This was good chicken pot pie...small, but rich & just enough filling, so you can enjoy the crust. Located in the Armory food court outside the space needle. We did take out & ate at the international fountain, which turned out to be a great decision.

This place is located inside the seattle armory center. Decided to try one of their pies, they were cute liking. We decided to try the blueberry mango and it was yummy, such a perfect size.

Pie is the second location of the same name pie purveyor in Fremont. This location is at the Seattle Center Armory (food court). The selection here is similar to what the Fremont location offers, but it has some extras. They sell bottled local craft beer (ex. Hilliard's), offers ice cream from Full Tilt, coffee from Victrola and has side items like soup. Like the other location, you can find an assortment of sweet and savory pies ranging in price from $4.50 to $5.95. With the savory ones being on the high end of that range. Tried their blackberry key lime pie ($4.75). It was really delectable with a cheesecake like flavor to it. The blackberry coloring was evident in the pie, but it was pretty much a non-factor as the key lime flavor dominates. Nevertheless if you are looking for a cream pie option, this is a nice choice. Since it is in the Armory, there is plenty of space to enjoy your pie. There is a designated seating space for Pie, but you could always go outside or find seating on the other side of Armory if you want to. I think the beer has to be consumed on the premises though if you get some. Seattle Center has free Wi-Fi if you want to peruse the web while eating. If you can't make it out to the original Pie location in Fremont, the one in the Armory will do and is just as good.

We were in the area, after visiting the Space Needle and Chihuly Museum. DH got two pies from here. The chicken pot pie was marvelous. Just as I imagined it would be, with a tasty gravy and buttery crust. The pie was quite hot temperature-wise. The other pie, English Meat Pie, was just so-so. Seemed quite under-seasoned. DH said, "I had high hopes for that." Portion size was good. Prices are not too bad, around $6.50 each after tax. Worth it for the Chicken Pot Pie, but not the other one.

Yum yum pies! Likely my go-to for pies here in Seattle. The people there have great recommendations, but I personally enjoyed: the Peanut Butter Cream, Marionberry, Strawberry Rhubarb, and English Meat (savory). My only gripe is that they seem to run out of the popular pies by mid-afternoon. -1 star for that. If you're around for Pi day (March 14) swing by for $3.14 pies!

After going to the Fremont location in the past, I just discovered this location in the Seattle on a recent trip. I got the strawberry rhubarb this time and it was wonderful. Flaky buttery crust with a rich tart filling. Be sure to check out their day old selections too for a little discount.

Love it! I have been a fan of Pie for years and hadn't ever made it to the Armory to try their goods. My mom was in town visiting from San Francisco and as we strolled through Seattle Center and hit up some tourist spots, as we walked around we decided on a snack but something not too heavy. Pie was perfect because their actual pies aren't massive, but they also have small bite-sized pies if you're wanting something small or you want to try a variety of items. Because this space is really busy, the selection was limited closer to the end of the day. Around 5pm there were just about 8 pies to choose from, 5 of which were savory. I nabbed the last mini key lime pie and my mom got a strawberry rhubarb. Both were delicious, the crust was perfect, and the price couldn't be beat.

I want to love it but I am just in deep like with it. I had the bacon mac and cheese pie and it was tasty but not hot enough for my liking. If you just want a small, not heavy meal while checking out Seattle, then this is a good place to stop.

Located inside the Armory at the Seattle Center, the pies are pretty darn delicious. We wanted to order a savory and sweet pie but they were out of the apple pie so we opted to get two savory pies. My boyfriend ordered the Channa Masala and I got the Beef Bourguignon. The Beef Bourguignon was really tasty, like a beef stew almost and Channa Masala tasted almost like a curry, I could taste all the herbs mixed in it. In the end I preferred what I ordered and my boyfriend preferred his. lol Don't like looks deceive you, even though these pies look small, they're pretty filling! The filling is nice and warm and the crust was flaky. Definitely worth of try!

Pies galore. I didn't find four & twenty blackbirds baked in a pie. Nor did I stick in my thumb & pull out a plum. But the atmosphere at Seattle Center this particular weekend could be called a fair (Chive Fest, Polish Fest, et al.) & I certainly paid more than a penny to taste their wares. It was an unseasonably hot day and we were tired and cranky. We just had lunch so we decided on a key lime pie to sweeten our dispositions. It was awesomely delicious. The dough was pretty thick and not as tender or flaky as I would prefer, but that was to be expected. You're supposed to be able to eat these pies without utensils, while holding them in your hand. The filling was dense with an intense flavor & was perfectly sweet, tart. We polished off the pie lickety split and it did revive us. I now wish we had bought pies to go but I didn't want to stand in line again. With only 1 person manning the counter, the line was always long and never diminished. I definitely want to return to taste the rest of their menu.

The savory pies (chicken pot pie) is awesome. Four star pie. The pies that are referred to as "ugly pies" -- key lime, Guinness & mint chocolate chip pies weren't so good. The flavors were a bit too over powering. Cleverly priced at $3.14 each from noon to 3:14 PM on Pi Day. I'm definitely no mathlete, but capable of sampling some pie. Two star pies.

