Green chile pasty = awesome Fried zucchini delicious Great service and really pleasant space, this place is a welcome addition to Belltown for a unique and tasty option to normal fare. I like it as a value option as well, a pasty with either salad or fires(handout) would make for a standout dinner/lunch anytime we don't feel like cooking. I walked by this place for a month or so until my wife and I decided to stop in and were pleasantly surprised by the large dining space in the back. We always thought it was empty but the back space is where everyone was sitting. Glad we decided to give it a try will definitely be back to sample more delicious pastys!

I go here for lunch all the time and always marvel how few people know about the place! Delicious with a great beer and wine selection, I'd highly recommend it! Try the curry pies!

We stopped in here to grab a quick bite. We ordered two dozen of their Twisted Wings and they were absolutely delicious. They slow cook the chicken so the flavor seeps deep in, and the blue cheese dressing they had was perfect. Will definitely come back to try other things on the menu, but will probably be back just for the wings!

Visited TP for the second time. Great place. Relaxed. Welcoming and friendly service. Have the Lafcadio 9. Great drink. Good light fare too.

We eat here on vacation while walking to the EMP. Husband had the Pasty, I had the best salad during my entire vacation. The pasty was also good. Location was small. Services was great. Honestly, it was the best part of our trip.

Did carry out on a burger and a "miner" pasty. Fries were very seasoned (SO said too much, I said perfect), pasty had a great texture and shape, but was a bit bland, but that is why they give you a side of gravy right. Bonus star because the bartender kept my water glass full while I was waiting for the order.

Great menu, fun servers, terrific location. The Zucchini Tempura and Southwest Quinoa Pasty were perfect! The bartender and waitstaff are great, and the menu is unique . . . a great new addition to Seattle!. I look forward to returning with friends.

I love pasties. I'm British. Of course I do. I was so excited to hear a place in seattle actually specializes in them. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. First off, let me start with the service. Our waitress was extremely nice but she must have been new and very untrained. When she asked for our drink orders, she informed us that the beers on draft were outdated on the menu and to check in the other room on the big board to see what was available. So we had to all go into another room from our table to check what beers were there. Then we ordered, and one guy in our party's order was drastically wrong. It had taken 30 minutes to get to us, so he chose to just take what he got instead of waiting for his correct order, afterwards, when it came time to pay, we requested it be split in two (it was a double date) and she had to come back to have us tell her all of our orders all over again so she could make the checks. In addition to that, it was extremely slow. From requesting the check and actually leaving, it was 35 minutes. On top of that, the pasties weren't that great. They really needed more juice and flavor in the actual pasty, instead of relying on the dipping sauces. So overall, the service was obviously bad, but I got the distinct impression that she was very new and not trained well. So I don't want to blame her. She was very nice. The food really could have been better. And maybe it's my bias British view of pasties, but there needs to be more flavor and juice. I got the corned beef, my boyfriend for the miner, and our friends got the filet. The filet was the only decent one because it has blue cheese in it and was therefore fairly juicy. However they said that while the pasty was delicious on its own, the sauce brought out the moldy flavor of the blue cheese and it was unsettling. The rest were kinda dry, lacked flavor, and relied way too heavily on the dipping sauce (that is difficult to use, since if you try to dip your pasty In there the innards fall out. Every time. It would bE better if they provided a tiny tea pot style so one could pour it on) This place certainly has potential, and maybe our experience was just an anomaly, but I really think it has improving to do. It was one of the worst overall dinners out I've ever had. I just gave 3 stars because I have a feeling the waitress was new.

Live nearby and finally checked it out and I am glad I did. Great happy hour, excellent drinks, excellent food. Have to try the bacon wrapped jalapeños! I've also had the wings and pasties. Both great.

A friend of mine lives in Belltown and wanted to check this new place out. Perhaps they're still ironing out the kinks because we went on a weeknight and it was pretty slow but our service was still quite bad. We waited a long time for everything, the kitchen messed up our order and we were given our meals at least 15 minutes apart with no explanation or apology from the server. The food wasn't terrible but certainly not very good. The pasties were bland and only really edible with copious amount of salt, pepper, and hot sauce added. Maybe they're going for that authentic English food experience? Anyway, I'm giving it two stars instead of one star because the drinks were good, and reasonably priced for an upscale Belltown bar. Maybe we'll try again in a couple months when they have their food and service more together.

I couldn't be more disappointed. It's opening week and I understand that. But the service was below subpar. My wife and I arrive. Sit at the bartop. We were greeted with "here's menus" after waiting awhile the bartender decided to stop cleaning and take our food and drink order. The food arrives. It was okay. Not great. But still kinda good. But the bartender was absentee at best (and we are right in front of him on a slow night ). At first we ordered doubles to drink. Then asked for a single after dinner. Now we really start being ignored. For last call we were TOLD we were okay. But then the waiting really began. With our credit card in front of us and empty drinks pushed forward we were ignored as the bartender kept walking back and forth in front of us not helping us at all. Other things were more important apparently. Dishes. Cleaning. Pouring himself a drink behind the bar and drinking it. And helping all the off duty employees on the bartop. They got a couple more drinks after last call. But yet we sat and waited. We lost count after the 6th time he paced in front of us. Finally he took our credit card and ran it. Then I had to ask for a receipt because I was in shock of the total! $80 for a pasty, a side dish, and 4 drinks. That and the piss poor service.... Sorry. Will definitely pass from now on

A new concept. Savory pie! It's dough shell wrapping some meat and veggie and baked to seal in the flavor. The shell was crispy with just the right amount of chew. The filling was delicious and just about the right portion. The beer selection was excellent too. I had a great time. Strangely the staff was not attentive. I stood at the door way for many minutes without anyone paying attention to me. The owner was lovely and friendly.

We stopped by the Twisty Pasty (pronounced "past-e") after reading positive reviews and needing a nearby place after hitting the Space Needle. The restaurant was cute and had a varied clientele. Originally we were a bit disappointed because the full pasty menu is not available everyday, but they select a handful of pasties for the day's menu. Luckily, even though it wasn't advertised as an option, they had a veggie option for my date. I broke the rules and didn't order a special and got fish and chips instead. Both of our orders were so delicious. The flavors in the veggie pasty were perfect and the fish and chips were perfectly fried and delicious. They also offer a great selection of craft beers with some unique cider options. My favorite part of the restaurant was the Pay It Forward board. There was a roll of paper on the wall where people could purchase a meal or a beer and offer it to whomever fits the criteria. You could offer a drink to a friend, to a member of the military, or even a random person from your hometown. It was such a nice, unique addition to a great lunch spot.

