Here's the deal with Bluebird. In my mind, it's the best ice cream in Seattle. The Capitol Hill location is the one closest to me, but it is an absolute dump. Coming to the Greenwood one the other night was a refreshing change. The big doors were open to the patio, and we lounged in the summer air on the chairs there. The unbearable heat and scattered broken refrigerators that clog up the Cap Hill location are gone. Oh, and in addition to ice cream, they have their own beer and soft drinks. My go-to ice creams are the Caffe Vitta coffee, which has bits of coffee grounds in it, and I think is better than Molly Moon's. Next up is the chocolate pudding which is rich and decadent. A great combo with the coffee ice cream. I also get the stout and the snickerdoodle. You really can't go wrong here. So 5 stars to the Greenwood store, and like 2-3 to the Cap Hill store because it needs to be gutted and redone.

Ok, so BlueBird Icecream makes a pretty darn good icecream, sourcing local ingredients that are premium (I refer here primarily to the THEO Chocolate, which is the main yummy in the Theo Chocolate Chunk icecream. The Theo folks understand both good chocolate and fairtrade, and in my book, that's key. Oh, and the taste is fabulous! In icecream or not! The chocolate scoop paired well with the Marionberry Icecream - another page from my book? You can't go wrong with chocolate and berries... The line might be a bit awkward as it winds out the door, and then you have to squeeze by the eager fans to actually leave the shop. Not a big deal, especially if you can find a seat, and watch the Phinney Ridge sidewalk activity. On this visit, there was some sweet art on sale, dubbed "Minimum Wage" - the artist was asking for $13.00 per piece for some small, lovely photographs on wood. Would I go back? Yep, make that a yes!

Great Ice cream and the fresh Waffle cones are the best. I had the chocolate pudding ice cream, it was amazing. Maybe I'll go back and try some of their beers. I'll definitely go back for their ice cream.

They pack PINTS!! For $6/pint I think? Loved the vegan chocolate chip mint as I am lactose intolerant. I'm very interested in trying the vegan chocolate if it isn't sold out during my next visit.

Hmmmm. This place's popularity baffles me. Sure, it's decent ice cream. But what's with all the rave reviews? I ended up trying three flavors before settling on the honey crunch. Given the plethora of interesting options on the menu I was ultimately disappointed in the lack of strong flavors. The ice cream was very soft when served which only made it melt extra quickly. And although the woman working behind the counter was nice she seemed swamped! I'd give Bluebird another shot but as of yet I'm unimpressed.

Best ice cream in Seattle, hands down. Molly Moon's is too sweet and some of the flavors are just weird and off tasting. Full Tilt has too many fillers--tastes a little too gooey and gummy. Try Bluebird's peanut butter and chocolate pudding. Both are awesome. I love how the chocolate pudding tastes like a 10x better fudgesicle in ice cream form. Also, get any of the seasonal berry flavors--you won't regret it.

Their chocolate pudding ice cream is as if heaven itself gave you a french kiss. Bluebird used to run out of my favorite flavors all the time, but something must have changed because their freezers are well-stocked with goodness these days! Last Friday's line was epic, but it moves fast - the lone scooper was working like I have never seen a person in food service work before. By the time I got to the front she had probably run half a mile behind that counter and yet she was calm, sweet and had her blue eyes a-twinkling. There wasn't a hint of judgement when i asked for four tastes, eirher! If only you had more beer options and kid's scoops, Bluebird - then you'd be perfect!

This is the kind of place you want to root for. Perched on a corner in a sweet little neighborhood business district. On sunny days they are one of several shops that throw their garage-style front door open for quasi/outdoor seating. Their frozen treats are studded with local faves like vita coffee, theo chocolate, and cb peanuts. At the holidays, they partner with the pie shop up the street for frozen holiday pies. It's everything I love about Seattle x^10. I hesitate a bit here because everyone who works here is really, really, nice. But these guys have absolutely failed to figure out how to efficiently run this shop. 93% of the time whoever is working behind the counter is dying in the weeds. Exhausted by the relentless crowds. There seems to be this weird culture where, at shift change, the relief scooper shows up and the person leaving abandons them with a gleeful, "good luck dude, you're pretty much effed" followed by a flounce out the door. On a recent visit the pot of hot fudge was empty. The cones were burning. The scooper tried to get the can of fudge open, only to find the only can opener wasn't working. Meanwhile, the crowd stretched out the door and had started to turn the corner around the block. Several folks in line took pity on the poor scooper and tried to help open the can, to no avail. Normally you'd rightly be frustrated, as a customer, by the glacial speed of service... but, on this day, you'd have to be a psychopath not to simply feel bad for this poor girl who was clearly totally overwhelmed by scooping cones, making cones, ringing people up, etc. I think they'd sell a lot more ice cream if they solved this problem. Also- I really wish they had a kid size cone. The portions are ginormous.

Ice cream should be one of those indulgences which leaves you wondering how they got that bit of heaven on earth. Bluebird clearly has an art for doing this. I have been here several times and enjoy the variety and the uniqueness of their flavors. This time I sampled Theo's chocolate chunk and Caffe Vita in a homemade waffle cone and it was absolutely amazing. They also have handcrafted sodas and micro brewed beers. I enjoy seeing the children covered with ice cream and enjoying every bite. this time there was a sign out front looking for help wanted for an ice cream maker. devouring my phone I was so very very very tempted to apply. I envy the person who gets the job.

I take National Ice Cream Day very seriously, so of course we had to observe it by celebrating at a local ice creamery. Molly Moon's is usually my go-to but I wanted to try something new. Enter Bluebird! I enjoy the Greenwood/phinney neighborhood so was excited to come here and try. They also have the interesting artisanal flavors - I was sad to find they were out of the peanut butter one tho :( so I got half marionberry and half caffe vita (coffee). It was good for sure, but I think I still prefer MM's stumptown coffee ice cream (bigger bits of coffee beans in there). Texturally, MM's is much creamier, whereas Bluebird is a little icier. I like both but some have a preference for one over the other. Note the cones here also smell just as delicious as MM's but it's smaller and thinner. Finally, there was no a/c at Bluebird - felt bad for the dude working there. I hope he gets to eat free ice cream all day long... I still favor MM's over Bluebird BUT Bluebird is a solid alternative and delicious. Plus they do have alcoholic beverages for those who are looking for something a little more than just ice cream :).

