New favorite bar and Happy Hour spot in Seattle! I work just down the street in Lower Queen Anne, and have been meaning to come here for months. Stopped in after dinner last Friday night and we weren't disappointed! Had their special "jug juice" of the evening, and I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a cocktail that had such thought put into it! After stopping in this afternoon for a work Happy Hour, I can also vouch for how amazing Triumph Bar's food is! Their HH menu is amazing and we had a lot of it -- highlights were the fried pickles, pork belly mac & cheese and the cheese board. I already know I'll be back regularly :)

This is a great place to go after a long day at work or in advance of a show/event. The food is top notch, especially the the steaks and Lamb dishes. I've had several dishes from their specials board as well and have yet to be disappointed. The bar service is great and especially fast when Jon is working the rail. If you are a bourbon fan be sure to ask their selection as it is very well priced for the area.

Had a great dinner at Triumph last night. Food and service were great. We had just run a 5K so were more in the mood for beer than wine -- the beer selection is minimal but selectively chosen. My fiance and I split the burger topped with foie gras and the saffron risotto. The risotto was perfect. The burger was great, although we asked for it medium rare and it was at least medium. This place has a great, neighborhood vibe. I'll definitely be back for wine next time!

Went there on a Sunday evening after strolling through the Space Needle area. It was nice to find a local place with a local vibe in that area that wasn't a chain. It was, as my son would say, chill. We had the salmon pastrami to start which was unique and really good. A little salty but I suppose that's the nature of anything cured that way. I had the spring vegetable risotto which was nice and creamy with plenty of veggies. My son had the crab Max and cheese which he enjoyed. It was later on a Sunday evening so hard for us to tell what it would be like during more normal dinner hours or happy hour, but it was a relaxing meal after a long day of wandering around Seattle. We didn't sit outside but the looked really pleasant. I really liked to way that their windows opened almost all the way across the wall which really opened up the restaurant. We'd go back if we are around that neighborhood or lived there but probably wouldn't go to that neighborhood just for the restaurant.

If you find yourself near the Seattle Center and need a happy hour break, you could do worse than Triumph Bar. It's a nice-looking, upscale place with a slightly spendy happy hour menu and pretty tasty food specials. I went right for the $6 Casoni spritz, which looks and tastes similar to an Aperol spritz (my current summer drink). The "Jug Juice" is a $5 rotating cocktail special, or you can class it up and go with the Gold Rush bourbon cocktail for $7. I didn't mind the minimal drink specials, but if you like lots of options on your happy hour menu, this may not be the best place for you. We shared a few small plates from the happy hour food menu for dinner. The salumi of the day was an unimpressive ham/bologna tasting thing, though the portion was fairly large for $5 -- certainly more than we wanted of it. The cheese selection included a goat cheese and came with a little pot of honey and almonds on the side, which we enjoyed. The veal meatballs were substantial, tasty, and probably the best value of the small plates we tried. The crispy potatoes with truffle aioli were also tasty. It looks like the menu rotates seasonally, so there are some new items on there for summer that would be worth going back to try, like beef tongue tacos. Service was OK, not exceptional. Our drinks came out fairly quickly and our food all came out together, and then we basically didn't see our server much after that. We were trying to catch his eye to get in a final round before happy hour ended at 6pm, and had to work fairly hard to get him over to our table. 3.5 stars overall -- happy hour drinks are a good price, but those small plates add up quickly and you still haven't really had a full dinner. I'd bring tourists here after a day of trooping around the Seattle Center, but probably wouldn't come here on my own regularly.

Triumph Bar has a friendly staff, good bartender, unique cocktails and great proximity to Key Arena, earning it one more star. Other than that, its meh. The food wasn't great - the burger was on the rare side of rare and the noodles for the pork belly mac n cheese were quite al dente. In fact, that seems to be a trend - things leaning towards the raw side. My cocktail, the Gran Paradiso, was quite good and also featured a raw egg to get a rather nice foamy texture. It had some liquor I'd never had before in it and when I asked the bartender about Bonal, he gave me a small tasting. That was pretty cool - I enjoy learning about the food and drinks I'm tasting. It was crowded the night my wife and I were there, but there was a concert and many of the patrons were on their way to the same concert. I think that Triumph Bar wins and location, location, location and needs to up their food game a bunch.

This place is good... i deliberated between 3 and 4 stars but I think its a 4; especially as the place starts to pick up some steam. I went here for dinner for the first time last night and it was very good. The good was good, the staff was nice, and everything was fine. I wasn't blown away but i think its possibly because the place was pretty empty and very quite. This will probably change as the food was good, the prices were not crazy, and the staff was quality. ill be back

I was hungry for warm food after spending 200+ at the Metropolitan Market on snacks and such (damn that market for being so cool) so I dropped off all my stuff in my hotel room and wandered out alone to find this mythical pork belly mac and cheese. The place was buzzing and I was greeted promptly and asked if I wanted to sit at the bar or snag a table and I went for the table. This place reminds me of a lot of typical places these days... craft cocktails and cute plays on classic comfort foods with other trendy items thrown in. Staff was attentive without being overbearing and while I always feel semi awkward when I go out alone, that was all in my head. No one in any way made me feel unwelcomed or out of place, so that was great. I got their cocktail with vodka and scotch (strange combo but it works) and the pork belly mac and cheese of course. The cocktail actually paired really well ...cut the richness of the mac and cheese perfectly and I left feeling satisfied. Totally worth a second round next time I am in Seattle.

Had a great dinner experience. First, location is awesome, as it is right next to IMAX theater/ Key arena. Get there early for an event, and walk down to have a relaxing dinner before going to an eventz The owner is very friendly and knows what he is doing. We enjoyed delicious grilled hanger steak and the triumph burger. The meat were cooked just right with lots of flavor. The interior/atmosphere of the triumph bar is chic and modern, mostly metal and dark, but has pop of color! This will be a good spot for both girls night out and a dinner date! Price range was also reasonable and they also have a good happy hour for both food and drinks. I was glad to discover the triumph! Check it out!

It's ok. Probably won't come back. Rather go to Taylor next door or Dicks around the corner. A bit pretentious for me.

I had such high hopes for Triumph bar, but I was sadly underwhelmed at my first visit. A-Ok is the perfect rating. Drinks were great- probably the best part. The ambiance was very cool. I enjoyed the staff as well. We showed up on a Friday night at about 9pm for 6 people and the place was pretty empty (also side note, if you do want to make reservations they only accept for groups of 6 or larger). The food ordered was Crab Mac and Cheese- it was tasty, very rich, lots of truffle, but still didn't seem to blow me away. The burger is served alone with a fancy sliced pickle- no other sides. We shared this and when we cut it in half it was so bloody I was pretty turned off (they also do not ask how you would like it prepared, so I guess I could have said how I wanted it). I still ate it, it wasn't inedible but it was a little scary looking, if I were to order I would ask to have it cooked a bit more. A friend also ordered the Beet Salad, which looked good but not worth the price tag. I had such high hopes when I read all the reviews, I think I will go back to give it one more chance. But I am in no rush to get back.