Stopped into Twisted Pasty on a whim. Just happened to be in the neighborhood and wanted a bite and this little gem called to me. I have to say, I was very pleased to stumble into such a place! Server was fantastic! Since I came in between breakfast and lunch I opted for breakfast. I ordered the Baked Blueberry French Toast. Wow does not even come close to the tasty meal I had. Blueberries were baked into the French toast and it was topped with whip cream and strawberries too. The bourbon syrup was a fantastic complement as well. I will definitely be back to try the Pasties, the table next to me ordered the Miner and the Philly Cheese Steak both I will be trying! Location = On the corner & easy to find in Belltown Service = Excellent Prices = Very reasonable for the large portion sizes Ambiance = Clean & the décor was awesome Food = Love it!

I ate here twice a week apart. Both times I went on a Sunday and ordered a brunch plate with syrup and both times fruit flies came in the syrup! The first time I didn't catch it before I poured it all over my food so they had to re-make my blueberry french toast. They gave me my food for free the first time but not the second. Also my friend found a hair in her pancakes the first trip. It's a damn shame because the inside of this place is so very cool, and their menu is amazing - tastes great without the flies- but the food takes a LONG time. #fliesinmysyrup

Tried the place today.. Quiet place for a lazy Saturday morning breakfast.. French toast with blueberries strawberries and bourbon syrup! Who wouldn't love that.. The breakfast skillet had a nice pasty with sausage cheese peppers and potatoes.. Potatoes were a little undercooked but the pasty itself tasted good! Would love to taste the pancakes next time.

Very cute decor, and you can find more space if you go farther back around the bar. The spicy Bloody Mary, made with their house jalapeño infused vodka, in my opinion is a tiny bit on the salty side, but it's still tasty. It comes full with olives, pepper, celery, and pickled asparagus. The pasties come with a side of soup, salad, or fries. The fries are natural cut fries and not super crispy, and some soggy. That could be good or bad, depending on your preference. They're accompanied by their unique house curry ketchup. Each pasty is around $13 and they really fill you up. They're super hearty but kind of bland. Not bad though since the 2 we got had dipping sauces, a gravy and a buttery mustard. Overall, it's a fun place to visit and try something different, but I'm not sure if I'll return. Maybe to meet up for drinks.

I had the Greek veggie pastry which was average at best, I did like the chipotle sauce recommendation but overall nothing life changing here. My friends had the miners pie and bangers and mash which they enjoyed but we probably my wont go back.

While I was planning my trip to Seattle, I came across a Groupon for this place. Saw that Twisted Pasty had good reviews and wanted to try it out, so I bought it. It wasn't too far from our hotel. We went on a Friday night around 9 pm. There was only one or 2 other tables there so pretty empty. A pretty quite ambiance, I liked it. We ordered: - bacon wrapped peppers - tempura zucchinis - banger and mash pasty with a mustard sauce on the side, and french fries - a few beers and a cocktail My least favorite dish were the zucchinis. Definitely not tempura style, more like a fish and chip batter. This was plenty of food for 2 people. We split the pasty. Everything else was tasty! They have a late night happy hour deal, 1/2 pasties a la carte. Cute restaurant!

We gave this place a second chance and experienced great service. It was a nice, sunny day and we sat indoors despite the available outdoor seating. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. We both ordered chicken cordon bleu pasties and they were delightful. They come with sides, so we got sides of fries and a salad to share. The food is so filling that each of us only finished half of our pasty and took the rest home. Unfortunately, both of us were left with tummy aches that night and into the next day (so badly that my fiance left work early) and I ended up tossing out the other half of my meal just to be safe. It is unlikely that we will return.

Tried this, after wandering by a few times. Situated on a corner, Twisted Pasty has a few outside seats, which are always welcome on a summer evening, so I elected to sit there. The menu has a nice selection of pasty, however, they are on rotation, so you need to check the board inside to see the current ones. I opted for something conservative, the miner, which while the actual flavors were good, the pastry itself was nice, the meat was tough, which detracted from the overall enjoyment of the meal. -1 star for the tough meat, but overall 4 for flavors, beer selection, service and location.

From out of town so I had never heard of a pasty before! We need to bring these to Delaware... Ordered a great beer flight (except their nitro's were different than what was listed-- no old Rasputin :{ bummer) but still very good. Service was friendly and prompt, they even plugged my phone in to charge! The pasty dough was great, fries were awesome and their house made ketchup too! But the meat inside The Miner was tough. The gravy made it better but I would have appreciated more tender beef; hence the 4 instead of 5 stars. I would love to try this restaurant again sometime, next time I'm in Seattle perhaps.

I've been here for a few times with my friends from school. Servers are efficient and informative. I got The miner pastry which has beef, potato, onions, and beef gravy. It was delicious. Also, I got daily desert pastry. It was tasty, I would love to have second one. Recommended place if you are looking for a place to dine in Belltown.

Pasties have good flavor, other food is bad, the people are friendly-- but this place needs a big overhaul in management. I was really torn on what review to give this place but I think this is most accurate. The few pasties I've gotten had good flavor (the greek was my favorite so far) but keep in mind they are very heavy. The chicken soup was the saltiest soup I've ever had in my life - terrible. Since then they have only had tomato basil which is passable. Lunch special grilled cheese with tomato soup - not good. One time they had free wine tasting but the sign outside, advertised, and the actual information were all differing so it seemed a little disorganized. The wine was excellent but there were supposed to be appetizers and we only got one fig (or date?) filled with cheese. One! Again they were nice to me but it shows a lack in managing. The workers are nice enough but many are not well trained and the wait is way too long. We waited over 20 mins for grilled cheese and tomato soup. And my mom didn't get her hot tea until after the 20 min wait for food. How long do those things take?? We were the only customers!! And once the waitress set the tea down she saw something wrong it in and really awkwardly took it back. It was obvious she had no idea what she was doing. The waitress 'apologized' for the wait but didn't really show any sincerity in the apology, or give an explanation, and seemed to avoid our table when she saw our growing impatience. It even took until we were about to leave for us to get refilled water. This place has potential but really needs to get its act together. A lot of organization and management and training goes into a good restaurant. At this point I've gone quite a few times and I will not go back unless I hear of some improvements.

I have to say that I am pretty surprised of some of the recent reviews on the food quality and the service received. We came in on a Monday night and it was a great experience. I will say our server seemed rather new and flustered at times but she made sure we were taken care of, was sincere, apologetic, and did a nice job. The ambiance of the restaurant is very clean and pleasant. I really liked the dining room, flowers on the tables, rack of wine bottles running through the dining room and the fireplace. As for food and drink we decided to try the $25 Monday deal with a pasty, small app, and a bottle of beer and then ordered an additional pasty. It was a ton of food and I thought a really great deal. Their beer menu was not updated and we ended up getting an unusual beer. We tried the tempura zucchini to start which was fresh, crispy and hot. This was some of the best fried zucchini I've had and was quickly devoured. For our pasties we shared the Taos verde and the Beer braised corned beef and cabbage. They come sliced in two so it was perfect for sharing. Both were on point! The corned beef and cabbage was meaty with some carrots and potatoes to round it out. It was excellent with the awesome mustard cream sauce. The taos verde reminded me of an empanada in the best way possible. It was packed with beef and potatoes and the Hatch green chili sauce was bomb. We even asked for another bottle of that green chili sauce The salad that we each got alongside our pasty was fresh and had a wonderful balsamic dressing. I thought the meal was filling and a great deal. I'm from Michigan and I thought the pasties were well made and liked the thinking-outside-the-box with the uniqueness in flavors. I hope to be back!

