes. My favorite by far is the corn cakes - it comes with a sweet pineapple salsa. Edamame was good too, but you can't really overdo that. If you aren't worried/crying to yourself about being gluten free or coming to a seafood restaurant to eat a burger, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. It is busy on the weekends, but both times we were seated before the quoted wait time.

Not bad..not outstanding, but a pleasant place to go. Unfortunately my friend and I were there on a Sunday, so there was no happy hour to evaluate. The service was okay. Waitress was friendly and food options were pretty good. The food came fairly fast, but it wasn't a busy night. The food was hot, fresh and tasty and there was more than enough to eat. We didn't order drinks, so I can't review the beverage situation either. Nice atmosphere. Apparently they have 'live' music Fri/Sat nights usually Calypso or Reggae variety. That would help the ambiance a little. Couldn't sit by the firepit in the patio area since it was closed off for a private party. I'd like another go-round here. I've heard their jerk chicken wings are really good, but they just so happen to be out of them when we went in. No big deal. There will be another reason to go back again.

Just went to bahamas breeze for my husbands birthday, my first time here and i totally loved it, the service was exellent and the food was beyond great. The waitress was such a nice person, very patient and even though the place was full she was making sure we were ok all the time, i forgot to ask her name. Absolutely going back soon, loved the place everyone makes you feel you very confortable, the price is a little high but its all worth it...

When oh when will Yelp get half stars??? I feel bad for giving them 3 when they deserve 3 1/2 but I'm not going to give them 4 and then talk them down. So I figure you're looking on Yelp to see if you should go to BB & what you should order when you go there. If you've never been I absolutely say go at least once. Their lunch prices are cheaper than dinner prices with basically the same menu. They will have a Happy Hour starting on the 21st of February, 2011 so that would be a good option too. If possible sit out on the patio near the fire pit and try one of their "fruity drinks". What to eat?? Their Onion Rings are some of the best I've ever had! Cuban sandwich delicious. Lobster & Shrimp Quesadillas just okay. For $10.95 I'd like a bigger portion & guacamole. You can get 4 of the jerk wings but not 4 of the habanero wings. Almost all the entrees come with a tasty but yucky looking mashed sweet potato. The paella & rice with the coconut shrimp look like rice a roni. I recommend checking out their menu online first so you get a good idea of what they have. Went here for dinner last night in a group of 14. Called as soon as they opened to make a reservation for a table for 14 and instead received a round table for 8 & round 6 next to one another. Not very conducive for visiting with everyone. Would have been nice to know when we made the reservation & we would have gone somewhere else with a private room or table to accommodate all of us. The 2 waitresses that took care of our tables were fantastic! Shawna took care of us at the 6 top. Split checks without batting an eyelash. She certainly earned the included 18% gratuity! Added in some to make it 20%.

i wish i could give half star reviews as well - as BB does deserve a bit better than an A-OK but i hesitate to say that i'm a fan.... the atmosphere is always lively - the staff seems to be tentative and friendly. my only complaint is of the half dozen times i've been here in the past year - the food is inconsistent. i'm a huge fan of the Habanero Chicken Wings and pasta dishes. and its almost an alternating experience - because somedays they'll be mouth watering good and other days its very mediocre if not bad. the plus side is that when the manager does come around and ask how things are - i'm open an honest as i'm a paying customer and if things don't get address - things dont get fixed! and the manager always makes sure to make things right. which i highly appreciate. other than that - BB is a fun place to visit from time to time to get a few cocktails and get down on some tropical foods.

This place is Great! Came here for a quick lunch and sat at the bar. The bartender was extremely friendly and talkative, almost a little too much... I had the Ahi poke with wontons and salmon salad. The Tuna was tasty and salmon was cooked to perfection. I ate everything and was out the door in no time. For a franchise restaurant, I was quite impressed! Thumbs up!

Went to Bahama Breeze on a Wednesday night. We had 10 of us in a group and wanted to sit in the patio. The hostess told me it was open seating so I went into the patio, spoke to a server and had told her we had 10 people and her response was "well there's plenty of room in the dining area" as if she didn't want us to sit in the patio. Even though it did not seem very busy. Our server was named rainy, or rauny, or something along those lines, started with an "R." We ordered appetizers off of happy hour and she told us we had to get them in now even though it was 20 minutes until it was 6. We ordered quite a few appetizers and two orders of firecracker shrimp. When the food came out she had only brought one order of the shrimp so we asked her about the other. She said we only got one of our orders and if we wanted another one it wasn't going to be on happy hour (even though it was her fault) so we just said forget it. After all of our appetizers and food were dropped off we didn't see her again for the rest of our meal. Never refilled our waters once or asked how we were doing. Even though we watched her walk past our table several times. We eventually asked for our check and she didn't come back to us with it. An older lady came by to ask how we were doing and she gave us our check and even cashed us out. Props to the older lady, no props to our crappy server. I'm a server and had to tip 10% because she was so bad. I wanted to tip the older lady that helped out more than she did.

I remember being excited when Bahama Breeze first opened because it had such a fun environment and the food was different than the other restaurants nearby. They have 2 bars (outdoor and indoor) as well as an enclosed patio so they can have it open year-end. It's something that is smart when you are in a state with 9mos of cloud and rain out of the year. I loved the live bands that would come play as well as the lil details (ceiling fans made out of large fans, palm tree details, etc). But over time that I've come back to visit.. it seems to have gone downhill. The food is never to your expectation and I always seem to leave disappointed. The drinks are quite good (mojitos to daiquiris, etc) but it seems the only thing I could find to like was the caesar salad.

been to this place and haven't been disappointed. the parking was easy enough and we were seated right away. like the beach theme inside. there's a lot to pick from and this time i got the cuban sandwich. it was a lot of food so i took half of it home. happy hour runs until 6 so i got the coconut shrimp and i liked it with the sauce. will be back.

I love this place. In the summertime on a nice day it feels like you're on an island somewhere and not a parking lot of the mall. The blue crab appetizer is amazing. I seriously could eat just that. It makes my mouth water just thinking of it. Any of the fish options are yummy. They ask you how you like it cooked and if you want any sauces on it. Never had a bad experience here. All the waiters and waitresses seem friendly and are pretty attentive.

Dining at BB is a lot of hits with some misses. Personally, I love the tacky tropical decor (I'm a child of the 60's) and the wait staff are friendly and efficient. The food is where things can go a bit astray. Today I had lunch. It had been awhile since my last visit but things looked and felt the same as my last dining experience. I was sorry to see that the Calamari Sticks are no longer available so we ordered the Firecracker Shrimp. The cooking broth is very tasty with the 1/2 loaf of Cuban bread to sop it all up with but the shrimp themselves were a tad overcooked and a bit on the small side. I had the Burger with Manchego cheese with a side of Beefsteak Tomatoes while my dining companion had the Cuban Sandwich. My burger was one of the better ones I've had in a long while but it did lack a bit of seasoning. The tomato, diced and tossed with basil and dressing, was surprisingly tasty. My friend was disappointed with the Cuban but enjoyed his rice and black bean side dish. As chain restaurants go, I think BB is one of the better and I will be returning next time I feel the need for a umbrella drink.

I've always thought this place was tasty (especially their cinnamon mashed sweet potatoes and kabobs) but overpriced. Then they introduced happy hour again. Pros: -The drinks are good -The $5 plates are large -The atmosphere. The servers are always cheerful and the bar (on the mall side) has an octagonal room filled with windows that are usually cracked open with a hot open fire in the middle. Very pleasant. Cons/tips: -My only complaint is the sliders were a bit dry (no sauce) but there was a simple fix- I poured on some delicious sauce!

There was really fast service. I was remotely surprised about the service speed for a Friday night. I was in a party of 2. We ordered drinks, appetizers, and entrees. The drink was a little plain which was surprising since there was a lot to it. The waitress came around multiple times to check on us and ask what we want. Finically we decided and we ordered our two appetizers and one entree at the same time. About 8 minutes later the two appetizers arrived. The entree arrived at the same time as the appetizers. Odd, but it shows the fast service. They split the entree for us and didn't charge a split plate fee, so that was nice. I read the reviews prior to ordering, so I knew the coconut shrimp was popular. It was. We also tried conch fritters, which were odd but good. They were filled with some kind of meat- I think chicken- and had some corn in them. For our main dish, we ordered jerk chicken pasta. This one is a little spicy, but the menu never indicated it. It builds up after a few bites too. All in all, a good date night restaurant. Food was what would have been expected for the location and price. I loved the theme and decorations inside. I would definitely return.

DRINKS-Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholics are great here. I love their Virgin and regular pina coladas. The pineapple mojito is delicious too. Definitely a great spot to grab a drink with your besties. And even a nice place to invite your in laws if they want to try some island style food. I think they have a kids menu, I forgot to check but I am sure they do. The food comes out clean and the quality is up there, not 5 star quality but it is definitely a step up from olive garden. I like the service, very friendly and hostess are great too. Price is a little high for some dishes but others are pretty good as well. So try it out, I think you might like it!

Came with a friend for lunch and the atmosphere was perfect!!! We really did feel like we were in the Bahama's!!! The staff was super nice!!! And came back to ask how we were doing. We ordered a smoothie but I found it weird that they did not offer water too... I mean its free.... Also another server brought over one of our appetizer which had some fried chips but she freakin spilled it on the table and just took it away without replacing them. I didn't care much about it but because I wouldnt eat them but real service would take the plate back and replace them.... she wasnt our waitress though so other than those two things everything was fine. We had the cilantro cream sauce with mash potatoes and grilled chicken it was delicious!!! Also we ordered a smoothie and an appetizer all for a total of only $20! totally affordable! The food is decent and we would diffidently come back to try something else!

I would go here again for the nice decor. They have really great prawn dishes..the size of them are pretty big! dishes however are decent sized ..the rice and pasta seems to just skim over the plate so don't expect large portions. Very cozy and large bar area. Great for gatherings and away from the other restaurants at southcenter.

Say bye bye to cheesecake fact cuz of the long wait and hello to trying something new. Bahama breeze. Roasted Cuban Bread was definitely a win-win! Came here for Rina's bday in winter December of last year! It was super fun catching up with all the coworkers and just having a fun time of enjoying my winter break w old buddies! Nice waiters and kind waitresses. Kind of pricey. The atmosphere is fine, warm, and cozy.

In my previous visits I enjoyed the food very much. But it was different tonight. My husband and I came here to enjoy a dinner for 2. We sat down and our waitress was nice, quick, and friendly. We ordered Lobster linguine, the chefs special pan seared salmon and garlic mashed potatoes. The lobster linguine was huge. I loved how they put in plenty of lobster meat and plentiful shrimp. Well worth 20 bucks. The only thing I had a problem with was the salmon. I eat seafood often, especially salmon. I know when the salmon is over cooked. Even my husband doesn't know how to cook seafood knows it was over done. It was hard, dry, and did not melt in my mouth. More like dried it up. The sides were as good as I remember but I did not get my money's worth with the salmon. I was very disappointed because the last few times I've been there the salmon was always cooked to perfection. I won't be coming back for a while. The dried up over cooked salmon shows how much the cooking staff knows about seafood.

I love this place! Fun atmosphere, service was ok, and the food is great! PLEASE try their Cuban bread, it's so delicious! :) They also have this chicken sandwich on chiabata bread with a citrus mayo that I can eat any day!

Met friends for a pre-reunion dinner and had a wonderful experience. Kristen, our waitperson, was just the best - friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and funny. We were seated immediately and enjoyed ordering her recommendations of the Spicy Shrimp and the Spinach Dip for half-price apps. We ordered dinner including Fish Tacos, Sirloin Steak and entrée chicken salad. All flavorful and hearty portions for the price. My only disappointment was having received a discount coupon featuring the watermelon and feta salad, and scallops entree - neither which were available anymore. Many delicious dishes to choose from, though, and drinks were "spirited".

Cool place with a carribean-themed look. You make up for the look and feel with the price. A bit pricey but definitely worth checking out. Came here for the first time with a friend after watching a movie. I ordered something like the jerk chicken, which I believe is one of their popular dishes. The chicken was mildly seasoned but came with a mango sauce and sweet potato mash (YUM!). I really wanted to order the pialla but the server told me that a lot of people complain that it's too salty. It wasn't a busy night, but the server took forever to get me change. WTF I was trying to tip her!