Triumph's happy hour is what I consider the stereotypical foodie's dream menu: pork belly mac & cheese, oysters on the half shell, beef tongue tacos, foie gras ice cream (yes you read that right!). I have tried everything on the hh menu and everything was so tasty! Oysters are a must to order and I like that the portions of all the hh items are perfect for sharing. The only thing I'm not too crazy on that menu is the foie gras ice cream. I would have preferred that the foie was blended and not in chunks in the ice cream, which gave it a weird texture. Aside from the hh menu, I have sampled the scallop crudo. I love that its paired with grapefruit and mint, it gives it a nice fresh taste. I am eyeing the dried aged porterhouse for two the next time I come with my bf, they had me at foie gras butter! Triumph is also next door to the Key Arena, which makes it the perfect spot for a pre-show dinner.

Great pre-function before the Australian Pink Floyd show. Great service, good food. Portions were a little small for my hubs with a big appetite, but we ordered another small plate which came quickly. Great find!

After visiting the gardens this afternoon, we stopped in for a late lunch and found ourselves immersed in an array of lovely small plates during Happy Hour. The jug punch and the champagne were excellent, cheese was very good, the mac and the potatoes were on point, but my goodness the salmon pastrami sliders were divine. I ended up ordering a second plate straight away and almost refused to share! We finished our meal with their salted caramel bread pudding, which absolutely melted into my mouth. Jon, our server, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the restaurant, yet walking on that fine line of making sure to be excited without being pushy. This truly was one of the best dining experiences I have had in Seattle the several times I have been here. Try this place out - you will absolutely be glad you did.

Food is really excellent, the crab mac and cheese was really rich and complex, it was a mix of all the available cheeses which when we first heard it seemed kind of odd. The hanger steak was tender and cooked a nice medium rare. The potatoes were in a small cast iron pan crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The only reason to not put this at 5 stars might be the waitstaff, whom though attentive, seemed a bit aloof.

Firstly, I've only been to Triumph Bar for happy hour -- I've yet to eat a meal there, but have sampled some of the HH food and drink options. The bar is modern but cozy, with a noise level that is quiet enough for the bar to feel calm, without being feeling too quiet to have a conversation with your party. All of the small plates I've tried at happy hour have been delicious, with portions large enough to share. The "jug juice" has been different each time I've visited, but wonderful (and freaking strong) each time. Best of all? They validate parking which makes it a great pre- or post-event stop for me when in the area.

Would you eat a bloody burger? Then you came to the right place. Please see attached pics. Seriously would you have eaten this? Background: So last night we went to Triumph Bar--a highly recommended on Yelp restaurant near where we were seeing a Damien Rice concert in Seattle . I was a little unhappy we were put at the bar on wobbly bar stools and not offered the open table since I have back issues. Cocktails were slow coming even sitting at the bar. We ordered food. Food came late with only one entree-we ordered two. After asking about 10 min later, they said "30 sec" and then sent out this burger in the pictures 10 min before we needed to leave. So would you have eaten this $14 burger and pickle? Honestly we were in a hurry and ravenous, so we did, but had rumbly tummies later. I am ALL for super rare steaks and I like medium rare burgers but is this a thing in restaurants because I wonder about food safety when the burger is still bleeding... They never asked what temp we wanted burger and honestly I cannot believe it is legal to serve a burger that bleeds as over the bun and plate. Gooey inside.... As for that pork belly Mac and cheese? Um no macaroni or cheese in sight. It was a dry, crispy, pork belly that tasted like jerkey rather than melt in your mouth pork belly goodness as it should be. The sauce was a wasteland of bland cream and Essence of Velvetta. The macaroni was equally bland pasta shells which I would be surprised came out of a box. $14 for this unappetizing dish? No. That bloody unsafe in my opinion burger and a unremarkable pickle? Also $14. No. The only thing satisfactory was my ale and my husband cocktail. Ok. Over-priced, but nothing special. Maybe this was an off night, but seeing other reviews of rare burgers and chefs refiring burgers and re-serving them to wrong person??? Wtf? Sadly we didn't have time to take this to the manager because we had a concert to catch.

I ordered the pork belly mac & cheese, the beef tongue tacos and the lasagna. I almost ordered the bread pudding, but I was just too full from all the other stuff I ordered. Mac & cheese was awesome! The pork belly was nicely seasoned and the macaroni was nicely cooked. The beef tongue tacos were delicious as well. The the only thing I would have wanted was some sort of spicy sauce. I like spice in my tacos =) Lastly the lasagna. Of the 3 that I ordered, it was my least favorite, but tasty nonetheless. It does take a little longer to cook so they warn you when you order that it could take up to 30 minutes. I dont think mine took that long though. Overall I loved everything about this place and I will definitely go back.

Cool bar- fun location! Came with a friend for happy hour before a concert at the key arena. We both had the jug juice- a fun mix of juices and liquors- bitter and strong! We loved it. We also shared the cheese plate, castelvrano olives, and crispy potatoes. Great happy hour drinks, food, and prices!

Man I hate to give this place a bad review but I feel it's warranted in this case. I live in the lower QA neighborhood and consider this a go-to spot. It has always been reliably good in the past and I am a huge fan of their happy hour, food and all around vibe. THAT SAID the service we received on our last visit was pretty terrible. My main complaint was the absolute lack of attentiveness by our server/bartender. He was working alone, as is often the case at this intimate space, but seemed completely PUT OUT by the presence of my guests and I (This was a mellow Sunday night mind you) All of his attention was placed on whether or not we would be ordering another drink and not on whatever we might've needed while we were dining--we had to ASK HIM for absolutely EVERYTHING!! Maybe he was having an off night, I understand it happens, but this particular experience was bad. I will not be returning. Side note: food was solid and oysters were great but I can't recommend-- there are other great places *right* around the corner

A great pre show Happy Hour spot in Lower Queen Anne! $5 rotating cocktails and many food specials. There is a great selection of food available on happy hour. The Veal Meatballs are a treat that you can't miss. The Pork Belly Mac and Cheese is rich and savory but has a very grown up cheese profile. The Fried Pickles were spear cut, which provided a low ratio of coating to pickle and should be avoided. Expect to order 5+ plates per couple for a full meal. The $5 Jug Juice was good but it was well worth the $2 upgrade to the Gold Rush cocktail. The decor is phone it in modern, but the good service and friendly bartenders more than make up for it. There is real value here for happy hour, but you might be feeling a little lean in the wallet if you pay full price.

Cute wine bar in lower Queen Anne with great happy hour specials for both food and drink. Great place to grab a bite/drink before heading to an IMAX movie at the Pacific Science Center. We ended up sharing I think 5 different things off the happy hour menu - a cheese plate, charcuterie of the day, almonds, veal meatballs and salmon sliders. Even with 4 drinks (happy hour red, happy hour cocktail) I think our total came out to $75 with tip. Kind of unheard of. I wasn't a huge fan of the salmon sliders (mostly bread, tiny bit of salmon), but otherwise everything was quite tasty. I'd definitely order the veal meatballs again, and I think I'd like to try the mac-n-cheese. There were a lot of nice looking entrees too - so although this is classified as a "wine bar" I'd say it's more a wine-themed restaurant/café.