Before heading to Portland, my family made a pit stop at the armory for some food togo. My mom was on a mission and wanted to get food from a place that was unique and that "we couldn't get in California." After surveying the premises, this spot was the winner! We ordered the following: 1. Chicken Pot Pie: DELICIOUS! Big fan of the flaky crust and the chunky fixins inside. I loved how it tasted fresh and was not super heavy. The portion size seems small, but was perfect if you want to feel content and not overstuffed. This was my favorite of all the pies. 2. Cheeseburger Pie: This one was a bit salty for me. Overall, I like the concept. I probably would have drizzled a bit of ketchup to cancel out the saltiness I experienced. 3. Key Lime & Peach Mini Pies: These were enjoyable little desserts of bite size proportions. I preferred the Key Lime over the Peach because of my preference for citrus flavors. I walked away with a good impression and enjoyed the novelty of the portioned pies. If I had to pick a star of the selections we made...CHICKEN POT PIE all the way!

Pie. Fresh delicious pie. Oh, how I love thee. As for pies from Pie... they get a thumbs up from me, but are juuuust shy of getting the hi-5. I've been here a couple of times and sampled both their savory and sweet pies, and in most of the cases, they were pretty danged good. The pies were built so that you could eat out the center, and still be left with enough crust -- and for those of us who love the crust as much as we do the filling, there's plenty of both. They don't feel heavy on the stomach and are made with TLC. So, what's the downside? My last mac and cheese pie was a little overdone (the mac had become crunchy, which is never good) -- and the time before that, they didn't have any mac ready at all. Plus, the prices are a little premium for what you're getting - although - having "day old" pies at $3.14 is ridiculously cute. Yes, it's in a touristy area, and can easily be claimed as a tourist trap, but I think these folks put a lot of heart and soul into their pies, so I can't fault them for that at all. A couple of tweaks, and they'll be perfect.

Went in to get pies for Thanksgiving to take to my son's last November. I had looked at reviews and they seemed OK. Went in, without pre ordering and found nothing worthy of buying. I don't think WA is a big pie state like TX is. The woman behind me left too. No idea what they tasted like, but weren't what I am used to. Next Thanksgiving I will bake my own pies.

  • Nick J.

I honestly thought the pie was fairly good but the service was awful. No customer connection or attention. The girl could care less if I was there or not. Taking care of customers should be first and foremost instead I was ignored as I said thank you for being given my food. Get it together. *Edit* almond cream pie was stale. Seriously??

  • Neha M.

Its not all that! Other reviewers had me believe that this place was the bomb. I'd say it's pretty good but did not match up to high expectations set by some of the reviews. I love pies and couldn't wait to try Pie. Went over and got: 1. mushroom 2. chicken 3. mac and cheese with peas Mushroom and chicken pot pies were good but not outstanding. I had really high hopes from mac and cheese one, but it was made very poorly. Mainly due to mac and cheese been made poorly. On the positive side, they are fairly filling. We got 3 between 2 of us and did not realize that probably 1 was enough each of us (or least a girl). Also, pies in winter = ultimate comfort food, so no harm giving it a try.

Pie is located in the Seattle Center Armory. Talk about a food court - holy cow. There are so many choices. So what do you do when you're hungry after visiting the Space Needle and the Chihuly Garden and Glass? You go for DESSERT and a BEER! Yes, it's a treat to have dessert first and have a beer too while on vacation. Coconut Cream Pie and a local Ale from the area. YUM! yelp.com/biz_photos/pie-… ENJOY!!

POT PIES!! Aimlessly wandering Seattle's sites, I came upon Pie in the Seattle Center Armory. I was a little hungry, but didn't want to ruin my appetite for dinner. I decided to get couple of pot pies to share with my friends. There were so many choices to choose from between sweet and savory pies. The fat girl in me wanted to try them all! But with the time constrain I stuck to 2 different savory pies; the pot roast and the butternut squash. The beef in the pot roast was very tender and tasty, but my favorite out of the two was the butternut squash with the light taste of the spices. At first, eating with my eyes I thought the pies were a bit small, but they were a decent size. They also sale crafted brewed beers for those 21 and over. And of course there is also soft drinks available. If ever in the area, I do recommend checking them out!

Of all the new restaurants in the Armory, this is my favorite. Strawberry rhubarb pie? Yes please! Hands down the best i've ever had. Blueberry mango pie? Wow. So tender, and full of flavor! Mac and cheese pie? Sounded so amazing, I got one for my honey's lunch as a surprise with a strawberry rhubarb pie. Key lime pie? YUMMMMM!!!!! This is such a simple concept that Pie is executing with masterful elegance.

I love the idea of this place but was less than thrilled with the actual taste. Two friends and I split two sweet pies: coconut and berry. The coconut was definitely the winner between the two but there was so much crust that the filling barely even mattered. Although they were supposedly baked fresh that morning, they didn't taste overly fresh. If I'm ever back in Seattle, I'd probably try something else instead.