I LOVE BLUEBIRD. This place is probably one of my favorite ice cream shops in Seattle! Came here with some friends after dinner because we were craving ice cream. I love that Bluebird's ice cream is smooth and creamy, yet not too heavy. The lightness of it was very refreshing, opposed to how other ice creams make me feel a little sick and bloated. I got the Caffé Vita flavor, which is this amazing coffee flavor that was SO GOOD. My friend got the Caffé Vita as well, along with a peanut butter flavor. I don't normally like peanut butter, but I decided to try some of his, and it was so authentic and peanut-y! Like, it didn't taste all artificial like other peanut butter flavored things; it tasted like peanuts were roasting in my mouth. Bluebird also has beer floats on their menu! My other friend got one with the Caffé Vita flavor ice cream and Theo chocolate milk stout beer, and he pretty much had a foodgasm and was making out with the cup because of all its creamy beer-and-ice-cream-goodness. While placing all our orders, the line tripled in size out the door, and the menu even had sold-out flavors! I wish I could have tried every flavor they offered, but I guess I just have to wait for the next time I'm back in Seattle!

We came on a Friday night and the place was hopping. Thankfully not a huge disgustingly long line like Molly Moons. We were able to try several flavors, as this was our first time, and the ladies scooping our ice cream were very nice. If they were wearing name tags I could give them a shoutout. Pros: - location: close to everything but not in the middle of everything; reminded me how much I love Greenwood/Phinney - easy to read chalk board that lists all the flavors, and whether they are out or not - flavors are AWESOME! We sampled many but I ended up getting the vanilla with chocolate pudding topped with rainbow sprinkles; they have a good vanilla, but it's a little sweet; their salted caramel is more of like a sweet and salty caramel ice cream vs tasting like salted caramel, doesn't hold a torch to Molly Moons flavor; they use Theo chocolate in their flavors which I am always happy to see; they sell out quick of their snicker doodle ice cream so go early to get that flavor, and BONUS it has no gluten in it despite its name ;) - many gluten free flavors and the girls working were familiar with which ones were and weren't Cons: - no trash can outside: we had to walk inside and navigate through all the other waiting and eating customers to throw away our finished ice cream cups - price: my friends and I all got split scoops, which is the perfect amount of ice cream for the average adult that wants to enjoy ice cream w/o the sugar rush, BUT it was 50 cents more to do this, which seemed strange; prices for toppings seems unfair too, I think a dollar per each - the way they clean their ice cream scoops: one watery gross can with all their ice cream scoops dipped into it. Seriously? That's so 1990s way to do it. And like you're supposed to change the water when it gets all ice cream murky. Very gross to see happen in front of you. Also, If you are seriously gluten allergic (I am not) then you won't be able to get ice cream here, or if you're allergic to any other ingredient. - chocolate fudge sauce was NOT good; flavorless, thick and goopy, and definitely was not homemade; but if that kind of thing is your thing you will be happy bc they gave my friend a lot of it on her ice cream Overall: I'll be back to try some other flavors. The ice cream was delicious and had a great texture. Creamy, but not too much so, and not icy. Take your friends with you on a hot summer day and enjoy :)

I heard that Bluebird served Horchata Ice Cream so I made it a point to come out here to try it out. I came in for the Horchata but I left with Snickerdoodle. Sounds like a romance story gone bad, but let me tell you why I ended up with Snickerdoodle. I came in all excited with the thought of how creamy and delicious Horchata was going to taste, but it fell terribly short. It wasn't creamy, it wasn't smooth and rich. It was actually kind of tart and tasted nothing like Horchata. I. was. catfished! Perhaps it's because it's vegan and made with coconut milk instead. It just wasn't the same. (nothing wrong with vegan) Then I tried the intriguing flavor of Snickerdoodle and this tasted more like how I envisioned Horchata to taste like. It was smooth, creamy, and packed with cinnamon flavor. Oh how my taste buds danced! It was a match that was destined to be. So in the end I left with Snickerdoodle and not Horchata. The End. Prices are reasonable, the storefront is small, cozy, and very cute. It has a lot of vintage/antique furnishings that give this place a unique vibe. The line was out the door and curving around the corner when I left. This place seems very popular and I am excited to come back and try more flavors!!

Bluebird's salted caramel doesn't even come close to MM's, with some weird aftertaste. It wasn't salty enough and was way too sweet. The others were alright. The snickerdoodle and coffee flavors were just right. Also, they charge for a split scoop, whereas MM's doesn't. I am always in the search for ice cream places that can beat the super-hyped MM but this isn't one of those places.

Many of my fellow yelpers seem to have left out one of the best parts of this particular Bluebird: the beer! Yes, of course, the ice cream is fantastic and entirely worth the wait (shorter lines in winter believe it or not), and if they have it, go for either the caffe vita or Elysian stout ice creams-- both are amazing. But the brewed-on-site beer is pretty tasty as well. They typically only have 2-3 available at a time, but with growler fills for only $12.00 and the option to taste all of them, it's really hard to beat. We tried (and purchased) the oatmeal stout this winter and it was (dare I say) just as good if not better than Ninkasi's Oatis. So ice cream and beer in one stop? Say no more...

From what I gathered online before heading to Bluebird, it seemed like the shop had quite a few unique flavors; however, the selection turned out to be pretty basic. All the ice creams that I tried were too sweet for my taste, and not very creamy. The salted caramel didn't have a distinctive caramel flavor, and the caffé vita was icy and not strong at all. However, the theo's chocolate was solid (if unexciting), the vegan coconut brownie was surprisingly excellent, and the shop's location is adorable. Unless you're vegan or have a desperate need for ice cream on your way to one of the nearby coffee shops or Phinney Books (highly recommend), you'd be much better off going to Molly Moon's or Parfait, which is more indie than MM's but has a better selection and quality than Bluebird.

Walked in without knowing what to expect. Immediately was struck by the delicious sounding flavors. I asked the ice cream man which, of 3 flavors i was struck by, I should select. He recommended the Mint/Oreo - Grasshopper I think. Wow.. Some of the best ice cream I've ever had. Served in a hot waffle cone. Damn. Get your ass here.

Um, yum! I bet it's hard to write bad reviews about I've cream in general, and this place is no exception! I haven't tried their specialty beers, just the ice cream. The cones are hand made and delicious, and the ice cream flavors are their concoctions - really good! The service can be a little slow because it's one person jumping around back there, but all should be forgiven with the patience they typically exude and the quaint little shop with a big garage door style window that opens up to the street/sidewalk. I recommend this place all the time to friends, family, and guests from out of town!

