Five out of five! The service was surprisingly good for the setting, when you first enter the establishment they have a sign that tells you to seat yourself. Once we took a seat we received our waters in minutes which was pretty impressive in my opinion because it was a busy night. Skimming through the menu they have a good variety of things to order. We had the fried green tomatos, garlic fries w/ habenaro aioli and the bison skewers. I'd highly recommend ordering the fried green tomatos and the garlic fries but to pass on the bison skewers. There were a few hiccups here and there but our waitress did a fantastic job. We ended the night with panna cotta which was pretty good, could've had a better texture but yummy nonetheless. Pricing on every thing is fair and the bar is clean and there are tvs everywhere, if you're in the area you should give this place a try!

It took four separate occasions and a lot of terrible customer service tjat brought me toThe Bridge's Yelp Review. Its a seat yourself facility but beware... Its also a get up and get your own water because the wait staff will ignore you ten times over doesn't matter whether you're sitting at the bar, in a booth or a high top table. Let's forget the water... How about letting my beer go empty without a thought of asking for another round?! Ridiculous. My partner came to join me and couldn't even get a beer for the first fifteen minutes that they were sitting. FIVE other tables who came in after the fact were served first. I could not even wrap my head around how rude me and my dear friend were being treated. Another time... Well, every time it is so hard for me to even get a food order in. Not to mention two out of the four times the order has been WRONG! Half the time I want to eat somewhere else but there are channels at this restaurant that Beverage Place and my cable don't offer. I want to leave a review because I need the management to understand what is going on. The waitress left a "leave a comment" card with no pen. Therefore I'm forced to go public. Thank you for your time. Makes up for the lack of time each and everyone of your employees has given to me, my family and traveling friends.

Great place. Fun vibe. Great food. Only fault is trying too hard. Slightly over seasoned food. If properly done I would say 5+ star

Well, let's say this local watering hole is a huge improvement from Chuck & Sally's Tavern that use to grace this building. But then again Chuck & Sally's was a classic West Seattle dive bar.. Now onto my review, I know you can hardly wait... I had high expectations and was very disappointed about this joint. Defiantly it's no Triple D diner. I shared 2 items with a friend and we were equally disappointed not only in what we had but also the menu selections offered. So bar food is not what this place is all about. Now the positive was if your looking for a great cocktail joint this place is just what your looking for in a watering hole... Great looking establishment with a warm and friendly vibe. However parking stinks so either take the bus or walk. So grab a tasty beverage and forget the food.

Went with a group of friends for brunch on New Year's Day and the place was already PACKED when we showed up, good thing we made reservations (we're planners). The bar looks like a great place for people to enjoy watching sports matches (not my thing, obviously), play games (there was a whole stack on a table in the back), and it looks like some bar games are in the process of being set up. Friendly atmosphere, very laid back, plenty of seating. The food was better than average bar food, and delicious! The whole table shared cheese curd appetizers. All four of us have recently lived in Wisconsin, and the tempura battered curds were a fun Seattle spin on a Wisconsin favorite! Everyone had burgers as well, and they hit the spot. I would order the sweet potato fries next time! Also...one of my friends eats only gluten free, and the menu was WAY more accommodating than most other bars (Please get some gluten free buns!). The servers were very attentive to our table, which I was surprised about because of how packed the bar was. All in all, I was impressed at how smoothly things went and how good the place looks considering they just moved to a new location. We'd go back !

Seriously, everything and anything you want in a local pub. We have been fans of The Bridge since their original 35th avenue location and followed them to their California locale. The Bridge always provides the best in friendly service, entertainment and they have Fried Green Tomatoes to die for! Even if you don't like sports, (which they have every package) the environment is inviting to EVERYONE! Oh, check out the steak bites or just a burger, I guarantee you won't be disappointed! Can't wait for the outdoor patio when warmer weather comes!

I've been visiting The Bridge since they were at their old location. They have good food and I love that it's walking distance from my house. For that reason I often go there for lunch... and that's how I've noticed the one very frustrating con about The Bridge: the lunchtime service is unbelievably slow. I've had lunch at least 4 times in 2 months there, I usually order their Turkey Sandwich lunch special and the kitchen is always slow. I've never seen my order come out in less than 20 minutes. For anyone that know how lunch places operate, that's very slow. Elliott Bay Brewery is an example of fast lunchtime service -- no matter what you order it's out to the table in 8-10 minutes. I like The Bridge and will still frequent it, but hope the owners can focus on speeding up the kitchen a bit for lunchtime. Thanks.

