Made a reservation for a Thursday night to celebrate our 10th anniversary. I understand it is first come first serve for tables with a view, but we were seated at the 2nd worst table with a "view". A table was seated next to us with fighting kids (not the restaurants fault), how romantic. Another table was seated behind us. Those two tables were greeted immediately...while we sat unattended to. Apparently each server thought the other one "had us". I was not overly excited with the starter options. As the restaurant became busier we were attended to less and less while some of the other folks were attended to with stellar service. The light up menus are a fantastic idea. I had the Filet Mignon and was president of the clean plate club. It was fantastic and cooked to absolute perfection. My husband had the strip and it was a bizarre cut which seemed to make it tough\chewy for a medium cooked steak. The crab and shrimp cake: the sauce was divine but the cake itself seemed like more of a souffle. I wish it would have been a better experience.

Ate in the lounge. Initial Service was a little slow, but ambiance was awesome. Views of the ferries as the sun set were really relaxing. Good adult conversation area. Sliders a 5, I want to know where they get their rye buns, and asparagus tempura a 4. Excellent Malbec. Not quite a five but I will be back very soon

Love love love this place! The happy hour is great, the location is great, the service is great, the food is EXCEPTIONAL! Hands down best clam chowder I have ever had. I love this place and tell EVERYONE they have to come here! If you haven't been, you should definitely come and try it out.

The location and ambiance is great, and from the start, I really wanted to like this place.. but it fell short. Let me start with the positive. The crab cake here was the best crab cake I have ever had in my life. The texture, flavors, presentation, all mesh together to create something remarkable. As an appetizer, it made my stomach tremble for the next course! After about 30-35 minutes, our main course arrived. Yes, it took its sweet ass time to get here, but it was my girlfriend's birthday so we were enjoying ourselves with the accompaniment of wine. She ordered the salmon, and my choice was the halibut. The entrees came out lukewarm, if not cold. They were probably sitting there under the food lamps for a good 20 minutes. I really should of sent it back, but we really didn't want to wait any longer. The salmon was dry and a bit salty. The halibut dish was exquisite, but cold. Whyyyy?! This is a fairly expensive restaurant, and I am disappointed with the execution. Overall, I would come back just for the crab cakes. Maybe i'll give Six Seven a go one more time in the future.

Ate here after staying a couple nights in the Edgewater Hotel. We were disappointed actually, especially after checking out reviews here on Yelp. The view is awesome, being right on the Bay, and we loved the decor and atmosphere. But, it took quite a long time for our breakfast to arrive. Like 30 minutes I'd say. Then when it came, it was a little cold. I had the Washington Apple Pancakes with 'pine nuts.' I put that in quotations because I expected the nuts to be baked into the batter, but there were about 7 on top. I know they're spendy, but they would taste so much better baked inside the cakes! And, there were only like 3-4 small pancakes. I was expecting a little more for $12 for pancakes.

Six Seven has it all going for it! Fabulous food, wonderful ambience, backed up by an incredible seat right to Elliott Bay to watch the boats and sunset. Not to mention a great team! Miss Lara was as attentive to our needs and kind as always, helped by her team Fernando and Hicham. And the welcome and care from Domingue at the door made us feel like we were coming home. Don't miss this restaurant in the Edgewater Hotel on your visit to Seattle. But call for reservations because it is a favorite of us locals!!

I have lived in Seattle nearly 3 years and have known about this place, but have never checked it out until the end of this summer. I don't know if maybe I was always hesitant because it's a restaurant inside of a hotel (even though it is a very upscale hotel), but what a shame I hadn't been coming here sooner because it's a hit. My boyfriend and I came here for dinner at the end of summer and got a nice table out on the deck, right above the water. It was actually a little chilly that night and I was worried as I didn't bring anything but a light sweater so I thought it was a nice touch that they have heating lamps built into the overhangs out on the deck. Dinner itself was good, the drink service was a little slow and the server informed us that this was because they only had 1 bartender for the entire bar and restaurant. Other than that, everything was great. Since then, I've been back a handful of times for happy hour. The bar is really something else. They have tables along the window with great comfy couches that literally place you right on the water. In the summertime the windows open up and it's just a spectacular view and atmosphere. The drink specials are great as well as the food. $5 for a generous serving of fish and chips? That's cheaper than ivars or a fast food restaurant. From what I've experienced the food comes out very quickly and I've never had a problem on the bar side with slow service.

Came here on my last biz trip to Seattle...mostly for the views -- did not disappoint! Had a great night overall, made even moreso by Bri, our totally fun & professional server...honestly, coming from NY, i have pretty high service standards and this chick totally rocked it. Probably would have given this a 5, except the total grossness of "prawn corndogs" -- also, wondering whose signature is behind their signature cocktails, Drabby McBlanderson?

One of the greatest happy hours in the AREA! The food prices are OUTSTANDING, and their drink selections are great! I had the Pineapple Infused Martini. The vodka is house infused - it's strong, and it's SO TASTY. Every time we go we order the Mussels and Blackberry Hot Wings. The wings are SO unique, and no dipping sauce required! They have spice, but then the great blackberry flavor - a MUST try! Both sliders are tasty as well, and have wonderful thin crispy fries. It's always pretty busy, and we have yet to snag a table against the window. Last time we went it was really busy, but the server more or less found room for us at the middle bar top, and was very attentive and always around. She was probably slammed, but it didn't show in her voice, attitude, or presence. Forget her name, but all the servers have always been super friendly!

My husband and I had our anniversary dinner here earlier this month, and it was fantastic. The service was fabulous. Everyone from the bartender, to the nice gentleman that brought me my tea, to our server, was just fabulous. They treated us like royalty, which is really nice on your anniversary! :) We started with the risotto and the crab cake. The risotto was delicious (but a bit on the salty side, and I love salt)...the crab cake was the best we've had. We almost ordered more crab cakes as our entrees! Definitely get the crab cake! For dinner my hubby had the filet, and I had the pork shoulder. Both were incredible in flavor and the cook was perfect on each. We didn't order dessert because we were too full of awesome food. :) Also, we sat out on the patio during sunset, which enhanced the whole experience. Who doesn't like a good Seattle sunset over the water? All in all, a perfect night! I can't wait to go back.

This restaurant/bar has one of the best views you can get in Seattle. it is a very nice place to grab a drink after work, relax, and grab some food. I always enjoyed coming here, and will remain one of my favorite places to go, just for the view. That said, the service and food here do not meet expectations. They never have. Once I ordered asparagus fries, and to date, I remember it being one of the most overpriced mediocre food I've ever had in my life. It was a greasy oily disgusting mess. My most recent visit- last Saturday- I was again disappointed by the awful service (way worse than usual, which wasn't good to start with). The waitress was the most awful, and inexperienced I have ever had....EVER. She had annoying attitude (no friendly greeting, a lot of rolling eyeballs, and attitude, attitude, attitude.), and despite there not being that many guests, every order took like for--ever to be fulfilled. To make matters worse, she took away my plates when I was clearly still working on the food, and she never apologized for the beer orders and bill that took more than 10 minutes (each) to be brought out. I've never been more disappointed by this place..after feeling like I've just waited all day to be served by incompetent staff. I cannot say if this was an anomaly and I had a particularly unfortunate experience there. However, my impression at the end of this day---- they really need to train their employees. Urgently.

Located on Puget Sound in the Edge water Hotel it is a Seattle must . Great water views. Atmosphere 80 Modern NW mo tiff. Service 70 Just passes. Housewife effort. Food 80 Good Seattle fare Value 80 Considering all, there is value here. Northwest seafood combined with dynamic water views make this eatery a worthwhile effort.

Being treated at a fancy place usually causes me to suspend all my worries and just enjoy. After all, someone else is picking up the tab. The setting at Six Seven is just beautiful, from the water view overlooking the Olympic Range, to the stylish dining room with that modern, swank, fancy hotel feel to it. In terms of the brunch, it was the expensive, all-you-can-eat variety. You know the type. (I should say up front, I am not a fan of a buffet breakfast. Food under warmers is fine at Whole Foods, but in general, its not a great idea for breakfast.) Despite the head turning views, the brunch service experience was just okay. The food was about what you'd expect at the above average hotel dining room. Nothing terrible, but this is definitely not a foodie destination for breakfast. If you like a generous breakfast buffet with lots of choices, lots of food warmers, and you think you can eat the three entrees worth of food, then by all means! (The buffet here costs about 3x the price of a breakfast entree at any great breakfast spot in Seattle.) Of coarse, its probably the view you are really paying for. For me, since I'd be picking up the tab myself next time, I'll skip breakfast. I may try back during happy hour to stare out at the gorgeous view, but for an otherwise average barely three star breakfast? No thanks. Save your warmers for the next girl.

Came here for brunch with my bf last weekend. The hostess sat us down at a table right by the water, which has an amazing view. We ordered the egg benedict and the croque madame; both taste pretty good except the eggs in the benny were overcooked :( At this price point, I would expect the food to be of higher standard. But the ambience, service and decor is all 5-star so it averages out to be 4 stars. I would like to come back for a romantic dinner :)

Great brunch, great views, great service! Started with their granola - perfect combination of fruit, granola and yogurt! Followed it with the Crab and Spinach Benedict - very, very good with lots of crab! Had to finish with a very good Apple Tart dessert and a mimosa....yep, I'm good for the day! My wife had the Croque Madam which was a very large serving - but delicious as well!!! Really enjoyed Six Seven!!!!

I've been here a couple of times, mostly for work functions and while the view is nice, I'm just not impressed with the food. Once my steak was undercooked and another time it was well done. The server was not happy I said anything warning me it would be a while for another one. I didn't want to disrupt the group meal so I just choked it down. Others in the group commented later that they felt it was overpriced for the quality and would never go on their own. I have to agree. On a sunny day I'll have a few drinks here then head to Elliot's

Some of the most stunning waterfront views in Seattle. Excellent seafood - enjoyed the best swordfish I've ever had here, well-paired with toasted pasta, garnet yams, bitter greens, celeriac, served on top of cauliflower puree dressed with balsamic jus and roasted tomato creme fraiche. Kitchen unfortunately ran out of the pecan-crusted diver scallops. Gorgeous Pacific NW decor, great form + function, silver tree branches designed as pillars integrated in the dining room. Beautiful lounge area w/fireplace. Will return for happy hour Sun-Thurs 3-6p featuring $6 drinks, $5 apps, $6 wine, $3.75 drafts.

This place probably surpasses the A-OK category by more than a bit, but I'm sticking to my guns since our experience took probably TWICE as long as it should have. To sum it up...this is the drawback to being close to thirty while continuing to look like you're seventeen: you get treated like you don't belong with the adults! 20 minutes to take our drink order, another 20 to take our food order, and about 45 minutes after that to get our food. Our water glasses remained low/empty for most of the meal, and when my husband asked for another beer we had to remind the waiter when he returned about 15 minutes later. Total WTF status! And as we sat waiting for much of the evening, we noticed our waiter rushing back and forth to the tables full of older adults around us without glancing our way. When we finally got our food I think he could tell we were annoyed...he began to apologize profusely and checked in frequently for what was left of our meal. Too little too late?? Probs... There were good parts, however. The restaurant itself is large and beautiful and rustic, right on the waterfront. It was hopping that Saturday night...seemed like the place to be. We were seated at an amazing cozy booth facing the fireplace and we loved that. And the dungeness crab and shrimp cake appetizer was deeeeelish...amazing with creamy lemongrass aoili and tomato jam! LOVED. My cedar plank salmon and veggies was awesome too...tad on the salty side though. My husband ordered the chicken which came with tomatoes and these (holy shit) fried gorgonzola dumplings that I couldn't stop stealing. He said his was a bit salty too. Maybe we were just extra sensitive b/c of the no water...ahem... We forwent dessert so we could make it to the Space Needle before closing...so yeah that was unfortunate. Overall a good, albeit slightly frustrating, experience! I would come back (cough...dungeness crab...cough), though maybe not on a busy Saturday night again.

Stayed at the hotel with no expectations but the lounge was definitely our favourite part. Friday night live entertainment was amazing, very talented singer and band. View cannot be beat and drinks are well done. We also stopped in for brunch before we left, staff are the friendliest we've encountered on this trip. Will be back!

Great food! One night at dinner I had the filet minion and some amazing spinach. On one other night I had King Crab legs. At breakfast I had a delicious tall stack of buttermilk pancakes. So, prices are a bit steep, you will have to decide if it is worth it. I get down right pissed off if I have to pay for bad food--be it a $2.00 taco or a $55.00 filet minion. I was NOT pissed off after eating hear.

Amazing! the food was amazing, the server was amazing, even the bussers were eager to help. The chef has it dialed in, had one of the most amazing salmon dinner's of my life. Wish I could remember the server's name, she did a great job! Pat on the back to who ever does the hiring here. Really can't say a bad thing about this place...even the host was a doll!

Six Seven has a beautiful atmosphere with columns designed to look like trees with branches reaching up to the ceiling, cushy posh settees which serve as benches at booth tables, trendy chandeliers, and of course views of Elliott Bay. However, the food we ordered for dinner was horrible. I had been here several times before for happy hour after work and always enjoyed my food. However, the dinner entrees are way overpriced and way under-delivered. I ordered the full order of diver scallops and my bf ordered the salmon. What I received were four soggy, extra salty scallops. They were not seared at all. No flavor other than a lot of salt. And the cauliflower served three different ways as a side? Ick. The salmon was bland and dry. We did order the lobster mac and cheese as an appetizer, and that was pretty good. PROS: 1. Great ambiance 2. Great view 3. Great service CONS: 1. Expensive dinner entrees 2. Crappy food (unless you order off the happy hour menu) 3. Watered down drinks I would only recommend this place for happy hour. Otherwise, stray very far away.

Saw this place in Philly magazine so took my Mom there for her birthday...Bad service and food was not good very disappointing... The reason 2 stars was the tempura asparagus appetizer was good as well as the clam chowder, everything else was poor.

Their 4 for $40 menu is awesome. Regular portions, great choices, and amazing value Started with mussels, then pear and arugula salad, then Marlin, then panna cotta. Wifey had Squash soup with Duck, pear and arugula salad, cedar plank salmon, then Pecan Pie with Bourbon Caramel sauce. Celebrated the anniversary there this weekend with wifey and we were blown away by how good everything was. Our server Matt was on point- knew the menu well and made some great recommendations. Exec Chef John came out to chat with us and make sure everything was awesome. I am a huge fan. This is by far the best "restaurant in a hotel" I have ever been to. If I could give it 6 stars I would.

  • Kristy L.

Beautiful view, but the food was sub-par. When I dined here, my steak was way over-salted. When I asked them to bring me another, all they did was scrape off the salt, cut off the outside of the steak, and cook the same piece again, so when I got it, not only was it a smaller piece, but it was dry inside! In the end, I ordered the fish, which was on point. Lesson learned - no more steak here. Either way, it wasn't what I expected, so I probably will not be back.

I'm conflicted about this review. I would give Six Seven 3 stars based off of my last experience there, but based on multiple experiences, it would definitely deserve 4 or 5 stars. Happy hour is a great idea here. The view is great, decor interesting, and the food is definitely good. The mussels are fantastic! Full of flavor and plentiful. The salumi plate was yummy, the bread is chewy and there were a few different types of meat. They also offer happy hour drink specials. Overall, good place for happy hour. I haven't been here for dinner, but I just might. Good happy hour food usually means good food overall. The reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars? The last time I went, service killed the mood. Don't get me wrong, service was great at first, but something came up and our table had to leave immediately. I went up to apologize and tell the waitress to cancel the last drink and fry order as we had to leave unexpectedly and her attitude immediately became dismissive and even rude (body language). Our original bill had already been taken care of and the last drink and fry order had just been ordered 2 minutes prior. At least I had the decency to let her know we needed to go instead of just getting up and leaving. You would think she would at least have the decency to understand that sometimes things come up. We didn't want to leave so suddenly, but the way she reacted seemed as if she thought we meant to do it. However, service has been great all the other times I've been there, so I will be back...but I hope it won't be the same waitress.

Fabulous atmosphere great friendly staff and incredible views!! Cute cozy couches by the windows literally on the water But...Ok so I'm a sucker for technology and as I just passed my 51st bday I'm in love with the LIGHT UP MENUS in the lounge! They have a backlight similar to an iPad that lights up when you open them...so you can actually read the menu in the dark cozy lounge!

Kicked off Seattle Restaurant Week with a dinner at Six Seven. Restaurant Week lets us visit places that we normally wouldn't visit, so we decided to see what they were all about. The two of us we equally unimpressed with our food. The salmon was fishy, overcooked and puny. The pork shoulder was fatty to the point of being mostly inedible. Desert was on par with the dollar menu at McDonald's. If the food were this bad at full price, it would have been even worse. A few random notes... the view earns a star. Can't really complain about that. The average patron here had to be 70 years old. Not really a place for the younger crowd.

Outstanding taste and visual presentation with friendly service. Recommend the BLT salad and planked salmon. Waitress poured big wine portions at the table. Get there just before sunset for a great view.

We just had our anniversary dinner. Can't say enough positive. Friendly greeting. Amazing view. Perfect service (thank you Blane). And wonderful food. The simple salmon was perfectly, I mean perfectly, seasoned and cooked. The salads and all the vegetables were excellent. The wine list was very good. Most significantly our waiter was glad to make every adjustment to the dishes we ordered without hesitation. Again, really excellent service. A very nice surprise for a place we haven't been to in many years.

For a hotel restaurant I am very very impressed and pleased. The ambiance is amazing, the bartenders and waitstaff are so wonderful and the menu is really unique. I dined here 2 times in a short trip because there were too many things i wanted to try and I couldn't try them all in one sitting. The happy hour is a great deal but the menu at other times is really not bad price wise for a hotel restaurant. Watching the sunset out the windows is incredible. Great drinks and really good appetizers. I really liked the fried asparagus and I am not a big fried food person. The pineapple infused vodka was delicious and the wine selection was good too. I actually had such a great experience at the restaurant that I changed my hotel for the second night of my trip and stayed here.

Nice setting, but way overpriced and poor service. I was meeting several friends in the lounge area. I ordered one plain, small Red Bull. I waited 30 minutes before reminding the waitress about my order. The total for one small can of Red Bull before tax and tip: $10. The time it took someone to open and serve it: 45 minutes.

You can't beat this spot for a nice meal or just drinks (we opted for just drinks). You won't find a better view from any other restaurant in Seattle. Sitting next to the windows, you'll look down into the water, feeling like you're on a cruise ship. Can't beat the ambiance. I can't comment on the food; I just enjoyed the booze.

Its a hit again!!! Aside from the spectacular view looking out towards the Sound, the food is always great. I have to say that the clam chowder is the best in Seattle, and we have been to Seattle many times. This time we had a new added treat our server Ali B. was delightful! Stop by tell her we sent you and have her make you the best latte, you wont be sorry. Smiling and very charming, we love her. See you all soon. Nancy from Spokane.

Awesome place to go for happy hour in the summer, they open the windows/doors and you feel as if you're floating right on top of the ocean. My absolute favorite dish is the lobster mac and cheese. The pasta is perfectly cooked al dente, the cheese is lusciously creamy and the lobster meat is fresh and plentiful. The other dishes were also delicious, but as you can tell, the lobster mac and cheese is THE BEST!!

We were very excited to try Six Seven based on the reviews here, but overall it was pretty... meh. Highlights: - Food was well-prepared. My husband had rack of lamb, which was perfectly done, and I had scallops, also perfectly done. - Unique atmosphere. It's a little Mad Men-esque, but there's a great contrast between a sort of industrial metal and woodsy cabin in the decor. There were also some "delighters," like light-up menus. - Great service. Our server was really attentive and gave great recommendations. - Appeared to be family-friendly for such a nice restaurant. There were several tables with kids, and the older kids really seemed to get a kick out of the place. Lowlights: - The water view isn't much after dark, so keep that in mind when making reservations. We saw a few boats, but this is clearly a spot that would be better during a bright summer afternoon. - Valet parking only. This is personal preference, but I hate using valet and there was no other option if we wanted to park at the Edgewater. However, there are ramps down the road a bit, and we got lucky and found a spot on the street. - The prices were way out of line with most of the serving sizes--and serving sizes were weirdly inconsistent. My beet salad was oddly small, which is fine since it was a starter, but my husband got a huge bowl of mussels for his starter, and it came with sauce and bread. The rack of lamb was larger than expected and came with a pile of veggies and gnocci, but the full order of scallops came with a measly 4 scallops and a smear of veggies as the "side." We also shared a crock of the lobster mac-and-cheese, which was very rich and way overpriced for about 10 bites. - Someone else mentioned hearing only the bass of the music, and I can confirm the bass was most of what I heard, too. The background noise here was actually a little louder than I expected; the acoustics are not great. There are lots of spendy restaurants in this city where you could have a better experience. I wouldn't fight it if I were invited back here, but I won't put it on my "must have" list in the future.

After a wonderful visit just a month ago, I came back here for a business meal and was disappointed by the Host's (Edward) willingness to open tables for no show patrons. Just a poor allocation of tables. If I were the manager, I would be frustrated with Edward's allocations of tables and the alienation of customers -- especially those used to coming with clients on an expense account. Quote of the evening from the host, "Sir, I know how many tables I have". As we watched four tables of eight (along the windows) sit empty from the bar....we left after thirty minutes and went to the Metropolitan Grill.

Consistently great food, great service, excellent atmosphere and reliable. I went over the weekend with a small group and we all enjoyed our dinners. The ingredients taste very fresh and most are local (as described on menu and by waitress). My wife and I had a special seafood option, both were great. Our main course came out a bit slow, apparently our ticket got lost in the shuffle. The manager came out, apologized, brought a free dish and covered a round of drinks. The only reason Six Seven gets 4 stars rather than 5 is because I believe Six Seven to be on the top tier of restaurants, and compared to other (in price range), it's not the best. But it's great, and I will go again and I recommend it to others.