We always have ridiculously good service here. Every server & hostess we come across is especially friendly & helpful. We've probably been there about 5 times in 2 years and they never fail to be pleasant. I'm not blown away by the food in general, but it certainly seems to be of pretty decent quality. My husband loves the cuban sandwich. He swears it's the best he's tried anywhere. Personally, I like their Breeze salad. It's just the house salad, but it's quite large and has a fabulous dressing on it. Yum.

It is what it is... I only really come here for two things ever! Okay maybe three. First I always get the roasted cuban bread. But it always comes out soggy unless you ask them to leave it in the oven longer to make it crispy. I wished they just knew that instead of having to ask every time. Moving along I use to love their Habanero chicken wings until they changed how they made it. The wings use to be the perfect size and use to be spicy. Now it taste like regular bbq sauce with a slight kick. The wing also became jumbo which isn't too tasty. I also order the jerk chicken pasta sometimes. Its good but I think I could just make it at home. There really isn't anything special about this place. The wait staff is just okay. Like I said in the beginning it really is what it is.

The service was good. The food was mediocre. I tried the fish tacos and they were pretty tasteless. The onion rings were ok. I've had better. Unless you're in the area and are starving, I'd recommend going someplace else. Our waitress was very attentive and accommodating, but that couldn't quite make up for the food.

This place is hard to rate. The food we ordered was mostly disappointing and the prices add up in a hurry, so my three stars is generous, call it a 2.5. We had some gift cards for the Darden Corporate restaurant group (yes, BB is owned by the same corp as Olive Garden & Red Loster). We hoped that the island themed menu and drinks at BB might be on at least a slightly higher plane. That hope was dashed. The two of us each ordered two drinks, an appetizer, and an entree. Somehow, at lunch, after tax and tip, we had a bottom line of $75. For lunch! Glad we had the gift cards. Of the four food items, the conch appetizer was best. Everything else was bland and/or kind of greasy, and not something we'd even think about ordering again. The drinks were a mixed bag. The most disappointing was their rendition of a Zombie, which was small, not very strong, and the flavors of this classic tiki bar drink were way out of balance. The best was a surprisingly good Caipirinha. The space has potential, the building, with it is bright exposed room, could really make a great home for a Caribbean themed restaurant. And I think Seattle folks would love really well executed island food. But you'll never get that from the Darden people, it is all about holding down costs and putting people at the tables with promotional noise. We won't be back.

I've been here a few times since they've opened. After a stressful week at work and not wanting to wait 40 minutes for a table at BJ's, we decided to drive around to the other side of the mall to Bahama Breeze. It was a bit after 8PM and there was still a lot of people looking to get dinner this Friday night. The hostess told us it was going to be a 15 minute wait, which turned out to only be 5 minutes. We were seated in the back of the restaurant and were attended to quickly by the waitress. Due to a phone call I got while reviewing the menu, the waitress took down our appetizers and came back afterwards to take down our main entrees. I'd say we were served pretty quick! The appetizers came out first and then our main dishes five minutes later. Their habanero wings aren't as hot as they use to be. They're more sweet that spicy now, which is kind of disappointing!! I loved how spicy they were before. The small side or ranch is really DELICIOUS! Thick and creamy. Wish they'd tell me what brand it is. The coconut prawns were okay, I think next time I'll try some other prawns they have for appetizers. For main dishes we had the jerk chicken pasta along with the lobster and shirmp pasta. Both were really good. The lighter portion of the jerk chicken is enough for most asians, but if you're hungry, go for the larger potion. Both pastas were really good. I had the lobster and shrimp, but I got a few bites of the jerk chicken as well! I wouldn't have mind trading, but I prefer the creamy pasta dishes. I'm not exactly sure why, but I enjoyed our experience here last weekend. It's been a while since I've had a really nice waitress/service. Keep the Bahama breeze atmosphere!!

Have you ever heard of pizza stones? They are these flat stones one cooks pizzas on. I felt like a piece of pizza on one of these stones in this restaurant. It was HOT in the bar area. The stone/granite table we sat at was radiating heat and cooking my arms! Perhaps I was just under the heater, but dang, I SOOO wanted to take my shirt off and twirl it around in the air and helicopter myself to a nice cool and dark corner! Ok, the heat was addressed....they turned it down, or my blood thinned out while I was sitting there. So other than the weather, this was a decent restaurant. I was SO glad we didn't have to wait (Cheesecake Factory had waits over an hour! Umm...no!). There was also live music in here. Dude was playin the ukulele, but I could swear he played some funk and disco covers with that little instrument....and we were groovin' to it! As for the food & drink...we were in the Carribbean, so I went with a mango mojito. Now I could not taste/see the mango, but oh well, the mojito was yummy. For the meal, I went with the jerk chicken breast with mashed sweet potato (YUM!) & a couple of plantain chips (nice!). For my second round, I thought of a cerveza. They only had four on draft--I went with the Blue Moon. Our server was super cool considering we had a fairly large group. He was crackin' jokes with us (well, mainly with the cute girls in our party, but who could blame him). We had a very good time here, considering it was the evening of Black Friday & the mall looked like a madhouse. All in all, a solid 3.5 stars.

Went there for our anniversary and it was the most terrible dining experience weve had. Got to the place and we said HI to the front attendants first before they did, asked to get a booth instead of a bar seat and the two attendants gave a weird look at each other before taking us to the table. We finally got a booth and waited 10mins for our waitress to come. Told her the drinks we want (water for my husband and strawberry lemonade for me) and our appetizers. She came back with strawberry lemonade and tea (we both dont drink iced tea). The strawberry lemonade was the best ive had though. Then we got our foods, ribs for my husband (he said it was bland) and seafood paella for me (its mediocre). Then our waitress came to check us right when were done eating (without checking every now and then if were doing good or if we need something) so we told her we need boxes for leftovers and the check. she came back 20mins later with the check and said shell be back for the box, then we waited again for another 15mins or so for her to get the check and bring the boxes. she came back and with the box finally and took the check and came back 10minutes after and said "sorry because our computer was down". Maybe the last 10minutes was justified but you dont need the computer to check us and see if we need something every once in a while. I know its a busy day but once or twice should be enough. The food is below average and service is terrible! We are not coming back, for sure!

Oh the sandwich! In my youth my sandwich was PB&J with nacho cheese Doritos or on the sweeter side PB&Honey with butter of course! My go-to favorite is the BLT. Now I have my grown-up sandwich. The Cuban Sandwich. I've had the sandwich before from a little restaurant on upper Queen Anne, but I truly fell in love with it at Bahama Breeze. Whooda thunk it?! The Meal: We started with Aruba Reds (the house beer): they were great. I ordered the Cuban Sandwich- Pork product on pork product on pork product and dill pickles... I am drooling right now! I so want another! The boy had the Jerk Chicken Pasta. It was tasty. Then we finished the meal with some damn fine Key Lime Pie. It is topped with meringue!! Meringue!! And the Graham crust is perfection.

My favorite restaurant. They always have delicious food and the best drinks. Try their Pina Colada, it tastes authentically yummy! The service is always good, except for hosts - they could have been a little friendlier. Other than that it's a great place for lunch/dinner or just drinks.

This is one of my favorite places in town. The sweet mashed potatoes are to die for! The atmosphere is always fun. I like sitting in the bar to hear the music although it does get a little warm in there because of the fire pit and all the heaters.

This place was just OK in my opinion. The decor and atmosphere were pretty sweet, but there was nothing special of the food at all. If I wanted to get drunk in a cool looking bar, I'd probably come here but to eat, probably won't come back. I got the fish tacos and a Cesar salad and both were sub-par. My husband got a chicken quesadilla and he wasn't pleased either. I was intrigued by their menu so maybe other items were better but it was very basic food without anything that stood out to me.

Drinks were good! Very tropical and delicious with a million choices. I'm indifferent to the food though. It took me forever to decide what to get because nothing sounded good! I finally decided on the calypso shrimp linguine, which has all the things I love (scallions, tomato, pasta, a touch of shrimp) but it wasn't anything to write home about. It wasn't horrible but nothing special. Appetizers were pretty alright. I should have just gotten a salad though - you gotta be doing something really wrong to screw up a caesar salad... I do really like how there is the option to get a smaller portion of dinner items for a cheaper price since portions are always huge and I'm not a fan of leftovers. I got the smaller portion of my dish and barely finished half of it. There was someone who got the larger portion of the same dish (apparently the large portion is on a 12 inch plate as opposed to a smaller 6 inch plate) but the amount of food didn't seem like much of a difference. I might be back, but honestly probably not.

I can't go wrong with inexpensive seafood. Even though this establishment is based from Florida, most of their seafood were locally caught. I still enjoyed the taste of Seattle when I was up there. I highly doubt there's any, not even one Bahama Breeze back of my home state of California. The nearest BB in my home city is located in Las Vegas.

Food was lackluster to be sure and the service was atrocious. In other words it was exactly on par with all the other Darden Restaurants (Capital Grille withstanding.) I would have given this place a single star, but the specialty cocktails are really spectacular. I usually avoid "umbrella" drinks, but based off the recommendation of others I imbibed a few tropical concoctions here and they made my night. I wonder Bahama Breeze, why no happy hour? All your competitors in the area have one, why not you? Even the Metropolitan Grill has happy hour, and the Met you aren't.

This is my favorite restaurant, thus far. I live about 20-30 minutes away from this place, but in traffic it usually takes me up to an hour. But the drive is well worth it. I'm never disappointed whenever I decide to try a new dish. Everything on their menu is worth it. (I think the sauce is their secret.) AND.. Their drink menu is just as perfect as their food menu. Try their shrimp dishes and the chicken cilantro crema. As for a drink? Try the Bahama Rita. This drink comes with an extra shot of tequila.

Over the past 7 years, I've been here a total of 4 times. Each time, I have had excellent service, and great food. Having some family in town for the holidays, one mentioned that she's always been wanting to try Bahama Breeze. On a cold Friday night after shopping at Nordstrom, I called over to RSVP for 3 people. Went over and we were seated immediately, and had an awesome server! Sorry, can't remember his name. We ordered: Roasted Cuban Bread: Toasted French bread w/Parmesan cheese, cilantro, butter and tomatoes on top) Fruit and Grilled Chicken Salad: citrus vinaigrette, pineapple, red grapes, strawberries, mandarin oranges, with goat cheese & almonds. Jerk Chicken Pasta: Bow tie pasta w/asparagus & mushrooms in a heavy cream sauce. Tip: Sign up for their email list online prior to dining and receive a $10 coupon via email! The menu was all over the place w/lots of options, and the crowd was reminicent of the Cheesecake Factory/Claim Jumper types. Perfect family style dining as the portions were shared w/3 people.

If I could give zero stars... I was extremely disappointed with the last visit here. We had a group of 60+ attendees for a networking function, and I had called weeks ahead to make reservations in the bar "deck" area for our function. I then followed up with this closer to the date and the day of the event, both times speaking with managers on the phone. However, when we showed up, the bar managers had no idea we were coming and there were no tables nor any room for us except to stand in the walkway. When we went to go speak to the hostess, they were completely rude and told us they don't take reservations for the bar area and made us take a buzzer and wait until a manager could come and talk to us. The manager on duty offered to set up some tables in the dining area, but we would have to wait for a while since it wasn't prepared. Unfortunately, we just ended up all hanging around the bar area in different pockets, which defeated the whole purpose of the group networking event. NOT SUITABLE FOR LARGE EVENTS

The first time I was there and had a cuban sandwhich I was not all that impressed, but was near there last night and it sounded good. Very good idea.... Ihad the Chicken Santiago which was spicy and very good served with somoe sort of fried potatoe that was great. My wife had the Cuba Libre Shrimp Salad which I did sample and was very impressed, the shrimp was perfect and the dressing had a nice but not overpowering tropical taste and the service was good.

