I stopped in for lunch during the week and was surprised the place was nearly empty. after ordering the basic falafel wrap, I proceeded to wait roughly 10 minutes as customers who ordered after me received their orders. When I finally received my order, it was just okay and in no way beats the Greek place across the street.

Went to try this place out last night and ended up leaving without ordering because they use styrofoam to-go containers. Those things are the scourge of the earth. Until they move on to something that can be recycled, I'll be going to Athina across the street for my Mediterranean fix.

Best chicken shwarma. Entertaining employees. Easy parking if you pretend you're going to Dick's. They present the food well, which is something more expensive places fail at.

I ordered the gyro salad and noticed that the cook pulled out the gyro meat from a container from the fridge or freezer and warmed up the meat on the grill vs shaving the meat off of the vertical roaster. My friend ordered a gyro at the same time that I had placed my order but he did not receive it until I was almost done eating my salad.

  • Jeremy T.

Had the gyro salad and they pulled out some meat from under the counter instead of shaving it off from the main slab. As if gyro meat isn't already mysterious enough. Meat was super greasy, I had puddles of grease on my plate. They served everything in styrofoam containers, even if you're dining there. The hot sauce on the table was good.

Douchy staff. They were blaring loud music and refused to turn it down. Food is good though.

I loved this place! After being turned down at two other "posh" restaurants on Queen Anne Blvd. for not having a reservation, we came across The Golden Olive. The food was excellent! I ordered a falafel gyro while my husband ordered the original gyro. We also shared a side order of Greek fries, which were delicious! They came with a garlic sauce and feta cheese. The place was also very kid-friendly. Our two kids (ages 3 and 5) shared a kids' meal and a side of hummus and pita. The two guys who worked there were also extremely friendly and helpful. Good price; no wait; I'd highly recommend this place!!!

Have been here a couple of times now with my husband and we are both pleased with all of the food we have tried so far. All around a good place to get an affordable and tasty quick dinner.

Really good, authentic Middle Eastern food. Hummus is of the best I've had in America; especially Seattle. Highly recommended.

We waited a few months to go here because it didn't look like anything special from the outside (and it's right across the street from Athina) but I finally ordered the lamb shawarma and fries a few days ago and both were really tasty! I'll most definitely be returning frequently!

Ok so I finally strolled in here to check it out. I saw the recent reviews for it and there have been several good ones. I originally was suspicious of the first 5 star as it seemed like someone was stuffing their ratings. That is all good because with more you start to get a feel for the place. So what did I think? Well my first impression when I walked in is that its clean if a bit generic. The chairs and tables are cheap. They have salt and pepper on the tables but it would be nice if they had napkin holders and a few other little details or condiments. Just my preferences. The guys there were pleasant and I opted for the standard Gyro. They asked if I wanted hot sauce when? Why would I want hot sauce on a Gyro, this isn't a Mexican taco? But ok that is cool if folks like it give it. So standard gyro and a pop. The gyro itself was a decent portion and was a good value but it seemed to not have any Tatziki or yogurt sauce which I have to say was disappointing. That would have really added some acid and freshness to the dish. The amount of meat in it was good but my mouth was burning for a bit after so I had to wonder did I get the hot sauce after all? Not really sure about that but I suspect so. The short of it is that I really would need to have a few more dishes here to test the consistency and see where the stars align, but for now its a straight middle of the road, neither great nor bad. I think Garlic Crush in Bellevue still reigns supreme for the best lunch Gyro but I think this place has hope. Its not busy and I think its new so it needs some folks to start going there if its gonna make it. Time will tell. It will get a second visit for me that will determine if I become a regular. Share your thoughts with me on your experience. I am curious. Peter

Better than the one in front. Kind of small but it does the job of being fast and cheap

  • Evelyn B.

Love their gyros - it's different from the usual Greek gyros and they say that but it is SO MUCH BETTER! The spices are complex and make for a much more interesting meal. Get the hot sauce!