Six Seven is one of those restaurants I figured would have lackluster food, but be frequented and raved about by Midwest out-of-towners in awe of the Puget Sound view. Yes, the view is fantastic, but as a Seattleite, I guess I take it for granted as I see it almost every day. Views aside, the atmosphere is a mix of Northwest tree hugger meets urban artist without being at all stuffy. The menu offers an array of tempting Northwest delights including the Dungeness crab, halibut and of course salmon. The Forager Mushroom Ragout side is a mushroom lovers paradise, bursting with earthy fungi and herbs in a buttery sauce. While eating this dish, I was tempted to quit my job and become a full time mushroom forager for the sole purpose of recreating this dish. It was that good. I tried the lobster mac and cheese side my colleague ordered and don't get me wrong, it was good as its a mix of three sinful ingredients, but I'm a little burnt out on the fancy mac and cheese trend. Maybe high class green bean casserole or elegant Jello salads will be the next big thing in fine dining. Okay, back to the food at hand, entrees are separated into two categories, the first includes a fully composed meal with sides, while the other option is just the entree, allowing diners to select their own sides. I selected the seared scallops which were perfectly browned in butter and creamy and sweet on the inside. The scallops were served with leeks, mushrooms, refreshing watercress and tender lentils. I finished the meal with lavender honey creme brulee that was carmelly without being cloyingly sweet and had a delicate floral finish reminiscent of herbal tea. Adding to the terrific food and ambiance, our server for the night was absolutely delightful as she joked with our group, but always kept things classy. This was truly one of the best meals I've experienced in a while, putting Six Seven on my list of Seattle restaurants to frequent.

    I came here with my mother for dinner one time, not knowing what to expect because this was our very first time here. I actually don't usually come to these sort of super fancy and expensive restaurants. At the same time, I was curious because my older, working church friends had been raving about it. The way meals work here is by a set of different courses. Each meal starts out with bread, salad, then appetizer (we had soup), entree, palate cleanser and finally, desert. I can't recall EXACTLY what we ordered, but I do remember some. The bread, as I can remember was nothing particularly special. For salad, I had a beet salad, while my mother had a simple green salad with endives. My beet salad was amazing! With pecans, and a simple vinagrette. My mother's salad was good too. For soup, I had a butternut squash soup, which I adored! My mother ordered the same thing. Entrees, my mother had fish I think. I had chicken breast I believe. Both were exceptional, but I wasn't as blown away as the previous courses. Dessert was divine. Chocolate cake and creme brulee! I wouldn't be rushing to come back here because of its priciness, but it is definitely worth coming to for a special night with a special someone! OR just your own mother. (;

We went to 6/7 for a birthday dinner during a recent trip to Seattle and it was a great experience. They were able to get our group a table by the water as we requested and the service was in line with what you would expect from such a beautiful location. We had their lobster mac and cheese and it was absolutely wonderful as was the New York steak, I ordered, the Sea Bass my wife's ordered, and all the other dishes that arrived. The drinks were tasty, the service was good, and the atmosphere was a visual treat as well. Be prepared to part with a fair amount of your cash or allow your American Express to do battle for you but if you are in need of a lovely location to have a meal and make it special I don't think you will go wrong.

My daughter and I were staying at the Edgewater and we decided to have dinner at Six Seven last night. It was wonderful. What a neat restaurant! The decor is pleasantly unique. The table that we sat at had small couches to sit on. It's hard to describe. They're wider than chairs, but not the same size as a love seat. There are pillows on the side and one might think that you would sit too low when at the table, but the height was perfect. It was very comfortable. The lighting in the restaurant is low, but the lamps at the table provide just the right amount of light. With regard to the decor - you'll see "trees" when you walk in. It's neat: they've taken branches from trees and inserted metal ... joints (?) and these trees contribute to the distinctive look. Lastly, we've had experiences where we've been uncomfortably cold when seated by a window. Temperature was perfect. I ordered the pesto halibut (but they only had cod and that was just fine) and a side of asparagus. The cod was perfectly done and seasoned just right. The pearl onions made an awesome combination. The asparagus was steamed nicely, too! In my experience, it's rare to get asparagus that's done al dente. However, my asparagus had no seasoning at all - and perhaps I didn't correctly specify when I ordered it. I thought it would be roasted with olive oil and sea salt, but it was plain. My daughter got the short rib roast, and she enjoyed it very much. She LOVED the potato puree. She's very picky, so that speaks volumes! The portion for both of us was just right. It may seem small to some, even when you order a half-portion, but I prefer a meal where the portion is not too big. I suppose it's kind of like when you order food in France - the portions are small - fresher and lighter portions - designed for you to enjoy the food and so you don't leave feeling too full. As far as service goes, every encounter was great. The hostess was amiable and polite, and she seated us promptly by a window. Our server, Matt, was incredibly polite and timed our dinner very well. He wanted to ensure we were happy, and I appreciate that very much. He was great. The only criticism I have relating to our dinner it that it would've been nice if he'd clarified if I wanted it only steamed, or if I wanted the "Along Side" asparagus. I must complain about the Raspberry Lemon Drop I ordered. It wasn't very raspberry-y at all. This is a drink that's not too hard to make, so I was surprised. It was too sweet - I think it was made with lemonade rather than fresh lemon juice. It was also way too expensive - $12 each. It seems to me that, for that price, I should get a perfectly crafted cocktail. I should've sent it back... Something I'm still learning how to do! All in all, this was a very pleasant experience, and we'll certainly go back!

Having lived a few blocks, from here, I frequented often and have lots of tips: EARLY EVENING LOUNGE: outstanding happy hour menu, the food is terrific and features traditional fare (hamburger sliders) and the more unusual (Sockeye salmon empenadas) The space is swank with an edgy northwest twist. The music is soothing techno and you can meet and a great cross section of people at the bar, typically travellers, vacationers in the summer, business people and Belltown snooties. As the only downtown Seattle hotel on the water, you can't better views as you are OVER the sound and can watch ferries, planes, ships and gulls in the ir element, all over a beautiful sunset glistening off the wave tops ...eventually the sun settles behind the Olympics and its time for the room to get going... MID AND LATE EVENING LOUNGE: The music steps up, not danceable, just livelier . A sexy fireplace compliments the waves of upscale hotties. If I were a single chick, this would be a good pace to meet more quality guys who own pants that aren't denim or Dockers. SUNDAY BRUNCH: A bit pricey but my favorite in town. Top quality and lots of seafood. Its not an enormous brunch, but it all top flight! Really great! DINNER: Very pricey, but very good. I've never been disappointed and the service is always top shelf!

Paid too much for what I had. Had the steak with a side of a baked potato and another entree of scallops. The steak was too salty and it was overcooked for what I had asked for. I'm not the type to complain and have my meal taken back so I ate what I could and could not even finish because I could not bear the saltiness. Not worth the money. However, good drinks.

You can't beat the beautiful view here! It literally looks out over the water and towards the Cascade Mountains. The food is fabulous too! My coworkers took me here for lunch for my birthday. We each ordered the bento box for our entree which you get to pick your soup, salad and half sandwich. We each loved ours! The service was quick even though the restaurant was pretty busy for lunch. I will definitely go back!

Great happy hour. I lover their Tiger Prawn corndogs and their pineapple martini. Get there early to get a seat for happy hour on a sunny day. This is one of the best happy hours in Seattle when it's nice out, worth leaving work early!

I am giving them 5 stars based on the happy hour only. I had the homemade pineapple infusion martini ($6), and he got the pomegranate cosmo ($6). The two of us shared the penn cove mussels ($5). I don't like alcohol much but decided to give it a go since they use fresh pineapple juice with the vodka. The bf liked his cocktail as well. We were both really surprised at the generous amount of mussels they gave us. There were about 30 mussels for us to indulge on, such a bargain at $5 if you ask me! The view was impeccable as we practically sat above the water on a beautiful, sunny afternoon. Happy hour is Sunday through Thursday from 3pm-6pm. Try it out if you're staying at the Edgewater, you won't be disappointed!

On a quick pre-New Year's trip to Seattle, my husband and I decided to stay at the Edgewater hotel for a bit of a treat to ourselves. After having spent the day out in town we decided to just stay in and have dinner in the hotel restaurant, Six-Seven, and I'm so glad we did. We started off with drinks we had discovered in the lounge while waiting for our reservation and stuck with them the rest of the time...they were inventive and delicious. We started off with a pear and greens salad with a balsamic vinaigrette at the suggestion of our server, Matt. It was wonderful. All too often the starters and salads are basic, uninspired. But the salad was such a wonderful surprise of complex flavors. For dinner, I ended up choosing the cedar plank salmon...cooked to perfection. Just the right amount of crispy glaze on the outside and still tender and moist on the inside. The sauce and local veg that accompanied were really superb. Looking forward to our next Seattle trip and dinner at Six-Seven!

I hosted a large surprise breakfast for my friend at Six Seven today and it was a wonderful experience. We had a party of 15 on a Friday morning. The service, the food, the view, the valet parking were all impeccable and we had a great experience. As soon as the first person arrived they set up a coffee carafe and cream and as the table filled up, they added more carafes of coffee (one for every 4 people). The service was attentive but discreet. I loved it. You barely noticed the server refilling the coffee, water, taking orders. They were very professional. Everyone's food came beautifully presented, proper temperature, well timed. No one was left waiting while other people had plates. The menu prices were very reasonable for the level or service and atmosphere. There were sides priced from $5 and up and $3 for an organic egg. Main dishes ranged from $12 to $16 or so. The menu was heavy on egg dishes (seafood omelets, various benedicts) and pancakes, french toast kind of stuff. For sides they had oatmeal, potato cakes, short stack of pancakes, smoked bacon, single eggs. The vegan options were very limited, really the only drawback to having a group for breakfast here. It'd be great if they had more vegan, as well as healthier options. My apple pancakes with brown-butter roasted pine nuts came with a fruit cup that was very fresh, generous and juicy (setting it apart from the typical fruit cup). The benedict eggs with dungeness crab were a favorite. The portions were great. Parking is $6 per car, which is a fair price. They add it to your bill as soon as you seat, which makes cashing out efficient. The restaurant is beautiful. We saw sea lions. It was a clear day, the water feels very close and we could see the Olympic Mountains. People who were new to Six Seven commented that they would bring their families for Sunday brunch. I've been there for brunch, happy hour and dinner had equally great experiences. 5 stars is well deserved. Aside from the lack of vegan options, Six Seven is great. The only other stone in the sock was the unaccommodating receptionist taking reservations for a large group. Overall, though, I can't wait to go back.

As a lunchtime regular here, heed my advice: order the Dungeness Crab Mac 'n Cheese Casserole. Yes, it's rich. Yes, it's spendy. But it's also amazing. Generous chunks of crab frolic in a sea of cheesy and pasta-y goodness. You'll go back to your office and nap for the rest of the afternoon, dreaming about your next bite of this stuff. Other lunch items are also good for those watching their waistline. The bento boxes are a mathematician's dream because there are so many sandwich, soup, and salad combinations you can create based on your mood. You can't really go wrong with their salads. And their fish and chips bento is great -- and best served with their chowder (trough they'll sometimes try to convince you to pair it with their soup of they day, I'd stick with the chowder). And try their sweet and tangy huckleberry lemonade while you enjoy the views of Elliott Bay.

I've been going to Six Seven at the Edgewater for a few years. There are two things that keep me coming back, time and time again. The Mac'N'Cheese and the Bento Lunch. Not to mention the stellar service and my personal favorite Waitress Marlena. She knows my beverage and personal food choices. She even remembers time and time again that I love shrimp in my mac and light on the dressing for the salad that comes with the bento. Today was no different. Though I've been through 3 different "namings" of the mac'n'cheese it is still one of my, if not my top, favorite in the city of Seattle. Also, the bento style lunches are totally worth trying. They have 6 different kinds including the tempura fish & chips as well as an Alaskan Salmon. Each comes with rice, miso and a salad. I can't speak highly enough for the quality of the food and service. Try their bar for happy hour on a summer night and impress a date or the family. Enjoy!

Great ambiance at Six Seven whether you're just hanging out in the bar or having dinner in the restaurant. Excellent happy hour. Had the 3 course dinner for Seattle restaurant week and really liked the apple & watercress salad and risotto. This is kind of odd, but I really liked the pacing of the courses at the restaurant. They know you're there to enjoy the view and don't rush you out the door. Extremely friendly staff. All good things.

Here it is in a nutshell. 1. Amazing views 2. The food is average - nothing creative or exceptional. 3. Service was good. 4. Decor was like a lodge theme park. The decor is absolutely terrible. I was so turned off by the plastic trees with metal joints in the branches and the gaudy yellow calla lily at each table, the attempt-to-be-modern light fixtures and the heavy, tarnished silverware, that I was embarrassed that I had brought my mother to a place that would do this to fine dining. Note to restaurant: strip it down. Go simple and classic and let the views set the tone. I won't be going back.

The boy and I opted to eat in while staying at the Edgewater for our anniversary. AND AM I GLAD WE DID. When I mentioned to the host that I was an employee of the parent company, she went and got the GM and he welcomed us warmly and ushered us over to a table by the window so we could take in the view of the Sound. Good start. Our server was fun and personable, yet totally professional, a total rockstar. I got the arugula and pear salad with walnuts and a port and balsamic reduction, and it knocked my socks off, not to mention the presentation was beautiful. For the main course, I got a half order of the halibut with black truffle oil, chanterelles and asparagus, and it rocked. Although it was only 3oz of fish, it was perfectly filling after the salad. But the real reason this place gets the full 5 stars? STEAK. The boy's sirloin was perfectly cooked to medium rare perfection and melted in my mouth. I could eat it three times a day for the rest of my life and be perfectly content. It was AMAZING. And our server was able to steer me away from a cocktail that was "mostly champagne" and onto a martini that packed a punch while being tartly sweet. This place is pricy, but we lucked out because I got a sweet discount as an employee... it ended up being totally worth it for a delicious dinner to celebrate a special night. I'd definitely go back for another event... as long as I'm still working for the company.

I love the atmosphere of this restaurant. I also really love their breakfast, especially the Traditional Eggs Benedict. However, I do not enjoy their prices at all. A glass of orange juice is $4, with no refills, and it is a very small glass. Parking is $6. A breakfast for two will easily be at least $40. That is fine for dinner, or maybe a nice lunch, but not for breakfast. If you have the money and want a yummy breakfast the try it.

Came here at lunch and the prices were awesome for the ambiance, view, and food. The decor can be described as cabin fever woodsy meets robots. Their special is the bento box where you pick any soup, a salad, and a half sandwich for $12.

Sleek and sexy is the best way for me to describe the lounge area of the 6/7 Club @ Edgewater. If you are a fan of martini's you must partake here. Enjoy the great view, better drinks, and cozy atmosphere. If you are lucky, take one of the overstuffed chairs in front of the fireplace and settle in for a great night!! I wouldn't suggest coming here with a large group of guys, unless you are trying to start a bromance. 6/7 is all about dates, and it is a great place to meet for a drink in a intimate setting. One of my favorite spots for a first date. Plus, if you really hit it off, the hotel is only a few steps away...

Came here for lunch and it was pretty good, though the service was what really stood out for me. Our server was extremely friendly, gave us great recommendations, and made us feel welcome. The views are great and my huckleberry half-n-half (mixed with iced tea) was great. My salad had too much blue cheese for my taste but I'm not as into blue cheese as others may be. I had the cheesecake for dessert and my wife had the creme brulee, and we both really liked these. I'd come back for other meals as it wasn't too expensive.

I came here for happy hour on the first nice day of the year (always a monumental event in Seattle), and I thought "What a nice place to come on a nice day." Funny thing was, the clientele seemed almost exclusively tourists and people on Match.com dates (This is something I've noticed on several occasions, not just this one). Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I am surprised that more Seattleites have not discovered it. The Six Seven bar is practically in Belltown, overlooks the water, has a nice bright airy ambience and a large outdoor deck. The happy hour specials include wine, beer, and several cocktails named after Beatles songs. Apparently the Beatles stayed here at some point and the hotel continues to milk that publicity some 40-plus years later. The happy hour food is great. Love the shrimp corndogs -- fresh jumbo shrimp, battered and fried, and served with delicious handmade ketchup and mustard. Service was a little slow, and I have to admit the female servers' dress bugged me (slinky black slut wear is fine for nightclubs, but looked way out of place here, especially since most of these servers were well into their 40s). I didn't notice what the men were wearing. Prices are a little high, but the chance to look out onto the water on a nice day while eating a whole order of those delicious corn dogs (my friend was an hour late and I couldn't let them get cold, after all) made it worth it.

I can't believe I haven't written a review on Six Seven as I have been going here for years (that makes me sound old)... Their Brunch and lunch is pretty great - especially for a hotel with local ingredients and an emphasis on Northwest wines... I have spent more time in the bar entertaining out of town colleagues and friends - amazing views, well crafted cocktails, and a happy hour to boot. Great to watch the sun set, grab a cocktail, or even stay for dinner.

I'm not one to complain but when it comes to service and food delivery I have expectations. I've been here a few times but this time was bad. Went in for a nice Sunday Brunch with 4 other friends. The service was horrible. Asking for water multiple times, waiting more that 45 minutes for food but then only a portion of us had food, the last plate didn't come out for another 5 minutes. When we complained the manager apologized and that was all. Overall bad service and slow kitchen.

What is there to say about this restaurant? Well, not only is it at a beautiful location, the food was more than delicious! I ordered the lamb and it was cooked to perfection. It was my first time eating lamb and it sure ain't gonna be my last. It was cooked with the right amount of pink in the middle and it was so juicy and tender. A little price for the size but hey, what else can you expect from a high end restaurant? The service was 4 star quality. Aaron greeted us as we entered and showed us to our table. He was super friendly and really catered to our needs. It was my birthday and he made it a great experience (with a complimentary berry cake). I'm not sure if he was a waiter or server, but Fernando was a pleasure to have at our table and refilling our water glasses and asking us about our meal throughout the night. To top off the night, we decided to stay for the live band and had a few drinks. Our bartender, Michael was fast with our drinks and made something special for my birthday. I couldn't have had a better time for my birthday. I would recommend this restaurant for their top notch customer service and delicious food.

Came in here during the summer for a happy hour first date. We sat right on/over the water during sunset. It was very beautiful. Service was excellent. I don't remember my first drink because my second was the Yellow Submartini which was so amazing I can't remember anything else. We ordered the fish & chips and the prawn corn-dogs. Both were delicious. I can't comment on prices as I wasn't paying attention. I want to go back.

We stayed here and loved it. The decor is just cool. I felt as though I was in a fancy cabin (apparently the Beattles used to stay there). The rooms are terridic with great views and a comfortable feeling. The food was great, I had crab legs which are one of my favorite foods. She had the steak, of course I tasted and was cooked perfectly. I didn't want to stop eating. Perfect place for an anniversary.

Eat before you come and Bring Earplugs and a Flashlight. Went to take in laws to nice dinner from out of town. They sat us an hour late and the parked us in the back of the restaurant which was pitch dark. Wondering what was going on, a super loud band started and continued for the next hour and a half in the bar next door so we all had to yell to hear each other. The plus is that the food is great but overall a huge failure for the restaurant.

This restaurant deserves more respect than it gets. The food is consistently very good and the service is always excellent. Try the crab eggs benedict or their omlette special. And if you're there for lunch, you can't go wrong with the minestrone or clam chowder. Water views are excellent.

This is the best seafood I have had, maybe ever! I was in Seattle on a work trip and was looking for good Salmon. I had three nights and hoped to find three good places. I found one great place and two good/okay ones. The great place was 67 Restaurant at the Edgewater. I went randomly with my co-workers after finding that the Space Needle was closed. We just happened in there, following some tourist map. I had the cured salmon to start followed by more salmon. It was AMAZING. I can't wait to go back! My co-workers had other seafood dishes that were equally delicious. I think one had the scallops. You can't go wrong... not even close!

The food is decent, but overpriced. The view is great if you get a good table, although it can be really loud in the restaurant if the bar has a band as they often do on Friday and Saturday nights. I've been here three times now and had problems with the service each time. The first two times were unremarkable, but the staff was generally inattentive. Last night, I had some of the worst service I've ever had. Here's the summary. If you care enough to read the details, they're below. - Server didn't want to ask the bartender which potato vodkas were available and was rude when we asked her to - Apologized for seating us at a noisy table, but didn't offer to move us - Didn't ask us if we wanted refills on our drinks when the glasses were empty - Didn't check on the food when the salad was delivered; didn't check on dinner until we were nearly done - Took the wine list after we asked her to leave it - One of the drinks in the first round was wrong and she not only didn't fix it, she argued about it - 50 minutes between being seated and getting a second drink - Nothing on our bill was comped after complaining to the manager We arrived ten minutes before our reservation and were sat immediately, which was nice. What was less nice was that a wedding was going on in the next room and our table was right against the partition between rooms, so conversation was difficult between the loud wedding music and the loud band in the bar. When our server arrived, we told her that my girlfriend has a gluten allergy and asked what they had for potato vodkas. She said she didn't know and then just sort of stood there. My girlfriend politely mentioned that the bartender would know. The server then asked my girlfriend to name the potato vodkas she knew of and she'd check to see if they have any. That's a ridiculous request. That's like asking someone to name all the whiskeys they'd ever heard of. My girlfriend again said that the bartender should know and asked the server to check with him. The server sort of rolled her eyes and begrudgingly walked away, clearly put out. The only two gluten-free vodkas they had were both terrible, but my girlfriend reluctantly ordered one of them, dirty. The drink that was delivered was a martini with olives, but was not dirty. When my girlfriend mentioned it, the server not only didn't offer to replace it but actually argued that it was, in fact, dirty. I can verify that it wasn't. At all. After bringing our drinks, our server apologized for the noise from the wedding, but did not offer to move us. She then took the wine list after we had asked her to leave it. After taking our orders, my salad arrived. The server did not notice our empty drinks at that point and simply dropped off the salad and left. She did not come back to check on me to make sure the salad was good. We moved our empty glasses to the edge of the table to make it as obvious as possible that we'd like a refill. She noticed them when dinner was delivered. It was a full 50 minutes between when we were seated and when our second round of drinks were delivered. The server again failed to check on us until our dinners were almost done. The manager came by to apologize for the noise, at which point we voiced our extreme displeasure with the service. He offered to comp us a round of after-dinner drinks or dessert, which we declined. Frankly, we just wanted to pay and leave at that point. I appreciate a manager trying to make things right, but after we declined any additional service, he did not comp anything on our bill. A manager who makes a real effort to reconcile a bad dinner will often convince me to give the restaurant another chance. This manager did not. I will not be coming back and I will warn everyone I know away.