New location is amazing. The menu is a bit different from before but much better! More options and something to suit every kind of picky eater or person with diet restrictions. I always take out of town guests here. I have tried several items but my favorites are the chicken sliders, the Thai chicken salad and the French fries. The homemade potato chips are great too! Great bar, lots of house wines, many beers on tap and of course mixed drinks as well. Good service, even when crowded. Lots of TVs so you can see the games from anywhere. Not as large as the Rocksport but worth waiting for if needed.

The Bridge is awesome. It was awesome on 35th and it is great now that it's at California. The food is fantastic. They have several gluten free options. All of their food is local or the very best you can buy. Yeah yeah I know, so Seattle, shut the hell up. Okay, bottom line is drinks are awesome. The hot buttered rum is to die for. And the food kicks ass. Go to The Bridge.

  • Kelly J.

I never made it to the location on 35th, but I can see why the Bridge has a following. Pros: -varied menu -decent beer selection -good cocktails -nice ambience/internal fung shui -good service Cons: -louder than heck -slightly narrow walk ways -beer selection could be better -parking is a nightmare (but that's true for the Bev, Feedback, and Zeek's too) Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would go definitely go back.

I really want to like this place. I keep telling my friends this and I keep going but every time I go I'm underwhelmed. For instance. Yesterday I suggested to a friend we stop in at The Bridge for a cold one. We sat down and a waitress asked us if we wanted a beer. I did but I had no idea what beers were on tap as there are no tap handles on the beer taps behind the bar nor is there a chalk board or white board or anything to tell me what beers are on tap. And our less than friendly waitress (poor service is my number one complaint with this place) didn't bother to recommend something or provide a drink menu. Nor did she bother to mention it was happy hour or let us know about drink specials and / or food specials. We had no idea until way later and by that time it was too late. Whatever happened to servers introducing themselves, familiarizing you you with the menu and specials and doing some selling? I don't expect this place to last with their lack of attention to service and being friendly. They do a great job with their friends and the industry types I recognize in there but not the general public. They don't seem welcoming at all (with one exception). Any way, I want to like this place but it's not going to last until they really train servers to teat folks well. I wish they had shredded hash browns with breakfast and a list of what's on tap so I could order a beer.

Awesome food and prices! Almost didn't get a seat though! Fun crowd! Great place to watch a game! Plenty of TVs!

  • Colleen J.

nice variety of beer on tap, however both the service and quality of food is marginal.

    (2)
  • Mae T.

they don't have a wide selection of beer on tap, food is ok, good place to watch sports.

  • Bessy J.

Unassuming. Lacking in gimmicks. Top shelf service and food. Nails the particulars and the oft forgotten basics of what makes a bar great.

I really enjoy spending time at The Bridge. The service is always friendly & fast, even when they are super busy. As far as the food goes, I especially enjoy the Twisted Tamale and the Fried Green Tomatoes. I also love the Sunday Brunch. The only downside is that they are almost too crowded in their new location. If you are planning on going on Friday or Saturday night, I recommend making a reservation.

    (4)
  • Carrie S.

My husband and I just moved to the area and were happy to try this place. Nice interior with great service. I had the twisted tamale and it was delicious. I was not in the mood for meat (could pick chicken or pork), and our server gladly accepted my request for sautéed veggies on the masa cake instead of meat. My husband enjoyed his sandwich and fries. We will be back here to watch sports!

    (4)
  • Jessica B.

LOVE the food, and friendly staff/waiters. It's crazy crowded on a Friday night (which makes sense) so if you're in the mood for the bar scene - loud, packed, and busy this is a great spot. I was impressed by the service and response despite what must have been a very busy night for employees there. We'll definitely be going back...perhaps on a different night if we want to have a regular-volume conversation.

Loved it!! Met some friends for drinks and a bite and we were really impressed. I had not been to the old location but definitely got the feeling they upgraded with this move. Great job on the renovations, good food and great atmosphere. Will go back soon.

I got a say this place is pretty hoppin. The bar staff are ninjas behind the bar, very attentive, really quick, proactive, nice and friendly. This IS the best place to go and watch "the game" with everyone in West Seattle. For a bar they rock their kitchen! Happy hour is the bomb. Defiantly one of the top 5 best bars in West Seattle. I kinda wish they had live music there but I don't know how they could pull that off but still, totally worth a visit.

The Bridge is awesome! They have really really delicious food and great happy hour prices. Normally I go there in big groups for happy hour after work and they always are very accommodating, split checks, make more room, reserve tables without some kind of minimum etc. I have never been disappointed at The Bridge.

