Coming here on a Saturday evening I was pleasantly surprised that it was not very busy. Then I soon found out why that was the case: the cocktails here (of which I tried several) are not well made or balanced, they taste like they were made by an amateur home bar tenter failing at showing off to his friends. Most rely on, and are saved by, the glory that is Rachel's ginger beer. I find it fundamentally unacceptable that even though they are owned by the same people as RGB that they would not use more of the RGB flavours in their cocktails. Not to mention, their beer selection is also fairly limited. All this being said, I had a great time here and this is why: the service was a great, the ambience was chill, the booths were comfortable and the nachos were delicious! This is a below average place that I would highly recommend to an above average number of people. Some quick tips: 1. If you must choose the cocktails, go with the frozen ones. They are a little bit too sweet but are way better than the well cocktails. 2. Sitting in one of their booths goes a long way. Their booths are quieter and more secluded, not to mention very comfortable and can isolate you from the rest of the grimy bar. 3. Bartenders are friendly and highly approachable. 4. I'm pretty sure their nachos are made using Doritos. 5. They use Doritos in their nachos . 6. Doritos Nachos.

Having never been here I didn't know what to expect. The taco are excellent tonight and a good atmosphere. Nice open front to Broadway with a guy spinning some tunes. Very Broadway appropriate. The mescal old fashion is a pleasant surprise too.

Echoing what most yelpers have said on here. The drinks are tasty and strong but this place is overpriced and not worth it. The Avocado Margarita lacks avocado, but is super heavy on the lime. This would be fine if I didn't order an Avocado Margarita. Their El Diablo and Pink Guava were delicious and the only reason I would return other than the crazy convenient location. Atmosphere leaves much to be desired. It has the interior decoration of a chain Mexican restaurant. There is nothing here that would make this place really special which is a bummer because I could not wait to try this place. But coming here twice now I realize the first time was not a one off. They did add a happy hour though! Its 3-6 and only discounts the food but portions of nachos are huge, plenty for 2-3 of your peeps. Service is fine. Food is okay.

BF and I ordered takeout here. We got an order of tatchos and an order of wings. The food was ready very fast -- 10 minutes after we called. Unfortunately, they did not have any plastic utensils to give us because they had no idea where they were stored. Really? I opened the box of tatchos (nachos with tater tots instead of chips) and I thought, "great, this is going to be a soggy mess." I am so glad I was wrong. The tots were crispy, regardless of the fact that it was all piled on top of each other with cheese. But I guess that's the thing, there was very little cheese. The toppings in general were meager. It really wasn't worth the money. The wings were covered in a soy-based sauce and were slightly overcooked and dry. The only thing keeping me from saying I will never come back here is the fact that I *need* to try the pink guava moscow mule. I LOVE Rachel's ginger beer!

One of my favorite neighborhood spots hands down. Everyone who works here is awesome and very attentive even when extremley busy. It's nice to have a place with a small menu that you can still get good food out of. Frozen Moscow mules are also another perk to this place. Try one if you ever come here, you won't be disappointed!

My favorite thing in life are nachos and a restaurant who has Nacho in its name makes my heart sing. The nachos are absolutely delicious and I cannot get over how amazing it is to have a watering hole near home that serves the best nachos ever. This is not a bar that is serving nachos as an after thought but a nacho restaurant that also happens to serve stellar drinks. The rotating margaritas are always delicious and STRONG. If you are adventurous and ready for a new rendition of nachos, try the totchos. Flipping amazing and makes you wonder why you have never thought to do it yourself first. Basically, the amazing nachos but you replace the chips with tater tots. Even the err... "healthier" option of taco salad is delicious. I like ground beef in my taco salad and the taco bowl is perfection. Nacho Borracho is just divey enough for you to show up on a Sunday afternoon with your nacho eating-elastic waistband sweats. No judgement here.

Great new space on Broadway for all your cheese cravings brought to you by the genius behind Rachel's Ginger Beer (and Montana). Having been dragged here several times already within their recent opening date, I have to say Nacho Borracho has an awesome thing going for it. Ginger Beer focused drinks -- from the fabulously creamy, salty, frozen avocado margarita, to the El Diablo (tequila, cassis, rgb) on tap, to the seasonal frozen moscow mule of the day/week, to an ok (but heavily Mexican populated) beer selection. Wow. Good drinks. I loved the guava moscow mule, and pours were heavy on all these drinks. 2 cocktails in and you will leave more than mildly buzzed. Even with a heaping plate of nachos in your belly. So the Nacho's? Well -- take made to order fresh chips, top it with the house made queso (oh so cheesy and sloppy), a healthy dose of beans or seasoned beef, plus all the fixins! (Jalepenos, green onions, olives, tomatoes, and my personal favorite -- habanero pickled carrots)! The plate is massive -- and should be for the $12 price tag. Be prepared to share or not eat anything else for a good 24 hours. The flautas are also worth noting -- nothing frozen here! Made fresh, hand rolled and super tasty hidden in a lettuce leaf with copious amounts of salsa on top. The guacamole is good, the sonoran dogs massive and overflowing with all the aforementioned nacho fixings, and the tater tots crisp and fresh. Service is friendly and efficient, although only being able to order at the bar can lead to some wait times and lines. The space is large, though already seemingly overflowing with excited clientele, and don't get too scared when trying to find the bathrooms. Yes, it's a long dark walk waaaaaaaaaaay into the back, but once you find them they are clean and more than sufficient. No happy hour deals ~yet~ -- though Rachel and Kate are planning on implementing one soon once the opening kinks get worked out and they have a good understanding of the ebb and flow of their lovely new establishment. Here's to Rachel, her ginger beer, and her awesome nacho bar! I want to come back, and often.

Came here last night for the grand opening and was definitely impressed. So nice to see a bar going into the space on Broadway. Hopefully Rachel and Kate are able to change this stretch of the neighborhood as much as they did with Montana. As it's still brand new, there are still some kinks to work out. Right now, the bar isn't quite a "Capitol Hill" bar yet...walls are a bit sterile, and while the booths and bar counter look great, it still needs a bit more decorating. Still, great atmosphere...good music, good service, nice seating options, etc. While the menu is a great assortment of food, I would have loved to see descriptions listed. I ended up ordering the bean nachos (after all, the place does have the word in its name). Were they the best nachos I have ever had? No, but the size and amount of toppings were great for bar food. I'm not sure if they were totally worth twelve dollars, but I'll order them again and give it another go. Would love to see them have a bit more flavor to them...maybe with some jalapeños or more seasoning to the beans? Wait time was long but totally understandable...definitely cutting them slack seeing as how it was packed and it was the first night, and I didn't mind waiting since it gave me a chance to try the delicious beverage offerings. The best part of Nacho is definitely the drinks. I had a chance to try all of the blended options and one of the non-blended on tap. All were awesome. El Diablo (non-blended, with tequila, cassis, ginger beer, and lime) had a great kick to it but was also sweet enough to maintain a balance. Between the blended options, my favorite was definitely the rotating flavor Moscow Mule. Pretty sure it was guava...so good! If you prefer a tequila drink, though, the avocado margarita is definitely worth trying. I was a bit skeptical, but the avocado added a really nice creaminess to it. Considering the place just opened, it's off to an impressive start. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because there's still some room for improvement. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back and seeing this place get even better!

