Used the Yelp App / EAT 24 App for delivery. The food came in about an hour. The Pad Thai was really good, however we ordered very spicy and it was not spicy at all. Spring rolls were great. Added on order of peanut sauce which was SO GOOD and big. The thai beef jerky was unique and yummy. The golden tofu was not as good as it sounded but not bad either. Great place for delivery for SURE!

Most people who frequent here would probably tell you that they'd never come here if it weren't close to their place of work... The place is small, and during peak times (which is basically lunch time), there is always a line (though in fairness, the line moves quickly). The service is fast and hurried. The food is on the side of bland and "something isn't quite right", but not BAD my any means. I've had worst thai food. Definitely had better.

I was not impressed by the quality of the food here, or the service. The soup included with the meal tasted like lukewarm bath water. No flavor. The combo meals seemed like a good value, but there's just something missing. The flavor was not there. The quality was lacking. I may give them a second chance, but I was not impressed.

I like this place just fine. Everything tasted really fresh and nothing was greasy. I had Phad Thai with medium spice (since I'd not been before) and it was nowhere near spicy so I will be increasing stars next time I order. The fresh rolls were HUGE and actually kinda difficult to bite into without spilling the contents everywhere. Ordered on a food delivery app and wait time was estimated at 1 hour but we actually got our food in about 35-40 minutes. Lesson learned: ask for more spice and don't get the fresh rolls unless I'm okay with getting messy.

This was an amazing place for a good pad Thai. The dish was perfectly spiced without being too dry. As for the presentation, it was another five stars, even when you get take out. Noms!!!

This is a popular lunch spot in the Denny Triangle area. I've tried dine-in and take out and both instances the service has been consistently efficient and friendly. The tofu phad thai and chicken curry arrived with the exact amount of spice requested. Both dishes came well-presented. The phad thai was noticeably sweeter, however still delicious. The chicken curry had a good amount of flavor and balance between spice and savory. I would definitely mark this establishment as one of my preferred options when choosing a fast mid day meal.

I came here on Sunday and was starving. I found this little gem and as soon as I heard the chef using the wok in the kitchen, I knew this was the place to be. I ordered the pad se ew with pork and it as flavorful and delicious. The noodles didn't seem the freshest but it just might have been the style of noodle? Anyways, it was still delicious and I practically licked my plate.

My coworkers and I love coming here for lunch on the weekdays. The lunch menu is affordable and delicious, and they always give generous portions. I typically order one of the combo menu items, where you pick a protein and it comes with pad thai and rice. I always go for the green curry or the basil chicken, and have plenty to save for lunch the next day. My bf got the crab fried rice and it was only okay. You can choose the spice level of most of your dishes. If you can tolerate, a 2 or 3 should work (3s fairly spicy) but 4 or 5 will make you sniffle!

I always drive by here. Always. (What does that say about my post-downtown driving habits? Eep!) But because I'm on my way home by the time I drive by, I never have. (Also, if I pick up food here, by the time I get home, it'd be lukewarm. Anyway...) One afternoon during PAX, we trekked over from the Convention Center and had some lunch. I was pleasantly surprised. The portion size was generous, the spice was right, and they didn't scrimp on the tofu! (That right there is a huge determining factor for repeat business!) I can't say that I'm usually in the area, but if I were to be, I'll stop by again.

We frequent this place for dinner due to their fast and cheap dinner options. Pretty much everything on the menu is 10 dollars or less which is great for your wallet. Right as you walk in the door, you'll be greeted and seated and your order will be taken quickly... so look over that menu with the speed of a... ... .. speedy eyeball? The ambiance is nothing special and pretty simple, but they more than make up for it with their delicious Pad See Ew (a plate of carbs: large flat noodles that, while savory, taste like they have a super subtle almost burnt on sweetness) made quickly and to your spiciness preference. If you're a pad see ew aficionado, you know the best has that baked in sugar flavor. The fiend in me goes crazy for that and this has slight traces of that... so in my book, it's above average. I've also tried the Tom Yum soup which is flavorful, but it's a lot of broth and not a lot of chicken or substantial ingredients. There's always a lot of broth left over. The portions are pretty generous though (for good prices), and like I said, the service is fast... so I'll definitely be back. Also try: thai iced tea!

Was seated in no time. Although, felt very rushed to place my order. Luckily for this establishment the food was amazing. Although as an overall dining experience sub-par. If your hungry give it a try. If you want a friendly conversation with the waiter direct your path elsewhere.

Popular lunch spot for people working in and around downtown. Positives: -Good flavorful food at reasonable prices in a nicely done up restaurant. Have had green curry, panang curry, pineapple fried rice and soup. Every one of them have tasted great! - Quick service but sometimes you won't understand what is said to you by the staff Negatives: - their free soup for lunch is a hit or miss. Sometimes it tastes like soy sauce and nothing else

The service was ok without a smile. The women really looked as if they didn't want to be there, except for one younger girl with a ponytail. I had to ask for everything- ice for the water. Extra plates since we ordered 2 dishes. Spice tray. Chopsticks... Jusus! The place felt and tasted more like it belonged in mall food court. The pad Thai tasted soggy. Luke warm. Chicken in it was tough like a cardboard. Hardly no veggies with it. It looked and tasted like it was pre-made and then slabbed on the plate when ordered. It was pretty bad. Eggplant Chicken was the same. Luke warm...... Portions were small. I would recommend elsewher for Thai fix.

Citrus That have been a part of my work life for the past 1 year... with the move of our company to a different location, that means that I will not be able to order anymore any day of the week. In no particular order, these are the food that I like from Citrus Thai; Calamari/Fried Squid and I match it with Green Papaya Salad Seafood Spice Eggplant in Black Bean Sauce Deep Fried Trout with Mango Sauce Also, I like the Thai Iced Tea, a refreshment and dessert at the same time.

I've only gotten take-out from Citrus and have always been pleased. The flavors are good and service is friendly.

Citrus Thai is great for a quick in-and-out lunch and I mean quick. A co-worker of mine and I actually timed how fast we could get in and out of here and it took us 13 minutes, thats it. The food isnt bad by any means, they are consistent and very very fast almost too fast, Jimmy Johns should take notes. I come here to "eat to live" not "live to eat". I have yet to be disappointed by their food, but some people may feel "rushed" when sitting down to eat here.

