Love this place! Fast, reasonably priced good food and friendly service

I absolutely Love this place! Even though I have my moments of McDonald's withdraws of the chemicals included into the would-be "food" that's served, this place, A Burger Place gives you that same satisfaction of an ALL NATURAL food experience the way it should be from the start. The set up is also pretty unique & memorable given you have a sheet of items & various condiments that you can choose from to have on your burger to make it as simple or massive as you want. The staff is always very friendly, as well as attentive & the place is ALWAYS on point with being clean & tidy. For a burger & fry joint that can be a challenge I'm sure. The service and the food is consistent & that's one of the main things I love about it. The only thing that doesn't make it a complete 5 stars in my book as well as what an other commenter had pointed out - is the fact that they don't sell milkshakes along with the meals. That to me would bring it home to full circle of a typical & addictive burger place that you'd go to, to have all cravings satisfied that you'd expect from A Burger Place. Still a place I'd happily bike to from West Seattle, Downtown, or Capitol Hill in having a great eating experience. :-)

Possibly a 5 star if only they accepted AMex and offered milkshakes! Thx to u local Yelpers, I ordered the house sauce, a sweet something of heaven-ness, if such a word. added the regular toppings but the fried egg and pepper jack cheese really is the winning combination. next time will get a double patty and add extra cheese, maybe cheddar hehe. free WiFi, clean washrooms.

Great place for fast food on the ave. the restaurant is clean and big. Service is fast. The best is that you get to make your own burger and they have curly fries! I tried their homemade sauce and it was delicious! I would definitely have it again. I also tried their chicken wings, they were ok but not as good as the ones a nearby burger place makes, it's called: burger and kabob hut. Besides the chicken wings I'm satisfied with everything else, especially that they give plenty amount of mushroom! It's sad that they don't have milkshakes. But curly fries and burger are enough reason to make me come again.

I came here with a good friend so not much could have gone wrong but looking back honestly I was not very impressed. It is cool how you select what you want in your burger but you to have to pay 1 dollar for everything you put in your basic burger that already cost 6 dollars really adds up. I had a 13 dollar burger that tastes like a 6 dollar burger. I would suggest going to this other burger place next door called Burger Hut. On top of the imbalanced price, the atmosphere is not nice either and the service is very blah (unfriendly). My Personal Restaurant Rating Key One star: the food was bad and I had a negative experience. Two star: I had a more negative experience and would not come here again but the food was good so I may. Three store: everything is good except one thing. Example-the food is good, the price is more reasonable but the atmosphere is lacking class. These are sometimes my go to more than four stars because I usually care about price more than I do about atmosphere. Four stars: Everything is great, food, experience but the price may be on the upper end. I would not recommend this first to Obama unless he didn't like my five stars. Five stars: I would recommend this to Obama. The price may be on he upper end.

This place nails it. Burgers and chicken sandwich were outstanding. Fries were very good. Fountain sodas are very generous in size. People working there were accomodating and the food came out promptly and hot. Small with community seating but it works for a college town. Don't blink or you'll pass the door by. Worth finding.

This is one of the more popular restaurants on the Ave, and now I can see why. I graduated from UW over two years ago and I'm finally trying this place out for the first time. I've been missing out! A Burger Place provides some nice calories for the broke student, but I totally enjoyed my visit and found it worthwhile. Why did I skip this little restaurant over all these years? It's so nice how ordering here is fast and simple. They have paper menus on which you mark everything you want added to your custom-made burger. I got the double quarter-pound beef patty ($4.95), cheese ($0.50), fried egg ($1.00), avocado ($1.00), and lettuce/tomato/onion/pickle (all the vegetables are free, so I suggest loading them all up!). I wouldn't recommend getting much more than that, as the whole thing starts to get hard to keep together once you add too much to it, and the price can actually get racked up fairly quickly if you're careless. Each burger is obviously made to order, but they're still ready in very little time and are delicious. Who needs fast food when you have this?

I feel really bad leaving one star. But when you try to have a chicken pineapple burger, and the chicken has the texture of sandpaper, the consistency of a pedigree race horse, and each chew fills your mouth with the Sahara dessert, that's a one star rating experience. I'm not the best cook. In fact, I would definitely be in the lowest percentile if ranked in cooking ability, but I have yet to make chicken trifecta bad as this. I will definitely be back to try again, as I don't think one experience is definitive, and I've had cheeseburgers there before, and they weren't memorable, but edible at least.

The boyfriend and I have been searching for a favorite burger place. Sadly, this is not it, but it does rank up there with the best burgers we've had since being in the area. It was completely customizable and was good quality. I don't know that we'd make a special trip from Puyallup to go here, but if we're in this area again, we definitely wouldn't hesitate to go in.

I really found this place to be nothing special. It also is kind of small, but ......Seattle tho. You come in and just fill out your little form of what burger you want and what sides and toppings your want and hand it to the cashier who in turn gives it to the cook and rings you up. I've seen this idea before in other places so there is nothing original about it, but it saves a waiter having to take your order and you have to be responsible for what you put on the form. We picked this place as I knew they have veggie burgers along with several other type of burgers. Of course it's like a Morningstar veggie burger, but whatever. I found that the burger had no flavor and no matter how much ketchup I put on or salt I added (which I NEVER do), it just didn't give the burger anything special. I tried to add fries to the burger even. Plus I had to find a way to get rid of all my fries. I will say that they do give you a large helping of fries and my friends and I said as we sat down, "Jeez, we should have shared the fries." Plus we had two kids with us who had their own portions of fries, so we had fry overload. Probably at least a 3-4lb bag of fries amongst us all. Free refills on drinks and you have to separate your trash and compost which I know is a Seattle thing so be aware of which disposal you're using before you drop your tray. Overall this is just a simple burger joint. It's simply decorated and has small tables just in case you want to bring a laptop or tablet to do some studying or just hang out. It was fairly inexpensive as well. I think they have free wifi, so just ask for the password.

Oh. My. God. I could die and go to heaven over these burgers. The salmon burger is perfection, it looked a little iffy at first but once I bit into it... Wow. The staff is amazingly friendly and a great joint to chat with. The environment was cool and good for groups to come eat at. The entrance is really small though. Either way. 100% raving from me. I love this place

I come here whenever I need a burger fix. Very reasonably-priced and tasty hamburgers. They're carefully put-together and there's always the perfect amount of condiments on them. The fries always come out pipping hot. Its not the best or fanciest hamburgers in the world but its a great place to get a good, filling meal!