While the location is ideal for a pre-show snack & drink, our experience was uneven. We had the peaches and burrata small plate, which was excellent, but not balanced as we had to ask for extra crostini. We also ordered a fish tacos special off the board, and were disappointed. They were a weird combination of overly fishy and lacking in flavor. What really threw me off was the service. When nearly half the tables are empty, you shouldn't be made to feel like you are an inconvenience to your waitstaff. I hope Seattle isn't turning into a city where rudeness and pretension are acceptable from servers.

I should play the lottery! What an amazing fine. Yelp has this as a bar, but it's actually a restaurant with a bar. It was Sunday, late ...only a few patrons. But, hold on... My normal "I can't make a decision" worked out well here. I ordered nothing, just told the wait staff to bring me spirit and food. Cocktail: el Cartel. An amazing drink. Think Margarita on steriods. Starters: the meat plate and the 7 cheese plate. The la Tur cheese was the best cheese I've ever had. Think "barn-yard." I know, weird. Trust me here! First Course: You can't do that to Salmon! "Pastrami Salmon" you ask??? Yes, it works. Main Course: Ahi Tuna, but not what you're thinking. I've never had Ahi like this. Dessert: Of course ...Bread Pudding. Basic, but great. So... a gem of a eatery. We spent +$100/ea, but worth every penny. (Yes, we gave a bottle of vino) Comments: The wifey had the Hanger steak. The Basil Pesto was too powerful in flavor in my opinion. Maybe a Minutina Pesto would be more on target. (I don't understand the restaurant name ...I personally would change the name to a trendier name.) OK. Day #2: We once again came here for dinner. A awesome White Anchovie Crustini, Lamb Shoulder on Spicy White Beans, and a Ricotta Souffle. The wife enjoyed the Heirloom Tomato Salad, and a beautiful beef burger w/Foie Gras. Again, an amazing dinner. I will return and highly recommend.

Triumph Bar serves incredible food that is unique and delicious. Although parking was difficult to find, the restaurant is located in a great spot and has a view of Space Needle. I came here through word of mouth and to support a great chef in Jonathan Doar. I ordered the pork belly mac and cheese, fried pickles, oysters on the half shell, veal meatballs, crispy potatoes, prosciutto and melon, and bread pudding. Everything was perfect and also looked extremely appetizing. My favorites were the meatball and bread pudding so definitely get those!

Fairly solid place to grab dinner and drinks, although a bit pricey for what you get. As you would expect from a gastropub, some of the food is a bit on the 'heavy' side, which isn't a problem since the menu is more focused on small plates. We had the burger (with fois gras) and it was quite good - a bit overcooked for medium rare, but nonetheless enjoyable since it was smothered in cheese and caramelized onions. The risotto we ordered was also tasty. Service was totally fine and the drinks were good. I knocked off a star because the food is overpriced for the creativity level and portion sizes, otherwise this is a good spot.

Met a friend here on a whim after doing some grocery shopping. It was close, convenient and had good ratings. Why not? The space itself is pretty big. The décor is so lovely and eye-catching. I couldn't stop looking around. It's simple yet elegant with colors that pop! We ordered the baby kale salad to start. The trout was smoked very well and was full of flavor. Next up was the fried green tomatoes. Nothing super outstanding, but good nonetheless. To finish off the meal, we ordered the salmon pastrami. IMO, this was the winning dish of the night. Imagine a piece of salmon sashimi crusted with pastrami spices but having the flavor and texture of meat. I was pretty happy it was presented as a deconstructed sandwich. I didn't have to eat the bread! This was the first time I've ever had salmon pastrami and absolutely loved it! I wish they just had a full plate of this. I'd have ordered it twice! The crust was the perfect mix of pepper and crunch without being overbearing. Probably my favorite item on the menu! The servings are small, especially if you're sharing but don't let that stop you. Each dish is carefully crafted and delicious. If you're looking for something other than the usual, then do some damage on your credit card here. The service was attentive. We didn't have any dessert and they don't have tea. We were really happy with our eats and will probably be back.

I decided to beat Seattle traffic for a Yelp event nearby and found myself with about 2 hours in Lower Queen Anne with nothing to do. Decided to use my handy-dandy Yelp App and found myself here for a quick Happy Hour. Atmosphere: Gastropub, which to me is cool. I got a spot by the window and had a nice view of a building (with the Space Needle above it). Food: I ordered the PBJ (Pork Belly and Jam) sandwich, a deep fried oyster and the Pork Belly Mac and Cheese (with Mushrooms). The PBJ was excellent, although I found myself trimming half the fat down. I know, I know, how dare I. Well I did, and it was still tasty. The deep fried oyster was...okay. Kind of the same as anywhere else, but presented very pretty. Now the Pork Belly Mac and Cheese was definitely the masterpiece that I'm very, very glad I saved for last. Just awesome. Nice presentation, pork belly cooked nicely, cheese rich but perfect pair with the noodles they used. Noodles held the cheese, and cooked perfectly. Seriously, probably one of the best Mac and Cheeses I've had. Oh and it all came very quickly. So that's always a plus. Drinks: I ordered their A&W, which is some root beer, Bourbon drink. I'm still new to this whole Bourbon craze thing, so it was a bit strong for me. But I'm sure for a Bourbon connoisseur they probably would have enjoyed it more than me (or had more criticisms). Service: Very, Very impressed for a bar. I think there were 2 bartenders working and a pretty full atmosphere. Yet, they came by to check on me constantly. Very friendly throughout my entire visit. AND even came by multiple times to refill my water even though they sat me down with a water carafe. Service at a bar that refills your water glass when they left with a bottle so you could refill it yourself? WHO DOES THAT?!? Sadly, I do not live close to the area. But I will definitely visit next time I'm back in the area, and highly recommend giving this place a try for anyone curious.

The burger is so diggity dang good that I can't try anything else because I crave it so. It's juicy, just the right thickness, not too big and not too small. I'm pretty sure they get their ground beef from a magical pot of gold. The bun is a perfect fit every time. Cinderella would tell you that herself. This burger is a masterful bit of goodness. Everything here is amazing. The chef is tops. The tops you don't find often. The happy hour is pretty awesome. Have tried a number of the appetizers and even the basic popcorn isn't basic. Just the perfect blend of salt and truffle oil. The bartender is a masterful mixologist. He makes the best martini's in town. The old fashioned is a tasty concoction as well. We tried their seasonal desert last time we were there... the acorn squash with pumpkin something or other... wowzer I say. The only nock I have about this place is that I wish they had more comfortable seating so I could stay longer. I don't give a five star too often, but I just have to for this place. A must try

I went there for drinks before a screening at SIFF. The happy hour was AWESOME and the service was fantastic. There were a lot of us and it was kind of a mess, but they handled it well. I got the happy hour special, "The Gold Rush." It was yummy.