So after going here twice--once on opening day and once recently--I can not seem to get nachos that are actually hot or even warm. Plus the cheese sauce is used very sparingly, which doesn't help matters. If you are craving nachos, go elsewhere. However, if you are into a fun place with delicious strong beverages, then this is the place to go.

This is another one of my go to spots if a nice out on Capitol Hill ends before 2am. Nachos are large and hit the spot late at night. Sometimes ordering at the bar can take a while but it is definitely worth it.

As a lover of Montana, Rachel's ginger beer, and Mexican food I was SO excited to hear of this place opening. We went on a Saturday afternoon (tried the night before but couldn't find a table!) and it was packed within 15 min of opening. The staff is really nice and knowledgable. For food we had the flautas and nachos (I'll have to be back for the tatchos), which were both delish! The nachos were huge, piled high with all the topings and real cheese- the way it should be! The waitress advised that we wrap the flautas in the lettuce and dip them in salsa, yummm! The drinks we has were also great. We had the El Diablo, frozen Moscow Mule and the margarita. So refreshing. We'll definitely be back for more!

What the hell? Nacho Borracho had some of my favorite nachos on the hill. Keyword: Had. (Full disclosure: I've never had anything else on the menu. Maybe the other new items are superior to the old ones.) Anyway, they changed the menu. The new nachos are disgusting. The cheese is weirdly sweet, they're topped with large pieces of pork, and I'm not even sure if they still "politely decline substitutions." The watery toppings left a half inch of overly sweet liquid in the bottom of the basket with some of the remaining chips wilting in the slop. (RIP) Also, those appeared to be the only nacho option on the menu. WTF? Nacho is in the name... I had been coming to happy hour quite frequently but not anymore. Guess what? No more happy hour food items. On the plus side, the moscow mule slushy is still amazing. Editing to say the bartender is a real asshole too.

¡Ay, caramba! Can't believe I haven't reviewed NB before! This is one of my fav spots on the Hill, and they've beaten the curse of this location (which is primely situated but couldn't seem to generate a half decent restaurant). Rachel is a genius and her ginger beer cocktails are to die for!! They combine the best things about childhood and adulthood - delicious slushies and booze! With craft-quality ingredients. My only request: please put a quesadilla on this menu. Would it kill ya? I'd stay twice as long! The nachos are dank tho.

I did not think it was possible for every jerk in Seattle to be employed at one establishment, yet here we are. Came here for drinks on a weekday with a friend, pretty slow night, but we barely got either of the bartenders attention since they seemed to be having an all-consuming discussion with literally the only other people in the place. The drinks were okay, might have enjoyed them more if we hadn't been made to feel like such a bother. I've had better, faster service at Unicorn on a Saturday night. To top it all off, I was charged twice for my drink (which I've heard happens a lot here) and when I brought it to our servers attention you would've thought I'd asked him for his first born. Not even a half hearted 'sorry'. Spare me the 'tude bro, I wouldn't pay $18 for your hipster margarita if Robin Pecknold served it to me! Bottom line, if you hate yourself and want to feel like a total inconvenience then come on over to Nacho fucking Borracho. Don't be a lazy-ass, walk the extra two blocks to La Cocina for a pleasant, authentic experience that wont leave you questioning your right to take up space on this earth.

Nacho Borracho seems to be part of the new Capitol Hill trend of establishments not caring about service, if they have wait staff at all, as well as only catering to drunks. My partner and I stopped in yesterday for a late lunch (2PM) and wanted coffee to drink. Neither one of us cares for alcohol, but we still enjoy a good bar scene. Well, no big deal that this place didn't have coffee brewed, but they didn't even have any! C'mon, guys, coffee's cheap. Guess you don't worry about the responsible people:-(

  • Allie S.

I really, really want nachos right now. There are no other nachos near me that are as good as Nacho Borracho nachos. Because no other nachos will suffice, I am going on a nacho strike until my next visit to NB. They're worth it. Other nachos will never compare. They've ruined me. Chips that stand up to toppings, rather than becoming grossly soaked through and necessitating the use of a fork. A nacho sauce that's not so thick it elicits thoughts of canned cheese from my high school, but rather is oh-so-cheesy and of a delightfully velvet texture. That, and their Pink Guava Moscow Mule is paradise.

My husband and I tried this place for lunch on Saturday before a show downtown. We shared the homemade queso with poblano (yum - though - could use a tad more salt). I had the molasses chicken wings which were excellent and came with celery and blue cheese dressing. He had the bacon wrapped hot dog (pictured) and it was insane. He had a beer and I had what was a very strong and good house margarita. Overall, more of a bar than a restaurant we felt, but, a good addition to Broadway for sure.

Walked in a few nights ago wasn't greeted . Found my way around ordered a torta which was flavorless and didn't quite understand it had cabbage . This is not authentic Mexican food . The decor and music don't go together . Was really rooting for this place but was definitely disappointed

    (1)
  • Crissy G.

Love, love the drinks-they're so good! Good service and the menu for Neon Taco is killer. I've tried almost everything on the menu and the lengua taco and the spicy pork torta are the best things on the menu!!! I have always had excellent everything here, this is a gem on the hill.

If more accidents involved accidentally running into friends at Nacho Borracho and joining them for vegan tacos, and blood orange Moscow mule slushies, the world would be a happier place.

I got flautas and they were pretty good. I also got tacos de suadero and carnitas and the suadero ones were so so good!

  • Marisa B.

Went back and had a very disappointing experience. First off avoid the avocado margaritas. There was way too much avocado and not much else in the drink to balance that out. Also for some reason they tasted soapy. I am a HUGE avocado and cilantro consumer so I know for sure I am not afflicted with taste buds that confuse these flavors. We also ordered the meat free nacho option, but they mistakenly brought the beef nachos. This would have been no big deal except when we sent them back they brought our new nachos out with NO CHEESE. How do you forget the cheese? They seemed so put out when we sent them back the first time we didn't want to eat spit nachos, so we just ate them sans cheese and left.

  • Corinna K.