I ordered the green papaya salad, drunken noodles and fresh spring rolls for delivery. Delivery was very fast, especially considering it was during peak dinner hours. You order your food spice level on a 1-5 scale. I ordered both dishes at a 2. I may have completely misunderstood the scale or the what the person on the phone said, but I though this was fairly mild. The girl called it 'medium'. However, the papaya salad was so spicy I had to stop after two bites. It has a wonderful flavor and will go lovely with some plain rice as leftovers. I eat spicy food regularly so I was surprised by the heat level for a so called 'medium'. So just be careful! The drinker noodles were great. Even though they were also 'medium' on the heat scale they were much milder than the papaya salad. You can get a variety of meats or tofu. I opted for only vegetables and asked for extra of my favourites. They accommodated this request at no additional charge. The spring rolls... Holy cow. It's $5.95 for two of them and they are HUGE. Freshly made with crisp veggies and a delicious, generous serving of peanut sauce. Next time I will just order these.

  • Amanda N.

I like the fact that they're fast, especially during lunch. I like the fact that you can have noodles in your tom yum soup. Wish they had more seafood options

Totally worth the food...it was a huge relief for me coming from SFO to find a good thai place in seattle downtown...A must go for everyone!!

  • Nicholas T.

Went in for lunch around 2pm and it was empty. For average Thai food downtown, it's a good deal. I had the Pad Sew Ew, which was flavorful. With each entree at lunch you get a soup, which is basically just a cup of broth with some cut of tofu and carrots. Almost not worth having that. For a dollar more, I opted for the "Thai" ice tea, which is like standard iced tea put has some condensed milk in it. Not bad. My wife had the Penang curry, which was tasty. The lunch portions are tiny, so keep that in mind. Finally, they offer all their menu items on a 1-5 scale of spicy. Just tell them what you want, and they will make it accordingly.

Not too impressed with this place. As a business traveler, I ordered delivery to my hotel room (about .5 miles away) so I could work at the same time. I was told my order would arrive in 40 minutes -- a little long, but I figured it was worth the wait instead of walking somewhere. I waited for over an hour before I finally called to see the order's status. I was told that the delivery man had left "over 20 minutes ago," and should be there any minute. I waited another 10 minutes before I called the front desk. Apparently, the delivery man had left my food at the front desk, after the delivery location was taken down wrong (wrong room number). Instead of Citrus Thai or the delivery man calling me and letting me know, I was left wondering where my food was. They did take my phone number as part of the delivery order. The delivery man forgot my drink, forgot any sort of eating utensils or napkins, and also did not include a receipt in the bag he left at the front desk. As far as the food - it was ok. I ordered NO SPICE in my curry, and it was too spicy for me to eat after two bites (had to throw it away). The satay was good, and the peanut sauce was great on top of it. Based on my experience, I won't be ordering again. I'd rather walk somewhere and get immediate service then have to track down an order. UPDATE: Shortly after leaving this review, the delivery man came to my door with a receipt and my drink. Not sure if the two are associated, but he did apologize for the mix up and said he should have called. Will maybe give them another chance next time I'm in town.

This place gets super busy after 11:45, so come here early. I usually come here around 11:30 with a group of 3-4 and we are usually seated right away. The tom-yum noodle soup is really good on a cold/rainy Seattle day and the curry is really good too. I recommend the panang curry, yellow curry fried rice or the tom-yum noodle soup. One of the better Thai places around Seattle imho.

  • Bev R.

Had eaten at Citrus Thai at least four times while visiting Seattle in the past year. On this visit we needed delivery, and delivery was prompt, with the meals arriving hot and fresh, and delicious. We liked the food so much we ordered meals on two consecutive nights.

  • India G.

I loved the location, environment, friendly space, and prices. Unfortuneately, my pad See Eew had way too many carrots (which I i do not believe belong in this dish) and my broccoli was only stems! They were bitter and tough and i was not able to eat them. No florets or heads of broccoli or broccoli raab. I heard this location was associated with Bell Thai, in Belltown, and I will continue to go that one instead.

If I could leave zero stars for service, I would. I called in an order for lunch today and was told fifteen minutes. I arrived fifteen minutes later and the waitress went to check on my order, came back and said they were making it "right now". Fifteen minutes later, she comes back and tells me they have no record of my order, and would I like them to begin making it?!?!? I had to get to work, so I left angry and hungry. Worst. Service. Ever. I will not be returning and will be warning away friends.

On a visit from Southern California I tried this place because the rating was fairly high. I had the BBQ Chicken and asked for it 3.5/5 on their spicy scale. I should've gone spicier...3.5 was pretty mild. The flavor of the chicken was good. Nothing earth shattering, but good. Unfortunately, it was pretty dry. The sticky rice was overcooked as well. To be fair, it wasn't so bad that I felt compelled to send it back or complain. On the other hand, I did notice the overcooked food enough to write a review. If I have a hankering for Thai again on Seattle, I'll try someplace else next time.

Good choice in their menu, and the food I've ordered here has always been pretty good. Quick service. Bland dining room, but with such quick service you don't really care.

It's good! Consistency is a little off..... I order the same thing and it's different each time ;) but Hell as long as it taste good who cares!

Tasty Thai made quickly. Simple service. The portions are smaller than many might like but I'm often happy with restaurants that don't serve gargantuan America portions. I would have liked more chicken in my Garlic Chicken dish though, but I did enjoy the meal. All in all, a fine choice for lunch for anyone nearby.

The online ordering option was cool. Delivery was fast and free over $20. Unfortunately I got sick (food poisoning?) afterwards. I never had issues with Pad Thai before.

Ordered delivery from Citrus Thai last night via Grubhub.com & was pleasantly surprised. My expectations weren't really that high simply because I have never had very good experiences with delivery food other than pizza, it is usually luke warm & unnappitizing by the time it arrives. HOWEVER, Citrus Thai was SO quick, after I hit the order button not even 20 minutes later a friendly gentelman was at my door with my order. Everything was fresh, beautiful looking & still hot! I would reccomend their basil chicken & cashew chicken dishes. Will definitely order again!

If you're looking for quick pick-up Thai food, this is your place. They have a good sized menu and good variety. Every time I've ordered from here it's been consistently satisfying. It's never particularly busy, if you're looking to sit and eat.

forgot the limes for my pad thai, but he brought it out right away. they charge extra for the rice. location is hard to get to if you're driving. ideal for office workers. very solid dish of pad thai i had.

  • Rohan K.