  • M M.

Five star customer service and ambiance. Three - four stars on food, depends on what you order. The Tres Tacos is a definite winner. The Tamales with BBQ is a little on the sweet side but very tastey. The menu is excellent and I will be back to try other dishes. Good variety of drinks at the bar and good Happy Hour from 3-6.

I had horrible customer service at The Bridge. Our waitress had no clue what was going on and gave me someone else's bill. Save your money and spend it elsewhere.

Sad to say this, but the bridge is in an uncontrollable nose dive. I've been going somewhat regularly since the original location. Lately, they have let things go. The last two times I was served beer in a glass with a chipped rim. The first time I cut my lip, the only consolation was a comp'd beer. The same thing happened last night. This time I still had to pay. I watched as the bartender proceeded to scoop ice with the pint glasses!!!!!! Now I know why I keep experiencing this. I can only imagine how many customers have consumed broken glass!!!! Next is the food. It used to be good. Now it's sloppy, tasteless, and thrown at you, not served to you. Then there's the service. Bartenders, openly giving free drinks to friends, while people are standing waiting for a seat (this went on for at least an hour). Sorry Bridge, I've been with you since you opened, but now I must say goodbye, my cut lip and aching tummy demand it.

Great space. Love the new location just blocks from my house. We went in expecting dinner or at least a bigger menu and discovered it is essentially upscale pub food. For pub food it is better than average. We had the tomatoe bisque which was insanely good, buffalo meatballs (fine but nothing to rave about) chicken caprese sliders (would order again), wedge salad (can one ruin iceberg with blue cheese dressing and bacon?) and a burger. I didn't taste the burger but the honey didn't complain though insanely good burgers are available just 6 blocks away. The fries were meh. I WANTED to like them but they left a greasy film and taste that had me wishing they weren't my last bite. Sadly my vanilla Stoli lemon drop was AWFUL! So much lemon I couldn't taste the vodka. I advise you order beer or something from the menu. Service was friendly when present but never followed up on requests. A better bar tender and service would make this a 4 star pub but menu will always leave it a 3 star restaurant.

I went there on a Sunday to watch the Seahawks play. I am sad to say we played very poorly so thank goodness this place serves great food. The place was packed so get there early if going on a game day. We ended up sharing a booth with 2 other guys also waiting for a seat. They tried to chicken fried steak which they said was amazing. I had the Bridge Bene (eggs Benedict) and it was excellent.

This place is definitely our go-to for an awesome and casual meal -- friendly staff, good food and never a hit to the wallet. Brunch is a must (get the bacon Bloody Mary) and for as plain as eggs, bacon & toast might sound, it's not. Savory, spicy and a perfect portion! For something heavier, try the Chicken Fried Streak! For lunch and dinner, I'm a huge fan of the Caprese Sliders or their Lamb Burger. Tip: Ask for a side of their habanero aioli to dunk the accompanying fries with and for sure check out their new patio!

The food is great, don't get me wrong. The service is awful and has been for a while. The prices are kind of high, and happy hour starts stupid late at 11pm. We tipped the busser last time because he actually did stuff for us more than our server. This time we came in and she stared at us and counted her tips, and then walked out. We had to wait 8 minutes for the batender to come out to our table.

This is a great spot to enjoy the game and catch up with your friends. The food has its appeal, but I wouldn't put it on my list of places to return to. One star is deducted for the drinks I ordered. --Strawberry Fields Forever: (off the specialty cocktails menu) tasted like sprite and marishino flavoring. I kept asking myself "Where is the booze???" It was filled in a tall, beer glass and LOADED with ice. I sucked it down in less than five minutes just to see if I got that usual, boozy headrush....nothing. I'm guessing it was a one ounce pour. For $8, not worth it....unless overpriced sugar water is your thing. --Moscow Mule: this is always my go to when my first selection disappoints me. I figure, people can't mess it up because it's so widely known and basic to make. Meh. There was the equivalent to half a sliced lime in it, as well as too much ice (again) and just lacked any sort of well-made quality. **Food** This is where they shine. --Open Face Empenada (with pork): this is such a GOOD IDEA!!!!!! I found I was savoring every delicious bite and was enough to fill me up but not bloat me out. --Philly Cheesesteak: I felt really sorry for my date because this sandwich was so tiny!!!! The taste was on point, but the portions could use some tweaking. Not enough fillings OR a big enough bun....but the fries were piping hot! --Ice Cream Sandwich: this is big enough to share! We wound up getting one each and by the half-way point, I couldn't finish it. It was very tasty, I wish I had more room in my tummy! **Location** This place is a little easier to get to/find parking than downtown, plus the view, makes for a great spot to feel like your in the city without actually being there. **Service** The host was great getting us a table; very friendly. The food and drinks came out faster than you expect for a friday. But our waitress? Was slow in getting our bill and just seemed panicked most of the time.