Don't let the decor (or lack of) stop you from stopping at this little restaurant. The food was wonderful! We had a gyro and regular gyro plate.

Great food. Everything was very fresh with fantastic flavors. Staff was very kind and helpful. Restaurant was clean. I would come again for sure and will tell friends about.

A nondescript little place that serves delicious authentic food for casual dinning. The staff who run this place are friendly and easy going. There were three of us that had dinner there and we were all very happy with the food! For a modest little place I didn't expect much on the presentation on the plates, but they came out really nice, a pleasant surprise! Perfect dinning option for after a long day at work, the food hit the spot!

Vindictive re-order? I've been to Golden Olive several times in person and ordered delivery. They use a service for delivery, FYI. Last night I ordered 5 items and only 3 showed up. Annoying but not the end of the world. These things happen. The delivery service contacted GO and said they would dispatch a replacement. Now, of course this didn't make anyone happy but sometimes things get missed or dropped or whatever. The missing items weren't what made me question the ethics of this establishment. When the two items arrived they were covered in a very spicy red sauce...and these are items that are never served with a spicy red sauce and that option doesn't exist on the GO's menu. Was this a little "screw you" from them to me for actually wanting what I paid for? I can't be certain but I'm certain enough that there was some desire to have me not enjoy the food, which I did not and did not finish more than a bite of each, that I will not be ordering from there again. Sad, because it was a convenient location and they do Middle Eastern food properly.

Found this place after a concert at the Key and ordered the Royal kebab. Really good sauce and you get a lot of delicious food at a decent price. Plus they're open late. Definitely will be back.

  • Jamila H.

The Golden Olive is a great. The lamb kebabs and chicken kebabs are delicious, and the portions are generous. The kebabs came with hummus, pita, salad, and rice. The hummus wasn't my favorite...it was a little watery and not super flavorful. I didn't knock a star off for the hummus though. The only reason why I don't visit the Golden Olive more often is because the food is served on Styrofoam plates with plastic silverware. It makes me feel like I'm eating yucky fast food. Real plates and silverware for dine in customers would make this place a lot better. I think they should scrap the carcinogenic styrofoam all together and go for some more earth friendly takeout options too.

  • Charlotte S.

This is not Greek food. Its more Lebanese I think. I did not like my gyro at all. The spices are completely different than typical greek. I think there was cinnamon in there somewhere. Not my favorite. My husband and I both said we regretted going there. My mouth tasted like dirty garlic for the rest of the day.

  • Shitanshu A.

This place is awesome! I live in the neighborhood and only recently realized that they had opened shop. In the past couple weeks, this has become one of my go-to spots. The gyro plate is DELICIOUS!

  • Krystal F.

Great service and food. Open late night and totally worth it. Gyros, falafel and French fries are some of my favorites in the area. They are genuinely nice and care about how their customers feel and want to make sure the customers enjoy their food. I love it and recommend it.

High quality ingredients at a low price. The best Gyro I have had in the states.

Went here for dinner last night with my wife and a couple of friends. We were a little surprised to find it empty on a Friday night and I really hope that business picks up. We started off with the greek fries. They were easily the best I've had till date. Perfect fries, brilliant sauce on them and nice seasoning. Loved them. I got the kufta plate while my friend for the lamb kebab plate. The meat was so tender and flavorful, melted in my mouth. The rice was outstanding. The salad was fresh and well seasoned. The pita and humus were pretty standard but fresh. Massive portion of outstanding food. My wife for the falafel sandwich. It was really nice but the falafels themselves were a tad bit dry, like they had been frozen before being fried. We finished off with the most generous portions of baklava I've ever seen. Overall I absolutely loved the food. They portions are huge and the prices extremely affordable. The service is quick and friendly. I can't wait to go back and would very strongly recommend it to everyone.