LOVE THIS! I walked in here on a fluke after HH with friends at Hecho next door. The girl working was awesome and let me try a couple different ice creams then helped me decide which ones to eat. The ice cream was creamy and sweet but not overly syrupy sweet. I had 1/2 Maple Hickory and 1/2 Snickerdoodle. So delicious, I will be back.

Bumping this up to five stars. I am a huge fan of their coconut milk-based vegan ice creams. I had the coconut mint chip the last time I came and it was light and refreshing. I'd definitely come here for more coconut ice creams. The brunette that works there is also very sweet and friendly. Though she was the only person working on a busy Friday night, she never seemed harried and worked people through the line quickly and efficiently. She doled out samples cheerfully and she honestly seemed to enjoy what she was doing. So yeah, I'll be back again. The wait is more manageable that Molly Moon's, staff is nicer, and ice cream is really nearly as good.

tried the Caffe Vita ice cream yesterday, exactly what I'm looking for in coffee ice cream. Not too sweet, not too creamy, and definitely tastes (and looks) like they used real espresso beans in the ice cream. Excellent choice for ice cream. Service took a little while but worth it if you're in the mood for ice cream.

I went with four other people so I got to try three other flavors of the ice cream. You know how they say the grass is greener on the other side? My side was better. I had the famous snickerdoodle one. Everyone had pretty good ice cream as well but mine by far was the best. It had the cinnamon and sugar taste. No cookie pieces needed in this!!! Silky, smooth texture and rich in flavor. When the ice cream touches your tongue, you can taste the creaminess of what an ice cream is supposed to be. The place is small and quaint. Only one guy serving and checking us out and making the waffles. He still managed to be kind and grateful. I will make another trip to this place when I come to Seattle again!!! Btw, there are other unique flavors to try that I will try again!

I ran in just before they closed late on a Saturday night. I needed something sweet before making my home in the Hostel next door. The girl behind the counter, who I am sure was ready to close, was very kind and even changed the radio for me when I mentioned I didn't like Christmas music. We had nice conversation as she didn't mind staying a little late to let me enjoy my delicious cup It was the GREAT chocolate ice cream & coconut chocolate mint ice cream. The amount was perfect. YOU WON'T REGRET EATING THIS ICE CREAM. & If the place isn't too busy it is a last to sit at the counter and enjoy.

Definitely like Bluebird better than Molly Moon's! There is more flavor variety and they are pretty decent tasting. It's a bummer though that most evenings, there are several things out of stock including the elusive stout ice cream which I have yet to taste because it's always sold out!

As someone who's lactose intolerant, my dairy choices become very important. I've always been a bit stubborn and believed that a little ice cream never hurt anyone. Okay, not true in my case but I continue to make an exception for Bluebird. My mind is blown by the quality of the ice cream. My favorite is Cafe Vita, followed closely by Theo Chocolate, and rounded out by Horchata. I've seen others discuss the fact that the ice cream comes from Capitol Hill and hasn't been fresh. That hasn't been my experience but it may just be the luck of the draw. I haven't tried any of the brews so I feel unqualified to comment on those. The space itself is comforting but small. There are just a handful of tables (3 tables) and a bar. Even last week, when it was mildly warm in Seattle, the line at Bluebird was out the door. Of all the times I've been to this location, there have only been two occasions that I was able to stay and have a seat with my 3-person family. All of the other times, we've had to leave because of lack of space. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and patient. Parking is terrible.

I have been meaning to come to Bluebird for a while now but it seems like I am never there in the area when they are open. The place is a microcreamery and a microbrewery. At first glance it may seen weird and unusual but I suppose it makes sense. One thing for sure is that Bluebird's hours is definitely brewery hours and not exactly ice cream shop hours. But that is ok! It is worth the wait to come in the afternoon at 3pm! They have a fairly small beer list. They have one or two guest taps and a few of their own. Nearly all of their own beer was sold out. There was a milk chocolate stout that looked really good but it was gone. I got a wheat beer that they made called the Weedwacker. The beer had a great taste and goes down easy. They make sure that you get a nice cold one so the glass comes cold too. Be careful, it is slick so don't let it fall out of your hands! The tables are a little awkward for beer drinking. Sure, they are sturdy enough but it is easy for a clumsy knee to hit the base of the table and you got got a little beer spillage going on. Alcohol abuse if you ask me. No mishaps happened with my beer but they are things to be aware of. You may thank me later. So I got one thing that Bluebird was known for which was the brewery aspect. It was time to get some ice cream and try out their other aspect. I heard that the Elysian Stout ice cream was good and so I went ahead and got that. I was not let down! The ice cream tasted great! So smooth and the chocolate part was amazing. What more can I say? I would love to come back here and indulge in more beer and ice cream. The sooner the better!!

The vanilla bean and chocolate pudding with rainbow sprinkles. YES! So good. Great friendly staff, too! The cones are shaped so that ice cream catches in the bottom and doesn't stop everywhere! Fantastic :)

My friends and I ended up here after a night of pizza and beer. I tasted the Peanut Butter & Snickerdoodle before deciding on which I wanted. AMBIANCE: Totally a quick stop ice cream shop. It had board games and a chalk board list of items they offer. Loved it! ICE CREAM: Obviously, the most important part. I personally had the Snickerdoodle and can I say, O.M.G. AMAZING!!! It had such a great flavor, it stayed perfectly stiff like ice cream should, had a fresh flavor and tasted - most importantly - real! My friends got the Theo Chocolate and said it too, was amazing. Their waffle cones are also made there. Keep in mind they are definitely thin cones, so don't get a firm grip or you will break that thing in half - but - they are delicious! I definitely plan to return here soon! Especially while it's still warm out. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic ice cream! Great local spot :-). There was only 1 person working, so it took a little longer waiting, but he was working really hard and was exceptionally polite and friendly, so between the excellent ice cream and the friendly service, definitely worth the wait, 5 stars from us!

  • Mindi A.

When we stopped in on the Washington Beer Open House, they only had 2 beers available on tap, which was disappointing. We tried their Theo Milk chocolate Stout and the oatmeal cookie ale. Definitely try the oatmeal cookie ale if you stop in. As for ice cream, they had 2 vegan options (which is a plus for me since I am lactose intolerant). The Horchata is super delicious, made from rice milk with cinnamon.