The thing I like about this place is that you get to customize your burger (and therefore customize your price). So if you've got the money to spend or if you're looking to be a bit more economical, this place might suit your needs. The burgers were pretty good, especially the burger buns, which were surprisingly not those sad squashed things you get at some major burger chains. The fountain sodas here are refillable as well, so if you're planning on eating in, you might consider getting a fountain soda. The seating area is a bit tight, but it works. The restroom here is surprisingly OK.

It's a solid place. Burger place was recommended to me by a friend of mine, and after working out at the gym I figured I might as well grab something to eat from the Ave nearby. The really neat part about this place is that they give you a piece of paper and basically grant you control over constructing your own burger; for a long time I thought this place was unique in that regard, but i've since found that the concept isn't as distinct as I previously thought. Nevertheless, it still outdoes all other burger places I've been to (excluding innout, if that counts) thus far . I ordered a chicken breast burger with a heap of sauces and vegetables, and wasn't disappointed. The chicken was cooked exceptionally well, and I guess you can't really say bad things about tomatoes, lettuce and the works in any burger. For 5 bucks and a respectable portion size it's a fair price. Will be returning when I feel burger-y.

Burgers here are good; I'll give them that. But the ordering is reminiscent of living in the dorms, which just makes it feel like overpriced dorm food. You get this little sheet of paper and circle everything you want (those who lived in UW dorms may know what I'm talking about [cough 1101 cough]). It comes out to like 15 bucks for a burger and a drink and it's pretty much the same burger you can get anywhere else except I guess you don't have to talk to the waiter and tell them what you want. Not a good place if you're looking for a REALLY good burger, very good place if your are very picky with foods or have a severe allergy.

Clean especially for a burger joint! Fast service as well as easy to order and not bad pricing at all. I'm pretty full with a chicken sandwich that was just 6.20$ including tax. I wouldn't say it was amazing but I definitely enjoyed the freshness of a burger with the tangy house sauce that didn't over drench the nice toasty and warm bun. Pretty good burger place I must say and good options as to what type of burger you can get. :). However, I kind of wish they had different bun options as well as other foods than "just" burgers.

One of the better places on the ave. A little greasy, but I like that you can customize your burger as much as you want. Good service and pretty clean.

A Burger Place serves excellent, custom-made burgers. I appreciate being able to dictate exactly what I want on my burger and I know I am going to get exactly my order, unlike most places. Their combo meal is a great deal and you get a ton of tasty, hot fries. Their burgers come wrapped as well so they remain hot and delicious as you eat. I come here frequently, and my only complaint is the state of their bathroom. It's typically not very clean and is something I try to avoid using if possible.

  • Erika D.

Great place to get a veggie burger! Most restaurants that have veggie burgers on the menu tend to make them very bland with few toppings but here you can add on as many toppings as you want! My personal order: Veggie patty Swiss cheese Onions cooked in butter Lettuce Tomato Pickles Jalapeño (spicy!) House sauce Curly fries on the side Can't say it's super healthy but it's a great treat every now and then.

I graduated from UW a long time back, but nothing has really changed on the "Ave" (University Way) over the last couple (or more) decades. For eats, there's still a plethora of teriyaki, pho and Thai restaurants. Apparently, UW is in the purgatory between spring and summer quarters, because when I arrived here this past Sunday around noon, hardly anybody was on the Ave. There's two major burger places on the Ave (excluding Jack in the Box), and A Burger Place possess the better ratings of the two. A Burger Place has a high ceiling and airy feel. The décor design is modern and slick. What I instantly liked at A Burger Place was that you fill out a form to specify what you want on your burger. The form is very straightforward. I went with a double-patty burger with tomato, pickle, fresh onion, bacon and their house dressing. I also ordered fries and a soft drink. Curiously, they have a sign on their cash register that states "Absolutely no illegal downloading permitted!!!" ("no" is underlined three times). My question is: download what and how? My burger and fries appeared quickly (there were just two other customers around). The shoestring fries were pretty good while fresh and hot, but as they cooled, they became tough and leathery. Also, the fries were overcooked. The burger was excellent, and very neatly and carefully assembled. The patties were indeed Burgerville-slim, so ordering a double-burger turned out to be exactly the right choice. The combined price for my burger, fries and soda was $8.65, which I thought was reasonable, considering portion sizes. I'd consider coming back if I was in the U District and craved a burger right then and there. But otherwise, though the burgers are good, I wouldn't come across town just to eat here.

Great food, great service. The staff are really nice and their food is noticeably fresh. Favorite burger place in Seattle and one of my favorite places to eat on the Ave

Ever watch the Fox Animation show Bob's Burger? Is it me or does it look curiously similar to A Burger Place? Perhaps the creator/animator of the show was a U-Dub grad. Anyway, their burgers aren't dry, buts also not dripping with grease, so it makes it a little healthier. You order a burger by customizing type of pattie, cheese, vegetables, sauce, etc by check-marking a list on a sheet of paper and voila, they cook it on the spot for you. Burgers from In-and-Out in California comes to mind as the closest in similarity in terms of size and taste, except the fries here have more variety and tastes better.

Love this place.the burgers are always great and you get to customize your burger. The prices are really cheap..better than other burger places around the ave. I recommended this over ej's

Excellent burgers. Try getting lettuce wrap; they basically wrap the burger with lettuce minus the buns. VERY CLEAN! The asian lady (who seems to be the owner) is super nice.

The onion rings were absolutely delish! If you're a fan, these won't disappoint. And on to the main attraction: the burger. I had a 1/4 lb cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, ketchup, and mustard. I thought this burger was a step above national fast-food burger chains, and the $8.50 seemed about right. I'll be back for more of those onion rings!

Always clean with fast service. Burgers are spot on and I love the way your order and customize by line item. Has a very subtle and minimalist design for the decor.

I've been here quite a few times. It's not my number one burger joint on the ave (I prefer EJ Burger), but it's definitely decent. I think the winning factor here is that you can fill out what you want on your burger. It's pretty awesome to simply do that rather than ordering something then saying, 'Oh, but I don't want this or this or this, but could you add this?' That's always a hassle. I always feel like there's something missing with the burger though and I have no idea what. What makes me like EJ Burger is their special sauce, so maybe I just really like interesting condiments. I have no idea. But this is a solid burger place to go to. The service is very friendly and it's probably cleaner than EJ Burger.

