Pros: - Situated in a Westin hotel so the atmosphere is nicer - Server was very polite and helpful - Fries were good Cons: - Burger was okay at best. The buns were cold and not toasted. Nothing special but wasn't terrible either. - The burger was too big vertically for you fit into your mouth. I had to end up using a knife and fork to eat this.

Ate here twice while staying at the hotel. The first time, it was just appetizers while working on a presentation, the second time was a full meal. We were accidentally given a dinner menu the first time and saw the Calamari which looked yummy, but that's not normally on the lunch menu. The waitress asked the kitchen if it was possible to still get it, and the kitchen obliged. We also had tots and fries, and I washed it down with a rasberry Mint soda. Second time I had the burger with more tots (also washed down with a rasberry mint soda), which was very yummy. Was with a group of 4, and everyone enjoyed their food. Lots of options for burgers too, and our food was always on our table 5 to 10 minutes after ordering which was appreciated as we were on a tight schedule. Will definitely eat here again next time I'm in the area!

I really like this place. New to the area, I am trying new places to wine and dine. I like that Relish is centrally located downtown. I stumbled across it while riding my bike from work to home. Although you cannot bring your bicycle into the restaurant, The valet will check it for you for free! Of course I tipped them for taking good care of it:) The hostess was super nice. She even asked me if I needed the temperature adjusted in the dining area. Amazing right? Who does that? They make their sparkling water in house, and it's as good as a pelligrino! I had the salmon burger, And yes it really is salmon, And it was ridiculously delicious. The Parmesan tots were ok, but I think I will have to try the sweet potato fries next time. Now for Deseret! I love bread pudding. If its on the menu, I try it. So you have something to compare it to, my favorite that I have found has been from 'The Ram'.....until now. Their bread pudding is absolutely amazing! I cant even describe it, You just have to try it!! Ala mode is the way to go. The staff all helped each other out, which is nice to see. I've come to see that when people are happy at their jobs, the service and food are noticeably better. My waitress Diana was not only very attentive and made no mistakes with my order, she was also an enjoyable person to talk with. Always smiling when she would bring me more napkins or get me more condiments. I didn't have to ask for anything! I recommend this burger bistro highly! It's great ambiance, friendly servers, and yummy food have won me over.

Very cool place. Came for burgers and we were not disappointed, though I also wouldn't make an effort to return for them vs other stellar places we have been. Onion rings were fantastic! Service was good. This is located in the Westin hotel. We got free hotel valet parking for 2 hours by eating here, and were able to walk around town a bit for free! On warm days, avoid the glassed-in seating area.

This place boasts using sustainable authentic naturally raised Niman Ranch chuck and brisket. The also boast that their other ingredients from Bun to Cheese are also local. SWEET! I worked too close by not to try out the Pike Place burger, which boasts Flame Grilled Niman Ranch beef, fried onion rings (soooo good), crisp apple-wood smoked bacon rasher, house made steak sauce (yum) and Beecher's Marco Polo peppercorn cheese. The Pike Place had a price tag of $14 a burger. Keep in mind, these are all A-LA-CARTE was a bit much... but you could tell it was not your run of the mill beef. The chuck/brisket burger was delish and I'd recommend ordering medium-rare. A basic burger was $9, add some cheese $10. The majority of the burgers run $12 and include some nummy fixings. They offer a black bean burger and some pretty good looking salads for any veggie fans. SIDES ($4) Fries ($4 for a small portion) which were pretty classic and could have been more shoestring for my taste... but came with this amazing sauce. It was like katsup but with caramelized onions in it? Very tasty. Parm and herb tots ($4) are DELISH and also come with the nummy katsup dipping sauce. GET THE ONION RINGS. They are FANTABULOUS!!!!!! The Sweet Potato fries were pretty darn tasty, but then again so are Trader Joe's... $4 seems a bit much for the portion of the sides that arrived. but remind yourself this is a WESTIN HOTEL LOBBY restaurant. What do you expect? SUPER AWESOME COOL THING - The bar area has a ton of TVs where you can check out the game!! They also have awesome wooden log style tables and tall bar stools. I love this area's feel. Huge bar. Loves it. Also have capability for large groups and a large long table that seats maybe 15-20 in the dining area? It appears they are still working out some kinks in the service in the dining area... I have now been there on two occasions and while the first went without a hitch... during the last one (3/27/13)... service was pretty darn horrible. We watched our waiter take about 45 minutes to take the custom orders for a large party, then another 20 mins to enter them in the system. One table of two next to us got up and left as they weren't acknowledged. Hopefully, this will improve and I'll have a nice update on the service. I learned they have a HAPPY HOUR that I must check out also! We were informed that HAPPY HOUR IS IN THE WHOLE RESTAURANT, not just the bar! More to come... I am sure...

Good burgers!! and spicy Relish for the topping was something unusual about it.

Yep, expect your order to be a little wrong. Somewhere between the waitress' notepad to delivery my order was changed. But just a little. It was good, tater tots were good. But nothing special. Also, if the waitress takes your diet coke to refill it...it might not come back!

This place is okay if you're in Seattle, looking for a new burger place, and trying to avoid the usual chain restaurants. I thought the prices for the burgers were a bit high priced, but the rest of the menu prices were okay. I received good service, I was seated quickly and thought the decor was comfortable. My only issue was my patty seemed well done (and dry), when I asked for medium. If you're staying in the area and want something safe and convenient, I think you'll be pleased with Relish.

I've been here 3 times. Each time I've experienced cold, unwelcoming service, but a great tasting burger. Every time I've went here I have to walk up to the host and say hello first and ask for a menu rather than being greeted when she clearly sees me approaching and entering the restaurant and looking at her. No greeting or acknowledgment. She just continues chatting with a coworker until I ask for help (all 3 times this happened). The bartender has been rude before too. The staff never smiles, or says hello or bye it's really bizarre, do they not want good tips? I don't get it, especially because they aren't even busy when I go there. The chef is great. The burgers always come out juicy and well put together. The bun is delicious, warm and tastes like it has butter and truffle salt. I think the price is too steep al a carte'. For $15 can't you just throw some fries in with it? $4 more for fries?! Or what about a pickle... Give me something because the burger, while great, is still just a burger and $15 is too steep. I think the owner could make a hit of the place if they drop a dollar off every menu price, include their house relish (since thats their name) on the side of each burger and have serious and ongoing conversations with his/her staff about customer service/experience

My boyfriend and I are staying at the Westin and decided to stay in the hotel for dinner last night. The couple who got to the hostess first (I should note they were older but not dressed as nicely) were greeted really nicely, asked if they wanted a table for two, and escorted to the nice seating area. When we were "greeted" the hostess just looked us up and down and asked how she could help us. We said dinner for two, and she asked if we wanted to sit at the bar. No, thank you, we'd like to sit at a table. So she sighs, looks around and says she'll need to clear off a table and paused. Yes, please, clear us a table. She clears off a really high table next to the bar, but since there were lots of tables open in the nice room I asked if we could sit in there. She looked annoyed again, but sat us. Honestly, the food and drinks were good, but I was so irked by the way she treated us it wasn't worth the $60 we dropped on dinner.

  • Mike N.

Good selection of interesting drinks, I enjoyed the Estrella. Burgers are average size, above average quality. The bartenders were friendly and helpful. Price is slightly cheaper than I expected for a hotel restaurant. Only downside was the "pineapple carrot cake", which does not actually have pineapple in it, just on the side, disappointing.