I happened to be walking by Twisted Pasty, and decided to place a takeaway order. The curry chicken pasty had a nice balance of flavors, with a lot of meat. The fries were amazing. I was happy with the food, but not so happy with the 35 minute wait time - I was just about to ask to cancel the order as it came out. When I placed my takeaway order, I wasn't advised about the wait time, nor was I offered the option for a "half-baked" pasty (that I saw later on their website). And while I enjoyed the food, I'm not sure it was worth the $12 price tag.

The atmosphere is cool and they make one heck of a whiskey brownie! I'm just not sure I like pasties. Either we ordered the wrong pasties or we're not fans of them. My husband had the Buffalo Chicken pasty with the soup of the day. The soup was so very forgettable that I can't actually remember what kind of soup it was - something clear, thin with very tiny chunks of meat. The pasty itself had a very nice crust, but the blue cheese and buffalo chicken filling was mushy and did not have a good texture. I ordered the SW Philly Cheese steak pasty with fries. The fries could have used another minute in the deep fryer as they weren't very crispy. Like my husband's pasty, the crust was perfect, but I was disappointed with the filling. The steak was tough and the onions overpowered the other flavors. The cheese sauce was a nice addition and also was great for dipping our fries into. I think if we came back, it would be for happy hour or a cocktail. We're happy to have tried pasties but probably wont get them again.

Terrible service, food has completely gone downhill, and the owner walks around like she's desperate from table to table... Don't waste your time unless you're into overpriced wine.

I went here on a whim with a date on a Sunday night. The place was almost dead. There were 3 other tables besides us. 1) It took our server an exceedingly long time to get our drink order. 2) Ordered a bottle of wine (which was good and reasonably priced). The wine service was laughable. Like, I literally almost started laughing at how hard the server worked to open that bottle of wine, complete with a 'pop' at the end. Even champagne shouldn't pop as loud as this flat wine did. But it was delicious, so there's that. 3) They were out of 3 of the pasties on their relatively small menu (I like small menus, but when you're out of 25% of it on a slow Sunday, that's a little embarrassing). 3) The greens that came with our pasties were wilted and just ... not good. 4) My date's pasty was pretty terrible. The potatoes were so undercooked as to be crunchy still, and the beef tasted like a Steak'em, and was bone dry (which is quite a feat for something that's cooked inside of, like, a shell. My pasty was passable, but nothing to write home about, although it wasn't hot at all, just lukewarm. 5) Luckily, the owner/manager[?] thought that dinner service was the perfect time to install a food warmer on the passoff, so we were delighted by the sound of drilling during the course of our meal. When I went to the bathroom, I had to step around parts that were laying on the floor. 6) Lastly, some of the staff decided to sit at the table behind us. I know it's a slow night, guys, but that's pretty tacky. There's plenty of space. Enjoy your shift drinks away from your guests. For the price, this was pretty terrible. If this was a $5 food cart pasty, mine would have been worth it, but the undercooked potatoes and dry beef in the other one was terrible. Two stars for what could be a nice atmosphere (minus the drilling), the good wine selection, and because we at least had a good time making fun of the train wreck.

Amazing food and service! Best place we have eaten in Seattle! Stumbled upon this place on our way to the space needle. So glad we decided to eat here! We had a butter cilantro steak, nachos, and jalapeños wrapped in bacon! AHHMAZING!

Contrary to popular belief, pasties here are not just nipple stickies worn at festivals. Apparently they are really delicious calzones. We shared the spinach, olive one and were both satisfied. Also enjoyed happy hour cocktails for only about $4. Shout out to our awesome bartender (whose name I didn't get) but who had read "Starship Troopers" and made co-ed shower reference to it. :)

Amazing place for wine and food. I see this as an amazing wine bar that just happens to have a restaurant attached! Wine prices are amazing by the glass and bottle- and you can take it home if you don't finish! Btw they have the best house wine and the service is off the hook!! Irish/English owners Christi and Cassie oversee all aspects of service and food. I can't wait till they compete in the upcoming chili cook-off!!! If you want the famous Pasty with bangers and mash featuring a delicious horseradish infused mash potatoes..... then get there early they sell out fast!!!

Damn this place is great. Amazing rotating tap list that specializes in odd brews. Excellent flavor profiles for their pasty selections. Charismatic bartenders and waitresses who offer honest suggestions about the food and drink, Casual environment with elevated food. Damn near perfect. I can't get back soon enough.

My husband and I are in Sesttle for the summer and live in Austin. This place is close to us and we love coming here for their "pasty hour" after 9pm. It's a really nice atmosphere. The wait staff is fantastic, as is the food, too! The pasty's are hearty and delicious! And the apple dessert with ice cream is so, so delicious! We enjoy sitting at the bar and chatting with the wait staff! Alexandra and Davy have both been excellent waiters!

We had breakfast there. We loved the French Toast. Presented cut up in chunks, it was easy to eat and share. Service was good as well. Only downside was that they were out of English Breakfast tea, but I suspect that was a one time thing.

Decent food but very slow service, even when we were one of a few groups inside the restaurant. Both of the pasties eaten for dinner were decent enough but not fantastic. My pasty was underseasoned but baked perfectly well and a very generous size. My fries were deliciously crunchy though. Their special seasonal dessert, the pumpkin pie pasty a la mode was absolutely fantastic. It was HUGE. Easily big enough to serve 2-3 people. There's no way someone could eat it on their own. the only issue is that from ordering our food to receiving our meal easily took half an hour or longer. A short meal turned into a longer one, especially after ordering dessert. Everything seems to be made to order so don't plan on showing up for a quick meal!

I don't know (idk) I'm kinda "twisted" on this place......... It's got good food and decent service by the ladies that serve each other... and you, by the way.. Could improve much better..., by the way.... It's worth a visit if you've already done the Needle.

I love this place. I live very close so I come here too often, but I don't think I have ever been disappointed. They have a great, rotating draft beer selection as well as delicious, rotating pasties. My go-to is the curry chicken pasty, but if that's not available I get the miner or corned beef. My friend fell in love with the bangers and mash, but I have yet to try a full one. I haven't seen this place completely packed so service is usually very fast. Love it.