I've been going to Pie since they opened their Fremont location and have gone there more since they opened their Seattle Center Armory location. The best thing about the pies is the crust. It's really clear that it's hearty, flaky, and well done. My favorites are the sweet pies. My family enjoys the savory pies more. I have given Pie 3 stars because despite the quality of their product, they really could use work on their customer service. That goes for both of their locations, which surprises me for any business. That either has to do with their hiring practices, training, or vision of what they do. It's unfortunate because I really wanted to give them a higher rating but I go there quite often and it's a disappointment. It's not the worse service but I think their product demands better. UPDATE: After I wrote my review, the owner messaged me. I was grateful for the contact and the respectful way it was done. I'm impressed at owners that not only monitor Yelp, but make attempts to resolve situations. For this reason, I am changing my review to 4 stars.

Yummy strawberry rhubarb pie. PIE is part of the food court on the first floor of the Armory, a building right next to the Space Needle and the monorail. We were full after a big dinner a few feet away at Skillet Counter, so the mini-mini pie (a bite-sized version that costs $1.50) was the perfect little dessert for us. It is a bit pricey for something that's roughly the size of a golf ball, but it was tasty so we didn't mind too much.

Love following them on Facebook to see what their daily pie offerings are. So far I've only tried the Mac and Cheese with peas pie. Good, although the macaroni got a bit crunchy in parts. The mini cranberry key lime pie, however, was delicious. Can't wait to get back and try some others.

  • Lacey r.

We tried the Mac and cheese, creamy asparagus, and English meat pies. They were all very tasty and the crust was tender and flaky. Our only gripe was the Mac and cheese pie could have used more cheese. Next time we will definitely have to try one of the sweet pies.

Delightful. While it was difficult to find this place the first time around, we will be back. We entered through the Children's Theater side, and didn't realize that there was basically a cafeteria on the second floor. My husband and I shared a Shepherd's Pie and it was really nice. Petite, but it was very enjoyable all around. The guy that was manning the front was also very nice as well, and I also appreciated the adorable seating area. We'll be back - for a round of savories and sweets.

    I. Love. Pie. I walk past pie nearly every day on my way home from work. The smell of buttery, warm pie crust is so alluring. For a long time, I fought the urge to dine at Pie, waiting for a fun date night or work lunch. Groupon sped up the wait time, and a date night ensued! And those cute, tasty little pies with their buttery, warm pie crusts make us keep coming back for more! The prices are really reasonable and the variety is great. I never have a problem finding something I like. Although seating is limited, we've never had trouble getting a table outside. And if there aren't any chairs when you visit, take them to go! They pack them well for you and the pies freeze great for leftovers, too. It's a great spot for families, tourists, dates, dad/daughter dates, and more. You can't go wrong with Pie. My favorites are the mac and cheese pie and the peanut butter cream pie.

Went to Pie again this weekend Had the mac and cheese srirracha pie. This might have been great if I had got it when it was first out of the oven. It was lukewarm and dry - not the greatest...

I don't get it? If you like a ton of dough with your fillings you'd be in paradise, however that much dough takes away from the taste of the actual filling! A mouth of gobbly goo to me. If you like pie that much try a little place in Snohomish...

Need a quick snack before a Space Needle trip or IMAX movie at the Seattle Science Center? Stop by the Armory (next to the monorail station & space needle) and pick up a Pie! These aren't just any pies but delicious personalized pies. The best ones I've had so far are ginger peach and strawberry with a kick. Seriously this is the best thing that has ever happened to my movie nights at IMAX. If you're in need of a meal they also offer savory pies! Till next time Pie!

I was excited to try this place out--cute little pies everywhere from savory to sweet. We tried the Coconut Cream Pie and the Praline one...maybe it was because we got there an hour before they were closing and they were setting up for tomorrow, but we wanted our pies just a little warmed up so that it wasn't deathly cold in the middle. The girl tried to do it three times, literally, and each time it did get a little better...but still cold in the middle. We gave up after the 3rd time. Overall, the pies were good--I wish we had more of a selection and that our pies were actually warm, but it's a cute place to check out if you're in the Armory area.

The Good: Creative combos of pie, salad or soup, and a mini pie. The Bad: Bland, not warm, and not crisp. So sad. But really nice cafe person. Didn't finish it :(

The Seattle center has changed for the better. No longer do you walk in and find the entire place empty with dingy old gross eateries. Rather now you walk in and see a vibrant energy and fantastic places such as "Pie." Pie is exactly as it sounds, a restaurant that serves nothing but pie. They serve mini and baby pies. You can get savory or sweet (but lets be honest... who really gets a savory pie when you can get a spicy apple pie?( They were named restaurant of the year by GSBA last year. If you check them out, you'll quickly see why!

i love pie.. unfortunately for me... my wife loves cake.. so i'm relagated to going out to get my pie fix every now and then when my wife bakes cake instead of pie.. i know.. first world problems.. pie gets me satiated until my wife fires up the oven again.. their chicken pot pie and their pepper steak pie are pretty solid.. they also have day old pies for the price of pi ($3.14) too

Yum yum yum. With this and Skillet next door and Plum across the way, so many delicious options. Pie offers a changing selection of savory and sweet pies. *drool* The English Meat is fantastic. Tried the pork and apple, also yummy!! The Mac & Cheese has been amazing when I got pies to go and reheated at home. Pies are served room temperature here, but you could probably ask them to heat up your pie. The sweet pies are nice, too, but I think their savory are better. They offer Full Tilt ice creams and you can get a float, too. Lovely and fast way to grab dinner before a show at Seattle Rep or Opera house.