Great service, delicious burgers, both corn dogs AND deviled eggs on the menu. What more could one ask for?

i was staying at the westin, so chose to grab a quick dinner at relish. can i just tell you how amazing my burger was? i special ordered it, so i added some avocado. it was perfect. honestly, i think it was the best burger i have ever had.

Wow. For three burgers in a nearly empty restaurant, it took nearly an hour to get our food. Puzzling, considering there were 6 cooks in the kitchen. The burgers were good, but it wasn't worth the wait. The waitstaff were kind, but not well trained.

  • Noelle S.

My friend and I decided to stop in after the Sounders game and grab a bite. The place was slammed, but having heard good things, we thought it was worth the wait. Overall:This has to be the most UNORIGINAL restaraunt i've ever seen. They obviously have a brand standard to follow (being part of the Westin Hotel) and I get that, but they stole signature items from places like the Lunchbox Laboratory and Gordon Biersch. The ambiance was terrible, the age of the hotel really shines through, the interior designer shoud have their creative license revoked. The light fixtures look like they came out of the King Cat theatre down the street and nothing matches. You can tell that they were going for a 'moms old kitchen' kind of feel, but FAIL. On to the service: Slow, we were checked on once and were not acknowledged until 20 muinutes after she removed my plate for being the wrong order (i'll get to that). I know that they were busy, but this girl was scatterbrained. Food: TERRIBLE. Being vegetarian, I ordered a black bean burger with blue cheese and a whole wheat bun. The restaraunt is stingy, because if you want fries with that, that will be $4.00. So instead, I decided to go the 'healthy' route and order brussel sprouts. I asked the server how they are prepared, and she said that they were baked. WHAT? They were fried WITH BACON!! Vegetarian's nigthmare. Two bites into my burger, I see that I am eating SOMETHING that is clearly meat, and is on a white bun. Now im nauseated. Thanks Relish. Upon realizing this, I spent TWENTY MINUTES trying to track down our server who clearly went on her break, because we were ignored. I prompted my dining partner to finish her meal while I tried not to barf on the ugly carpet. When she finally returned, I asked her what I what I was eating, she couldn't tell me and quickly rushed the plate back to the kitchen without so much as a sorry. She came back 15 minutes later (Yes, I was watching the clock) to tell me that the kitchen was going to make me a new one. I told her not to bother because I was already sick to my stomach and didn't want to wait another 30 minutes for food as my friend was already done with her food. So nice of her to comp my check. Such a relief. ugh. This place is NOT up to the Westin brand standard, and its a sorry excuse for a burger bar. The Westin is old and deteriorating, so this place is really just another attempt at putting lipstick on a pig. SO DISSAPPOINTING!!! Save yourself a trip, guys, hit up Lunchbox Laboratory, Brave Horse Tavern or Mcdonalds across the street for a more authentic and honest experience!

I stay in Westin every week and was surprised to know that the westin(restaurant inside a hotel) won the best burger competition for this year. Well in the chicken burger category though... And to meet my expectation I did really liked the chicken burger. My 3 star rating is pertaining to the rest of the menu... If you guys are into chicken burger the try is well worth..

Local ingredients and local beers makes for a great experience! My favorite is the bacon and egg burger, side of relish tots (parmesan and herbs), along with the Big E Scotch Ale.

  • Jessica T.

The food here is great! Service may be a little slow. They have a great salad! It's the Washington salad. The veggie burger is DELISH! If your a vegetarian they have some great choices. Their breakfast is also good. The orange blueberry pancakes was the best I've had. Over all food is great! The employees are also great!

I will definitely be back for a burger and their tater tots! Both were delicious. It was the best burger I have had in a while. I did the build yourself burger(arugula not on the list but is available), and it came with a Macrina bun. Macrina is the best bun you can get in Seattle! The review that complained about the bun in the build yourself burger must have especially asked for whole wheat bun, so that is their fault for missing out on the fantastic bun the burgers normally comes with. The fact that they get their buns from the famous local bakery and include Beecher cheese as a cheese options shows that they are using an excellent selection of high quality ingredients. They have fantastic sauces. The tater tots came with a spicy ketchup, and the build yourself burger had a few sauce options such as chipotle sauce I had. It is nice that they offer 3 hour free parking validation.

I wish I could recommend this place. basic burger is $9 and you can add on items for$1ea. I ordered medium rare as it is NeIman ranch beef, which should be good and safe to eat rare. my burger was cooked well done and the bun was good but spongey. I would probably recommend the Two Bells tavern down the street if you're looking for a burger in this area.

Good place inside the hotel for breakfast. The food meets expectations. Service was good, which is consistent with what I would expect from a restaurant inside a Westin hotel.

So if you are into hotel bars then this is the place for you. The burgers are ok but I could name 5 other burger places in Seattle that are better and cheaper.

First off and most importantly, we were greeted by Uri (sp) after about 10 minutes at our table (too long). While he had his fake smile, he was trying to upsell us with everything we ordered (very annoying). For instance, I wanted water and he went on and on about how they had their very own house made sparkling water. I had to tell him several times that I was happy with just the water on the table. I ordered the burger. It was ok--funnily enough it had no condiments, including RELISH, the name of the restaurant. Our table had only ketchup and when I was almost done with my burger, I noticed mustard on other tables and the bar, probably relish too. Of course, it would have been difficult to put condiments on the burger because the bun was soggy. What a shame. My friend ordered a salad and Uri immediately asked, "and what would you like on that? Chicken, Salmon or Beef". Incredibly, he failed to mention that it would be $7 extra for meat and a small piece at that. We felt scammed when the bill came and annoyed most of the time. In fact, (this was totally bizarre), when I gave Uri my money and the check, he says, "how much would you like to tip?" Whaaaaaat??? Are you kidding? So, I had to announce his tip to the entire table. Ugh, the whole thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Won't be back.

I heard about this Burger opening in the Westin a few month ago and did not think much of it. I decided to try the other day and was really surprised. I tried the signature Pike Burger with Bacon, Beechers cheese, house steak sauce and Onion rings on it. It also has a Macrina bakery bun . I also got Tater Tots with parmesan melted on them. The burger had a great balance and was cooked perfectly with the great bun. The tots were also really good with the homemade ketchup they also have. It is a little pricey even for a hotel so, this is not for everyone to go to . The Burger was $14 and you had to order sides extra but, overall I will go again for happy hour.

I didn't have high expectations for this place, but when you have a 4 y.o. and all the "higher end" places simply don't cater to children, you have to take desperate measures. This is located in the Westin Hotel. It was surprisingly OK. It's a burger bar, and while the burger patty itself was pretty decent, overall the burger is only OK. The toppings were simple and fresh but the bun needs work. It was dry and, well, not very good. A bit of a downer. My daughter had some whole grain pasta, but it was pretty bland. Generous amount of chicken in it but not much flavour otherwise. Don't know if they did this on purpose for the palates of children? Anyhoo, if I'm desperate, sure, I'd come but I wouldn't rush back.