In the words of the beloved George takei, Oh My! I took my son here for some ice cream and was surprised by the quirky and awesome selection of dairy and non dairy ice creams. Their homemade waffle comes fill the air and you can't help but get one. I am definite going to be heading over more during the summer months. The only critique I have is for the help, the guy there was flipping in between songs on his iPod every 10 seconds which got annoying really quick and when I asked if he could stop he said no. Other than that we had a tasty experience

Quick update. Went back to Bluebird during business hours and the place was packed, line out the door. No matter, Matt B. and I petted a fellow customer's corgi puppy while Ashleigh B. toiled behind the counter to get everyone their ice cream. We ordered beer floats made with Theo chocolate milk stout and coffee ice cream. The stout is apparently brewed in-house with Theo chocolate, and it is pretty incredible. The coffee ice cream is a good scoop to mix in. This was a perfect treat for a hot afternoon. If you like ice cream and beer, Bluebird is a great place to indulge.

This ice cream is flat-out delicious. I would put it on par, if not slightly above, Molly Moon's. There is a good selection of 'normal' flavors as well as some more creative ones like a Milk Stout. I recommend Snickerdoodle in a waffle cone. You won't be sorry. The only downside? After trying their ice cream, it'll be pretty difficult to pass through Greenwood and not stop at Bluebird.

Best ice cream ever!!!! The cones baking is the best smell in the world. Definitely a must try... Promise you won't regret it.

It's tiny, but they offer unique and tasty ice creams. The Phinney Ridge location also serves beer! If only I had thought of this genius business idea earlier... I appreciate that they offer options for folks who don't do dairy. And adding waffle cone chips (free - and right on the counter) to a cup of ice cream is a perfect solution if you like waffle cones but don't want to deal with drips (I know - SUCH hard work).

My son and I have made Saturday Bluebird visits a tradition. The flavors are great, the split scoop is the way to go, and Chaz keeps the place rocking with good tunes and great service. The salted caramel is the best in Seattle (beats Full Tilt hands down!) and right now the flavor of the day is Maple Hickory which is da bomb.

They just started brewing their own beer a few weeks ago, and it seems like they might be the only ones around making beer and ice cream and not doing anything else. They're pretty good at both. You should check 'em out. This is a busy little section of Greenwood Avenue, with tons of businesses sitting right together. Bluebird has the corner spot right across from the 74th St Ale House. When you pull up, depending on how bright a day it is, it can be kinda tough to tell whether they're open. Inside, they have a charming space, with a tilted ceiling of exposed wood. There are a couple little tables made from old milk jugs, and one sideboard with a couple stools. Behind the counter, there are chalkboards listing all the pop flavors, beers, and ice creams. Their ice cream is really good; I love ice cream but I came in only for beer yesterday. I had the Theo Chocolate Milk Stout, which was sweet but not overly sweet, with a nice amount of body and not too much ABV. The service was friendly and the prices were fair. They serve the beer in jelly jars, which isn't as cute as it sounds, and they freeze the jelly jars before they serve, which isn't that cute, either. But the beer's good and it doesn't mess up the serving too much. I'd definitely come back.

This is a "shut up and take my money" type of establishment. Their product sells itself and customers will willingly wait in line for ice cream. Theo Chocolate Chunk and Vita Coffee flavors are a personal favorite. Pro tip: if too busy or out of ice cream at Greenwood location just drive to Fremont location as they aren't busy yet.

My husband, sister-in-law, and I ended up here after yet another failed attempt to visit the Space Travel Supply Store (are they ever open?). We decided that ice cream was the only thing that could cure our disappointment and Bluebird turned out to be the nearest one. I'm so glad it was because I LOVED it! The variety of flavors was interesting and I regret I didn't sample more of them. My husband and I split two scoops of chocolate pudding and salted caramel. The flavor is so good and I really loved the thick, creamy texture of the ice cream. The SiL got coconut mint chip and it was really good and refreshing; I'm not usually a fan of coconut but it worked so well in this ice cream that I actually liked it this time. In addition to being a micro-creamery they're a micro-brewery! We got a sampler of their beers and they were quite good; for my husband the standout was the Caffe Vita porter. They have old board games you can play if you'd like. The girl working here looked exactly like Carrie Brownstein and I felt like I'd been transported to Portlandia - which just made our experience here that much better. I really loved this place and hope to come back next time I'm up in Seattle.

Bluebird beats Molly Moons any day! I was here for the first time and got the chocolate pudding. It was so delicious. Just writing about it, is making my mouth water. The gal working was really friendly and let me try 3 different flavors. Will be back!

Love that this place is in my hood. Their ice cream is awesome, only complaint is they seem to be out of flavors quite often. Probably has to do with the fact there is always a line out the door! My personal fav is snicker doodle. The peanut butter is also delish and waffle cones are home made. What more could you want?!

Yes, the ice cream beer float was ridiculous, but I was more impressed by the girl behind the counter. She gracefully served samples, scooped ice cream, and poured beer all while interacting with customers. At one point the keg of Theo Chocolate Stout blew and got all over her shirt- so she gracefully took her outer shirt, served us samples, went back and changed the keg, and was back before we had finished deciding what we wanted to order. I was highly impressed. And again, the ice cream is ridiculous. And they have two coconut based flavors (Horchata and mint chocolate chip). I will be back next time I am in Seattle!

You have to make sure Bluebird doesn't charge you 2x especially if you give tip!!! because that's what they did. Instead of just charging for the additional tip, they charged for the ice creams again plus the tip. I couldn't get my issue resolved over the phone because no one answers during business hours and there's no voice mail. There's no way to get $ back at the store when I went there. I was given an email to contact. I emailed my concern, i got a call back and I never got my refund back. This was 2 months ago. I got a response to give them a call and give my CC number again?

Bluebird is in our neighborhood, which makes it dangerous. But delicious! The peanut butter & jelly combination is to die for, and if you're in the mood for something slightly naughty, get the stout float with a scoop of chocolate - YUM. Everyone we've encountered at Bluebird is friendly and helpful (they don't scowl if you ask for a taste of something, and they're good about suggesting flavor combinations), which just makes you love them even more.

Only one associate working which makes the wait ridiculously long. Also, she went from scooping to taking money to hand rolling waffle cones without washing her hands once which is incredibly disgusting. She was also studying while waiting for the credit card machine to process my payment. The ice cream is sub par and overpriced. $5.50 for a small scoop in a broken and germ filled waffle cone after waiting over an hour? No thank you.