This is a great place for people who are very picky about how they like their burgers and want them built in a certain way. I like that the checklist they provide you at the beginning has a fair amount of choices and is presented in a way that is not overwhelming (which is really important to me, because I get anxious when presented with too many choices). The people behind the counter are friendly. Not much else to say, though. The decor is nice: clean tables and lots of seating, posters all over the walls (giving it a sort-of distinctly Seattle feel). Good lighting. My order (burger+fries) came out to just over $9... which is a little pricey in my opinion. The fries were okay: a little too soft on the inside for me, not quite salty enough. Still crisp on the outside though. My friend got curly fries and those were pretty good. My burger was okay, but it wasn't anything amazing and it certainly didn't "wow" me. Although it's a good burger place, I don't think I'll be coming back because there didn't seem to be anything particularly special about this spot in particular on the Ave.

  • Chris B.

I had the salmon burger here, which was fantastic. With a combo it ended up being a bit pricey, but the burger was cooked perfectly, and it was very filling. I like the no-frills presentation, and the cafeteria-style approach to choosing burgers/toppings. Overall a good spot on the Ave. I'll probably be back.

  • Julia C.

The location is really convenient close to UW, it's a build-your-own burgers kind of place, but the burgers tend to be a little dry and flavorless. It's okay, matching quality to price, and relatively fast.

    (3)
  • Brandon G.

I liked the fact that I was able to completely customize my burger. I just wish there were more options for sauces! They weren't overly greasy which I like, but it wasn't the best burger I have ever had. Also, the amount of fries is big enough for sharing.

    (4)
  • Sam L.

Walk in. Fill out your burger order form with what you want on your burger. Check whether or not you want fries and or drink. Minutes later your order is done. You can eat there or take your food to go. No fuss. No muss. It's great if you're in a hurry.

    (4)
  • Ian S.

It was the driest burger I've had in a long time, and though they cooked up a fresh batch of curly fries, they still weren't good. I've got no complaint with cheap, average burgers on the ave, but this was more $$ than cheap, and and worse quality than average. I walked in the door because I wanted wifi with a burger, and at least I got that.

    (2)
  • Sven S.

Generous amount of food for decent prices. I love the fact that they do no bun, lettuce wraps (as long as you specify to the cashier). Free vegetables and sauce a plus, but even the add-ons that cost money are really inexpensive in my opinion. Fries are my life and their curly fries are delicious as a treat, but the regular fries are just fine. Initially attracted by the price and the ease of ordering, but kept on coming back because of the service. Whenever I enter, I am greeted and the cashiers really make you feel welcomed.

  • Colin D.

I like this place, but I constantly go back and forth between whether I think it's a good deal or not. Unfortunately, the food isn't good enough for me to evaluate it except as a quick bite to eat in the super-competitive market of places serving up cheap-but-tasty lunch options on the ave. By the time you get a double-patty burger with fries, it winds up being about $8 which is pretty steep for what's not exactly a gourmet burger. The salmon filet is a slightly better deal because it comes out about the same price as a double burger. The curly fries are really good which makes up for some of the disappointment with the price and quality. To be fair, the food isn't bad in any way, it's just that it doesn't stand out at all either. The only reason I come here is because it's a relatively inoffensive place to go out to lunch with people when everyone's having a bleh day because they've eaten at chipotle, thai and pho 3 times each in the last two weeks.

  • Amanda D.

I love A Burger Place or Burger Burger as we have coined it (due to the sign). I love that you can "build your own burger", much easier to check off what you want than to explain what it is you don't want. I pretty much get the same thing every time. The fries are good sometimes, the onion rings are great. The house sauce and hot sauce combo is wonderful. The best part is I usually spend anywhere from 8-11 dollars.

    (4)
  • Rob W.

A burger place makes great burgers, and exactly how you want them. I really like the convenience of just writing down all the things I want and handing it to them instead of having to explain it and hope they remember. A single patty hamburger (no cheese) with mushrooms and onions and lettuce, and steak fries ended up costing $7, not bad. We're not talking about tiny Dick's style burgers here either, one will be enough. These are home-made style larger burgers. The patties are nice and juicy while still being thouroughly cooked, and it makes for nice flavor. As good as the burgers are, the fries leave a lot to be desired. I don't know what to say other than they're very average and not tasty. They seem like they're lacking in freshness I guess, it's hard to put my finger on, but they don't do much for me. The place is definitely worth visiting, but try the onion rings instead of the fries.

I know, I know... burgers aren't the healthiest things to eat. BUT... 1) I had just finished my last class for the quarter (yipee!) 2) I had a 5-hour shift at work right after lunch (I will definitely burn some calories from constantly moving around) and 3) I had been craving a nice juicy burger for a couple of days now! I went here during the lunch time rush hour. The place was busy, but with a couple of empty tables here and there. At the register counter, you get to customize your burger by filling out a sheet specifying what type of patty (meat), cheese, extras, veggies (free), sauce (free), and side orders/drinks you want. (Check out the photo I uploaded of the form w/ prices!) Then you hand it over to the cashier who adds up all the various prices for the add-ons. It took about 5 mins to get my food, which wasn't bad at all. I ordered a chicken breast burger, w/ american cheese, all the FREE veggies, and a side order of curly fries. I have to admit, the burger was solid! I thoroughly enjoyed it. The chicken was perfect- a bit crispy on the outside, but moist and tender in the inside. The portion size was a winner as well. As for the curly fries, they were amazing! Seasoned well, hot, crispy, and... curly? They really do give you a lot too! Other pros: free wi-fi, good service, and a big LCD TV (I was able to watch for updates on the tsunami/earthquake situation in Japan) All in all, I will DEFINITELY be coming back here the next time I have a strange, out-of-nowhere craving for burgers. But why not 5-stars? - It adds up to be a bit pricey for a poor college kid as myself. (My total was $8.25) - Doesn't beat Red Mill (my fav!) (Phew, that was a long review. But it was my very first Yelp review, so thanks for reading!)

Yet another four star quality establishment, with prices that are steeper than they should be. That being said, I fully enjoyed my burger with cheddar, bacon, avocado, fries, and a Sprite. That was about $10, which is steep by my standards. I may return if I desire a combination only they can provide or just go to Dick's and get more bang for my buck, as well as a shake.

  • Ninette C.