We stayed at the Westin, so had burgers from here (ordered take-out) and had beers from here as well. The burgers were really good, and not a bad price ($10-12) for a very filling burger. One order of sweet potato fries ($4) was plenty for three of us to split. The Caesar salad was ok, but I probably wouldn't order it again. The beer selection here is awesome! And they'll let you get a beer from the bar and take it up to your room! Also, beer prices aren't bad ($6-7) for delicious local draft beers (16-20 oz). If I wasn't staying at the Westin, I probably wouldn't make a point of going here, but if you're staying at the Westin and need a quick dinner or something to eat in your room, this is definitely the place to go. Oh, and also, they're open a lot later than many surrounding eateries. I have to say... I was a little apprehensive after reading some of the other reviews on Yelp, but honestly, this place was fine.

Good service, food was ok - a little expensive for what it was. Ordered the egg and bacon burger, presentation looked great but the patty was very salty. Couldn't finish it. Our server was really nice and attentive but I would probably go eslewhere for dinner next time I'm in Seattle.

I came here on my lunch break, what a big mistake. I can't speak much for the sit down part of this place but the to go staff are not friendly and the service is terrible. I feel like this place is over priced as I paid 17.50 for a burger and tots.

  • Winnie S.

Had a late breakfast here and the food was good and nicely presented. A good hotel restaurant. My husband had a bacon and egg sandwich and it was presented with really crispy and well seasoned tater tots in a mini fry basket. The sandwich was light and the bread was not too dense. I had the smoked pacific salmon and bagel. I was expecting just a few slices of salmon and a bagel but I got a big plate of salmon with small lemon wedges, tomato slices with red onion, 2 big blocks of cream cheese and capers on one plate and the nicely toasted bagel with whipped butter on a second plate. The waitress was also very friendly.

Darned good! We were staying at the Westin Hotel. Typically I have an aversion to hotel based restaurants as they seem to have an addiction to average food at slightly above average prices. I was pleased that Relish was a cut above average. The burger ingredients were all of excellent quality, the bacon was nicely thick and perfectly done. The tater tots were awesome, highly recommended. You might pass on this place because it's a hotel restaurant; you'd be doing yourself a disservice. Not what I'd call the best burger in town, but it's a great burger at a fair price.

Waited 10. Min before some one came to ask for my order. Burger was small , but ok. Fries are good. It's expensive . Burger and fries will cost you $15

Hit or miss. Sometimes the burgers are top notch and other times not so much. Good fries. Comfy seats. The servers are a little... off. (I don't know how to describe it better than that.)

I always see the "Relish" sign when I drive by, and I've wanted to try this place for a while. We actually had dinner here on NYE, since we were pretty last minute about making a reservation, so we decided to eat here. I had the bacon and egg burger, which I thought was just ok. I guess I had high expectations, but it was rather bland. BF ordered the half chicken, which was tasty, but according to him, parts of it were really dry. The food here is decent, but there are better options out there if you're looking for an amazing burger.

  • Ciera E.

My roomie and I were in search for a burger with no price point so reserved a spot at Relish. Although there wasn't a lot of people eating there, I would definitely recommend making a reservation or calling ahead of time, just in case. It's inside the westin so its a bit of a search if you're not from the area but well worth a visit. The waiter was excellent at attending to us, gave us some tips on what he liked and was very polite and well mannered. I ordered a bleu cheese burger with shoe string fries. The burger size was definitely a great portion, bigger than is normal, but with the price one could expect an above average portion. Definitely cooked to perfection and the bun was toasted perfectly as well. Overall the presentation of the burger and fries was pristine. The drink that I ordered, a huckleberry mixer, was alright, not the best I've had for the price but had a great presentation. I would definitely come back for a more fancy night out!

Relish Burger Bistro at the Westin Seattle was so brightly light. The atmosphere was a happy contemporary. And I was not feeling well... blahhh. The salmon entree was recommended. Also, the veggie burger on a gluten-free bun. But I went another direction because I needed an exlir.... club soda with sliced lime settled my stomach and a well-done steak (frites) perked me up. The steak wasn't very good as it was fatty, however, I masked the flavor by mixing Tabasco and ketchup. The customer service was impeccable.

Great burgers! Service is a little relaxed, and not rushed as some restaurants, but that's okay...it's made to order. I ordered their prize winning burger (I think it won in 2014/2013): Chicken Caprese burger. So good! If you're not a big eater, maybe split a burger, and get a side. But, I'm telling you, you will eat the entire Chicken Caprese burger if you order it. They also have a decent happy hour menu.

  • Emily V.

We got our food to-go so I can't vouch for the service, but my burger was delicious. Our to-go order was promptly processed (over the phone) and we were called when it was ready. Walked from our hotel to pick it up. My burger--with caramelized onions and ketchup (just how I prefer it) was delicious. The bun was amazing! Really fresh and wonderfully toasted. My fries were delicious. My husband enjoyed his blue cheese burger and sweet potato fries as well. Would definitely try this place again if I was in town.

  • Laa D.

We were greeted promptly and with a smile. Decor was kind of off. I got the feeling that they werent finished with designing .... it was worth the effort but you can def. tell that they are trying to "paint" over the old age of the hotel. I ordered my burger well done which it was. It was seasoned awesomely. I just figured that if youre claiming to have the best burgers in Seattle, that you'd put a little more effort into your fries. They were good but a burger isnt a kick butt burger without matching fries. The huckleberry cocktail I ordered was strong and delicious. Not the best burger in the city but a great runner up!

This place is averaging 3 stars right now, but Yelp's description for 2 stars nails it for me "Meh. I've experienced better." I ordered the Pike Place Signature burger that came with bacon, Beecher's cheese, some onion rings, and barbeque sauce and it was just okay. The problem is, if you're charging $14 for just a burger it better be more than okay. The beef was high quality but didn't really stand out. Maybe there wasn't enough of a sear. The bun was good (a macrina roll). I just can't justify paying that much for a burger when I can go to Lunchbox Laboratory or any number of other burger places in the area and get a better product for less. One other thought, the name of the restaurant is Relish. They offered us two different house relishes to go with the burgers. They were both good on their own but seemed to get lost in everything else when I put them on the burger. Unless you're getting just a plain burger there might not be much draw for that topping.

  • Matt G.

Here is the issue. The food has always been better than average, but the service has always been appalling. I have never been there when it has been overly busy so there's no excuse for having to wait endlessly to order drinks, then wait to order food, then, finally, have to beg to get the bill! That said, I still love the bacon and egg burger.... But stay away from the very mediocre steak frites!

We'd just flown into town and we're staying up the street and walking around looking for a quick and easy dinner before bed. If I'd realized this place was in a hotel before deciding to check it out I probably would have skipped it but I'm glad I didn't. My burger (the signature burger) was excellent from top to bottom. The bun was the perfect bread for a burger; not too soft, not too greasy. The onion rings on it were cooked perfectly and somehow stayed crispy until the end of my burger. The burger itself and bacon were both cooked expertly with the right amount of juiciness and crispy texture and both had a lot of flavor, but the best part was the steak sauce that came with it. I don't usually care for steak sauce but this had just the right balance of tangy and spicy to really pull the flavors of the burger together. The fries and beer were a great accompaniment to the burger itself though weren't remarkable in their own right. If I had to find something to complain about, it would be the price, as $60 after tip is a little steep for burgers for two, but given the quality of the meal I'd still go back.