Pie is one of my all-time favorite things EVER! And it's about time there was a place dedicated to just pie. I'm not so much into savory pie, so I'm only referring to their sweet pie when I say it's absolutely DEEEELICIOUS. They change their menu every day, so one day I had apple-raspberry, another day I got plain old apple, also very good. I can already tell this is going to be a terrible habit, seeing as I work nearby. They're in the Armory at the Seattle Center, so it's perfect if you have lunch there and want a little dessert afterward. If you feel their personal sizes are too big, they even have MINI pies. They're a bit pricey for such small pies, but as good as they are, it's totally worth it. I would definitely recommend this place if you have major sweet tooth like myself.

That channa masala hand pie is one of the best things I've eaten in a while! Fast, friendly, and affordable. Tip for you guys avoiding gluten- they have options for you.

Pie 'n Ale.... a great pastime that's right up there with pretzels. So I just went with the recommended Curry Vegetable Pie. But if the mood for beer arises, you'll know where to find me. Anyways, that Curry Vegetable Pie was fantastic. I was truly surprised. It was like eating a huge gourmet samosa, however, more tasty. There were plenty vegetables in the mix like carrots, zucchini, potatoes and maybe much more.... There are many pie choices that includes chicken and beef. So there's something for everyone. And really, if you go without the beer, get 2 pies for lunch. It is completely worth it.

Everything in life needs to come in pie form it would be much easier than sandwiches . I have been here a couple times and I am torn whether I like Savory or sweet pies more. The triple pig with 3 types of pork and gravy is unreal and a broccoli cheddar was unreal. My favorite sweet pie is the Key lime. The crust on all is the perfect thickness without being messy or too hard. THIS PLACE IS A REASON TO COME TO SEATTLE CENTER!! The Armory is really turning it around with great local food selections and this is the star!

  • David C.

You can tell the quality of a pie by the character of its crust. A good pie shop makes its own dough fresh daily to ensure that each pie is perfect. One bite into these pies and all their attention to detail becomes crystal clear. These are seriously good pies. I had beef pie, a broccoli cheese pie and a mango blueberry pie a la mode. Each was perfect in its own way.

Who knew now you can grab reasonably priced delicious pies in the god-forsaken Seattle Center food court? You can get your meat/veggie/sweet pies all priced around $5 each. You can get a mini pie at a little over $1! They also serve Blue Bird Ice Cream if you are in a mood for a la mode! My boyfriend and I shared 1 curried veggie pie, 1 broccoli and cheddar pie, 1 mini key lime pie and 1 mini rhubarb pie. They were all fantastic! Pie was perfect for an easy and quick bite before heading out to the Egypt exhibit.

Such a cool idea. The pies were good, I liked the meat pie better than the sweet. The chocolate was way too runny, and wasn't very good. Super nice customer service though :)

Yum! I am so glad that Pie is in the Seattle Center Armory. It definitely adds to the restaurants here! They have a variety of pies, including savory pot pies and the sweet pies. There are also mini pies as well that you can eat in one bite. I have gotten the Aloo Palak, which was okay but not that flavorful. The chicken pot pie was pretty delicious, even if I did go at the end of the day and it was slightly dried out - can't wait to try it fresh. The inside is rather creamy and is packed with meat and peas, potatoes. The size is also pretty decent for a small meal (if you are like me who does not need to eat that much for a meal). The keylime pie is really good - the pie is creamy, although my boyfriend thought the pie was a tad too lime flavored. I also tried the strawberry rhubarb - it's so good! The bite size is absolutely perfect for a snack. I even got one for free since they had extras from the day before.

My first time in The Armory since it was The Centerhouse was highlighted by this wonderful experience. The peach pie I ate here was simply delicious. The crust was nice and crunchy and the cinnamon amount perfect. Perhaps the best part of the visit was the mini-mini size pie, which is great for an after lunch dessert. I am definitely coming back.

I find it impossible to not love Pie. I mean, c'mon, it's Pie! Pie! If you don't love pie we can't be friends. I've had quite a few thus far. The biggest winner has hands-down been the vanilla cream with caramel and raspberries. The explosion of the latter two flavors was unexpected, as it had much more of each than I'd anticipated. Wonderfully more. I've yet to have a bad pie, but my strongest recommendation is to try something you'd never try otherwise. Too many interesting flavors to stick with, say, plain apple. Go unique!

INCREDIBLE!! Went with two friends and we each ordered something different, and tried each others....wow! All three were so good!! Can not wait to go back and get more!! YUMMMM!!!

Far from savory. I've tried these guys twice. The first visit I had the English Beef pie that was more like vinegar stew. The use of Worcestershire tasted way on the side of vinegar then an enhancer. The second time I had the chicken pot pie which was very bland. I couldn't tell if it was chicken or tuna. I give them an "E" for effort but they won't see my business a third time.