The service was excellent; the drinks were inventive and totally made me feel like I was in the Caribbean. I had the pina colada which was very strong! I tried their strawberry sangria, but I didn't like the taste; the merlot didn't mix well with the liquor and the 'fruity' taste came more from oversugared sweeteners rather than actual fruit. My salmon pasta was excellent; I had something very similar in Florence earlier this year, so I didn't see a 'Caribbean' take on this dish, but it was still really good. The portions are large! I got the skinny portion, and it was more than enough; by the way, props for offering smaller portions to begin with! Now if only Cheesecake Factory would smarten up.

I think the best time to stop by here is during happy hour. Amongst other things, they have pretty decent deals for 6 coconut shrimp for $5 and several cocktails for $4. I ordered the jerk shrimp appetizer, a happy hour order of coconut shrimp, and a pineapple/coconut martini. The jerk shrimp is mostly good by itself. The dipping bread was soft, but I didn't really enjoy it as a dipper. The coconut shrimp and sauce were pretty tasty. The martini was incredibly tasty too. It could have used a wee bit more alcohol though. This place is known for its notoriously high calorie/giant portion dishes, so the 2 appetizer route was a little more reasonable. Though the jerk shrimp had a lot more shrimp in it than I remember it from the last time I ordered it years ago. Service was prompt and friendly, though of course they're pretty big on the up-sells. But, that's your run of the mill chain restaurant policy for you.

There's not a lot of places I'd go to eat in the southcenter area.. besides here. I love how this place looks and how big it is.. considering it used to be in the spot of a movie theater. Their parking lot is huge yet it can be filled up quickly around dinner time so a big tip is to get here early! Never had I waited for more than 15 mins before being seated. Their food is great! Here's what I've had there so far (and as you can tell I come here quite often)... West Indies Patties: puff pockets filled with beef and a side of sour cream.. a tasty appetizer Roasted Cuban bread: almost like a bruschetta but a different twist with big slices of tomatoes and cilantro. Seafood Paella: sausage, shrimp, fish, mussels, chicken, and rice.. seasoning is great and the portion is almost enough for 2 people Mahi Mahi: grilled with a light orange glaze and perfect with garlic mashed potatoes Tilapia: almond crusted with a light lemond butter sauce that's wonderful with their sweet mashed potatoes.. I swear it tastes like it can be a dessert too with the cinnamon and sweetness. :) Loster and shrimp linguine pasta: tastes very good, wished there were more lobster than shrimp but very satisfying. West Indies Ribs: a dish to dig your hands into and enjoy the savory sauce on the meat with a side of fries... probably wouldn't pay the high price of it when you can try their seafood dishes for the same price. Ahi Tuna: Seared rare tuna with wasabi cream and served with their island rice and vegetables... to me it was a very good dish with good portions of the seared tuna and tastes great with wasabi cream. Bahamian Grilled Steak Kabobs: basically skewered steak with big pieces of mushrooms, onions, peppers and squash served wit h island rice, a very good dish but wished they would cook the onions a little bit longer which still were raw. Filet Mignon: tender piece of steak served with garlic mashed potatoes but the price for it isn't worth for the amount you get. Margarita Chicken: cooked with a shot of Jose Cuervo tequila, the flavor of the chicken is yummy and the meat is tender and not too dry and it came with a side of veggies and island rice. I've also had their strawberry lemonade which is nothing really special besides the fact that its sweeten with some sugar cane. Service itself was always good experience, never had one complaint about the service, they are all friendly once you walk right into the restaurant. Maybe the only complaint I have about the restaurant itself is the how the lights are pretty dim and if your light is broken then you're pretty much eating in the dark with a light shine of light from the next table.. (its happened to me) but that only happened when the sunlight was going away and we were just finishing up. :)

The staff was very attentive and the food was... well... wilting. Perhaps the lettuce came from jamaica, because it was soggy and lacking in texture. love their drinks though and love the layout. especially on our rare sunny seattle days. but gosh dolly, can someone work on the menu?

THANK YOU BAHAMA BREEZE FOR GIVING ME AN AMAZING BIRTHDAY EXPERIENCE! Your waiters and waitresses are on POINT. I ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna, and it just LITERALLY, melted in my mouth. And I have no idea what kind of sauce they used around it, but man oh man.....AMAZING. The drinks were stiff. Company was amazing. Employees working there were awesome. Food was BEYOND tasty. I work at the mall, where Bahama Breeze is located. I have had 2 interactions with the Bar Manager. He does not believe the restaurant is on mall property or subject to its rules or the law. When politely, yet firmly confronted about it, he became argumentative both times. He also consistently parks his moped illegally in the white-striped area designated for bicycles only. Since his arrogance allows no respect for law or rules (obviously as bad as the liberals currently in state and federal offices), I can only imagine how he treats customers. Needles to say, word of mouth advertising works; I will never frequent Bahama Breeze and will strongly suggest family and friends also boycott them. Further, my boss mentioned he will have their restaurant and bar license revoked.

Not impressed by the food. The drinks are delicious though. I really like the frozen margaritas here. The last time we went, I ordered the paella which looked and tasted more like mediocre jambalaya. The seafood in the paella was anything but fresh and the rice was wet and bland. We also shared two appetizers - both of which I didn't enjoy. I would go back for a frozen margarita but would not want to eat here.

I really like this place. I have been here 6 times and have not been disappointed with either food or service. It's become one of my favorite place to eat here lately. The stuff is always nice and attentive, quick service, and the food is always good! I especially like the Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wings! Also, the got 1/2 price appetizers and drinks Sunday-Thursday 9 to close, which is sometimes nice if you get hungry late in the evening.

Gotta say the service is what sold me here, from when we walked in to having a drink to eating dinner all great staff.....good job. Not able to spend time in bar area because with minors but probably would choose that side next time. Food was all good tho, everyone was happy with their meal. Sandwiches to rack of ribs ordered all good. Be patient they can be very busy, but worth it for a family night out.

Great restaurant. We visit here at least twice a month. The food is great as is the service. It is a bit on the pricey side, but again, the food is great. You won't be served bad food. For a chain restaurant it really isn't all that bad. I would consider it much better than Olive Garden or Red Lobster. I think the cocktails are really good. I've never been disappointed with my pina colada or mojito. The food... well I really liked the ahi tuna salad they used to have but apparently they got rid of it because they weren't able to get fresh enough ahi tuna. So that's what the manager told me. I recently had a bite of my husband's scallops and they were actually good. Their grilled tilapia wasn't that bad either. The crab appetizer with mango and avocado is good. I think the ingredients mesh well together. It's nice to sit in the bar near the fire pit during the colder months and during the summer listening to the old guy play some island tunes.

I was pleasantly surprised. The Calypso Linguine thingy with tons of shrimp was yummy. For twelve bucks for the lighter portion I was happy. The bread was good too... the boyfriend's ribs fell off the bones and they were delish! The cinnamon sweet potatoes were heavenly... I was excited. The chocolate mousse dessert was light and totally gone.. as was the dulce de leche cheesecake.. As Maritel said, being from California we don't have this restaurant handy.... If my girlfriends went with us, they would have been all over the alcohol.... there were tons of things my girls would have said "i will take two please" friendly service and quick service! since we were near the kitchen-- people there had their hair up and were wearing gloves when touch food... amen! thank you for being so conscious!

I've been three times since I moved to the area. This isn't the sort of place I would normally choose but it is a very good place for large groups. That's probably why people at my work like it. The staff is friendly and the service is good. The fish tacos where touted as a favorite. They were ok. I wouldn't order them again though. Their hamburgers are pretty good though.

This is my favorite restaurant! I make it a point to eat lunch here every weekend. The atmosphere is fun with a tropical feel, and there is always island music playing throughout the restaurant. The restaurant has a lot of seating and there is a full bar. They also offer Call-Ahead Seating which is great for times when the restaurant is busy. The menu has all sorts of yummy items to include tropical drinks, burgers, appetizers, and a fresh fish entree. Some of the appetizers I always order are the Jumbo Lump Crab Stack and the Summer Stuffed Tomatoes. The portions are good and the prices are reasonable. I've never had a bad menu item from this restaurant! They change the menu on a regular basis, so there are always new items being added. The service is great and the servers are enthusiastic. The only down sides to this establishment are that they do not offer any type of military discount and they don't do any birthday celebrations. I took someone here for their birthday once and the server told me they don't sing or offer any complimentary desserts. She said that if I ordered a dessert, she could place a candle in it and bring it out. It wasn't a big deal, but I was hoping to have someone sing happy birthday to the person I was dining with. All in all, this is a fantastic place to grab a bite to eat and have a relaxing drink. If you haven't tried Bahama Breeze, you're missing out!

Every time we've dined at Bahama Breeze, it's always a pleasant experience. Their food is delicious... especially those coconut shrimp. But what REALLY impresses me is that my wife called them to place an order for pick up. Now, there are restaurants that have curb side service, but this isn't one of those places. Still, she told them that she's in a cast and on crutches, and they came out to the car and brought our dinner out to her. THAT, in my opinion, is EXCELLENT service. We will continue to dine at this establishment, because their food is good, and their service is even better.

Bahama Breeze has a wonderful atmosphere and prompt service. LOVED the Tostones with chicken; home-fried plantains layered with chicken, sweet peppers, mushrooms, onions and cheese, topped with fresh tomato salsa, wonderful! Also tried the Tiger shrimp with coconut/Lemon grass sauce. Fabulous! I would have tried a dessert but the server did ask!

I love this place ! There aren't too many chains out there that can replicate this good feel. I have been to the one in Vegas, Seattle and now Tukwila. Strongly recommend you go. My favorite thing to get are the Jamaican Grilled Jerk Wings and the Jamaican grilled Chicken (or Salmon) Dinner. I especially like the mango salsa that comes with the chicken dinner. Make sure you sit back and relax on the cinnamon sweet mashed potatoes. Well worth the very affordable price and the island type atmosphere. Sitting outside in the weekend evenings is kinda cool with some old guy playing steel drums or some rendition of (LOL). Yes its cheesy but it gives a good "no worries man" type of atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I went here the other night with a couple of friends. We sat on the patio where the fireplace was which had a nice ambiance feel to it. I had the west indies patties and my boyfriend got the calypso shrimp. The west indies patties were mediocre to me, I have had better in their location in Orlando, FL. When I got it to go, I wanted the mango salsa with the sour cream sauce. I just ate it today and they gave me the wrong sauce. It was a huge disappointment, as if I didn't know the difference between regular salsa and mango salsa. My boyfriend said his calypso shrimp was pretty bland. I don't think we'll be coming back anytime soon.

Erf. Corporate food in slippers and Bobby McFerrin hooting at me to boot. Loud patrons. We had a gift certificate, so this was a long time coming, and we waited til the last minute to bother. The food was not bad, fresh as corporate gets, and the service was actually very attentive without hovering and had blunt suggestions without the scripted hoohah. Ask for Bridget. We had Salmon Salad - good Pico de Gallo, they give you half of a fresh avocado on top, the fish was stronger smelling than any farmed salmon should be. not enough limes to cover said fish. Angus Burger - HALLELUJAH! A corporate chain with an asterisk and caveat about meat, so you can order HOW YOU LIKE IT. It was the right consistency, but had no grill marks at all? odd. Kill the enthusiasm. Kid's Bowtie noodles - ( Another crap kids menu - "mac", chicken fingers, and burger. WTF? no fish? no fakie tropical kids teri skewer? They assume kids eat only prepackaged generic food) Anyway, the noodles were delicious, real cheese and cream, no powdery flava, and the cute bruscetta/fresh fruit cup were fine. Drinks - weak. I noticed they actually cleaned up the floors and sprayed clean the tables after the people next to us left, better than most restaurants. There is no way this place reminds me of Hawai'i, as one person reviewed, or the Bahamas. The whizzing beams of 405, and parking lot out your lanai shutters kind of dim out the torchlights. We won't return, but can see how this appeals to some.

The food is good but I'm not sure how authentically it relates to the Caribbean as far as recipe goes. They have an excellent orange beer that I love. The service is good but they can lose track of you once the place starts getting packed and it tends to be a little spendy. I like the atmosphere/island feel that you get from the decor and staff. Coming here always reminds me that I need a vacation because it looks so much like a beach hut/resort.

Went here since a friend gave me a gift card. The food was just OK and thought the Jamaican Jerk Chicken was a huge portion and wasn't too bad. Overall OK but wasn't too impressed.