Big ups to Rachel & Kate for conceiving the Guava Mule slushie because that drink was amazing. Seriously. I hope it stays on permanent rotation. The poblano queso was likewise delicious - gooey, cheesy goodness with an extremely generous basket of perfectly fried chips. From a food and drink perspective, I see no flaws. The layout is perhaps a bit challenging; the space is long and narrow, meaning that the order-at-the-bar mandate clogs up the whole central passageway and prevents easy ingress or egress. Service was quick, if perfunctory - the joint doesn't exhibit the same friendliness as Montana. For me, this is not a place to hang out, especially as on a Friday night it seemed to reflect more of a Belltown clientele & vibe than I'm comfortable with. (Yes, we did see the lovely Ben DeLaCreme grabbing a drink, but apart from his group the atmosphere was...Not My Scene.) This is more of a place to grab a drink and some deeply unhealthy snaxxx before scooting on to other venues for my drunk fix. More Nacho than Borracho, definitely.

  • Greg G.

Nacho Borracho, from the brilliant dreadlocked mind of ginger beer baroness Rachel Marshall, is now open for business on Broadway. Get your tatcho and frozen avocado margarita fix here, amigos. This joint is seriously bueno!

  • Paul D.

This place screams, " Let's go get a gordita and portable nachos", at least the salsa is free and the service is faster at Taco Bell!!!! Oh yeah, and for a place that serves tater tots in 90% of their menu items, you betta have som Heinz lying around...jus sayin...

  • Manuel W.

We went here about 4 weeks after it opened. The beef nachos didn't impress me. I think they are about as good as you can get in any bar. The avocado margarita comes out of a slurpee machine. It was extremely sour and I could barely taste any avocado. The service situation is unconventional which is a trend I'm noticing more and more in Seattle. Order all food and drinks from the bartender. Grab waters and utensils. (Pro tip: Utensils are hiding behind the water tureen.) I wouldn't turn down this place after a long night of drinking, but I wouldn't go back for dinner as long as there are so many better nacho options within a few blocks.

    (2)
  • Grant G.

Honestly the most excited I've been to try a new place in quite some time. It's a bar, but we did it for dinner. Had the bean nachos and beef flautas. Nachos were huge -- that was the only food we needed. Drinks were AMAZING! Drinks in slushie machines. Intriguing Avacado margarita that was very strong and had a little too much lime for my taste. The other slushie drinks were GREAT. Already love this place and can't wait to go back.

Stopped in on what I believe may have been opening night; had no trouble getting a table. New space is very simple and plain, very cramped, and very dark. Fortunately, it is also, for now, very clean. No table service is available. You stalk out a table and someone waits in line at the bar to order both drinks and food. You are given a number and things are brought out from the kitchen. Tried the orange/passion frozen drink and the cassis/ginger iced drink. Both were very tasty and not too overwhelmingly tequila-forward. Not sure how strong they were, since we only had time for one of each. Beer selection was so disappointingly uninspired, none were worth touching. Went with the chips and salsa and the beef nachos. I figure, hey, if a place is named for nachos, they had better be good! Turns out, they were very good. Fresh chips, liquid cheese, decent-quality pickled jalapeños, canned black olives, a few tomato bits, and very lightly-seasoned and tender ground beef. I originally balked at the $12 price, but it was quite a heaping plate. I wish there has been juuust a tiny bit more beef, but otherwise things were lovely. The salsa and chips turned out to be salsa verde rather than a tomato-based one, and was very spicy. Tasty as can be, though. Service was an issue. You have to wait in line to order. You have to wait in line to close out your bill. Both took a while, so you have to be okay with standing around for a while. Bathrooms were unisex and pretty clean (bear in mind, this was Day 1). Overall, very good! I can forsee many a drunken, fat night here, especially if someone else were picking up the tab. This could be a five-star joint if they can procure some good brews, get stand-around-and-wait time down to seconds rather than minutes, and maybe knock prices down by just a bit.

This place has the best nachos I've ever had. Typically nachos are good for about, oh, five minutes, then the cheese hardens up and turns greasy. Here, the last bite is as good as the first bite and the first bite is incredible. I don't know how they do it but we grazed on the nachos for about a half hour and they were great from beginning to end. They also have amazing frozen Moscow Mules (try the blood orange) from locally produced Rachel's Ginger Beer. I will definitely stop here whenever I can.

Yummy tater tots and wings! Interesting idea for the avocado margarita, but it ended up being way too strong for me and only a tiny hint of avo. Other than that, great service, fun atmosphere!

Quantity of nachos were substantial but too salty! I had a hard time finishing it due to the high amount of salt content. Otherwise, the Moscow Mule was decent, had quite a bite to it. Fun place to hang out, wish the quality of food was better.

After an unsuccessful attempt to visit Nacho on Saturday (their website said they open at noon, but they didn't open till 3pm), we came back Sunday night for dinner. I can see how this will fit well into the niche of late night drunk food / drinks. (but will that keep a business profitable 12 hours a day, 7 days a week? I hope so...) The nachos were good, but not as good as hoped. The chips are fresh + better than store bought bagged chips, but the whole plate was cold for the most part - the chips are served cold, and the queso was only lukewarm. Nachos would be much better if they heated the chips, especially if they baked the whole dish. I think there were only 3 jalapeno slices on the whole platter - and the queso and beef had no spicing. They had some good bottled hot sauces, but more jalapenos would round out the nachos much better. They could've used more cilantro too - the whole affair was underseasoned, except for salt - the chips were so salty it was almost overwhelming. The drinks are good, especially the Rachel's ginger beer mixed into some of the corny keg served tap cocktails. But the margarita was weak - not much liquor for a $7 premixed drink. It's worth the trip once - but probably won't be back.

I was very excited about this place. I love Rachel's ginger beer, Montana's AND nachos so when I heard this place was opening, I thought it was a dream come true! I went in on a Friday with a group of 4, at around 7:30. It took over an hour to get a table, and in the mean time we just stood awkwardly in the middle of the walkway. Drinks were great! I tried the rotating Moscow mule, the avocado margarita and the other frozen passion fruit tequila drink. Drinks were excellent and sugary and delicious. Once we finally got a table we tried the nachos and none of us were impressed. Runny, tasteless 'queso', not very many toppings... Just extremely disappointing.. Especially for a 12 dollar plate of nachos. I'm hoping that Nacho is still working out kinks and perhaps I'll try again in a few months. But in the meantime, I think I'll be sticking to Montana.