I really like their salmon burgers here and the fact you can customize everything. Just wish the prices weren't so steep (for the Ave) especially with all those add-on costs.

  • Dominique F.

One of my favorite burger places on the ave/ The fact that you can pick & choose whatever you want on the burger is so cool! Plus there's free Wifi and a big TV screen. It also doesn't hurt that the place was clean when I walked in with my two friends from out of town!

Whenever I see that the line to Chipotle across the street is full I come here. In this case, isn't a bad thing at all. The burgers here are high-quality and the curly fries are delicious. The menu is more like a checklist to create your own burger, which is why their service is so efficient. Carmalized onions and grilled mushrooms are what makes the burgers stand out from other places. They are .50 cents to add on but they are definitely worth it. The burger sizes are a little bit smaller than Red-Robins, but they are definitely cheaper by a couple bucks. My favorite part about this place is that they always have ESPN on, Burgers and sports? Sounds like the perfect meal for a guy. The staff is wonderful and they always seem so jolly. Their worth ethic is excellent and whenever I leave they nicely say goodbye. I'll definitely be coming back.

I love the check list type ordering - it's easy, efficient and the combinations are "endless". The food itself is really good. Their curly fries are pretty bomb and the quality of burgers is nice. Vegetables are fresh and cheese is always melted properly. What makes this FIVE stars instead of just four is the completely amazing, sweet owner. She is this sweet Korean lady that I almost want to call my Korean mom. When I was short on change to buy with cash, she didn't turn me away or make me buy more to qualify for the credit card minimum - she just let me use my card. I was short on my order a few cents to qualify for a free drink and she gifted me a cup for free. Of course I don't EXPECT this kind of generosity and I definitely don't think you should go in and try to take advantage of her kindness, but it goes to show you that the owner really cares about her customers. The rest of the service is pretty friendly, too :) I definitely want to encourage people to check out this place and support the awesome owner ^^

It was good enough for the burger-loving friend who was hanging out at the hospital with his new twin daughters... and it was definitely good enough for me! The employees were pleasant and I enjoy being able to pick all of my burger toppings one by one. (Some of them cost a little extra, some are "free.") The bonus price-wise was that the items I'm usually happy with (on my burger) are 'regular' things like lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and onion.... and all those things come at NO EXTRA CHARGE! So I checked off the one-patty box and checked off everything else that I wanted... and that made my juicy, tasty burger cost just $3.50+tax. Score! The onion rings were pretty good and I was hungry enough to finish them (4 big ones, 3 small), but I don't get why some fried onions have to cost almost as much as my actual burger. I think they were about $3.25! I think next time I'm craving a burger on the Ave, I'll probably come here for the burger.... but skip the sides.

  • C K.

The burgers are delicious and everything is customizable. Service is quick, and the seating area is clean and spacious. A good deal all around, but what really makes A Burger Place a winner is the goodness of the people. I had a friend who spent several years homeless on the Ave. A Burger Place would always allow him to come inside, warm up, use the restroom, charge the phone someone had given him, and sometimes even give him free food. That sort of humanity, in stark contrast to the assholocity of many Ave owners, earns A Burger Place their fifth star.

A Burger Place (or Burger Burger) is a good place to stop for a burger (what else?) in the U District. They also have a good chicken burger. It's nice to be able to choose the condiments, veggies, cheeses, etc that one wants on their burger. A Burger Place has curly, steak and regular fries in addition to onion rings. The rings are nice and crunchy. My only problems with A Burger Place are that it is somewhat pricey and they always have CNN on the tv. And the place is so small it s hard to avoid the tv. Still, the staff is friendly, the service is quick and the food is hot.

A Burger Place is the perfect nondescript name for a restaurant that is ultimately forgettable. Located in the center of the Ave on the University of Washington campus, this place relies on a regular flow of hungry college students who are clearly not discerning when it comes to the bells and whistles that other restaurants might concern themselves with. When you enter A Burger Place you are immediately at the counter to place an order. The ordering process is definitively impersonal - the build your own burger concept is laid out on order sheets that you fill out for yourself. The options are plentiful but typical. I ordered a double patty burger with cheddar cheese, bacon, mushrooms, and onions. I also ordered curly fries and a soda. The total for my order was $11.75, which is a little pricey for this type of place. As soon as she told me my total all I could think was "this had better be a great burger." I filled my drink and found a seat. As I looked around I was pretty disappointed with the atmosphere. There was one tv on the wall, placed high enough that it was almost at an uncomfortable to watch. One corner of the wall featured some posters for concerts and other local events, but most of the walls were completely bare. The paint was a bland greenish color that added nothing to the overall atmosphere. My food was brought out to the table, and I was excited to dig in. The burger was . . . good, but a lot of burgers are good. I was certainly not displeased with the burger, but it hardly wowed me. The fries were typical curly fries but again nothing more than what I expected. In the end I will probably not make it a point to return to A Burger Place, but if you are looking for a decent burger on/near campus this place will do just fine. There is nothing "bad" about the restaurant but nothing that will make it stand out from any other casual burger place out there.

I am a fan of any place that offers up a decent veggie burger with lots of topping option, all at a decent price. Cafeteria style, you walk in fill out the check boxed card and order up some yum! Its usually pretty empty in there it seems so don't worry about having to wait forever. My yummy smelling veg burger was your basic soy patty grilled, they definitely don't skimp on the toppings here. I had plenty of delicious jalapenos, onions, and lettuce to nosh off. Major points go for the burger not coming swathed grease too. Great options for pleasing both meat and veg eaters on a budget!

I probably go here a little bit too often. I am constantly craving fries and A Burger Place is perfect because I can get a $2 order of fries (and may I say for $2 I do get a good amount of fries). Additionally, their curly fries for $2.50 are great (just as good, if not better than Jack-in-the-box and I don't have to go as far down the ave). I don't only get fries, but I often get a burger without the bun which is wrapped in iceberg lettuce. Everything is reasonably priced and I absolutely love the service. The cashiers and the cooks are always really friendly and patient with customers. It's really nice to be welcomed when I enter the restaurant and thanked as I exit.

This is the best place to get burgers in the U-District. I especially like it because I'm a picky eater, and I appreciate their ordering cards that let you pick your meat, cheese, sauces, and other toppings. I like that I can come here and get exactly what I want on my burger. The burgers are cooked when you order them, and it's nice to know that they're fresh. The fries here are always good and perfectly cooked. I've been here lots of times and have never had a bad experience. I recommend adding the onions stir fried in butter! The food here is consistently good, and they always make the burgers look good. There's never half a slice of cheese hanging out of the side, everything is always in it's place. The restaurant is really clean, and the employees are nice.