I have pretty much tried to avoid this place; not because of the food but because of some personal reason that has nothing to do with the restaurant itself. So when my sister chose this place for her birthday, I had no choice but to go. Everytime my family eats here, we get the onion rings. The rings are breaded and coated with coconut and come with two different dippig sauces. The portion is more than enough for 4 people. The west indie patties are also really good - little fried pockets of meat. The rest of the food is good enough; nothing spectacular.

My boyfriend and I visited this place on a whim - we'd both always wanted to go, but were never in the area, or thought we couldnt afford it, as it looks like an expensive joint. And it is a little pricier than a place we'd normally do dinner, but then again, our bill came to about $75 (before tip, but including tax), and we ordered two appetizers, two cocktails, and two entrees. I would definitely recommend the coconut shrimp appetizer! It was delicious and perfectly portioned for two to share. The Bahamian Seafood Chowder is perfect - creamy and seasoned, with the just right ratio of seafood to broth. It's not chunky, but it's not stingy with its seafood, either! I had the tilapia shrimp sautee from the Fresh Fish menu, and could not have asked for a better dish. You can choose from a variety of sides, and I asked for garlic mashed potatoes with asparagus. The mashed potatoes were excellent, and the lemon-butter shrimp sauce was to die for! The portions of fish were a little much for me, but I had no complaints when I had enough leftovers for dinner at home the next night! My boyfriend was lessed pleased with his entree - the Seafood Paella. The rice and chicken both were just okay, not stellar, and a little dry. The beef and seafood pieces were great, but not quite great enough to move this dish from good to awesome! I think we'll definitely go back... on a special occasion! Like I said, it's a little pricey, especially for two young people like us, but the service was great, they have a wide variety of drinks, and there are so many more dishes on their menu that I'd love to try! And even if everything else stinks, get the tilapia shrimp sautee - it was worth every penny! P.S. The fact that they play tons of reggae, island music, and loads of Jimmy Buffett didn't hurt either. It all contributes to a fun, tropical atmosphere.

It was good, not great just good. the portion was HUGE, i could not eat it all, it was the biggest rack of ribs i ever had. My wife had a Cuban sandwich, she said it was fantastic. My son had shrimp and lobster pasta, lobster was a bit rubbery. Decore is excellent, atmosphere is great, waiters are great. there are so many choices in the South Center area of Seattle, but this is worth a try.

Terrible service (I shouldn't have to leave my seat to track down my server just so I can get some silverware), watered down/over priced drinks (at first I thought I had ordered a non-alcoholic drink), and luke-warm food. I'll be passing on this place from here on out.

I've eaten here a few times and it has been great each time. The fillet mignon was stellar, even my wife's fillet was tender, though she likes it cooked to hell. The drinks and the desserts are outstanding. Never a bad experience, though I think the theme is a bit cheesy.

  • Calvin Y.

You really don't come here for the food... what it comes down to is two things: 1. Convenience of the location -- it's in Southcenter and its right next to Nordstrom. 2. Theme -- If you feel like having dinner inside a giant "island hut" or seeing way too many people in Hawaiian shirts, then this is your place. I've been here many times and it's because of the first reason. + Good cocktails: I've had the Ultimate Pina Colada, Bahamian Sunset, and Bikini Appletini (The main reason why I don't mind coming back) + Atmosphere/theme; island decorations... + Friendly waitstaff in Hawaiian wear - Mediocre food at above-mediocre prices. - They leave a stack of small plates at the corner of the table for their customers to use when sharing appetizers. When they bus the tables, I noticed they don't replace the plates because they assume it's still "new." However that requires a lot of trust from the previous patrons... and that's why I never use the small plates.

Even if you've never eaten here before, you've eaten at a dozen places just like it. As for me, I know it well -- too well, in fact: I'm always getting dragged along by coworkers curiously convinced of the nonsense notion that 'this must be what the Bahamas are like!' The menu is straight out of the Food Services of American catalog, like its incestuous cousins Applebees, Chilis and TGI Friday's. Vaguely 'tropical' menu items are notional at best, more resembling your generic American fare with added "spice" (quotations necessary). The mixed drinks are uninspired and clearly paint-by-numbers in their design. Adding insult to injury, they're usually weak pours. Good portion size and earnest wait staff saves this eatery from two star status, as does the open fire pit in the bar annex. During the rainy half of the year, the fire lends a cheery touch to an otherwise mundane after work gathering.

Absolutely FABULOSO!!!! This place is always a favorite when choosing a great dinner! this time I got the chicken with cilantro crema (which I had before) and once again, outstanding.. My other friends got fish tacos (amazing & fresh) and jerk chicken pasta ( flavorful, but would personally choose something different). We always love the atmosphere and GREAT service.

So the service was uncomfortable. The waitress kept trying to upsell us, from the drinks, to the appetizers and then dessert. She never liked our order and tried to persuade us to change to her suggestion. When we firmly said no, she then said, "Well make sure you try this sometime because I definitely recommend it," for all 3 courses. It just got annoying and awkward... As for the food, very good, except for the pathetic excuse for asparagus the chef sent out. Seriously, the Chef needs his or her eyes checked! (See sad asparagus photo).

Took my girlfriend and I to there this weekend. Experience was poor, from the food to service. Hair to the waste guy was spraying cleaner all over the table next to us and spouting obscenities in between dirty looks. Food was mediocre at best! We spent $100 (tip included) on both of us. Wood Fire steak was bland and covered with runny uncooked mashed potatoes. Baby back ribs seem like they were microwaved and served with greasy french fries. Our coffee had grounds in it and we basically had to beg for a refill. Moose was good for dessert but disrespectful employees along with poor entrées ruined for us.

I love this place and the service was awesome! We went there for my cousin's birthday on Saturday and our food arrived with the quickness. We ordered the jerk shrimp for appetizers... I was disappointed in only one thing and that was the that they discontinued the fried yuca fries. Like what? How could you BB? lol The fat girl in me cried a little. I had the jerk chicken pasta, which is always yummy and not soaked in sauce. My kids had hamburger sliders and mac n cheese. We all left happy :)

The foods pretty good but its definitely a place to visit every once in a while since the theme if very different from everything else in the Northwest. I Suggest on a hot summer day sitting on their patio and getting some drinks. It definitely will get you to forget where you are.

Sooo.... I go to southcenter mall all the time, ever since I was a kid. I know that this was the first restaurant that was built on the property outside of the mall after they tore down the theatre. I always said that I wanted to try this restaurant and it took until now to happen! So far, so good! I had the salmon with the mango pineapple glaze. It was pretty good. Hubby had the fish tacos and he said it was pretty good too. Looked like they had a decent happy hour menu. We were very surprised to see how fast the restaurant filled up. I also love how the bar is pretty big too. I'll have to come back when they have entertainment there, so i'll probably be back!

We recently went back and had a good time. The service was very good, the food was great. We ordered a Cajun pasta dish cooked perfectly and a Cuban sandwich. The pasta was excellent, the Cuban was good, but not perfect but still very good. I love the Bahama atmosphere of this place. It's just a fun restaurant to go to.

I've been here a handful of times and I think each time somewhat gets better as I explore the menu. I first originally came when they first opened and absolutely loved their Coconut Prawns with the pineapple-coconut dipping sauce. Since then, it had been a while since I had been back and now they have changed their COCONUT PRAWNS with a citrus-mustard dipping sauce. I still love their prawns, but I think the dip is okay; I really liked the old one better. Some other items I have tried include: - PORK CARNITA STREET TACOS: this has fresh flavor and you can really taste the pork, there is no spice in this - LOBSTER & SHRIMP QUESADILLA: I totally though this was an odd mixture, but it was actually not bad, the flavors all went together just fine -BEEF EMPANADAS: these were okay, I'm not a fan of the curry flavor (if I recall correctly), but maybe it's just me - SHRIMP CREOLE: very flavorful and hearty, I crave a dish similar to this now and then in Seattle and this is the closest there is to me if I don't want to drive into Seattle, it's a little soupy which is why it's not at the top of my list - FROZEN BAHAMARITA: fruity and super delicious! My favorite to order. I really like the islandy feel, really makes me miss the Bahamas.

I've been to Bahama Breeze in a few different locations around the country and I have to say that they do it pretty well here in the Southcenter Mall parking lot. The service is pretty decent and the atmosphere is laid-back island life. Bahama Breeze is one chain that I think does it pretty well. Their quality is good and the food is always delicious. Prices are decent for what you get. I love the coconut prawns. $10.50 for 6 of them. The shrimp is juicy and flavorful and fried to perfection. Their drink prices aren't bad ($7-9 for most cocktails) and they have a wide selection of the typical tropical drinks including pina colada, rum runner, etc. I love their Bahamarita which is $7 and absolutely delicious. It comes with an extra little shot of tequila on the side which you can pour into your glass with the already-made slushy cocktail. If I lived closer I would definitely hit this place up more- especially for the drinks and appetizers.

It was great, then good, then bad, back to good. I think this is what happens to big chains, they go through waves of changes. I have mixed feelings of this place. Everyone leaves this place looking so happy so I give it an extra star for that. Maybe the drinks are great! I don't know. The food definitely looks better, although it all taste the same as before. Better than some, average at best, the food is chain type food. Oh well, as everyone says it' s just ok. Novelty wins here!

Excellent food and Betty our server was also excellent. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is terrific. Give yourself a treat and stop in this place on a special occasion. Thanks we had a great time! One side note my boss called the manager because he knew we were celebrating our first anniversary and my boss wanted to surprise us with dessert. The manager was not accommodating ( maybe he could use some tips from his staff) nor could he recommend any other places in the mall for him to call. It did work out though he got the people at our hotel to out some dessert in the fridge.

I came back today hoping for a better experience. I was not disappointed! Our server, I think his name was Moss?... was very nice and patient with us. He checked on us often and brought out refills without of us asking. We had the adobo chicken tacocs for an app, it was ok. More on the bland side. For our entrees we had top sirloin steak and the lobster mac & cheese. I'm a sucker for lobster, and I was so impressed because it was delicious. The sauce it came with was not to my liking, but everything else was good. I'm very pleased with the menu change. I'm excited to come back someday and try something else!

I'm usually not big on chain restaurants, but we came here on a whim because they had the available time we wanted on open table. I was immediately pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere upon entering. It's huge and so packed, but so festive at the same time. I felt like I was taking a vacation somewhere in the tropic. I ordered a Bahama margarita and it was the perfect complement to our dinner. We ordered the shrimp and lobster quesadilla, steak Oscar, and coconut shrimp. The coconut shrimp was amazing! The others were okay. Decent food, with great prices, and friendly service made this a great dining experience. The best part is they even have a mouthwash station with mini mouthwash cups in the bathroom!

I decided to try a Cuban sandwich with a lot of modifications; I had them do just ham and salami, but add grilled onions and sauteed mushrooms, and have Manchego cheese on the side. I did the order to go, and the person who answered the phone didn't seem to be bothered at all by the special requests. I wound up not really being able to taste the ham or salami. I think the sandwich needed more meat, which is probaby what the pork is for, but I didn't like the pork last time I had it. The mushrooms were good, though, and the onions (diced into thin, flat squares) were nice and sweet. The Cuban bread is still great - it got a little soggy from the mushrooms (on bottom) and the onions (on top), but it stayed crispy on the outside. I found out I do not like Manchego cheese at all, which explains why it totally ruined the sandwich last time. It doesn't taste like anything, and the texture is just off. I also tried the onion rings. You couldn't taste the coconut (which is good since I don't like coconut), and they had a slightly interesting flavor, but they weren't anything to rave about. I did like the sauce they came with, though. I might give it another go sometime; the fries are still excellent.

Came here for happy hour two days in a row!!! Great HH deals with good service. Our waitress am even made sure we had some of their sauces to-go! We ordered the buttermilk fried chicken sliders and the firecracker shrimp on both occasions. The first dish came with four sliders. The chicken was super tender and quite large for a slider (which is good!!! More meat!!). It also comes with a citrus mustard, yum! The firecracker shrimp is hands down my favorite dish, although I highly recommend both this and the chicken sliders. The firecracker shrimp isn't even that spicy. I was hesitant to order it at first because of the name. The accompanying sauce is made of sriracha, mayo, and something else that makes it garlic-y. Among those favorites I have also tried the lobster and shrimp quesadillas, and Jamaican wings. Both were also quite tasty, but I felt they didn't compare to the first two dishes. Definitely come in for HH. I have eaten here before at the regular dinner service time and experienced subpar customer service and felt some dishes to be just okay. So maybe just do HH here.