Awesome drinks. I'm a big ginger beer fan so this was a huuuge plus to see it in some drinks! The food was good - nachos were crazy huge! Service was okay- not a ton of seating, would probably be better suited for later at night when you're a bit more drunk and don't care so much about having a conversation with someone. I recommend the slushie drinks! Strong and tasty, as any good drink should be :)

Stopped in tonight and had AMAZING service given they'd only been open for 2 days. Jalapeno-heavy totchos (tater top nachos) were great: spicy, cheesy and the perfect complement to the gingery, citrusy cocktails on tap. They were out of a few things but doing an ace job keeping up with demand. They were out of the avocado margaritas, so I will DEFINITELY be back to sample one if those. If you haven't tried it yet, have some Rachel's Ginger Beer on tap - it's AMAZING!

If you are thinking about checking this place out, I'd honestly recommend saving your money and going elsewhere - there are plenty of other better spots on the Hill. I was excited about a new restaurant opening in this space. My husband and I decided to check it out on a Friday night. We walked in and got a table right away - several to choose from. However, it's a little awkward - there's no sign that says to seat yourself...and the bar tenders don't acknowledge you when you walk in...so...just know...you need to seat yourself. Cons: 0. It smells like the bars I hit up in the u-district when I turned 21. I'm looking at you old Earl's...musty bar smell. Yuck. 1. We sit down and grab a menu. There are about ten items on the menu. No description of what the items are. Just the name of the item. Like "Frito Pie." What is that? What toppings are on the nachos? It just bothered me. I'm not adventurous, I like to know what I am ordering :-( 2. Once you figure out what you want, you have to go up and order at the bar. That's fine - if you're not charging the prices they are charging. 3. They don't serve you water. Nope, instead it's self-service. But they don't tell you that. Because they don't look at you when you walk in the door - or tell you that when you order. Do they actually want my business? I was confused. The water glasses are small. Had to refill (ourselves) several times. 4. We ordered queso, flautas and the guac. Husband liked the guac. Queso was cold, hard and congealed in less then 3 minutes. If you are serving queso, serve it in cast iron or something that retains heat, not a cold, glass bowl. I can't tell you if it was good, because by the time I ate it - it was cold. The flautas were no bueno. The ones from QFC are tastier - and cheaper. The salsa had a kick to it! I love spicy salsa - but the ending taste is realllllly sweet. Too sweet :-( 4.5 Do you want chicken on your nachos or in your flautas? Too bad! Only option are (wimpy) beef flautas or beef or beans on your nachos (not sure if refried beans or black beans - menu doesn't specify). 5. Husband ordered a margarita - he says it wasn't great. 6. When we left, we both said our stomachs hurt and I wanted to punch Nacho Borracho in the pinata:-( 7. Decor is tacky. Tackier then La Cochina & Cantina down the street. Had the food been good, it wouldn't have bothered me. But it reminded me of a mexican themed frat party. 8. When we were leaving, I looked over towards the bar to wave and say thanks. Bar tender and I made eye contact because he was standing at the bar corner closest to the door. I raised my hand to wave and started to say thanks...and he looked away. 9. Bottom line - we paid too much for the experience. Pros: 1. Bar tenders were nice/helpful once you got their attention to order. 2. Open until 2am if you are stumbling home and need some drunk food!! If this were the only Mexican restaurant walkable in my neighborhood, I might consider returning in a few months to see if they made any changes or improvements. But that's not the case, so I don't think I will be returning. I'll take my $ elsewhere. Honestly, after visiting, I'm probably not their target patron. And that's okay! Hopefully, they'll find success.

I should have known my experience wasn't going to be the best when I couldn't even locate a phone number for this place... I had to find their sister company on Facebook and "message" them, which no one ever responded to. Nacho Borracho had a great write up in the Seattle Met Magazine so I wanted to plan my bestfriend's bday night there. I was unable to locate ANY information and was unable to contact for possible reservations so we just showed up this past Saturday night (3/15) at 7:30pm. I will start with the CONS: *No host, just the busser who asks for your ID right when you walk-in *No servers. The busser won't even bring water to your table, we were told to go to the "water station" in the back *No plates. I understand this isn't a full restaurant but to not have ANY plates for your appetizer type food is ridiculous. We had 5 people with 8 food items, it would have been nice if we each had atleast one small plate. Especially since we ate over 20 chicken wings and had nowhere to put the bones. *One bartender for the majority of the night? At first I wasn't aware of the water station so I stood at the bar for literally 20 minutes right when we walked in, just to get us waters to start. I wasn't even acknowledged but the bartendar's buddies sure were... The wait each time we went up to the bar was completely unacceptable. A second bartender showed up later in the night and he was very nice, friendly, attentive and quick. We definitely appreciated him. He was the ONLY employee in that establishment that was friendly. *One working bathroom which was disgustingly dirty. Water (I think) all over the ground... No seat covers. No ventilation. *Our entire table agreed that there is just TOO much lime in the Vitamin T slushy drink, almost unbearable to drink. Pro: Poblano Queso and Guava Mule slushy were amazing. I understand that this is a new establishment, I do but this is not the owners' first restaurant / bar. I even think they own 2 others so there are no excuses for our horrible experience Saturday night. If it wasn't for the birthday girl's positive attitude and wish to have a great night, we would have left. I know I will never visit this place again and I'm 99% sure that the other people in my group will not either. It's too bad, I really wanted to like this place.

You have to really love nachos to come here more than once in awhile, but the drinks were nice and strong. I had the totchos, and my friend had vegetarian nachos--both were salty, but pretty good. Staff was friendly, but there should probably be more of them; it seemed weird to have one guy tending bar, taking orders, cashiering, and running food.

Limited menu, but good snacks. In contrast to the other reviewers, I didn't find it to be overpriced at all. $8 for a completely drinkable negroni on tap, and $7 for a gingery guava moscow mule is fine by me. The service at the bar was kind of slow, but I think they were training a new guy in. Anyway, I'll go back.

I am always excited to try new restaurants in the neighborhood. Although I am always cautious and skeptical of Mexican food in Seattle, which is over all sub par, I was keeping an open mind. I was certainly challenged in keeping an open mind when I saw the words frito pie which should have bean (lol) a bad sign. I was standing out side close to noon and saw a guy walk in while I was waiting for a friend. It was rainy windy and cold. My friend finally showed up in a few minutes each of us cold and hungry. It was about 11:55 the door said it opens at noon, we said to each other we were cold and wet and can at least sit down to get out of the weather so we opened the door. We greeted by a snarky bartender who yelled across the restaurant "sorry guys aren't quiiiiiite ready to open." 1. Letting us come in and take our coats off and telling us we are early and will be with us in a while would not have killed them. 5 minutes wouldn't have killed them and gave our money to another place. 2. Keep your door locked until you are open. 3. They lost a big tab and tips of meals apps and drinks. 4. Won't have my business ever. If they read the reviews of other places in the neighborhood service is very important. 5. If you want to try a new restaurant in the hood another one opened on the other side of Cal Anderson. I plan to go to that one soon. Great start like the other reviewer said good luck with this cursed locale. Wasn't the last place Mexican? Oh and frito pie? Ewwww.