Ate a delicious lunch here after spending the morning doing tourist-y things over by the Space Needle. My husband ordered the chicken gyro plate and I got the falafel plate. Both were made to order and did not disappoint. My falafel was perfectly spiced and got nice and crispy on the outside while being soft on the inside. I loved the rice which seemed to have a hint of sweet (maybe cinnamon or cardamom) undertone to it along with the savory. Some hummus and pita chips perfectly rounded out my plate. The plates were huge, neither of us could quite polish them off and we were happy to have a fairly long walk back to our hotel afterwards! Wouldn't hesitate to come back.

  • Sunny G.

Absolutely love their falafel. It always tastes fresh, correctly seasoned, and is never dry. One of the few places in Seattle that knows how to cook falafel correctly. It is leagues ahead of Athina across the street. The crew at Golden Olive is always a pleasure to speak to, as well. The only area of improvement would be the price.

    (4)
  • Jerome T.

Like my women this joint is cheap and fulfilling so that's why I came here two to three times a week. Yup, I said it. I love all things lamb. I love shwarma, doner, kefta kebabs... and this place was cheap. Marriage made in heaven Felecia. The platters will really fill you up and a sandwich is kinda decent too. Although, if this was in NYC, you'd get way more meat. Pause. It's not a destination but rather a perfect joint to have in the hood kind of thing. Kinda like Applebees, but not.

  • Dan D.

Delicious Mediterranean food! Better than Athina across the street. I got the chicken gyro plate, and it was large, flavorful, and inexpensive ($9.99). Very friendly!

  • Jane M.

Good fresh food, nice staff, good service and they deliver. This little place is around the corner so we stop in for lunch when we can. The food is always hot and fresh. I really like their falafel and gyros sandwiches ) the pits bread is soft and warm). The falafel tastes like homemade. Today I had a salad and it was great as well. It's a nice place for a casual meal.

  • G B.

Great flavors with the kufta plate. Walking by in the early afternoon, stopped in based on some Yelp reviews, ordered the Kufta plate, and was delighted. Excellent flavorful lamb, the Greek salad, pita, and rice were also very very good. $9.99 was a good value for Seattle.

    (4)
  • Sarah Z.

I was in the mood for Mediterranean so I figured I would try the Golden Olive. My husband got the gyro and I got the kufta plate. My kufta was tender and delicious, the rice was bursting with flavor, and the hummus was rich and creamy. We will for sure be going back the next time we are in the area.

Lived this place. Good was great. Grape leaves are homemade and not the kind that come from the van. Best falafel I've had in Seattle.

  • Faith D.

Meh. Disappointment served up for lunch and it was very unsatisfying. I don't think they anticipated the crowd of couples descending upon this place on a Sunday afternoon. I was attending a couples conference and couldn't wait for a break to eat. In any case, there were probably only 5 groups of people that entered during the lunch hour. Only one person manning the place. Next, the food was a major bummer. I love Mediterranean food and to see this was categorized as Lebanese, well, it convinced me to go here rather than the Greek restaurant a few doors down. Boy, I was misdirected. Who puts Caesar salad dressing or creamy Ranch on a Greek salad? The lentil soup was awful; it reminded me of the bare bottom stock of what once might have been a good soup...a week ago. Where was the hummus?! Scant drop on the plate. And they were serving garlic chili sauce in a condiment bottle at the table. I love that sauce, but it just made the place seem even more confused because typically you see that at Asian restaurants. Yelp reviews failed me for one of the first times in my search for a local eatery. I haven't been this disheartened over eating in a while. Thankfully the Met Market down the street saved the day. I would have mentioned the poor food to the employee, but he wasn't too friendly to begin with and being the only one there, he had other orders to fill. Could have been an off day, but sadly they only get one chance with me.

It's halal restaurant in downtown of Seattle It has variety of halal food. I like their chicken kabab, gyro chicken plate and soup.

So good! My first time here. I got the chicken kabob! The staff is super friendly and welcoming and the food is cooked to order so it's fresh!

Lots of lettuce on the Gyro (I liked it, some others might say it's too much). Similar amount of meat on the plate meal vs. gyro. The plates are presented nicely. Good prices. Wasn't too busy at 5:30pm on Sunday.