The ice cream here is consistently some of the best I've had and with the fun location it is no wonder the place is packed all summer. Why the average review you ask? Well, while most of the staff here is friendly and kind to customers, one young woman who works here (or did last summer) was so consistently, incredibly rude every time we went that it sort of turned me off to the place. She dressed like my mom in the 60's and would say things that just shocked me and my friends. The owners need to be more careful about who they hire.

Top quality, house made ice cream. I love this place! Whether you like regular or even vegan ice cream Bluebird does not disappoint! The waffle cones are hand made to order and are delicious!

I'm a fan of Bluebird. This location has nice service and plenty of places to sit. It's not as cozy as the Capitol Hill location but it's open and airy. I had the peanut butter ice cream which I love. I was torn between that and the Theo Chocolate Chunk. I think next time I'll mix them together. I tasted the Snickerdoodle and while the flavor was good the ice cream itself tasted very icy almost like there were ice crystals throughout the taste. Not great for texture. Maybe it was just a fluke? They give you large tasters which is a nice touch and they don't make you feel badly for trying more than one sample. I highly recommend the peanut butter, Theo Chocolate Chunk, and the Elysian Stout flavors. Yum yum and yum.

When we walked in, the store associate was playing music from his old school gameboy. Great ambiance for some delicious ice cream! He let us try all the flavors we wanted, which was great! I wasn't super impressed with the Theo chocolate flavor, but I'm not a chocolate ice cream fan. I ended up going with their special flavor, which was a vanilla ice cream, caramel and chocolate chunks in a waffle cone. so. good. I also ordered the peanut butter and jelly for my son, which was one scoop of peanut butter and a scoop of raspberry. He loved it! And oh, how I loved that peanut butter ice cream too. I don't think you can go wrong with ice cream here, all the flavors looked great. And as spring/summer approaches, I know I'll be making more trips here. The waffle cone was a delicious compliment to the ice cream, and true to other reviews, no leaks! It's a small place, not the best for large groups, or in my case a stroller and a toddler.

Ice cream was delicious but the waffle cones all fell apart. I'd recommend getting it in a bowl with a waffle cone so it doesn't get all over your hands.

I like Bluebird. Really, I do. If you don't believe me, you can read my review for the Fremont location. It always struck me as odd that people rate this location lower than the others, until I actually went here. Nothing's abjectly wrong with the place, it's great location in a beautiful stretch of Phinney. It's just that you're not doing such a great job running an ice cream parlor when you have a line of 10+ customers and a single, overwhelmed server behind the counter. To make matters worse, several of the flavors were listed as "for shakes only" which translates to "melted" in my mind. I didn't ask, so I could be wrong. Anyways, there's lots of potential here, but it needs work. Perhaps hanging a "HELP WANTED" shingle might do the trick.

OH BOY...I'm in trouble. On many occasions I've had to pass on Bluebird because I refuse to stand in lines. On a quiet evening this week I finally went by and there was not a line. (Thank you, Rain!) I had the Theo Chocolate Chunk. It was delicious and what made it even more enjoyable was the freshly made waffle cone that was warm and also sealed at the bottom so I didn't wear melted chocolate ice cream home. I can't wait to return during the Fall and Winter to try even more of their flavors. Their vegan selections are made with coconut milk which is delightful. One warning and 99.9% of the blame is on me but its worth mentioning...their dirty spoons are on top of the counter and well...make sure you don't use one. I'll leave it at that. Clean spoons are by the register. The End.

Horchatta! Vegan! Yum! Service? Most excellent! My incentive for walking in the evenings..It still looks like a work in progress because it is! Can't wait for the home-made sodas! Hand-crafted micro-brews in the works as well. With a line out the door, the guy looked like he had just finished teaching a class on finger painting with chocolate; chocolate running down his forearm, chocolate syrup splattered on every can, bucket, and utensil in sight. Theo's chocolate chuck was sold-out as I approached the front of the line. Horchatta for my trek back and a pint to go-mission accomplished!

We traveled to Bluebird all the way from NE Seattle, so we had high expectations. They were essentially met. As mentioned by others, Bluebird is a small establishment. There were nine people in front of us on a Sunday evening. I was surprised at how quickly the one employee was able to serve those of us in line, and do so with a very pleasant demeanor. Attention Bluebird owners: be sure you're paying your employees well. I appreciate Bluebird company's apparent partnering with other local businesses, listing CB's, Theo, and Elysian among their product names. I ESPECIALLY appreciate Bluebird's ability to accommodate those of us with quirky dietary needs. Who goes to an ice cream shop if they are staying away from dairy (raises hand)? Who goes to an ice cream shop expecting to stay away from dairy AND gluten (raises hand, rather inconspicuously)? Bluebird offered two vegan flavors tonight: coconut mint chip and horchata. I was very pleased with both. Stephen J. ordered peanut butter and salted caramel. He really liked the peanut butter, and also thought the caramel flavor was very good, but that the salt was a little too strong for him. All in all, we were happy with the experience and would visit again.

Ice creams... and booze. The only real reason to come here is to have booze and ice cream, at the same time. Each on their own is just not worth it... but together, it was fun. Here's why it was fun... you have a tiny jar, with booze or soda of choice on bottom, and then you have a giant glob of ice cream of choice on top. Since the building is practically on fire, the ice cream melts really fast and drops into your glass. THIS MAKES A VOLCANIC EXPLOSION! You are forced, FORCED to chug your drink to avoid spilling a single delicious DELICIOUS drop. And also, Perfection the game (remember that one??)... you jump every time the timer goes off. I dare you to try and not jump, you won't win. Nice place, wish it had more room and maybe some ventilation inside, hot as hell and not really a place for a group to hangout for very long.

I have been here a few times and I have always looked for any of the complaints mentioned in the 1 and 2 star reviews. I have seen nothing of the sort except for a slightly slower than average server and an extremely packed business. I personally only like a couple of their flavors of ice cream, but that is just because the flavors they have aren't appetizing to me not that they were poorly made or seem thawed and re-frozen. Some of the flavors of the ice cream are a bit gritty, but if you have a problem with spices in your ice cream like salt in a caramel ice cream then that is your problem and your problem only. The snicker doodle ice cream is by far my favorite and I have to stop my self from draining my wallet on a ton of that when I am there. But! not only does this place have ice cream but they make there own sodas! I work at The Root Beer Store, and I LOVE a good root beer, and man was that batch I had delicious.