I had a great time at happy hour. It was only by chance that I ate here. The specials are all tasty and they have good beers on tap. I can understand the complaint about the corned beef but mine had a lot of meat in it. I just thought it was a little dry. I also got to try the one with the beef and it was so much better that I think I will have that next time. The restaurant part seemed dead and not that inviting. However this could be the time of day. The bar seating was full and the design is a nice place to relax. I'll totally go back.

Amazing brunch -- try the breakfast pasty or the apple/brie pancakes. For dinner I love the carne adovada pasty. Whatever you do here, make sure you try the green hatch chili sauce. To. Die. For.

Went here for brunch with a friend while we were on a quick weekend trip to Seattle. We LOVED this place and were so glad we happened to walk past it. I had a Carne Adovada pasty which was amazing, my friend had huevos rancheros which were delicious - but we both would go for pasties of any kind next time. Bloody mary bar and mimosas looked great too!

Great pasty dough but I found the filings lackluster. The chicken cordon blue was super dry...same with the meat one. The only highlight was the Greek veggie pasty which saved the day. Very juicy and tender inside. That one gets a solid 4 stars. The test was below par unfortunately. Also the tomato basil soup was probably the worst attempt at a tomato basil ever. Too thick. Too acidic. Was basically tomato sauce. No sign of basil. Lol

Amazingly delicious comfort food, tasty beer, and a really cute and friendly redheaded waiter guy. Who could ask for more? I had the Miners Pasty with bacon chile mac and cheese, a pumpkin pasty (just like in Harry Potter!!), and a really nice mellow beer. I'm not usually a beer person, but I thought maybe I could stand to try a pint since I was at a British restaurant, and I'm glad I did. Whenever you want to feel like you're at the Hogs Head in Hogsmeade, like you're a Hobbit in the Shire, or you just need some comfort food, you can't go wrong with this place :)

The service here is very hit or miss. There are a couple employees (Jackson and some others) who seem to genuinely care about whether or not their customers have a good experience, but everyone else seems very unhappy with their jobs and takes it out on customers. This place advertised that they delivered to residents in my building and an employee refused to deliver to me. This isn't a huge deal, because it's on the same block but it was more of the fact that the employee refused to do something that they advertise they do. And she was quite rude about it too. The food is also very hit or miss. When I first tried it, the food was incredible! Now, I've been having worse and worse experienced every time I go back. I've had burgers that were burnt, waaay undercooked, soggy buns, and much more. They can't ever seen to get my order correct and I feel like McDonald's has a better chance of getting my order right. I hate leaving a bad review for a place, but they have disappointed me so many times and I even tried contacting the manager who offered no solution. This is not a good business and I do not recommend spending your money here.

This one star review is based solely on service and not on the food. I went there with my wife sat outside on the patio. I woman came by and slapped two menus on the table and said our pies today are written on the board inside, and then she walked off. I looked inside and I couldn't read the board. As she walked by my table a couple of minutes later I asked "do you mind telling me what's written on the board please" since it was too far for me too read. She didn't even stop walking and I could hear her say as I looked at the back of her head "your server will tell you that". With so many restaurants downtown you can't treat people like a douche. When are people going to figure that out? Needless to say we got up immediately and left, and I will never be back. If you own twisted pasty you might want to emphasize what service means to your customers, it is as important as the quality of your food.

Great food, great ambience, awesome people behind the bar. If I lived in the area I would be here all the time. I had the carne adovada pasty, and it was one of the best things I have eaten in a while. Tried the taos chile verde as well, and it was good, but not as good as the adovada. Lots of wine options too; and they sell bottles for super cheap! Totally worth it to take your time and get a bottle of wine and enjoy the ambiance. Solid beer choices as well.

While visiting family in Seattle we stopped at Twisted Pasty. My fiancee loves pasties. When we arrived they gave us their "Daily" menu. They then promptly told us about a item on the menu that they no longer carry. Not sold out, but something they no longer make at the restaurant.. If the menu was daily then they would not have to tell you about the items they no longer carry. To make matters worst that was my brothers favorite item from when he last ate at Twisted Pasty. I ordered the roast beef pasty. It was very fatty so each bite I took meant an entire strip of roast beef would come out, which is annoying. My brother who had originally raved about this place was no longer as big of a fan after this visit.

My wife and I have been here twice so far and we love the place. The owners are a really nice 20-30 something woman and her mom. We've tried a couple salads and the kim chi/shrimp and quinoa pasties. All were delicious, but the best part are their pitchers of mimosas made with a full bottle of sparking wine. I'm giving them a "yelp bump" because I really want them to stay in business. The space is beautiful but perhaps too large for the type of thing they're trying to do, and the Belltown rent must be really high. Here's hoping they sell lots of delicious pasties and stay in the neighborhood!

I would skip this place if you could. Service is slow and awful. You would think on a Sunday they would be ready to handle brunch. Nope it's not even full and the wait for food is more than 45 minutes. More restaurants in the area to try.

What a completely unexpected treat! I am from New Mexico. The ex-pat that is always on the lookout for something from home. I had THE best Green chili I have had outside of New Mexico/Colorado tonight!~ The perfect amount of heat and flavor. I had the flat corn enchiladas and was very happy to find that it did not dissapoint. I had braced myself for dissapointment as usually happens with this, and it was so refreshing that it was such a nice surprise. They have a variety of items that include green chili and you can order it on the side for anything. I thought the prices were very reasonable. Ok they did not have sopapillas or tortillas, and this is not a mexican restaruant. They dont really pretend to be two things and I think the chilie offerings were balanced to what else they have on the menu. I was just happy to see flat enchiladas offered with an egg! However it was delicious, the space was really nice, and the service was really attentive and friendly. Looking through the other reviews I think they had taken to heart some of the comments. I noticed that they did take breaks out of sight, and there were plenty of check ins even when it was a little busier. I will definately be back with others. However, I hope they expand on the New Mexican menu of course, breakfast items, sopapillas, as they are doing such a great job~ but I am clearly biased ;)....

This place is always great for a meal, a dessert, or a drink. It's fairly small, locally owned, and very charming. I go here often since moving nearby.

Anything the GREEN CHILI SAUCE touches is GOLD!!! I had the Bacon Wrapped Jalapeños and the Taos Chile Verde pasty with french fries. Holy smokes, it was all very very delicious!! I asked my waiter where the green chilis are from and the owner greeted my table and told us that they are specially ordered from New Mexico. So good. So good. I will definitely make it back to the Twisted Pasty next time I visit Seattle.