BURGER BURGER. This place is my go-to burget place in the U District. Outside of a sit-down restaurant where the burgers come with bells and whistles, this is one of the best burgers I've had. Especially in fast food. The space is small, but clean and modern, with an open kitchen that allows you to watch your food being made. No shady business in a hidden back kitchen - it's all clean, clear and honest. You can put together your perfect burger as you go down a checklist that allows you to select your patty, sauces, cheese, veggies and add-ons like mushrooms or bacon. It's all very affordable - right in that space between fast food and 'real restaurant', which is exactly where this place falls into. And their curly fries are delicious. The people who work there are so sweet and friendly. Get your burger on with a smile!

This place is great! Its very easy and fast and they're very organize. You walk in there, grab the clipboard to customize your burger, pay, find a seat, and eat. Even when they're busy, the serving speed is decent. The burgers and fries are good! The only fries I don't like there is the steak fries, but their curly fries are amazing. Overall this place is one of my favorite places on the ave. It is worth checking out if you don't know where to eat on the ave. Oh yeah! The lady who works there is very nice too. Hahaha I don't know what else to say, but all I know is I love this place.

This place rocks! I am not usually a big fan of burgers but this place certainly has changed my mind. As I entered the place, the warm and cosy atmosphere welcomed my empty stomach. Servers were super nice! I do not know you but I highly value this! Food were super fresh and clean. If you are looking for a tasty and clean place to eat, here you go. Straight five stars!

My boyfriend and I rolled in here on a warm sunny afternoon a week or so ago. We had always wanted to try this place and all of a sudden, here we are. It looks like a hole in the wall kind of place but its actually pretty large. They definitely have 12 or more tables and its all pretty spread out. Ordering is pretty simple too, there were a few pads of papers where you can customize your order. If you are a plain burger kind of gal like I am, a burger there is decently priced (they give you lettuce, onion, tomato, mayo, etc for free). If you are an add-on kind of person (bacon, the works...), their add-ons... add up! So the outcome? The burger was good, not knock you off your feet good, but good. What makes them a four? Service and their curly fries were pretty dang good!

Not the worst burger I've ever come across, not the best either. It's a step above McDonalds, but several steps below Red Mill or Teddy's. Once the novelty of crafting every single aspect of your burger yourself wears off, you realize its just a typical, pre-formed patty burger place with reasonable prices. If you're in the mood for a relatively quick burger for about $5, and don't expect to have a life-changing burger, then this is a solid place. That being said, if you're in love with the "design-your-own-burger" concept, then I'd recommend The Counter in Ballard, where everything is locally sourced and more substantial in terms of quality.

I really don't understand why this place has such good reviews. Not only is the food extremely bland, but it made my boyfriend and I sick. I liked the idea of getting to choose what I put on my burger, since I am so picky. I got a burger with pepperjack cheese, the house sauce and grilled onions. The sauce was bland, the pepperjack cheese tasted like jack cheese and the onions literally had not flavor. The only good thing about my meal was the curly fries. It was easily the worst burger I have ever had, and my boyfriend agreed. I was very hopeful, it had good reviews, I liked the idea of the place and the inside, although it looks like ikea, was very nice. To top it off, I got sick. Please, do not go here!!!!

This used to be my go-to burger place on the Ave until not too long ago, but I recently came here after a gap of several months. It isn't open as late as Burger Hut, and the food and value aren't as good as Mr Lu's. However, A Burger Place has a lot going for it. First, there's the ordering system. Can someone explain why all made-to-order burger places don't do this? Then there are the burgers. At first glance, they look like something you might get out of one of the better chains; however, the first bite will prove to you that this places uses better ingredients. The burgers come on a slightly toasted sesame bun, and are light enough that you can have one for lunch without feeling all fast-fooded all day. (That's a polite way of saying that they're a bit on the small side.) The salmon burger also deserves a good word. The fish is perhaps a tad dry, but still surprisingly good for the price. Goes well with the hot sauce. All things considered, I'd probably give this place a 3.5 if I could.

As others have said: best burgers on the ave. It's a bit heavy, but when you just need that burger fix at lunch time, this is your spot. Good service, the curly fries and onion rings are awesome. Everything is freshly made infront of you! Awesome

Sometimes I want a good hamburger without fanfare. This isn't about Dick's deluxe; sometimes I want that, too. This is different. The burgers taste better than most d-i-y places (lunchboxlab, thecounter-both of which I love) and, if you avoid the rush during traditional lunch hours, the whole experience is relaxed and delicious- whatever you consider that to be. What I like most is the limited choices. I would rather pick from 30 viable options than be dazzled by over 7000 choices for my hamburger accessories. Burgerburger has fresh accessories in just the right quantity, including grilled onions. This is a burger joint with really good, reasonably priced burgers and very good fries (except the curly ones- I have trouble aiming those at the right orfice.) I should probably just drink less.

  • Sean M.

bland, bland, bland. I've been here twice - it would have been just once, except the positive reviews made me wonder if my meh first experience was a fluke. On my last visit, I had a burger with cheddar, bacon, fried onions, house sauce, and lettuce/tomato/onion. The flavors were so lacking that I had to check to see if the cheddar or house sauce had been left off; I could only tell the bacon was there by its texture. It really doesn't matter that I can make my own burger if it all tastes the same anyway. Another negative: what sort of build your own burger place doesn't have blue cheese or avocado/guacamole? Plusses: the curly fries are pretty good. The service is friendly and good. This is not enough to make me come back; pity that the food that was their whole raison d'être tastes so boring.

  • Eugene O.

You walk in, you place your order on an order sheet and you sit down. Kind of feels like a cafeteria, but the food is a little better than that. The burgers are good, but they won't blow you away by any stretch of the imagination. The toppings are plentiful and you can choose as many as you'd like (though it'll cost you more after a certain point). The fries are the steak kind, which I like, because you gotta have a little meat to your spuds. Overall, a decent burger and side of fries that hovers around your average burger joint fair. Unfortunately, I encountered a friendly little six-legged critter during my visit (HINT: its name starts with a "C"), and the staff was quick to kill the darn thing before anyone noticed.