  • Cat Y.

I like the option of the mini for the sweet pies but overall this place is just ok. I *think* the crust is the same for both savory and sweet pies but I much prefer the crust for savory. The sweet pie crusts seem more dense and the filling to crust ratio is almost 1:1 in my opinion. I am a girl that loves a buttery crust but that's just too much. If you want to just try it out, purchase a mini before committing to the normal size.

  • Chanda I.

The good and the bad thing about this place is that they change the pies on the daily. Gotta love the variety but bad for me because I LOVE LOVE LOVE their STRAWBERRY RHUBARB PIE. i may have had dreams about this wonderful pie. I never liked rhubarb until I moved to Seattle but I am now hooked. Just imagine a hot strawberry rhubarb pie with full tilt (local) ice cream. It's amazing! And this place is in the Seattle Center, so it's very unexpected to have such a gem of a place in a food court. But now when I have to go to an event at the Seattle Center, I have an excuse to stop by here.

  • Jason S.

Located in the Armory food court of the Seattle Center, this place sells an array of savory and sweet pies that come off as a cross between a cupcake and a chicken pot pie. The servers were amiable enough, and the selection was great. I got the mac and cheese pie - which was pretty underwhelming and room temperature, something mac and cheese should not be, at least not on the first bite. Suggestion: get a sweet pie or a stronger flavored savory pie, such as one with meat in it. The excess of bread and macaroni diluted everything. Since it was room temperature, the casing was hard also. Meh.

  • Rachel L.

I was underwhelmed by my peanut butter cream pie. It looked delicious and the filling was, but the crust was hard as a rock and thick for the portion size.

    (3)
  • Henry S.

This place rocks! Just like their Fremont store, the pies are always fresh from the oven and oh so good. Plenty of selections to choose from, sweets and savories. They also carry full tilt ice cream and some beer. It's a combination that's hard to beat, for sure. Seattle Center, you're doing it right!

A nice place in the Armory near the Seattle Space Needle. We stopped in here looking for a quick bite before heading back out of town, and it was delicious. I tried the Chicken Pot Pie, and my beau had the Pot Sticker for savory pies- both were great- and I particularly loved the crust (the heart shape on the top was a cute touch). We also tried the peanut butter pie which was way too sweet for me, but he loved it so I guess that depends on your taste. I thought it was a bit strange that there was no uniform or dress code for the place as far as employees go- but they were all pleasant for sure. Nice and not too expensive for good quick food.

In honor of Pi Day, I decided to review Pie. What a delicious little shop and great addition to the Armory! I have had both the sweet and savory pies, and I must say, I haven't had one that I don't like yet. The chicken pot pie was great - the chicken was tender and the vegetables were tasty. They even use the right amount of gravy. I have also tried one with egg, potatoes, mushrooms, and cheese - an omelette pie, so to speak. The key lime is also tasty with just the right balance between sweet and tart. I could use a little less crust around the edges, but other than that I am usually not disappointed. I think the prices are pretty reasonable, especially when you are just trying to grab a quick lunch. The staff at this location are also very friendly. Go try a pie from Pie. You will be very satisfied by 3.14159265 repeating ratio...and the taste too, I guess.

Five star review for being the best thing at the Seattle Center food court. It is oddly hard to find a small meal when just walking around. Here I was able to split a savory pie and a beer as an enjoyable repast. I like not being served a plate the size of my bulbous mongoloid head occasionally. Beer gulag rules apply as you must stay within the prescribed boundaries to consume your beverage of extreme danger to the general public, but as they also seem to have the best beer on site, I hope you will forgive them and their compliance with city law.

I stumbled upon this place on one weekend. And I am glad I did. As many people already mentioned in their review, they serve Sweet and Savory and Fruity Pies. It's nice to have many varieties of Savory pies too. You can have pies for Appetizer, Entree and Desert if you like. I have been there a few times and I always have a hard time to decide on what to eat. Everything looks and sounds good. They did taste good. I guess I have to keep going back so that I can try different things. I have tried their Curried Veggie, Mushroom Swiss Egg Scramble and Peach so far. They were all wonderful. Not too salty or overly sugar soaked. For the first time, I didn't have to wash my mouth down with a cup of coffee or water after I had a fruit pie. The pie crust wasn't nice and soft yet crispy. If you like softer homemade pie crust, you will like their pie crust. If you like really crunchy rustic pie crust, this may not be your fav. Some people might think the portion is small and price is bit high, but I am happy with both portion and price. Well I'm simply happy because they offer so many selections on savory pies! Unlike their main store in Fremont, this store seems like they have smaller selections on what they serve. One time I went there to have a curried veggie, they didn't have it. I was explained that they bake pies everyday with fresh ingredients only. So if they run out of the ingredients, they won't make the same thing. Make sure to check their FB or twitter before you go if you have a hard set on a particular flavor.

Loved the savory pie, but wasn't crazy about the orange cream sweet pie.

Oh my god bananas foster pie...do I really need to say more? Yes, I do. It was probably in my top 10 of desserts. I love bananas foster...the real deal light it on fire stuff and I normally think any bananas foster dish that is not the exact thing is a poor imitation or a poor riff on it. Not so with this, great crust and nice thick pudding with great bananas foster flavor.