I went here recently. Like another reviewer said, walk your butt down to Lunchbox Labs or Blue Moon burger, spend less and get more. This place is high cost, low value, and no service. Service was very slow. Burger was $12-15 and didn't include anything like a standard set of fries, that was $4 extra. Fries were not worth the $4. Burger was edible but not seasoned well. No sauce of any sort, had to ask for it. Took forever to have my order taken, got the wrong food, waited a while for a check, and was never really checked on. A lot of the other patrons were visible (and audibly) upset at the lack of service, and food was coming out way too slow. For a burger "bistro" with a catchy name, they didn't offer anything very extraordinary or unusual. I'll go elsewhere from now on when I want a burger. This was a poor choice.

Located in the lobby of the Seattle Westin Relish Burger offers a lightweight, but somewhat interesting, limited menu. Atmosphere 80 Because it is in a fine hotel Service 70 Housewife quality Food 75 Really nothing to write home about Value 70 For what was off erred, it was expensive. Fair place to get a bite on the run - not a place to have a memorable Seattle dinner. Can not vouch for the other choices in the area, but there has to be better. Keep looking.

I was expecting this place to be horrible after reading the reviews, but was surprised by how quick we received our food and how good it tasted Fries and onion rings: nothing special, average Blue Cheese Burger: good, no regrets Mint Pineapple drink: VERY good Do not go here if you are looking for a gourmet burger, but it isn't as bad as everyone is claiming. Would I dine here if I had other burger options? Maybe not Would I be opposed to eating here again? No.

If you want a good mom & pop restaurant food experience, go to a mom & pop restaurant. The food will be better than what is served here. Frozen and over cooked fries, sweet potato fires and onion rings. A place called Relish, better have more then two average relishes to serve. Add the burger bistro component and the burger better shine, and it didn't. Burgers were ordered medium rare and served well done. Piled with crap that didn't enhance the burger at all. Ordered a bacon and egg and the egg was as overcooked as the burger. While the fixturing is nice, the restaurant is dead feeling. Service is OK. Probably would be better but the servers I'm sure have eaten there and are embarrassed to serve the food. Go elsewhere for a better burger experience.

Smallish burgers, but not bad. The best burgers evah? Nope. But still good, worth your while and a very convenient spot if you are staying at the Westin Seattle. This place is located on the main lobby level of the hotel. We ate here twice during our stay at the Westin. Both times were enjoyable. A little on the pricey side for the size of the meal but they offer a decent variety of burgers and topping options. They also do room service to hotel. (If you stay here, pay extra for a view. Totally worth it.) I noticed a lot of dissenting opinions on this rather new establishment. And a lot of negative stuff. But I stand by my four star take on this place. As I wrote a moment ago, the burgers won't make you overly full, but they at least make a decent burger.

Sounded good when reading off the menu but when you actually try it, I thought it was just ok. It was kinda dry. The taters were great though

The accolades first, the Pike Place burger was very good, a signature item. Carmelized onions were spot on. The potato tots were fried perfectly. But the build your own burger needs a better bun, the whole wheat was dry and crumbly. The burger itself just wasn't memorable. Sweet potato fries were thin and too crispy. A fairly typical menu, nothing blazes new trails in burger creativity. Safe, predictable, and maybe that's just fine if the target audience is out of town conventioneers who don't want to venture beyond the confines of the hotel and into Seattle's awesome local restaurant scene. But, the whole atmosphere is just wrong. It's unfortunate it's located in the dated and worn Westin, a place most locals wouldn't consider a destination for good downtown food. The front part of Relish, garishly overlit, feels like an airport lounge trying a little too hard to be cool. Further in, the octagonal windowed pods are depressingly dimly lit, drafty, and lack any sense of style or theme. Looks more like the recycled decor from the previous restaurant. At 6pm on a Tuesday the place was nearly deserted, but our server was impatiently trying to move us along, presenting the check while we were still eating and hovered nearby til we finally opened our wallets. Overall, it's just another hotel restaurant with an ambitious campaign to offer 'the perfect burger', which is setting a pretty high bar in a market that's already crowded with specialty burger purveyors who know their stuff... and their customers.

A solid 4 from me, though I don't think my table mates would say the same. I must say, considering we were right in the thick of PAX, I was surprised that the restaurant was empty. I guess we just planned our day a little better...I dunno. Our server was a nice lady. She kind of reminded me of that aunt that everyone has that's always asking if everything's okay and giving recommendations on what tastes good. My tablemates were sort of over it (we were all servers at some point), but I'm always a fan of well-meaning folks. I actually didn't get a burger and I don't like relish, so I am not able to comment on either of those things. I got the grilled cheese and tomato soup, which was pretty bomb. It's hard to get grilled cheese wrong, but there was a certain spiciness from both the soup and the sandwich (which was loaded with other delicious goodies) that really hit the spot for me. Plus, it was storming outside. Grilled cheese and tomato soup are staples for rainy weather, in my opinion. We all shared a basket of fries, which were quite good. My tablemates ordered burgers, and it sounded like some things were missing on one of them. That is unfortunate...but, I cannot speak for them. Also, that s'mores thing...where...!? How?!?! The other thing I wanted to try on the menu were the tater tot nachos. That sounds like it is made of excellence and childhood. Next time, Seattle!

Fantastic burgers, drinks and dessert. My husband and I visited on a Saturday, great service. You pay more for a burger and sides, but completely worth it, the quality is delicious!

I went for lunch at about 12:40 on a Friday. I sat at the bar and it was reasonably busy. I ordered a burger and sweet potato fries and settled in, understanding it might take a while. The person on my left got her meal. The person on my right finished his. Another person sat to my right. The person on my left finished her meal. The new person on my right got his food. The person on my left left. I looked around and I was the only one at the bar without food. I asked the bartender if there was something wrong with my order, and that the fellow to my right had received his food after ordering it over ten minutes after I ordered mine. The bartender said it was because my burger was well done. After twelve more minutes of waiting, I looked around. The bartender was nowhere to be seen and my food was, for all I knew, never even started. I did what I'd never EVER done before: I stood up and walked out. I had to get back to work and had better things to do than sit around and wait for another 45 minutes without any idea what was going on. The food might be great but I doubt I'll ever find out.

Wonderful food, great service! (Yes it's a bit slow--but as long as you know this, all should be ok!) Natalia did a lovely job. The steelhead burger was very good, the veggie burger was very moderately spiced (not too hot) and the sweet potato fries w/garlic aioli were delicious. Beer was good too, and a nice selection. We will come here again!!

Came to Relish for their Sounders Trivia Event and had a great time! To get the Yelp VIP ticket, I answered the correct Yelp trivia to get into the event that got us a reserved table, meet a Sounders player (Chad Barrett ), complimentary "Chad Barrett Bison Burger", photo ops, and autographed player cards. A big thanks to the Relish staff for hosting this event, everyone was so friendly throughout the entire event, making sure we knew the details of the event and especially providing us a complimentary burger. The "Chad Barrett Bison Burger" was absolutely delicious! Never had bison before, it tasted like beef but leaner but still oh so flavorful, melty cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato and i think caramelized onions, all served on a yummy Macrina Bakery bun. Oh, and stabbed with their signature pickle "spear". Been here a few times already and they've been wonderful! Great downtown location, great service and of course great burgers!

Over priced burger bar. Ordered their signature burger medium rare, came out well done. Meat was sub standard for the price they charge. One would assume a "burger bar" would know how to cook a burger properly. Burgers were more about presentation than quality. They look impressive but are very bland and leave you wondering where is the flavor. One saving grace was our waitress. Wish I remembered her name to give her kudos, but she did an outstanding job.