A decent place to get cocktails and appetizers. We tried this place out on Sunday evening before a SIFF film. The HH salad was delicious and so was the cheese place. I would pass on the beef tongue tacos, no flavor and the meat was very dry. The waitstaff is prompt and attentive.

After being patrons for over a year, I am just getting around to writing this review. My husband and I, and our two girls come down here at least 2x a month, so this review is based on over 2 dozen experiences. Staff/Service: These guys are top notch, always accommodating, never snooty and have passion for what they put on the table. We almost always are able to walk in and get seated, and usually at our favorite table. They know us now :) Ambiance: it is usually buzzing with crowds on their way to an event, or from nearby neighborhoods. But it's nice to go on a quieter night too and have more of a relaxing vibe. They play hip music, and the lighting is always low and sophisticated Food: the food is always amazing, and they change up the menu based on the season. Yes the burger is medium rare... so be knowledgeable and just ask if you need it done another way! Our favorites are 1: Scallop Crudo--fresh, light, and flavorful. 2. Onion Bisque--simple and delicious 3. Veal meatballs 4. Burger: rich, juicy and delicious 5. Local vegetable dishes like peaches/burrata, asparagus 6. Anything pared with they amazing mac n cheese Drinks: Great wine selection and interesting fresh cocktails. They also have housemade root beer! This will continue to be our favorite restaurant, surpassing other higher end restaurants in the Queen Anne and Lower Queen Anne area. Keep up the great work guys! JR

MMMM. A huge list of cheeses that I can't pronounce, always very exciting to me :D They categorize the cheeses by sheep, goat and cow which is pretty cool. We ordered a big platter and a few things off the menu. I am always iffy on lamb. I've had it at least 20 times and liked it maybe 3 or 4 of those 20. And let me just say... this place has really good lamb. It's served with these massive white beans and a gravy that is just... to die for. In all my years of trying to make a gravy or demi-glaze with that kind of flavor I have failed miserably because Triumph has the best. For being called Triumph "Bar," don't expect a regular bar feel or normal bar food/pricing. I've seen a few reviews upset over the final bill. But what you have to understand...the quality, creativity, and great local ingredients surpasses that of a "bar." This is a nice, trendy, and high quality restaurant. And worth every penny.

There's just something lacking here. Great ambiance and location, but service is sloppy and awkward. We were put at a table at the back, that was clearly an afterthought to create more seating and was right in front of the servers hub, so constantly being bumped and pushed as they frantically run around. The food is small portions and not bad at all, but still just lacking something. Food also came out randomly and was just thrown and pushed onto our table with no order or reason, delivered to all the wrong people. I think if they finesse the menu and train their staff, Triumph Bar could be a great spot.

This review is more of an "incomplete" than it is a final review; simply put, I'm holding out hope that the place is better than I think it is. Met a friend for happy hour on a Friday afternoon a little after 3 - just a little while after they opened. While the inside was empty, it still took a good couple of minutes for a server to approach us. They only had one outside table set up in the front and it was taken; the other was off to the side and not really in a good spot. Eventually, the server did move us to the other table when it came open - which is a plus - but, if you're going to offer seating outside, having only two two-tops outside doesn't seem quite right. (In their defense, the server said they didn't have all the patio furniture out - and it was a very slow day - but, yeah.) We ordered from the happy hour -- a glass of wine each, and a cheese plate to share. The wine was decent (I had the house white), but the cheese plate was a little meh. It came with candied almonds, almost as if they were an almond brittle - but the two pieces of cheese looked very lonely on the plate. While I realize that, yes, it's happy hour - I don't think putting an extra piece of cheese or two on the plate would have busted their budget. Atmosphere was decent - they're going for hip and chic, and succeed. Server was decent - most definitely competent at his job, but he did seem a little bit cold, and I'm not quite sure how to interpret that. I'll gladly try them again - I just hope they're better than I think they are at this point. I found them agreeable this visit; next visit, I want them to wow me.

My friends and I went to check out the Space Needle, but our time to go up wasn't until 5pm, so we had a couple hours to kill before then. We hadn't had lunch so we decided to find a place nearby. We found the Triumph Bar on Yelp and decided to try it out. We love gastropubs and found a couple items we might like, so we thought it would be cool to check it out. It's about a 10 minute walk from the Space Needle to the restaurant, but it was a nice walk through the Seattle Center. We arrived right when they open at 3pm, and it was nice because that's when their happy hour starts. We had a couple things that caught our eye on the menu, but they have a great happy hour menu! We actually found more items we wanted to try off the HH menu and opted for that so we could try more dishes. We started off with the prosciutto and melon. Comes with two slices of cantaloupe and some prosciutto on top. The cantaloupe was sweet and the prosciutto was delicious and not too salty, complementing each other well. We tried the PB & J - piece of brioche with strawberry jam topped with two pieces of crispy pork belly. Ridiculously delicious! I'm a sucker for anything involving truffle so we got the crispy potatoes with truffle aioli. The potatoes were perfectly crispy and TRUFFLE aioli... enough said. Fried pickles were okay, not my favorite dish, but just the perfect amount of batter for the pickle. More of a tempura like coating. Our last couple dishes were the pork belly mac and cheese and of course had to get my oysters. The pork belly mac and cheese was good, but a little too rich for me, but the pork belly was crispy just the way I like it and the taste of truffle didn't hurt either. The HH menu offers 3 oysters for $5, so we got 1/2 dozen for $10, compared to the $16 for a 1/2 dozen of oysters on the regular menu. Such a great deal! The oysters were really fresh and the champagne mignonette that comes with it makes each bite a little tangy goodness, helps those who don't really like that oyster taste. Even though we were stuffed, we ended the meal with bread pudding and had to try the foie gras ice cream since California has now banned foie gras. The foie gras was interesting, not my cup of tea, but the bite of bread pudding I tried from my friend was so good! Moist and just the right amount of sweetness. Triumph Bar was such a great find! Loved the decor, the staff was awesome, food was amazing.....and the beer didn't hurt either. Definitely need more places like this in LA!

Walked in without needing a reservation, seated right away. Very fortunate for the meal we had! Our waiter, Brandon, was very helpful and knowledgeable for the small, but effective menu. Started with some cheeses and Prosciutto. The cheeses came with bread and delicious honey...sans honey dipper, because as the chef/owner explained, everyone steals these novelty items. Next we had the grilled asparagus, dungeness crab mac and cheese, and ahi tuna. Everything exploding with flavor. Dessert...ahh dessert...the portions are not over the top, so there was still some room left. There were three desserts on the menu...we had all three. Ricotta cheese cake with hazelnuts and raspberries (good). The restaurant follows Italian tastes, but it's not an Italian restaurant, so I was finding some gelato...wish granted! Great vanilla gelato with espresso poured on top, by you! Delicious!!! But, not the best item on the dessert menu...BREAD PUDDING!!! Sea Salt caramel bread pudding with panna cotta gelato. I am not a fan of bread pudding, but this was freaking delicious!!! The bartender, Ben, has created several specialty cocktails that are equally delicious. Come hungry and thirsty. This place should be packed every night, I will be back!!!