A great concept! I had already eaten lunch, but I couldn't resist, so go a mini blueberry and mini key lime pies. Both were excellent, and crust was pretty good too. I do wish they had a broader range of mini pies, and also more sweet pie selection. But that's not a complaint as much as just observation.

Best pie on the planet and great service too. I'm a pie fiend and try each new Seattle spot as it opens, but none can top Pie. The selection is always nicely varied and the special creme pie flavors are wonderfully inventive - be sure to try Chai creme when you get the opportunity. With the friendly service, this is the go to spot for Pie bar none.

Gluten free selections that are limited but amazing. Flakey and light with a slight crisp when you dig into each bite. Tart and tangy with just the right sugar on the top crispy crumble. Now I want the savory selection.

I was excited to try this place because I thought the concept was pretty cool. The peppered steak pie and mac&cheese pie were actually satisfying. The english meat pie.. not so much.

I came here randomly when I was waiting for a special event. My cousin told me about a place with meat pies. I went immediately. I tried a few samples of the pies thanks to my cousin's orders and friendly servers. Mac and cheese pie! All good. I loved that I could sit and throw various toppings on my already tasty meat pie in a friendly environment with happy, fun, people. I heartily advised wary would-be customers to enjoy Pie. They did. They enjoyed. I would eat here once a week if I could. At least. Seriously go have a pie. Immediately.

I don't understand the hype. I've tried multiple pies here and multiple flavors and I found them all to be unsatisfying. It's nice to have a place that makes hand made pies and a that makes a veriety of flavors. But they need to take another look at their recipes. I had one yesterday, hoping that it would be better than the last one I had, but it wasn't. I had the chicken one (not the chicken pot pie). It was very very salty. I let my fiancee try it as well and she thought it was overly salted as well. I didn't tell her what I thought of it when she tried it, so the fact that we both came up with the same conclusion without knowing each other's thoughts confirms my tastebuds are still working correctly. I've tried other ones as well, like the chicken pot pie. The chicken pot pie was a no-go for me. I was not impressed. I keep trying, but I keep getting disappointed. I will probably go back again and try one more, but if it's disappointing, then I will not be trying anymore. P.S The two pies that I have mentioned are not the only pies that I have tried.

Best Meal money can buy from the Space Needle Food Court. The name says it all. One can enjoy desert pies or main meal pies. Full arsenal array of powerful and mouth watering PIES. I had a Chick Pot Pie which was delicious. These Personal sized Pie are awesome and good for getting food on the run. For about 6 bucks one can par take in a delicious treat. Got to be honest, This is best food you can buy at the Space Needle Food Court. All the other places don't really stack up, so don't take a chance on the other places. EAT A PIE.

Pie is a counter service restaurant, so don't expect fine dining. However, I enjoyed the samples of mini pies they offered and ended up going with the chicken tarragon, along with a hard cider. The pie was good, with a wonderfully flaky crust. It was a great inexpensive and quick meal.

Needed a convenient place to eat before a concert at Key Arena and didn't have a lot of time before the show. I'd eaten at the Fremont location and so recommended to my companions that we give the new location a try. We had sweet potato, chicken, Indian, the English beef (can't recall the exact name), and dessert pies. All were good or very good and everyone was satisfied. Prices are reasonable and the service was okay - better at the Fremont location but still not bad.

Did someone say PIE? I don't know what it is for sure about pie that attracts me. But I think it's the way it reminds me of my grandmother and home cooked meals. Maybe even a little nostalgia of Thanksgivings and Christmas celebrations as a child. Whatever the reason, I do love pie! This place is located in the Armory building right under the Seattle Space needle, between the EMP Museum and the Pacific Science Center. During our visit, there was a Tibetan celebration event going on. There was live music, art, dancing. It was loud and lively. I loved it! That really added to the ambiance of the location. Pie is just a little food court type place with pies already made, having been baked that day, and ready to go. All the pies, both savory and sweet, were personal size. Each will run you about $5.50 a piece. The couple running the place were very kind and quick. We ordered the English Meat Pie, hubby got the Peppered Steak Pie, kids got the Mac and Cheese Pie and some sausage pie. The English Meat Pie was perfect! The Peppered Steak was delicious and thick. The Mac and Cheese pie was bland...and a weird consistency. I wouldn't order that one again. The dessert pies looked good, but we did not try any. I checked out the website for this place and it shows dozens and dozens of pie flavors they serve, but they change the limited flavors they offer daily, so you never know what will be available. Honestly, I would love to have been able to try more of their pies. Too bad we don't live closer :-(

I was at Seattle Center doing some touring and needed a snack to keep going. Being from the Midwest my pie standards are pretty high. I got a broccoli-cheddar pie, and it was fine. Not amazing, nothing I, my mother, or grandmother couldn't make at home, but it tasted good, was pretty cheap, and kept me going for a few more hours.

Growing up in England and coming from British parents, its safe to say the English Pie is the bomb! The savory inside was delicious and the flakey pastry was perfect. I bought my wife the Mac and Cheese Pie. She has not eaten it yet so if it is not good I will follow up.