This is now my favorite place to get ice cream in Seattle. I had been wanting to try this place for ages but never got around to it until tonight. We lucked out and didn't have to wait at all to order. It sounds like that is pretty rare. The one and only time I went to Molly Moons, which I was disappointed with, I had the salted caramel and balsamic strawberry. I got the salted caramel and snickerdoodle in a delicious homemade waffle cone at Bluebird and it was so awesome. They were both amazing flavors but the snickerdoodle is something special. Creamy, smooth and with the perfect level of spice, the snickerdoodle is amazing. In my best Terminator voice "I'll be back".

    (5)
  • Daranee O.

On my list of milkshakes in Seattle, this comes up number 2. I tried snickerdoodle with malt. It's not as big as a Molly Moon's shake and they never offered whipped cream, but it's still delicious.

Bluebird's chocolate pudding ice cream is my favorite local ice cream flavor so I was stoked when they opened a shop in the Phinney/Greenwood area. This is smaller than the flagship store over in Capitol Hill and will soon serve beer here. They do run out of flavors occasionally, since all of the ice cream is made and delivered from the Capitol Hill location. I think the lady working a few days ago already knew I was going to be bummed since I either get the chocolate pudding or caffe vita ice cream and were sold out. Other than that, it's nice that there's an ice cream shop in the neighborhood that's open late.

  • Kate S.

Man, I like the beer here as much as the ice cream! Really, two of my favorite things together in one place? In one mug if I opt for a beer float? Heck yes! Their milk stout is delicious, and quite tasty with a scoop of coffee ice cream thrown in. (Just don't let CW have a taste cuz he'll spill it all over the table and waste precious beer goodness). Cute small spot, friendly staff -- but missing a lot of the charm an quirk of it's Capitol Hill predecessor. Regardless, this place is delicious and full of all sorts of things to break your Lent promises with. If I find myself in Greenwood/Phinney anytime soon i'm sure i'll find myself back in here.

Sweet! We liked this place quite a bit. We were fortunate to catch the "Two Scoop Tuesday" deal (two scoops for the price of one). I had the Elysian Stout and the Caffe Vita Coffee. The Elysian Stout was good, but a little underwhelming, mostly just a good creamy flavor. The Caffe Vita had a bit more going on but not over the top on sweetness or coffee flavor. We definitely enjoyed the quaint, neighbor atmosphere and "micro-creamery" approach to ice cream. I also liked that they use ingredients from other well known food producers (e.g. Elysian and Caffe Vita). Also, it sounded like they make deliveries in an old fashion milk truck, which is pretty cool.

The ice cream is good. But eve. Today on Mother's Day, a sunny day, they had one person working with a line out the door. She was making cones why dishing up ice cream and giving people change. You could see some people just leave the line because the wait was to long. Showing service was very slow. They should have two people working one making cones and the other dishing out ice-cream

    (2)
  • Christy A.

I really want to love it here, and I've been a dozen times now. But they always only have one person scooping and working the register, and so you can easily wait in line a half hour. It's always so surprising to me how slow the line moves (part of this is the groups that finally get to the front, then want to sample a bunch of flavors, then chit chat with the staff...) I feel really bad for that one person--why don't they have 2 people back there, one scooping and the other working the register? The other weird thing is that they don't have regular bowls. If you get ice cream to go, or ice cream with hot fudge, they put it in a coffee cup. The lid is the coffee cup lid--with a hole. So, ice cream leaks out. ??? I also wish they have kiddie scoops. A scoop of ice cream here is 6 oz, which is huge.

Highly recommend the Theo chocolate chunk, salted caramel, Caffe Vita, vanilla bean, and pb&j. I love the genuine neighborhood vibe. Wish I caught the name of the counter person - she's also makes you feel welcome upon entry. Ice cream on a chilly evening...heck yeah, if it's Bluebird!

Delicious house made ice cream and house made beer, with your choice of a float with any of them and friendly staff, to boot! I used to think I was not an ice cream person, but bluebird's theo chocolate chunk has convinced me otherwise. There's also fresh waffle cone available if you don't want a float, and if the paper cup is too much fiber for you.

Hands down the best ice cream in Seattle. I love this place. Whenever family or friends visit from out of town, I take them here. They have the creamiest, most delicious flavors: -salted caramel (omg to DIE for- not too salty like other ice cream boutiques in Seattle) -peanut butter -caffe vita coffee -vegan horchata made with coconut milk What I really like is seeing the names of local farms and businesses on their menu. It makes me feel like I'm helping lots of people every time I get a hankering for dessert.

I'm giving Bluebird one star as I could not taste it. Meaning, I went at 9:54PM, and as we walked in the woman almost pushed us out saying "Sorry we're closed", then went outside and brought the sign in right in front of us. I thought they were open till 10PM. Guess having her clean the ice cream scoop one more time was too much to ask. I'll stick with Fainting Goat.

Bluebird is the epitome of a Local Business, a business that partners with other local business to create fantastic products. I have loved all their ice creams for awhile now. Cafe Vita is my favorite, but I've never disliked any of them. I love that they use flavors from other places though. Cafe Vita, Theo, Elysian, etc. All, so, so yummy. I also love that they serve beers, and have beer floats, and serve their ice cream in coffee cups, and have yummy cafe vita coffee too. Now though, they are a brewery too! Beer AND Ice Cream? I think I just died and went to Heaven, in Phinney Ridge, none the less. I went to this location for the grand opening of their new Brewery to get a taste of their beer. They had 3 beers on tap and 3 sodas on tap, they also had "guest" beer from Elysian, and Rachel's Ginger Beer. I tried their Strong Blonde Ale, which was light, and refreshing, but still packed a punch at 7.5%. I wish I would have brought a growler! They also had a Porter and Stout, neither of which are my thing. They had Root Beer and a Cream Soda on tap too, which I would love to try sometime too. Perfect for root beer floats! I am so excited to be able to support an amazing local business, while getting to drink delicious beer, or coffee and eat the best ice cream I have ever had.