I'm sitting here at Twisted Pasty and it's been 45 minutes since ordering. The food has not come out and I'm hangry. The restaurant is not full and this is unacceptable. Will never come back here ever again. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

I came here last night with my fiancé. Since we came on a Thursday night, parking was fairly easy to find. The restaurant and bar area are nicely decorated. We originally sat in the back of the restaurant, but moved to the front because there were a number of fruit flies floating around. Yuck! I mentioned this to the waitress and she let me know they'd tried a bunch of times to get rid of them. This was fairly off-putting, but after moving to the front, there were no more flies, so we decided to stay. I ordered the Chicken Curry pasty and my fiancé had the Carne Adovada. Both were very tasty! The pastry shell was crispy and fresh, and the filling was flavorful. We ordered fries on the side, and they were also delicious. Crispy, but not greasy. I fully intended to have the whisky brownie, but both of us were completely satisfied after our meal. Next time! Our waitress was new, but quick and kind. We had a Groupon deal, which made this a steal! We'll be back. If they can get a handle on that fly problem, this would be a 5 star establishment.

First time at this place, looked interesting enough and the menu looked good so we gave it a shot. We came in over the weekend towards the evening and were excited because the place was almost empty, there were only two other tables dining in. We figured we'd get great service, but we were wrong. When the waitress (her name was Alexandra I believe) handed us the menu's, she asked if we wanted any drinks, we said we wanted to look over the menu first and then order. As a general rule, my girlfriend and I don't order drinks until after appetizers to experience some of the food and service because the most money is spent on drinks and dinner. The waitress came back after a few minutes and we asked for another minute to decide what we wanted, we figured it wasn't a big deal because the place was so empty. She then proceeded to roll her eyes at us and walked away without saying a word. After a minute we were ready to order, but she didn't come back to us until after ten minutes. She seemed more interested in chatting up with her co worker, which is fine when there's nothing to do, but if there are people waiting, help them, check up on them, ask if you can make any suggestions. After making eye contact with her three times, she finally came over. We ordered appetizers, and we couldn't believe how long we waited. I watched our food be placed on a counter and the cook rang the bell that it was ready, it sat there for 5 minutes, the cook then placed 4 dishes on the counter and then rang the bell again and the waitress picked up those 4 dishes and brought them to a table that came in after us. She then went back to chatting with her co worker behind the bar for another few minutes then finally brought our food over. She told us to be careful because it was hot but it had already cooled down by the time we got it. The food turned out to be fine, we actually liked it even though it cooled down a bit. While waiting for our food, she never came by once to see how we were doing or even refill our water. We had drank all of our water before the food got to us so we were expecting a refill especially when the glasses are so small. Didn't get a refill until we were finished with our appetizers. But we left after appetizers and had dinner elsewhere because of the crappy service. Overall, the food was fine, but when I go out to eat, I pay for good service and I was thoroughly disappointed by the service I received here. I felt like I wasn't welcomed and that I was a burden to be a customer here. I understand if service can be bad when its busy, but there were only two other tables being served when we came in. Don't plan on coming back any time soon.

My BF really wanted to try this place, and we ordered bacon wrapped jalapenos, bangers and mash pasty, and "the miner" pasty. The jalapenos were pretty good, but I wasn't too crazy about the pasties. The bangers and mash one was pretty good, but I ended up mostly just eating the filling. The pasties in general were kind of bland, but we're willing to give this place another try.

Eh I love Cornish pasties and had high hopes. Unfortunately this didn't make the cut. The pasty was huge in size but the filling was so bland and didn't have the nice parsnips that usual Cornish pasties have. Also, there were way too many potatoes. The most disappointing though was the pastry - too much flour, not enough butter and slightly too thin. Back in the day, the pastry created a shell so miners could hold up the ridges and eat using them like a handle. This pastry falls right apart and taste like nothing but flour. I'll still be driving to Redmond to pick up pasties.

Cute place... Amazing food! We got a build your own Bloody Mary, mimosa pitcher, and split the apple pancakes, blueberry French toast and omelette Tuscana. Everything was fresh and the pancakes and French toast were perfectly moist. Definitely recommend!

The comfort food here hits the spot on a brisk day. I can vouch for the Bratwurst Pasty, Bacon Mac n Cheese, Brussels Sprouts, and a side of Green Chile! All were delicious! I enjoyed their refreshing signature cocktail and an amazing red ale called Rodenback Grand Cru, while chatting with the friendly bartenders. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. I will be back to try more pasty varieties and hopefully some new beer as the selection grows!

Ate here with some friends while visiting Seattle -- excellent carne adovada pasty and great deals on wine by the bottle! Order was miskeyed somewhere so delivery was delayed slightly, but service and food overall were good enough to make up for it.

Stumbled on this place while en route to the Black Bottle, and liked the look of the menu so much we ate here instead. It was quite good. Excellent Bourbon and ginger cocktails. Kale salad was good but not amazing. Buffalo chicken and southwest quinoa pasties were both really delicious, as were side of greenbeans (a special). I recommend it!

The food here is really, really good! We want to keep going, but the service is (as my dining partners for the last 3 times said) abysmally slow. Doesn't matter if the restaurant is empty or has a couple tables, the service is so slow we keep contemplating getting up and going across the street just so we can get our order taken. Then we think, oh that was just a fluke, let's try them again! And then it happens again....and again...I think we've given it enough tries, unfortunately.

Twisted Pasty opened a few months ago. I live in close vicinity of the eatery. I went there for a pasty (some weeks ago), but it was happy hour. So I indulged on their HH Menu. The cocktails were great. The zucchini tempura was good. The jalapeno cole slaw is super creamy, but really tasty. Good prices. Great service. And I keep saying that I'll go back for a patsy, but have not yet. Go to Twisted Patsy. Enjoy yourself.

Move over, pot pies--pasties are in town and they are amazing. My personal faves are the chicken curry and the carne adovado. The Twisted Pasty is one of Belltown's gems, so cherish it folks and eat here often.

I am completely in love with this place, I just came back for my second round of the grilled salmon after weeks of craving it. It only tastes better every time I come! I just can't get enough from this new place! Here's a hint: if you want to sample multiple dishes in one go, try out their happy hour which is fantastic! After 9pm most pasties are 50% off menu price! If you're looking for a unique trendy experience at an affordable price, then this place is a must visit!

i had high hope for this place.. but the pasty i had (corned beef) was quite disappointing.. you can get a much better pie at pie (in fremont or inside the armory in lower queen anne).. the corned beef pasty i had was full of veggies and a barely any meat.. additionally.. it was cut in half and unwieldy to eat so all the cabbage was spilling out.. lastly.. it was incredibly overpriced when you can get a much superior product and cheaper product a few blocks away..