Sam's Sushi turned into Mediterranean/Greek/Lebanese. Upon entering, nothing has changed. Same tables, seats, etc. and empty. The falafels here are mediocre or less at best. None of the components to make a falafel sandwich had flavor. I got bored eating after a couple of bites. I kid you not. Hummus- bland, tzatziki- not really fresh, couldn't even taste it, sumac- just a sprinkle, falafel- mushy and no flavor. Dolma- not briney, no taste. The rice in it was raw and crispy. I wanted to try the meat that was rotating but it looked really dry and unappealing. Most Mediterranean food has at least salt, pepper, olive oil, lemon, tahini etc. This didn't even have a lick of those flavors. The only thing that was delicious was the hot sauce and (couple bites of) pita. The reviews are suspicious, almost felt cheated after eating here. Instead of having "people" hype this place up, fix the food and the good reviews will fall in place.

  • Gaurav P.

Great food. Very fresh and flavorful. Nice courteous staff. Definitely recommend for a quick bite if you are in the area and in mood for Mediterranean. Grape leaves, babaganoush and falafel are great.

    (4)
  • Colin G.

I had the gyro and the Greek Fries (fries with tzatziki, spices and feta). The gyro meat was quite good. The pita was excellent: really soft and obviously fresh. For the Greek fries, I think it was worth the extra $0.70 over the regular fries. They put Greek hot sauce (very similar to the Vietnamese hot sauce, strangely) on every table, and it actually went really, really well with the Greek fries. I can't explain that, but I loved the two together. But that hot sauce ate through the paper on my tray. Be careful with that stuff. The people there are really nice. They seem genuinely happy to have you in there. The two items were about $10 with tax, which is not bad for the area. I can't fault them on anything, but this also wasn't blow-me-away sort of Greek food. This is a really good option if you're in the neighborhood, want to keep it reasonably priced, and don't want Dick's.

Pretty solid spot for authentic middle eastern food. Not as good as other favorites of mine like the Gyro Cafe but I ended up polishing off my entire plate and being pretty content about that

We enjoyed a delicious meal a before a show at Key Arena. The hummus and falafel were absolutely delicious. Service was fast and friendly. My parents had the lamb kabob plate and gyros plate - enjoyed them both. We will definite come back when we're on lower Queen Anne.

  • Bryant H.

I'm a simple guy - I always get the #1 Gyro on their menu for lunch. Well, it is simply exquisite! The ingredients are fresh, the meat is delectable, the trimmings are incredible! It's in the details like the tomatoes - my guess is that they are chopped and have just the right amount of olive oil added and the PERFECT amount of perfectly minced mint....each bite is a dream! If you want the BEST Gyro in town at the best price, you owe it to yourself to try The Golden Olive's Gyro. Just another thought - the crew working there are the nicest group of guys! There is a particular way I like my Gyro put together and they remember me every time. Great place, great people.

  • Christina T.

Very flavorful Mediterranean cuisine! I love the taste of the rice, chicken, greek salad, dressing, hummus and their pita bread! All of them are rich in flavor, yet not overwhelming. For a generous portion of a complete meal at only $9.99, I definitely highly recommend this place!

  • Jay V.

Some of the best greek food I've had in seattle. Great food, great quality, fair price. I had a chicken gyro, which was pretty good, and a lamb Shwarma, which was phenomenal. Open late too! The chef, Fadel, serves up some dang good food, and good service too

    (5)
  • Kirsten R.

Very reasonable pricing, kind staff, and spectacular food! We came back twice within 24 hours just to get another gyro! Hands down the best Greek gyro I've ever had! They have a great variety of traditional Greek cuisine!

This place is a great little spot for a fast, delicious, and inexpensive casual meal. I usually get my order to go. The staff is always polite and friendly, and usually gets your food prepared fresh in 10- 15 minutes. I usually get the Chicken Kabob Platter, or a Chicken Gyro with Greek Fries. The rice here is always flavorful, the meat is tender, and veggies crisp and fresh. If you are meeting a friend for a quick dinner, or just want really good take out after a long day- this is your spot!