This place has some pretty good thai food at fair prices. Have been here a few times and though very busy at lunch, they maintain good service. The bowl of soup to start you off is fresh and tasty. I'd surely recommend the Panang curry and the phad-kee-mao; both are fantastic. I usually get them with chicken. The yellow curry rice is not bad as well. Unfortunately, the one thing they still have to get right is the classic phad thai. It's pretty dry and lacks flavour. The cold coffe is a nice accompaniment to the meal as well. I'd definitely go here again since it's close to work and has fairly good food, service and prices.

  • Meghan K.

I really love this place. The food is good and it's a block away from my work. They give me a 10% discount because of where I work too. The atmosphere is nice, small place but quiet. A hidden Jem for sure. The yellow curry is wonderful! Enjoy!

Super fast, super good, super reliable Thai food in a place without a lot of it. I come for lunch at least once a week and have never been disappointed.

  • Dan B.

Was really impressed with the super fast service but the quality of food was certainly sub par. I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. I ordered pad thai chicken and got a decent portion of noodles, and maybe only 4-5 small pieces of chicken. The flavoring was bleh and way over spices/seasoned, I ordered 2 stars.

I LOVE this place! Very happy that I finally found a delicious Thai food place that delivers!! You get a good amount of food for the price and they always deliver quickly. Haven't had a bad experience yet. Their pad thai, fresh rolls and chicken with cashews is super yummy. Thank you for being awesome... Thank you indeed

When I wrote my last review I was new to eating thai food & more easily impressed. Overall this place is a decent option especially if you work in the area but there are better thai options around & I wouldn't go out of my way for this place.

This isn't necessarily a 4-star take a date here for a special night, but it's definitely 4-star high-quality quick, friendly and oh-so-tasty for a quick bite alone or with friends. I had the Panaang Curry, which you can order with Chicken, Beef, Pork or Tofu. The flavors were layered and nuanced and the heat was just right. Great find!

Had a very unpleasant takeout & customer service experience at Citrus Thai. We ordered pad see ew, basil chicken, and mixed veggies. Please see the picture to see what arrived as the DINNER portion. I am not kidding. What you can't see is that the mixed veggies, in addition to only filling half of a container, are a delightful mix of previously frozen broccoli stalks (no greens), carrots and those yucky filler sprouts. All for the bargain price of $9.95. Yes, TEN DOLLARS. The basil chicken tasted pretty good but how about a normal portion? Pad see ew, not pictured, was light on noodles and heavy on broccoli stalks (again, no greens) and very salty. So upon taking out these containers and seeing what my $33 had wrought, I was so upset I immediately called the restaurant. Not totally sure what I hoped to accomplish but in a hungry rage that's what happened. In a calm manner, expressed my frustration and disappointment and they apologized and offered me a complimentary dish. Oh wait, that's not what happened, HE FRICKING HUNG UP ON ME! So I tried to give you a chance to right the wrong Citrus, but now I have no choice but to turn to Yelp. Bummer because based on location this would have been our go-to takeout Thai joint.

I was a longtime, regular customer of their tasty Thai delivery. Somehow now that I live in a new place (in the same neighborhood as before though), they won't deliver the TWO blocks out of their delivery area to me. Two blocks. I live in the middle of Cap Hill & they won't come here. Hope this changes.

The pad kee mao is a bit different than most places, not quite as dark of a sauce is used. I don't know the difference with the ingredients, but it's certainly sweeter than most pad kee mao's. Good sized portions, super friendly staff, and really good cabbage soup for free. I've had a red curry here too and it was great as well. It's my local go-to Thai place when I'm at work. They have a tasty fried rice as well, although I'm not a huge fan of Pad Thai in general, theirs is a notch above most other places. It's not very spicy though, I get five stars and have no problem at all.

  • Tori G.

Granted, I was the only person in the restaurant for the first ten minutes or so of my meal, but my server was super attentive and friendly. Even after other people came in (and we're not talking that many, because this is a pretty small restaurant), she made sure to regularly check on me and refill my water (which was necessary, because "medium" was spicier than I anticipated). I had the Citrus Chicken, which was perfectly breaded and deep fried and sauced. I know the plate is probably intended for two people, but I ate the whole thing, because HOLY DELICIOUS. And I'd do it again. Don't test me. This place is kind of out of the way given that I'm rarely if ever in Belltown, but the next time I'm in that area, I'll be coming back here FOR SURE.

  • Christopher Z.

They are pretty busy during lunch so we only try to come here slightly before 12. Otherwise the line is really long. I got the fried rice which had a lot of rice and meat. Your meal comes with a soup (only if you dine in and not take out). The waitress didn't refill our water frequently and when we made an additional order, they totally forgot about it. Overall, the place was alright. I've been to a lot of Thai places around and this one falls about even.

I have been going to this restaurant for almost a year and up until today, the service has been good and the food great. Today I called in to place my order and asked if they could remove the orange sauce from the chicken and just serve brown rice with it. She kept saying she couldn't hear me...well duh, it was noon and that small restaurant gets crowded and the phone is right there by the noise of the kitchen and dining room. She then asked me to call back later. At this point I did speak up by saying: "I won't be ordering from you again. Can you hear that?" I gently (promise) released the receiver and that's that. Hmmmph.

The pad Thai was tasty and online ordering/delivery easy. However the yummy noodles gave my BF explosive (TMI?) food-borne illness. Consider: tasty noodles or spending the night on the toilet? The choice is up to you!

Sweet little Thai spot on Howell. The location is a little odd but I'm glad it was there because we were in the area waiting for our tires to be put on. Not a very large restaurant but that didn't take anything away from the food they offered. My wife had the phad thai - which was really good and had some nice spice to it! I ordered the Chicken Kao Soi. I've never had "Kao Soi" before, but wanted to venture out from my regular phad thai or phad see ew. It's essentially a rice soup noodle with yellow curry for the soup. It had some crispy noodles on top which were an nice little addition that added some texture/crunch to each bite. I opted for 4-star and I'm not lying when I say this, my mouth started to water when I typed "4-star" !! It was really spicy!! I usually go for the 5-star or whatever is highest, but I chose to give my tummy sweat glands a little break and went lower. I undershot it... my mouth was burning (but a good burn) :) This dish is definitely the "best of both words." If you can't decide between a noodle dish or a curry dish... get this curry noodle dish! Prices are reasonable as well. Defintely a pleasant surprise on a random Saturday afternoon!

Perusing the reviews here the ones with problems are with delivery - taking too long, not hearing me, not removing a sauce... whatever. I went here for first time for dinner and will definitely be back. Outstanding real crab fried rice, rolls, tom kha soup, pad thai, yellow and green curries (with rice) Very reasonable$$ Four of us stufffed ourselves for under 80$ Awesome service with the light crowd that was there

Very average. We had the basil chicken and satay. Edible, but nothing to write home about. The delivery took twice as long as they estimated, but hey...at least we didn't have to change out of pajamas to walk and get it!