Of course, being right on the water, the view was stunning. The four of us sat on comfortable couches by the window. Service felt a bit forced, but still friendly. During March, they are running a March Madness Mix and Match deal. You select your starter, entree, and dessert (from 3 options each) for $35, not including beverages. I had the crab cakes to start -- delicious, followed by cedar planked salmon - -wonderful flavor, and lastly the apple tart -- also scrumptious. I was satisfied, but I think some of the guys in the group were still hungry at the end. Overall a comfortable and tasty experience for everyone.

Quite a dissappointment !! I've learned my lesson-no high expectations for big events like NYE. The NYE menu online looked appealling and quite pricey. SInce the reviews were pretty good, I thought I'd give it a try. So I went there with my bf in hopes of having a good meal and fun times at the place. On their website, the photos of the restarant gave me an impression that it offered refined elegance like Five Sails Restaurant. Well, it had a nice view of the waters, but the decore wasn't that elegant at all. It had a more "rustic charm". A quick review of the menu: 1)Golden Faberge Egg-What a fancy name! Aside from the fact that I couldn't taste any cavier, the lobster was cooked just right and the custard was nice and smooth. 2)Carmelized Foie Gras-The foie gras was cooked perfectly however I found the sauce to be too sweet from high usage of the icewine. There was a lack of fruit presence so I missed the natural sweet tanginess from the fruits. Thank goodness my glass of Tokaji added some complexity to this dish. 3)Butter Poached Maine Lobster-I found the lobster to be a bit mushy and it was really drenched in butter. So for me it tasted way too heavy. 4)Chocoate-Over the top chocolate. It was just sweet sweet chocolate. I didn't like the fact that the server brought me a different glass of sweet wine without consulting with me. Needless to say, I ordered a different one. Also, they asked too many times if we enjoyed our food. It felt a bit intrusive. I guess I won't be there for a very long time.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this Place! Great ambience, yummy food and drinks, and live music on certain nights. It is a bit price so I try to make it to happy hour to save some $. I will also say that the lounge service is hit or miss. Always seems like the servers there think their pretty looks alone is enough service; so they can be a bit slow and not service the table as often as I would like.

My sister and I stopped by the Edgewater for a quick snack after a walk in the Olympic Sculpture Park and before picking up her kids from a movie. However, our waitress was decidedly NOT in a hurry, despite the dearth of customers at 4:00 in the afternoon. She must have walked by our table 5 times, saying she'd "be right back" to take our order. After each circuit, she would proceed to stand and chat with the bartender for several minutes. Once she eventually did take our order, the service was relatively speedy. Unfortunately, neither of our appetizers were on the happy hour menu, but the tempura asparagus fries were well worth the price - crispy on the outside and just the right degree of soft inside, with a yummy aioli. The ahi fish tacos were just o.k. Of course the real reason to go the Edgewater is the water views, and on a glorious July day, they did not disappoint.

Not a very hip crowd or good place to meet people. Surprisingly, they had an extremely loud band playing also (granted it was a Friday night) so it wasn't even a good place to have a chat with friends. The truffle fries were great. Waitress didn't offer water when I sat down and when someone else at the table asked for water, she brought a glass of white wine instead. We had to walk up to the bar to cash out because she was absent and we couldn't ask for our check. I would not recommend Six Seven!

I made reservations here for my friend's 30th birthday when she requested seafood with a view. I was hoping for a really fun and fancy experience, with a nice view of the sunset. The view was amazing, but everything else was a little disappointing. It was a graduation weekend so they were very busy, and the restaurant was really loud. A larger party next to us had a really really loud person in their group who kept singing throughout the night. The food was fine, I enjoyed the mussels and the lobster mac and cheese, and my friends liked their fish dishes. I got the scallops, and as someone before me noted, they were really really unbearably salty. What was even more upsetting, was that when I wanted to tell the waitress about the saltiness, she was nowhere to be found. When she finally arrived back, everyone else was done eating and by then I just wanted to move on and finish up. I suppose I should have said something about the scallops, but I do think it is common practice for a server to check in on their table after their food has been dropped. Looking back I was just overall disappointed by the whole night, I don't think I'd be back for a full dinner. Maybe I could be talked into happy hour.

The decor and view of the water was fantastic. The food was excellent, and big portions. It was one of the best looking burgers and fries that I've seen as they took the time to present the meal in a Japanese bento box which I thought was cool. They even had a solid beer list. While it was a bit pricey, you get what you pay for. Great place to grab lunch with friends from out of town.

Great place to grab drinks. Spectacular view, especially when sailboats come within 5 feet of the building!! Food is also pretty good but I have never eaten dinner here.

The food is good. The staff are way beyond excellent. Our waiter was perfect at paying attention to our needs. It seemed as if he was telepathically connected to us, anticipating timing, menu, etc. He was so good that, had this been a first date, I'd have scored. (As it was, it was another great part of a romantic weekend.)

I've been to this place a few times for lunch, dinner, and happy hour since I work right by it. Overall this restaurant is pretty good and like other people have already said, it has really great views of the sound, but for my money, I'd rather go to Anthony's or Ray's Boathouse which have equally good views, but better menus and food.

Seductive and sexy is what this place is. Views are incredible. Come here for happy hour and watch the sunset. Or better yet stay and dine in their fabulous dining room. First time I dined here I couldn't help but stare at their antler light fixtures. They also have a large fireplace between the bar and the dining area. I'm a sucker for fireplaces.

I've been here several times for lunch, both business and leisure. The view is nice, perhaps goes along with the touristy appeal of the hotel. The decor in the dining room is uninspired. The menu reads typical. The service, without fail, has been slow at every one of my visits, which is painful for business lunches.

note: this review was originally posted in my personal blog march 2007. the first sunday of this month, we tried out six-seven restaurant in the rustic edgewater hotel on the waterfront. most people seem to rave about the decor but i think they kinda took the northwest motif over the top. it was like a bad vegas theme hotel or something. the upside is that the dining room is right on the water so the views are pretty spectacular. i've mentioned this before, but i'll reiterate that i like to stalk my food. i read reviews, check out their menu, all that stuff. six-seven is no exception. in fact, their 25for$25 menu is the main reason i chose this place; it's much more interesting than their regular menu, which is not typical in my experience. according to our server, the restaurant is using the promotion to showcase their new chef. asparagus leek soup: w/olive oil poached white asparagus: the color was a bit otherworldly but scott enjoyed it nonetheless. seared jumbo lump crab cake: w/tomato jam, dungeness crab & lemongrass sauce: this SO didn't look like a crabcake. i mean, it's wasn't even FRIED for fucks sake... still, it was pretty good. i think it was steamed, then baked so it reminded me of a chinese preparation. the tomato jam was spicy & the sauce savory & not overly lemony so it all worked really well together. white miso marinated halibut: w/ sweet potato, shiitake mushroom, spinach & carrot sauce: the fish was huge & the miso marinade was pretty subtle, which i think was a good way to let the flavors of the fish & vegetables shine through. scott really seemed to enjoy this. berkshire pork tenderloin: blue cheese corn & potato tian, apple cider sauce: again, much larger than expected. the pork was cooked more well-done than you'd expect at an upscale restaurant but it still remained surprisingly tender. i'm not quite sure what a "tian" is since i've had it at several different places & they've all been completely different. in this case, it was kinda like a muffin. a good muffin. still, they should just call the thing a goddamn muffin. whatever the case, it went well with the pork. the sauce was nice but nothing noteworthy. overall, i really enjoyed it though. chocolate pot au creme: w/ espresso gelee & chocolate tuille: we had the same discussion i'm sure we've had at least 2 other times before: what the hell is a "tuille"? luckily, kat was with us & we came to the conclusion that it's a thin cookie-like thing. i don't even know if that registered with scott since he was pretty enamored of the "pot" part. despite the presence of the de rigueur turd-like embellishment on top, this dessert ended up being surprisingly good. i'm often disappointed by this dish because, while it purports chocolately deliciousness, it more often than not, delivers something dense, chalky or gluey. in this case, it was chocolately, creamy, & almost light enough to be a mousse. marscapone panna cotta: pineapple, candied pistachio & muscato reduction: normally, i would've countered scott's chocolate with the lemon but, outside of an italian restaurant, you don't got a whole lotta panna cotta these days. i think the last time i had one was at volterra & it tasted like ass so i was taking a risk here. this one here was super creamy but not overly sweet. all the sweetness came from the pineapple bits, with the pomegranate seeds adding a little tartness & the pistachios adding, duh, nuttiness. i thought it was excellent. our server was especially friendly albeit in a slick, huckster sort of way but the host was kind of a hottie so that all evened out. overall, i'd say that their new chef is going to be a great way to bring the edgewater more urban & up to date. now they just need someone to work on the decor.

Dine outdoors for lunch on a warm, sunny day and experience what "lap of luxury" really means. Lunch prices are reasonable for a hotel of this caliber and I can't recommend the crispy calamari salad highly enough. Lots of seafood on the menu, perfectly attentive waitstaff, and even from inside the views are outstanding.

Went here for brunch today. Awesome food! The brunch buffet was excellent but a bit spendy since it is a hotel restaurant on the water with a great view. The selection is great though from the basics like custom omelettes, french toast, eggs benedict, to exotics like oysters, crab, sushi, lox, salmon, prime rib, and the dessert spread makes it worth it with the vanilla bean creme brulee, grand marnier flan, chocolate mousse with berries and bits of truffles served in a champagne glass, and huge chocolate covered strawberries.

The best happy hour and late night dining we found while in Seattle. Great atmosphere in the bar with neat mechanical trees, big screen t.v. and a great view. But what's up with the techno-disco music they play? It is a little distracting. Bar appetizers were very fresh and ample-not reheated left-overs. The fried calamari was among the best I have eaten in the west coast. It is called "crispy" or "crisped". I was dreading small overcooked leftover bits, but it was actually large slices of tender squid with a great batter coating. The next day we went for a late night dinner/snack. We sat outside and ordered a couple of small plates which were all excellent and received great service from Alison. She made sure we were happy and enjoying everything. We usually turn down desert because we don't eat much dairy and sugar. So we sat and talked over coffee and tea, while enjoying the beautiful view on the water. Alison insisted on finding some desert for us. "What would you like?" she asked. So we meekly asked if it was possible to get maybe a couple of cookies or biscotti, even though they weren't on the menu. She went back to the kitchen (or maybe to the nearest market) and brought us a large dish of biscotti. What a treat! Can't wait to go back.

Nestled on the edge of Puget Sound, Six Seven has amazing views, great service, and wonderful food! I ate lunch at Six Seven and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the experience! I had a salmon club sandwich covered with the tastiest avocado I've ever had. Too bad Six Seven wasn't around when the Beatles stayed at the Edgewater!

This place has a great view, although I came for dinner so everything was all dark. But since there are large windows, I assume the view is magnificent on a sunny day. The food was good, I don't remember being overly impressed or disappointed. The dinner "bread" was like rice crackers or something similar, so it was different and interesting. The decoration is very Northwest, lots of wood and warmth.

So delicious! My husband and I went here for a Wednesday night dinner during the 3 or $30 promotion. This was by far the best 3 for $30 dinner I've ever had. Most places will fill out their 3 for $30 menus with items like noodles or pasta, which are great, don't get me wrong, but when you do enough of these 3 for $30's, you really get tired of it. The selections were delicious, and the food was made to order, also not typical for some places who do 3 for 30 deals. I would heartily recommend coming here anytime, but the prices are on the high side if you came on a regular saturday night. The service was also impeccable, we were a little table of 2, surrounded by much larger tables of 8 and 9 person groups, yet we got full attention, with our food being whisked off the table as soon as we were done by at least two people. I would definitely go back.

I like this place for its ambience more than anything. During the day, the view is gorgeous. It is right on the water. Beautiful. At night, it is romantic and warm. I've had similar food before at other places though. I had a great experience with their great service. You should definitely try this place.

The Matt took me here for an anniversary, it was really pretty. The food was above average in quality, but the views were breathtaking, and I think they watered down the drinks a little bit? Either way, the meals we ordered were very tasty .. and it was a little too warm inside too.

My last experience here was very disappointing. The wait staff was extremely rude. We sat on the balcony (after confirming with the staff that it was open) and were not served for 10 minutes. We made a second attempt alert the staff that we were no the balcony, and again no one came out for at least 10 minutes. A third attempt was made and finally someone came out saying "we're sorry, we didn't know you were out here (note we informed the staff 3 times before being served)." Meanwhile, shortly after that, two parties were catered to immediately. Now, my party was a little more casually dressed than the rest of the crowd. Probably looked less "wealthy". I definitely felt ignored and shunned due to my appearance? or something? No attempt was made to make up for their mistakes. I had two previous good experiences here. I thought the food was good, nice happy hour, great view. Now I really hesitate to go back due to the way I was treated. They really need to work on treating all guests with the same respect. Whether they look like they have money or not.

mon-thurs specials for limited time - you get to pick from 3 sections to pick your starter, main, and dessert for $25. great deal and if you arrive by 5:30 when they start seating, a reserv. is not necessary as it's slow these days.

The Wife and I joined some friends for Sunday brunch this past weekend and I found it to be of a very high quality. We hadn't been to the Edgewater since the renovation and renaming of the restaurant. The layout is pretty much the same with a slightly different look but what you go there for isn't the art but the view and we had a glorious day! There isn't a better place to spend Sunday morning than looking out across the Sound at the Olympics. There was a pretty good assortment of food in the buffet "room". It seemed to be separated into groupings with the outside walls having the pastries/dessert table, the seafood table, omelet table and carving station. The big center table had your basic breakfast items plus salads, fruit and cheese, lox, hummus and the likes. It was all excellent quality with my only complaint being that the person who shucked the oysters didn't do a very good job. The service was very good. Our waitress didn't hover but managed to get us new table service when we got up to fill new plates. A sign of a true pro! If you have out of town company and want to show them why you live in the Northwest, take them to the Six Seven, especially on a beautiful sunny day!

The interior design of this place is terribly confusing to dissect. It's as though two very different designers came in -- and each did their own thing. The first designer goes for the "Pacific Northwest" vibe. From the dining room to the bathroom, there are trees everywhere. The second designer goes for the pseudo-modern vibe. Contemporary dining tables. Artsy chandeliers. Trance music videos on acid... We came here for Restaurant Week. For our appetizers, we tried the ruby beet carpaccio and the wild arugula local pear salad (I'm really not a fan of candied walnut). Nothing really worth noting there. For our entrees, I tried the king salmon saltimbocca and my boyfriend had the braised pork shoulder. The saltimbocca was simply salmon wrapped with paper-thin slices of prosciutto served on top of a creamy starchy...something (I forgot what). The pork shoulder was decent but felt incredibly heavy after 4 bites. For dessert, we tried both the molten chocolate torte and the espresso praline crème brulee...which we unfortunately couldn't finish. The heavy entrées followed by such heavy desserts was too much for my body. I would have much more enjoyed a tarty sorbet to cleanse my palate.

Not the typical review, as I a strictly a lunch patron. But for lunch it's a great destination! Menu gives lots of choices - including some healty ones (which is hard to find in the area). View at mid-day is lovely, and the staff is friendly. My favorite is their "bento box" lunch of a salad, sandwich, and cup of soup. This is not a location for a quick bite, but perfect if you want to use the full lunch hour enjoying with friends or co-workers.

Went to this place recently for drinks/apps. The view was spectacular and the decor was very interesting and I really enjoyed it. We loved the atmosphere of the whole place. Here is the low down on the dining experience. Pros: The view. It's unbeatable. Menu had a decent number of options that were easier on the budget. We knew it was going to be on the pricier side but I was pleased that I could still find something good without going broke. Food- I had the fish and chips because that's what I was craving. Not very adventurous, I know. They were really good though! Portion size was generous. Cons: Service. I was pretty surprised by this. It was difficult to get our server to stop by our table. Once she stopped by and reeked of cigarette smoke. When it came time to get the check we could not find the server, and it took two of us waving at her to get her to the table. I was NOT impressed and her tip reflected it. Drinks. I wasn't wowed. I was expecting a bigger selection of both beer and wine, as well as cocktails. Giant TV. The atmosphere is so great, the giant TV seemed really out of place and I think it would be much nicer without it. Parking. It isn't a surprise but the parking is unfortunate. It would be nice if they had a small area for parking that wasn't valet. The street spots nearby charge until 8 pm, later than other areas of the city. Overall, not bad. I'll go back again. I hope to have better service next time...it's certainly something I expect from a nice restaurant.

Abysmally slow service even though room was only half full. Amateurish wait staff. Seemed young and inexperienced like trainee or intern night. To be fair, this was last spring so maybe things have changed for the better. The manager was very apologetic, acknowledging the ridiculously slow service. Food was excellent, though, when we FINALLY got it. Seriously, 45 minutes to get served.

Meh. We were staying at the hotel so we ate here. It was "ladies night" so we got free sparkling blush wine, which was ok, but a long time between refills. We ordered a lot of appetizers for dinner for four people, rather than meals. We ate at the bar on the little waterside area outside. The calamari is good, the sliders really tasty, and the mac and cheese decadent. Less appealing were the Cesar salad, tuna poke, and crab cakes. It is expensive, expect to pay 10 to 15 dollars per appetizer. Happy hour, if they have it, would be worth it. The service was slow, disorganized, and there was a touch of a snobby attitude. If you don't want to take the order or occasionally stop by to refill glasses, let me know and I'll go elsewhere! However, by the time we figured out the waitresses weren't very interested in us we were fairly intoxicated, making any sort of movement to another location difficult.

They've obviously spent careful attention in dish preparation. The Muscovy duck, especially, stands out with tender filets. By the water, the ambiance makes for a comfortable and relaxing meal. Good job all around.

Six Seven deserves more than 5 stars for the experience we had Saturday night. I did hours of research to find the *perfect* place to take my husband for a surprise dinner. I wanted someplace very nice, but not stuffy. Incredible food, but not hoity-toity little plates of compressed radishes with crunchy pig ears. I was looking for the "Goldilocks" of restaurants, that perfect balance. And I found it!!! I have never been 100% satisfied with a restaurant until now. Our night was perfect. We had 8 o'clock reservations, and were sat right by the window overlooking the sound. Even at night, the view of the city lights is gorgeous. Our waitress was amiable, kind, and gave us excellent but not overly attentive service (perfect balance). The decor is beautiful and romantic, classy but not over the top. THE FOOD.... Wow. Where to begin. I ordered the sage-brined chicken, and my husband got the grilled fillet of beef. We ordered a baked potato to share, and asparagus. Before our meal arrived, we received a basket of bread. Warm rosemary bread with a sprinkle of sea salt on the crust. Best bread ever, I could have eaten a meal of just that bread! And then our meal arrived....... My chicken was literally the best chicken I have ever had. The skin was crispy, the meat juicy, cooked to perfection and had the most delicious lemon-sage sauce amid roasted root vegetables. I am drooling recalling it! My husband is Very picky about his steak and he loved his. It was tender, cooked perfectly, and well seasoned. We were sent an order of lobster mac by mistake, which we gladly accepted. There was large pieces of lobster in what tasted like Beecher's mac & cheese. Delicious. The baked potato was huge and baked with cheese and giant pieces of bacon. Wow. The asparagus was a very large portion and was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I cannot possibly explain to you how excellent our food was. You have to try it for yourself. The drinks... My husband ordered the Little Wing drink and loved it (he ordered several!). He said it was strong, sippable, and tasty. I am pregnant so the waitress recommended I have a shirley temple with orange juice. Fantastic. The price? $110 for 2 entrees, 2 sides, 3 drinks, and tax. For the best restaurant experience we have ever had, that is an incredible bargain. Side notes: -We had planned to valet park, but the lot was full. We were disappointed at first until we found street parking right outside the hotel and it was free because it was after 8. No complaints! -As we were finishing dinner, live music began playing in the bar. We wandered over there and were treated to a live show by Ayron and the Way. They played mostly Hendrix covers, and very well. The guitarist/lead singer even played his guitar behind his head! The energy in the bar was great, and the bonus of seeing a very talented band play after such an incredible dinner was truly the icing on the cake. Kudos Six Seven, we had such a great night and will absolutely be back!!!!!

Very Nice! My friends and I had a great time dining here. It was a very pleasant experience. The ambiance is great! Even though we got a window seat, but it was too dark to see anything. Nonetheless, it felt great. What we ordered: Crab & shrimp cake...absolutely delicious! Filet mignon...it was decent/pretty good (not the best I ever had, but good enough), king salmon...also decent/pretty good (nothing spectular, but solid). Creme Brulee...all of us liked it. Overall: Great place, great experience, great and helpful service. Would come back if I'm in Seattle again.