I WAS PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED BY THE CHEF AND HAD TO CALL THE POLICE. Please do not go here. I'm really upset about what happened at The Golden Olive, especially because I had always been a loyal customer and had received good service up until this incident. I ordered 2 Greek salads to go, and the "chef" gave me 2 to-go boxes that were basically ALL LETTUCE. No greek olives, no pepperoncinis, and 2 thin slices of tomato and cucumber. It was definitely not a $7 salad ($15 for 2, with tax). It was more pathetic than a McShaker from McDonalds. I asked if he could make me a real Greek salad, or give me my money back, and he became irate and started throwing on a bunch of feta cheese on it, saying that feta cheese and pepperoncinis are the same thing. I picked up my receipt while standing at the counter and was about to call my credit card company to dispute the charge, and the man comes running around the counter and physically pulls my credit card and receipt out of my hand and twisted my wrist. He was so aggressive and scary, and as a 5 foot tall, 100 lb woman, I was legitimately scared because I was in there all alone with him. So I called the police and filed a report, because you know, you can't just go around twisting peoples wrists when you're mad. Please do not support this business. Physical violence is not okay and that chef should be fired immediately.

  • Dulce A.

So good! The fries are seasoned to perfection. I'm so glad I asked for extra garlic sauce on the side it was amazing. This was definitely different than the typical Arab food that Dearborn MI has to offer. I loved it and close to our hotel !

  • Mack M.

The Golden Olive should be jam-packed, and it's not. The food is standard fare, but very well prepared and presented. The falafel is freshly cooked, unlike at another nearby place that I will not name. (In fairness, they may have upped their standards since my last visit!). I really like this place, and I wish it was more convenient for me so I could come here more often. Anytime I'm in the neighborhood, however - this will be my place. Make it yours!

Nice little Mediterranean food spot. Cooked to order, tasty and a good price point. I've had the lamb kabob plate and kufta shawarmah. Oh, and the Greek fries... Delicious!

  • Rex J.

This is the first time I've ever had Mediterranean food, so I have no basis of comparison. I will say that it was run by a few friendly guys that were quick to answer our questions about the foreign food. They whipped up very aesthetic and savory dishes. The beef/lamb gyro I ordered was incredible: All the flavors blended together well, and the meat was cooked very well. I would highly recommend as an inexperienced Mediterranean cuisine critic, and I will guarantee you friendly service.

First time trying Swarmaah & Greek fries... fantastic! The employees are always nice & I can get a quick bite to eat when I'm on a rush. Good size portions & the prices are affordable.

Not nearly as good as Athinas. I love Greek food, and have never had to deal with my least favorite food in my favorite cuisine. They have bell peppers in their gyros but don't bother to mention that on the menu. I wonder what else is in there. The Greek fries are drenched in sauce and not crispy enough (to be fair this a common Seattle problem). I went once and will never be back.

Been here couple of times, ordered veg platter this time. Pita bread is so fluffy, warm and falafel just made fresh Crispy outside and soft inside arranged on top of rice. Hummus with olive oil and olive :D salad with light cheese. They have take outs, if you like to try something different try this great Mediterranean cuisine.

I shared a to go order of lamb shawarmah, regular gyro, and greek fries. Everything was fantastic and full of flavor. My husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed the garlic, feta sauce on the greek fries. Overall, nice fresh vegetables, tasty sauces, and tender meat.

I ordered for delivery via Bitesquad, and I was VERY happy with my food. [5 star dishes] Veggie combo plate ***** The baba ghanoush had a nice, smoky taste and the falafel was so crispy! Gyro plate ***** Lots of tzatziki sauce, plenty of flavorful meat, and a creamy side salad Greek fries ***** Generous ratio of cheese to fries, and arrived still crispy Arabic Baklava ***** 3 types of baklava, all delicious Grape leaves [4 star dish] - Lentil Soup [3 star dish] - Hummus ***** The consistency wasn't as thick and creamy as I prefer. Everything was packed well, and the prices were very reasonable. My fave Mediterranean place (Petra) has got some new competition! I thoroughly enjoyed almost everything that I ordered from The Golden Olive, and will certainly order from them again.