A group of us Yelpers came in to try the 12th Man burger that Dawn, Lee, Kyla and I had created for the Yelp Build Your Own Burger competition earlier this month. I was excited when we won, but not as much as when I learned that Relish would be offering our burger as their weekly special burger of the week. Big time bucket list item crossed off. Our group tried several appetizers, including chips and dip, wings, and bacon Mac and cheese. The latter was among the best Mac and cheese I have ever had; I ordered an extra portion just to take home. They make their own sodas in-house: I had the pineapple-chipotle, which tasted mostly of pineapple with a spicy kick. The 12th man burger is a chicken burger with Gruyere cheese, arugula, tomatoes, avocado, roasted poblano peppers, garlic aioli and the house Relish sauce in a Macrina Sodo bun. The chicken patty itself is spicy and flavorful, the cheese is like a concentrated Swiss. The burger was huge, the kind you have to squeeze tight and open your mouth wide just to take a bite. The special came with a side, so I got Parmesan tots. The service was great, our waiter was attentive and friendly and made great suggestions for what to order. Some of the management came out and talked to us for a while. They told us they had tried and liked the 12th man burger. It was one of the prouder moments of my life. Objectively though, Relish has some great food and shouldn't be overlooked as "just a hotel restaurant".

Having been here three times now I can say this is a super solid spot. In fact, I'm ashamed to admit that of all the times I've driven or walked past, I never went in until recently. I think there's a misconception that because it's at the base of a hotel it's either not so great or it's popular for tourists only. But I recently bought a place in the neighborhood and have come by for lunch and dinner. Happy hour is insane and the deals you get on food and drink are great. The burgers here are customizable so if you don't like what you see on the menu or you have a specific craving, they can make just about anything here. That goes for vegetarian options too. I've had a burger on one visit and other mixed appetizers on another. You can't go wrong with anything here but since they specialize in burgers you ought to give 'em a try. They have everything from chips & salsa to spinach salads to chicken and waffles, sliders, and even s'mores platters! They bring a little portable campfire right to your table and you can make your s'mores however you like them. This is perfect for larger groups of at least 3-4 because it comes with a lot of fixins. They have TVs inside for people not wanting to miss the game, and they have a lot of really great window seating if you want to people watch or sit somewhere that feels more open. The ceilings are vaulted so the space looks and feels enormous. The lighting is cool and the space really is much hipper and more modern than I had expected. I love the big chunky wooden tables and floors. Everything is clean, service is friendly, and you can't beat their prices. For a downtown food option you're getting really good quality for the price.

5/5 food 3/5 prices 2/5 service As soon as we walked in I could tell something would go wrong with our meal. They sat our party of 5 down at a tiny ass square table designed for 4. Yes, they did ask us if that was okay. But really I didn't see the point in doing that when the restaurant was half empty. Then they forgot to bring a 5th set of silverware over. That's 2 strikes. When we're ordering drinks my very young looking Asian girlfriend orders one and the waitress asks to see her ID. But then when she comes back with the water she apologizes because she can't serve my gf drinks because she's under 21. Except that she isn't and the waitress read the date on the ID wrong. Innocent mistake. But why did she have to go all the way back and grab our water and then come back to tell us that, instead of just telling us that in the damn first place when we were ordering drinks? 3 strikes. I ordered a build-a-burger with onion rings and mushrooms for toppings. My gf ordered fries with her burger. My burger did not have onion rings and her fries did not arrive with her burger. 5 strikes. The fries were $4 for a tiny tin basket of fries. What the hell. Also the waitress dropped 3 fries on the ground while bringing them to our table. 8 strikes. Then they charged us for 2 orders of fries on the receipt. 9 strikes. So yeah the food was pretty good but I would never go back there.

This was my first time since I came here for a yelp event a while ago but it was definitely a great experience. The burger I had was absolutely delicious, it was the roasted mushroom burger. I didn't like that it didn't come with fries just from a personal side but there was still definitely more than enough food to begin with. The drink I ordered was VERY strong and normally that would be fine but it was difficult to enjoy casually with my meal. Outside of this, the staff was extremely nice and did I mention that sitting in their "outside" area gives you a great view of downtown. I would definitely go again and probably will soon!

Located in the Westin Seattle, Relish is not your typically burger place. The quality of ingredients here is what sets Relish apart as a leader. The amount of toppings available are insane- take a look at the menu and if you want to customize your burger you are able to make great creations. One thing I do not like is on the menu for build your burger- the toppings look rather limited; however, you are able to literally make and customize it anyway you want (I am not sure if some items will cost more though). The burger that is a slider with an onion ring is out of this world delicious- it is just the right size and the flavors blend together amazingly. Great place in the Seattle area and they will even help with the parking bill at the Westin.

Downtown/Belltown location, easy to walk from busy routes, inside the Westin hotel. I've stayed at this Westin hotel before for 3 days and across from it for months and never thought of trying this place since there were so many options nearby! My loss as it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. So I went to Relish for an event and like I said, was pleasantly surprised by the cool ambience, service and their burger creations. I did not try their regular menu, but the mini burgers I tried were delicious. The beef was well seasoned and the chicken burger patty was juicy and moist. They have a full bar and they served a delicious honeydew melon drink. Definitely a place to keep on my list for a burger. They also have a decent happy hour worth trying.

Relish Burger Bistro place is quite an ok burger place. Even though it looks a little high end (because it's right next to the Westin hotel), the actual vibe place is casual enough and doesn't feel too formal. The waiters made you feel relaxed and not like you are formally dining in a high end hotel restaurant. I was there to meet up with a few friends for burgers, and thought their burgers were ok. You could customize your burgers or get the burgers they already have on their menus. However, the price was a little too high (not surprising, given its downtown location and more upscale setting) given it was really just a burger, but would probably be quite ok if you go during their happy hours. If I were to think of a burger place around Seattle in general, though, I wouldn't think of Relish immediately (but that could be my preference for eating a burger in a place where I wouldn't feel so embarrassed if I had meaty juice running down my chin or fixings falling out of my hand as I dig my face into the burger). However, I wouldn't mind coming back here again at all if someone suggested the place or if we were around the hotel and were looking for a place to eat.

Ordered to go for my family tonight. All the burgers were amazing. My wife had the black bean burger. It had a whole roasted Poblano pepper and an amazing " avocado crema". My daughter got her burger just the way she likes it she said it was way better than Uneeda burger, which was her favorite. I had mine with Marco Polo cheese from Beechers with caramelized onions and mushrooms with their house steak sauce it was awesome, sweet /spicy/savory. The buns were very high quality from Macrina bakery that held up to all the toppings.Next time I visit I will try one of their signature burgers. I just found my new favorite burger spot.

This burger was so good! It was a nice size burger with amazing flavor. They also offer other items on the menu too. Like a mac and cheese that I had a few bites of that was delicious. Everyone at my table was more than happy with their meal. I also had the raspberry mint soda that was really refreshing and crisp. The burger doesn't include fries, so watch out for that fine print. Also the decoration and atmosphere of this place is great too.

I ate here after getting rave reviews from my parents. Well, my cheeseburger was pretty much raw. I know what medium & medium rare are. This was still mooing. I have been a cheeseburger lover my whole life & will pretty much never turn one down. Not only did I turn this one down, but after only 2 bites, I couldn't even think of eating a re-fire. Sad, because my family had a much different experience. I travel to The Westin frequently, so maybe I'll give them another shot. But for now, they are on the bottom of my burger list.