This is a newer business in this neighborhood. They hooked us at oysters, cheese and wine! My husband and I found this place on yelp and chose it due to reviews and location. (We were going to a play at the rep) When we arrived we were seated by the owner who was a young man and was very friendly and professional. He quickly looked at the clock and said, "don't worry we will get you in for Happy Hour" even though we were cutting it really close. I didn't feel pressured to order right away either, which was very nice. We ended up getting oysters, cheese and meat and a glass of wine each (all on happy hour) portions were a good size for happy hour and the presentation was great! The food was perfect! We planned on only staying for a drink and ended up ordering the food and another bottle of wine and skipped the play! The only reason why this isn't a 5 star is because or waiter was little off, he said awkward things and seemed confused a lot. He was a little slow, not in speed of service but it seemed like we were confusing him a lot. He also did not want to chat at all. He wasn't horrible, in fact I would say he was OK. The awkwardness just killed me though. We will definitely come back and recommend to friends!

Had a blast at this place! It was a lively happy hour and enjoyed the date night with my boyfriend. I had the day's 'jug juice' and ordered some munchies from the special happy hour menu: castelvetrano olives, crispy potatoes, arugula salad with fresh blue cheese, and bread pudding. The olives were a lovely bright green and delicious (not too salty flavour). It's hard to go wrong with potatoes; they were roasted and seasoned just right. A light vinaigrette rounded out the crisp arugula and blue cheese. I have to rave a bit about Triumph's bread pudding; it was delicious! The bread was soaked just enough in egg custard and cooked perfectly. I'm not a huge fan of caramel, but when you taste fresh from scratch caramel sauce, it's a completely different story: YUM! I plan to make Triumph a regular happy hour spot.

Spontaneously went here I believe on a Sunday for a late night HH. Picked the place based off of yelp. Wasn't looking for anything in particular aside from good. It was around 10-10:30 with only 2 other people in the bar. Lighting is very dim. Location is nice with a view of the Space Needle. Bar tender was attentive but we were the only other group. Ordered a pork belly PB&J which was yummy! The lady got the salmon pastrami which was yummy as well. Ordered one of their specialty drinks which had a different name but was similar to a whiskey sour. It had good flavor. Not too sour not too strong but good flavor of the liquor they used! Will have to come back to try the mac and cheese!!

We had veal meatballs, prociutto panini, and lasagna. I love the veal meatballs the best. The panini had a great flavor too, but it was really not enough meat... Lasagna is good, but nothing special.

Had an amazing dinner again tonight. If you have not been here then you are missing out on great food, drinks, and service. Happy hour twice a day and a really good dinner menu. We went here the first time shortly after moving to the city and they have always treated us great. Put it on your rotation. Try the paninos, pears and burrata, the pork belly mac and cheese, or the beef tongue tacos (my absolute favorite food item). You will not be disappointed. For drinks they have a really good wine selecton, a rotating "jug juice" special (it is always good), and an outstanding gin and tonic. We have never had a bad drink here. We love this place. Go often and try everything. They will take great care of you.

Amazing. This meal was truly amazing. My husband and I ventured here before a Seattle Rep show per the theater's email advertisement. I was hesitant at first, you know, not wanting to be blatantly directed by marketing, so we thought we would head over, check it out and continue on if it didn't seem up to par with what we were looking for. Both of us were SO glad we ate here. I tried oysters for the first time here and fell in love. All fresh and creamy--our waiter was super knowledgable on the flavors of the different varieties and they aren't even an oyster bar! I had a tequila based house cocktail (can't recall what else was in it but I know it was great). We also got some salads to share and the tuna steak. Everything was delicious. As locals, it's definitely a place we will bring out-of-towners in confidence and can't wait to be returning to on our date nights!

This was a fun and friendly little spot to grab a drink and a snack before the roller derby at Key Arena. It's nice that this area is getting a little more swank as the food n' drink options in lower Queen Anne are a little...hmm...undesirable for me. Attentive bartenders and one of the sparkliest meat cutters I've ever seen.

I don't often give five stars, however this place is perfect . It's a hidden gem... Like taking a wrong turn in Rome and discovering a small cafe that has a brilliant wine selection, bartenders who offer or create anything you want. Once you're seated, knowledgable servers offer a smattering of small plates and fresh foods of the moment from Chef Jonathan. Doar. Happy Hours are an amazing value. If you want a buzz, order the "jug" juice. Free. 1 hour parking at Expo. This is Italy on lower Queen Anne.

Very solid restaurant. QUALITY is the word that comes to mind-whether it's the service, vino, food, or craft cocktails, the team here seems to know what they're doing. Happy hr is great but I'd recommend taking a seat during normal business hours, grabbing a bottle of wine, and feasting on all sorts of fresh, Italian based plates. Get some.

We just stopped in for a couple beers. I did have dessert though. Bread pudding. It was delightful. We will be back to test out some of the dinner items. The atmosphere has a fun and unpretentious vibe.

Pork Belly Mac was delicious. The salty and flavorful pork went wonderfully with 12 cheeses. Finished it off with the bread pudding which was sweet caramely goodness.

We must have come on an off night because our experience was far from 5 stars. Pros: The general ambiance was good. The happy hour food was good and well priced. Server was nice. The proximity to Key Arena made attending an event after dinner easy. Cons: The entrees are overpriced - a hanger steak, no matter how well it is prepared, should not cost $18. Prices aside, the real reason we will not return is the burger. We ordered 3 burgers. They took over 20 minutes to arrive and were raw (not rare, inedible and raw). Everyone sent their burger back. Instead of bringing out new burgers, Triumph re-fired the raw burgers and returned them to the table. Plus, the re-fired burgers were returned to the wrong guest (think, that bite mark is not mine?!?). Triumph took the burgers off the bill, but the whole experience was not good.

This review is for dinner. I haven't been here for happy hour but I hope to be able to do that someday. I really enjoyed this place overall. It has solid ambiance. My friend sat on a chair and I sat on the booth side of the bench. She reported that her chair was pretty uncomfortable after a while. That was the only slightly sour note. It's also just a tad on the loud side. I would have loved if they had turned the volume down just a smidgin to maintain the ambiance but make conversation a little bit easier. They had a nice selection of wines and the staff did a very good job of helping us pick the right wine. In general I thought the service was just right. Attentive but not too attentive. We ordered the burger, crispy potatoes, and brussel sprouts. The burger was very good. It came with a great pickle. Might sound weird but I think it's hard to find great pickles out here in Seattle and I miss them so I really appreciated that. The potatoes were super excellent. Extremely crispy and tasty. The brussel sprouts were fine. Pretty disappointing because I thought they would be better. We also had an onion soup that was incredibly good. I would definitely recommend everything except the brussel sprouts. If you live in lower Queen Anne or Belltown I totally recommend this place. I just wouldn't go way out of my way to try it if it isn't convenient for you.