Chain restaurants, you pretty much know what you are going to get. That being said, the food here is just sub par for me. It is usually the service that I am thinking about in cases like this. Waitress was good, pleasant, quick. I had the coconut shrimp which came with rice and broccoli. Rice was warm at best. Shrimp was tasty. The rest of the clan I was with had the fish tacos and raved about them. They came with a side of the best looking fruit salad I have ever seen topped with Mango Sorbet. Husband was nice enough to let me have a bite. Oh man is that good stuff. Honestly, for what you are getting, I think that it is a tad over priced. I would like to come back and try their happy hour if it is as good as everyone claims.

I had some co-workers in town from a satellite office in Greenville, SC. We were browsing the web for some good happy hour and came across Bahama Breeze. Website advertises happy hour Mon-Fri 4pm-6pm. It was 4:45 and we were a mere 10 minutes away, perfect! Or so we thought. Arrived at the place and was told they no longer have happy hour on Fridays. They stopped doing that over a month ago we were told. FAIL. KEEP YOUR WEBSITE UPDATED.

Very disappointed in the staff here. After we were seated no one came to our table. 3 tables came after us and received service. Finally we decide take matter into our on hands. We approach a server n told him about our situation. He took our orders and said he will find out server. Really. I asked him if that's case y don't he just service us. Since he was the server for the table next to us. What I don't understand is y did it take anyone so long to even come to our table? The food was decent. But it not a place I will come back too. We felt like they didn't want to provide us with any service. Even if the food was spectacular. Service is big to me.

YUM! This really isn't the type of restaurant I would normally choose to go to, as I grew up in Alaska and seafood chain places give me the heebie jeebies, but I am soooo happy my boyfriend and I have this one a shot! Okay, none of us got seafood but being a seafood snob is a hard habit to break! I got the applewood smoked bacon and pepper jack cheeseburger which was nothing less than perfect. The bacon and hamburger patty were both thick and spiced to perfect tastiness, the veggies crisp and fresh, and the cheese had a great kick! The fries were fantastic as well - small and thin but maybe a little bit too over spiced. I liked it but my boyfriend is a very plain eater so half of his ended up on my plate. He got the jerk chicken which I've never had before so I can't describe it that well but he was really impressed. From the bites I stole I can tell you that the chicken was moist and nowhere near dry, beautifully flavored / spiced, and fell off the bone easily. I hate messy food and getting my fingers icky but I was NOT gonna complain since it was so worth it! I definitely found my new favorite restaurant in the area but I can't lie, the women's bathroom was really close to being defined as filthy...not a pleasant potty trip. Maybe because it's right next to the bar?

Found out that Bahama Breeze had happy hour specials so we decided to come check it out. The first time we went we ordered all the food items from the happy hour menu to try everything out. When the food came out, we didn't expect them to be such big portions. Some restaurants skimp out on happy hour sizes and this place does not. The next time we went we knew exactly what we wanted. My favorites are the shrimp and lobster tacos, coconut shrimp (which we initially thought was calamari), and habanero chicken.

I was in town and remembered that I loved the pasta here, so we opted to go for lunch. I was a little worried as it had been a while since I had been and wondered if I had built it up in my head. Definitely not the case, it was as fabulous as I remember! The service (Sam P) in the lounge area was excellent. She was upbeat, friendly and offered great suggestions. Talk about raising the bar, she well exceeded my every expectation and more. The food: I had to order the Jerk Chicken Pasta as that was my favorite meal back in the day from this place. The portion size is very large, so it makes for great leftovers too. The Jerk Chicken was seasoned just right, the fresh asparagus and mushrooms tossed in creamy parmesan sauce with the bow-tie pasta just screams deliciousness. (So not a low calorie meal but ever so tasty!) I did order a side Caesar Salad to start the meal, for being a "side" it was a large portion as well. For a meal around $20 I walked out of this place very satisfied plus i had lunch for the next day. The Island decor, yummy food & great service totally makes this place awesome!

There were 21 of us for a retirement celebration. The service was good, some of the party were very complementary of their entrees and the apps were nice. A coworker and I both opted for the paella. I was not impressed. For a dish that is largely rice I expected better. The mussels(all 5 of them) were over cooked and the dish was quite bland. My coworker had an unopened mussel in his meal. When he asked the server about it, the server returned with the admonition from the kitchen to not eat it. I would have expected some sort of apology or the offer of a free desert etc. Nothing but the matter of fact unopened shellfish warning. The dish should never have left the kitchen. This left my coworker with a bad taste in his mouth (pun intended). It ruined the evening for him. They are not shy with their prices. They should have been more outgoing with their damage control.

I don't like to give bad reviews so let me explain... I had to pick up my sister and brother from the airport around dinner time so I asked if we could grab a bite to eat to let traffic die down. Bahama Breeze is relatively close and predictable so BB it was. We had a party of 7 (we had other family members join us). I called 30 minutes in advance in case there was a long wait. I was told it wouldn't be long for a table. We arrived a few minutes early and we're asked if we wanted to sit near the bar (enclosed seating) since there wasn't a wait. Not knowing that it was chilly in there I said sure. First of all they only had round tables near the bar. The round tables seat 5 adults. Were we supposed to have the other two at a different table? I was reassured it wasn't cold, but it was. Good thing I wore a jacket and downed multiple cups of hot water. We ended up sliding the two round tables next to one another. Seating was a little awkward. The waitress brought out the menus and we ordered our drinks. On the menu I ordered some yuca fries. I really enjoyed the chicken sliders the last time I was there and it was no longer on the menu. The last time we came here they stopped serving the chicken kababs (that we liked) now they got rid of the sliders too? I ended up getting the lobster and shrimp quesadilla, chicken empanadas and a single pork street taco. Everything that I ordered was just OK. The quesadilla was filled with a bunch of cheese, the shrimp was a little over cooked and I'm not so sure I got any lobster. The empanadas were missing something. I guess if you dipped it in their coverup sauce you might not notice. The pork taco was eh. A little flavour, but kinda dry. I asked for their signature habanero sauce. We were told they were phasing it out?Really??!! sigh I'm giving BB two stars. The waitress was nice and they were playing the Cowboys vs the Redskins game. The really should get larger tvs though. It was kind of hard to see it from our table since we were a little further away. I wouldn't recommend this place, they keep getting rid of items on their menu that I like!

This place is more form than function, more style than substance. The empenadas are delicious, and a few other menu items really stand out, but it's definitely more of a "destination" restaurant than one focused on preparing and serving excellent food. Good sized bar with plenty of rail and table seating. Decent beer selection. The 'tenders know how to make a good cocktail, so if you want an appetizer and a good drink with some friends, this place is absolutely worth going to; if you want a really good meal for dinner, skip it and spend your money elsewhere.

Great place to get your Caribbean on!! Good and Huge portions. There are so many choices for everyone in your party. We celebrated our 14 year old son's birthday. Good times! The staff was very friendly and the prices were reasonable. You'll not be disappointed

Inconsistent service. There have been times where the service was great and a time where I sat at the bar for over 10 mins ( had made eye contact with the bartender a few times ) without being greeted. But without a doubt the menu is awesome - for food and drinks. Good happy hour , great variety.

Not a bad place. The atmosphere is pretty neat with a kinda fun carribean vibe. We went for happy hour which was pretty great. The drinks were affordable and the HH menu was actually pretty substantial for the cost. Overall a very pleasent evening.

Can never go wrong with a good happy hour! Good, cheap drinks and food with full flavor! Love the skillet simmered shrimp...the bread is perfect for soaking up all the yummy sauce! Jerk chicken pasta is pretty good also and the grilled chicken with cilantro-crema is always a go to dish for me. Half price apps are a steal so replace your Applebee's happy hour with this one! You won't be disappointed!

Table for 8 on a Sat. - no problem. Pros: Excellent service, good yucca cheese balls, great fruit salad with sorbet. Cons: Fish tacos (MahiMahi) tasted "fishy" so ya gotta wonder about the freshness and they were overcooked; drinks were sorely lacking in alcohol; Cuban sandwich was just "ok" not great. Did NOT like the guy, who was not our server, showing up and trying to upsell us to dessert. Creepy and unwarranted. Potential here but need better execution. May try again, may not. Just ok, not great.

We had high hope's going to BB. the drinks were good and the coconut shrimp was yummy. After waiting for over 30 minutes for the entree we asked how much longer, the waitress came back and said they burned one of the meals. Never even mentioned comping or discounting us. Foods was just ok for the price. Cross off BB from our choices at south center.

Enjoyed variety on the menu. Didn't enjoy the jerk chicken. I usually enjoy all there other appetizers. Maybe it's because I'm just so use to guam Jamaican grill Waitress r awesome and very nice

Stopped in for a little day drinking and appetizers. We had the buttermilk chicken sliders and they were so good!! We also had some yuca but the sauce was gross so the bartender switched it out for some sriracha and mayo sauce that was way better. Bartenders are friendly and attentive, so it made day drinking a lot of fun.

Average food quality, I don't think they serve anything that is spectacular. The cocktails come in a pretty extensive list, and it's just ok. But...the service is something different. I came with other people, there were about 15 of us. Waiter took our order, and 20-25 minutes later, brought our food, a few dishes at a time. He brought everyone's food except for one girl...she waited and waited some more, apparently the waiter forgot her order! By the time she got her food, everyone was done eating. Even so, the waiter didn't even offer any discounts, let alone write off her bill like some other restaurants would do after they messed up. What a disappointment. Average food + mediocre service = won't be returning.

The best thing about Bahama Breeze is the atmosphere. The fireplace in the round inside of a little rounded gazebo-like tower is admittedly very cool...somewhat reminiscent of The Matador in terms of atmosphere. I ordered the jerk chicken, and I'd say it was just above average since I really like spicy food and this wasn't spicy. My girlfriend absolutely loves this place and their happy hour, so, it's a guarantee that I'll be back. Gotta please la latina, and the fireplace table is a nice place to kiss. For me, it's a place with decent food and a great atmosphere. Anyplace with big fireplaces is cool in my book whether it's this place, Matador, or the awesome outdoor fireplaces of Kennedy School in Portland. I dig.

The mojito tasted fine, but smaller than I'd expect for the price. The appetizer menu made special note that they appetizers were especially large and good for sharing. The Coconut Shrimp appetizer was only 6 shrimp (probably about 25 count size shrimp). It was also not noticeably coconut-y. Jerk Plank Halibut was a pretty big piece of halibut cooked underdone (which is much better than overdone, but still not right) on a bed of whipped potatoes. The jerk sauce on the halibut was very bland and barely had any pimento (allspice) flavor. The potatoes were good, but not nearly garlicky enough to justify being called "garlic mashed potatoes". Also on the side were some fried bananas and a diced fruit salsa. The fruits were fine, but nothing special. Overall, the meal was not close to worth the $50 it cost me.

An island themed restaurant chain with decent food. I wouldn't call the food tropical or hawaiian, but it is delicious. Great food and friendly service, a nice place for a nice meal.

I'm one of those people that loves to try new things. Especially new food!! Well when I visit Bahama Breeze..... I can't stop myself from getting their Key West fish tacos!!! They are perfect & so delish every single time!!!! Think I've gone back now 4 times JUST for the tacos!! Comes with a choice of tomato salad, rice or fruit bowl with mango sorbet. I always go on lunch break from work so I unfortunately haven't had the chance to try any of their delicious looking drinks..... YET! I'll definitely be back for more..

I've been here quite a few times, but I'm just now reviewing the restaurant. Drinks: Mojito.... too much ice, probably the only reason it was 4 stars. Appetizer: Coconut shrimp good! I always get these when I go here. Food: Jerk chicken pasta w/asparagus is good, try and ask for extra asparagus makes it much better. Also you can small portion it for anyone worrying about their figure or weight. Seafood Paella is filled w/sooo much seafood it seems like there is more seafood than rice. Every bite has sausage and seafood in it!