Best customer service of any restaurant I've ever visited....consistently. Doesn't matter if it's a packed Friday night, slow Tuesday or I order takeout. Everyone is attentive and friendly....and the food is yummy. My favorites are the Beechers cheese curds and the Bison burger with poached pear...delicious!

We have been to 'The Bridge' three times, and each time we are there we say to each other, 'OMG OMG OMG YUM OMG!' We've only been here so far for brunch, but that alone is worth the 5-star review. The chicken-fried stead is the best either of us have had (and my husband is a chicken-fried-steak-afficianado) The black pepper biscuits are delicious. The coffee is great. The breakfast potatoes are great. The steak hash (with carmelized onions and gorgonzola) is great. So happy to have another fantastic hangout/food option in West Seattle. Don't let the 'sports bar' label throw you off. This is not a place where there are huge screens blaring games so loudly you can't talk (hello, pretty much every other sports bar in the world) The Bridge reminds me of nothing so much as a neighborhood London pub: great food, convivial service, a nice stock of board games and cards (and cribbage boards!) Long live The Bridge!

  • James W.

Super akward locals bar. Great staff. Good but limited draught beer selection. Lot of locals hang here and they are loud and super obnoxious. They yell and whistle at people walking on the street. They yell at each other across the bar. They demand the staffs attention and this is not the atmosphere I was looking for. If you want old prior frat boys trying to relive their college days, go here. Otherwise, find a different spot.

I came here the day after Christmas to have a beer and something to eat with my parents. The ambiance was casual but not divey. I always enjoy going into a bar and seeing "regulars" that everyone knows without feeling out of place myself. The food was well made. The ingredients seemed fresh and clean. They also had a respectable beer menu. The waitress was friendly and attentive. This is definitely a place I'd go to often if I lived in West Seattle and a sign of the continued improvement that the neighborhood has been experiencing over the last decade.

This is a wonderful neighborhood spot. The food is delicious and I love the variety their menu offers. The beers are always ice cold. The staff is what really makes this place amazing. From the first minute you walk in they are friendly and welcoming. They are always prompt and professional. It makes eating here very comfortable.

There's a lot I really love about the Bridge, and it's a typical hangout for my wife and I on Saturdays. The staff is super friendly and attentive. They both hire and staff well, so it's abnormal to see the bar staff overwhelmed. We've always felt welcomed there. They've got a ton of TVs in the place, so if you're looking for a game they've got it. I do wish they'd turn on the volume during games other than the Seahawks, but that's just a little nit to pick. The food is great for a neighborhood pub. My wife and I love the breakfast there. The eggs benedict on biscuits is probably 1 billion calories, but it's worth every last one of them. Delicious. The one thing I really don't like, and this is what costs them the star in my review, is the beer selection. It's relatively limited, and they pour into the short pint glasses (I hate those!) You could do a lot worse for a bit, beer and game on a weekend.

Really hit-or-miss for me. I love literally right across the street, so I've gone here quite a few times. If I didn't live so close, it wouldn't be a place that I would choose to frequent, but it's nice to have a decent place nearby. Breakfast has always been really good. The eggs Benedict is so tasty! There are tons of gluten-free options, plus many at can be made gluten-free. The fries are good.. The bacon-wrapped dates are super tasty if you aren't watching your sugar intake. The cheese curds are surprisingly tasty for seattle (I've lived in the Midwest). And some of the dinner entrees are good, like the stuffed pepper. Decent burgers, too. I did have one of the worst meals I've ever had, though. The peppercorn steak was terrible. It somehow was extremely bland while still obtaining an ungodly strong pepper taste. There was no other flavor but pepper... No salt... Nothing... The au jou sauce tasted like absolutely nothing, and the braised greens had no seasoning either. Except for the blue cheese butter, which was pretty good when I could taste it, the entire plate just tasted like a pile of pepper. It eventually became inedible. I took it home and seasoned it up (using a magical spice known as salt) and it became pretty decent. Also, in their defense, the steak was cooked perfectly. It's the most expensive thing on the menu, so I was expecting better, but DO NOT ORDER THIS. Service is sometimes really good and sometimes kinda meh, but never bad.