Came in and ordered the chicken pot pie. The place reminded me a little of the Square Pie company in London, so I was eager to try it. At home they serve them with mash and gravy, but here you just get a pie on it's own. Turns out it would benefit from a little gravy or some accompaniment as the pie was serviceable but not great. However, we ordered an apple and blueberry pie for dessert and that's where the magic happened. Beautifully cooked fruit with a nice combo of flavours and a cinnamon crumble topping.

They was out of the normal sized pie offered 2 small bite pies for the price of one large normal... Just average is all Update I was contacted by the owner and they were very conserved of how my friends and I were mis-pied next time I'm in Seattle pies on them and they seemed truly concerned about it all and said they would fix the issue... For that alone I'm giving them another star. Way to go small business owners

I'm having a really hard time choosing between a 3 and a 4 - as I admit this may have been an anomalous visit and I also noticed the owners read these reviews, I'll give the benefit of the doubt and hope this feedback is heard. First off, I was thrilled at Pie joining the Seatte Center shops - and these pies lived up to what I remember from the Fremont location. I ordered a chicken pot pie, key lime pie, and a PB&J pie. Pricing-wise, I'm having a hard time understanding why people think $5.95 for a deep, ample-sized and filling pie is somehow expensive. Honestly they are a steal for the price (sweet ones are $4.50 and can easily serve as a solid dessert for two people sharing). You can also choose to get smaller versions of the sweet pies for $1.50ish, a great price if you're looking for a tinier bite. As far as 'freshness' - the savory pies are held in a heat tray which admittedly has the ability to dry things out - I do think it would be more awesome if they were refrigerated, then heated in a small convection oven or something to order. Would only take a few minutes and would avoid that issue. I didn't think mine were overly dry, though. The KEY LIME PIE was exceptional - exactly as it should taste. The fact that the pie's deep dish means extra delicious filling, and the flaky crust is perfect. The PB&J PIE is also a must-eat - how can you go wrong with creamy peanut butter and sweet jam? (in this case, raspberry) My rating issue lies with the CHICKEN POT PIE. Flavor-wise, it's excellent - just the right amount of creamyness, fresh vegetables, and the trademark flaky crust. However, more care needs to go into preparing the chicken. It's dark meat, which admittedly has a higher chance of being fatty. But what I didn't expect is two things in the pie: 1. Several pieces that were gristly/fatty in an inedible way - should have been trimmed prior to constructing the pies 2. The biggest problem, a 1/4 SQUARE INCH CHUNK OF BONE. Thankfully when I bit down onto it I didn't break a tooth, I was shocked at how big the chunk was when I pulled it out, and it was concerning enough (safety-wise and gross-wise) that I likely will not purchase any meat-related item from Pie again. I'll likely return for the sweet pies - I really hope the owners take the meat feedback into consideration and are more careful with it in the future. Hopefully my pie was an anomaly.

Hungry for dinner and wanting to try something new, I decided to trust the Yelp reviews and trek through Seattle Center to the Armory, a.k.a. food court. Glad I did, because these pies are worth the walk! I'm not a big meat eater, but it was almost closing time and most of the other pies were sold out, so I asked the girl at the counter to recommend a savory pie. She recommended the English Meat Pie, which was unlike anything else I've ever eaten (in a good way). For $5.45, you get a warm, flaky pie filled with ample ground beef, mushrooms, and a few chopped onions. It may look small, but it definitely filled me up. With so much meat, I felt like I got my money's worth. There was a small bit of grease from the beef, but it wasn't enough to keep me from ordering it again. I was satisfied after the savory pie, but I ate my Berry Awesome Pie anyway. Filled with berries and topped with cinnamon sugar, it was delicious, not too sweet, and the perfect size for one or for two people to split. Next time, I'd go with a friend and order three pies to split between us - that way we could try more options and not be totally stuffed. Their pie selection varies by day, and they post each day's menu on their Facebook and Twitter. Service was friendly and helpful, and I'm looking forward to visiting the main location in Fremont.

Great addition to the Seattle Center! We tried both sweet and savory pies and both were amazing. Loved the pork pie and that is saying a lot because I am not usually a pork fan! The coconut cream pie was one of the best I've ever had, and my husband had the berry, but we weren't as impressed with that one. Only thing I didn't love about this place was the price. I thought the pies were a little spendy, since it is basically take-out, but overall this place is worth a visit!

Went on a mission to find this place today on my last day here in Seattle... and OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG the Key Lime Pie is sooo good that I will stop and get one before i leave for the airport tomorrow just so my boyfriend can have some too. DEEEEEEEEEEEEEE_LISH-US!!

This is the perfect solution to "I'm not sure what I feel like for lunch today." It's unique and the pies are good. I've had the veggie and the broccoli cheddar so far and both were great. The crust is the best part. Also, they have hard pear cider, which is really good if you like sweet drinks. The only caveat: if you're really hungry, one pie isn't enough.