This place always has solid Thai food. Im addicted to theirTom Yum Noodle Soup, so good! It always super busy between 12pm and 1pm for lunch during the week so my recommendation would be to go anytime but then. Lunch and delivery can take a long time because of this.

I live next door, it's delicious. Busy at lunch. We always get take out. Pretty delicious, wouldn't drive to far to get it. They are really fast too, I guess Thai food is quick to cook? Like 8 minutes quick? I recommend the drunken noodles

We've found our perfect dining before going to a show at Re-Bar option (and possibly before Paramount shows, too). Staff was exceedingly gracious and friendly. Menu has a nice selection...and some handwritten notes/clarifications next to a few items, which we found charming. Rather than pay to reprint the entire thing, just annotate the page. A few of us arrived earlier than the group, so we ordered some appetizers (fresh rolls and crab rangoon). Delicious...and gorgeous plating. While only two fresh rolls, they were sliced into six generous pieces, and the peanut sauce was complex/lovely. The crab rangoon was maybe a little light on the crab, but great flavor and a lovely sweet/sour sauce, too. And not super greasy. Yay! Some yelpers have complained about the spice levels, but it was perfect for us. My 3 stars out of 5 was exactly what I expected. Some decent heat but nothing too overpowering. The Phad kee mao (sp?) was quite tasty, and the veggies were crisp and fresh. Only two slices of tomato in the whole plate, though, which was a bummer. LOTS of onions, but not so much of the chinese broccoli, either. Still, I cleaned my plate. Others enjoyed their food as well. The green curry was particularly remarked upon. Nice that they offer brown rice, too. Our server was always on top of providing refills on water and hot water for my tea. The place only had a few tables full at 6:30pm on a Sunday night, which wasn't too surprising. The location is PERFECT for Re-bar, and decent for the area hotels (Olive 8, etc). But not much housing nearby to get neighborhood dining. Although I'm excited to try this place before my next show at The Paramount. Great to have a good dining option in this area.

Food was decent... I ordered Pad See-Ew for delivery but there was not a piece of brocolli to be found in the dish (despite being listed on the menu). With mixed emotions, I called back for a re-do. I got three little pieces. Thanks Citrus Thai.

I will never go here again! I work down the street from this place and have been here over 25 times. What usually happens is I find my own seat, they give me a menu, I order, they serve my food and water and I eat. Occasionally I'm asked how I'm doing, but about 75% of the time, I eat my food then leave. Sometimes someone yells from the back "thank you!" but most times they don't. My last time there, the same thing happened, I found my seat, ordered, was given my food and water and that was it. I was not happy about the woman sweeping all around my table while I was eating but whatever, I was enjoying my food. No one came to check up on me. They handed me my bill when they noticed I was close to being finished, I signed it and left. As I am walking down the street the waiter runs out and tells me I accidently took the signed copy of the receipt. I laughed and said "oh I'm sorry, I do that all the time". He looks at me and says. "your total does not include the tip". I said ok. He points to the total again and says "your total did not include the tip". I said I realize that. His tone changes and he begins to sound angry and says "your not going to tip me?" I said "no I'm not and I cant believe we are having this conversation". He says one more time angrily. "your not going to tip me?" while another man that works there stares at me up and down. I was heated! Were they serious! I have been here more then several times and about 80% of the time I leave a tip and no one has ever ran outside to hunt me down to thank me, but the time I don't leave a tip, I'm treated rudely and looked at like I did something wrong? I went back inside and told the manager what happened. I had to tell the worker that looked at my crazy to mind his business and let me talk to the manager. After explaining to her, she responds and says "I'm sorry, he is just use to most people tipping him, was there a problem with the food? If you didn't like the service you can just tell us so we can change that for you" I said "I did not have a problem with the service and the food was good, I just did not want to tip. I've tipped plenty of times and the fact that such a big deal is made this time that I don't is ridiculous. I am a regular customer that tips most of the time and they way I'm being treated right now is completely disrespectful. And what makes him think he deserves a tip. Did he come back and check on me while I was eating? No. Did he ask if I needed to order anything else? No. I'm free to not give a tip if a wish and I do not deserve to be treated with disrespect" For this I will never give my money to this company.

I was in Seattle for a three-day business thing. I was mauwing for Thai, so I found a food delivery website that suggested a nearby place called Citrus Thai. The menu was pretty standard, so I ordered my favorites: yellow curry, pad thai and thai rolls (salad rolls). It was affordable, arrived much quicker than promised and was delicious. Their salad rolls were divine, simply the best I ever had. So good that the next night, I ordered dinner from Citrus Thai AGAIN -- three orders of salad rolls. They were THAT good. So good that I've debated driving 165 miles to Seattle just for those damned salad rolls! Curse you, Citrus Thai, you have soured me for other salad rolls and ruined my life!

Went here for lunch and had the, rad na, 5 stars. The taste was great, but the spiciness was all over the place and the hottest this plate got was a 3 star, but only in certain areas of the dish. For example, my first couple of bites were no way near spicy, then I found a cache of hot pepper flakes under some noodles that amounted to about a 3 star. Definitely coming back, hopefully they've got the spice thing down by then.

Tasty! Dropped in to get takeout at noon without calling ahead, and they had my order ready in 5 min. 4 stars because the serving was a little small, and not as spicy as I'm used to.

I had been craving Thai food since I moved downtown. I stumbled across Citrus Thai and the food was great. Even better they noticed I was not a regular and asked if I was new to the area, and welcomed me to the area. After this experience I will be a regular.

Most fake thai food ever. Too greasy, too hot in the wrong way, hype. Too hot means they just add more red chillies(ground) if you ask for a hotter level. Nobody cooks like that. Your mom doesnt hand you a jar of chili flakes if you ask for spicy food. I ordered Panang curry, level 4 and felt sick the whole day. Try the thai food truck to eat authentic thai. This is trash.