SOUTHCENTER PARKING LOT?! Red Robin, Oliver Garden, AppleBee's, and a splash of the Jamaican theme going on SMOOSHED all in one is how to sum up Bahama Breeze. It's always an "IN BETWEEN" with this place. Don't love it or hate it. Just settle for it. I never understood why they built this restaurant in the middle of SouthCenter Mall's parking lot. Weird location. I've been to amazing and legit Caribbean restaurants in bigger cities and wouldn't classify this place as Caribbean just because they identify basic foods with "jamaican" infront of the meal. Uhm, NO. I've been here a few times and have enjoyed it more each time. The atmosphere is very "family friendly" and never had to wait too long to get a table. The hosts and wait-staff are on point and very very nice. Although they already added the gratuity fee to your bill I still like to give extra. Very nice servers. The first time I came here I wasn't pleased with the food. The cuban flat bread appetizer was okay. Big portion for a cheap appetizer but I only had two slices and called that quits. I ordered the Breeze Wood-Grilled Chicken Breast and wasn't too thrilled. The description of this meal says "Moist and tender with citrus butter sauce, fresh broccoli and cinamon mashed sweet potatoes". I don't recall it being moist, all i remember was that it was kind of dry. I love the drinks here. Their blended drinks are very delicious. The one dish I really reallly recommend and enjoy is the Calypso Shrimp Linguine. Absolutely AMAZING! Definately worth the money for the taste. I also liked the Firecracker Shrimp (appetizer). And the drink I've enjoyed with my meal was a Bahamarita, SO GOOD for only $5.50! Might I add... the deserts here are off the chains! Chocolate Island was so good. The deserts clearly have no ties with anything Caribbean though.

This place was great! It was our last night night in Seatttle before heading back to CA and we wanted to eat at a place that we don't have at home (and that was close to our hotel). The atmoshpere was and our waiter was extremely nice and very personable and our food came out in record time and It was delicious!! I would definitely go back again if given the opportunity.

I was at this place on 9-5-10. Bahama Breeze, Bahama Breeze! I have no idea why I have passed this place so many times during visits to Southcenter Mall. This place is great. Well me and two friends from out of town decided to try this place before their flights back to home. It was totally random. The place has a nice feel to it. It didn't really feel rushed or busy, despite having a good amount of people in it. It is huge inside also. The food is great. I had the breaded shrimp, & the clam chowder also. Yummy. The service is fast, & attentive. Our waiter Ashley G was great, & very courteous. They even have a person who opens the door when you enter & leave. Yay! Attention to detail. The prices are not expensive at all, which is great! What else could you ask for? Fast, attentive, & courteous service, nice environment. Gotta love it. The restrooms are clean, & not nasty. They even have mouthwash, lotion, etc to use if you choose to do so! It's the little things that this place has covered, that makes it so great. Stop by if you're in the area. It's worth it.

First of all, I want to say that at one point I would have given this place 4 or 5 stars, but it has seriously gone downhill. It seems like both the food and the service has gone down. My boyfriend and I ordered a mango beach smoothie and when the waitress brought it out, she didn't even bother to give us any waters. I guess she assumed that we were going to share one smoothie. She didn't bring out any water until we asked her to towards the end of the meal. My boyfriend ordered the burger cooked medium rare and it came out overcooked, so we told the waitress who took it back. About 15 minutes later, she comes out with another burger and it was even more overcooked than the last one. The reason this place gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because the manager was nice enough to come out to talk to us. He admitted that the burger was overcooked and that he would be upset if it were him, and then offered to take the burger off the bill and gave us a dessert of our choice. So I used to CRAVE the jamaican jerk chicken wings here, but I had them today and they tasted very different. It tasted bland and not as good as they used to be. Also, I noticed that their portions are smaller than they used to be. You used to have a choice between 8 or 12 chicken wings and now it's between 4 or 8 wings. I'm pretty disappointed because I use to come here just for those wings, but I won't be back for them anytime soon. As for their positives, their mango beach smoothie is absolutely amazing. It's a mix of mango and pina colada mix and is one of the best smoothies I have ever had! The only bad thing I can think of is that one time, they mixed it wrong and it tasted like there wasn't enough of the mango flavor, so we told the waitress this, but she didn't even bother to take it back and have it remade and instead just brought out a cup of the "mango" flavor and told us to add it into the smoothie ourselves... we all felt like this was pretty rude. The other menu item that we really like is the west indies patties. It is a delicious pastry with beef filling and comes with a really good sauce. This is definitely a staple, we get it everytime we come here. I think the appetizers here are way better than their entrees. Usually when I come here, I just order a bunch of appetizers and no entrees because I don't think the entrees are even worth it. We also got the key lime pie because the manager offered us a complimentary dessert. It was pretty good, but I found an eyelash on it. We didn't want to complain anymore though so we just didn't say anything. Also, I like the bathrooms at this restaurant. They even have lotion and mouthwash in there! But today, every stall had no toilet paper left except for the very last one. So, I guess I have to say I am pretty disappointed. This place is also pretty overpriced... it used to be okay because it was worth it, but with the decline in food and service, I don't think it's worth it anymore and I probably won't be back here anytime soon.

I have been to Bahama Breeze a few times, for birthdays and whatnot, and have never been overwhelmed with anything except the price. The food is hit or miss. One friend had their signature Jerk Chicken Pasta which was exceedingly bland and tasteless. Another friend had a shrimp pasta dish that was a little better, but still nothing to write home about. I chose the smother pork tenderloin, and everyone at my table agreed it was absolutely delicious. With the atmosphere, service, and food quality I would put this place just barely above an Applebee's or TGI Friday's, but the average meal is around $14-$18, so I just don't really see the value. I agree with everyone, they do have a pretty great drink menu, but the pours are pretty weak and at around $8 or $9 each, I would just stick with a beer instead.

I personally think Bahama Breeze is great! I was first introduced to it by my parents, who are both big fans of the restaurant (In fact, they introduced it to me in Las Vegas!). I think the whole place has a super fun feel. The design of the restaurant fits their food theme perfectly. The waiters and waitresses have always been very nice and friendly, which adds to the upbeat feel of the place. And the food? The food is delicious! I personally love the Bahamian Grilled Kabob with chicken and now that I've experimented a bit, I now get the Kabob every time I go! I love it! The one downside is that when it gets a little busy, it's hard to flag down the waiters for help. It's a huge restaurant and sometimes the waiters are too busy running back and forth to realize that they are forgetting about a table or two. I also wish that it wasn't located so far away. Southcenter is a little far to go just for lunch when you live in North Seattle...or downtown even for that matter. It'd be great if they added another location further up north.

Bahama Breeze!!! For some reason I came here thinking it was caribean but I guess it's creole. (I don' t know the difference either way) So to give you the meat of what you want to hear in a review. We were seated and greeted by our waitress. "we will have the coconut shrimp to start off with... unless you recommend something else" "well... personally I think you might like the fire cracker shrimp better" "Fire cracker shrimp it is then" AND IT WAS!!! Totally kicked the butt of all the coconut shrimp that i have ever had. second order was reguarding some other food with similar story. I just forgot due to my lack of sleep the past few days. So... one recommendation... try the fire cracker shrimp. :)

It has been awhile since I last ate here, but I recall having a jerk chicken plate that was very delicious. Just the right taste and spice level. The service left room for improvement, but that's what I get for going on a weekend when the place was literally overflooded with people going out the front door. So I am chalking it up to being super busy, not a lack of courtesy. Also, I didn't try any myself, but have heard that this place makes really good alcoholic drinks as well. Of course with a Caribbean theme. All this talk about jerk chicken and exotic drinks makes me want to drive up north and go for round 2. I will just make sure that the next time, I go during a weekday or at off hours, because this place is jam packed. And jam packed often.

Just an "ok so-so ho hum" chain restaurant whose theme is island-inspired vibe and menu, yet often busy because of the location they have locked down in the parking lot of Southcenter Mall. Bahama Breeze is like the Caribbean ex-pat sibling of Denny's and Shari's. Talk about captive audience, if you shopped till you dropped this is a convenient place outside the Mall to rehydrate and refuel. Service is typically friendly and welcoming (think island hospitality) , there's no Happy Hour, the cocktails are basic and adequate. Prices are moderate.

The Short: If Denny's went to the tropics, then it would be called Bahama Breeze. Mediocre food, aloof service, and the only reason it stays in business is because of its high traffic location. The Story: I've given this place several chances to impress, since its grand opening, but this restaurant is consistently a loser. On my last visit the restaurant was mostly empty. Service: After 15 minutes of waiting our waiter finally acknowledged our presence to hand out the menus. After another 15 minutes of him ignoring us I had to wave him down so we could make our orders. He never checked up on us once, I had to wave him down for everything. However, I do give him credit for drawing that little fish on our to-go-box. Food: * Crab, Shrimp, Mango and Avocado Stack was straight out of the can: no flavor and an elementary school kid could have made it better. * West Indies Ribs were not even to the level of ribs from Safeway. The fries were probably sitting under a large heating lamp all day. * Firecracker Shrimp were tasty, like all deep fried shrimp are, but these ones gave a huge sour stomach ache later. All the other food was consistently bland. Bahama Weeze is one of the worst restaurants I have been to. Many uninformed people will continue to check it out because of its stellar location right in front of one of Washington's very popular shopping areas. BTW: Drawing a little fish on the to-go-box doesn't make up for dreadful customer service.

Bahama Breeze used to be our perennial birthday spot. After taking a year off last year, I hate to say my favorite place has turned into a typical chain restaurant. I ordered the chicken quesadilla which was supposed to come with chicken and tomato. Instead it came out with a tortilla and cheese. No different than what I can make at home. My friend ordered the bacon cheeseburger which used to be Amazing but it came out with no bacon. When he notified the waiter of this, it took them 10 minutes to bring the bacon and it came out cold on a plate. The bacon used to be thick applewood smoked bacon and now it's that cheap thin fast food type bacon. Completely uninspiring and we won't be back.

So far I've been to @ =casualties *is =island soul BB =Bahamas Breeze. The atmosphere at BB was like a Caribean gateway because they had live singer. Very spacious&indoor out door type of seating. drinks were similar to *is. Food similar to @ . I had platains, firecracker shrimp and Jamaican patties. So far *is makes best patties&platains. i will go back to *is on my own. Thee other2 BB/@? BB because i love the music selection, atmosphere and drinks. @ is cramped but menu selection has alot of choices. May go back during the day while every1 is at work/school.

I came here once after picking up my gf from the airport since it was nearby and my friend and I were starving. I remember they had a pretty good variety of menu items, and the food was quite good. The service I remember was average...nothing stood out as good or bad. However, I do remember the price being a little expensive for what you got. Again not a place i'd drive out of my way to go eat at. ~G

I have to give this restaurant, the 5 stars it deserved. Our server was friendly and she checked up on us when we needed her for some help. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very nice. Me and my boyfriend, we always passed by Bahama Breeze, but we weren't sure if it's alright or not. Finally, we got the chance to eat there after like 10+ times passing by. The food was absolutely delicious, I ordered the Chef's Special which was the Salmon & Tiger Shrimp. The Salmon wasn't too salty or too oily, it was just right. The taste of their salmon was scrumptious! My boyfriend ordered a Grilled Fresh Salmon Tostada w/chimi, the salad was delicious as well. If I were to go there again, I think I would order the salad since the calories is like 1045! The interior of the restaurant kind of reminds me of Rainforest restaurant in Southcenter Mall. Kind of like the luxury version, but more Jamaican feel!

fantastic place! came here for lunch. We were shock that their alcohol drinks were so affordable. Average 5-7 bucks per drink. And so much fruity topical drinks to choice from. Yum! I have the pina colada. It was good but bit too sweet for my liking. I did tried other drinks they had. They were all good. I have the fish taco and the Bohemian clam chowder. It was delicious. The clam chowder was so creamy. It totally hit the spot. I had the duke and ivar's chowder before. To me Bahama breeze's has the best clam chowder compares those two restaurant I had mention. The side salad they had was very pretty and yummy. None of those cheap romaine lettuce crap. The coconut shrimp were good too and so was the shrimp pasta. Awesome choice for good food and good drink.