The bar itself is ok, but don't go here for late night eats. The kitchen closes at 1:30, even though everything posted says they serve food until 2am

This is a great addition to Broadway. I went in with a group of 8 late on a Saturday. We got a booth pretty quickly and the rest was nachos, tall boys of Tecate, great mixed drinks, and fun 90s hip hop. It was lively but chill. I will definitely be back. Probably too often.

There are things that are forgivable when a place is new, and I expect that. So with fairly low expectations, we went in this afternoon right after they opened. We were the only customers. Sat at the bar, the girl was friendly enough. I order a margarita, no salt. Easy. First thing she does? Salt my rim. Uh, ok, you didn't pay attention to what I said, but I'm not gonna freak out. Then we place a simple food order, tatchos (the nachos made on tater tots rather than chips) and the flautas. At this point there's one other customer, who appears to be her friend. Our food comes out, and she brings the regular nachos. She says "I think I accidentally put in your order as the nachos instead of the tatchos, do you want me to get you some of those in addition?". We're clearly annoyed, but don't want to wait and don't need more food. The food itself? Not bad. Chips in the nachos were good, but over salted. Flautas were good. Clearly this food would be bomb post-bar late night. But 3pm Monday, its nothing special. I ask for the check, she doesn't give me anything and just says "its $29". Uh, ok. I work in the industry, I know we mess up sometimes. But when I make a silly mistake, I make it right even if my customer isn't upset and give them some kind of discount for their inconvenience. Nope, not this girl. Full price for what I didn't order. Like I said, there are forgivable things to expect when a place is new. But a server who is 1 for 3 when we're the only customers kinda makes me over it. Maybe one night when I'm drunk and don't care I'll come back if I'm stumbling past. Bummer.

I'm gotta say, nothing is better then a boozy shush and plate of nachos on a rainy.. or sunny... or cloudy... ok, on any Seattle day. Nacho Borracho was introduced to me by my sister. She is the one that got me hooked on Rachel's Ginger Beer. When she told me there was Nacho bar that served alcoholic ginger beer, I was all for it. We were there for HH and got the nachos... fresh chips, ground beef, lettuce, onion, jalapenos and olives drizzled with sour cream and cheese sauce that is made in-house. Oh, and did I mention the carrots. They are habanero pickled carrots. Also got the Flautas. Fresh tortillas hand rolled and filled with shredded beef topped with melty cheese served with a salsa-like hot sauce and lettuce to wrap it in. For the booze, I tried the El Diablo (rachel's ginger beer, cassis, and tequila) and the guava moscow mule (it comes out of the shushie machine) . 2 drink and I was on a great buzz. Only sad part is that it is considered a bar so no kiddos allowed.

nachos are one of my mostest favoritest foods in the world and i love Rachel's Ginger Beer (she owns Nacho Borracho) so i was very excited for this place to open. but now that i've been, i'm very disappointed. there are pros and cons, but i'll start with the cons. first, it's a bar that sells a limited menu of food. meh! second, you have to order at the bar as there is no table service. third, for a place that has "nacho" in the name, they only make either bean or beef, regular or with tater tots. i was really hoping this place would have a large selection of various nacho ingredients and that things would be a little more gourmet or customizable. since it is a bar, it is very noisy and the music is very loud. but the ABSOLUTE WORST thing i experienced when i visited last week is when my friend joined us after we got our food and placed her order. right when she sat down, the owner (that would be Rachel) came in with her group and placed their order. my friend who used to work in a restaurant predicted the owner's large group would get all of their food first and the prediction was correct. almost half an hour later and after many inquiries, my friend's food finally came. i guess this is standard restaurant stuff but to me it just came across as horrible service and because of this, i'll probably never return. it's just not right and i don't want to support a place that does this. also, the food was just ok. nothing great. ok, the pros: the frozen/slushie guava pink grapefruit drink is EXCELLENT! also, rachel's ginger beer on tap! i also had the avocado margarita and, while not something i would order again, it was good and interesting. i'm glad to see something unusual on the menu. but even if i hadn't experienced such a horrible situation, i would not eat here again. a drink, perhaps? but with no happy hour, probably not.

Wow! What an unpleasant dining experience, from start to finish. You show up and they don't use a host so you are immediately confused and put in this very awkward position of competing for a table. Even if you get a table there are no waiters. You have to order at the bar with everyone else. So 20 minutes later you might have a drink. Tonight there was one bartender who was working hard but could not keep up. It was too busy. Literally I kept thinking to myself, "why bother?" Why bother to open up a restaurant that literally does not serve its customers? Why bother to serve food when your customers can't order it? This would never fly downtown. Maybe they can get away with it in Cap Hill but wow what a crappy experience. Food was decent but I was too pissed to enjoy it.

I rarely yelp, it's not my thing but I feel compelled to let others know about the utter disaster this place is. I read the short list of items on the menu and I didn't have lofty expectations of the food. I thought, I'll get the signature dish this place is named after and see what this place is all about. It's pretty hard to screw up nachos right? Boy was I ever wrong. The "dish" came out swimming in a wet watered down substance I have difficulty calling cheese. A few squirts of creme, a handful of cold ground beef, 7 slices of black olives and 4 slices of a jalapeno. I was immediately underwhelmed. The chips were cold, limp, soggy and drenched with the cheese sauce, if there were any real toppings they would be impossible to pick up with these sad wilted chips. Instead of covering the chips in real cheese and baking it in the oven, the cold chips are covered in a lukewarm cheese sauce much like the nachos you'd get in a paper boat at a bowling alley for $1.25 except these are ten times more expensive. I'm not joking. Oh yeah, if you'd like to recreate this forgettable experience it will set you back $12! Save you're money and go to Taco Bell, it would be an huge step up. The interior design is a contrived gringos idea of a "Mexican" theme. Unimaginative and boring. Much like Montana, patrons are encouraged to write on the booths with a sharpie. Ours was covered with references to butts and balls with a really hip strategically placed "drunk people were here". How clever. We noticed it was all done by the same person and again seemed sadly contrived. You can't force a space into looking like it's been there a while, it just looks off. Oh and about that Mexican flag on the back bar, you don't deserve to hang it in your establishment with the food you serve. Really, it's disrespectful. Drinks. It's not that difficult to mix a fresh margarita, a traditional margarita has a mere three ingredients. If you can get their attention, the aloof hipster bartenders skip all that hard work and pour the margaritas from a tap, unless of course you'd rather it be poured from one of three slurpee machines. Gross. This is a bandwagon bar riding the cresting wave of a classic CHS Blog puff piece. I have zero interest in ever going back.