Greenwood Bluebird is exactly 10 blocks from my house, which is apparently the accurate formula to feel like when you walk there and back that you have completely justified the experience. I have been twice, and both times they were out of the Marionberry flavor! I've had the Theo chocolate chunk and the vegan coconut mint chip (even tho i'm not vegan). Both were very satisfying..... but I'll still be back for that elusive Marionberry!! I will say that I don't find the environment of the store that appealing. It's always either freezing or really hot, and there is not much room to sit. But, I haven't been back since they've started offering beer and wine, which somehow always makes the ambience seem nicer ift there are adult bevreages to be had.

Great sodas, pretty delicious ice cream, perfect location for the neighborhood. Everything is made locally (most ingredients are sourced locally, where possible), and there are no artificial ingredients, preservatives, or corn syrup. One shining example for me is: in a Cookies and Cream flavor, Josh will use Newman O's, rather than Oreos, to avoid trans fats and corn syrup. The flavors are rotated by popularity, but you can almost always expect a few staples on standby. Scoops are quite fairly portioned, and served in either a paper cup or a waffle cone. They have 100% completely compostable utensils and cups, and actually sort compostables from trash, which is quite nice of them to do. The POS system goes down a bit too often (which means cash only), and sometimes, there is a line, but it's not the end of the world. It's a new business, and these sorts of things happen. Hopefully, connectivity and service issues get worked out this year. Bluebird makes some of the best root beer I've had, and sells floats at a totally reasonable price, given the amount of ice cream you get in your drink. Definitely try a root beer float, if such a drink pleases you. They also sell growlers (with the possibility of kegs) of their soda, which you can bring back to have refilled. Simply delightful. The interior could use some tarting up, and some extra stools, but the facility is quite clean and modest. Definitely check it out, if you're in the area, and looking for a treat. I'm told that we can expect ice cream sandwiches and other treats, in the future.

Get the Horchata, the Snickerdoodle, the Coconut Mint Chip, and the Hickory Maple, and thank me later! Combine them at your own risk. Delicious hand made ice cream, using locally sourced ingredients, and some creative and interesting flavor twists. This location isn't as large as their first location on Capitol Hill, and unlike the Cap Hill spot, this one serves only ice cream for now. Apparently they will also serve their own home brewed beer starting in Jan 2012. The shop is a perfect compliment to nearby businesses: Cornuto (nap. style pizza), and Herkimer (great coffee), Chocolate Shoebox (vegan chocolate and vegan shoes), and Carmelita (fine dining veggie style). If you can't get there during their business hours, cross the street to Ken's Market where you can pick up pints of Bluebird's ice cream; look for the plain white pint with a bluebird stamp on it.

Mmmm, great milkshakes. Great flavours. No yucky chemicals. Actual cream. Lots of calories, but worth it! I've had their Vanilla Bean, Theo Chocolate, Marionberry, Peanut Butter, and Café Vita kinds. All were yummy, but the only thing I think they could improve on is that the flavours aren't very pronounced. The Peanut Butter and Marionberry favours seemed particularly weak--overpowered by cream. That's the hazard out of making a milkshake out of ice cream, I guess. I'm a coffee lover, so I had the Café Vita kind at least twice now. It was a little stronger the second time I had it, but still far weaker than I would prefer the coffee taste to be. That's my only quibble!

  • Amanda M.

mmm, TASTY! Chocolate pudding just about knocked my socks off. Love that uber rich, dark chocolatey goodness. The peanut butter ice cream, made with local CB's peanuts, is also extremely tasty - I recommend asking for a little of both! If you really want to go to ice cream bliss, then go for chocolate pudding combined with the "PB&J", which gets you a half-scoop each of peanut butter and huckleberry. My only mistake was going for a regular sized cup - it was so rich, I had trouble finishing it! I think the small size is plenty, unless you skip dinner. :) My boyfriend had no trouble finishing mine for me, though, and also loved his helping of Horchata - which happens to be vegan, and surprisingly delicious. Prices were pretty reasonable, considering the hefty portions. My only lament is that many of the flavors listed on the website were not available the night we went... I'm excited to try Peppermint Mocha and Phluffhead (chocolate with caramel swirls, pieces of dark Theo chocolate, marshmallow fluff!). It would be awesome if they got their website up and running with updated flavor lists, so you can keep an eye out for favorite flavors. In any case, a return visit is definitely warranted!

Had a double scoop in a waffle cone. They don't have sugar cones, and i normally love the waffle cones, but they didn't seem fresh or delicious here so will probably stick with just getting it in a cup next time. In terms of flavors: Coffee was delicious as was the peanut butter. Tried the salted caramel and the snickerdoodle, but didn't love it. Molly Moon may be just a wee bit better.....

I first tried Bluebird when my girlfriend brought home a pint of vegan Horchata ice cream a couple of months ago and it was amazing! So yesterday we go to Bluebird and it was a great experience! Maria was working and she was wonderful! She was personable and let us try many of the flavors without making us feel guilty. I will definitely come back! =)

I thought this place was delicious! I had the Elysian stout ice cream in a waffle cone. The waffle cone was amazingly tasty, and the ice cream was pretty freakin good too! The space isn't anything to write home about - its more of a grab and go kind of place but there is nothing wrong about that for an ice cream place!

    (5)
  • Mike S.

4 stars for ice cream, 1 for horrible, awful, glacially slow service. Ultimately, the ice cream isn't THAT good. You could drive to Molly Moons, order and eat in the time it takes to get served here.

I like Bluebird's vegan ice cream and like that they have so many locations now. The Phinney one is the closest to me. But -- bring back the good vegan flavors! The first time I tried Bluebird, they has a coconut carmel flavor that was amazing -- what happened to it? Now, I'm lucky if they offer horchata -- which is yummy, but not as good as the coconut caramel. And the vegan mint chocolate chip -- yawn. I am likely to pass if that's the only vegan flavor you have on offer. Oh! And what's up with not offering regular cones anymore? Not everyone wants a waffle cone -- they are huge (and not vegan). Bring back regular cones so I don't have to sadly eat my ice cream with a spoon out of a paper cup.

This is one of my favorite ice cream stops in Seattle! I prefer it to Molly Moons! Personally, I wish they would change up the flavors more frequently, but on the other hand, my husband is happy because he gets the same scoop of chocolate pudding every time. He loves it! The staff are always really nice, even on days they're super busy. They do get a little slowed down, but lets be honest, if you're getting ice cream, you're not usually in a huge hurry to do anything else. Just relax and enjoy!

  • Dave M.