I can't wait to return to triumph! So much good food, every single thing was delicious, bread pudding was to die for! Some really interesting cocktails, mine had a quail egg in it, and it was damn good! The bartenders/ server were attentive and super nice. So glad to have a chilled out non pretentious fun place to hang out at within walking distance of home.

I can't help it - I'm addicted. I live nearby and have been going here since the first opened. The burrata dish (it's seasonal and so what it's paired with changes every few months, but my absolute favorite is the burrata & grilled peaches in the summertime) is so yummy it catches my eye every time. I've taken friends there many times and tasted from their plates as well -- all of the cheese plates & traditional Italian meats are great (didn't like the lamb that much - it felt overcooked to my taste but that was over a year ago). But the ABSOLUTE best reason to go here? The salted caramel bread pudding served with ice cream on top. Super, super yum. Great food plus a small friendly staff? Check!

I went here for Seattle Restaurant Week and I noticed that it got some pretty good already and that it was new.. so I decided to try it with a group of friends. We were greeted by the server, who was an older gentlemen. He ended up being our waiter and was very attentive (refilled our water multiple times), had excellent serving etiquette and was also knowledgable about the dishes. He was a really nice guy and helped recommend some great dishes. Appetizer - ham hock soup with chanterelles and okra.. pretty tasty and I loved the chanterelles! Entree - pork belly mac and cheese & I split the braised short rib with a friend. Personally, I liked the braised short rib better. VERY tender! It came with a sweep potato/cheese puree and kale! Yumm Dessert - bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. Delicious crust with a soft center. I wish it came with more ice cream. I would definitely come back and try their happy hour. It's everyday 3-6p!

Though the Seattle Center is such a highly trafficked area, I've always been amazed (disheartened?) at the relative lack of my-kinds-of-places nearby. And by my kind of place, I mean somewhere with good wine, good drinks, good small plates, and an intimate atmosphere. So far, only Sitting Room and Solo have reliably fit the bill. But the new kid on the block (literally, as in part of the new Expo apartment building) is here to create a trio of choice. The space is lovely: dark bar, bright mod flowers on the wall, lots of light from the windows, and sleek-without-soulless all round. We were just too late for happy hour (an extensive and enticing menu), but settled on a delicious assortment of small plates instead. Highlights were the warm apple & burrata (lusciously creamy, just-sweet with a hint of salty from the speck) and the charred brussels sprouts (charcoal-edged and earthy, tucked atop a bright savory swish of carrot purée). The salmon pastrami is rich, with thick, liberally oiled slices of smoked salmon, and the beef carpaccio arrives not in wispy strands but as quarter-inch tall rounds topped with the requisite arugula, lemon, and parmigiano reggiano. Both excellent, if not as creative as the apple & burrata. Plenty of options abound for build-your-own cheese and/or charcuterie plates, or you can take whatever the chef's special version is for the day. Wine pours are generous given the reasonable by-the-glass prices, and several bottles are offered in half-bottle sizes as well (which our server kindly offered as a way to save on our tab given the table's love for Barbera). Cocktails are tempting, and of course there's beer for those who eschew any drink but. Pre- and post-theater timed happy hours, plus the friendliness of the staff (my old favorite server from Olivar has relocated here!) make this an excellent and much-needed unique addition to the neighborhood.

I love their happy hour! It's a great place to go before a show at the Seattle Center. Great drinks, esp. their cocktail of the day (jug juice). Nice staff. We met their chef who was very humble. He studied in Italy and was happy to talk to us (when we beckoned him) about food preparations and the secret to the best bread pudding in Seattle!

After tasting nearly every small plate and special on the menu (who says we have a problem with self control?), Triumph has proven itself to be a true contender in this foodie mecca that is Seattle. The menu is the perfect size and should easily please anyone in your party. Unless you're a vegan and hate all that is delicious in this world. In which case, just move on- there's nothing to see here. Standouts: The beef carpaccio was outstanding and perfectly cooked...er...uncooked? The thick cut variation was a nice twist. There was some tongue pate something or other on the menu which was not really a pate in the form we expected (ie ground meat) but instead was a delightfully grilled patty (for lack of a better word) of pulled tongue. The flavor and texture were amazing. I hope it becomes a regular menu item. The trout was exquisite. So delicate and crispy and flaky. Drinks were stellar as well, and our server was very patient with us while we were decisively indecisive. I'm happy they've opened so close to me so I don't have to be drug to the overpriced LloydMartin or elitist Betty with underwhelming menus (did I say that out loud?).

Nice addition to lower Queen Anne, which has historically been a mashup of hit and miss dining, heavier on the dive bars than trendy restaurants. Triumph manages to feel young and distinguish itself from other spots like Ten Mercer, which overflowed on this early Saturday evening with the pre-opera, post-retirement crowd. Service and ambiance were easily in five star territory. All the staff we dealt with were great. The food by itself I would give 4 stars; although it was an inspired menu, the 15-cheese pasta was over salted, right on the edge of being inedible. (We dined on 2/15/14.) Although the bacon old fashioned was a great example of an old fashioned period, I could not taste the bacon. The burrata cheese dessert was adventurous, novel and pleasing. My only other complaint is the floor to ceiling yellow flower wall paper. The pattern could have come right out of an IKEA catalog. With faux wood hallways, yellow doors, gray cement posts, and antique-look tin ceiling tiles on the walls, the flowers push the decor over the edge from endearingly eclectic to distractingly schizophrenic.

It was a cool spot. We enjoyed the ambiance and the drinks were great. My wife didn't love her Smoked Salmon Slider, but the fried potatoes I had were pretty tasty. I don't know if I would seek out coming back, but it was a fun spot to end up. It was not the greatest place for a vegetarian, not a ton of options.

I would definitely give this place between 3-5. Here's the breakdown: Atmosphere - 4: I don't think a lot of people know about it yet, and I went in the middle of the week so it wasn't too crowded. The interior is simple and clean. The staff is very attentive, which was nice! Happy Hour - 4: Great menu selection, lots of options for both food and drink, and both during day and late night Food - 3: I think the menu is creative and of course I like the fact that they seem to love pork belly as much as I do. The Crispy Potatoes were very well seasoned - and I don't even like roasted potatoes usually. However, some of the food was way too salty, especially the Pork Belly Mac and Veal Meatballs. We couldn't finish either because it was just too salty. The PB&J's pork belly was a little too crispy, and it lost that melts-in-your-mouth characteristics of pork belly that I like. The bread pudding was very good, but the caramel was just a touch too much, but I just ate the bread part so it was fine.