Arrived at 11am. Ordered a burger and fish taco, It took 30 minutes to receive the food after the server took the order. At that time of day we were just about the only ones there, so obviously they can't use the excuse of being too busy. Burger was not a fanfare event. The most flavor was from the butter on the bun. A side of mayo and mustard was supplied. No relish or special sauce? The menu mentioned shaved red onions. You would think shaved would me shaved. Nope, a thick slice of red onion. The fish taco has for the most part flavorless. Most others have slaw in the wrapper, but not here. Another customer that arrived after we did ordered the same burger. He received his before mine. He complained it was cold. Sounds like he had the burger that was sitting there that was destined for me. Impressed to say the least.

This place reminds me of that restaurant, Chotchkie's (the TGI Friday's of Office Space) with their adorably silly decorations and waiters and waitresses wearing Hawaiian print shirts (imagine if they had to collect flairs too!). Despite the cheesy decor, I still love their medium-rare steaks and appreciate their fast and friendly service.

Average. This is the best way to explain the food at Bahama Breeze, it was cooked, it was edible, but for $15, I'd rather get something at least slightly better than edible. The sweet mashed potatoes are fun, not something that you can find at every restaurant here in the Seattle area. Barely Average: This is the best way to describe the food service - if you don't have a lot of personality, perhaps you shouldn't be working in such a sociable industry (idiot bar tender who didn't deserve the $4 tip, but I felt bad thinking she must have had some series of unfortunate events to be in her late 20s and working at a bar in a c-class restaurant) Not bad: This will describe the drinks, although I did not order drinks the last time I was there, I've had them before, they have some fun frutiy mixed drinks. One was a cactus something or another, it was delicious not super fabulous though. I'll go to Bahama Breeze again, but it wouldn't be on my short list of places to go.

I love this place. I wish that they would bring back their Margaretta Chicken dish back though. Cocktails are great. The fire pit in the bar gives off a great atmosphere. I went on a stormy rainy day, and I was bummed to see the torches out. If you ever need a little Caribbean in your life on a budget, this is the place to go. Flat bread is pretty amazing, without being too filing.

For main dishes...the Ribs, Jerk Chicken Pasta, and Salmon are my personal favorites. The restaurant itself is nice and service is good. However, they have police officers walking around which gives the restaurant a Shaw Shank Redemption quality about it. But overall ...it's a nice place. I agree with Diego S, that there is too much ice in the mojitos. Also there is too much coconut fiber in the Ultimate Margarita and sometimes the sport channels in the bar is not showing the major event.

I'm embarrassed to say that this food snob kinda loves this chain restaurant. Yes, you feel like you are on an assembly line and you never forget it's a chain for a second, but the giant strawberry lemonades and fish tacos are perfect for lunch and the seafood paella and potpie destroyed me at dinner. There's also key lime pie which is shockingly good for being made 2000 miles away from Florida (where the best key lime pies are made fyi).

The first day of our vacation started rather slowly because we landed at 7:00 pm and had to make a stop at Target to pick up some necessities. After a 2 hour flight, we were ready to eat. We weren't overwhelmed with any of the selections nearby and I failed to make full use yelp prior to leaving San Jose. The decision was made to drive around the area until we saw BB that is. BB was chosen because it is not available in SJ, although I may have tried their venue in LV some years back (alzheimers kicking in). BB reminded me Elephant Bar with better food and service. We started with their Jamaican Grilled Chicken Wings and ended with their Seafood Paella and washed them down with a mango mojito. Our order of the chicken wings took too long to prepare so they gave us a complimentary 1/2 order more of the chicken wings and the manager even greeted us and explained the situation. The complimentary wings were delicious and with chicken meat literally peeling off the bone. The actual order of our wings weren't as good. The 1.5 order of the wings was way too much for the 2 of us. The seafood paella was ok...rather salty, but we managed to finish it anyway. The fresh mango mojito helped washing it down. They literally put fresh mangoes in the mojito. Yummy!!! We need a BB here in Bay Area...

This is a fun place if you are craving for the island life, staff walking around with Islander shirts on, the atmosphere has palm trees around and island music playing in the background. The food was ok, but the atmosphere was fun.... the BF had the Jamaican chicken, the mashed sweet potatoes were delish!! I had the jerk chicken with penne light fare, which in my mind was a LOT!!! I can only imagine what the FULL fare looked like, couldn't even finish the light fare.....

Pretty good! I don't think that the dish that I ordered would give a fair judgment of this establishment, but I have to go with 3 stars for now. My girlfriend received the bahamian chicken salad, with some mighty fine chicken skewers on top an assortment of vegetables. Next time I come, I'll try some jerk chicken, maybe update my review :)

Went here with a large group from work. We got seated in the patio area around a large fire pit. That sucker put off some serious heat, but it still managed to be quite comfortable. I ended up having a chicken and mushroom pasta that was quite delicious. The portion was more than enough, which I lamented when the question of desserts came up. Long story short, there was good atmosphere and some pretty good food. I would definitely go again.

I've been going to this place for the last 5 years I would say. Before I love to bring a bunch of my friends here order a bunch of appetizers and sit, it was pretty awesome. However, recently for the last year or so, the menu changes and the food got WAY worse... I actually got a job with the guy who used to work in the kitchen there, he said the place changes head chef and the new one's bad, that explains a lot! anyway it's not what it used to be, the atmosphere's still ok, the drinks are still ok, just the food quality had gone down, enter at your own risk.

I believe, but unsure, that they are owned by Red Robins. Love the atmosphere and the big firepit by the bar area. When you go there, it's a must that you try the beer that is especially brewed and available at their restaurant only, forgot what it's called. I would give them a 4 on a scale of 5 for their cocktails, mixed drinks and selections. The food is good, better than other chain restaurants. You're looking to spend between $15-20 per person depending on what you get. I recommend the Flatbread and Habenero Wings, that's if you can handle spicy dishes, as appetizers. I find it really relaxing and soothing, that there's an old man playing island tunes, I give that 2 THUMBS UP for thinking of it.

Being from California, we were looking to eat somewhere different that wasn't available in California. After our excursion to Nordie's, we headed over to Bahama Breeze. I love the Carribean plantation style decor. It's basically your typical Chili's, Red Lobster, Olive Garden but with a Carribean twist, which I found refreshing and fun. Mojitos...I had the pineapple, mom had the mango and they were both delicious and refreshing! Both had fresh muddled fruit and my sister's Bahama Breeze was on point. Despite what others say, I really liked the food. My parents shared the paella, which I found to be really good, by american standards. My sister and I shared the rib plate and while I didn't really care for the guava bbq sauce, overall it did its job. The jerk chicken wings are the bomb AND they leave the tip on, which is my favorite part! I wish we had more time in Seattle, so I could have gone to the bar side for the happy hour. Bahama Breeze please come to the Bay Area!!

Bahama Breeze is near SeaTac Airport, the hubby and I frequently travel down that direction to pick up the in-laws so we figured we would try Bahama Breeze. My boss recommended the place because of their Jamaican Grilled Chicken Wings, which is what I had. They were very tasty. The nice thing about the wings was that they were actual wings! They come eight to a plate, and are very large which was enough for me to eat on my own and get full from. We also had the Fire-Roasted Jerk Shrimp, the shrimp was well cooked and it is served with a large portion of bread to dip in the sauce. Being from California, one of the places I miss is Islands. Bahama Breeze is very similar is ambience, but not as good as Islands when it comes to the food. I gave this a three star instead of four, because the food was good but I will probably only return if I am with a group of people who want to go there.

Before i dine at a restaurant i usually ask myself, what would this place really have to offer..well at bahama breeze, they have nothing to offer me..i mean dont get me wrong, their service was great but i cant say the same for their food..i ordered a full size portioned of jerk chicken pasta and it tasted as if i paid 17 dollars for a t.v dinner..it was very dry and plain..it was good enough to eat though..but thats the problem, nearly every food ive eaten are "good"..i dont want good, i want great..their jamaican chicken wings tasted like my little sister made it..it was only chicken with a side of bbq sauce, (whats so fancy about that?), it was also just "good" (enough to eat)...my date tried their calypso linguine and she also said it was "good".. their settings are nice, pretty cool place for dinner but nothing fancy..just regular "good" top of the line t.v dinner kind of meals..

I wish I could say that the food was as good as the atmosphere of this place. It's beautiful inside and out but I must say, I was very disappointed when I ate the food. The fish was over cooked and very dry. The deserts and drinks are really good along with the appitizers, but the actuall meals? not so much.

I went here with my mom when it first opened and had my first mojito, which was great and made me a fan. Unfortunately, they've definitely gotten lazy with the mojitos. Watch your bartender make them... they've got the lime and mint in little plastic tubs, premeasured out and ready to be muddled. The problem is that they probably cut up the lime and mint long before they get muddled and into your drink so the flavors aren't very fresh. And they used to give you a small stick of raw sugar cane. I guess they probably save a lot of money by not giving you those anymore but still... I think you pay for it at this place. I've gone here a lot for just drinks with a coworker but have also have a few of the entrees. The kabobs seem to always be good and have a good marinade. I've also had the cuban sandwich which I would get again. If you're in Tukwila and you're looking for some place to eat dinner I'd recommend Mali Thai down the road...

Well... at least the drinks were strong. My expectations were fairly low - island-style decor that does that to me. I was expecting a Red Robin goes Caribbean and that is about what we got in terms of price and quality. The menu was interesting, and I felt fairly hopeful looking around the dinning room at all the happy diners. Overall, it is very kid and large group friendly. Half the food at our table was much better than expected. The other half was either very sloppily plated and/or over-cooked. Service was excellent. Fast, to the point and not ridiculous cheery, which I appreciate. I'm go out to eat not build a personal relationship with my server.... Well, most of the time anyway. I will give Bahama Breeze another try, if I'm down South Center way, preferably at happy hour so I can focus on the drinking with the food as a garnish on my table.

An old favorite. Came here on a first date and it ended up being "our place" and we returned again and again. The drinks are great and so are the appetizers. The Cobb Salad and Tropical Fruit Salad are my favorites! The flatbreads are great also!

Everything was good except for the most important thing - the food. The jerk chicken had no kick at all. I thought they just forgot the spice, so I asked the waitress and she said it depends on the cook. Some put a lot of spice on, and others very little. Why couldn't she tell me this when I was ordering?

I've always had good service here and good food. No complaints. I do miss some of the menu items they used to offer, but it's important for such places to rotate and update their menu. They draw on your left over box, which I think is cute.

I have not been disappointed with my Coconut Cosmo to my Jerkin Salmon with yellow rice and vegies. The ambiance is nice and no blaring music so you can actually hear what your date is saying. Great place to meet up with family or friends or happy hour.

My review is for the Bar area, I get Tostones and Beers with a few friends and we get a great time, this place is a warm place to be in the winter, clean bathrooms and good service, I live away from it but I'll drive to places like this... !! I recommend it for casual meetings or date.

I took my sister and her kids here after picking her up from a late flight last night. It was between here and 13 coins. The drinks were tasty and weak--exactly as I expected. I had the red pepper chicken. The chicken was very tasty, but the garlic mashed potatoes were gross. My sister had the shrimp and lobster pasta which she liked. This was a good late night option for a kid friendly choice, but I wouldn't go here again if it was earlier in the day.

I love everything about Bahama Breeze. I know it's not fine dining. I know it's kind of cheesy, it's not the "real" Bahamian food we should expect from a place with "Bahama" in its name. Tukwilla is hurting for good places to eat though, and as someone who frequently picks up famished friends from the airport, this is the perfect stop. Food is off the chain for the prices. No joke.

I loved the atmosphere of this place..I felt like I was in Key West! Too bad it has a freeway/road setting rather than a beach!! This was only my second time eating here but my friends and I were happy with our food! I ordered their fish taco which was deelish..it came with some sauce that had a nice bite to it and I loved the side salad that came with it..very fresh! We didnt' order any alcohol drinks but they looked yummy! Our server was very friendly and attentive and we all said we would come back...that's a good sign ;)

I have been coming here for YEARS and I have never had a bad meal. It's not spectacular food (how could it be, being owned by the Olive Garden people), but it's always tasty and the menu definitely has unique items on it. Their appetizers are divine, their house mojito is delicious, but their best entree is gone (crispy chicken salad). It's fun in the summer when they open up the patios and have the steel drum bands.