This place is close to my heart. It was the very first restaurant I went to when I interviewed for the job that changed my life by bringing me up to Seattle four years ago. I have paid it forward many time by welcoming new team members and celebrating team successes via lunch at 67. I have even attended happy hour and had a lovely time. But it seems my team and I got really busy, too busy in fact, that we started ordering in for our successes and forgot about 67. Fast forward to a surprise lunch invitation by the very boss who offered me a job while dining at 67 four years ago. This was last Thursday. Service was excellent, of course. However, I clearly missed the memo that they changed what was previously a delicious menu. Gone is the spicy crab and lemongrass soup, the bento box was a little uninspired, and the salumi plate only appears as a special (the specials were not offered to me, I snuck a peak at the hostess stand and I now realize these might have just been for dinner which kinda sucks). Everything now appears to be fried, middle american versions of New American. Perhaps the category should just be changed to Seafood? The actual menu itself (the holder and the production of the menu) looks like it might have been given a bit of a downgrade - bring back the black holder, it was way more chic. I'm trying hard not to be hyper critical (totally failing, aren't I?), but I would now probably not bring anybody to 67 with the hope that they would love the food and view...now their only comment would likely be for the view and fabulous service. I just figured out who they've become....Salty's. See my view on Salty's to see how I feel about this. I love you 67....get your head back in the game!

Everything about this place was great: food, service and the view - EVEN if you can't get a seat outside. My brother and sister-in-law recommended it and at first I was skeptical due to some iffy Yelp reviews, but I'm really glad we stuck with it. I went with a group of seven ladies so we had to sit inside - they are not legally allowed to seat parties larger than four out there, the hostess explained. We discovered this shortly before we arrived (we'd been planning to wait for a table outside although we had a resy for inside and the whole reason we chose Six Seven was that we wanted to eat outside), but it was absolutely beautiful even from inside - the walls are all glass so you have your view no matter where you sit and it's breathtaking, especially at sunset! We had great service all around, delicious fish (I had the cedar plank salmon), thorough wine list and fantastic dessert (I had the Panna cotta at the server's recommendation and it was awesome!) Definitely recommend!

Very nice ambiance, pleasant service and a friendly sommelier but this was the saltiest food I've ever had in a restaurant. And I was once served a lemonade made with salt instead of sugar. *shudder* The beet salad, pear & gorgonzola salad, halibut and filet were all egregiously oversalted. We asked our server about it and she gave the distinct impression that she's heard that complaint before. I mean, I can see getting overzealous with salt on the proteins, but on our salads? How does that happen? Too many good restaurants in Seattle to return here.

This was the worst Mother's Day dinner ever! First off, they got the reservation time wrong when my reservation was for first dinner seating @6pm and when I got there it was changed to 6:30pm. I asked for a window seat, which we would've got if we were seated at 6pm but now there were none available for party of 4+1 child. After complaining to the host we were seated by the window at a table with SO little leg room that you had to climb in to sit down. They got the order wrong, the waitress was so rude (when you asked for a refill on your drink, she acted like she didn't hear your request but took your glass. it was obvious with every reasonable request, she was annoyed that we would ask for a refill...) We FINALLY got our meal at 8pm (we were seated at 6:45pm) -a whole hour and 15 mins later!! My mom was starving (so much for Mother's Day). The food was nothing great: the sirloin steak was tough and salty, the asparagus was super salty, Totally not worth the $30+ steak!! I was attracted to this place because they boast organic and local ingredients, but I guess that says nothing about the cooking practices! After all this, the host asked me how dinner was and I told him exactly how it was - disappointing!! He apologized and later offered free dessert - which was nice but it took another 35mins to get dessert (2 scoops of sorbet and apple tart). This experience was SO bad! The only nice thing about this restaurant are the bus boys - they were nice and doing our waitress' job! My husband has never not left a tip at a nice restaurant and for the first time EVER, he didn't tip. Don't waste your money.

Management: WAKE UP! I have to agree with Jennifer H. I wonder if she too was there on 05/30/10. My visit was a huge disappointment. We sat in the bar area. The chair legs/window tracks/rugs/floor/upholstery was very dirty. I would never normally even comment on such a thing but for me it was blatantly obvious and also off-putting. I couldn't help but just feel dirty in there, when such a place should be pristine, if you ask me!! We were not the only ones who noticed the terrible service that day.. The room was full and you could everyone was like "where the hell is she?! (waitress)" She, Allyson was a completely hopeless waitress. For a "classy" establishment, she was certainly substandard. Harsh but true. We ended up ordering from the bar guy who was great. However, when she checked on us every 20min or so and kept finding we'd already got our stuff through him she was pissed and had a mini hissy fit and confronted him.. He couldn't help it, we were desperate .. All the other couples started placing their orders through him too...!!!! No joke! Okay food. Happy hour prices are all I'd ever want to spend if that kind of appalling service is standard. View = great. Acoustics = terrible. It was very loud in there! Interior design = awesome. Bartender's "Pomegranate Lemon Drop" = amazing!!

I've been to this restaurant twice, both times for lunch. I will give you the same advice I gave to the people with me on the second trip there: "Order an appetizer, as your entree will not arrive for a fortnight." It was of course an accurate statement. The service was fine, the food okay (More style than substance I'm afraid.), and the environment isn't bad. Were I buying (I wasn't both times) I would have chosen someplace else, like the Old Spaghetti Warehouse down the street, or many numerous options in Pike Place Market which isn't too far away either. If you happen to be staying at the Edgewater, I suppose it wouldn't be a bad choice, but it still wouldn't be my first one.

The food is pathetic, disgusting and over priced. The surroundings are dated and not very clean. The only thing going for this place is the view so pack a lunch and sit on the patio. This place in going DOWN so save your $$ and go to Red Robin. 1 star is too generous! Eaters beware!

We stayed at the Edgewater this weekend and went to the Six 7 resturant for brunch and then later in the evening for desert and drinks. The brunch was the best breakfast we've ever had (the view is awesome as is the food). The desert and drinks in the lounge were exceptional again. It's not a cheap place, we couldn't eat here all the time but it is definately a great place for a special occasion.

6/7 restaurant bar side, the employees were too busy laughing and having a good time instead of taking our order after we had to seat ourselves. We finally had to go up to the bar and order there from a guy that didn't acknowledge us at all till he was told to help us because we had been waiting for awhile, this was on a Wednesday night at 9pm so they weren't overly busy. Tuesday night we had a late night snack there, food was good but like everything else in Seattle it was pricey. View: **** Food: *** Price: ** Service: * Not good to ignore the paying customers.

You can't beat the brunch special at Six Seven - a full-menu selection of an appetizer, main, dessert and choice of champagne or a mimosa - all for only $25! My dining companion and I both couldn't resist order the duo of fresh Penn Cove oysters prepared two ways: one was reminiscent of a Bloody Mary, with bacon, celery, apple and splashed with a tomato cocktail sauce; the second was a contrast with delicate salmon roe caviar, cucumber, and creme fraiche. Both were delightful amuse bouche to start the meal. I ordered the lobster hash, which was billed as "sweet potato hash with green onions, two poached eggs, roasted tomato hollandaise and herb oil," but was a bit lacking. First, there wasn't a roasted tomato hollandaise but a traditional hollandiase instead. Second, the lobster claw that was artfully placed on top of the poached eggs was overcooked and tough to the bite. I didn't care much for the sweetness of the hash - I should've known what I was getting into with the sweet potato, but it still felt like there could've been better balance between the hash's sweet and salty notes. We also ordered the Eggs St. Charles - "pan seared alaskan cod with spinach, midnight tomatoes brioche and pimento cream sauce." This course definitely beat my lobster hash, although I felt the pimento cream sauce could have been a bit bolder and more aggressive in flavor. I can't complain when eggs come out poached to perfection, though. We both opted for a fruit platter instead of a dessert to make the brunch a little lighter - and the waiter had no problem with us doing so. I would definitely recommend Six Seven for the delightful brunch fare and the stunning harbor views!

After being out in the 19 degree Seahawks parade crowd for several hours we were so pleased that this restaurant is really a notch above in food quality and service. We opted for a cozy booth away from the window because it was dark and probably cold in front of the giant windows overlooking Elliot Bay. Who can complain when they offer 4 courses and a glass of wine for 2 people for $67? I have a hospitality industry background and can be pretty picky, but no need here. Matt was our server and more attentive he could not be. We both had the Arugula-Pear salad, the Sweet Potato bisque. Both delicious. They offer 2 entrees for this special and we had one of each. Plank Grilled Salmon and Braised Pork Shoulder. Again delicious. We had no room for dessert so Matt packed them up and we took them back to our room. Sorry I can't remember the names of the hostess and the busser, but we felt like part of the family and chatted with them throughout our meal. Spirits were high because of the fantastic Victory Parade and our experience at the Edgewater and their dining room was a fantastic finale! Thank You All!

I am torn beween 3 and 4 stars so I suppose I'll say 3.5. First of all we didn't come here for brunch, it was dinner, and I'd have to give every single thing I put in my mouth five stars. Food was fantastic. The service, however, was as others have put it: "abysmally slow". We arrived early for our 7:30 reservation and did not leave until 9:15PM. We spent less than half of that time eating and the majority of it waiting for our food. We didn't get our meal until almost a full hour after arrival. We had bread, ran out of bread, had our appetizer, ordered our entres, and then sat there awkwardly with no food in front of us. We got so bored waiting for food that we started going through emails together. It wasn't until we had waited another 20 minutes with no food that we were able to flag the waiter down and get more bread. By the time dinner came at 8:15 I had loaded up on so much bread that my stomach didn't have much room for food. I will say, however, that it was FANTASTIC. I had the Bouillabaisse and he had the cedar plank salmon. We both loved it. I wish I could have finished it but unfortunately I had to wait an hour nibbling on bread before my food ever arrived so I was filled up. I'm not counting minutes here, but it took awhile before they came back to take our plates. We had dessert (mousse and chocolate ice cream--both were spectacular) and then waited another long time to actually get our check so we could leave. The atmosphere in this restaurant is nice--the chairs are all thickly cushioned and there are couch-like benches in the booths by the windows. Trees, fireplaces and dim lighting set a very woodsy and lodgy atmosphere. However, once it's dark the view is gone and it's just black water out of the windows. The reason this place gets 3 stars instead of four is because I expect to have much more prompt service and a better view for the absurd prices you pay to eat here. $15 for a bowl of macaroni and cheese smaller than my small cereal bowls at home? $13 for a single crab cake? $40 for my entree? And I had to wait an hour to eat? Sorry, but no. The food was phenomenal but not worth those prices. I would gladly pay those prices for less good food and better service. I guess in terms of water view dining I will stick to palisade for now.

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday on Sunday. The name of the restaurant was a surprise until the last minute. He told me he even did it "my way" by going to Yelp and typing in "seafood" and "waterfront." hehe. We put on our nice clothes and arrived a little early for our reservation so we could walk around first. (Great idea because its a cool hotel and we got to take a nice walk along the waterfront first.) Valet was $5. We told the host we wanted to sit outside and he told us there was no seating outside. We were a little confused since there were people obviously sitting outside. We came back about 45 minutes later and talked to someone else. He told us there was seating outside but it would be very cold seeing that it is literally hanging over the water. I believed him and opted for a window seat which we then had to wait another 10 minutes for. My boyfriend and I went to the bar and ordered some vodka tonics. The bartender there was nice and even let me try one of the other drinks (in a sanitary way!) she was making. We were seated about 10 minutes later in the dining room. The table was very nice. We had cushy couches with cushions and as everyone has pointed out, this place has very interesting decor. Its like modern meets rustic with metal AND greens. One of the first things I noticed is that the menu was pretty small. I guess there IS 4 seafood specialties, 4 meat specialties and then a list of dishes below labeled "simply put." To me, the dishes "simply put" were out of the consideration. They are cheaper, but they seemed more plain, no one pushed them and this was a nice night for us. I wish I saw one entree that really jumped out to me more, but who knows. They change the menu seasonally. We decided to order: - hamachi and tuna crudo: lemon segments, peppercress, pink peppercorn, crispy young garlic, fleur de sel and avocado (appetizer) -Pan Roasted Halibut: Roasted fennel, pea tendrils, manila clams, english peas, sweet peppers and lobster lemon emulsion (his entree) -Grilled Blue Marlin: spring vegetable ragout, crisp calamari salad, citrus vinaigrette and charred onion crème fraiche (my entree) - 1/2 bottle of Sonoma-Cutrer, Chardonnay, Russian River, California 2007 -1 glass of port (his dessert) -Lavender-honey creme brulee with chocolate (my dessert) I think the hamachi and tuna crudo was the star of the meal. There were lovely lemon and crunchy (garlic?) bits seasoned in. The avocodo puree was great and nothing overpowered the delicious fish, especially the hamachi. The fish dishes were both nice as well. I really liked the creme fraiche on my blue marlin. I ended up asking for more because it paired really well with the fish. I was a little underwhelmed by the overall styling of the dish in terms of plating and side dishes, but at least mine had vegetables! My boyfriend's was halibut in sauce. Good sauce, don't get me wrong, but nothing else. The lavender in the creme brulee was non-existent and the honey was very mild. It did come with a delicious piece of rich chocolate. I enjoyed it as a honey-ish creme brulee. Just drop the lavender from the name! The service was good. Our waitress was nice and had a good attitude. When I flagged her down for creme fraiche, she came immediately and overall, had good timing. The view was amazing but the outside definitely is not as nice and looked very cold. I'm really happy with where we ended up sitting. When I think of this visit, I can't help but compare it to our trip to ART. Both are upscale, fancy hotel restaurants. I do like Six Seven better. It's shining stars are really the ambiance, decor and view. My friend said that fancy hotel restaurant food is always good, but not groundbreaking and I think that sums it up. Everything tasted great, but I wouldn't elevate the food to a 5 star level. I would give the ambience/view 5 stars and food and service 4 stars each. I would say that I had a great time here (the company would have a lot to do with it too.) It was a romantic birthday dinner and he knows I like fancy restaurants. I think the restaurant is very nice, but there were just a few tweaks and improvements to be made.

This review consists of the dinner and the breakfast we had during our stay at Edgewater Hotel. Dinner I didn't have very high expectations for my dinner there given it is situated inside the hotel, but we were tired from touring Seattle all day so we made a reservation at Six Seven for convenience sake. Must try the mussels. The flavoring was just right with the lemon/white wine. The mussels themselves were the freshest I have ever tasted - they have this fresh seafood sweetness to it that is to die for! We also had the duck, which was also amazing! We ordered the scallops also, which were very good, but I think the mussels and ducks set the standards so high that I didn't care for the scallops too much. Dessert, however, was a dud. We wanted the apple tart, but it was sold out. We ended up trying the lavender creme brulee, which was not bad, but not the best I have ever had. Overall, this is a GREAT restaurant to go and have some good food with family and friends, but this place would rock even more if you were going on a romantic date with someone special. ::heart:: Breakfast Breakfast was equally awesome. The view of the pier from the restaurant in the morning is something completely totally different in a very very good way. It is just so different from the nighttime view but just as breathtaking. The breakfast was very good. A bit pricey, but it was so worth it. I would really come back to this hotel to stay just for the view from the hotel and the amazing Six Seven Restaurant.

Six Seven has great view and I've always had great experience, but they disappointed me on my Mother's day Brunch Buffet last Sunday. I was very excited that I found reservation on Mother's day even though it was late like 2 pm. Everything could of been fine until I had to spend almost 20 min waiting for their employee to come out from handicapped access bathroom doing her make up and hair. I had crying baby who need to change diapers badly, Six Seven hostess was taking her time doing her make up... We did like quality of foods, but definitely not a good place go for Mother's day brunch with family. I had 7 months old baby needed diaper change in their only changing room or Handicapped capability bathroom. We knocked on the door someone was in the handicapped access bathroom which has diaper changing station. We waited more than 15 min, baby was crying loudly and no one came out. for almost now 20 minutes. Finally lady come out, she was a Hostess at the Six Seven Restaurant doing her Make up & hair while my baby was crying for 15-20 min outside waiting. I asked multiple employees while I was waiting if there is any other bathroom or place to change diapers but they said that's the only one for handicapped access. Please train your employees better especially on Mother's day when there were some babies, kids, and some people who need handicapped access to use bathroom or don't plan anything for Mother's day if not ready for that. I've been going to Six Seven for last at least 10 years, and it was the Most Frustrating moment. Reason At least I am giving 2 star because of quality foods that they serve and view.

I don't eat on the pier much, but I think I should more often Six Seven is the perfect place for a date. We went for restaurant week on a Thursday night. They didn't have any window seats available but we got a nice booth towards the back. The ambience is mellow and I love the mini beaded chandeliers hanging over the booth tables. Started off with the butternut squash and blt salad -don't get too full off their bread! We ordered the cedar plank salmon and the braised short rrib as our main course and they were both very good. The salmon came with just the right amount of vegetables and potaoes placed around on the plank. The short rib- mmhmm juicy and topped with pecan smoked bacon. (bacon, yess!) I reccommend sharing dessert unless you want to try more than one, the cheescake was definitely more than you can ask for. Loooved the berries and vanilla whip on the panna cotta.. it would have tasted better if i ordered a latte! I want to come back in the summer time, the view looks so awesome fromt the dining deck.

Surprised my Mom for Sunday brunch here for an early Mother's Day celebration. Neither of us had ever been here. And, what a fabulous experience. The decor is fun and funky. The seating is very comfortable. Definitely have to get a window seat to enjoy the view while enjoying your food! They won't reserve a window seat for you but you can usually wait for one to open up. There is limited seating so I would recommend a reservation. You can use valet parking for $6, which is added to your meal ticket. We did the Sunday Brunch special...$25 each for a mimosa or glass of champagne, one choice from the First Affair, one choice from the Main Event or Benedicts, and one dessert. Mimosas: heavy on the champagne but tasty! First Affair: -Broiled Grapefruit - very light hint of brown sugar; unable to taste the spiced rum. -Short Stack - much, much too big for a starter. 3 good size pancakes. The maple butter was great but only finished one pancake. Main Event: -Chicken & Waffles- Mom enjoyed this savory dish. Mom doesn't like runny egg yolks and the menu didn't mention it would have a poached egg on top. She moved it to the side and cleaned her plate! -Croque Madame - yum! I loved every bite of this beautiful concoction! The spiced hollandaise was great. It was missing the asparagus mentioned in the menu but I didn't mind at all! Dessert: -Honey Lavender Creme Brulee - light and good. The honey was very evident but the lavender was nonexistent. -Triple Chocolate Mouse - Quite great tasting! This was our favorite over the Creme Brulee. Overall, a wonderful experience. I would love to have dinner here some time!

BEST CHOWDER EVER! Deserves 6 stars for fresh, classic simplicity at it's best. WORST WAFFLE EVER! Deadest, palest saddest excuse for room service breakfast. The high prices and just good enough food (except that AMAZING chowder) bring this down a few notches. I thought the back lit menus in the lounge were very cool and modern but slightly blinding in the otherwise darkly lit room. It was beautiful view from our room.

Went with three others. We ordered 3 appetizers, 3 entrees, 2 sides, 2 desserts, and coffees all around. O.o The desserts pushed us a little over the edge - and we normally don't eat that much - but other than that, it was a pretty fitting amount. I know, for people who don't eat that much, it sounds like MUCHO. But the portions are not that big. It was appropriate for us because it was all of our first times, so we wanted to try a bit of everything - so that's what we did. Family Style - shared it all. Overall - pleased! Peaceful view - went at 630 - perfect for a sunset. Yes, we made reservations. We were sat inside, in comfortable sofas, with multiple pillows - but it wasn't too squishy - like we weren't too sunken in - it was a comfortable eating seat. With a cool view. Sun was in my eyes for a while - so I wore sunglasses inside - a little tacky but it had to be done. You can find pictures of all of the following in the photos section. King crab risotto - Very lemony. Alright. Not amazing. Yeah, just very lemony. Beetsroot salad - Good! I like beets. Yellow and Red beets. Arugula pear salad - Good. Pears weren't ripe - I'm not sure if that was on purpose or not. They were kind of sour and crunchy instead of soft and sweet. But the walnuts and their raspberry sauce was so good. Scallops - Good! Fat scallops. We each had one. (4 came out) Very meaty. Halibut - balsamic vinaigrette and oil. Alright. Kinda sweet. Otherwise, not much taste. Nothing fabulous. Bouillabaisse - not too great. The soup base was alright - pretty flavorful. But the flavor didn't translate well into the Mussel, calamari, potato, salmon, halibut, and shrimp that came with it. Sounds like a lot of good seafood - but wasn't an impressive dish overall. Lobster Mac and cheese - lobster was really good! Very cheesy. Pasta was good too. It kind of had a cheap taste - maybe just a lot of cheese going on - but the lobster was so Asparagus - small and tasty. A bit salty. Honey Lavender Creme Brulee - Lavender wasn't too strong! It was pretty good. Again, not blown away by it, but it was good. I love my creme brulee. Raspberry Panna Cotta - THIS was good. I recommend this dessert. It was a good creamy taste, on the lighter side, and the chianti huckleberries were so good! Must try. All split between 4 ppl. I don't know how much the bill came out to be but everything was fairly pricey - esp for the proportion they give.

This place would get five stars just for being easily accessible (at the north end of the waterfront, it was easy to avoid the hordes, and the affordable valet made parking a breeze) and for the perfect atmosphere - the restaurant is lovely, open and sweeping, with amazing from views from pretty much any spot. When we arrived on a sunny Sunday, we were able to be seated immediately at our choice of tables. The staff was friendly and helpful, and did I mention that the view is amazing? Sure, it's a wee bit pricey, but not really, considering that the Bloody Marys are large and delicious, and not only was my Crab Benedict perfectly prepared, but featured *GASP!* real pieces of fresh crab, not some cheaply made crab cake made from shredded canned crab. My husband has the three course special that comes with a mimosa - he chose the Layered Smoothie (WOW!, it was awesome), the delicious Chicken and Waffles, and an amazing apple dessert. Not only was it absolutely worth the price, but we noticed that it looks like they have a fantastic happy hour, which we plan to return for at some point.