These guys helped my cousin put together a Grad party for my Aunt who was receiving her PhD. They custom tailored drinks in her honor and printed fun drink menus with her photo on them. The food was really good bar food, I was pleasantly surprised. And the drinks were not only good, they were cheap! We enjoyed the sorta divey (in a good way) ambiance and the service was good. They made the event very easy on my cousin, and enjoyable for the rest of us.

Great place to watch a sporting event. In the summer, they open the patio which is really nice (and no smoking), you can even bring your doggie there. This evening I had the perfect black bean burger (not spicy) with cheddar cheese and sweet potato fries. They have a good selection on tap as well as full liquor. It's 21+.

A quiet night for sports but had a great time chatting with the bartender as well as a couple locals. Didn't get a chance to try any food but there was a good mix of beers and whiskeys. The Bridge is nicely laid out, clean, and odor free. All pluses in my book.

We came here for drinks and had a pretty decent experience. The service was fine, not especially awesome, but it also didn't suck. The drinks were good and there were tons of TVs everywhere I will be going back here simply to sample what they refer to as a "french fry bar" but what is really just fries with things you want to dip them in or cover them in. Yum? I'll have to wait and see.

The food and service here is great! The wings are a must! And my husband loves the cheese clusters. It's a very convenient location because it's so close to our home. We will definitely be coming back more often.

  • Andrew G.

The service here is pretty good. You are greeted when you walk in the door whether you are recognized or have never been before. The bartenders and servers are nice and will chat with you for a second or two if they aren't busy. Two of my coworkers met me there on a Friday after work. A month later we did the same thing and the bartender Megan remembered what they ordered and asked if that was what they wanted, which was pretty impressive. I myself don't remember what they drink. The place itself is clean and comfortable. There are a ton of TV's and a couple of projectors so watching our Seahawks or Sounders is easy. Their food is really good. Not typical bar food and they've got a nice brunch menu. The parking isn't that great. 5 or 6 spaces in the back and once filled you are looking for a spot on the street. Definitely one of my go-to places to relax after work or watch the game.

I've been here a couple times with a pal, and today with the BF. Three times, the same service and decent food. So there you go. Consistency is a bonus, for sure. Love the "fry bar", they really give a generous serving. The Fried green tomatoes are done with their own twist, and I like the spice factor. Chipotle, it was. Today I tried the house burger. Cooked exactly as I asked, and nicely topped. Also - JUICY. The BF had chicken caesar salad, and it was also a very generous serving. The only thing I'm not keen on so far, is I tried my friend's order of butternut squash. I found it very bland. But it might make a nice healthier side with something else, if you're looking for that. Me, I figure it's a pub. I'm not there for health benefits.

California Avenue keeps putting on a nice outfit every time you see it coming down the hall. You turn around for a few weeks, and it puts on another place that's nicer than what used to be there. The Bridge spruced up its new location when its old location got condo-ized (or something). It's not by the bridge anymore, but many of us still need to cross the bridge to get to it. It's clear that this place would be an awesome spot to watch the game, but I definitely didn't feel dominated by big TVs coming in here mid-summer. maybe they drop projection screens for the Hawks? Dunno. Prolly. What they are, when the game's not on, is a nice place with a central bar flanked by rows of stools, surrounded by lots of tables and booths. It's spacious and comfortable, and seems like it's probably usually pretty busy. The staff are super nice and right on point throughout the meal. Good service, well-times visits, pleasant, funny, good mixed drinks. Well, I can vouch for the beers being good, but I have it on good authority the mixed stuff was good. We had bacon-wrapped dates--pretty awesome. Dates could be even bigger for me, but the dish is great as is. Chicken caprese sliders looked delicious; fries were great. The peppercorn skirt steak was delicious. They do a nice job of giving you a balance between quiet, dim corner watering hole and a nice place you can bring anyone for a drink or a casual meal. Good spot that I will happily visit anytime I'm in the neighborhood.

I reserved a table (on a busy Friday night) for 15-20 guests to celebrate my mom earning her doctorate at UW. Not only did they say this was no problem, they customized drink menus, and made a really big deal when my mom walked in - she felt so special! If you are having a special event, definitely consider having it at The Bridge! We had an awesome time!!

Went on Mon. June 22 @ 5pm to watch the US Women's soccer game. It's unfortunate your bartender (female) has an unpleasant attitude/poor customer facing skills cuz I won't hurry back now but FYI-She should know what there is available to drink (the bartender!) ie-Sea Cider makes different ciders, know that and which one you have, it wasn't a crazy question. AND why we were told "we don't have sound" as opposed to Oh sure, let me check if we can get that on for you (which the male bartender took care of) You clearly HAVE SOUND since it was advertised as the game would be on "with sound" and he turned it on but Again, it wasn't a crazy question, she just needed to do a better job at customer service rather than be abrasive. On a good note....the gorgonzola & bacon fries were AMAZING!