I wish my husband and I had enjoyed Relish more thoroughly, but we were a little bummed. My husband ordered the Relish Signature Burger and I ordered the Relish Chopped Salad. Although our waitress was friendly, the time to receive our order was a little lengthy. Being a Friday evening, the restaurant was not packed by any stretch. Our dinner left quite a bit to be desired. However, the actual hamburger meat was tasty and very well cooked, the "fixins" on the burger were actually kind of bland. The salad wound up being rather small; just a little bit larger than the standard side salad you would get at a traditional restaurant. All of this being said, we were more than a little disenchanted that everything on the meal was a la carte. Accordingly, my husband ordered a side of shoestring fries that were $3 and about the size of a "medium" at a fast-food restaurant making is $15 burger now an $18 meal. Considering how bland the entire burger was (aside from the well cooked patty) the plate was not worth $18. My salad was $13. Not such a bad price point for its size, but definitely missed the mark on being an admirable "chop" salad. The one wonderful part of the salad was the local Beecher's cheese. Unfortunately, the extras in the salad (such as eggs, bacon, avocados, etc) were minimal. I had requested the salad's vinaigrette on the side and was glad that I did. It was a very zesty dressing, but overwhelmed the flavors because there wasn't much of the "extras". We felt as if there were several details on the menu that left us to our own deductions. The a la carte was not listed anywhere but it was clear in the descriptions of the burgers and other items that you would have to order your side separately. Secondly, there were several items in the column of other non-burger meals that left a lot open for interpretation. For instance, there was a Steak Frites that only described the fries. But the price tag clearly made it seem as if there was a steak in the dish, but the steak cut or method of cooking was not described. Being in the Westin Hotel, you need to use the hotel lobby restrooms. Anyone who knows anything about The Westin Seattle must know that it needs updates. One of the first things that needs to be updated is the restroom. The ladies restroom does have a nice hand washing station with beautiful counters, but the floors are dingy as are the restroom stalls. Not what you expect out of this hotel chain. Overall, we were pleased with the ambience and our waitress, but suffice everything to say we likely will not be returning. There are better burgers with better flavors at a price tag worthy of an $18 plate. Sorry Relish...we wish it could have been a better meal.

I really liked this place. I went to Relish because I wanted deep fried pickles and also fried beecher's cheese curds. Both were perfectly cooked and not at all greasy. I also had a veg burger and that was good, too. I agree with the other Yelper's that the bun is nice, heavier bread. My fries were also cooked perfectly. Our service was also excellent, very attentive yet not intrusive. We went a little early so were there well before the dinner rush. I definitely recommend this place for those times when you want to nosh on fried foods. I also recommend coming here with kids. There were a couple of other tables near us with small children so you won't be the only ones.

So, here's the thing: Most of my burger reviews need to be taken with a grain of salt. There's a time and a place for the zany but when it comes to burgers I'm all plain jane. In a way, I think that's where I can better tell the difference between a good burger and an "okay" burger that compensates with a ton of sauces, fried onions, bacon, peanut butter, or whatever the new topping craze is. To put it simply: this was a good burger. I went (of course) with the Classic and it was prepared perfectly, it was HUGE, and even for being "classic" it was a bit messy. I ended up having to give up using my hands and look like the snoot that always eats with a fork and knife just in order to save my clothes from any disasters. Your fries (or tots) are a separate expense, but just as delicious. Regular, sweet potato, parmesan, garlic, herb, chipotle were all terms floating around on the "sides" portion of the menu. I thought the fries were fantastic (but I'm a fan of shoe-stringers) and my boss enjoyed the parmesan tots. The service was just ok, though. Our server didn't check in much at all which forced us to grab things from empty tables that we didn't have. We didn't get a chance to return the dirty silverware, either. The restaurant portion away from the bar is nice, and it doesn't feel so much like you're in a hotel as the bar does -- both are very modern and clean looking. Seeing as the bill for one was higher than my usual cost for lunch by $5 pre-tax and tip, I think I'd only stop by for the occasional lunch with a friend - but not a bad spot for a burger in an area that doesn't seem to have many.

BEST BURGER EVER!!! That's all I really have to say. Everything about the burger my husband and I each had, is Positive. We stayed in the Westin, where it is located; so calling it in and picking them up 20 mins later was super convenient. :))

So the food here is definitely solus bit man this service is killing me. Came in after the lunch rush, not busy at all. I walk up to the hostess stand to get an order to go and what seemed like the manager Arabic lady greets me. I tell her I'm looking for an order to go and know what I want. She directs me over to the barista who is busy making coffee for someone and one person ahead of me. I look at her and ask really? You can't take my order? She hands me a menu which I already have in hand and points towards the barista. Wow! The barista was a nice Russian lady who did her best to take care of everyone while the other lady was at the hostess stand. Unbelievable! Yikes!

First time awesome food and ok service. Second time, incorrectly prepared food and abysmal service. I read the reviews and got what I expected. A really good burger and mediocre service. I wasn't in any hurry and everything was super good. So call it a 4 star experience (5 for the food, 3 for the service). So I went again. My burger came out well done when I ordered medium rare. That happens. However I tried and tried to get the waiters attention. No luck. So I ate an overcooked burger. This is the downside of lousy service, when something goes wrong. So good food, but horrible service.

Tucked inside the Westin, this burger place is about what you'd expect: gourmet burgers (hint: not frozen patties) at hotel prices. Service is quick, and they offer a discount to SPG members along with SPG points for dollars spent. The menu is fairly basic, so if you come to Relish thinking beyond burgers, you'll be disappointed. Chicken and salmon burgers are offered if beef is not your thing. The restaurant hostess will, if asked, validate parking for 3 hours. This is great if you have a meeting at the hotel and are looking for a quick in-and-out meeting/meal combo. Otherwise, Westin's valet parking will set you back the typical Downtown rates of ~$25 / day or $46 for overnight guests. Put that way, the burgers pay for themselves... Will return if in the area and need a quick bite.

We love trying new places, so We came here for my husband's birthday, to try a different burger place and had heard good things- and it was! They warmly greeted us and gave us a great table by the window. Ordered wine and beer- very good pours of each. We didn't try the sodas- will save that for next time- but we did order the beechers cheese curds, and boy were they good! Perfectly golden and so good, crunchy and cheesy at the same time with a perfect melt. My husband ordered the mushroom burger and he loved it. I ordered a build your own with beef, lettuce, tomato, beechers flagship cheddar, applewood smoked bacon and roasted garlic aioli- words can't express how well it was cooked! I had made reservations, not knowing if it would be crazy with Seattle restaurant week, and I mentioned on there it was his birthday, and without saying anything, they brought him a brownie sundae! The service was great, good food, we will come back.

This has to be a first. I was 2/3's done with the burger before I realized it had zero condiments! I ordered the classic ($11) and swapped the regular onions for caramelized onions. On the last bites I added some of their house relish, but it really didn't need it. The burger patty was perfectly cooked, just ever so slightly pink, almost unnoticeable; it was moist and juicy, but the juices were not bloody either...just right. Oh and the bun. THE BUN! It's made by some local bakery, did not not fall apart (even with all those juices), wasn't soggy, but also wasn't too crispy. I think it even may have had a sweet glaze on it. Anyway, treat yourself and go relish a Relish burger!