I had my first experience at Triumph bar on Monday, and I can say that I would definitely return. Ambiance - Very stylish and young, and it wasn't too busy. The decor is simple, modern, and it's in a nice building that's very clean, unlike many other areas of Lower Queen Anne. It was pretty quiet as well, which is distinctive for this area. Service - Good, but they seemed understaffed and it showed. There was one server who acted as bartender, host, busser, and server... about halfway through our visit, a manager finally helped as the restaurant had picked up quite a bit since our arrival. When our server did come by, he was very accommodating and attentive. We were worried at one point that we wouldn't be able to fit in our final round before happy hour was up (too common in getting HH!), but he finally made his way back to my table with about 3 minutes to spare. Food/Drink - We went for the Happy Hour. The menu had a good selection, and my table decided to split most of the items. The food was hit or miss - the prosciutto and melon's ratio was off (too much prosciutto), the pork belly mac and cheese was DELICIOUS but we split it between 3 people and we all agreed it was too salty. The veal meatballs were mediocre, sadly. My companions enjoyed the fried pickles (but they only gave 3). By far, the biggest hit was the bread pudding. It IS that good. We all just ordered the House Red, which was fine. He served our wine from the bottle to our glasses, letting us taste the wine first, which was a really nice touch. (Also, we knew their house red wasn't a boxed wine!)

Came here to meet some friends. Our waiter: Walter Food: Was OK. Ordered baked oysters, I wasn't a fan. Bottom line: the worst part was the service. Our waiter had this passive-aggressive bs attitude that my friends and I really did not appreciate. No management came to apologize. Our waiter kept taking plates when we weren't finished and managed to mess up our bill, not once, but twice. We noticed not once did he show commitment to making things right as he didn't apologize once. I'm really not one to be critical about restaurant service but the service was terrible. We left and went to another bar.

The Oysters were amazing! Everything else was not. Should have just gone to Taylor Shellfish. The Pork belly Mac and cheese under delivered, the pork belly was crunchy and chewy and the dish was overwhelmed with truffle oil. Worst meal of my trip.

Drinks were really good. They have a limited menu but whatever we ordered was good. Bread pudding is a must try. It is out of the world good. They validate parking if you park at the expo visitor parking garage on Warren, which is a big plus in downtown.

Tonight was my first experience at Triumph Bar, and I will definitely be going back again. The service was great and our server spent time talking us through the wine menu and helping us select a really lovely red that went well with the meal. In terms of food - we stated that we had no allergies and simply asked for them to start sending dishes over. Chef J.D. delivered. We had raw oysters, pork belly mac and cheese, brussell sprouts w/ bleu cheese, salmon pastrami and a charcuterie plate. Not a single complaint. While the salmon pastrami wasn't quite for me, my friend raved about it. The big winner was the bread pudding with sea salt caramel-panna cotta gelato. Wow. It's worth going the Triumph just to get the dessert. I highly recommend!

This place was great for a Saturday afternoon happy hour! We had plans to go elsewhere and stumbled upon Triumph a little disheartened, no room at our original place. We walked in and immediately felt comfortable in their warm and stylish ambiance. We ordered the "Jug Juice" blindly and were pleasantly surprised with the mojito, a cheap cocktail. Things we tried and loved: beef tongue tacos (so sweet and tender), PB&J (but how can you not live pork belly?), crisp potatoes, popcorn, BREAD PUDDING! Things we'd forgo next time: prosciutto and melon, salmon sliders (boring), fried clams (no flavor)

Stopped by early on a Friday just to check out the happy hour menu. Excellent selection of small dishes that are best shared with two or more people. I had their "jug juice" drink which was quite tasty. Very friendly and helpful bartender. Perfect place to start the evening out!

Came here by accident with no expectations. After last night's concert at Key Arena there were no Ubers available to get us home so we walked a little to look for a place to get a snack and stumbled across Triumph (and their 10pm to close HH)! Friends enjoyed the oysters. The salmon sliders were AMAZING and unique. It was cured and peppered like a pastrami. But the most memorable part was the bread pudding with salted caramel. Holy cow. Best $5 ($8 regularly but comes with gelato at the regular price) ever spent. Delicious, we could've each had one to ourselves, maybe two. I think our server was the owner. Very interested in what we thought of the food. Also told us about the gelato coming with the bread pudding at the regular price about three times so he's also a little forgetful in that regard, but charming. Lovely interior, spotless and pretty bathroom. I'm not often in the area but might even consider making the trip for the bread pudding and the salmon sliders.

I thought Triumph Bar would be a great pre-concert venue for drinks and appetizers. Boy was I wrong. I ordered one of their specialty cocktails and it was the most disgusting drink I have ever had. I sent it back, as did a couple other patrons in the restaurant (I could see the poor waiter carrying them back to the bar). When I told the waiter how bad it was, he said, "Yeah, I don't know why they keep making these things." Wow, you think he could have steered me away from it then? Oh, and I was charged $10 for the undrinkable drink. The beer was served warm (as in never been inside a refrigerator) to my friend and the wine tasted like water. The food was ok, but with the plethora of restaurants in lower Queen Anne and Seattle, this place is doomed to fail unless it makes some changes.

Perfectly located next to Key Arena and the rest of Seattle Center, I found this place while waiting for my friend to meet me for a concert. The staff is knowledgeable and experienced. Sitting at the bar watching the bartender work was impressive. The French 75s are on point. If you're in the neighborhood or coming to the Center, stop by and give Triumph a try.

So I live like 4 blocks away and walked by here a couple weeks ago, thinking, "Is this place new?! I have to check it out!" Turns out they're not new, just kind of in a dead area that few people walk by. It is so worth checking out, though, especially for happy hour. They do a cocktail of the day, which was a fantastic gin-based drink (and that's saying something for someone who is not a gin fan). We ordered the pastrami salmon sliders, beef tongue tacos, and PB&J. The PB&J was the weakest of the three. Honestly, it just tasted like pure fat...maybe some people like that; I don't. They're all a great deal, though. Decent portion sizes and fantastic flavors for between $5 and $10.

Very good. Service was attentive and all the food was great. Ordered a glass of the Pinot noir and it was nice and spiced with really intense dark berry notes. Delicious and it went great with my meal. I ordered the Brussels sprouts and the ham hock, these were the daily specials. The food came out quickly and did not disappoint at all. My brother orders the Kung pao whole trout tempura and my cousin ordered the prosciutto panini. They also shared the pork belly Mac n cheese and seemed to enjoy all of it. We shared the bread pudding for dessert. I was in heaven the pudding was warm and so silky with such great caramel sauce and the scoop of ice cream was perfection on top. Really happy and I would love to go back to try more of their yummy sounding dishes!!! Well done.

What a nice surprise! While looking for a quick meal and drink before our show at McCaw Hall, we discovered this little gem of a place, right adjacent to Seattle Center. Loved the Pork Belly Mac & Cheese, the onion bisque, and the pork cheek appetizer. The "Ex-Pat" and "El Cartel" specialty cocktails were delicious as well. Nice ambience and attentive service. We'll be back.

Go here anytime you feel like having INCREDIBLE wine, a great cocktail and most of all some of the best and most diverse food in Seattle. The interiors are really cool and remind me of a San Francisco cool vibe pushing the style points in the right direction for Seattle, finally! They have an insane wine cellar that looks like a modern library, but with wine, of course. My table of 10 did a food and wine paring and the 6 bottles we tried were some of the best I've had since living in Italy! The food was unbelievable and everything was seasoned and flavored and cooked to perfection. The chef is doing something really unique and interesting with his menu and combines savory flavored with some of the best oysters, fish and meat from the Pacific Northwest. Loved this place!