Absolutely can't beat the gorgeous view on the patio here. The food was amazing - I tried the lobster tortellini and the halibut, and my husband had the crab legs. We were both impressed! Perfect special occasion spot. Only downside was that service (both at the bar and our dinner waitress) was pretty slow. We weren't in a rush, but how long does it take to pour a glass of wine and a beer? Still a solid 4 stars from me.

Came here for Sunday brunch after spending a night at the hotel for a girls weekend shopping trip. Was not impressed...at...all. The harbor views from the restaurant warrant a mention because they are indeed fantastic. It's really too bad that's really the only redeeming quality of the restaurant. Brunch service was aggravatingly slow and inattentive at best.It took ages for someone to come over and take our order, and then ages for the food to actually come out. Our food was across the board unappetizing. However, the Eggs Sardou I ordered takes the cake for worst dish of the table. On the menu it's described as poached eggs with "braised artichoke hearts, creamed spinach, roasted tomatoes, hollandaise and crisp leeks." What I got was two poached eggs nested in BAKED POTATO halves on a bed of creamed spinach & hollandaise sauce. Um...did they run out of artichoke hearts? crispy leeks? Why was there no mention of the potato which made up half the dish? Perhaps this review would've been different another day, another meal, another server. Too bad I'll never find out because there are way too many great restaurants in Seattle for me to take a risk on a second chance.

This is a case of stunning location and atmosphere with mediocre food and service. Bento box for lunch under delivered. Needed a microscope to locate the salmon in the salmon sandwich. tuna melt was, well, a tuna melt. Service by an undertrained but nice lady in a busy place meant we were all but ignored. Admittedly, we drank several glasses of wine had dessert and was pleasantly surprised at the tab. It was pleasingly low. Maybe it's because we eat in CA a lot?

The moment my parents arrived @ Seatac, they said "let's have some lunch". Hmmm... did you make a reservation Mom because we're a big group? Fast-forward. Their private room's view (forest room) is spectacular. The room is very private but you have an access to a deck which is really sweet. Their plated luncheon is also amazing (yummy swordfish). Customer service is topnotch. Helpful but not over the top. I'll definitely visit this place again this summer for sure.

We ate breakfast here one morning while staying in the Edgewater hotel (see separate hotel review). The service was great, the view was amazing, and the menu was respectable. There are two things making this a 2-star review rather than a 3- or 4-star: BUTTER and SALT Wanting something basic with some nutritional value, I ordered the Lodge Breakfast (2 eggs, bacon or sausage, toast, and a "baked potato cake"). The server was nice enough to let me get fruit instead of meat. I'm not sure why he just asked, "Wheat toast for you?" when we got that far. I asked if there were other options and there were, like, 6 different kinds of toast and muffins to choose from; why not give me the options to begin with? English muffin, please! My boyfriend got the Roasted Vegetable Omelet. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time looking lovely, but.... Butter. Soooo much butter in my scrambled eggs. Same with his omelet. Why did they feel the need to add a stick of butter to the eggs?? They actually left a greasy, buttery slime trail on my plate. I just wanted eggs!! The little baked potato square was downright greasy and holy crapcake, it was salty. My bf, who usually devours all things potato, couldn't eat it. My English muffin was, you guessed it, drowning in butter. The server brought out the cutest little jar of strawberry jam ahead of our food, but sadly I couldn't use it because the strawberry-and-butter combo didn't sound good. Better believe I took my teeny jam jar with me, though! Everything was a touch pricy, but about what you'd expect for breakfast in a hotel. It would have been quite good if not for all that butter and salt.

One of my hubby and I's favourite Seattle Restaurants, hands down. Great location (water front), gorgeous atmosphere and to die for food, we have made this our regular dinner spot for our mini vacays with friends and familes. Loved the atmosphere, but most everything else fell flat. We went for Father's Day brunch, so I expected it to be a little hectic. But, it really wasn't that crowded. Nonetheless, we got a tag team approach to service that left us wanting. At one point, we had waited so long for attention that I had to get up and grab someone. I ran out of water twice. We had to beg for bread because the food took so long. We didn't get an apology for the slow service - only a charge for the bread! When we finally got our food, the portions were small and everything was WAY too salty (and I like my salt). I ended up having to eat two more slices of bread after the meal just to fill up. On the plus side, the dishes were creative, well-presented, and nicely cooked (other than the heaping saltiness). So, I'll give them another shot, but will aim for a time when they're empty.

I took my mom and sister, who were visiting from out of state, here for drinks and desserts after dinner at another restaurant. The view of course can not be beat, the bar area and restaurant are very high end and swanky, the service however sucked. We arrived around 8 and the entire bar was empty and only 2 tables seated in the restaurant, but it was a Monday night so no big deal for us. The bar menus have their own build in light so you can read and they can keep the light nice and low. We sat down and started picking our drinks when the waitress attacks my sister and demands to see for her id, she only 18, she says we cant sit in the bar. Sure no problem, I understand the crazy laws in WA are what they are, so we ask for a table in the restaurant, which is 5 feet away and only separated by a fireplace. She said no, the dining room is only for full service dinner?! What?! There were literally 5 other people in the entire restaurant. I pressed her and asked please could we just do drinks and dessert at a table in the dining room, she refuses. This back and forth went back and forth for 5 min, she was unwilling to accommodate us. We are standing there basically being told we don't want to serve you. I understand having rules for the dining room but when you have zero customers, I don't see the problem. Beyond disappointed.

This is a very delayed reviewed...but deserved. Make sure to come here on a beautiful Seattle evening for dinner. The view is amazing! This restaurant is tucked back in the historic Edgewater Hotel with seating practically hanging over Puget Sound. To start, the bread they bring is great! They have great salads and appetizers too. Their entrees are delicious. Of course they have phenomenal seafood options, but other choices for you non-seafood lovers. We didn't get dessert but they had a lot of choices that sounded great. This restaurant is a little bit pricey, but they can get away with it because of the PRIME location and view that comes with your meal. If you are looking for a nice restaurant for a celebration, date, or just simply want to splurge and treat yourself try this place out!

THANKSGIVING FAIL Price $70 for 1 crab cake, 1 small arugula salad and a plate of turkey and dessert. 5:30 reservation did not get seated until 6:30 Pervasive bad energy because everyone was pissed at the dysfunction and wait. Trickled down to impact the staff who were trying desperately to keep it together. Tough to work on Thanksgiving and deal with irate customers. Food is good here and the location is one of my favs in Seattle. That being said they need to get out of the Thanksgiving business. What made it worse was that upon arriving on time we were told they were clearing our table and then we waited for an hour. It would have been better if they had been forthcoming from the get go and then give us the option of whether to wait or not. As it was this was prepaid with no cancellations so we were stuck. Not really conducive to an enjoyable holiday meal. Will look for another venue next year .

I'm a regular here. I'd had a couple super slow services here but it looks like they fixed that problem. The food here is consistently good. I've gone back several more times since my last review for lunch and brunch and was very happy with their service and food.

Absolutely loved my minestrone soup and portobello grilled cheese sandwich. The bento was a good idea, because I got to try all the things I was interested in, for a good price. The portions were just right for me. The reason why I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is the desserts. We got both the lava cake and the strawberry lemon bar. The lava cake was definitely not chocolatey enough, and the grilled strawberries were awkward for the lemon bar. The meringue tasted a bit gassy (???) but could've been interested had it covered the entire lemon bar. Meh. The desserts were meh. I would have enjoyed my meal much more had I /not/ tried the desserts. View was nice! Service was a bit awkward. Food was great.

The Six-Seven is my absolute favorite brunch spot in all of Seattle. I regularly order the eggs benedict with bacon--perfection! The food is delicious, the view is fantastic and the staff are incredible. Our favorite waitress Marlaine has such a sparkling personality and love for people. On our walk about the city my friend and I decided to stop into the bar and have a glass of wine and a little bite to eat. It was a super hot and gorgeous Friday night so we were surprised that we didn't have to wait to be seated on the outdoor patio. Right on the dock we sat and drank wine and watched the sunset. We shared the Truffle French Fries- LOVED them! Service was wonderful!

The roasted Mussels were among the best I've ever had. The scallops and steak were both incredible as well. Our server was engaging and attentive. Went here to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. It did not disappoint. I don't have time to write a long review but I do want to let it be known this is a 5 star place! Ate there last night in a private dining room on an upper floor for 30 people. No issues with the food or service. When we went to pick up our cars at Valet, they charged us $20 since we "did not eat at the restaurant". When we argued that we had food from the restaurant, they did not budge and stated that was the rate. One of my co-workers told me today that he was charged only $12. I considered this to be outlandish and I will never park at Valet again.

Absolutely Stunning!! Ambiance - Check! View - Check! Food - Check! Service - Check! Company - Check! Prices - Check! We came here for Seattle Restaurant Week and I was simply amazed. I could not stop staring outside. Gorgeous views! The decor was a bit odd but it really worked for the place. I really wanted to move the branches. Every little detail fit perfectly. Yes, bread basket included. I was kind of bummed they ran out of the lamb but the risotto did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. This was the best dining experience ever!

Found this place through yelp. With great reviews that patrons have rated how can we not celebrate our good friends birthday Here. Lets start with the CONS: This place is extremely dark. Bring a flashlight. It was hard to read the menu. Believe it or not but i used the light on my camera phone to see the menu. Our wait time here has taken pretty long. With our party size we could understand the wait time. Anticipating a mind blowing dinner we all (12 of us) were unsatisfied. Don't care for the portion size and money is not an issue but everything was SALTY. Well our appetizers where on point but the main dishes were salty. 12 dishes extremely salty. My brother order a steak and was the first to complain so He was offered a new steak and when it came out there was no flavor. It goes to show how incompetent the chefs are. We are pretty sure they were mad and said salty! fine lets see if they like it with no salt then. Probably. My brother then asked for the pork chop instead. The server said the chef said it was saltier than the steak. Wow! What a sad birthday dinner. $800 down the drain. Not all was bad.The servers are extremely attentive and pleasant but with that alone couldnt hold the wieght up for 6/7. We shall never step foot in here again.

If you have family visiting and want to seriously impress, the brunch here cannot be beat. The place is chic, comfortable and elegant, with magnificent views. A glass of champagne accompanied by eggs benny is the perfect to linger on a sunny Sunday morning. The service was also very good.

Beautiful view and beautiful bar. I've stayed in the hotel a few times recently and really enjoyed the setting. Happy Hour food is pretty good. Nothing to write home about, but solid. The rough thing about hotel bars is that they have to have a certain pull to get non-tourists in. Down on Pier 67, its a bit out of the way, and clientele is mostly stuffy business travel people. They have live music, friendly staff, but I have a hard time thinking this is a destination restaurant. If you're at the hotel, however, definitely worth a visit for a nice bite to eat.

I came here with Minda W during the last Restaurant Week, getting in on some 3 for $25 awesomeness. It was so long ago that I can't remember the exact dishes we ordered, but there were two salads (one of them being the arugula and pear), a vegetarian risotto, the halibut, and some dessert. The salads were definitely among the better ones that I've had, but the risotto (much to my surprise, because I'm not fond of risotto, and this was only ordered because they'd run out of chicken) was easily the best dish I had that night, and also the best risotto I've ever had to date. The halibut, sadly, was not particularly notable, and neither were the desserts. The decor of the place is pleasant, and the view from the restaurant (especially if you're lucky enough to be seated near a window) are quite spectacular. Service, of course, was top-notch. Which leaves me in a bit of a pickle when it comes to assigning the actual score - half of the meal I really liked, while the other half wasn't nearly as impressive. Almost a four, but I think I'll have to give Six Seven 3.5 stars here.

Fine. Not great and honestly, not worth the very high price. Was there on a beautiful Seattle summer night and the outside seating is so bright with no umbrella that we chose to sit inside. Which sort of defeats the purpose of a waterfront restaurant. We were by the window but you don't actually feel waterfront. And the food was fine. I'm a vegetarian and took out of town guests here. I wanted them to have a nice northwest dinner. I really wish I would go a restaurant that isn't a vegetarian restaurant, and when the wait staff hear that I'm a vegetarian they say "oh, we have some great options for you". I mean, offer me a plate of sides. That would be fine. But I ended up with the mushroom ragout but they had to take some ingredients out if it so it was basically dry mushrooms in a skillet. That, roasted asparagus and a salad and it costs $65. Ok. A couple glasses of wine in there too. But I'm home feeling less than excited about this meal. Really people. It's not that hard to make vegetarians happy. And we have meat eating friends and guests that we want to take out on the town.

I'm sure it's good here. I yelped it before we made reservations. Pretty cool spot, real dark for me. Good for daters. I order the 10oz sirloin w/mash & mushrooms. Everything came out Salty. The chef a salty tongue. Family order the salmon and that too was salty. Waiter suggested that I reorder and get another steak. So I did.....came out medium rare and NO flavor. I gave up.

Beautiful views. Wonderful food. Nice decor. These things are what would usually constitute a recommendation or a 5 star rating in my book. However the service here was mediocre at best. Upon my arrival I was impressed by the beautiful views overlooking the water. Definitely a good place to for a romantic date during sunset. I noticed however that tables around us were not getting their food very quickly. I overheard one woman saying to the server "I don't want to wait any longer. I've waited long enough". As Lucille Bluth would say, "this does not bode well." Long story short, I food took FOREVER to get out. The kitchen was clearly disorganized and backed up. I wouldn't hold this against the serving staff, however when I went to go ask the manager what was going he was just like "oh we're really busy. sorry." and that was it. If your customer has been waiting 30+ minutes for their brunch at least offer them another mimosa or something. Our waitress herself never came by to apologize until she brought the bill and asked us to fill out a survey about her. Umm, no thank you please. I will say that the food was delicious though when it finally came. Dungeons crab cake eggs benedict was really good. Overall this had the makings of an incredible brunch experience but soiled by poor service. Here's a tip though. Great deal for brunch! Starter, main dish, dessert and mimosa for $25.

This is a late review from last summer. I will start off by saying I have stayed at the Edgewater several times and have enjoyed it. Decided to stop by for some drinks and happy hour. Walked in, sat down in a nice center seat where we could take in the beautiful view as well as people watch. We sat, and sat, and sat. Passed by the same waitress at least 6 times, passed by another a couple more. Attempted to make VERY obvious eye contact with everyone who passed by as well as the employees as the were picking up food and the expediter. Mind you, the place was NOT busy at all. After approximately 20 plus minutes we were able to get a menu. Waited another 10 plus with no return for water, drink orders etc etc. I can say with all honesty that I will NEVER EVER set foot in that place again and I have made it my mission to tell everyone who shabby the service was. This was bar none the WORST experience I have ever had in my dining lifetime. I will admit that we were dressed very casually as it was a beautiful Seattle day and we were basically hanging out and being tourists, but wait staff and managers should remember, people like me have no problem dropping very very significant amounts of money on food and drink when treated appropriately. There is also the issue of how many clients I will NOT be entertaining at your venue. I sincerely hope this isn't the case for anyone else who dines here, I only need to be treated like that once. I wish I had more hands so I could give this place 4 thumbs down.

The views here are absolutely spectacular. I usually find that restaurants like this don't have great food. However; the place has great food. Chowder, mussels, fries and bread. were my choices and they sure were good. I had great service on my visit. It was also a beautiful day and watching the sun set certainly added to the ambiance. I absolutely will revisit this place and would highly recommend it.

The first time I came here was for drinks and to watch Michael Wastman play I think on a Friday night (maybe 1 year ago) in the bar/lounge. We had a good time and you seriously can't beat the view here, its gorgeous, so I wanted to come back during the day. I came back for Sunday brunch and had one of the best crab cakes topped with a perfectly poached egg. The crab cake was light and fresh and not sodden with mayo. Others I was with had the lobster hash and benedicts, which they all enjoyed. Service was great too.

Fancy Schmancy on the waterfront! Ok so I have to admit that every time I've come to the Sex Seven at the Edgewater Hotel, it's been for a private party hosted in their bar. So my experience is mainly about their private events, not their restaurant. But... they do fabulous private parties. You get the entire bar area & part of the outdoor seating area for the exclusive use of the private party. The cater the most delicious food, especially their cheeses. They can make some signature drinks. And did I talk about the view... the view is incredible! Wish they had more outdoor seating & more window seating. The bathrooms are just so-so. Parking sucks. You have to either find street parking or the valet cost like $7-$15 depending on the event you go to. It's not a flat rate, it's based on your event (which doesn't make much sense to me). Oh and I do like the decor & the bar area... very nice.

It is inside the Edgewater Hotel and there is no marking outside. You just have to know a great restaurant is inside. Enter the door, veer left, go around and find the bar. The restaurant is connected to the bar area. The view is spectacular. The setting sun is bright, but not blinding or too warm. The water is beautiful and the patio sitting has good warming arrangement against Seattle's chilling evenings. But we sat inside. The waitress took the order without writing it down and got everything right. That's a nice trick. I ordered the standard offered Zin and it was delicious as expected. For appetizer, I order the Penn Cove Mussels. Perfectly steamed in rich sauce. I soaked as much as I can with the bread and couldn't have enough. Good thing my entree was half-ordered swordfish. It was perfectly cooked with interesting garnish. The side of Puree Potato (ordered separately) was amazingly light and delicious. Everyone was happy with their orders: Salmon, Halibut, and Scallops. For desserts, I had the Espresso Creme Brulee and almost tried to lick it clean. Other had Lemon Meringue tart. I usually avoid lemon desserts, they offered me a bite and I actually finished a third of it. Yes, it was pricy. But it is the perfect restaurant to dazzle out-of-towners and celebrate that special occassions.

Had dinner here for my birthday and I loved it SO much! The waiters drink recommendations were perfect and when our food came out, the busboy came with our food and said happy birthday to me. I thought that was awesome! The food was incredible! So juicy, tasty and delicious! Get the steak with mashed potatoes and the basil chicken, OH MY GOSH SO YUMMY! Best view is sitting by the window an hour before sunset, which is what my boyfriend planned, a must do place to visit when in Seattle for an incredible dinner!

MY FAVORITE FANCY RESTAURANT in Seattle! If I could afford to eat more here, I totally would. The location by the water is beautiful, the cocktails are some of the best in town, and all of their food is amazing (it's not too heavy on the sauces/flavoring which I like since some places put too much flavoring which overpowers the food). The location by the water is really romantic and I highly recommend taking your significant other here. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Wow...I will be back again soon! :) Plus, the Beatles stayed at the Edgewater Hotel (where the restaurant is in) when they were in Seattle ;)

I came here for lunch on a beautiful day. The place has a great view and unique decor. On to the food: Pros: - Raspberry lemonade has real raspberries! - Fish and chips. Batter nice light and crisp, fish tender, plenty of fries, though nothing special, comes with greens salad. - Clam chowder is delicious. Cons: - Molten chocolate torte was not dark chocolate enough and the strawberry Pinot noir sauce made it over the top sweet.

Great view. Inconsistent service. We've eaten here a few times: once for dinner and about three times for bites and a glass of wine. Service has varied between clipped & decent in the lounge to attentive in main restaurant. The food is generally above average. Great views of Elliot Bay and West Seattle. Our last visit, however, took the cake. We arrive at around 9:30 pm for desert and perhaps a drink. After waiting about five minutes for the host to finish obsessing over this camera, he found a moment to recognize us and waive us over to a booth. After waiting another 10 minutes our server arrived to deliver drink menus while simultaneously asking for our drink order. Is this a test? She then immediately spun around on her heals and took off without even pausing to ask if we were interested in food--which is why we are there in the first place. After waiting for another 15 minutes without even a hint of service, we brought our surreal saga to an end by leaving.

If I have to number my christmas, it would be 67. The service, view and food were all phenomenal on Christmas day. The set menu was planned perfectly. We love the crab cake, it melt right in your mouth. Awesome. A sorbet came after the appertizer, topped with spiced, chillied pineapple. Very refreshing. Entrees were also out of the world. I think it was some kind of red wine sauce(with apple) went with the sea bass and the pork shoulder was served on a pot. Love them. Can't miss the dessert buffet, cheesecakes were a hit! I wish I could live there.

Very crowded, noisy, and expensive. Limited menu of decidedly mediocre quality. Waitstaff were overworked but doing their best, the hostess was very unpleasant. Take in the free view from the public waterfront, then go somewhere else to eat.

I recently stopped in a twice when I was in town for a conference, as it was convenient and I dig their decor, location and views. The food/drinks are solid but nothing to write home about. One of the two visits was meh but the the second trip was made better by Bri who proved herself as a personable server who was knowledgable about the menu/the area and happy to offer recommendations. I'll probably go back next time I'm in town.

I have been here a few times for lunch, and each time I leave, I know I want to go back. I had one of their "combo lunches" the other day with a soup, salad and half sandwich that was a fantastic deal for $12. I had a turkey, cranberry and goat cheese grill-wich that was so good that I wished I had ordered the full one. Also, they make some crispy potato chips with rosemary that are awesome. It is not the cheapest place you can go, but you get very good food for what you pay for, and you have an awesome view to top it off.

I love eating lunch at the Edgewater hotel. It is by far the best view on the water front. They have a great combination deal for lunch plus a fantastic dinner menu. I have had the scallops and also tried my friend's halibut. DELICOUS. Great service and atmosphere. The decor is kind of like older man's hunting lodge meets contemporary urban posh. I like it!