Our new favorite sports bar. Good location, lots of screens, decent food, good beer, very friendly service and a great atmosphere for watching Seahawks games. Surprisingly good Eggs Benedict, good Bloody Mary. Pretty easy local street parking. What's not to love? Update: have been here several times to watch football, and we're increasingly impressed. The food is GOOD... and not just "good for a sports bar". Excellent pork medallions, terrific sausage and biscuits. This place apparently has a chef, not just a cook. And the service is unfailingly efficient and friendly. Lastly, it's a great atmosphere for Hawks games, really charged. Love this place!

I only have good things to say about The Bridge. Since it's a brand new bar, both the inside and outside are gorgeous (and I appreciate their nod to the old bar with the Chuck&Sally's sign inside!). The waitstaff is very friendly and attentive. Their drinks and food are affordable (even after happy hour ends) and SUPER yummy. I highly recommend their Tres Tacos... I had the chicken and it had a nice slightly charred taste without being overcooked or dry. On happy hour they're only $6, and the portion is enough for a meal! I'm so happy to have a place like this in West Seattle.

I liked this place. But let me tell you why it's only 3 stars because it's worth 4 First impression, cool atmosphere, has board games and great place to watch sports. Hopefully our server was just having a bad day because her customer service was terrible. We had to wave her down numerous times to order food, order more drinks, to get the bill. She would just bypass our table constantly. Never checking in with us to make sure food was good, if we needed anything-you know, the way you check in on your customers. She had an irritated look on her face every time we waved her down like we were interrupting her day. When we told her we wanted to order food she seemed surprised. She had no server etiquette. My husband and I spilt an order of fries, HUGE order of fries with the house sauce and rosemary aioli. We don't think we received the correct sauces for one the server didn't mention which was which and never stopped by to make sure everything was ok which would have been another opportunity to figure out which sauce was which. We also split a classic Bridge burger and added a fried egg on top which was really good!! I would recommend this place to others, food was good and cool atmosphere.

Really good bar with a bunch of tv's, table shuffleboard and good times. Service is really good and the staff is friendly. Really good food for a bar. My favorites are the burger and wings! Solid happy hour with many brews on tap and full liquor bar. Solid place to hang out with friends or just get a bite to eat and have a drink. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good bar in west seattle!!

I've been here a few times because it's close to work and the staff is always friendly, good music and a level that is not hard to talk over and a few tv's. They have a good selection of draft beers and a large variety of foods without the menu being too big. My favorite dish is their stuffed poblano pepper and I add chicken to it, for $14 it's filling but not heavy and gluten free. Their burgers are good too. The bartenders/servers go their job well, checking in just enough, and their newest bartender impressed me by doing something very simple, introducing himself, getting my name, and using it. The little things can go a long way. If you haven't been here try it!

Stopped in for a lunch-with-self this afternoon. I ordered the Bridge Burger, and was honestly amazed at how neat it was when it came out. I was able to eat the entire thing without one drip-droppy mess.. The fries were delicious, and the server even whipped me up a small cup of honey mustard. Very great experience. Will definitely be returning!

Good Drinks , Good Food, Good Service! The ambience is a little sporty. They have a full service bar. The staff was friendly and helpful when we asked them about good beer and wine choices. ThE eAts Are awesome! Gourmet style sliders chicken with a nice aioli and fresh mozzarella. Awesome !! awesome !! fries with a ton of dipping sauces to choose from. They have a nice selection of burgers. Also a vegetarian black bean burger. The tacos are great honestly everything I have tried has been spot on ! Not your typical sports bar food fare .

This has become our favorite place to watch the Seahawks and the Zags. But it's not just about the games on TV. The staff makes every visit feel like something special, especially bartenders Megan and Brandon. The food is consistently good. We love the Tres Tacos with steak, the garlic fries and stuffed poblano chilies. Great options for gluten-free and vegetarians, as well. The beer selection is also very acceptable. The Bridge really is a "feel good" place to go to in our community.