This pad thai is the worst i have ever had in Seattle. I got delivery thru eat 24 and had no recourse to get it corrected. When I called I was treated rudely and basically told tough luck. You loose. DO NOT EVER EAT HERE

On my continuing hunt for to-die for Thai food in Seattle, I stopped by here for lunch with a fellow yelper. We were quickly seated when we arrived and water and menus were quick on our table. That's about where the "quick" part of this ends. The rest of the service through lunch was a bit lackluster. I forgot to order my Thai Iced Tea (mostly because when I ordered food nobody asked if I wanted a drink) and it took a while to catch someone to be able to ask for it. After perusing the menu, I decided to go with the Pad Thai with chicken, 3 stars. The Pad Thai itself was pretty good, but some bites were way more spicy than others. I would have preferred a bit more consistency to the spice. I thought about a lunch combo but there are no substitutions allowed and I didn't necessarily want a veggie dish. The Thai Iced Tea was delicious, but I find that hard to mess up. It took us forever to get our check and that was frustrating, but once we had it they returned our cards pretty quick. Overall, it's a good place to swing in but I'm not sure I'd travel far to get here.

Living right by Citrus Thai is one of Aspira's perks. Whenever the fridge is empty or I'm too tired to cook, Citrus Thai has some of the tastiest food. I won't claim that it is the most authentic Thai cuisine around, but it is damn tasty, and if you ask for 5* spicy, it will be spicy. I personally like a bit more, but I'm also a freak when it comes to hotness levels. Favorites of mine are the Rad Na and the Drunken Noodle. The food is usually ready in 15minutes max, much less at busy times (go figure). The prices are just where I'd expect them to be for fast Asian food in Seattle. And the staff is friendly. I've never actually eaten in the restaurant, so I can't say much about that experience. 4 stars because I've had better, but very rarely at this price level.

Friendly, fast and surprisingly delicious!!! It's easy to overlook this hidden gem due to its location, but every time I step in for dinner, my boyfriend and I eat every last drop(if we can, the portions are huge!). I always order the Tom Kah soup, the beef salad(amazing) and one of their curries. But the beef salad, my goodness. It has to be one of my favorite beef salads in the city. I give this place 5 whole stars because j think they deserve it, they are an unpretentious and flavorful restaurant with hard working people serving up wholesome Thai cuisine.

Not at all impressed with the food quality, overall bland for all 4 dishes ordered, rice was dry as well. The service was okay but we were the only table there during dinner time service. The best thing was the thai iced tea.

This is my go to thai delivery place. Their food is consistant and tasty. I usually get the yellow curry and it never dissapoints. Delivery is so fast and always fresh. Only wish they were open later.

The restaurant is a sister of the Belltown thai restaurant under a similar name. It opened in mid-December 2009 in the old, but freshly renovated pizza location (the pizza place is now next door). I work down the road so I tried this place for lunch. This area is in need of a good thai place and this place is certainly above the average...but still has some kinks... perhaps new kinks that can be worked out? All lunch items come with soup. So when you sit down for lunch a cup of soup is brought to your table - not sure what it was as nobody told me but I think it is a mixture of vegetables, tofu and egg drop soup? Not certain so when you go, ask. The service was speedy for sure. In and out in less than an hour. The food was good. Not bad, not superb - average. My issue was with the spicy-ness. They ask you (like all thai places) how spicy do you want your food - I say not spicy at all... and in fact, what I got was a REALLY spicy combo order of pad thai and cashew chicken. Now it was good - but way too spicy. I'll try it again and if they can't get their spicy-ness worked out, I may reconsider. Otherwise, it is worth the price.

Great place. The food was amazing. The service very friendly. The taste is rich and not greasy. The panang curry had tons of meat and vegetables. I can recommend this place if you are a Thai lover.

This place is above average Thai and very reasonable priced. My wife and I tried the Pad Thai...tofu for her and pork for me. It was pretty tasty and all, but, I would say that I have had better in the Seattle area for the same price range. The flavor struck me as almost being a little bit too sweet and not quite spice enough...so next time I would ask for hot instead of medium. The price range is similar to Mae Phim, but, I would say that Mae Phim in the downtown area is a little bit better quality for the price.

food was not very good and delivery took an hour and a half, 30 min longer than expected. none of the food was good, but the cucumber salad was the worst, it literally had no cucumbers, just a few onions floating in that vinegar sauce.

I'm sad to say that though I've had decent meals here in the past, most recently the experience was pretty poor. Ordered Phad See-ew which was decent (pretty standard and hard to screw up) but the citris chicken was just horrible - the chicken tasted freezer burnt, a lot of the chicken was basically just breading with a tiny bit of meat in it, and the sauce was basically just sugar. I actually have had decent meals here during lunch a few years ago, so maybe it was just a bad night but I wouldn't go back again now.

Interesting little place in a somewhat strange location on the edge of downtown. On the weeknight I stopped in for dinner it was apparent their business is mostly take-out and delivery, as it was empty except for staff, but the kitchen kept very busy. The server was friendly and very attentive. The food was alright; not bad but not great. I've had much tastier Thai at other places in the city. The flavors in the Pad Se Ew didn't quite measure up and the sauce was a bit too thick. In a pinch, it'd make for decent Thai take out if you're in the neighborhood, but not something to go out of the way for.

Absolutely disgusting food. I can't believe this place has so many decent reviews. Though it's true that the service was cheerful and timely, the dish was VILE, REPUGNANT, OFFENSIVE. We decided to split the Thai BBQ chicken. It was advertised as "chicken simmered in curry spice and coconut milk, over seasonal vegetables with sticky rice and papaya." What it was was 3 chicken breasts--2 so overcooked that I had to rip it apart like rustic bread, and the other was doughy and seemed to be full of marrow. I suspect both were cooked in a microwave on different days. None had any flavor, all were yellow. The seasonal vegetables were previously frozen cauliflower, cabbage, and carrot slices. The sticky rice had clearly been in a fridge somewhere for at least a week, it was discolored and we literally cut it with a knife. The papaya was completely absent, but there was an overly spicy and bizarre cole slaw-esque salad. You'll have to excuse me, I think I have food poisoning.

my gloriously lazy sunday evenings are spent lounging on my comfy couch with the cutest kitty in the world watching anthony bourdain while my boyfriend slaves away in the kitchen. keke. when i feel like letting the boyfriend take a break, i order delivery from citrus thai. pre-boyfriend, i lived two years in seattle as a culinarily challenged single person and as a result have ordered a lot of delivery, none of them better than mediocre. since discovering citrus thai, i rarely order delivery from other asian restaurants. i can vouch for the following dishes: - pad see ew with beef - my favorite thai noodle dish and very well done here. this dish is often bland and mushy at other places. $9.95 - pad kee mao (drunken noodles) - a wide noodle dish with lots of veggies. $9.95 - red curry with chicken - really flavorful and they're not stingy with the chicken. portion is big enough that you should order two orders of rice. $9.95 - tom yum with tofu - this soup has replaced pho as my favorite hangover cure. $8 and the best part. spice masochists, rejoice! REAL SPICY STARS. since so many people get their panties bunched over MSG, let me inform you that their website states there is absolutely no MSG in their food. i sprinkle that shit in my morning coffee. mm mm*. they do, however, use a shit ton of salt. my fingers are like sausages from my sodium-laden meal last night. small price to pay for nommy thai food delivered to my door. oh, and the cutest thing. they spell my name JASCICA on the receipt. FREE DELIVERY over $20 * guardian.co.uk/lifeandst… - UPDATE 02/05/2011 - Taking away a star because the food has been increasingly greasy, especially the noodle dishes.