This is my favorite spot for frozen avocado margaritas! Yum yum yum Definitely check them out. Conveniently located on Capitol Hill's Broadway makes this an easy place to access by foot or bus or uber- don't drink and drive please. Neon Taco provides delicious food to go with the delicious drinks. I've only hung out here during the Spring & Summer so I look forward to checking out the rotating drinks come Fall & Winter. They even have a photo booth in the back to capture the moment.

Good spot overall-- staff is sweet and attractive, food is great and comes out fairly quickly. They've expanded a teeny bit-- additional room/booth of seating down the back hall by the restrooms. The photobooth back there works, too, even if the light inside it isn't on. Don't forget to have a taco! Neon Tacos is the food window in the back. Great bites to pair with your frozen cocktail.

It's very chaotic and you need an ID to get in. So, it's not for those who want an intimate Mexican dinner. The tacos are alright, not too different from others I've tried. The taquitos were good though. Despite the average experience, kudos to the colorful pinata vomit decor

Take forty bucks and spend it here (two people). Sit in a colorfully decorated bar room filled with tall booth seating. Get happy while you drink margaritas at around 8 dollars each. Don't fall short from ordering the food, it's some of the best guacamole, tacos and quesadilas. At least that's the way my trip here ran. Thumbs up on the beef brisket tacos and the pink guava Moscow mule to drink.

This review is for Neon Tacos, the restaurant inside Nacho Borracho. I ordered 3 tacos, they were towards the pricier side. I got the tomatillo carnitas, marinated beef and another beef taco, forgot which one. The tacos were made with homemade tortillas which is always a bonus for me when it comes to Mexican food. All three meats were very tender and essentially melts in your mouth. Each taco had an individual sauce that was on top and it paired very well with the meats. The portion size for each taco was more towards the generous side. The only thing I wished was that they would use 2 tortillas per taco because due to the sauce and juices of the meats, the tortilla tore apart pretty easily. I enjoyed the atmosphere of Nacho Borracho. They had a DJ playing all the cuts. The people here are friendly too. Another solid experience in my book.

happy hour food: ordered the tater tot version. some were crispy, most were not. the sauce wasnt that spectacular. feels like something i can make at home easily. ***2/5 service: its confusing. so technically this review is for neon taco, not nacho borracho. even though they call it that, they dont serve food at all. drinks only. you walk to the back of the bar to order your food. ***3/5 value: not worth it. i had better totchos at better prices. ***2/5

NEON TACOOOOO! So, I'm that annoying former Californian who sneers at Seattle burritos and tacos. That sneer was wiped the hell off my face when I had Neon Taco's crispy pork tacos. Where have you been for the years that I've been a Seattle resident? These tacos are divine! Just the right amount of crisp on the outside, soft and meaty on the inside, with plenty of flavor to make my world go 'round. In fact, when I went down to LA and had my favorite tacos at El Taurino, I didn't yearn to move back just so I can swim in El Taurino tacos all day. I was perfectly content to have Neon Taco forever. Burritos, though, is another story...

This place has a great atmosphere and decorations; I love the Spanish language flash cards. Great place to grab a drink especially in the summer. Unfortunately, the food is sub-par and the margaritas are absolutely undrinkable. I'm not an anti-sugar guy or anything, but they need to tone it down a little. You could literally half the amount of sugar in those and they would still taste very sweet. Margaritas are supposed to be refreshing. If they could fix one of those, preferably the margaritas I would say 4 stars.

My Mexican abuela would faint if she saw me ordering an avocado margarita and a heaping order of tater tot pork tachos (to share,) but I did it anyway. Sop up the Tex-Mex cantina atmosphere with great friends and even better service. Ideally situated on Broadway a great happy hour and funkily decorated space, you really would be missing out if you didn't mark this place on your Seattle to-eat list.

Place looked interesting so we walked in to look at a menu. The waiter walked by us and didn't speak and the bartender wearing a pink shirt was cleaning a menu board with his back to us. So we waited. The bartender turned around (we were standing at the bar) looked at us then turned back to his wiping. Didn't even speak. There were only three tables in the whole place. I'm sorry but rudeness to customers is stupid.

1-800-HotBoyz is one of my favorites and it happens every friday night. But why pick up a phone when you can enjoy cool tunes, cold drinks, and forget how cause and effect works, in person. Definite correlation between quantity of tasty frozen drinks consumed and instances of vertigo the following day. I'm just glad I don't get dizzy staring at hot boyz in short shorts because then I'd have to find a new Friday night spot.

Loving this bar is like admitting you watch The Real Housewives. Yes, you lose credibility points, but F' it. I don't take myself that seriously in life and sometimes, you just need...dumb. The margaritas are something basic biznitches from Chicago on spring break from college would drink: super strong and super sweet to mask the cheap taquilla. This drink has one purpose only: black out. The mango margarita is crack. HALF of one will get you nice, ONE will get you twisted and TWO will get you white-gurl-wasted. If you've been out of college for more then a year and have a real job or not an alcoholic, these dranks will kick yo' booty. After your second one, you will need their "nachos"...no, fo' real...this isn't an option, you will NEED these, son. You have to get your ass up from your table and try to walk straight to the back. Just after the bar, is a window where you order this mound of...slop (refer to the pics section for visual). Those pics don't do it justice and they are far more disgusting in person when the room is spinning. Fake cheese (if you can call it that) and just loaded with "stuff"; it's only purpose is to save your life. I don't care if you are a vegan, you MUST eat these or you will.. die. Perhaps it's the fake cheese or the cocaine they put on that mound of "stuff", whatever it is...it will save your life after two shit show margaritas... you're welcome. Everything about this bar sucks, minus the workers. My Seattle peeps said it was a dive bar, yet it opened last year? Basically, it's like a TGIF's or a Chilli's; it's a "themed" bar in that it didn't get to "dive bar" status through time, but rather was created for that purpose (how LA of these people). In other words, it's as fake as a reality show. If you didn't end up here already drunk, you will leave it so...and because of that, it has its place and thus, my heart. Go here if you want to relive your college years... just try not to die here.

Every Day Feels Like Cinco De Mayo! SITREP Oh my god. Props to my sweet friends Kate & Kimber for turning me on to this spot with my recent trip back to Seattle. If you have got the "munchies" then your cabana ship has sailed in. THE SETUP There was so much to enjoy at this yummy stop. * First off, they use great traditional Mexican cheese for their nacho cheese sauce, and it's to die for. * The chips are made fresh and always hot - any combo of toppings you want, from beans, to beef, to peppers, make it how you want, though there combo deals dial in the best prices from $9-$12. * The salsa is always fresh and has the tongue (and the rest of body) sweating from the spiciness * And, again, the drinks - the margaritas - are top notch with the best tequila and make you feel like you've been at a fiesta all day. * Avocado Margaritas, where you been all my life? This place knocked my socks off. THE LOWDOWN If you have a hankering & craving for nachos, then this is your mecca!