This is an awesome place to watch a Seahawks game. There are TV's all around and they bring down two large screens where they project the game. The atmosphere is fun and everyone gets into the game. The food they serve is really good. This past time I ordered the wings and they are now one of my new favorites. I was also forced to order the cheese curds because the name really grossed me out but they were so delicious. They are basically like mozzarella sticks but ten times better. Try these!!! They also come with some tasty dipping sauce. My friend ordered the falafel fries which tasted like a bean patty. My wife and her friend loved them. However, it really wasn't my cup of tea. The Bridge is a great place for a fry connoisseur. They have regular fries, garlic fries, sweet potato fries, and falafel fries equipped with an array of aioli and dipping sauces. Check this place out. We will be coming back for sure!!!

I called to ask if the Packer game was playing since it was on same time as Seahawks. Guy said yeah we got it playing on one screen. Drive over shortly after to find there's not really any seating available. Maybe one bar seat but nothing for two. In short, this is a minor complaint that the staff could have mentioned on the phone the place was pretty packed and you probably won't be able to see that TV. Otherwise place seemed pretty nice.

Wow! We went there for the NFC championship game and the staff blew me away. For how busy they were I'm amazed how well they did. The brunch was on point. It did take sometime to get my bacon Bloody Mary, but that was yo be expected for how busy they were. I'm excited to watch the Seahawks there for the SuperBowl!

Pretty dang good food at reasonable prices. We went in during happy hour and while it was a bit loud, it was still pleasant. The service was a bit on the slower side but not horrible, either. I would definitely come here even if it is not during happy hour.

I'm not much of a sports guy, so I don't typically pick sports bars when we go out to eat - for all I know we'd walk in on a big game night with nowhere to sit. By doing so, I've been missing out on some of the best food I've had in West Seattle. We've had multiple friends tell us that we needed to go try it out for brunch or dinner, so I dropped in for lunch a couple weeks ago and went with their Poblano. Incredible! The bulk of it was a corn and black bean medley in a stuffed pepper, but the sour cream sauce they blend it with is amazing. Pretty sure it was on their summer specials menu so I don't think it's a normal menu item, but absolutely worth it if it's available when you're there. Also, the new location looks awesome. Tons of large windows and they did a great job on the design. It's a big improvement from the old location.

Good food, good beer selection, great happy hour. You would almost be surprised by how tasteful some of the menu items are done. The burgers are great (I don't remember what magazine rated them highly) good sports bar feel but with an upgrade from regular sports bar fare

I love the Bridge, especially for happy hour. Prices and good, and the portions are great! Staff is always friendly and attentive. It's a fun place to watch the Hawks play, and when the games aren't on, the music is excellent. I always joke that someone put my iPod on the speakers. Someone there had good taste in music. ;)

Only one visit and from reading the reviews there seems to be a hit or miss with service. We came for lunch, the place was practically empty. What we liked was the good tunes playing, friendly bartender (we didn't order drinks), and our server was great. Her name was Sarah S on the receipt. She was excellent. I'm on a restricted diet so she made some great suggestions. My lunch was healthy and tasted good. My friends ordered three items and they were definitely not on my eating plan but their food looked great. Will definitely go back.

Pros: good menu (lamb burger, beet salad). tons of TVs. great service. Cons: location is kinda out of the way. would like a larger beer selection.

Had dinner and drinks here a few days ago. I would like to say that it was great but I'm saying OK. They ran out of turkey for a melt sandwich which was recommended by the staff. The Caesar salad needed some acid to give it some punch. Our cocktails were good and the server was really nice and attentive. Hopefully next time we have a better meal then the stars will go up!

Really good brunch. I would suggest the bridge bene, but substitute the sausage gravy for hollandaise. It my new favorite combo.

I don't venture out to West Seattle often since it's a little out of the way, but decided to come here hoping it wouldn't be busy. We came here to watch the World Cup match of USAvGHA and it was pretty crowded by the time we got there. Thankfully, a guy waiting for his buddies allowed for us to share his booth. During the match, we just had a beer. After the glorious win, we decided to treat ourselves. I got a victory burger (as if I need a reason to order a burger) and it came with beer battered fries. I also got some cheese sauce to go with them. The burger wasn't anything special, but it was a well done burger and I opted to add bacon. It was good. The fries were the clincher. Perfectly battered and crispy and soft and potato-y on the inside. Cheddar sauce was good. Not necessary, but glad I tried it. Z got the corn salad and It tasted really fresh and light and summery. Perfect for the day and the weather. And she ordered the fried cheese curds. Can't go wrong with fried cheese. These were extra good- tempura battered and not greasy the way some fried cheese curds come out. And it was served with a pepper jelly. Yum. I love pepper jelly, all you need to do is throw on some cream cheese and put on crackers... Overall, the atmosphere was fun, our server was super nice and the food was tasty. If you want to venture out to West Seattle for good bar food, don't pass this place up!