The place has only been open for 2 1/2 months that's why there aren't many reviews. I followed my fellow yelpers and went there for lunch today. The food was made to order, so flavorful, and generous portions. I wish I lived on Queen Anne so I could frequent this place more. The atmosphere is quiet which is a refreshing change for most of the restaurants in the area. One could actually have a conversation without yelling in there. Food is cheap, fast, and delicious. Could have definitely split a plate. I think the owner is the cook, cashier, and waiter which shows in how personable his is. Can't say enough about how kind he was.

I didn't go here for a while because I never had a reason to. Athena is down the block and they are pretty good, so I saw no reason to try something new. Today I craved a gyro similar to Aladdin's in the UW and this place seemed like they could deliver. I got there about 12:45 and they were pretty busy with the end of lunch rush. I ordered a gyro with no tomatoes or green peppers. The guy taking my order looked at me like I was a horrible person and said "SO NO VEGGIES?!" Well, no, I want the lettuce, onions and cucumbers. I think he wanted to smack me for asking such a thing. It was amazing. The gyro was great! Meat was juicy, sauce was thick and not too cucumbery. I seemed to be the only person that ordered a straight up gyro. The popular dish seems to be the gyro platter. Will definitely come back again for their horrible attitudes and great gyros.

We tried this out tonight - I got the falafel plate, hubby got the lamb shawarma and the kiddos got chicken gyros: all delicious, especially the salad - very fresh, perfect feta cheese on top! Picky kids happily ate their gyros. Service was prompt and the staff very friendly. I was worried when we arrived at 5 pm on a Monday - no one else was in there! But the food was very tasty, good size portions and by the time we left the restaurant was 2/3 full. We will be back!

A great go-to place for a taste of the Mediterranean. The gyro plate is amazing. Very flavorful, portion size is perfect, and the meat is incredibly tender and delicious. I would highly recommend!

I ordered with them through the app Eat24. After 1 hour and 20 minutes passed I called the restaurant to get an update. The guy I talked to said that I need to call Eat24 as the driver left with my order 40 minutes ago so it's not on him anymore. I used the chat function in the app and just got the same automated reply. So I called the restaurant back and told him that I am not getting any update. He kept telling me I need to call them and get the phone number from their site. I had to ask 3 times for him to just give me the phone number. When I asked if I can get my money back, he said he can't do that as the driver left and it's no longer on him. Then he finally gave me Eat24 phone number and told me that they're closed already. This seemed very odd to me as he just told me he called them himself and they said the driver is just taking longer... After getting a hold of someone at Eat24, she was nice enough to check with the restaurant as she was saying the order hasn't left the restaurant yet. After checking with the restaurant, she confirmed that the order hasn't even left the restaurant. I cancelled the order and al getting my money refunded. So, not only was the guy at the restaurant not helpful, he also lied to me about my delivery being on route and also Eat24 being closed! Definitely never getting food here again!

The staff here is friendly, the Greek style fries are delicious (you must treat yourself to these!), and the pita is always soft and fresh. Nothing fancy, but this is a solid spot.

  • Justin S.

I have eating here many times. The falafel they make from scratch and are the bomb! Everything I've eaten here is delicious. Friendly bunch of guys too. Highly recommend this place, and that's coming from a dude that eats here at least once a week.

  • Rebecca B.

I have to say, I think this is the smoothest and most flavorful hummus I have even had. I was too late for the bus one day for a full lunch, so I ran into this new place and picked up some hummus and some grape leaves as quick, portable food that I could take with me. It's been a favorite ever since. The greek fries are also delicious (lots of fries and lots of sauce, so find someone to share with if you are a light eater like me) and the gyros are as expected - good gyros. But the hummus really shines here!

    (5)
  • Katie D.