Poor experience all around. 2 hostesses, neither of which even acknowledged us. We asked for a table for 3 and were simply told "there's a wait." We had to inquire about how long the wait was. Decided to just sit at the bar. Bartender didn't say hello or hi or howdy just put rough looking menus in front of us and walked away. We finally got to order and I never actually received my sprite, seemingly too hard to remember. My coworker's food came out a full 10 minutes before mine without any apology or explanation. Bartender would disappear for long stretches leaving everyone with empty glasses and would then return seemingly annoyed to have to do his job; forget doing his job in a friendly manner... Overpriced for such terrible service. Won't recommend or return.

Service is super slow here...I got the signature burger with a side of sweet potato fries that was supposed to be bacon, onion rings, lettuce, tomato, pickle...instead I got a plain burger. -_- I didn't want to wait for the guy so I walked over to where he was and informed him that my burger was wrong. They took my burger back and returned it to me pretty quickly...but forgot my fries. -_- they came back with my fries and a side of garlic mayo. I was really confused. Anyway, it's pricey for not very great burgers. You're better off going to Lunch Box Labs

Not impressed with the prices not the availability of gluten free options. You are a hotel, that should be a must. Especially with customers from around the world with varying food issues and allergies. I ended up with the fresh fruit and that it wasn't. It was hard and crunchy and expensive.

The burgers here are OK. it has a cafeteria feel to it which I didn't enjoy. I think the Westin can do better personally. Staff was decent but nothing too special. I love a good burger. Can't quite explain but it just felt like meh.

Popped in for a drink and burger around 7pm on a Saturday night. The bartender on shift, Jenni, was great! Funny, clever and very good at her job. She made sitting alone at the end of the bar not so lonely after all! I ordered my dinner based on her suggestions, the bacon and egg burger and apple pie for dessert. Both great, though I'm not used to American applewood / maple bacon! Haha. Could have gone for seconds on the apple pie though that would have been a bit extravagant.

When Relish opened its doors I was reminded of a build-your-own burger restaurant fad from the 80's as exemplified by Flakey Jakes and Fudruckers. I had fond memories of these places and secretly hoped that Relish would somehow transport me back to this familiar experience from my youth. This was probably naïve because like Ponce de León, I was searching for something that didn't exist. Relish is a Starwood Hotel restaurant brand. You'll see them at many of their Westin properties. What I found was a hotel restaurant that doesn't live up to its promise as a "burger bistro." Relish has a surprisingly limited number of burgers on the menu, and a similarly limited number of condiment options available to "build your own burger." Perhaps more disappointing though is that their burgers are pretty average. If you're someone who has gone out of your way to eat at a place billed as a "burger bistro," you'd probably expect a really good burger? Or at least a lot of burger choices, right? Unfortunately, Relish just doesn't deliver. I give them kudos for offering both ground beef and a vegetarian option. Their burgers are prepared and presented quite nicely, and they have a good selection of sides to accompany them (fries, both sweet potato and traditional, as well as tater tots and onion rings). The trouble is, even in this clean and pleasant environment, the burgers lacks the flavor and texture you would expect from a speciality burger joint. Relish is exactly what you would expect from a hotel. Expensive and bland with average service. I can't recommend Relish for any of their food. Especially if you're looking for a great local burger. "Move along now. Nothing to see here."

Tonight was just not my night. Service was good, but the burger, not so much. Ordered a medium rare burger, no bun, cheddar, with chipotle remoulade. The side chopped salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, mixed greens, onions and banana peppers with a zesty lemon vinaigrette was by far the best part of the meal. The burger arrived medium, but seemed like the cook pressed out all the juices. By the time I got it, it was like rubber. Even cutting it was difficult with a knife no less. Not sure if the kitchen was preoccupied or what. Didn't expect this from a restaurant inside a Westin hotel. Very disappointed. On a side note, the waiter was prompt, attentive, and polite. May give this spot another chance because of the waiter, but will not be ordering a beef burger here again.

Good food and service. We will be back. My only suggestion is for a little warmer fries. The onion rings were perfect.

In Seattle and want a burger? Then this is the place. Great food and great service! Had their special burger with tater tots - both were excellent. Burgers cooked to perfection on a roll with substance. Tater tots are tater tots, right? Wrong! The tater tots here set a new standard for crispness and flavor. Going back tomorrow for sure.

Food was good. Except my burger was not what I ordered. I ordered takeout because I was short on time. There is a cafe like stand outside the bar area and that is where you place your order. There was an Asian guy and a blonde girl at the stand. I asked for the takeout menu and the Asian guy gave it to me. Shortly after, he left. I looked at the options and decided to go for the $12 specialty salmon burger. $10 for a classic burger without sides is already slightly pricey. But I thought I may as well try the speciality. The blonde girl took my order and asked me some questions in terms of sides. My brown bag came out less than 10 minutes after I placed my order. I was so hungry and I started eating immediately. I was like oh good burger but why does it not taste like salmon. I looked at the meat color, it still did not look like salmon to me. Here are my pictures: yelp.com/biz_photos/reli… yelp.com/biz_photos/reli… But again, I was short on time and tried to finish the burger as soon as possible. The burger was pretty tasty. However, I got so curious before finishing last several bites and looked at my receipt finally. And it said CLASSIC BURGER. What a disappointment. I was one of the few people ordering takeout and how was it possible to get it wrong?

Great food, nice sized portions, good ambience and quick service from friendly hosts. Went on New Years Eve and the line wasn't too long. Would recommend.

Yelpers tried to warn me, but I went anyway. Now I am doomed to repeat the words I should have heeded: Great food, slooooooooooooooooow service. Place was almost empty at 1 PM when my partner and I went there for lunch, yet it took them around 40 minutes to fulfill our order. Burgers don't take that long. Pros: -Interesting hand-made sodas (I got the grapefruit rosemary which had lots of actual grapefruit and rosemary in it). -Some kind of crazy-delicious chipotle sauce thing. -Very good food overall. Neutral: -Quality and manner of service, attentiveness, professionalism etc. The hosts and servers were pleasant enough and competent enough--and no one was a jerk... but no one seemed very confident either. There wasn't that welcoming, authoritative polish and poise you want from a higher end lunch spot. Cons: -Slow -Expensive (I guess... hard to know what's acceptable for a fancy burger joint. Lunch was around $40 for 2. Not over the top. I don't think I would have minded paying if the food had arrived faster.) -Slow. Yes, again. It's that bad. I probably won't go back until I hear that the speed of service has been addressed. But if they do fix that problem, the food is probably worth the money.

1: Lousy service + 2: way overcooked burger = 3: big mistake A few decent craft beers could not rescue what looked like a quick meal in my hotel. Very disappointed, especially in the awful service. I was one of only six people in the restaurant too. I couldn't even find an employee to let them know my burger was ruined. I just ate it well done. Too much competition nearby to go here. Try elsewhere.