Great burger and curly fries! I got a double patty, mushrooms, onions, bacon, and pepperjack cheese and man was it piping hot and delicious. My only complaint is it was quite pricey. I would rather go to Dick's for a good fast food burger that was on the cheaper side.

Amazing service, food and quality of food make this place a must go for people with just a little bit more time on their hands for a good lunch. Burgers here are good and done well and the fries here are amazing especially the curly fries.....curly fries I do adore! You can get good discounts here if you are CSA or JSA or something like that or HKSA? I don't know but this place is very good to go to and good for the price!

Meh is right. I love a good veggie burger and every I've had them here they have been delicious. They are also pretty reasonably priced. They fries are crispy, yummy and you have several options. Why 2 stars? They don't clean the grill or utensils before grilling veggie burgers after grilling meat. The last time I visited I witnessed the employee manning the grill touch a meat burger with his glove and then eat a little bit of the scrap of the meat off of his glove. He then did not change his gloves. GROSS. Call me crazy or anal but that is just taking it a little too far for me. It's things like that make me want to stay in my house and never let a person I don't know cook another meal for me. Gaaaah. This saddens me because I love burgers and being able to select my toppings very much. :( Sorry Burger Place. I won't be back.

My favorite burger place! I enjoy customizing my burger; I always try something new every time I go there. The curly fries are probably the best side order there. I wish it wasn't so busy all the time!

  • Travis J.

Solid burger place. They have a checklist-style ordering mechanism that appeals to the hyper-nerd in me. They keep a nice clean kitchen and it's always one of the cheaper places on the Ave. My favorite: Double with a couple cheeses, pineapple and teriyaki sauce. They also have salmon patties for the pesco-vegetarian. Three stars? Yeah, while they are solid burgers, they just aren't great burgers, they close too early, and they cost a little too much.

Burger+real toppings+curly fries+free WIFI+fast and cheap= A Burger place Man I wish this place was closer to my house. This could become a UW institution and is so good. I can't think of anything negative to say about this place. I highly recommend the house sauce on their burgers with some pepper-jack cheese it makes a great combo, and of course get the fries!

  • Natalie W.

Walk in- pick up a check list- check what you want (meats, non-meats, cheeses?, free toppings, charge for toppings, condiments)- hand the order in to the nice counter worker and note stay or take out- pay somewhere in the ballpark of 4.50 (basic burger) to 10.00(everything + fries and soda)- sit in the ikea chairs and watch the tv (CNN) or read a newspaper laying around- have your meal brought to you- eat= process done I liked my veggie burger- ordered it with stir fried mushrooms and suppose to be stir fried with BBQ sauce onions. Typical large burger bun and garden burger. The taste was good, but didn't win praise. The toppings weren't as plentiful as I expected- one piece lettuce, two small tomatoes, and a glob of mushrooms and sorta diced onions with BBQ sauce glopped on top. The workers, cleanliness, and vibe(free wifi- cute plates) won more over at this restaurant more than the burgers- To be fair I probably should have tried the meat version, but I wasn't in the mood.

A Burger Place is more than just a burger place. It's a damn good burger place. The place itself is relatively small and cozy. The kitchen is open and in the front, so you can see your food being made. The service is impeccable. Though the line may seem long, you'll be in and out of there faster than you think. The lady there runs her team seamlessly, and never fails to give you your burger with a smile. For people who have never been, the first thing you gotta do is grab an order form and a pen. Write your name at the top and then go down the column and check off what you want. Advance up the line and hand the order form to the main cashier and pay. You'll get a number and you can go ahead and sit down anywhere. If you want water, water cups are right by the cashier. The burgers are solid. When you eat it, you might think, "Eh, nothing special." I'd probably agree. But sometimes I just want a good ole solid hamburger. And when I feel like one, this is where I go. No gimmicks, no crazy inventive flavors. A hot, juicy patty, accompanied with fresh toppings at a good price is surprisingly hard to find in this fast-food-and-gourmet-burger-ridden world. Now, I know I said a good price. But this all depends on what you order. If you go and get a double patty with all the extra toppings, you might be digging further into your wallet than the guy next to you. Also, the fries may seem a little pricey (it's still only $1.50), but you get your money's worth. The curly fries and the regular fries are your best bet because they literally spill over the edges. The steak fries, not so much, but they're still really tasty. The only bad thing about this place is that you smell like burgers for the next few hours after you leave. Wait. Is that a bad thing? GET: Single Patty with Lettuce, Tomato, Onions, Jalapenos, Stir-fried Mushrooms, and House Sauce; Any Fries

A Burger Place has really good burgers and awesome curly fries. It's a great place to go for a delicious burger that is a little more than a normal burger from Burger Hut. It's also substantially cleaner and more modern than the other burger places on the Ave. It isn't open as late and doesn't have quite the variety in food options that Burger Hut does.

This place rocks!!! I was not originally a big fan of burger because most of burgers are greasy and oily. But, the bruger that I got from A Burger Place was not like ordinary burgers. It was not greasy or oily, but juicy and fresh. Their foods were super clean and owners were very warm and kind. If you are looking for a place to eat, this can be your choice with no regret. My personal favorites are steak fries with house sauce and a double patties burger with fried eggs and avocado. Five stars.

My housemate and I walked down the ave hoping to find some place still open after 9pm that would fulfill our unexplained craving for.... something. We had never seen this place before, but we gave it a shot. I'm SO glad we did. As a vegetarian, I got the veggie burger. It wasn't just a plain, Boca-tasting burger. It was fabulous. I'm picky about my veggie burgers. The order style is that there's a sheet with a checklist and you check off what kind of burger you want and what toppings you want. The only reason this place didn't get the fifth star from me is that is wasn't the most filling burger. I could have had another half of one to really be satisfied. PS. Try the house sauce! If you're unsure, get it on the side and give it a try. That's what I did. I'm a fan!

Amazingly delicious customizable burgers, great service, and awesome curly fries. Oh, and the prices are GREAT! I can get a great sized, cooked to order gourmet tasting burger with a BUNCH of condiments for only $3.50, which is pretty amazing if you ask me.

The Ave can be a dangerous place, but take heart in knowing that A Burger Place will give you something tasty with a nice space to eat it in. Order whatever you like by quantity of meat (they'll do chicken, too!), and then add toppings. The toppings are all pretty good, and there's a wide enough variety that you can make something you personally enjoy. The burgers themselves would likely not be as good just bread and meat, and this place was really smart to let you customize your meal. I strain to give this place a four star rating. It is only just barely a four, as I've given some restaurants I rate much more highly a four. It earns this score in my book for a unique, accurate ordering system and consistently tasty food. Were it open significantly later, it might become a more solid four.