The food here is super. It's right across the street from Athina, my old go-to for gyros, but the other dishes here are really delicious, whereas Athina specializes in a few good things. The hummous is really creamy, and it's topped with olive oil, cilantro, and an olive, and if you get one of the plates, it comes with rice (saffron rice, I think but I'm not an expert) and salad. The salad has a really tasty dressing on it, which I can't really identify, but it's really delicious. The first time I went in, there was a man there who took my order, told me how things were different, and prepared my dish with a lot of care. Each time I call in for takeout, I love that the person answering asks for my "good name". I think you should go. Try the Kufta. Or try the gyros. Or get some salad. It's worthwhile.

This place is really cheap on the sandwiches. I just ordered a lamb schwarma sandwich. It's supposed to come with tomato, onion, tahini and hummus on it. I get the sandwich and it is overflowing with lettuce. I open the sandwich and there maybe 3-4 one inch pieces of meat. That's it. For an $8 sandwich you would think there should be some actual meat in there!! I'm never coming back. Go spend your money at Athina grill across the street.

The falafel plate is good. I'll be back for that. I'm glad that they keep the sidewalk and curb tidy in front of their store unlike some of their neighboring businesses.

Finally had a chance to stop into this place, after eyeballing it for awhile! This place took over the old Sam's Sushi location (which I never got to try), but nonetheless, I'm definitely enjoying the food they serve here. Tender, flavorful meat, fresh vegetables and pitas, and tasty sauces make for a quality Mediterranean food experience. The rice also had a unique flavor to it, with spices I couldn't quite put my finger on (cinnamon? nutmeg? it was good!). Overall, a solid, inexpensive dining option in the neighborhood. Great for take-out if you're not in the mood for the other options nearby!

Found our new favorite Med food restaurant in Seattle while on our way to my favorite Thai restaurant (Phuket)! The six of us all loved it (4 adults, 2 kids). Falafel is spot on, Kabab delicious, Greek salad is terrific. Guys behind counter were friendly.

We ordered from here using BiteSquad, which is also amazing. As a joke he requested they draw a happy lamb on the lamb gyro box (sorry, vegetarians) and they did! This and the delicious gyro with (cough) probably unhappy lamb is reason enough for us to go there again. Yay for a sense of humor, guys!

My husband and I had takeout from here last night, & we were both VERY happy. I had the original gyro (they have an option to make it extra spicy, which I *love*), dolmas (stuffed grape leaves); my husband had the chicken skewers (came with greek rice, salad, & hummus); we shared the greek fries (out of this world delicious!!!) & 3 (!!) different kinds of baklava. Greek/Mediterranean is my very favorite cuisine, and I'll definitely be returning here, as I've been unimpressed with the Greek restaurant across the street. Golden Olive's menu is quite small -- I'm hoping they'll expand it to include a few more items as business picks up. Honestly, the only item my husband and I weren't thrilled with was the rice. But that just left us with more room for baklava. :)

I was very impressed with their lamb/beef gyro. It's much better than other gyro places around the area. The Greek fries are pretty awesome too.

My favorite Mediterranean place in Seattle. Much better than Athena across the street. I've tried their salads, plates and sandwiches, all very tasty. Definitely recommend!

This is an awesome place. Though it is not big, the flavor of the food here is very good. I had Royal Kabab Plate last time and it didn't disappoint me!

This place is awesome. The chicken shawarma is the best I've had and I'm middle eastern. Hah. Great mediterranean food overall.

These guys gave me a pretty bad stomach ache after I ate there, but hey it was cheap and it tasted good! The prices are low and the food is tasty, but the ingredients used probably aren't the highest quality. In conclusion, if you have a cast iron stomach then you can probably eat here and get away with it, but otherwise it may not be worth your time!

There were people ahead of me. We all did take-out orders. My falafel platter with apple juice was good. A lot of falafel balls on rice. There was a lot of olive oil on everything, even on the hummus. Also, the pita bread was like a pancake. It was different, but tasty. The place was clean. The service was quick. Good.