The staff here are friendly but the service was slow and disorganized. We arrived at an empty hostess station with no indication if we should wait or seat ourselves. After a few minutes we drifted into the seating area, and inquired with a harried busser. We were directed back to the empty hostess station, and after a couple more minutes the hostess floated by to say she would be "riiiiight with us" - which she was! We were seated in an empty area of the restaurant and it took 5 or 6 minutes for the server. That's ok, means we had our choices made! Drinks took too long to arrive - we only ordered beer & wine. The waitress didn't notify us the choice of beer was no longer available until she dropped off the wine. Very awkward. The food was variable; spinach dip was excellent, but the hummus was overly salty. The fried cheese curds were good, but should come with a little more sauce. The waitress tried to clear plates at the wrong times too (still eating, went to the restroom). If we had been in any kind of a hurry it would have been much more annoying.

Since we're staying in the Westin, were Relish is located, we decided to try it out. They share the same menu/kitchen as the hotel room service menu but it's about 40% cheaper to go the restaurant to eat. (Room service tacks on 18% grat + tax + $5 delivery fee). The menu choices looked really good and our server was very friendly. Other reviews complain that the service was slow but when we were in it was moderately busy and our food came quickly. No complaints from us on having to wait. I had the classic burger, it was okay. In Canada no where asks how you want your burger done so I tend to not order them in the US since I'm not sure how to order! I said medium well and my burger was charred and dry. Perhaps this is my own fault but I thought that would be more like very well done. You also have to ask for mayo if you want it - doesn't come with. I had the deep fried pickles as a side, they were nice and golden crispy outside and soft inside. I think they could have been taken up a minute sooner but still very good. My friend has the steak frites. He said it was a bit bland but the sauce that came with it made up for that. It was cooked perfectly to his tastes and the fries were really good. Overall an okay experience, though I expect much more from a kitchen run by Westin/Starwood. It's convenient and well priced.

I had an extremely delicious burger at this establishment today for lunch :). I ordered from the "make your own" menu and got an artisan bun, beef burger, beechers cheddar cheese, and guacamole! man was it good. I added on some ketchup and it was top notch. We shared some sides around the table as well. Fries were great, tater tots were amazing. Who doesn't love tater tots! Overall I definitely recommend this place. Very delicious and a really easy lunch spot!

Located inside the Westin Hotel, which makes it very convenient for the guest staying there. Unfortunately for the price of the food we paid and the taste of it, it was not worth it. I decided to try out their Steelhead salmon burger. The salmon burger was a bit too dry and very average on the rest of the flavors. Nothing really tasty or outstanding of it, nothing worth making me want to try it again. Service was alright. I was there for the food and was hoping it would be a lot better than it was. I mean, it is a burger bistro! Being a burger bistro you would hope that their burgers would at least taste a bit better and not meh.

Fabulous food. Stayed at the Westin for 7 days. Ate at Relish X3. The breakfast spinach and egg white omelet was so amazing I have craved it every morning since eating it. It was juicy, great flavor and cooked perfectly. The next was just apps. Fried pickles and calamari. So good. I they were both super fresh and great taste. Had another meal and got the wedge salad. Now that is what I am talking about with a salad. Nice big portion. Definite bag for the buck. It was worth the 12 dollars and had tasty ranch dressing. Our other travelers are a burger and stated the best burger they have had with all the "fixins". When we were there for another meal our old server came up to us to see how we were and remembered our favorite sauce we ordered the time before. He let the bartender know and we were served another calamari with ranch dressing. Amazing food for a hotel restaurant. Would definitely suggest if a local or visiting. Come visit the amazing staff at Relish.

Flame grilled burger to the max which is good, but when u do not throw in the fries like it should be then that is where my issue lye. My $12 burger with eggs and bacon just became $16 with the fries. I know its in the Westin hotel but does it have to be that expensive?

We tried relish for the 1st time last night. The guy who helped us needed major attitude adjustment. I viewed there photos on yelp excited to try the tots w/herbs & parmesan. I place my order just saying I'd like to try the tots. Then as he hands me my tots, he says "here are your plain tots". I said what about the herbs and Parmesan? He said that's not want you ordered. Bating his eyes with this bitchy attitude. I told him I didn't know there was an option. He won't even look at me, as he says "well...if you want to wait! We can do one with the herbs and Parmesan" I said yeah. His response "well it would just be easier to get it on the side" When it should've been melted over top etc. Bad customer service for I will not return.

Oh for freak's sake, this so-called bistro is a failure to many a great burger restaurant I've enjoyed up to this point. How in the world could a "burger bistro" mess up so badly with the very basics of burgers? Please allow me to tell you about why it's not worth the trip here. First off, I did try their Happy Hour menu. I saw one of my favorite dishes to eat: Deviled Eggs. Okay, deviled eggs, pretty hard to mess up? At $6, this thing's going to be spectacular, right? WRONG! They manage to mess up eggs pretty badly with a very underwhelming egg yolk mixture with a pinch of cayenne, which was the only thing flavorful about the dish. The egg yolk mixture tastes like store-bought mayo with yellow food coloring. Not only that, but they also serve the eggs on a rather useless salad with some vinegar, guacamole, and pickled peppers. I thought that was bad, but the burger is very underwhelming in terms of flavor. The Relish Signature Burger is bad for many reasons: burger is not seasoned at all (having been masked by the crispy onion ring and bacon it comes with. It's very generic with its corny garnishes of a speared pickle and banana pepper on a toothpick. The best part about this burger is the onion ring. That's not good news. Not only that, but you don't even get a side for its $15 asking price. To top it off, the bar service wasn't very good. Long story short: Go to McDonald's. You'll have a much more flavorful experience there.

Yikes!

BEST BURGER EVER!!! That's all I really have to say. Everything about the burger my husband and I each had, is Positive. We stayed in the Westin, where it is located; so calling it in and picking them up 20 mins later was super convenient. :))

Good service and Good food! Things to try: - flavored sodas - salmon burger - cooked well with good flavor. Probably the only fish burger that I've ever enjoyed eating - sweet potato fries! yum - bacon with brussel sprouts

Fantastic burgers, drinks and dessert. My husband and I visited on a Saturday, great service. You pay more for a burger and sides, but completely worth it, the quality is delicious!

Had an early lunch here on the way out of the hotel for the day. The service was absolutely excellent and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the cheese curds from the starters menu and burgers are all great. I would definitely come back any time.

Not impressed with the prices not the availability of gluten free options. You are a hotel, that should be a must. Especially with customers from around the world with varying food issues and allergies. I ended up with the fresh fruit and that it wasn't. It was hard and crunchy and expensive.

In Seattle and want a burger? Then this is the place. Great food and great service! Had their special burger with tater tots - both were excellent. Burgers cooked to perfection on a roll with substance. Tater tots are tater tots, right? Wrong! The tater tots here set a new standard for crispness and flavor. Going back tomorrow for sure.

The burgers here are OK. it has a cafeteria feel to it which I didn't enjoy. I think the Westin can do better personally. Staff was decent but nothing too special. I love a good burger. Can't quite explain but it just felt like meh.

I came here on my lunch break, what a big mistake. I can't speak much for the sit down part of this place but the to go staff are not friendly and the service is terrible. I feel like this place is over priced as I paid 17.50 for a burger and tots.

No.

Wow. For three burgers in a nearly empty restaurant, it took nearly an hour to get our food. Puzzling, considering there were 6 cooks in the kitchen. The burgers were good, but it wasn't worth the wait. The waitstaff were kind, but not well trained.

Yep, expect your order to be a little wrong. Somewhere between the waitress' notepad to delivery my order was changed. But just a little. It was good, tater tots were good. But nothing special. Also, if the waitress takes your diet coke to refill it...it might not come back!