Triumph is the first of what looks like several new restaurants in the the building at the NW corner of Seattle Center. Remember where the old QFC was? It's also where the monorail station would have been if it had been extended to West Seattle and Ballard, which sadly didn't happen. Triumph is the perfect place for a cocktail or bite to eat before a show at the Rep or Intiman. On my first visit, they were serving kumamoto oysters for $1 apiece for the entire month of January. I couldn't resist, and enjoyed a Sriracha margarita with them. On my next visit, we tried the Salmon pastrami, which came with house baked rye bread, pickles and mustard. Beef Carpaccio was very tasty as well. The service was good on both visits, although our waiter during the second visit was a little too over friendly, making sure we understood and liked each dish as it came out. Not really a problem, though. I'll definitely be back in the area and will visit Triumph again!

This is a nice little modern bar that lower queen anne has been in need of. Like mentioned, it is small but it's a great place to grab a happy hour drink and some small bites. The drinks are good and the wine is unique. The server was very helpful and attentive... and the happy hour apps were awesome! The crispy potatoes, prosciutto & melon, and truffle popcorn were all excellent and it was a decent enough serving for 3 of us to share.

Be sure to visit this restaurant. Try the crab and fried green tomatoes, amazing, as are all their offerings. Must go back to try the bread pudding.

We stayed for one drink then left. Maybe because it was set up for Valentine's Day weekend (tables out; quiet ambience), but this place seemed pretty boring. We arrived, and just weren't feeling it at all. Kinda disappointing considering they had such good reviews (which is what drove our decision to visit). Maybe on a non-holiday weekend this place is legit, but not this particular weekend.

Fab new watering hole/small plates in the desperately lacking hood of Lower Queen Anne. Warmly welcomed for several reasons- new and slick ambience (gray and yellow industrial like/tons of light/open), delicious food (try the salmon sliders!), expertly crafted cocktails, awesome staff. And....up the street from my agency. A new go to for staff happy hours! It's love and would be amazing for pre Key Arena event.

Great place, great food, greater drinks, and the greatest people. Enjoyed an amazing "Gold Rush" made of bourbon, honey and lemon and I can't wait to get another. The bartender was super engaging and the breadpudding made we rethink bread as a dessert.

I've been here a bunch, cocktails are excellent and food is good. Great service as well. I'd recommend the porterhouse and any specials!

I have been here twice this week, and it's an hour drive away from where I live. I love the service, the drinks are really good, and the bartender has been really good to me. I tried a delicious whiskey sour, and cocktail made with apple, lemon, and olive oil that was really great. It reminds me of Brooklyn (my home away from home!), and I will definitely make it a point to stop in whenever I'm in Seattle.

Delicious small plates and great selection of wine and cocktails. Meats, cheeses, and salads were very fresh and good quality. Beautiful, intimate atmosphere with attentive service. Excellent addition to Lower QA!

How can you not love pork belly mac & cheese with truffles? We went for Happy Hour and loved it. Pass on the Bacon Manhattan (which the waiter replaced for my husband with a smile and did not charge us for it) but do not miss the veal meatballs, fried pickles and cheese cheese cheese! It is a bit noisy but if you want quiet go to the library! Very high quality ingredients with a small but great menu.

Went to Triumph Bar with 5 friends tonight and it was not great. In retrospect, it was comical how many things were wrong with our experience. The beer was warm and required ice to be drinkable. One of our party ordered the Mezcal lemon cocktail on the drink menu. It was undrinkable and after trying a sip, we could not get the noxious taste out of our mouths. The table next to us ordered the same drink and they sent it back. When we complained about our drink, they refused to remove the charge from our bill. The Chardonnay tasted watered down. Even the vodka tonic was unrecognizable as a vodka tonic. At 7:00 PM on a Saturday night, they ran out of grapefruit juice for Salty Dogs (Safeway is a block away from this place) Did I mention that we were in a BAR? The food was unremarkable and did not make up for the terrible drinks. We got the impression that they really didn't care about what they were putting out to their guests. I wish that we had chosen the bar next door, Agave. It has to better than Triumph.

Go here. It's just what lower Queen Anne has been dying for. Beautiful drinks. Beautiful interiors. Fun people behind the bar. Yeah!!

Ran into this place while visiting Space Needle and EMP. What a great surprise. Has an amazing selection of wines, but then we tried the mixed drinks. They were unique and very tasty. Also ordered some food. The burger was also unique and completely hit the spot. Top it off with bread pudding that was too good, and you have yourself a great night. Service was prompt and extremely friendly. Sounds like it is fairly new, but I'm sure it will be sticking around. I'm sure we will be back.

The bread pudding with gelato was one of the top five dishes I've ever had. Excellent service and small plates. You should go with friends for happy hour and order all of the small plates. I went with one friend and we devoured four . . . small plates, that is, not friends, and a piece of amazing coconut cake too. Please open Triumph 2 in Providence!

My hubby and I try to get here for happy hour whenever we are in town. It's a fun place to go and they have a nice menu. The food is good, but service can be a little slow.

Finally a place that gets it on Lower Queen Anne. Sexy atmosphere, validated parking, great professional service and a oh so hip menu. I live in the neighborhood and know every restaurant and this one is top notch. My only suggestion is the bar stools are a little uncomfortable.

Well crafted drinks and food, but super expensive. I played $19 for a double margarita (well tequila). I have to say they do an incredible margarita, but for $22? No thanks. Maybe happy hour is better.

Great place for happy hour. Sat at the bar, very personable bartender and excellent mixed drinks. Food is great too; great gastronomic fare at a reasonable price for downtown Seattle. I recommend it for meeting friends after work. No tv's to distract, great view of the needle, and noise levels from convos is as expected but not overwhelming.

Beef tongue tacos and salt/caramel bread pudding are unbelievable. Best happy hour in town.

The charcuterie plate was great appetizer to share (big enough that it could probably serve as a light meal). The macaroni and cheese with pork belly was delicious. The drinks were good, but not worth the trip just for drinks. The layout of the bar separates the bar area from the regular seating area, so it doesn't feel like a restaurant that transitions well from dinner to after-dinner bar. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the LQA area near Key Arena. Probably the best dinner experience I've had in that specific area.

My wife and where going to a concert last night and we saw this place on the way so we decide to try it out. The food was alright I got The Pig Panini sandwich it was alright and my wife got the Heirloom tomato and mozzarella Panini I liked hers better then mine which never happens. The waiter we had no clue what he was doing our food beat our drinks to the table. He was just paying more attention to a table with girls and never checked up on us another waiter did so this place sucks haha.

Super service- great happy hour food menu- could add a few additional drink special. Nice atmosphere, great alternative to the many options in Queen Anne.

Incredible food and drinks. Sit down and let the staff do the ordering. If you have to order yourself I recommend the trout and the peaches!

Great food and wine list to pair with it. The knowledgable staff will help you find the perfect bottle on any budget from their extensive list. This brand new space is beautiful and the sunny patio seating is perfect on a summer day. I would recommend the whole trout.