I had my first (ahem, legal) drink at Bahama Breeze, a mojito (duh). I'm a HUGE fan of the cuisine style. I always go right for the shrimp pasta options because they're seasoned perfectly, cleaned completely, and just the right size. The drinks are good, it's a fun atmosphere that stays laid-back even when it's packed, and is a great place to go with friends and/or family.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Seafood cooked as perfectly as it's possible to do, an amazing variety of excellent drinks, and servers who are just about the best I've ever encountered. Go. Now! Repeat, repeat, repeat. You won't be sorry because Bahama Breeze is the most incredible restaurant in the entire Seattle-Tacoma region.

We visited Bahama Breeze on a Saturday night a few weeks ago. Even calling 30 minutes ahead for a reservation, once we got there it was still a 30 minute wait. The decor was alright, very "island"-y. The food wasn't really good, and there were only 2-3 options on their expansive menu for vegetarians (including salads). It was overpriced for what it was, really. The drinks were really yummy, but had little to no liquor in them at all. The desserts are really good, but nothing you couldn't get from an Applebees or something. The service is so-so, could have been worse, could have been better. The only real reason I'm giving it 2 stars was because our waitress, while busy and not really that attentive, put up with us and our obnoxious demands and remarks. She got a nice tip from us that night!

4.5 stars, if there were half stars. I was really impressed with this restaurant -- I was expecting a typical chain restaurant in a mall parking lot, but this was so much more! I had a lemon-ginger mojito -- outstanding! In fact, I think I had 2 :) Really refreshing, good flavor. I had the special -- tiger shrimp in a lemon/coconut sauce served over orzo. The sauce was incredible. Served with green beans that were absolutely delicious as well. Everything was well cooked, nice presentation, and exceptional service. Our waiter was very attentive without hovering. My boyfriend had salmon, which I tried as well -- also excellent. All in all, very impressed! It felt like we were eating at a much nicer restaurant (if we weren't surrounded by tacky Caribbean decor ;)

The shrimp pasta is delicious!!! They promise shrimp in every bite, and they mean it! I get the large portion and take leftovers home for later. The tropical atmosphere is fun.

I've been very disappointed the last two times I've been here and won't be coming again. Avoid anything there with seafood in it. The only Breeze this place should be known for is the noxious wind your neighbours are sure to experience. Better in Florida, from what I remember a decade ago.

I am giving this 5 stars purely for the cuban bread. That bread is about as good as it gets. Besides that I had the coconut prawns & the creole goat cheese. All of it was good! Also had a couple bloody mary's and they were spicy & delicious. Service was good and they were quick.

I had Bahama Breeze's Coconut Shrimp w/ rice and their BBQ ribs w/ scalloped potatoes and surprisingly it was really good. I give this place 4 stars because their ribs tasted better than some restaurants that "specialize" in BBQ ribs.

So being as I was near the mall and nothing really sounded good I'd go ahead and have dinner at the Breeze. Meh. As most chains go, everything looks better on the menu than it does on the plate. My lady and I started off with a couple of Pina Colada's and they were pretty weak. She slammed hers and was feeling fine, f she did that anywhere else she'd be pretty buzzed. For dinner she got the Cuban Sandwich which tasted exactly like an Italian BMT from Subway. The server which was nice and pretty good as far as servers go suggested it as it was one of her favorites. I went with the rack of ribs as that was a signature dish at this place. The ribs actually looked tasty when they arrived at the table. They looked just like the ribs at Stanford's, but taste wise they were world's apart. Stanford's ribs fall off the bone, these ribs I had to cut with a knife and saw through them. Also they didn't take the membrane off the bottom side of the ribs and there were suspicious blue veiny type strands on the top side of the ribs hidden by the sauce. I kinda wanted to like this place, but overall it was a fail.

LOVE the calamari appetizer. It's really good. I've been there many times, I never get disappointed. Here are some good ones : Habanero Wings (It's a lot of wings- so make sure you have 3 -4 ppl sharing this appetizer) Coconut Shrimp (Appetizer) Almond Crusted Salmon was also really tasty and crunchy. The sauce was mouthwatering- make sure you have them with Cinnamon mashed Sweet Potatoes- you won't be disappointed. Dulce de Leche cheesecake ~ this one is covered with caramel sauce. It's good.

This place has inspired the chef in me. I am desperately in love with their Creole baked goat cheese (stuffed bell pepper) appetizer and now make my own at home! It's down next to South Center Mall, and has plenty of parking including free valet service! If you come here on the weekend, be prepared for a decent wait. You can call ahead for reservations, or just kill time in the bar! Service could be better, but the food makes up for it, giving you time to digest it all! They have good drinks (the drink list never ends!), not the fastest service due to their busyness, but go out by the firepit and order an appy and drink and you'll be fine until you are seated. The meals are large, plenty for one and leftovers or maybe two people. I enjoy the Pan Seared Salmon Pasta, and the other fish dishes. Their desserts are up there at the top of my list, with a Chocolate Island and Jose's Chocolate Tres Leches with fresh strawberries, which really makes it for me. Definitely check this place out and make sure you have room for an appetizer dinner and dessert, it's worth it! If you get full, the server will get it to-go for you and draw happy tropical pictures on the lid for ya!

Damn that's a lot of sweet potatoes! Which I love, by the way. But that's still a lot! Great fish & cheesy atmosphere with tropical live music in the middle of the Seattle 'burbs. The staff was really friendly, the fish was fresh and good (a bit on the greasy side), and the price was right. Good if you live in the area, not necessarily a 'destination' joint.

I heart the Bahama Breeze! I would usually steer clear of these typically "americanized" establishments, the Breeze is owned by Olive Garden and Red Lobster but I love anything tropical so I had to try it out. I've now been many times and they never disappoint. I find the service is good and the food even better. Don't come here if you expect authentic island food, this is not authentic, but it's really tasty. Try the Jerk chicken wings on the appe-teezer menu, they are excellent! For dessert go for the Lava Flow, mmmm.

I can't believe I'm writing a review about this place but here it goes..... So, I've gone here a few times (with work for lunch or a birthday party)... my experience has always been lackluster and negative...but never have I just gone here to have dinner. I was actually quite surprised... YES, it's so commercial.. the music, the weird feeling of being at an amusement park or on a sappy cruise (weird I know...).... So, it was Friday night and it was late and we were tired....and we were in dreadful Southcenter... yikes. So, my boyfriend suggested it, it was nearby and I had never had dinner there before.... So, we walk in and the wait was 50 minutes (and it was 8:30pm)... So, we decided to wait in the bar. There are 2 bars here because the place is huge. Luckily, a booth opened up in the bar so we ended up waiting maybe 20 minutes tops. The wait staff offered to take our buzzer thing back to the hostess (which I thought was very nice). We ended up having a couple of drinks with dinner... they were o.k. pretty strong for being a place like that. We had a very tasty "fire-roasted shrimp" for an appetizer. It was appropriately seasoned and the bread that came with it was freshly baked (impressive).. I had the chicken/steak kabobs and he had the paella. I actually really liked my dinner and so did he... Why oh why did this place actually have to be good?? Maybe it was a good night.....but as I looked around at other customers.... everyone seemed to be pretty happy with their food... we didn't wait too long for the food either.. In fact, I felt kind of sorry for the wait staff... primarily because they are forced to draw a "tropical" picture on our doggie bag/box.. I had a good experience.. my fingers are crossed it'll be just as good in the future (yes I will be back)...

Good place for a fancier-than-average dinner on a weekend or something. Not sure how "authentic" the food is, but it's pretty good just the same. I had the seared Ahi (one of my favorite dishes) and they certainly did it justice. The price wasn't too bad as well. They have a huge open space, with the bar in the middle. Kind of tiki-style atmosphere, which would be neat to take out of town guests to. It's in the mall parking lot, but don't let that fool you. Parking is a pain, because of how busy the dang mall is.

"meh" i was there when it first opened up. the service is disappointing and the food isn't all that jazz. the bartenders do what they're supposed to- i liked my tequila shot hanging on the side of my mug... but that's about it. the prices were outrageous for the quality and taste they were serving. nothing jumps out in taste from any of the entrees... i thought it was just a rough start, but i went back years later and still came out of Bahama Breeze unhappy. the service is seriously lacking everytime i go there.

I guess the industrialized interior of this restaurant is supposed to evoke feelings of being in the Bahamas. The food shows very little influence of the restaurants name and is overpriced for TGI Friday's style food.

Went on New Yrs day evening last week. This place looked nice and fun from the outside so it appealed to by boyfriend and me. The hostess was very friendly! great first impression! We sat down at a table in the firepit bar and were greeted by two servers. We overheard one say to the other "I thought I was taking that table". The server that said this was not the server taking the rest of the tables in the area, which seemed odd. Our server (apparently) then asked if we were ready we said "not quite" and that was the biggest mistake we made i guess. Fore the next 15 mins (happened to check clock because we wanted to go to movie) after we had decided our drink order (almost 20 mins after server was last there), OUR SERVER DID NOT COME BACK! we sat for over 20 mins with the other server in the section looking at us and me making eye contact with the expression that i needed service, and she would quickly look away every time as if she knew we needed something but it "wasnt her table". This happened numerous times! I made an effort to let her know we needed help and she was obviously avoiding us. She wouldnt even walk by our table, she would go the other two ways to avoid it. SO RUDE. We saw OUR SERVER walking aimlessly around the restaurant as if bored..... SHE FORGOT ABOUT OUR TABLE! After being ignored by the other server in the section for that long we were appalled. We could not believe that no one even cared we had been sitting at a table for 20 minutes without drinks... OBVIOUSLY we needed service. We then left the table and walked up to the bar and told the bartender of our horribly circumstance and he assured us that we would be taken care of at the bar. He was very friendly and gave great service but did not grab a manager or compensate out horrible waste of time we had just experienced. Horribly first impression of the restaurant. This restaurant clearly does not care that guests are taken care of, ever time. Coconut shrimp were awesome, but that does not make up for the fact that the cocktailers did not care that we were serviced. We were starving but could only order a quick appetizer or else we would have been late to our movie. Horrible experience.

Tasty (but slightly dry) almond-encrusted salmon. This was quite sufficient to satisfy my urge for fish after spending a day at the Hiram Chittenden Locks seeing live Salmon. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but my dinner companions raved over the chocolate island dessert. Although it was 10:30pm on a Saturday night, the parking lot was packed, as was the dining area, but we still were seated in reasonable time. The person who brought out our entrees (not our waitress) apologized for the length of time it took to bring them out and said dessert would be on the house, but evidently she didn't communicate it with our waitress so none of that happened. We didn't really care/notice the wait, so it wasn't a big deal. As generic chain-restaurants go, my first experience at Bahama Breeze told me it's passably good food, and I'd go there again if it was suggested, although I can't say it has any inkling of Bahama or Breeze influence.

I've eaten here a couple of times. The first time was right after it first opened and I was just starting to explore new food options/ideas, ie, I was breaking the pizza and Mexican food only diet I used to live on. I thought it was pretty good that first time. The restaurant itself is brightly decorated and in the evening they have Caribbean music playing outside when you walk in. Once inside, if music is playing, it would be hard to hear as this place is usually pretty busy. The service is alright, but nothing spectacular. The last time I dined here, I was underwhelmed. One of our vendors at work wanted to take us all out to eat, but his flight was at 7pm. We kicked around the idea of a seafood option on the waterfront, but then others decided a place near the airport would be a better option. I was not in on that decision. We got there around 4pm and the place was pretty dead. The hostess sat us at a table and our server came and took our drink orders. Then he took forever in bringing out the drinks. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and it was really quite blah. I don't know what was missing, but it was just really blah tasting. It needed some sort of flavor. If you're going to call yourself Caribbean cuisine, make sure you know what you're talking about, because I wouldn't call this Caribbean cuisine. It's all American food with Caribbean food names. Also, the drinks are all over-priced, but I guess that's what you should expect when dining at a chain.