I needed nachos. I was not here to get drunk, I was just hungry. All I wanted was a pile of disgusting chips covered in a variety of unhealthy garbage and cheese sauce. This did not satisfy! They no longer allow you to build your own nachos and you get food at the stand in the back, which has one type of nacho. The nacho had stewed pork, which was quite good and the best part, a few jalapeños, diced tomatoes, and cheese sauce. That was it. The sauce was ok but it was so salty I could only eat half of the nachos - and I love salty food! Would never come here again for that. I will update again after I've tried the booze and tacos, as I think the tacos will be better.

Nacho Borracho is one of those cases where I wanted to like them more than I did -- I've tried coming here a few times now, but each time it had been foiled -- it's been too busy or they weren't open for service yet. Finally after what seems to be almost a year, I was able to get in, but was unfortunately disappointed by their food and service. I got up to the bar to order (because that's what you do here). I waited to get the bartender's attention as he was quite engrossed watching a game. I don't blame him -- the bar was more or less empty with a few folks here and there this particular afternoon. I ordered their breakfast burrito ($9-10ish) and asked for it sausage-less. They were willing to do that. "Is it possible to replace the sausage with avocado/guacamole?" No. "Could you just charge me extra?" No. The bartender suggested that I order a side of guacamole for $5 and then unwrap the burrito and add it in myself. My response? No. The breakfast burrito came -- it had a nice toasted tortilla, scrambled eggs, potatoes, and cheese. It was neither awful nor amazing. I do think avocados would have been nice. As a whole, their menu items are not the most vegetarian friendly (it's great if you're okay with eating simply refried beans and cheese). After sitting down, I do see on their menus that they "politely decline substitutions."

Anya's Rating Summary: Food/drink (4/5), Pricing (5/5), Service (3/5), Atmosphere (4/5). Verdict: Grab a few friends and go! Food/Drink: My absolute favorite drink these days resides here, the pink guava moscow mule. If you're a fan of ginger like I am, you will be very pleased and it's in a slushy form, who doesn't love a slushy? Am I right? I've also tried the avocado margarita, sounds weird, but it's strong and delicious. For food, I had a beef, pork, and turkey taco; all nicely dressed and very tasty. Overall, I would rate the food/drink a 4/5. Pricing: Liquor drinks are pretty averaged priced, beer is cheap, and there's a happy hour, which always makes things better. The food won't cost you much (~$3-4 for one taco - you'll want at least 3 of these) so if you're on a budget you can get away with a few beers and a couple tacos for $20. Overall, I would rate the pricing 5/5. Service: You have to order your food at a separate window and drinks at the bar. The people at the food counter are nice, and quick. The bartenders on the other hand could use some work. Sat there a couple days ago waiting for drinks with a friend and the bartender continued to hold a conversation for 5 minutes even after seeing us waiting to order. Overall, I would rate the service 3/5. Atmosphere: Kind of has a divey feel with all of the graffiti on the walls and benches. I love all of the colorful lights and decor though, definitely a great place to hang out with friends after work for happy hour or before going out to some bars. Relaxed, chill atmosphere. I wouldn't have a group larger than 4 since there isn't really any space for it. Booths are nice because it's more private than a room full of tables, which I have never really been a fan of. Overall, I would rate the atmosphere 4/5.

I like this place a lot as well as the Neon Taco popup inside. The frozen margaritas are extremely sweet - I can't drink them anymore. But the house margarita is fine and I love the food. The tortillas are handmade and the taco fillings taste fresh and flavorful. I got the beef brisket and would recommend. This place is on the divey side - not exactly a date night or dinner with the parents spot but a chill place to hang with friends. It's a bit dark inside so don't waste a sunny day here.

I came here on a Sunday afternoon. My boyfriend and I were literally the only customers in the entire place. It was our first time there so we weren't exactly sure how everything worked. We asked for menus from the bartender. After finishing her text message she passed us one menu. We figured out our order and went to tell the bartender (there is a massive sign stating order from the bar). In a typical Washington passive aggressive tone she sent us to the window in the back. I inquired about the specials which seemed to really frustrate her. When I asked for a water, you would have thought I asked her to fetch it from a glacier. The tacos were delicious, nachos not so much. The owner should consider hiring someone who knows how to smile for behind the bar.

Fun bar with totchos and alcoholic slurpees. It's dangerously good. There's also a photobooth, but note that the pictures come out really dark. The wait for a drink can be long on a busy night, but the avocado margarita slurpee is totally worth the wait.

If I only judged the place on how much I enjoyed the food it would be zero stars. I don't think you should trash a place because you just don't prefer something. However this place also didn't earn many stars in my book. We ordered tacos, queso 'n chips and two margaritas. The tacos were good. The queso was melted velveta, a complete waste. The margaritas were fairly spicy as if a few habaneros had been dropped in the blender. That might be your thing but give me a heads up when I'm ordering or on the menu. Left the drinks almost untouched. I will never go back.

Didn't get food so can only review on the drinks, chips and salsa. Ok so let's say loved the frozen mules!! When I went it was pink guava mule delicious! Also tried the el diablo great if you love tequila! This is a good place to come with someone who doesn't drink since they have Rachel's ginger beer on tap!!! Chips and salsa were great and came with a super creamy guacamole! The layout was kinda tight. With booths super close to the bar. You order food at the bar. Plan to come back and try the food. And the rotating strong cocktail!

My friend has been talking about Nacho Borracho ever since I got back from LA. Now, having just been in the land of decent Mexican food (and not really being a huge fan of Mexican in general), I had other priorities. But frozen cocktails "on tap"? That's enough to get me in, especially in the heat that Seattle experienced this summer (seriously, guys, what the heck was up with that?). My first time in, the bartender kindly hooked me up with three sample shot glasses of his frozen wares. I found one I liked but was surprised at how much bite they had. I couldn't tell whether it was from the alcohol or from any spice, but I found I wasn't a convert. They were okay though! I really liked the El Diablo -- it's not frozen and it's got a hint of kick from RGB, but it was much more balanced and tasty. All I remember about the food is that I had some, but chances are you're not going to a place like this to eat anyway. I do hope this place sticks around -- it's well known that that space on Broadway is cursed. I wonder how much Nacho Borracho will depend on the warm weather to get people in the door, as I can't see much demand for frozen cocktails come November. But hey, I've been wrong before, and that El Diablo will be on my mind for a while!