I just want to say that I was just here today and my experience was pretty good up until I was eating my food. I ordered the layered enchilada minus the chicken, because I'm vegetarian, and when I got my food I thought it tasted pretty bomb (great) a couple of bites in until I noticed there was bacon in the sauce. It was not listed on the menu and when we asked the waitress if they could remake it without the bacon she said she would ask the cook and let us know. She seemed apologetic and very sorry for not mentioning the sauce had bacon. I didn't mind, I just wanted the same dish without bacon. She came back and said the cook would remake it but it would take a while, so I got it to go. When I got home and opened the box, I immediately noticed how much jalapeños there was on each layer, there was about 5 times as much jalapeños on the remake as there was on the original dish I ordered that had bacon. This is really disappointing because I got to eat a few bites of the first dish and it was very good and not that spicy at all. I couldn't even eat more than 2 bites of the dish I brought home because of how spicy it was and on top of that it was drowning in the watery sauce. I took a lot of the jalapeños out but the damage was done. The two dishes were night and day. The cheese and the egg and corn tortilla had no taste because of how much jalapeños were on there. I'm pretty bummed. I had a good time and thought I was bringing home a delicious meal but I can't help but feel the cook was not happy to remake this dish. I only asked to omit the bacon (which were very small pieces) but what I got was a watery jalapeño salad. I give an extra star because our waitress was pretty cool. The girl that came to clean up our table told my friend and I to have a nice day and life as we were leaving. Not sure what that meant but I am never going back there nor will I ever recommend it to anyone. Bummer, a potentially sweet dish turned sour because I asked them to remake it.

Have been here twice now and love it! We like to stick to the pasties, we've eaten the Philly Cheesesteak, The Miner, and breakfast skillet. We haven't stopped talking about them for the past week, this is definitely a new favorite brunch spot. Strongly suggest getting the jalapeño Bloody Mary as well :)

This place is a wonderful, refreshing addition to Belltown! Each of the pasties we had were delicious- the green chile is not to be missed. The Mac n Cheese was one of the highlights, as were the tasty brussels sprouts. I was super impressed by the owner, Christie, who picked and canned all the apples for the dessert pasty! Can't wait to return and try out some other pasties....and drink a few beers.

I was at first skeptical of this place, but after dining with them, I cannot stop! I have been back several times, I'm on about a once every 2 week location. Probably my favorite restaurant I've found so far in this city. I am always impressed with even the smallest things that the chef does perfectly. One day they had clam chowder as their soup of the day, and it was BY FAR the best chowder I've ever had, and I am a huge fan of chowder. And through all of the fantastic things they do, the best part is still their french fries, and what I can only imagine is home-made ketchup. I highly recommend this place for any evening out. Though if you're in a rush, make sure you call ahead, as the pasties can take several minutes to make. Also if you want a late night snack, they have half price pasties after 9, M-Th!

We bought a Groupon to try Twisted pasty while on vacation in Seattle.. On our second to last day while touring the space needle we decided to Redeem.. In some ways I'm glad we didn't use go till the end off the vacation.. Or honestly we would have been back every night for dinner.. As I would have loved to eat my way through the the entire menu!!! The food is magnificent.. The staff is great .. I would say it was one of the standout places for my wife and I in Seattle.

Don't waste your time here. The worst dining out experience ever. The service was awful, the restaurant was not full and the food was not served after 1hr from taking our order. Left without eating! When confronted the manager and owner about the terrible service and lack of food, not even the appetizer was served, they said, "oh, this has never happened before, we've never been this busy. " Get your act together or close the doors!

I read an Eater Seattle feature on Twisted Pasty on 2/26/14 which piqued my interest. Heading elsewhere, I paused at 4th and Vine to glance at their menu on 3/3/14, checked it out solo on 3/4/14, and ended up spontaneously having lunch with two others on 3/5/14. On 3/4/14 I stopped in solo for lunch. Warmly greeted and checked upon. Bright, airy décor and a larger dining area around the back corner. I can envision this place as a great happy hour - after work gathering place, duly noted from 4-6pm. An overview of their menu: Starters $5-10, Soups/Greens $4-12, Sides $3-7, Savory Plates $11-20, Pasties (what you're here for - ten kinds) $9-12, and Dessert $5-7. There's also a full bar, brews on tap, and a cocktail menu. I ordered the Taos Chile Verde ($10.50) where the pastry encases savory ground beef, cubes of potatoes, onion, and house roasted New Mexico green chile sauce. The side was some bright sauerkraut and olives. The pastry is delicious - not heavy, greasy or gummy. The contents reminded me of a reserved shepherd's pie, but what was the exclamation point was that green chile sauce. That rivals the sauce found at Santa Fe Café over in Phinney Ridge. Clearly I couldn't get that green chile sauce out of my mind and spontaneously ended coming back the next day on 3/5/14 and shared a bar table with a college friend and a colleague. Again, excellent and swift service start to finish. I noticed that there were more people dining midday. This time I had the Southwest Special ($13) - chicken enchilada with that delicious house roasted New Mexico green chile sauce, topped with an egg, served with house chips and sour cream. I gobbled up half and boxed the rest. I was so focused on lunch and the company present that I didn't even ask what they had, looked good visually. Great place to get a decent lunch in Belltown with fast, friendly, efficient service. I encourage you to check out Twisted Pasty when you're in the neighborhood.

I decided to try the Twisted Pasty for lunch on Christmas eve. Upon entering I immediately noticed the space was very bright and open, with several distinct seating areas suitable for a variety of group sizes and situations. We ended up settling down at a large wooden table by the fireplace near the bar which was fantastic. Our needs were attended to promptly, and though there was a nice beer selection, I settled on a cocktail and order of bacon wrapped jalapenos to start. Both were very good, and the perfect way to start off a pre-holiday indulgent meal. After considerable deliberation, for the main event, I settled on the "Breakfast Skillet" pasty. I'm certainly glad I did, as it was just what I needed: hearty, hot, and very flavorful(particularly so with the provided green chile sauce). It would appear the pasties are constructed with the sauce in mind, and so though it is served separately(should you be strange and not like delicious sauces) I think it was essential to how much I enjoyed the dish. Additionally, should you be a french fry person(and I am), the fries were simply wonderful. Some of the best I have had recently, fresh, crisp, and flavorful. In short, if you are looking for an enjoyable space in which to indulge in great cocktails and good beer, along with hearty and flavorful food this should be just the ticket.

Just had lunch at the Twisted Pasty. It was so delicious!! Had the Carne Adavada pasty as recommended by Veronica our server. It was amazing full of flavor. It comes with either fries or green salad. I had the green salad with vinaigrette, yum! Veronica also mixed us up a mean blood Mary. I highly recommend This place, new to the city.

This is a great pasty place. I've been to a few. The main difference is that the fillings are not filled liquid, It's not like breaking into a pot pie like other pasty places. However, this doesn't make the filling dry, it still has good moisture and tastes great. It's fairly affordable and their dessert is HUGE, but yummy. Enjoy!