The first time I was there it was awesome ! This was after they first opened.. The last time I went there the food was very subpar.. It was like they switched to cheaper ingredients. The drinks for more watered down and much more overpriced. Haven't been back since.

My only complaint are the crazy guys who get drunk and loud haha but overall I love the food here. Love the way they manage their events. The staff have always been so friendly and good at their jobs. I appreciate the lay out and though I miss the old place I love this bar and what you guys have done with it. Best late night snack/happy hour in town too.

As a neighbor of this bar I've been here a number of time since its moved to this location. Frankly the service has always been a tad slow but they usually make up for it in great food and drinks. Today however we sat for ten minutes or so before having to ask for service. Our server came and took our drink order but ran off before we finished ordering a food item. He promptly returned with our drinks and asked if we'd like food which we ordered. After a bit of time our food arrived but was incorrect, when asked how it was we mentioned that wasn't what we'd ordered. After some time the correct item was brought out but by then we were done with the rest of the meal and ready to leave. We asked for the check only to discover we were billed for both items even though we didn't order the first and the second took a long time to get. They've lost me as a customer.

Update: this place is so chill, I felt guilty rating it only as a 4 star.... This is a dope little bar with amazing food. At first glance, in my opinion, it looks like a divey ass place but the service and food are far, far beyond that.... Instead of your typical greasy bar food, this place has all kinds of aioli for their gourmet fries (garlic, sweet potato, etc), exotic salads, unique sliders, etc. The bartenders/servers are very accommodating too. I just wish it had pool tables and maybe a chess set, then it would be "as good as it gets".

The Bridge is a great place to watch a game. Their new place on California is way better than the old one! They had the wonderful opportunity to update an old, shuttered bar and make it their own. There are booths, tables & chairs, and bar seating - a little something for everyone! There are plenty of TVs (big and huge) to watch your favorite games. They have strong drinks, a great beer selection, and really yummy food. The service is friendly and attentive as well. My only complaint is that when sitting in a booth during an important game (like a Seahawks game), people have a tendency to stand in front of the booths and watch the game. This means that you either have to basically stand up in the booth or ask people to move out of the way, which can be difficult for reasons like not anywhere else to stand or a**holes not caring if you can see or not. Other than that, a great addition to the Morgan Junction!

Stopped in for a drink and fires, nothing special. The beer was cold and the fries were something well short of special. We ordered the garlic fries expecting something great and they were NOT. Our server was in training; her trainer was awkwardly standing behind her. It took 5 min for my beer, 10 for the fires and we left shortly after. Might try it again for a game but not in a hurry to get back. The gyro spot across the street is much better!

there brunch potatoes are the SALTIEST potatoes I've evere had. Season salt is to be sprinkled, but definitely not a coating on potatoes. I'm not exaggerating. The potatoes are orange because of the season salt. Also, I got food poisoning here. never again.

Let me begin by saying this place is fantastic! I absolutely love coming here! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is very laid back and relaxed, but what stands out most is how great the customer service is. I was having dinner and drinks with my girlfriends the other night and our waiter/bartender, Tim, was amazing. He was very friendly and outgoing (and cute), it's people like him that make these places so welcoming and fun. It's a great place to come with your friends any day of the week.

This place ROCKS! I am sorry but I LOVED the "old" Bridge...everything about it. The people, the food, the drinks, the outdoor patio, Seahawk Sunday but this place is amazing. You would NEVER know it was the old Chuck & Sally's. Simply amazing. Cannot wait for the huge outdoor patio to open *fingers crossed* this spring? Congrats to "The Bridge" so doing what they do, and so well!

It's still an excellent Sports Bar but with more food options, a larger full bar, a better Happy Hour menu and HD big-screens everywhere. I've been to the new location twice and both times we sat at the bar. We watched the Dawgs hand it to BYU for the Fight Hunger Bowl. I seriously doubt that you could find a seat without a good view of whatever game is on with all the big-screens in the house. For this Husky bowl game, most tables were reserved with only the bar and bar table available for walk-ins. I could hear several people complaining about a sports bar with reservations suggesting a first-come basis on game day. We were walk-ins and found seats at the bar and got excellent service all night so no problems here. Our food was good both times and it didn't take long to get it ordered and in front of us. It's the first time I've seen GF and GFO all over a sports pub menu (gluten free and gluten free option). The burger and fries were great and I hear the Twisted Tamale thing was pretty good too. I wasn't watching my gluten intake.