I have to try yellow curry at every thai joint that I go to in order to really know how I feel about a place. This place rated pretty well! The curry could have been a little creamier/thicker and the pieces of chicken a little less chinsy but overall great taste. They don't have some of the great perks that most neighborhood thai restaurants have, for example: friendly wait staff, huge portions or free rice to go if you have curry leftover, but when you're downtown and on a 60 minute lunch break you take what you can get!

Great lunch spot. Big menu for lunch and reasonably priced. The dinner menu is also excellent. This place is constantly busy but you wouldn't know it because the staff here is so quick, friendly and attentive.

Thai-riffic! This place was suggested to me by an employee of 24 hour fitness (Yale Ave). It was only a few blocks away from the gym and since I was about two hours ahead of schedule I decided to treat myself to a meal. It was pretty empty when I arrived but that might of had something to do with the fact that it was after lunch hour. I was greeted immediately by a very friendly waitress and ordered my usual go-to of pad thai. The food came out in less time that it took me to log onto Yelp and check myself in. It was hot, fresh and tasted fantastic! The portion was huge and since I was planning on working out in a few hours I only ate about half. While I was there I noticed two other parties come in and they were served their meals very quickly as well. As far as seating, I would only suggest a small party and kids are certainly welcomed (one couple had their sleeping baby). Parking could be a little tricky because they do not have their own lot. Restroom is unisex and kept very clean. This will not be this fat girls last time that is for sure!

It's sort of an awkward part of the city; not quite Belltown, just short of Capitol Hill and a bit up from South Lake Union. Yet a few businesses seem to thrive in this area and Citrus Thai is one of them. I suppose they must cater to the downtown workers swinging by on their 15 minute lunch breaks. This would seem to be true since they are lightning fast: you sit down and a menu appears, you order a dish and the waiter turns around and gives it to you, you start to order the check and they hand it to you. It's the place for a sit-down meal where you don't have time to sit down. That being said, if you do have a few moments, they have a few nice tables with the front wall entirely filled with windows. Not that the scene on Howell is all that exciting, but if you're stuck in your Dilbertesque cubicle, it may be a nice change. The food is usually reliable too and a bit on the spicy side. Personally, I'm pretty easy and usually pick the chicken Pad Thai with a 2 spiciness. They rank the spiciness from 1 (not that spicy) to 5 (ouch). It seems that 1 is not that spicy, 2 is mild, 3 starts you to sweat, 4 you need bread now and with 5 you may walk out into on-coming traffic to stop the pain.

Frigid Seattle weather calls for three kinds of food: noodle/ramen soups (no pho), Korean soondoobu, and Thai curry. Came here after doing some searches on Yelp and I have to say I'm quite glad I went here! I must agree with a reviewer below the restaurant is located in a real odd part of the city and if you are travelling north on Olive Way it's easy to miss and end up on the freeway or driving in circles! Ambiance is nice and clean considering where it's located, and I think Citrus Thai is the only Thai restaurant I know of that plays classical music as opposed to Thai music or music by SE Asians. Takes a bit of getting used to I guess. Nice to have many options. Friends ordered the Tom Yum noodle soup while I followed many other reviews and got the roast duck curry. Yum. Very flavorful and there were enough pieces of meat to make me happy. My one complaint is that I wish they kept the skin on! I'm the kind of gal who enjoys crispy duck skin mmmm.... I think I'll be back, it's really not that far and the prices aren't that much different from the usual Thai spots I visit. I suggest going in the evening and when the weather is cruddy and not many cars are out to get a parking spot closer to the restaurant.

Seattle is my hometown. I broke the cardinal rule of eating cuisines that are by definition "ethinic". As an example: for a great Russian dining experience, dine at a restaurant that has Russian patrons seated for dining as well as non-Russian. Your cuisine experience is more likely to be authentic and true. This cardinal rule is Seattle-specific. I ordered the swimming noodle dish, but did expect it to be resting in oil; soaking up the oil with the napkin provided (correction: cocktail napkin) I could then apply the Peanut Sauce provide on the side (4 stars for just the peanut sauce alone). I have never had Thai Food so bland for a request of it to be 3 stars. I will commute from the Eastside to Lynnwood, Wa for Thai before I ever step foot in this "dummed down" version of Thai.

I enjoyed Citrus Thai. It is easy walking distance from the Hyatt Olive 8 and I actually went here twice during the week. Had Pad Thai with Shrimp ($11) and of the soups ($8) on 1st trip and Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle) w/ beef ($9) and another soup ($8) the 2nd visit. I thought all of it was tasty. I got the food to-go, but the dining area at the restaurant was very pleasant. The portions are generous. That worked out well for me as I ate dinner and then had enough left over for a late night snack. If I'm in the neighborhood again, I wouldn't hestitate to grab another meal there.

I've walked by a million times! Glad I finally stopped to give it a try! The decor is great. Location is a little out of the way, but I'll be back for sure. Had the Pad Thai chicken, very good. And the spicy eggplant, even better. They were quick, and I walked in late when they were about to wrap things up for the day and no one else was there.

We love this place! Granted almost exclusively for takeout, but the food is fast, fresh, and large portions. My husband and I have eaten almost their entire menu, everything is really good. Can be spicy, but not if you don't want it. Lunch specials are a good deal.

I was debating giving this place three or four stars and after finishing my two-day leftovers about five minutes ago, I went with four. We came here on a work lunch, and I had the Combo #3. First off, I think it's awesome that a thai place has combos for such a reasonable price. It was $9.95 for a green curry and pad thai plate. So I figure that my portions would be a little bit smaller, but they weren't. The portions were pretty huge! My curry bowl was the same size as someone else's who only ordered the curry. So I pretty much just ate the curry for lunch, and kept the pad thai to eat later. I didn't want to totally engorge myself. :P Oh and I guess I should talk about the food itself - everything was yummy. :) The only tiny bit I didn't like was that I am not a spicy food eater, and the curry was a little too spicy for my taste buds, but that can't be helped sometimes. I also wish it was closer to town, but I doubt that can't be helped either.