If Chaz is behind the counter (the guy with his chest hair hanging out), which happens frequently at the Phinney location, I suggest you keep on walking. I used to go to bluebird at least 3 times a week for ice cream (I know, it's a problem) and have had nothing but positive interactions with every single ice cream scooper dating back to the time before Bluebird accepted credit cards. Now, the experience is a disappointment almost every time. One or more of the following three things will happen on your visit to Bluebird: 1. You'll get a custom Chaz kids scoop. 2. Chaz will screw your order up. (For some reason he is confused by the notion that PB&J is single item on the menu, and therefore split PB&J and something else is a valid order.) 3. Chaz will overcharge you for your ice cream. As always, negative attitude and threatening to kick customers out at the stroke of 10pm is always free. Poor form for a small business IMHO.

Adorable neighborhood spot with awesome ice cream. The waffle cones are to die for. The ONLY downside is that there is not a lot of seating and they usually only have one person working...which can lead to a pretty good wait.

    (4)
  • GW C.

Icecream was good, weren't given very much for the scoop in our cone and the person behind the counter seemed like she couldn't have cared less if we were in there or not (and we were the only ones in there). Expected more in the way kindness and friendliness and quantity. For those reasons, can't recommend it unfortunately and won't be going back.

Bluebird is a real-life white paper example on the benefits of a drug free workplace. (I am kidding. Sort of.) This place is an embarrassment to Seattle. Stale, frost burnt ice cream left to thaw and refreeze over and over again, served by the world's slowest and detached employees on earth. I imagine if the kids from the Breakfast Club began to sell ice cream in the Star Wars bar - it would be called BlueBird Ice Creamery.

Waited for this place to open for a while, since we would walk by when they were still working on it. We were excited for a nice local ice cream place, that wasn't a Baskin Robbins or a Coldstone. Place is small (like most ice cream places), with limited seating inside. The ice cream menu is very slim, and I don't recall very many options. I think I just got a scoop of chocolate. The ice cream was nothing special, it tasted good, but the shop was just pretty ordinary for an ice cream place. I think the price was 3-4 bucks for a small size. If you are walking by and feel like some, by all means stop in. But I don't think this will be the must visit place of the summer where families meet and wait in long lines. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit here.

I'm happy that they've brought Bluebird to the north end. I rarely make it to Cap Hill these days, so lately, my ice cream escapades have been limited to store-bought Tillamook. My faves here are peanut butter, chocolate pudding, and snickerdoodle. On our last visit, the snickerdoodle was really soft, and the PB was really hard. Both tasted really good, but I thought it was weird that the coolers had different temperatures. Service can be hit or miss. I told the hipster server a few visits ago that Bluebird was my favorite ice cream in Seattle, and he didn't seem to care. Good thing their ice cream is tasty because I don't come here for the service. This location is a lot smaller than the Cap Hill one and with a little less character. There are a few board games on the shelf and kitschy tables made of old metal milk containers. It doesn't have to same cozy feel as the Cap Hill location - I would rather play a board game at the other location. Sometimes their credit card machine craps out, so be prepared with cash.

  • Jannie M.

Love the ice cream options! The only thing I would suggest is the scoopers should wear hair nets or something. I know it's not the coolest thing to wear hair nets and all, but I found frozen curly hair in my ice cream that really grossed me out.

  • Joyce J.

I am so glad that Bluebird opened a new location (next to Cafe Vita too). I got to try the fall flavors: pumpkin and maple hickory and they were both delicious. Now we just need the craft beers and more board game tables to make the Bluebird experience complete.

You had me at microcreamery. We grabbed pizza at cornuto next door, then waited in line 30 minutes to get some dessert, but the smell of fresh waffle cones wouldn't let us leave. I'm so happy we didn't. This was worth every penny and every second. Go here.

Walked in as a stranger to this neighborhood. I was blown away by how AWESOME this place is! Genuinely friendly petite brunette chick invited us to sample the icecream and explained the beer pairings (unusual twist on traditional ice cream parlor experience). She even poured the waffle batter onto the iron right in front of us. I have never had a fresh waffle cone before; I didn't know they were supposed to be that good! Best of all, the price was right, and there was nothing pretentious about the place.

So glad this place has come to Phinney/Greenwood neighborhood. They have valiantly stayed open through the cold months - I'm pleasantly surprised to see they always seem to have one customer in there at any time of day (or outside temp.) I'm sure it will be booming by summer. Great selection of rotating flavors - lots of local touches like Theo's chocolate or Elysian beer. And so happy they usually have at least two Non-Dairy options - much appreciated! Service is usually hipster youth - laid back but helpful -they are always generous with free samples. Nice that they have room to sit inside too. Great dessert stop after dinner at one of the local spots nearby. And rumor has it they're working on a liquor license and doing something on draft in partnership with Elysian? That would be perfection! Also be sure and check out their cool retro ice cream van behind the shop - I hope that tours the neighborhood this summer!

Today was our 3rd visit to the place. We like their ice cream but some of them feel a little grainy. We got a pint today and it was so light. It wasn't even packed! We bought pints before and they were both packed full., but today's pint wasn't right at all. I am not sure if the guy there was really weak, or just lazy. So disappointing. I don't know if I will go back there again.

Flavors were great! Ice cream was great! Portion of single scoop was almost half that of Molly Moons, and not worth $4.40 Ambiance was a little strange and quiet. Service was slow - only one staff serving 10+ people (Sat night) Excellent flavors though, and even offered two vegan options. I'll try it again and hope servings were either inconsistent that night, or have improved. I have felt the same way about the toppings at the Capitol Hill location - they are pretty frugal.

This place has the best ice cream! I did not realize they has another place in Capital HIll. I have been to Ballard several times and Fremont. I think they were out of waffle cones at Fremont but a guy was making them. I love the marionberry and the snickerdoodle. Snickerdoodle sounded really gross but my kid wanted it so I sampled it and now I am addicted! Service: it is okay. I have interacted with a woman at the Phinney location a couple times and she is nice and friendly. I think more effort should be put into athmosphere at both locations. The place looks closed even if the door is still open! Just too stark. But their ice cream rocks so that is the main thing!

Wow, this ain't no Molly Moons. Always out of waffle cones and don't seem to care. Often out of several favors......what happens when it gets hot out? Always only one person working, barely speaks to customers, texting in between customers. This place is a joke....I will happily drive twice the distance to get fresh cones, free smiles, the flavors I love and a genuine Seattle experience at Molly Moons. I don't think BB will be around long. We can get crappy ice cream and crappy service at any fast food joint.