Last night, the boyfriend and I decided to give this place a try. He is from an area where pasties are a popular food and so I was interested to see if these pasties would hit the spot. He had the SW Philly Cheese Steak and I had the Bangers and Mash with apple cider sour kraut. We were both very happy with our tasty food and the resulting full bellies. I also enjoyed the lighting and overall look of the place and felt like it is a good place to catch a hot meal on a cold day with a friend. Under less than ideal circumstances (somebody called in), our waitress had only been there for a week and had to make due on a Saturday night. There were some hiccups charging us out. After what seemed to have already been a rough day, she was unable to resolve the issues and we needed to get a move on so we could make it to The Black Keys concert on time. There wasn't really any other choice than to try to resolve the issue in the morning. When I called this morning and asked to speak with a manager, it turned out she answered the phone. When I went into the conversation, I had an idea of how I would like the issue resolved and I was hoping that I wouldn't have to make the hour and a half bus ride each way to get things sorted. Once I explained the situation to the manager, she immediately suggested the resolution I had hoped for without my even having to ask. I have worked in customer service for 15 years and I couldn't speak more highly of how easy she made the conversation. Top notch customer service. Next time we are downtown for date night, I can't wait to give this place another go. There are so many different pasties to taste!

Great little place to grab a bite to eat. My husband and I stopped here on our way home today for lunch. He got a Philly pasty and I had the green chili mac and cheese. The flavor was amazing and service was great. Also it's hard to find places in Belltown with immaculate bathrooms so high five for that! The only reason they got a 4 instead of a 5 was because I wish our waitress would have told me how spicy my meal was going to be. Other than that, amazing!

I went here for a Thursday afternoon/evening happy hour with a friend, and everything was fantastic! We sat up in the front of the bar by the giant windows so we could enjoy the sunlight and energy of passers-by. We ordered one of every food item on the happy hour menu, and it was all wonderful. The jalapeno poppers were simply delightful! They had a very good selection of beer and cocktails. I thought our service was fantastic - the bartender was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is very stylish and comfortable.

We LOVE Twisted Pasty!!! Great food, great prices, great service all in a convenient location. They have a diverse variety of pasties, savory & sweet. We recently were in Seattle and explored around the Seattle Center/Belltown area. We ran across The Twisted Pasty and checked it out. There is an established "regular" crowd as well as drop ins like us. We were cordially greeted and well served. The pies we had were well prepared and cooked. Our drinks were always tended to. Next time we visit Seattle again we will be sure to "drop in" again.

My new favorite place to eat AND drink in Belltown. Dare I say it, but I had the BEST Bloody Mary in Seattle here. The Happy Hour menu is yummy and the wine prices are my kinda prices! Their Mac and cheese us good. Come and give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

Great pasties, with novel flavors. I'd have prefered they not be served cut though... but that's just me. Also, they could do with more sauce/gravy.., rather than being a side thought / condiment. (I'm originally from Michigan, and have spent substantial time in the upper peninsula (UP), where pasties rein supreme, so I'm PICKY when it comes to pasties.) Their cocktails are also worth the trip. BUT (do I have your attention?) You MUST..... MUST!....try the Jameson Whiskey Brownie.

I'm from the Southwestern US, so I'm a pretty tough critic of any and all Mexican food. This is especially true in Seattle, when the true southwestern definition of Mexican food is nearly impossible to find. I definitely never thought I'd find it during Sunday brunch at a Pasty restaurant, but here it is. Portion sizes are huge, the meat is perfectly cooked, the house made chips are phenomenal, and the green chili rivals that of the best Mexican food places in the Southwest. The first time I took a bite of it, I nearly wept with joy. I finally - FINALLY found the Mexican food I've been looking for in my newly adopted hometown. If amazing Mexican food isn't enough of an incentive to grab brunch downtown, they also have pitchers of mimosas for a wonderful price. Can't go wrong with that. For what it's worth, the regular menu food and beer are also fantastic and make this place a worthy lunch or dinner spot. But the weekend brunch is really the hidden gem. Whether you're a PNW transplant looking for a taste of home, or a native wanting to try the best of Southwest Mexican food, I cannot recommend it enough.

We came here for a quick dinner after seeing that there was a Cornish pasty shop in the area. Overall, I'd say the experience was 2.5 stars since some aspects were pretty disappointing, but I'm glad we went so now we know! Service wasn't spectacular but was okay. I noticed they had two ciders on tap, and asked which one was better. The server literally said "I don't know, I've only worked here a week and I haven't tasted them". That was also her response when I asked about some of the pasties. I asked here if I could taste the two ciders, and she brought me two little half-flight glasses, which was cool. The pasties were okay. We wanted the curry chicken one, but they were out. (We went in early on a Saturday evening and they were out of a standard menu item? Wut?) We got the breakfast pasty instead, and it was okay but with the egg and fried potatoes weighing down the crust it didn't really hold up as much as a Cornish pasty should have. The pastry got a bit squishy and with the potatoes it felt overly carby. I felt as though with some of the fancier pasties that they were trying a bit too hard, and as a result the textures didn't do too well with the pastry. The fries, however, were by FAR the standout menu item. They were crispy and perfectly fried. The layout of the place is pretty nice, although there was a table of six behind us that had left and their plates weren't cleared so the table was covered in dirty plates and some flies for the duration of our meal. It's not like the restaurant was busy, so I'm kind of surprised and grossed out that it didn't get bussed. There's a decent beer and wine selection. We walked in but I didn't really see a parking lot, although there seemed to be a fair amount of street parking, even for a Saturday evening.

Food and drinks (prohibition cider and Bloody Mary bar) were extremely good. However the service was horrific because they were understaffed. It literally took 10-15 minutes to get waiter's attention for silverware for food (I ended up going up to the bar myself) and about the same amount of time for water glasses and the same amount of time for the check.

My first pasty experience came in the form of frozen pasties from PCC. I will always remember the deliciousness, and looked forward to my mom breaking out the toaster oven and making these on busy nights. I've been a fan of pasties ever since, and have enjoyed them in Ireland, Britain, the Farmers Market in Bremerton... you get the idea. Finding a place that specializes in pasties - right in Seattle - was pretty exciting. My excitement died out when the menu was full of too many choices. This is never a good sign, especially when I saw the Southwestern mashups. Even worse sign. We tried to order the Beef Wellington, but those were sold out. I settled on the Miner, my daughter got the Cordon Bleu, and my wife and mother in law got the corned beef. Every single one was dry. They come with sauces on the side, and I know that they're meant to be a bit dry by nature, but if you're fresh making a pasty and serving it hot, it can have some extra sauce inside without a problem. But these are far from fresh made, I'm guessing. I'd even go so far as to guess that they're frozen at some point, but maybe it's just the dough that's frozen or reheated. If it's not, there's no excuse for it being that... pliable (vs. flaky). So, don't go there. Unless you're drinking. Or have never had a pasty and don't have preconceived hopes. Or if you want some hella good mac and cheese from the kids' menu. Otherwise, skip it.