Went here on a Wed night near closing time while visiting Seattle with family. Server was very attentive and food was amazing! Seriously better than local Chicago places. Had the Tom yum soup, citrus chicken, pad kee mao, ginger chicken and red curry. Definitely recommend the soup and citrus chicken..both very good. Pad kee mao noodles had so much flavor as well- the best pad kee Mao I've had so far. Saw a lot of people going in and out for pick up orders. I'd definitely recommend the place for Thai if your visiting the area

Oh how I love thee... Finding Citrus Thai the other night was a dream come true. The restaurant was not overstated and felt very comfortable. The service was excellent and fast. But most importantly the food was OUTSTANDING! The pork/ lime salad was amazing and the chicken coconut curry noodle dish was one of the best I have ever had. Citrus Thai is a must for all those who love good (great) Thai food. If I could give "10" stars I would actually give Citrus Thai an "11". You will NOT be disappointed! I will definitely be back again and again and again!!!!

There isn't much for Asian food here in SLU, so I'm glad this place is in walking distance from work. My co-workers and I have been here a few times and have not been disappointed. Though a bit busy during lunch, they have a fantastic lunch menu with reasonable prices. The service is pretty quick and they can accommodate for large groups.

  • Arica S.

It was good. I wish their portions were a little larger at least with the Rad Na which was yummy but the portion was small. The kee mao (sp?) was delicious very savory and had lots of basil. And the pad thai was made with fish sauce not that tomato-vinigar-catsupy crap the cheap places do. When discussing this place with friends last night we concluded that it good but instead of getting spicy-flavorful it tends to just get just spicy-hot. I'm eager to try their lunch combo plates but that will have to wait until another time.

Decided to get takeout last night. And who doesn't love Thai food? The staff was very friendly. The food was good, different than Thai in the area, but still good. I'm looking forward to the left overs tonight. We got two stars, but it was quite spicy, tasted more like 4 stars! They have free delivery on the hill and downtown, so we'll defiantly be getting it again! Yeah for a new tasty Thai place!

Food is awesome, and they deliver to the Cosmo! The chicken satay is a bit dry, but the sauce is good and rich. No complaints about the duck curry. You must try the deep fried potato dumpling appetizer. If you like fish, they have a deep fried fish covered with green mango and all sorts of other yummy healthy veggies. The first time I went there (opening night, apparently), the service was quick, but not so accurate, but I'm sure it was because they hadn't found their groove yet. This is definitely one place I'll be coming back to.

I'm no expert on Pad Thai, but what I had from Citrus Thai was some of the best I had. This is a great addition to the neighborhood where I work. Lunch prices are reasonable and service is quick. It's very small, though, so during lunch it gets very crowed. I recommend calling in your order ahead so it's ready for you to pick up when you arrive.

I wish there was an option for NO STARS!!! This place is awful! I love Thai food and I work across the street, so I wanted to like this place. After my 1st bad experience, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and gave them a 2nd chance. I really regret ever giving this place my business. Not horrible food, but there is way better Thai food. The SERVICE IS SLOW, RUDE AND UNACCEPTABLE!!!! Most people in this area would be on their lunch break and time is of the essence. They don't refill your water. The food takes forever to come out. I asked for my food to go and when they took it to box it up, I asked about it 20 mins later and they said it was coming?!?! WHAT?! Well, it was very hot when it came out, so they obviously threw it away and remade a tiny portion and did not apologize or acknowledge it. I asked for my rice and they brought it out in that super tiny clear solo cup that should be for dipping sauce, not the rice I had left over. What a joke!

I'd eaten here on several occasions and it was lovely and tasty. However, the last time I was there I decided to try the curry and I got food poisoning. Bad. I'm upgrading this place - several of us had a lunch and I had the drunken noodles (AKA pad kee mao) - and it was excellent. So, okay, maybe I got some "bad curry" last time - I'm still not convinced this merits more than three stars, but they definitely deserve an upgrade.

best thai i've had in a long time. (i live in nola where good thai doesn't exist.) the restaurant was relatively empty on a monday night so i was able to choose where i wanted to sit. the owner/host (i'm guessing) was friendly, and we briefly chatted. he gave me the menu and told me to take my time. i knew that i wanted green curry, but i looked over the menu anyway. there are a lot of standard dishes, and all were at a reasonable price. once i placed my order, it only took about 5 minutes to receive my food. talk about fast service! the green curry was thick and moderately spiced...enough heat to make my nose run a little but not enough to make me grab my water after every bite. the chicken was lean and not overcooked. there were a few vegetables of which the eggplant was the standout. the portion of jasmine rice served with my curry was plenty. i was well sated after the meal and ended up paying about 13 usd (which included a two dollar tip.)

Sadly knocking the rating down--most recent curry not wonderful enough to keep the stars high when the rest was previously mediocre-at-best and a major disappointment is that despite me KNOWING they have these awesome "pactiv" brand tight-sealing containers more than able to hold it, they refuse to sell larger quantities of anything, meaning if you want a gallon of the tea, you have to order 14 (each 12oz container is only ever 80% full and they are SO MESSY!) and deal with the waste, the mess, the irritation when they could seriously just... fill 2 64oz or 4 32oz containers, the ones they delivered my FOOD in last time. BOO HISS ON YOU. The main bit that really annoyed me is that despite me calling basically when 98% of business was long gone (8:40 when they close at 9), they only told me they only sold by the glass AFTER saying they WOULD, YES, sell me a gallon... so of course in me ordering and asking how much that "yes we do" gallon would cost... "we don't sell..." So yeah, my "That's why I asked if you did and only ordered after you said yes we do" came a "nevermind" and with that... guys, you just lost quick $40+ orders from a serious consumer of Thai food... I'd never order tea from anywhere had hired labor, name unsaid to protect her from the venomous yelp karma snakes, not killed my industrial coffee maker in deciding to not tear down boxes we were unpacking but instead get fascinated with plugging in everything--the maker must have H2O in it before it can be plugged in or its burner--which heats the water to just below boiling before the final fast burst through the grounds--will indeed die. It did indeed die. Til I get $160 in spare change to fix her error, I must either deal cup by cup--a pain in the ass for Thai tea as I grind my own spices to make it pyurlee poifekt--or buy it retail at ludicrous prices. Citrus Thai lost my love by not working out a deal to deliver in more secure, eco-friendly (not to mention reusable, unlike those icky wax-coated paper cups!) containers they have thousands of AND by screwing with my favorite dish. BOO. I feel sorry for the guy who reliably got $7-10 tips from me. Sorry, kid, back to feeding people who think $2 is a-ok.