The burgers are only good (not great), and the seating is not that comfortable. But this place gets four stars for a bright, clean space with TV and free wifi. Also, service is fast and prices are moderate.

I went here for lunch with a friend today. The place is clean and cute, has quick service, and the food was hot and good. They had burgers, chicken, salmon burgers, and a veggie option. You fill out the menu card yourself to let them know what toppings you want, and hand it to the counter person. If I were to compare this to other places on the Ave, I guess it would get 4 stars, and the 3 star rating shouldn't be interpreted as a negative . . . It's a safe bet for lunch if you are walking around the Ave feeling like you are surrounded by less than safe bets. (you kind of are) My chicken, fries and soda came to 9.25.

Solid, fresh, made-to-order (probably the best) burgers on the Ave... Tasty and it doesn't feel like a gut bomb afterward. They've got a good choice of fixings/toppings and their fries/curly fries come in a heaping pile. The price can get a bit steep if you bling up your burger but whatever, it's tasty.

Run of the mill burger joint. Consistent but burgers are overcooked for my (medium-rare) taste but still good. It gets really busy during the noon hour but the cooks are pretty quick about getting orders out so I've never had to wait too long.

This is without a doubt the best burger place I have ever been to. By a significant margin. I ate here all the time last summer during an internship. I'm from California so I know what I'm talking about when I say A Burger Place blows In-n-out away. In-n-out deserves its reputation; it's the best chain in California. But A Burger Place is leaps and bounds ahead of it. It's ridiculously good. I recommend getting the hot sauce, the house sauce, and ketchup on your burger. Then you can add ketchup to the sauce that drips out onto the wrapper and use that for the fries. You order by checking things on a little form; it's really convenient and lets you see all the great options. And the service is amazing. The employees are considerate and friendly. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Best burgers on the Ave. Nothing fancy. Just really good burgers done on a grill.

  • Jeff G.

Good burgers, strange sign. The sign is very odd, it reads A[Burger Burger] Place; but the words Burger are stacked on top of each other and one of them is upside down and backwards. Beyond that there's nothing particularly distinctive about the joint. It's very clean, the staff is very friendly and the burgers are fat, fresh, and well cooked. They offer fries three ways too; curly, steak and traditional. If you're someone like me, who absolutely loses his mind when the person in front of you spends 5 minutes at the register deciding what they want, you'll really appreciate the ordering method. The perilously indecisive folks can spend as long as they want filling out their order while I breeze to the front. Nothing super special, but in this good burger joint deprived town it's a pretty good effort.

Stopped in here on the way to a Husky football game and was very pleased. I love the way you could customize your burger. The menu is just a list that you place checks on. You decide your sauce, how many patties, what type of cheese(s), the veggies, any extras like bacon, and what type of fries. The food was delicious and the portion of fries were is pretty big. The service was very good too our food was done very quickly and brought right out to our table. I do have one complaint though, the main reason we went in there was because from the picture outside It looked like there was a fried egg on the burger which is one of my favorite toppings, but I was mistaken, no fried egg option on the menu. Oh well.

4.5 if I could. Tucked away next to the U-district post office, this place probably has the best burgers on the Ave. The unique feature of this place is the ability to create your own burger from the cornucopia of ingredients. I love this place because of the chargrilled flavor and texture and the accompanying curly fries. I only give this place short of top stars because I prefer Red Mill just a little more. (Yeah, I'm a little critical sometimes).

    (4)
  • Krishna V.

The custom burger concept definitely wins points. The service is usually pretty quick and friendly. The restaurant itself is pretty clean and well lit. All that said, the patties, while by no stretch of the imagination bad tasting, don't have much to offer in the way of distinctive flavor or texture. If offered a burger from here in a blind taste test, I would not be able to identify it - or rather I would identify by it's extreme lack of remark-ability. If the toppings are more important to you than the meat, you'll love it. If you care about the meat, you'll probably still like it. But not as much.

Affectionaly known in my office as Burger Burger. This really is burgers "have it your way" . Step up to the counter and they hand you a slim sheet of paper, a simple check list. Tell them : -What kind of burger (Beef, Salmon, Veggie, Chicken) -how many patties (For the beef) -What kind of cheese (Cheddar , Monteray Jack, and a few others) -Veggies (Lettuce, tomato , onions) -Extras (Sauteed mushrooms, fresh mushrooms, barbecued onions, bacon) -What kind of fries (Fat , skinny, curly, or onion rings.) -If you want a drink. Think of the different combinations! So many choices so little time. I've never had the salmon burger or the veggie burger, but I've had both the beef and the chicken and found them tasty. I've tried all the fries but the skinny fries, and I've tried most of the toppings and have always been happy. They have wifi and an ikea austere interior. And gosh darn they are always friendly. All in all my only wish would be that they would do shakes with a menu like they do their burgers. Can't you imagine, pick a size, pick an ice cream flavor, pick a flavor, or a berry or.... the options are endless.

This place was a pleasant refreshment. A Burger Place has a clean fresh environment in the middle of the U district. Plenty of seating and very nice staff was also a plus. The burgers themselves were cooked to my perfection and had a nice grilled type of taste to them. They weren't loaded with seasoning, which in this case was good because that could have taken away from all the tasty fresh fixings I added to mine. Vegetables were crisp and fresh. The bacon was also cooked to my liking, crispy not burnt. The steak fries are much better then the regular fries. Both were prefect golden and crunchy. Kind of wish they had milkshakes to offer or some other specialty drinks, rather then just soda. This place is interesting because you fill in a card with everything you like on your burger, kind of a lunch line style back in school. Prices were decent, $15 for two burgers, two fries, and one drink. Very yummy. Burger Place is in my top favorites for my search for the perfect cheese burger.

Like Deborah S' office I also affectionately refer to this place as Burger Burger (you'd have to see their sign). A Burger Place approaches the task of bun-meat-bun by having the customer indicate exactly what they want on a paper slip, complete with golf pencils and the like. It's nice to have the precise control of your options, and the final product is the epitome of "have it your way". Don't get me wrong; its good stuff. I even fancy their fries. It's just not enough -wow- to have the experience stick out memorably in your head to the point where you use it as a benchmark by which all other burgers are judged. Also of interest is that you can catch free wi-fi inside, although I don't think burgers and fries are particularly condusive to mousing and typing like coffee is.