There's good news and bad news for the restaurant located on Pier 67. Good news: one of the most intriguing decors of any Seattle restaurant. It's a mix of a trendy hotel lounge, hunting lodge (especially with the tree branch decorations), and cruise ship (with the drapes and waterfront views). They have an innovative beet salad -- served three ways. Beets can be fun! Bad news: entrees were ordinary. Halibut was not fresh. Dessert, as my date put it, did not seem to be made from scratch. I would not come here again for dinner, but I do think it's a unique place for happy hour drinks -- especially with the waterfront views.

Perfect. Absolutely perfect. Went for Happy Hour with a friend - the yummiest pineapple martini things ever! Skip the shamui plate but go for the truffle fries BIG Time!!!!! The cheesecake (pistachio crusted) was absolutely amazing. Service and setting were perfect.

A series of really bad events due to awful service. After careful searching I decided to celebrate my sister's graduation at 6/7, everybody had great experiences and the location on the water couldn't be better. Reservation: we had reservations at 8:00 PM. and we arrived at 7:50. Valet service was great. But the hostess couldn't seat us because our table wasn't ready, which was OK, we were early. We decided to go to the Lounge and enjoy a drink with the fantastic view. Lounge: There was a cluster of 8 seats taken by 2 people for their "late" party. We couldn't find a seat and the bar waitress was rude when we asked who to order drinks from. She directed us to the bartender, which had an even worse attitude. Finally we order drinks and found a table. Immediately after drinks the bartender showed up with the bill in hand demanding payment or a credit card to secure it. I thought he could have addressed it in other ways, part of the reason of us waiting was that our table was not ready. Drink in hand at 8:35 (yes, 35 minutes late) we got a table. This where the really bad part starts. Dinner: We were seated, and I tried to switch seats with my cousin to block the sunlight from my brother's face. When I moved my chair slightly back, a waiter hit someone in the other table with an empty wineglass and yell "Dude! what did you do???" (yes. he called me Dude). Then he proceeded to reprimand my actions and told me that I should go and apologize to the person he hit. I said I am sorry out of politeness and she had a fit, started crying and yelling. Then her husband came to my table and said we (as if I had punch her) ruined their night. They, of course demanded to be comped, and got it. hen leaving the really rude girl that got hit in the head, started to yell at me, something I ignored. Our waitress: She took 1:15 (yes, one hour and 15 mins) to take our order, even though I asked her nicely 3 times. Her excuse was that she was busy helping "other tables", which I can translate into our table was not important. Finally she took the order, we had to ask another server to get us some wine. I must say, water service is impeccable. My sister and I ordered the tasting menu, something I usually do to try a variety of dishes, plus I order a Hamachi "Crudo". She then proceeded to explain that a tasting menu is not just one dish, but a series of courses (lol, as if I didn't know what I was ordering) and that I would have to pay extra for the Hamachi (at which I laughed, I wanted to taste the Hamachi and of course was going to pay for it) Everybody else ordered salmon or a derivation of salmon (we are all visiting Seattle and wanted to get the salmon). The Hamachi was great, perfect combination of ingredients. After that we went 30 minutes with no food (yes I just had the Hamachi, no one else got anything. I must say that the tasting menu is nothing to rave about. pretty flavorless seared Ahi Tuna, followed by a rubbery rib eye. But the main problem was that no one had any food at this point. They brought the other plates after our rib-eye (total time since we arrived with no food for my family = 3:00 hours. Their salmons were really overcooked, I am assuming the waitress forgot the plates under the red lamps which ruined the fish. Mid way I asked for a bottle of Pinot Noir Rose, which was questioned 2 times by the waitress. I wanted something cool and sweet to sip. She said "if I knew that I was ordering a rose and not a red" Finally, we finished our meals and my sister and I were waiting for dessert (included in the tasting). No one else felt like having any, and she said "Who is going to take care of the bill, with a bill holder in hand. I demanded our tasting menu desserts and I complained to her that the service was really bad from start to finish. Her fantastic response to that was to offer 2 (in a party of seven) ice creams to share. Finally they added our tip to the bill, which is customary, and not took it off when I requested them to do so. Our experience was really bad, and I understand that restaurants are busy, but come one, I can take one or two "bad things" when dining out, not a whole evening of mishappenings. I think this is due to really bad attention to detail. Thank God I can go back to Multicultural Toronto, where service is great (at the upscale places) and where I am not going to be called dude or judged because I speak Spanish with my party. The worst part is how they handle bad situations. If you have a special occasion, please do yourself a favor and avoid the risk of "bad things happening" by not booking 6/7 Otherwise, go there for the amazing view and the great decor, as for the rest, don't expect much.

Brought my mom here for dinner during her visit from Denver. She wanted "really good seafood, some place on the water". Since we have never dined at 6/7 and it had good reviews, we made a reservation. Don't get me wrong, it was possibly the best little beet salad I have had in a very long time. The entrees were tasty too...but the service...was...slow. It was a Saturday evening and the room was getting more crowded as the night went on, but considering the price tag, I expected more. In fact they realized our entrees were slow to arrive when the manager walked over to let us know "they would be right out"...only to be waiting still 20 minutes later. Honestly we weren't thinking it was TOO long when he came to our table, but the fact that he acknowledged it, then it still took 20 minutes was a little weird. Then when we decided to share a dessert between the 3 of us, we asked for some things on the side (which normally come stacked on top)...our waitress said "no problem", and low & behold it came out without our stuff on the side. (Then our waitress came over with a hurried "sorry about that"). Another comment unrelated to the service - don't expect to find much wine under $50/bottle (even in the domestic section!). I know it is a nice restaurant - I guess if I would have known, I probably just would have brought my own good bottle & paid corkage. Aside from decent food, the best part was the water guy. My glass was never below 1/4 full, he poured it from way high without a mess & he actually looked like he loved his job. I guess I would have at least liked some acknowledgement that things didn't go as expected. An offer for a free dessert or even just an apology. To add insult to injury, we still had to pay $5 for the valet (plus tip of course)!

My daughter's boyfriend's family stays at the Edgewater every time they are visiting from the East Coast. During their last visit, they invited us to join them for breakfast at the Six-Seven (we had never been, but had heard raving reviews). The Six-Seven completely exceeded our expectations! We had a wonderful spread and everything was delicious! Marlaine was our waitress (specially requested) and she was incredibly attentive and sociable. Our breakfast was delicious and Marlaine was so dear. We look forward to our next dining experience at the Six-Seven and will undoubtedly request Marlaine again. Thanks for a wonderful meal and fabulous service!

We spent a week in Seattle and decided to try happy hour here since our condo was near by. We loved it so much, we went back for another happy hour and a third time for Sunday brunch. The happy hour food offerings were terrific as were the speciality drinks. The drinks were strong and BIG. Also, the view from the bar and the restaurant can't be beat. We had wonderful service from 3 different waitresses. In our opinion, it just doesn't get any better than this place for happy hour.

This review pertains to Happy Hour at Six Seven only, not brunch or dinner. I really, really want to give Six Seven more than 2/5, but I am consistently disappointed when I go. The bar/restaurant has the raw ingredients to be superb, but they miss on a couple of key fronts. Good: - Location, location, location - the view is beyond staggering and they have done the room very nicely - Food - very happy here. The tuna tacos and asparagus 'fries' are my personal favorites Bad: - Service - the servers themselves are ok, and professional, if a little brusque. The real problem is the speed. It is super slow. Slow to be greeted, slow to have the order taken, slow for the check. Slow. It is such a shame, this is so controllable. -$$$ - you are paying for the venue/view, there is no getting around it. Plus happy hour is only Mon-Thurs, (got caught out once on a Friday!). The menu is not super obvious in terms of what is on the HH menu and what is not, e.g. the tacos above $14 and not a HH item. - Drinks - the problem here is not with the regular drinks which are fine, albeit expensive. The problem is the HH cocktail menu, there are only a few cocktails and not only do they pander to their Beattles heritage with cheesy names, but worst they are all sweet/sweetish. I am not a sweet booze guy so there is nothing of interest. More variety in the drinks and less kitsch would be good. Net Net - Come here for the view and as an occasional treat; it's not a regular place. The service is too frustratingly slow and it's too expensive to be anything else.

Wonderful view from the restaurant! Beautiful mountians and surroundings. I got to enjoy a lovely breakfast here after my nights stay at the Edgewater Hotel. The decor is awesome, and very trendy, gives you the cabin feeling and makes you feel very comfortable. The staff was lovely, and very helpful. Sarah our hostess did a great job to make sure my boyfriend and I were completely satisfied with our meals. They offer a three course for breakfast with a complimentary glass of champagne or a mimosa. The food was great, the ambiance and atmosphere is very relaxing and romantic. If you ever go here for breakfast or a brunch, I highly suggest the Lobster Hash, and a bloody mary to get the day going!

Six Seven is one of my all time favorite restaurants. The views alone would give anyone something to swoon over but the food is also fabulous. The decor is really daring and modern and is a fabulous antidote to Seattle's usually sparse and drab restaurant interiors culture. You can clearly tell that they hired an exceptionally talented designer to make sure every single nook and cranny was perfect. One of the best things to do if you're on a budget is to head to the lounge for Happy Hour...get there early so you can nab a sofa by the window. In the summer, there's nothing better than sipping a cocktail with the window open and watching sail boat races, birds flying by, etc. Truly an exceptional experience that everyone should have local and tourist alike!

Apparently, the reviewer from Vancouver BC doesn't know great seafood like WA state does...any case this is my review from NYE 2 yrs ago and it was fabulous. We had an Amuse Bouche which is a hors d'oeuvre and served with complimentary Moet Chandon. A faberge egg ensemble with lobster, leek, caviar, truffle, and champagne. A great selection from the chef, the caviar blended well with the truffle and lobster - light and creamy Carmelized Foie Gras infused with toasted cardamom, fleur de sel, white balsamic, and vanilla poached quince. It was served warm which I love as opposed to some restaurants that serve it cold pate-style. Typically, foie gras is paired with fruit and the Poached Quince was a perfect match. Very delicious and not too sweet. Next was the Gouda XO which is a cheese from Holland and aged a minimum of 26 months. Loved this - Semi hard texture, very creamy and blended perfectly with the pecans dipped in whiskey. Riesling Sorbet with ingredients of chili, pineapple, and mint. Very lightly tart and refreshing. The duck was complimented with apricot, foie gras, pistachio, brioche, and grand marnier The duck was very tender and blended well with the light sweetness and great textures of pistachio. I highly recommend NYE dinner and also their normal entrees.. Be sure to try the vodka tonic if you are into it. They make terrific vodka tonics and their tonic is homemade.

The waterside view and 60s style interior decor of this place are worth the visit alone, and the food was great. People who negatively write about the period style don't get it. If you want to eat at a place that has the same style as every other urban chic restaurant you can find plenty in any city in the world. But if you want to try a place that has quirky charm and the spirit of its period of origins, this is a rare example. Our service was also very attentive. In addition to our waitress, there was a manager or host who milled around and checked in on everyone to make sure all was well. I would definitely go again and would recommend it for either the bar and appetizers or for dinner.

The lounge at Six Seven has long been one of my favorite bars in the city. The bartenders are great and always make you feel welcome, the food is good, and there is always a comfy chair to be had. How's the view, you ask? Perched over Elliott Bay, this view is unrivaled on Seattle's downtown waterfront. Time your cocktail with the sunset - it's amazing. And the decor! Don't even get me started!! I've always loved the design - a playful and chic take on a cozy lodge, complete with a forested lounge area (sounds weird but it's so cool), antlers and always a roaring fire. Awesome bartender Mark kindly informed me during my last visit that they are now hosting Ladies' Night every Saturday with HOSTED (read: free) champagne from 9-11pm!

From the moment we walked into the restaurant and a child running around screaming "Nemo" with one of the waiters to the salted blood pressure inflating Black Cod that was inedible. This meal started bad and continued down. The food that was edible was mediocre at best. The asparagus soup was about the only dish that was prepared correctly. The tenderloin would be better suited as beef jerky it was so over cooked. The desert was interesting the Rhubarb tart was flat and lacked any real taste and the praline on top of the Creme brulée was almost as hard to crack as it was to get waiter to attend the table. Overall one of the worst dining experiences in Seattle, I have had.

So I realized yesterday I have a serious romanticism with this restaurant when in actuality, they're certainly not perfect. Granted we all have our bad days but I felt that the circumstance yesterday were handled in seriously poor form so I as much as I love you 67, I have to knock you down a few stars. I figure with my original 5 star and now 2 star, you average out at a 3 overall. Another beautiful sunny day brought us here for lunch because it's hard to beat their outdoor seating where you are literally suspended above the water and the entire sound encompasses you. Plus I had been craving their delicacies for over a month now! We started with our favorite Asparagus Fries and although, as usual they were perfectly tender crisp in the center, the tempura on the outside had doubled since we were last there. This made them much more filling than we were used to, in addition to taking away from the Asparagus. When I mentioned this to our server, he admitted they weren't their usual perfect light coating of goodness. So this was our first disappointment. I ordered my usual favorite, Salmon Burger. Feeling a bit full from all the tempura on the Asparagus, I immediately cut it in half of which revealed a completely raw inside. We waited a few minutes for a server to come by to no avail so I had to flag someone down in the bar area. I showed her the bright pink rawness inside my lunch and she quickly shuffled it away. I could overhear her conversation with the other server confirming my squeemishness towards this lack of done ness in that, "This burger is completely raw in the middle, we need to fix this." After a fairly long wait, placed before me was my original sliced in half burger that had simply been recooked. My first thought was if reheating it was all they did, why did it take so darn long? My second thought was that the lovely sauce and crab topping were now cooked and tainted from the reheat which essentially ruined most of what is great about this $13 burger. Lastly, as I was in the midst of trying to eat the reheated mess, our server comes out bringing a "fresh" bowl of fries. Further instituting the non-freshness of the reheated burger I was trying to eat. Why couldn't they have fried up some new ones in the time it took to reheat I wonder? I understand that we may have arrived a bit late for their lunch timing, at 1:40 when they end at 2:30 but really? Would it have taken that much more time to just make me a fresh, cooked through one? I must mention that the kitchen did buy me a glass of wine in an attempt to make up for their mistake however I had thought an establishment of this caliber would have handled things much better. All in all you failed me 67 and as much history as I have had with you, I can't let this situation go unnoticed. I will certainly be less apt to refer you to others not to mention, I'm not sure how long it will take to get this bad Salmon taste out of my mouth to enable my return! I'm sincerely sad about this though because you have been one of my favorites for a very long time. I guess break ups are never easy though.

Happy Hour was ok. The cocktail list for happy hour was short (four choices). The yellow sub-martini was good but would be better without the sugared rim. The pomegranate martini wasn't very good; the lime flavor was too strong and jolting. The mussels were subpar but came with awesome sourdough bread. Excellent view of Elliot Bay.

Oooooo...I like! Beautiful location, on the waterfront, in the Edgewater hotel. Doesn't have that hotel restaurant feel...instead, it is a classy, cozy, and sexy lounge with dinning area. Had the clam chowder and almost died. Lobster mac n' cheese is TO DIE FOR (singing this in a falsetto high pitch). Love the way the Asian pear salad with blue cheese and champagne dressing is plated with the cheese on the side. Also had the pomegranate cosmopolitan, which was perfect. Not too fruity or sugary...just perfect. Atmosphere is fantastic! Nifty light fixtures, candles everywhere, fireplace, comfy couches in large lounge area, and trees as pillars with metal art fixtures. Service was attentive and oh so nice. I can't wait to go back for more!

"...and that sweet hunk of man to your left!" I surprised the new boyfriend with a dinner here for his birthday on a Monday evening. I wanted the option to take advantage of the Urban Eats prix fixe menu. It was a beautiful day...for November. Mind you, it is May. Ever the optimist, I had requested a table by the window so that we might take in the view. But in that cold November rain, the hostess wisely offered our choice of cozy booths. These were not the typical family-style corner booths I've awkwardly slid into before, these were about 200 degree semi-circles so cozy that only two pairs of Asian American knees could fit into anyways. It was perfect. AMBIANCE: romance-full...lights so low the other diners were mere silhouettes in our backdrop...dark, mysterious Twin-Peaksy log paneling in our booth, and I didn't notice much more once we sidled into our cozy little booth. SERVICE: Laura was almost uncharacteristically sassy for the atmosphere, but completely enjoyable nevertheless. She was prompt, well-informed, and wisely urged him to order the chocolate volcano cake instead of the rhubarb tart (though I think it was more to make the eventual birthday candle presentation work). Thanks to the attentive waitstaff, my water glass never hit half-empty, and our tiny little table was regularly cleared of used up items and rearranged not just for food placement, but for our comfort. Loved it. Oh yeah, that's her quote up there at the top, in swift response to my remark: "I'll have some more coffee please, I need it to cut the sweetness of this fabulous dessert." FOOD: My cold pea soup with dungeness crab had a far sexier name than this, and was surprisingly sweet, balanced, and refreshing. As a risotto lover, his mushroom risotto starter was the best he had ever had. My glazed scallop entree was among the best scallop dishes I had ever had. His pork loin, though overdone, incorporated yummy flavor elements. And dessert. OH dessert. Have the hazelnut espresso creme brulee, if only for the wonderful hazelnut brittle candy they top it with. I will be back for special occasions, and maybe when I am in a higher tax bracket, more mundane occasions as well.

I went to Six Seven for a 4th of July dinner with my husband and we had a good time. The view is really great and our waitress was very nice. We started with cocktails. I had the mango margarita which was great. My husband loved the crab and fish cake. I started with the BLT salad. Both were yummy. For entrees, he had the filet mignon and I had the swordfish. Both tasted really great and were prepared well. We ended our night with the chocolate torte which was good.

This is my favorite restaurant in Seattle so far. Just moved here. The food is amazing and good. The atmosphere is romantic, rustic, and warm and I love the entire experience. Service is pretty good, but could be better, but all 3 times I've been here, it was overall great.

Six Seven has pretty interesting and inventive decor with a stunning water view. Although, if you are going to sit at an outside table, you might want to wipe it down yourself before hand -- while we were eating inside on a rainy night, a seagull that we could see through the glass window near our table kept returning and walking all over the outside tables, cleaning itself and staring at us as we ate. I can't say that I've ever seen a seagull that up close and personal before (less than 2 feet away with the glass window wall separating us). I never knew they had such refined grooming standards! High grade for ambiance, though fairly loud dining environment. Although we didn't hang out in the bar area, looks like a great place to do so with friends. Thumbs up for the organic and local leanings on the menu, however every dish was over-salted except our halibut. The mushroom (side) dish was divine and nearly perfect were it not for the explosion of salt factor. Service is very professional - in general seems to be a group of kind and competent wait staff; although not quite perfection (sorry if that sounds bad, but I am a foodie with rather high standards). Easier to valet your car for $5 than to search for a parking space nearby, plus the valet staff were very cool. I really had high expectations for this place given the reviews, but felt the over-salting on so many dishes was a rookie cooking maneuver, especially given the caliber and price point of this restaurant. Perhaps the chef just had an off night. Willing to give this place another try to see. Added note: I just glanced at some of the other reviews and saw similar comments about over-salting, so it looks like this might be more of a habit than a fluke at this restaurant. Also, another reviewer commented about how you should order an appetizer because your entrees will take a long time. That is certainly what we experienced as well. And when our $29 steak arrived over-cooked and highly over-salted, we ate most of it because we were starving. If we hadn't been famished, we would have sent it back.

Granted I didn't eat here, but sat out on a table with a fantastic view of Elliott Bay. What was really sweet about this place (other than the view) was that despite being quite a nice establishment they were nice enough to just let me come in and read at a table outside. I didn't even have to order or anything. If it's not busy during the day, they're happy to let you come in and enjoy the view. That's exactly what I did. I can't speak to the dinner, but if you're looking for a nice place with a view and perhaps drinks and food, you may want to stop by here.

My wife and I went to the Six Seven Restaurant for our 48th marriage anniversary dinner. My brother and his wife accompanied us. We experienced a GREAT evening, made even more rewarding by the excellent food and service. The cuisine deserves special mention as we had never had restaurant cuisine prepared and served any better than this. We all ordered different menu items, and each of us tasted every one of them. We all agreed that we would have ordered any of those items and we would have been well satisfied. The entire dining experience was wonderful. We shall be back soon.

I went to Six Seven last week with my friends for my birthday. We were pretty excited about the Urban Eats menu (3 courses for $30), especially since we could all order different plates and try them all. We all had amazing dinners, but I had to subtract 1 star from my review for 2 reasons: 1. The service was pretty slow for a Wednesday night. 2. The wine pairings that came with the Urban Eats menu where nothing to write home about. I wish they had taken more consideration into which wines they picked for the pairings. Otherwise, we had an amazing table right by the window overlooking Elliott Bay and Alki. The setting was perfect for a dinner with the girls. I highly recommend ordering the Spiced Gnocchi Gratinee (with sous vide of pumpkin) for your main course if you like pumpkin. I wouldn't necessarily come back here for dinner (as it look very much overpriced), but would definitely come back to try out the happy hour deals in the bar area.

We went here with friends and a very good time was had by all. The menu is sadly lacking any vegetarian options, but the chef whipped me up a wonderful veggie risotto on request and I was totally mollified. The drinks and wine were great, and after dinner, we moved out to the bar/lounge area and snuggled on the sofas with a beautiful view of the water. The servers were friendly and helpful and the ambience was sexy and romantic. Can't wait to return!