OMG I am in LOVE with the strawberry rhubarb pie! My first bite literally made me say "Oh that's yummy!" Located in the Armory around Seattle Center. I will definitely be going back to try other favors & to snag a few more Strawberry Rhubarbs!

pie @ Pie! It's as simple as that. Anyone who proclaims to be an avid fan of eating pie, this is your joint. Come on and get it! Rather than following along the line of tradition, my friends treated me out to pie for my birthday. Greatest decision ever. And it just so happened the day we visited Pie for the first time, Pie was serving banana cream pie, my absolute fave! Pie has a wide selection of both savory and sweet pies, which ultimately are switched up almost everyday. It's an affordable baked goods shop that serves to individuals of all ages. The ambiance is very much casual and would work perfectly for a simple date out with your honey bunch or with a group of your friends. I have yet to try their savory pies, but I guess that'll be saved for another day.

Updating my review for epic customer service and a great second try! After seeing that I had a 'meh' first experience, Jess reached out to me to discuss what happened and suggest giving Pie another shot. I went to the Fremont location with my fiancé today and tried the Berry Awesome pie (my fiancé went for Apple - his favorite). I think between warming the pies and getting to them sooner in the day, they stayed in much better condition. The crust (my main previous concern) was flaky and not overly dry, and the fillings had great texture. I really liked my Berry Awesome pie, though my fiancé wasn't the biggest fan of the apple filling in his (overly-cinnamon'ed). Overall, a great shop with a wide variety of pies - I recommend asking for suggestions from the helpful and friendly staff :).

I love Pie. Pie, pi, and pie. ALL OF IT. Well, mostly the savory versions, and pumpkin. I don't like baked fruit. I love the Fremont location, so when I was meeting up with some friends who were in town, I knew I had to come in here. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed. The prices were higher, and the pies weren't as fresh. They were still good, because it's Pie, but I prefer the Fremont location.

We have been a fan of Pie in Fremont for years, before they even opened this second store. I won't say it is the whole reason why we moved up to Seattle last year, but knowing a dependably good restaurant does count as a positive. We have been to this location several times, most recently on St. Patty's Day. The Good: The food is imaginative, made from good quality ingredients, and a good value (the pies may look small, but they are filling!) The staff has always been polite at a minimum, and most times is downright friendly. The Bad: I have only had one less-than-steller pie, the corned beef and cabbage on my last visit, in which the cabbage was in large chunks and not fully cooked; it was still very tasty...even when they mess up, it still tastes good! The only criticism I can offer is that the menu sometimes doesn't reflect what they have available; at the other location, they can erase pies from the board as they sell out, but not at this location. It's a minor thing, but it's just a bit off-putting to go through the list of pies being told they are sold out before you find one that is in stock (the visit before last felt like I was in the "cheese shop" skit by Monty Python). The Ugly: Nothing. There is room for improvement at this location, which is the only reason I didn't give it the 5-stars I gave to the main location in Fremont. However, this is a very convenient place to eat if you are going to the Space Needle, to visit the local museums, or going to Key Arena (Go Rat City Rollergirls!), and I strongly recommend that you give a try and expand your perspective on what Pie can be.

Meat pie: amazing! Marionberry pie: also amazing! I can't imagine how you could go wrong here, they make everything with real butter and make sure you know it. Charlie was working when I went there, he was more than happy to explain what everything was (including a brief history of the marionberry), and offered some great suggestions for things to do in the city.

Of all the new restaurants in the center house, I think this is my favorite. They have a great variety of savory pies at reasonable prices. The portions are also perfect. A savory pie and a desert mini-pie makes for a great, light meal (well, as light as one can get when eating the equivalent of a shepherd's pie).

Okay, this place rocks! I had the Mediterranean and and Strawberry Rhubarb pie. Both were equally delicious. Service was super fast. I stood in line for nearly 5 minutes. Not long at all. Both sweet and savory pies are NOM NOM NOM. Strongly recommended if you're in the Armory.

I was going to a concert at the Vera Project and had taken the bus and the monorail over during the day and had some time to kill. I came here for lunch, it was around one and the newly built Armory was pretty busy, there was a long line and it moved pretty slowly, but I really wanted to try the place so I waited. I got the Mac and Cheese with Peas, a mini mini Key Lime, and a Peanut Butter Cream. The Mac and Cheese with Peas was wonderful. The mac and cheese was perfectly made, and it was nice and warm with a crumbly topping and good crust. I didn't really like the Key Lime, I enjoyed the Peanut Butter Cream pies filling, but since these were both cold pies, the crust was as hard as a rock. If you want a dessert pie your best bet is to get a warm fruit pie like Marionberry or Strawberry Rhubard because the crust is nice and soft. The PB cream was over $5 plus tax, not worth it if the crust is too hard to eat, don't think I will order any cold pies from here again, I will just stick to the Mac and Cheese pie, which was delicious.

Thank you Pie for being part of the brightening up of the food desert that was the old Seattle Center food court. The Chicken Pot Pie and the Mediterranean Pie are both delicious. I'll have to come back to sample a sweet pie, but your savory pies are NOM NOM NOM. Had to dock a star for the prices, which are a wee bit on the outrageous side, but you do give good pie, so I'll be back.