Clean place, good structure. I think the price is allittle high for the food they give me, but a huge plus is they got a nice tv in the dining area to watch ESPN lolz

A Burger Place is like that build-your-own teddy bear place at the mall, but with burgers. You fill out a check sheet to place your order. Each item you add to your burger raises the price slightly except for obvious freebies like lettuce, or ketchup. Some of the premium options include mushrooms, grilled onions, extra patties or veggie patties. You also get to pick your fries of choice. I usually chose steak fries because they reassure me of my masculinity. Ideal for a quick lunch in between classes, expect to pay about $7 for your meal if you get a couple extra goodies on your burger. When you are finished, you can sit down to a meal that was custom made for you by employees who are too lazy to fill out their own order forms.

Also known occasionally as Burger Burger it's definitely the cleanest looking place on the Ave. Love the order form, you get a burger with exactly what you want on it with nothing else. Fast service and good food... Especially the veggie burger and curly fries. My only complaint would be that they don't have milkshakes, but that would defy the beautiful simplicity anyway.

  • Andrew S.

A friend just got us burgers with bacon and sauteéd onions, and curly fries and onion rings to share. Wow! The curly fries and onion rings are both so good (and the onion rings are huge!) The paper wrapped around the burger was soaked in grease, so that was kind of gross, but the burger was excellent. WIll definitely eat there again.

I have only been here twice and have to make a point in 2009 to make more visits. When I was here the staff is really freindly and my orders were made fresh and I was happy with the burgers and fries. In 2009 there is this one burger that I want to try that has a egg in it I think. I also like the fact that they are open till 3am .

This is a nice place to grab a better burger. When you walk in, you pick up a piece of paper and mark what kind of burger you want and what you want on it. You then hand it over, and they make your burger. It's that simple. The burgers are decently-sized and taste alright. The curly fries are pretty good, too. Just keep in mind that the cost of this place is generally a bit higher than most places on the Ave, but it can be worth it from time to time.

I actually think their veggie burgers are the best (and I love how you get to easily pick all the assorted toppings to put on your burger). The meat burgers are just ok. Nice casual place to grab a burger and fries.

In opinion, the best burgers on the ave: delicious without being overly greasy. One of my top 3 favorite restaurants in the U-district. VERY fast service also, with good take-out. Try the curly fries; they are amazing!

I love gourmet burgers! I mean it....love them! So when I find a place dedicated to the craft of making burgers I have to check it out. They have a nice ordering system where you build your own burger. The results......meh at best! I went big and got a double cheeseburger with the works. The burger patties IMO were lame. The cheese was cheap and tasteless. They only put one slice of cheese on my double patty burger. Really, the taste wasn't spectacular at all. If you love gourmet burgers, check out Lunchbox Laboratory, Red Mill, or Red Robin.

I like burgers, and this place is pretty good. The quality I would say is very high, and while a little pricey for U-District, I think it's well worth the price for the quality. You pay for the convenience, it's almost as good as Red Robin, minus the bottomless fries.

Burger Burger (what my friends and I call this place) is pretty darn good. Ordering is simple: Pick up a pencil and sheet from the counter, check off what you want on your burger and pay. I'd give this place five stars, but this place doesn't serve milkshakes (which means I usually end up going somewhere else farther down the Ave).

Best place in the U-District to get a burger. Made to order, fresh ingredients, a fairly friendly staff.... Oh, they have a big-screen tv that is always turned to CNN, so you can learn more about child-molesters and rapists, and war whilst you eat your onion rings. They raised their princes a while ago, so if you get a full meal (Burger, fires & drink) you have to spend about $10.00. Oh, and red meat causes Colon cancer.

Well, being a student in the U-district, ABP used to be a favorite haunt of mine, but really, the burgers are just fair, nothing special, and even fair is pushing it these days. I used to come for the cheap, custom-made burger, granted that you'll find only the basic toppings, nothing out of the ordinary (well, pineapple, I suppose, but that's pretty basic in my burger book). The main problem that I have with ABP is the meat. It is bland, flavorless, run-of-the-mill, probably-comes-in-a-gigantic-ass-pre-pattied-box sort of thing. Like I said, as a student, I loved it... with my tastes a bit more refined these days, I opt for the homemade or a place that uses some real beef that has a little texture and flavor to it. Don't get me wrong, ABP isn't bad, and having the option to put just what you want on it is nice, plus, the get it right every time (at least, every time that I've been there), but that isn't enough to get me to come back. As soon as the prices went up like 2 years ago, I stopped frequenting. Good fries. Can't go wrong with waffle fries. The place is always nice and clean, service is snappy. A 3-star burger? I think not.... Thanks for listening.

Quiet possibly the best "burger joint" in town. Order by filling out a burger checklist and add things like sauteed mushrooms, onions, pickles, pepper jack cheese, swiss cheese, curly fries, steak fries, onion rings, salmon patty, beef patty, garden patty (the list goes on and on) The possibilities for creating your dream burger here are endless. Be ready to walk out of A Burger Place a couple pounds heavier, cause the food is real-deal junk food.. but it is oh so good. Bonus points for the flat screen TV in the dinning area, all that's missing is couches and beer.

Although the Brooklyn Burger Pub was opening up in soon, the Burger Burger Place was already open, so Dad and I stepped in to see how good th burgers really could be. We've tried a lot of burgers in our time, so we're finicky about the quality of a good, beefy burger. Bonus points for the check sheet - makes ordering simple and fast, and that's exactly what you want with restaurants in this area. The grills are right there and you can bear witness to their methods, which involve careful consideration of the two kinds of grills. From what I could tell, most of the cooking takes place on the griddle to the left, and are finished in the charcoal grill to the right. I opted for a single patty burger with cheddar, onions fried in butter, all the basic condiments and a side order of the curly fries. This was good greasy fare, and as burgers go, I'd do it again. The other nearby burger place, which has copied the checklist system, seems to offer fewer options, so Burger Burger might continue to reign supreme. Refills are free (as they should be) and the TV is obnoxious, but you don't really go to eat on the Ave. for fine dining and ambiance. Get your food and go! Oh, and the onion rings were good too, but I was more impressed with the curly fries.