Odd name aside (it refers to Pier 67, where the Edgewater Hotel stands), Six Seven is a lovely place for special dinners. We dined there for our anniversary, and went early to get the most benefit of the twilight hours. We had cocktails and hor d'oeuvres in the lounge, watching the last of the sunset over the Puget Sound, while we waited for the dining room to open. The server was knowledgeable about the menu, successfully urged us to try something new, and also recommended the weekday happy hours. The asparagus fries, coated in a light tempura batter, and the prawn corn dogs, were clever and delicious twists on old bar food standards. We were transferred to the dining room, which was sleek and stylishly appointed. The only drawback was that the open plan of the space ensured the noise of the football game playing on the TV in the lounge bled over into the hushed environment. As soon as the lounge population began winding down their evening, the quiet returned to the space. The food was pleasant and well presented, even if the menu was somewhat formulaic. The both the swordfish and the pork shoulder were well prepared and elegantly presented, the latter in a shining Cuisinart chef's pan. The desserts were the perfect summation of a solid meal. The valrohna chocolate molten cake was the perfect combination of crisp and sensuous, though the creme fraiche did little to cut the sweetness, and a sweet milk ice cream would have been a better complement. The espresso praline cream brulee was texturally much lighter than the normally rich custard. The upshot: this is a great restaurant for a special occasion or business dinner, where elegant surroundings and predictable quality matter.

Sometimes I just get lazy. When there's an apparently happening lounge and restaurant right downstairs from my priceline find-of-the-week room, maybe the elevator is all the transportation I need. Besides which, once you are transfixed by the view from this place the urge to seek satisfaction elsewhere is diminished quite a lot. So, I attempted to hit happy hour before it ended and missed that by about 57 minutes. Oh, SIX o'clock. Coulda sworn it was 7. Oh well, now I'm starving and that deck is looking pretty sweet. Within moments I am seated in the dining section at the corner of the deck affording a view from Mt. Rainier to the Olympics, right at sunset. The question is, can anything taste bad when served with such beauty? It's like getting your latte from a really hot barista - it's just got to screw with your judgment. So can you trust me when I say the incredible spinach salad with walnut dressing and all would still have been worth savoring if served on the bank of the Los Angeles River? Possibly: my main course was scallops and unfortunately these didn't fare quite as well. The presentation was excellent and the flavor was very good but the consistency was a little chewier than the best I've had. Dessert, on the other hand, was fantastic. The first item on the list was molten chocolate torte with cherries and yeah, it was as good as that sounds. I went back for breakfast and had a perfectly prepared short-stack and egg. Another morning some fine eggs with sausage and potatoes, of which only the spuds were a weak link (not the sausage, which was a fairly strong link). The service all around was solid if not breathtaking. But this I have to ask - is a wall of abstract video and ambient lounge soundtrack really necessary at breakfast? Even with the Borg trees and the fancy lighting, I could have dealt, but enough with the martini electronica noise already. That's SO last night.

Made a last-minute reservation Six Seven to celebrate our anniversary and requested a table outside, overlooking the water, knowing that I was pushing my luck. Well, they delightedly honored my request when we arrived--and the service was amazing. The food was okay, but the breathtaking view is worth the cost of the evening--we watched sail boats and the Victoria Clipper come in and out of the dock--and got some gorgeous sunset photos with the Olympic mountains in the background. They're really wonderful here.

Gorgeous bay views. If you are looking for a waterfront alternative to Ray's or Chinook's on those days when you can't stay away from the bay - this is a contender. Cuisine was excellent too.

One of the BEST chicken cobb salads I have EVER had anywhere anytime. Beautiful. Amazingly intense blue cheese crumbles, dressing with just a touch of horseradish, very fresh ingredients all around. Your taste buds will wake right up! Best view in Seattle, for sure. Fabulously interesting decor. Service in the restaurant can be slow (but friendly) during weekend afternoons. Otherwise, excellent. Anyone notice that I wrote the review for Six Seven on 6/7? I freak myself out sometimes.

Another winner for 'drinks by the water and by the fire!!' Six Seven is really a unique Pacific Northwest themed bar in the famous Edgewater Hotel. I feel like this lounge should be in a Twin Peaks episode. It would almost be 'hokey' with all the wood and tree bark.. if it wasn't so dang fancy! Great view of the sound and ferries passing by. I do adore the metal columns 'transformed' to trees with branches! Pros: Happy Hour rocks, you really get a great value for the setting and view. Cool trip hop music, dim lighting and several 'neat-o' gas fire places to chill out by. I liked the options of seating, especially the comfy couches. Tip: Be sure to have the bartender validate you for discount valet, even if your here only for drinks. I can't review the food as we ate elsewhere.

On our second trip to 67 I was a bit disappointed. Don't get me wrong, having a cocktail while sitting right on Puget Sound is awesome, watching the sun go down over the water was stunning, and spending a romantic evening with my guy in a gorgeous dining room was magical but the cocktail waitress was consistently rude and acted like we were bothering her and my steak was cold. For $200 I shouldn't walk away with complaints.

This is a great place to spend a sunny summer afternoon, the patio is beautiful and you can sit in the sun and watch boats go by in the seattle harbor. Unfortunately though there are not a lot of outdoor tables and they are usually taken. Its a great place for photos. The inside is nice too, but the outside is definetly choice. Barstaff are friendly and make good drinks. This is also a good bathroom to use if you are in the downtown area and need somewhere to stop off, its pretty classy. Another great place to take out of town guests if you are blessed with a sunny day and want to show them the beauty of Seattle.

I was at the Edgewater on this sunny day to tour potential sites for our holiday party and was invited to lunch beforehand by our sales rep. Our attempt at taking the Metro streetcar from the financial district was aborted when we saw the 99 go by as we ran down the hill. Got a cab in front of the Four Seasons and $8.00 later were delivered to Six Seven. I had never been into the restaurant, despite staying there a couple years ago. Pleasantly surprised at the size of the bar and the light filled dining room. Their outdoor deck is heated and open year round. To the food: our hostess suggested the Bento Box so that we could sample several items from the menu - a soup, a salad, a sandwich and a handful of housemade potato chips. OMG - this was heaven for someone who needs more than one "taste" at her meals. Not a steamed nor fried clam eater, I still ordered the award winning clam chowder as recommended, and it was excellent. The grilled turkey, chevre, bacon, cranberry chutney sandwich was really good - cmon, cheese and bacon on grilled, buttered, bread - how can you go wrong? Salad choice was a Caesar salad with a generous handful of Dungeness crab. Chips dusted in parmesan. Deelish. Once we were done with lunch and our tour, we walked out the driveway and caught the 99 back to the office. Will definitely be back for another run at the Bento.

Ate lunch here while killing time before heading to the airport for a flight (am actually sitting in the lounge area as I type this...). Ordered the Russek Syrah and lamb burger. Great by-the-glass wine list, and the burger was pretty tasty as well. What really kicks my review from a 4 to 5-star, however, is the cool atmosphere and vibe of the place. Situated directly over the water with a decor best described as the bastard child of a hunting lodge and sleek urban lounge, Six Seven is a great place to kill a few hours and a few drinks in a laid-back setting. Hotel restaurants/bars like this are my favorite... you actually feel like you're in the city you've traveled to (as opposed to some lame corporate marketer's version of a "lounge").

went there for drinks in the evening in the bar area only. i used to there more often many years ago. the place is great to watch summer sunsets. i had a couple of stella's. it's a cozy bar, but there are a few seating areas and it can be comfortable.

Wow. Just wow. Having followed Bruce Springsteen up from his Portland show for night 2 in Seattle, we did a bit of sightseeing and ended up for an early dinner at The Edgewater. Drinks in the lounge, lovely, then dinner in the dining room looking over the water. Our server, Deborah, loved her! So funny, helpful, well spoken and cool. The scallops - half dollar sized fatties served with artichoke hearts and asparagus in a light sauce. The sweetness of the scallops was tempered by the asparagus, and I could have eaten those all night. I tasted a bit of the halibut with sundried tomatoes and onions, also quite delicious. Two of their menu items were not available from selling out the night prior, but the other options were beautiful sounding, chilean sea bass (and the halibut). Deborah supplied copious knowledge of the wine list and recommended a white to match up with my scallops. What a fabulous dinner in our one night only Seattle stay. And of course the Boss show was amazing. Oh, and, don't tell, but Philip Seymour Hoffman's doppleganger is the host here. Uncanny.

This is a review for HH only: - view was beautiful! - our server was absolutely HORRIBLE: slow, forgetful, etc - valet parking was easy - HH food options were super limited. I wouldn't go there again if I were hungry. Only go for HH drinks and a view - good looking business travelers filled the tables - if it weren't for the amazing view, it would only get 1-2 stars because there would be no other reason to go there. There are better HH places around.

Six Seven is amazing and their Pineapple Martini's are to die for! The food is fabulous and the staff is so wonderful... Now I will tell you that dining inside is great but if you really want to experience the best dining dine outside it is wonderful, relaxing and peaceful, great ambiance. Everyone makes you feel special and they pamper you it is wonderful. The food portions are perfect and cooked to perfection...The decor is fabulous and elegant and very spacious so you don't feel like you are sitting on top of eachother and you can still have good conversation!

I went here for brunch on a Saturday. Despite their website stating "Brunch served between 11:00am - 2:30pm", brunch is actually only served on Sundays. It wasn't the end of the world but it was disappointing. Service is very slow. Not "regular food, not fast food" slow, but the kind of slow where you feel like asking to order is bothering the waitress. While reading other reviews it seems this is common. Of three drink orders, two were incorrect and the waitress either did not place one person's order or the kitchen missed it, leaving her without food while the rest of us had ours. My meal was good, but not of a quality that left me wanting to come back for another visit, especially given the poor service.

Wow, what an incredible place. I've been there before with my SO who used to work at Anthony's and would go there all the time for drinks but we had never eaten there before. It was a spur of the moment decision to have a date night and go for Industrial Night on Wednesday (now Sun-Wed) but we were also starving so we got 3 light dish appetizers- lobster brioche rolls, cheese platter, and salumi bruschetta- Oh my goodness, it's all to die for. Especially the lobster brioche, so flavourful and juicy. We also took my folks there one night and they thoroughly enjoyed it as well. It was nice to sit out on the deck, too. Yes, the meals themselves are quite spendy but I bet you anything they are worth it- someday we'll have a nice full meal there when we can splurge. The atmosphere is breathtaking- no matter where you sit- even at the bar- you have a gorgeous view of the water. We have yet to sit at the cozy seats by the windows- those tend to be very popular. They also have an outdoor deck which has glass-like walls going all around so it gives you the feeling of sitting on "water's edge"- hence their name. The gnarly, rustic cabin feeling inside is comforting.

This is an amazing place to go with great views and the hotel is really swanky too. The food was okay. The bread not impressive but the seafood was amazing although they were VERY small portions for such a high price tag. I was still hungry thank goodness they made my drinks strong so I wouldn't be too concerned. But overall the staff was nice and the views were the best part and the place itself provides such an inviting atmosphere. Would do appetizers and drinks there.

Still pretty good, although our waitress (a) offended my friend, implying we may have been 12-year-olds ordering drinks and (b)disappeared for somewhat longer than you'd expect. Good was good, drinks were decent, cost was not accounted for, all in all a good night on the waterfront. If you are dreaming of sitting out on their deck, you should know they actually only get to fill about half the space visible from inside --I think the smaller tables on the right side are reserved for hotel use).

I actually called to make sure this place was child-friendly. It definitely is NOTE. Perhaps if you have a VERY quiet child..... We came here for Father's Day after seeing all the kid friendly votes. We were met by a whisper quiet room of diners and a hostess that was 'surprised' that we would need a highchair for our 20 month old. They sat numerous hotel guests that came in after us and didn't have a reservation. That being said, I can't imagine why anyone gave this place a kid-friendly rating.

Thanks to the giant viaduct and the under appreciation of our waterfront, Seattle has precious few places of quality to spend time and watch the sound. Six Seven in the Edgewater Hotel is a one of these precious few places. Sitting right on the water, you can enjoy a few drinks and some delicious appetizers while watching the sun slowly set. Six Seven is romantic and business like. You can further your love affair or your new business deal with a well made drink and some comfortable couches. Seattle needs more places that allow enjoyment of the powerful beauty that Seattle is lucky to have. We only get so many days, why spend them anywhere but immersed in beauty and splendor?

Great views of the sound. I just had a Rueben at 360 the day before so was looking for something just as good. 360 whooped Six Seven's butt. The service was nice. I was able to get free wi-fi for the hour I had lunch before jetting to a meeting.

I have been to 67 many many times. I absolutely love the place for Happy Hour, Service Industry Night, or just a nice place to sit on the deck(weather permitting of course) and catch one of the BEST susnset views in the city. The ONLY reason I didnt give it a 5 star is because I have not enjoyed dinner in the main restaurant yet. Service is always attentive and smiling, they actually make you feel welcome. The live DJ almost every night playing some nice downtempo beats is perfect. It definitely has a nice eclectic mix of people from older business, to young professionals to all of the restaurant employees coming in after work to unwind. The bar menu changes to the season, I miss the Maine Lobster Corn Fritters....those were the JAM. But if you want GREAT food in LARGE portions, this is the place. If I recall Happy Hour is Monday through Thursday from 3-5. A little early but if you have the time off and can make it, it is well worth the trip.

Perhaps one of the most beautiful views in any restaurant I've visited. This place sits right on the waterfront of Seattle. I usually think the quality of food and service is inversely proportional to the view, but that's not the case at Six Seven. Plan to get there early and have a drink and appetizer at the bar. Also, on a clear day, it's worthwhile to book your meal just before sunset, as the dining room lights up with reflections off the water as the sun goes down. Great menu and fantastic service. This place is worth a visit.

Despite the hefty price tag, this is cuisine on stilts without the snobbery. The three of us arrived off the street in jeans and backpacks. They barely batted an eye and greeted us warmly. Even though it was an overcast, chilly autumn day, they happily complied with our request to be seated outside. The view was amazing. We watched the rolling storm clouds rush overhead and the waves forming on the dark water. Their bread and butter were fantastic. A true mark of quality and simplicity. We couldn't get enough of the flavorful bread and the fresh, high-quality European(?) butter. I don't scoff at $5 sticks of Plugra or Kerrygold anymore. The appetizer had king crab meat served on pineapple "sashimi" with hearts of palm. The portion was tiny, but the flavors were amazing. The thinly sliced pineapple was marinated in a well-balance sauce that complemented the whole crab leg meat. My first foray into haute cuisine started out magnificently. The glass of pinot grigio went well with everything and was flavorful enough to stand up to the tenderloin and last the entire meal. Though I should have gone for seafood, I ordered the tenderloin. It was so tender and well marbled. My dining companions each ordered fish that were cooked perfectly with crispy skins. i don't remember the accompaniments, but they, too were well paired. Though I'm glad I didn't order the fish with the smoky chorizo since that flavor permeated the risotto (?). It was tasty, but I like flavors to be more distinct and provide variety of flavor throughout the dish. It was a luxurious experience at a luxurious price.

Really can't say too many good things about this place. Definitely a must.

The first thing that impresses you is the stunning views. It feels like being on a boat. It is right by the water. The seafood dishes are outstanding. We loved the Lobster Mac & Cheese appetizer($16) and the King Crab Risotto appetizer ($16) was good too, although the portions are small. The Cedar Plank Salmon (local King Salmon) was just perfect. The Braised Short Rib was delicious. My son had the steak, and thought that it was ok but not great. The side dish of potato puree was very tasty. Great ambiance, but a little too loud. Very friendly and effcient service. They are very busy so advanced reservation is needed.

Only good thing about the Edgewater Hotel ... they cooked me the best sirloin ever ... no seriously, I don't eat a lot of meat anymore, so when I do actually eat some - I savor it ... these guys did not let me down. It tasted better than a Filet at places like Ruth Chris (i know its almost wrong to say that) All the food I had from this place was top!

If the food was as good as the service, it would have been a 5 star review, hands down. This isn't to say that the food was bad, it's just that it was good, just not great. I have prevoiusly come here several times for happy hour in the bar since the view is so amazing. However, I"ve never had the opportunity to eat a full meal here until now. I was entertaining 2 guests from our of town and our party was 4 people in total. I made reservations earlier in the day, and specified that I wanted a seat by the window. When we arrived, the host told us that our table would be a few mins late and we could wait in the bar and enjoy a drink or 2. After ten minutes, we were seated at a great table next to the window per my request. The wait statff was amazing, food delicious and prices reasonable for the type of restaurant it is. I think that Six Seven is extremely underrated and one of the best kept secrets in Seattle. I blame this on the fact they are in the Edgewater hotel. Despite being a famous local landmark for hosting the Beatles in '64, the hotel hasn't been updated at all, and from the outside you might think it was a cheap motel. Once you're inside, you'll forget what you saw walking in and enjoy a fantastic evening. The only other criticism I have is about the valet parking. For the price of the meal, they should really be validating your parking. Instead, they cheap out and charge me $5 on top of an already relatively expensive meal. Tacky at best.

The food is perfect! The eggs where done just right and their chicken noddle soup is to die for. The waiters and waitresses are very nice and helpful. I would definitely go back for more.

Review is for the bar area - a romanticized version of the PNW. Columns resembling trees, an amazing view of the water and mountains, seagulls galore. Good wait staff, solid drinks. One helluva an escape from real-world Seattle. I've eaten food in the restaurant section, but not really worth reviewing. I've had much better seafood elsewhere around the city and at better prices too.

Located in the Edgewater hotel, Six Seven offers a nice place to have lunch while enjoying the Seattle waterfront. The restaurant provides an eclectic atmosphere with an interior blending of natural woods and contemporary metal in which to eat, as well as floor to ceiling windows providing breathtaking views of Elliott Bay. During the warm weather months of Summer the patio offers one of the best outdoor dining experiences in the city. The lunch menu includes contemporary American cuisine with a northwestern focus including plenty of fresh surf and delicious turf. I enjoyed a lamb burger with side salad. But there were so many delicious things on the menu it really made it difficult to choose. The Bento Boxes looked very good as well. The wine list highlights a great selection of some of the top artisan wineries of Washington, as well as many other new world and old world selections, that pair great with the food selections.

Wow, I'm floored by the great reviews 6|7 has received. It is, without doubt, a lovely location. But when my wife and I had brunch there last Sunday morning on the advice of the W hotel's concierge, we were really, really disappointed. On the plus side was the service, which was generally good, save for the brunch chefs (more on that in a second). The valet, hostess, and waitress were all pleasant and attentive. That said, I'd have hoped for better plate clearing service at a brunch. You should not return for a second trip to the buffet to find your dirty plates still on the table, particularly as the restaurant was not at all busy. Inside the brunch room we found quite a bit of food. Most was fine. There were all the standard buffet items. There were various salads, cheese and fruits, breakfast items, and roasted chicken, vegetables, and a carving station with pork tenderloin and salmon. We also noticed that a lot of food looked as though it had been sitting out for quite some time. I actually passed on some shellfish when I noticed the plates they were sitting on weren't all that cold. A similar observation for the selection of sushi, which I also skipped. More disturbing, really, was that the two male brunch servers stood in the corner of the room and rather loudly discussed their dissatisfaction with the management -- and in very plainspoken language! Though I was the only one in the room with them, they never acknowledged I was there except when I moved towards the carving serving station. At that point, one of the servers helped me attentively, but then went right back to his intense discussion with the other server. The bill for two brunches and two Bloody Marys was $100 before tip. The valet to park our vehicle was $5. All things told, it was a complete waste and while the food was reasonable, it was far from worth either the money or the experience.

Great location, beautiful interior, amazing crab cakes, and insane prices. They are expensive, but they are worth the price, for the most part. The crab cakes are sinfully delicious. Their BLT salad is tasty. Their kobe beef burgers are just average, The menu is pretty decent, as far as selection. I have only been here for lunch and it's a good place for less than formal, but more than casual, business lunches.

J'adore the fabulousness that is Six Seven. I have been here on several occasions and never tire of the amazing view (literally right on the water). The drinks and appetizers are great and if you go on friday nights, you might just catch Mycle Wastman playing :) Its rustic yet swank interior is perfect for a romantic date or good way to impress your out of town guests. You cannot go wrong with Six Seven! They also have a happy hour which I have yet to check out.

I have been to Six Seven several times. You cannot beat the ambiance and the view. It is a stunning dinning room complete with floor to ceiling widows with sweeping water views. At sunset it breathtaking. That said, the menu has not been updated in the 4 years I have been coming here. I am a business traveler and come here often and would like to see more originality and creativity in the menu. Especially given the fact there is a plethora of locally grown produce and fishery options available in the Pacific Northwest. The food is good and the service is excellent. They have an extensive wine list and and the management is running a solid operation. I would still recommend Six Seven for a romantic or special evening out.

This place is fantastic. Amazing views of the sound from the restaurant and bar. I've been here for dinner and drinks and an event and each was wonderful. It is definitely a little more formal than I usually opt for but it is perfect for out of town guests... like parents, relatives or business associates. The food is delicious, the service fantastic, the ambiance is amazing... ski lodge meets the pacific and the view cannot be beat.

Why this place is exceptional, even for Seattle: 1) Ahi Tuna: it's hard not to get this right in Seattle, but it happens. Six Seven does a fantastic job at a fair price. 2) Clam Chowder: THE BEST IN SEATTLE. Bet me on this and you will lose. It's amazing. 3) Waterfront views & crisp ambiance without the hotel feeling, snotty vibe, or unapologetic price tag. It's easy to like this place.

The restaurant itself is very nice. And they have seating along the water which is great on a nice day. And the bento box lunch special is an awesome deal, $12 for a lot of food. That's what I ordered. The salad (I got the one with goat cheese) was bland and dry, basically just a lot of greens. The butternut squash soup was disappointing, it was too sweet and creamy. And I love butternut squash soup. However, the salmon sandwich was quite good, although the bread is much larger than the piece of salmon you get.