Finally got to try this place out. The food was better than I expected, but man it was a carb-loaded meal... The best thing was the bacon wrapped, cream cheese stuffed jalapeño. Yum! Our group ordered Taos Chile Verde, Greek Veggies, and Curry Chicken. My Chili Verde was pretty great, the bottom of the pasty was soggy, but that's understandable. The curry chicken was 80% rice... I was just so glad I wasn't eating all that rice. The sauces were all pretty great, flavorful and went very well with the pasties. I don't know what happened with the service, we asked for the fries and jalapeño to come out first since the pasties take 15 minutes to bake. We waited forever and got our food all at once. We wouldn't enjoyed the whole experience a lot more if we got some food when we were starved, as requested, and then we would've happily waited for the pasties without getting extremely hangry...

I'm surprised this place doesn't have five stars. Twisted Pasty KILLS it with their Moscow Mule and starters. The environment is welcoming and feels refreshing. Hip, but not crowded; airy and open. The staff are friendly and knowledgable. My waitress was easygoing and responsive to my cues. I tried the Zucchini Tempura from the starters menu and was taken aback by how delicious it was. The tempura is light and flaky and the veggies are soft and delicious. Definitely coming again.

I never knew what a pasty was until I stumbled upon Twisted. Since my first lunch visit, I can't stop getting their pasty's out of my mind & must kill the craving at least once a month.

This place is amazing and so cute! I love the pasty's here and how vegetarian-friendly they are! I highly recommend the quinoa pasty, but for meat lovers there are tons to choose from as well. I that drinks are so delicious, especially their house drinks. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. I love it here, and can't wait to go back!

Not sure that this place will be in business for long. We came here on a Sunday night and the place was virtually empty. Despite the lack of business, they were out of 3 of their pasties. I had the SW Philly Cheese Steak and my husband had the Taos Chile Verde. The meat in mine was very dry, and I wouldn't have been able to eat the entire thing without the little ramekin full of cheese sauce. The crust could have been thicker, more buttery, and flakier too. My husband's pasty was also saved by the green chile sauce. The fries that came with my pasty would have been good had they not been coated with black pepper. They also put a lot of black pepper in the ketchup, which was really unwelcome. Service was good, but I really don't think this place is worth a return visit.

Quick Read: delicious pasties (if that's your kind of thing), yummy mimosa pitchers, wonderful friendly family co-owns the place This is one of my favorite places to eat in Seattle. My husband and I used to live in Belltown and would walk here every weekend for brunch. Now we live in West Seattle, so we have to drive, but we still come for brunch (albeit less frequently). We like to get their pasties (you have to, it's their thing!) and a mimosa pitcher (they pour in an entire bottle of bubbly, so the ratio of orange juice and booze is perfect). They have a large selection of pasties, and I've honestly enjoyed every single one (we've probably tried all of them by now). Right now I'm on a Greek kick, but I also really like their Chicken Cordon Bleu pasty and have ordered it more than once. Their pasties come cut in half which is good because they're pretty big. They come with a side, and I've always had the salad just to try to balance out what is a pretty carb-y meal. I usually find side salads kind of a waste, but theirs are really good and come with a delicious dressing, so I always eat it. My husband and I like to come here and sit at the bar during football season to watch the Seahawks play. This isn't a sports bar, but they do have two TVs over the bar and will play the games and turn the sound up so we can listen. (This is perfect with that mimosa pitcher!) The co-owners are a wonderful family who will remember you if you're a regular. Cassie is often behind the bar when we are there, and she's awesome. We usually go here during the day, but I've been here for dinner before (switching out mimosas for wine or cocktails) and it's got a wonderful, cozy vibe (plus, it's busier). I highly recommend this place, even if pasties aren't your thing. They've got a nice selection of other things on their menu as well.

A pasty is a British pastry case with typically savory fillings. Twisted Pasty, though relatively new to the neighborhood, will become a neighborhood gem with it's quality, perfectly seasoned, decently priced food and drinks. I have been here three times, twice for dinner, once for brunch. With the exception of service sometimes being a little slow, their food continues to impress. From their delicious chicken tortilla soup and salad combo to their savory pasties, I can tell their chef cares a lot about the execution of his dishes.

Chicken curry pasty was excellent, freshly made. Comes with fries, soup or salad. Service was very friendly and accommodating.

This is our 2nd time here and we still love it. Service was extremely quick, bathrooms were very clean!!! ()dirty bathrooms are a deal breaker for me!) My boyfriend ordered the corned beef pasty, and coming from someone who has always hated corned beef (me) I even enjoyed it. I had the layered chicken enchiladas, my only complaint was it's made with dark meat, but it was still so good!!! We will continue to come back. We love this place and it's a great date night place. Prices aren't too shabby either.

Yum, yum and yum. Cool place, great food. Clearly a chef that is proud of his work. We started with the bacon wrapped jalapeños. They were cooked perfectly and so yummy! Next course was our side salads, made with care and very fresh. House dressing was good - has a mustardy undercurrent. Our pasties were excellent. Our waiter recommended the Taos based on the green chile sauce and wow. Living in AZ I've had a TON of green chile but this was something special. I'd put it on everything. Trust me. Get it. My husband had it as a sauce for his corned beef pasty and it was sooooo good.

2nd time here at Twisted Pasty, it seems they get better each time. Last time, I got Bangers and Mash pasty with the homemade fries and homemade ketchup/mustard. This time, the Guinness Corned Beef pasty with the homemade fries/ketchup/mustard. It was perfect. Well worth the drive to Belltown (North downtown).

What a gem! hidden away in the canals of belltown... We were a group of 6 (lot of seating options btw) and all of our dishes were perfect. Blueberry French toast was what I ordered, and my oh my.. Best. Breakfast. Ever... So good that I forgot to take a pic. My SO ordered a veggie curry pasty and that was awesome as well. Rest of our group ordered pastys as well, and they were all top notch.

We ordered takeout from the Twisted Pasty simply because it's really close. I thought it would be mediocre at best considering there menu is fairly small, and every pasty contained one ingredient I either had never tried or heard of before, or just typically don't like. However, I was pleasantly surprised and can't wait to have it again! Also notable: They have a house made ketchup that is delish! We Tried: Burger with cheddar and bacon - simple and delicious (and big) with their house made ketchup as the only needed condiment. Definitely will reorder! Carne Adovada - comes with a mildly spicy, oily red sauce, and apparently sour cream that I'm now realizing I didn't receive, but I didn't miss it. The sauce alone was the perfect balance to the pasty pastry shell. Definitely will reorder! Taos Chile Verde - very tasty and hearty with the addition of potato. Perhaps a tiny bit bland by itself, but comes with a spicy green chile sauce that had bits of bacon in it. This was my least favorite, but it was still pretty good and I would probably steal a bite from anyone else in the house that orders it :)

I was really rooting for this place. I love how it's a family business with its own unique type of food. The atmosphere is nice and the concept inside the restaurant seems inviting. High ceilings open spaces big communal tables. The problem is the service is horrible. The servers are inattentive and the owner seems aloof. It took more than an hour for food to arrive at our table.