Mixed feelings about this place, it is definitely not what I would call Mexican street food as they state on their menu. And I was kind of hoping it would only ba a nacho bar, not gonna lie. Pros: -Mexican version of poutine. Totchos!! Tater tots covered in what tastes like tostitos queso dip (aka crack) and then a full spread of normal nacho goodness. -guac was fresh and decent -generous portion of meat on the old school tacos -super nice staff -RGB on tap for $4, a steal Cons: -lazy with the chips, not warm not homemade : (. - Avacodo frozen margarita was disappointing. -normal sad radishes and jalapeño, no pickled bar or salsa bar.

I'm not usually a fan of frozen drinks, but WOW the avocado margaritas are great -- and potent! We had those, and the nachos. The nachos were good drunk food and fit the need, but definitely on the creative junk food side, not so much authentic or fresh. I saw a few reviews that said this place is focused on nachos, and the name implies the same, but really, it's just one thing on the (limited) menu. Cute atmosphere, great drinks, close to my house so I'm sure I'll end up here again. One complaint -- the website doesn't have prices OR info on happy hour.

Drinks are pretty tasty but I wouldn't come here for the food. Ordered nachos and yowzas it's enough for 3 people at least. That's good I suppose but please note they are also $12. The nachos SOUNDED good but alas they fall short. The homemade queso is kinda flavorless and coagulates by time it is served to you. Overall the dish is topped with beef, pico, crema, and goodness but is overall pretty salty. It was OK, but not the greatest. My biggest qualm is that there's a sign that notes happy hour EVERY DAY 3-6pm. I went in on Sunday around 3:15. No happy hour prices. WHAAAA!? $30 for nachos and 2 margs seemed a touch steep. The menu is kept short with a few oddball items like pizza?! Overall it's a chill spot if you want to hang and grab a drink. The passion fruit margarita is on point. I feel like most things here are over priced by about $2

I heard about Nacho Borracho on Seattle Eater and it immediately filed it away in my mental list of must-try Seattle margarita destinations. From our first step though the front door I knew I was about the vibes of the restaurant: colored lights and steamers danced across the ceiling and the building was buzzing with people. It's a first-come first-serve table situation, but we didn't have too much trouble getting seated. After ordering a couple of margaritas at the bar and some totchos and tacos from the back (Neon Taco is food counter in the back) we sat down and anxiously awaited our forthcoming fiesta. The Margaritas: were a bit sweet, but pretty good quality for being on tap. I would've liked to taste my tequila a little more, but it it were a hot summer day I would be alllll about it. The frozen avo variation was pretty good too. 6.5/10 on my Marg scale. The food; was good! I had 3 tacos and each of them were super flavorful and satisfying. My friend was ABOUT the tots, except we were a little perplexed about why the cheese sauce was at the bottom of the tots and not on top. Not a deal breaker, though. Overall: would totally go again! They're open late (2am) and I could certainly see myself popping in there for a break from the craziness.

Had really high hopes for Neon Taco, and while I liked the posole and the horchata cold brew, I felt it was very overpriced. Including tip, it set me back ~$20

You mean there's an ENTIRE restaurant solely dedicated to NACHOS!? The gods have spoken and the heaven gates have opened. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Now I want to be super insightful and give the best of reviews on this place, but alas my ability to do so is limited to only one encounter so far. I don't venture to that part of the hill very often, but man oh man, this place is worth the stop in. They have a really great late night happy hour and the nachos were indeed, awesome. My mouth almost couldn't stop watering at the sight that they make a magical creation of nachos with... wait for it... Doritos!? Seriously!? You're talking straight to this "fat girl's" heart. And when I say fat, the only thing on my body that's fat is my stomach. FEED me nachos. I split the happy hour portion of nachos and grabbed 2 beers with a grand total of $18. I consider that a very decently priced happy hour for the quality, the service, and the overall environment. The bartenders were great and the service was quick, efficient, and wonderful. I look forward to my next stop in here, but until than... I'll daydream of Doritos nachos.

I hate to say it but: the nachos are high school nachos, like with the cheese sauce and everything! If you are into those kind of nachos then go check it out. The fact they give you the plastic forks and you buy the food from a separate place does not really help their case at all. The premade drinks are not that bad, and the avocado margarita is super strong although not sure i could drink a whole one. The traditional marg was fine, but a bit sweet for my tastes. All in all, not worth a revisit unless it is super late and I am already tipsy.

So disappointing. I wanted to like this place so badly, even going several times before giving up. There is so much potential here if you could just get the bartender's attention. He spends most of his time watching television or engaging in long conversations with customers? (Or friends) and rarely looks up to take a drink order. He looks nice enough, typical Cap Hill local, longer blond hair, smaller guy, but God if he could just notice his customers once and awhile!!! Adios Nacho Borracho.

Drinks: Served quickly because they're premade. Atmosphere: good music, nice lighting Nachos: Really bad. We had two orders of nachos and both seemed to be the chips from the bottom of the bag. The chips got soggy quickly, made worse by the lack of side plates/forks. The buffalo chicken nachos may have ruined bleu cheese for me.

Randomly walked into this place to use the bathroom and maybe have a drink. I'm really glad we did because the margaritas the bartender (male, beard) made us were delicious!! It was happy hour and we tried the chips and salsa for $2 and so simple and delicious. Even better--they have a photobooth! Really clean, well decorated and a fun place to be! Definitely reccommend if you're looking for a quick, unique snack in SEA!

I was so excited to try this place. What doesn't sound cool about a restaurant dedicated to Nachos with cocktails on tap in Cap Hill? Maybe it was just the overhype but unfortunately my experience wasn't fantastic. The nachos were nice, the queso was tasty, but there was nothing that unique about it. Prices are a little much for what they offer. The space is lacking effort in the design. Also, the barman charged my card twice for the meal which wasn't great. (When I called that in it didn't seem to be a surprise to them so that's something they should probably work on). Drinks are strong! Some people consider that a good thing, but I'm not sure. Agree with the recommendation of others to stay away from the Avocado Margarita, sounds better than it is and the other cocktails are nicer.

Well, my husband (who is from Mexico City) and I heard good things about the Tortas and wanted to try them. He is the litmus test for Mexican food around the Sound. The sandwiches were good, but both of us thought they were quite salty. The drinks are good but, expensive. Enquire if they have a happy hour before going. You will pay two different tickets plus tips. One for the bar and one for Neon Taco. Your vist will run about $35 to $38 for one Margarita, one Tecate tall boy and two Pork Verde Tortas with tax and tips.

5 stars for tasty, strong drinks and delicious nachos! I love the pink guava moscow mule. It is fruity and sweet but has a pretty strong kick to it. If I have more than two, I'm a goner. Their nachos are inventive and incredibly tasty! My favorite it probably the buffalo chicken nachos. I never thought I'd like that combination on nachos but they were delicious.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