The service is SO slow, it took over 30 minutes to get our drinks over an hour and a half to get water.... They are way short staffed! There are three managers that are doing absolutely nothing! Ridiculous for the price!

I had lunch here with some coworkers today during our break from the SMX Advanced conference. There are only a few veg items, and I did not see anything that looked vegan. Ther service was nice and prompt, our waitress was very kind. The atmosphere is beautiful...looking out to the bay and surrounding islands. I had the portabella grilled cheese- very tasty and I'm sure I'll crave it in the future. For dessert I had the chocolate mouse. I wasn't thrilled at all. It was very rich and the chocolate flavor tasted fake.

One of the best restaurants in Seattle, in my humble opinion. Great view, great atmosphere. I feel rich just being here. Great service, general manager stopped by our table to help us choose the appropriate wine for our entrees. Fantastic scallops. The seabass was incredible, literally fell apart in my mouth. The pinot noir was a nice pairing. At first I was disappointed at the smaller portions, but it allowed us to have an appetizer, finish our entrees completely and enjoy dessert, then leave without feeling like we'd explode. This is the way fine dining should be!

I should have listened to the other reviewer who said avoid this place for brunch! Wow was this bad. The service was incredibly slow. We waited about 45 minutes for our starter plate. After we finished that we had to kill another half hour waiting for our main course. They got our order wrong, The food was obviously sitting for at least 10 minutes waiting to be served. They miscalculated my bill and charged me ala carte for a prix fixe menu. After I begged for my bill, they brought it 15 minutes later. I'm so angry right now that I am having trouble digesting the lousy food. I live in Belltown and will never return to this place. It is true that the views are nice, but it is not worth the aggravation.

Add this one to the list of restaurants I can impress my parents with...and also can't afford to eat at *without* my parents, either. My dad could sit in the bar for hours, staring out at the water towards West Seattle. Yes, he's easy to please, but it is also a knockout view - combine it with comfy seating, a fire and woodsy decor, and you've got a winner. I've had both brunch and lunch here - as mentioned above, my cheap self couldn't hack it here on a regular basis. But the price has always been worth it, with really great meals - crusty bread and butter is a plus as well. The bento boxes are your best bet at lunch - salad, soup, rice and meat - very filling, and full of flavor. I'd love to find an excuse to get a room in the Edgewater. I imagine it would be very swanky.

I spent a couple of nights at the Edgewater earlier this year, killed some time in the lounge at Six Seven, had one dinner, and one breakfast. The Edgewater itself is an interesting place, clearly older but they're making an effort to keep it current. The entire theme of the hotel is a bit beyond my comprehension -- my assessment is "Paul Bunyan goes sailing, meets up with a trendy nightclub owner, and they decide to go into business". Maybe it's a Seattle thing. You see sculptures that look like trees, but the joints of the branches are made of sailboat rigging. The bed in my room was a four-poster made out of logs with a plaid comforter and a teddy bear, but the bathroom had one of those free-standing bowl sinks and a modern design. My room looked out onto an empty boat slip and a view of the Seattle skyline -- I made the mistake of leaving the curtains open when I went to bed, and woke up to find myself staring out at a cruise ship that had come in during the night. Needless to say the tourists on deck were amused. The lounge at Six Seven is trendy and comfortable, and they have an interesting selection of appetizers and specialty martinis. Try the cheese plate. During the summer the sunset lasts until almost 10pm, so we got to spend quite a few hours enjoying the scenery out of the many windows. Our server in the bar was great. Later on in the evening they brought in a club DJ. Dinner and breakfast were nothing special, they were a little overpriced but the quality was decent. Our waiter was a little different. Check out the fish tank hostess stand. The Edgewater and Six Seven were a novel experience, but I'm not sure I'd go back on my next trip to Seattle.

OK, keep in mind that I was a tourist in your beautiful city (seriously - Seattle is just unbelievabley pretty) when reading this review. The views from the restaurant are the number one reason we booked here. We had a large group of eleven people and they had a wonderful table set up for us right in front of the wall of fireplaces. I loved the decor here. The mixture of sixties modern and tree branches and contemporary actually worked. It was liked dining in a late-20th century bachelor pad. The food was really pretty good - we had all kinds of dishes around the table including seafood, pork, and beef and everyone realy liked what they had. The salads were good and the desserts seemed to go over well. The wine selection was also good and the service was above average. I think that the view combined with the decor and service make this a solid choice for out-of-towners.

You Know.. I read all the reviews, checked out the website, looked at the menu and said, "well, it's his birthday and I want something special and this would be special." So I booked. All gussied up headed to the Six/ Seven for what might be a romantic evening??? ...No...Not really. First off, it was prom night. So we waited 30 mins AFTER our reservations, 45 AFTER we actually arrived, to be seated. And this was with having to bother the nice lady twice. No, they didn't come and get us. In fact, I think we were forgotten in the bar/ lounge area where they told us to sit while waiting. Don't do that. Just stare her right in the eyes and say "I want to be seated as soon as possible." While enjoying the beautiful sunset, sipping on our drinks, I watch and 5-6 other groups get seated. What. By the time the sun is down, we are seated, and throughly forgotten once again. Promises of more water, more bread, new silverware (we're clumsy, what can I say!), and a good meal are all shot. Dinner was....blah to say the best. I felt sick after eating my undercooked $40(!!!) meal. Throughly unimpressed and saddened, We ventured to McCormicks, got some dessert and wished we had instead come there for Happy Hour. So Sad. 2 Star meal and service, but I'll throw in another for the FABULOUS view.

I won't lie... I don't recall the food I ate here with great clarity. That being said, I really enjoyed my evening here. I got to dress up & go out for a nice night on the town. Since we arrived for our table quite early, I spent an hour at the bar enjoying cocktails as the sun began to set. When we got our table, it had an amazing sunset view. Their seats were nice with white leather benches that were romantic for our party of two. It was just so lovely and there was a guitar player/singer soloist in the barp playing acoustic music and it was really really lovely. I had a crab or lobster pot pie thing which was interesting... I thought this place was great and just a nice atmosphere on a hot summer evening on a nice date. I'd love to get a room at the Edgewater sometime as well. :)

This was a great recommendation from a friend who used to live in Seattle. We stopped in for a late afternoon drink & snack...just in time for happy hour! The menu was fairly priced anyway, but happy hour was just the icing on the cake. BF & I tried the mussels and the lamb sliders...and then the truffle fries. I would totally come back here on another visit, though hope not to have the same waitress...we weren't impressed or entertained by her attitude. Otherwise, we had a nice time & just loved the view!

Six Seven is my favorite "nice" spot in Seattle. The atmosphere at the Edgewater is second to none-- northwest contemporary with a modern twist. Even the gift shop at the hotel is worth a trip! They have some beautiful jewelery from a local artist. I highly recommend going here for happy hour, as it's a great value for the cost. Most drinks run $6 and the "snacks" are $5, but a "snack" is really the size of a meal. Where else can you get gourmet halibut and chips for five bucks? The environment is perfect, as you could fish out the window while still surrounding yourself with posh furnishings. The restaurant is excellent as well, but be prepared to spend. The food is both innovative and classic, and, like the interior, blends together perfectly. A+!

The meal & view was amazing. Unfortunately, we were not able to sit outside because it was raining earlier. My boyfriend and I ordered the NY strip bento box with a salad, jasmine rice, and soup. It was delicious except the rice, which was harder than expected, but fortunately I don't like eating rice. The portion was adequate for lunch. For dessert we had chocolate mousse, which was pretty tasty.

We had a late lunch here with a friend yesterday and sat in the bar area (I'm not sure why; we were looking for something light to eat, I suppose). Our friend had the shrimp caesar and we both had the cheeseburger (on the menu as a hamburger, but we're never afraid to ask for what we REALLY want). :-) The food was excellent. The burger was perfectly cooked, and although they almost fell into trouble with me (I asked for plain, but it came with lettuce, tomato and red onion; if it had come with juicy pickles too, it would have gone back), it was rescued by high-quality beef, Tillamook cheddar, and a gorgeous, flavorful roll. The french fries were good, but I wished I'd asked for no slaw.... I don't really like it and it juiced itself all over some of my fries, making them inedible. But John liked it, so check your sauce tolerance and decide accordingly. And the fries that didn't get slaw on them were delicious and crunchy. The salad was a little pale to my eyes, but it had tons of shrimp. The Bloody Mary our friend got was big and she said, strong. I got my standard diet coke with lime and was worried about the cost of a refill and our server made a little flourish out of not charging for a refill. Hmm. Important note for locals: if you buy ANYTHING in the bar or restaurant, you can park at the hotel for $5, a bargain for the area and nice and close too. We had a seagull watch us eat our entire meal; it's amazing to be able to look out across the bay at the ferries and all, but that gull was bursting with personality, clean and plump, and I really felt sorry that I couldn't feed it the be-slawed french fries that I rejected. :-)

Good. Veeerrry good. Me and my other half tried this place during the dine around Seattle promo and thought the 3 course meal that we had was great and filling enough too. The food was served not too quickly, not too late and taste was above average. Service was also very good - prompt and courteous. The only odd part which is more a matter of taste was that we thought it was oddly decorated in a very "groovy" sort of way. Still, given a whimsical occasion, I'd go there again.

The first thing I notice about Six Seven is the unusual decor and extremely low lighting. If a Ski Chalet and an Ultra Cool Retro Lounge had babies, Six Seven would be the love child. I loved the wall of fireplaces. What is that? Why am I drawn to it? I felt like curling up like cat in front of the wall. Anyway, the place has great ambiance, not to mention the breathtaking view of the sound and ferries. The low lighting would make for a great first date place....is he good looking? Is she hot? Oh who cares, the food is delicious. Plus, interesting conversation pieces abound the place, so if your dinner date is less than visually appealing, there are plenty of other things to look at. I was here with a friend for the 25 for 25 menu and we had a great time. All my menu items were fantastic: dungeness crab fritter soup, seared halibut and the lemon cheesecake. He had the veal shank which was also 'falling off the bone' good. I'd like to come back for brunch or lunch to check out the vibe during the day.

I have been here twice in the last 3 months. The first visit was fantastic. Great service, the asparagus fries were excellent and the Salmon burgers were tasty, however our last visit was extremely disappointing. Things started out great but turned sour quickly. We ordered the same asparagus fries and unlike the time before these fries were covered in batter that was about 1 inch thick. Before there was just enough batter to cover the asparagus. We asked the server and he said "yes they do look like they have more batter on them than usual. Then our food arrived. I had the chicken sandwich which was OK and my wife went with the salmon burger again however this time her salmon burger was raw. Barely cooked on the outside and totally raw in the middle. After waiting about 5 minutes for our server to come back and ask if how things were, we eventually got up and waved someone down. They took the plate away and then a server came back and apologized and said that most likely they were in a hurry and wanted to go home and now they have stay longer. What kind of response is that to a customer? My wife's salmon burger came back after I had already eaten my chicken sandwich and when it arrived, it was the same burger she gave them only it had been cooked longer and the same fries were on the plate. The server said the kitchen would buy her a desert and that some fresh fries were on there way. Is this how a 5 start restaurant handles these situations? In my opinion its totally unacceptable. First she has to sit there and drink a glass of wine while I eat, then she gets her same salmon burger back only now the salmon is cook but the crab sauce that goes on top is way over cooked and a plate full of cold fries. 5 minutes later they bring out fresh fries. In my opinion her meal should have been comp-ted but instead they only comp-ted us a glass of wine.

Happy Hour prices are good, but service was horrendous. I've gotten better service at Azteca. Rude waitstaff and DO NOT use the valet service! Service is usually just one part of the mix for me, but in this case I won't go back to "The Mudshark Hotel" due to rude and slow service.

I just dropped a good amount of money for a very mediocre dinner. This place has really gone down hill which really saddens me. This place used to be a favorite spot of mine because I love the fact that its right on the water and the place is chic. I also went on my first date with my boyfriend here many years ago! They used to also have really great food and a better wine selection. Today, my dinner was meh to say the least. The place was pretty busy given its that $28 for a 3 course meal deal going on around Seattle. I think it's funny though that I received worse service and attention compared to others who were clearly ordering in my opinion, off the cheap menu. I spent 3 times as much, and not once did the lady waiting on us ask how our meal was nor did she check-in after the main course was served. She also forgot to give me a steak knife and I patiently waited for her to stop by so that I could ask her. I of course asked someone else for a knife and he said he would grab my server. I finally gave up and just used my butter knife to eat my very salty, dry and overcooked Jidori chicken. The funny thing is she stopped by all the other tables other that mine! What the hell? The arugula salad with pears was okay, but very poor presentation with all the pears on the bottom. I was not interested in dessert since everything was already rather disappointing. I cant believe I spent $80 per person for a mediocre dinner and poor service. And on top of that, I still gave her a 15% tip which she clearly did not deserve and which I later regretted. For this, we will NEVER, I repeat NEVER go back again. I'm so disappointed! I used to love this place!

This is one of my favorite special occasion restaurants in Seattle. The view is gorgeous and the decor is really cool. It's fun to go there for either drinks or a full dinner. When I first went there, I had this really delicious honey-wasabi ahi. I don't think they have that dish anymore but the ahi I had last time was delicious too. FYI - this place is usually included in the 25 for $25 which I think is in March and November.

This is a great place for a nightcap, a glass of wine, a pre-dinner cocktail, um ok...I've only been here for drinks. I can't rate the food. That said, the views make up for any shortcomings. I agree its romantic. There are huge picture windows all around, and you are literally a foot from the water. You can't really beat that unless of course you are in La Jolla, CA. There are sofas and chairs, so you can choose exactly how close you decide to get to your date, or coworkers, or whoever you happen to be there with. Point is, there are options. Its a good place to check out. I'd go back.

Delicious filling meal in an upscale comfortable atmosphere at reasonable prices. I've been to Six Seven many times for lunch with coworkers and each time we left thoroughly satisfied. Six Seven is located inside the Edgewater hotel across from work so it is an easy walk for lunch. The decor is a 'fall forest technopunk' theme; there's leafless branches with exposed metal joints and fake tree trunk cladding on the walls. A large fireplace in the middle seems to partially separate the dining area from the bar area. The whole restaurant provides views of Elliott Bay and the distant mountains. The greeter at the front is always friendly and seats us promptly each time. We have never had to wait to be seated, except for when they need to get the large table ready. They provide flat bread with soft flavored butter, a good snack to nibble on while you look over the menu. The menu has depth; the typical soup and salad, but also bento box lunch specials and entrees. I've had these entrees: the mac n' cheese- rich and delicious; total carb bomb the crab cakes - average, a bit on the small side, the 'avocado salad" is nothing more than a small scoop of chunky guacomole the fish n chips bento box - very delicious and filling because it comes with a chowder the salmon bento box - another great meal but I did not drink the carrot soup it came with. The soup was more like a carrot puree. The service is very polite and prompt. They offered many refills on water, soda and ice tea throughout the meal. I've been here once for happy hour and was again very pleased with the service and quality of the food. There were quite a bit more people who come for happy hour rather than lunch, so be prepared to wait. I believe the happy hour times are a bit short, but double check before you go. My friends and I shared an appetizer of calamari which was surprisingly decent sized, considering it was happy hour. I would recommend Six Seven for anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable lunch or a best-bang for your buck happy hour.

Hands down the best dinner experience Ive had in my life. All the food was cooked to perfection and the staff was proffessional and generous. We arrived around 8 oclock for dinner and didnt leave til almost 130 am after appetizers coffee, drinks dinner and desert. We were accompanied by a vip guest and the staff kept the resturant open til we were all done with every course. If you are looking for a great resturant with a great view for a anniversary or nice dinner I give this place 5 stars.

I booked a large reservation here for a friend's birthday, and was let down in a big way. Prior to making my reservation, the restaurant had been recommended by a friend due to the fabulous view of the Puget Sound. I took some time to read a few reviews, and found quite a few that commented on the poor service. I disregarded what I had read, hoping that I could give the place a chance and find a new favorite with a great view. Unfortunately, my experience was much the same, and without going into explicit detail, it was so horrid that I will never dine here again. Not only did my server chase me into the parking lot after standing against the wall and watching our party leave, but when I contacted the hotel AND restaurant management in regards to our lack of service that night, neither contacted me back nor responded to my emails. It shocks me that such places can continue to operate in good conscience, knowing that they are doing little to nothing to service the customer. In terms of food, the crab cakes were great--and I only wish that our gratuity could have gone directly to the chef that had made them. If you're looking for an experience that will make you feel comfortable, and as though you want to return, then this is not the place to go.

I'd give less than 1 star if I could! After a great day of celebrating a friend's birthday -- enjoying the sunshine in Myrtle Edwards Park -- we went to Six Seven at the Edgewater. They have an advertised happy hour, even on Sundays, so we popped-in for drinks & apps. Based on the host's instructions, we sat ourselves at an outside table. The next 20 minutes went like this: - waitress stopped by to clear table and made a point that happy hour didn't start until 3pm (we were 5 minutes early). We asked if there was a happy hour menu. She seemed confused and said she'd ask. Never saw her again. - Host stopped by and explained which part of the menu was for happy hour. Left the 4 of us with the one copy of the menu. - We waited 10 minutes and then went inside to ask if someone could wipe the table (not clean) and bring us water (sitting in hot sun!) - 5 minutes later, the host came by and wiped the table. We asked for water again. We even put b'day cards on the table, to see if we could get better service if we pushed the celebration angle. Didn't work... - After 20 minutes from when we sat down, we decided to leave. If we couldn't get their attention so far, when would we get to place an order? When would the food arrive? As we left, the host saw and couldn't have cared less. If you're wondering, no -- the restaurant was not packed. If it were wall-to-wall people, we would have understood slower service. But 20 minutes in an almost empty restaurant - and we couldn't get water or place an order? Not good... This could have ruined what started out as a fun birthday outing. Luckily, we headed to Anthony's. Big thumbs down for vegetarians, but the service and non-veg food got rave reviews. And at that point, I just wanted the b'day girl to end the day on a high note (she's not veg).

Loved it. A friend and I hung out here for a few hours, watching the sun set over the bay, waving to dorky tourists on the ferries and yachts passing by, drinking our respective favorite beers (any place that carries Fin du Monde gets a default starting point of 5 stars), and finishing the night off with some sliders and other appetizers that served as dinner. Our server was very friendly and took care us from start to finish, even secretly giving us a heads up on a table about to open up outside when we wanted to switch from inside to outside.

I ate here a few times last summer when my dad came up for the 4th of July, and he stayed at The Edgewater. He somehow managed to accidentally get the breakfast package with his room, and there was an extra meal ticket that he said I could use. The place was pretty packed for breakfast, and the food really wasn't that bad. The menu had a lot of healthier options, seafood, and your regular breakfast fare-pretty much what you'd expect of a hotel restaurant's breakfast. All in all, a pretty good combo of food and view. Now, let me get to dinner. The whole ambiance, menu, and attitude would make you think that you're going to have an amazing culinary experience. Um, no, not really. The menu had high aspirations, and it was even a special menu when I was there (4th of July). I can't say that I remember what I ate, which says something: it wasn't good enough for me to remember. However! If you want a GREAT view of 4th of July fireworks, go here! There was NO ONE here last year, and I mean no one. Other than our table, there were *maybe* 5 other groups in the dining room, and the wait-staff let us all move onto the deck once the fireworks started. They even cranked up the outdoor heaters for us, since it's always windy on the water. Don't bother fighting the crowds on the waterfront and Myrtle Edwards park, just make a reservation (just in case) at Six Seven and grab a dessert and a coffee, and have some fun.

Have had both lunch and dinner here, and I really like the variety on their menu - it's the sort of place where everyone in the group can find something to their liking. The food is well-executed and tasty. On a sunny day the setting is gorgeous. On a recent cold winter day, the room was quite chilly at lunchtime, with aircon blowing? It finally reached a comfortable temperature near the end of the lunch hour. Also, be warned that the acoustics are loud - all hard surfaces.

This is my third time eating at Six Seven. The atmosphere can't be beat and the food quality and flavor is exceptional BUT the portions are way too small for the price. I came hungry and left not quite satisfied.

We had lunch at Six Seven when we were in Seattle and the clam chowder was some of the best we've ever had. The restaurant decor is amazing. The only complaint is that the service was ok but not great and they weren't even busy.

I dined at 6/7 tonight and had an absolutely delightful time. My grandparents were in town visiting and staying at the edgewater hotel so they suggested my sister and I have dinner with them at 6/7. We started out with some delicious cocktails, I had the pineapple infused martini and although it was a little sweeter then I am use to it was still delicious and very strong. My sister and I both have some dietary restrictions, I am a vegetarian and she is a vegan, when we talked with our server she was very helpful and accommodating. The Pear and Arugula salad was wonderful and I highly recommend the gnocchi with pumpkin for a main course. We had a Delicious bottle of Pinot Noir with dinner and all shared a chocolate flour-less torte for dinner. Over all the whole experience was fantastic, the wait staff wonderful and the food delicious. Only thing, my sister and I didn't foot the bill, I don't think I will be going back any time too soon because it is definitely out of my price range.

We stayed at the Edgewater on vacation. We had breakfast in the restaurant it was very tasty, though it did take a while. While I'm not the woodsy type, the decor still had a modern edge. We had drinks there a couple times. Careful, as the drink specials aren't very special. We did have an appetizer the one night and it was tasty (Kobe sliders). It was a good happy hour as they had a sail boat regatta go through.

This place is beautiful. It's mostly the location - right on the waterfront, probably the best view of any restaurant in that area. They have this strange techno decor thing going on which is actually kind of interesting. I would just recommend not sitting anywhere near the giant screen or you might have a guest mesmerized by the screen and missing the sunset... Like the other folks that reviewed this place, I would recommend the happy hour. I got the calamari and it was great!