Echoing most of the other reviews for Citrus Thai, they're a decent fix if you're in the mood for some Thai food, but nothing exciting. The golden noodles and pad thai are pretty tasty.

Great addition to the neighborhood. Since they remodeled that building (Romio's got a serious face lift!) it's a nice place to run for lunch or later snack. It's not very big and can get crowded during the prime lunch hours, but the menue is very reasonably priced, wait service is great and the portions are healthy. I had the yellow chick curry at 4 stars spicy and it was really fantastic.

We live nearby so come here 1-2 times a week and have tried many things. good, tasty, fresh, food, great prices and awesome service! Not sure where some of the other reviewers were coming from? Some of the best curries ever!

I find thier curries to be tasty and of great value, but find their main dishes to be highly questionable: unapetizing, or oily, or overcooked, or clearly not fresh.

While staying in temporary housing, I decided to try this place out and was pleasantly surprised. The server was very knowledgeable and their papaya salad was excellent. I appreciate a Thai place that properly knows how to spice dishes without making assumptions of how much a non-Thai person can handle. The décor is nice once inside and this would make a lovely, quiet date place before attending a Paramount Theatre performance.

Living right downtown, finally we have an authentic thai restaurant we can walk to! This place is fantastic. Super cozy, always warm and friendly service. We've been there several times and had it delivered also, the food is delicious. We can't seem to get away from our usual, the Roast Duck Curry and the Deep Fried Trout with the Mango Sauce (more like a mango/papaya salad) It's the only place you'll get it this good. Huge portions, great prices, Citrus Thai is like a big wam hug whenever you go :)

I got the pad thai with chicken, and the portion was huge. I could've eaten that for lunch and dinner, buttttttt I didn't. I was already full half-way through, but it was so good I just finished the entire thing. Staff was really friendly, and it didn't take long for them to bring out our orders, but that's probably because I went in on a Sunday for lunch, and it was pretty empty.

Excellent food. Must try Ginger fried rice - delicious! Enjoyed the fried tofu appetizer with sweet chili sauce, basil chicken and jungle beef. Good service too.

This place is awesome. The staff is very friendly, free delivery in the area AND THEY'RE OPEN ON SUNDAYS! I've only been here once but I have a feeling this place will be some what of a frequent stop... Curry was pretty spicy even for a 3/5 star... maybe I was being extra whimpy? Pad Thai and Pad See Ew were both very yummy.

Had lunch here with a friend from work several weeks ago. The food was great and I enjoyed the light, friendly ambiance. The restaurant has large windows in front that let lots of sunshine in. It's great in February, but I can see that it might be uncomfortable in the warm months. Citrus is a bit on the small side, so I wouldn't bring a big crowd here, but its a great spot for lunch if you're by yourself or with a friend or two.

A nice place to visit if you work around the convention center. Overall a nice atmosphere, with a very urban look. The appearance didn't look very Thai. Drunken noodles were nicely flavored, with fresh vegetables and spiced appropriately. The soup appetizer was a little salty, and cold when it got to us.

We love Thai food and Citrus Thai is awesome-we would give it 5 stars but we have an at home favorite that is hard to beat...we got the fresh spring rolls, tum yum veggies, mixed veggies and a pork dish. I like spicy foods and the spice level was perfect. They also deliver too. We wish we'd find this place earlier, but will come back next time we are in Seattle!

This place is pretty yummy! I ordered for delivery the following: Fresh Thai Rolls for an appetizer, and the Red Curry (Level 1-2 spicy) and the Deep Fried Trout with Mango Sauce (Mild spicy) for entrees. (My eyes were bigger than my stomach.) The portions are huge! Definitely worth the money. Everything was really great! I read other reviews of the place and people are saying that Level 2+ is really spicy so I opted for the Level 1 and the Mild spicy, which was perfect for me since I like spicy but don't like it to overwhelm the flavors of the food. The fresh thai rolls tasted just as they are named - fresh. So did the mango sauce that went w/ the trout, which is an excellent combination because you've got deep fried fish and so the fresh mango sauce kind of offsets the heaviness of the fried fish. Very delicious. I have so much leftover that I will take it to lunch tomorrow. I would definitely order from them again next time I'm in town! P.S. I ordered on the phone from a guy named Alex and he was very friendly and helpful! Delivery guy was on-time as well.

5 stars is a lot to live up to, but this place does come close. It's really small inside, but they're great with take out. I've tried the red curry and have been very happy. The portions _look_ small, but are actually really filling.I'm super stoked there are more food options in this area!

delicious, genuine thai food. i asked for 5 star spicy and they gave it to me. terrific heat. i highly recommend their papaya salad, thai bbq chicken and pad khee mao. the owner was super friendly and prepped my food super promptly (less than 12 minutes for a 6 dish order).

So I'm in Seattle on business and had the craving for Thai food, where do I go? Yelp of course! Now while I had access to a rental car, I was up for a nice walk so I searched on yelp for a well reviewed Thai restaurant that was also in walking distance from my hotel. Bingo! So I was quite proud of myself exploring in an unfamiliar city by myself on foot (yeah Adrienne!). Ok, so I'll get to the food: I went real basic: Thai wings and Citrus Fried Rice and I wasn't disappointed, it was worth the walk and even getting caught in a little rainshower (which was unsurprisingly was no big deal to the locals since no one bothered with an umbrella). Wings had great flavor and the Citrus Fried Rice was delish. all in all a great meal - very happy with my find and I felt amply rewarded for my sense of adventure! :)

Citrus Thai was great! I'm picky and they made my basil rice with chicken perfectly. Tender, white meat chicken breast, not the tough, cheap thigh meat. My boyfriend is a Thai fiend and he said his drunken noodles were the best he's ever had. Portions are very large...I had lots of leftovers. Prices are reasonable. Very clean and pleasant place.

I just wanted a light snack, so I ordered green papaya salad - my test for a good Thai restaurant. The salad was fresh, crisp without being straight-from-the-fridge cold, and the dressing was complex, yet light enough to really work with the flavors of the food instead of drowning them. The peanuts on top of the salad were warm - they'd just been toasted, which was a lovely touch. I will definitely be back!
