I come in here a few times a week or head thru the drive thru and agree with the other postitive comments~ these ladies that work here are just darling and always have a great attitude! The coffee may not be the greatest but it's better than S******** and the fact that they're animal friendly, have a drive-thru, a "10th-coffee-is-free" card.. plus wonderful people working there make it a pleasant place to be. Plus, they have every flavor available in sugar-free. Go Sorrento's!!

Today's visit gets one star. The lady with blonde hair is rude. The other ladies are phenomenal! I love them. The Wake-Up breakfast sandwiches are usually amazing but today I noticed she charged me more. And she made a poor sandwich, meat on one half of the croissant. I've never been charged more, so I asked and she said it was because I got a croissant. The menu reads more if you get a bagel. I do not appreciate false advertising, regardless if it's cents.

I really want to like this place. It's super convenient and I've never encountered a line. The bagels are good, but it's hard to mess up a toasted bagel... What really gets me is how bad the coffee is. They say they serve Tully's coffee, and I don't go to Tully's so I'm not sure how their espresso usually tastes, but theirs is pretty poor. Comparable to gross drip coffee... Also, the first time I went I asked what flavors of syrup they offered and all I got was "uhhh...we have a lot..." so needless to say that didn't really answer my question and I was deterred from trying something new.

Not good coffee (for a coffee connoisseur). But it gets the job done. Cute seating area and indoor fireplace. Great for reading, studying or meeting for coffee.

I was debating between a 4 and a 3. Its a 4 for Action Ridge, but it wouldn't survive in Seattle. If they changed the decor up a bit, might change my perception. Coffee is ok, kind of depends on the barrista (but that goes for any place I guess). The Baristas are super nice. It has a Drive-Thru- BONUS! I feel like this summer they kicked it up a notch- new things in the deli case like fresh fruit, pre-sliced in cups, great for the kiddos! Also, recently started serving ice cream! Sophia had a scoop with fresh strawberries, whip cream and chocolate sauce, which meant I got to drink my coffee in peace :) My big nit is the bakery items. They have different brands and you never know what you are going to get. The scones from Alki are awesome, but Seattle Bakery (?) is disgusting. So, you have to ask, and 9 out of 10 you still have to double-check your order in case they try to slip SB to you, blech.

Nice place. Could be a bit cozier, but not bad. Nice staff.

Sorento's is hands down the best coffee shop up on the hill! The staff is extremely friendly and you can tell they take time to make sure your coffee tastes great. They also have some extremely nice prices compared to the starbucks near by and they always manage to hook it up. A must try!

I really REALLY want to like this place under the new owners. Unfortunately I have not had very good experiences. The first time I went during the first week it reopened- I was pregnant and avoiding caffeine. I asked for a "decaf" mocha. The woman began making my coffee as I was paying. She handed it to me and her boss came running over and said, "No wait!!! She asked for decaf" and the barista was like, "Oh- we make decaf?" You'd think she would have told me they didn't have decaf or something instead of completely ignoring me. I figured they were getting used to things, training people, sure- mistakes are going to happen. I went back again a few months later, and ordered a decaf mocha again and this time they got it right. I also ordered a chocolate chip cookie to share with my husband and son. My husband took the first bite and said, "I bet this was pretty good- 2 weeks ago." It was like a brick- we threw the whole thing away. It's kind of gross to think about how long that was sitting out before we ate it. They are SOOO nice and the place is in a very convenient location for me, but I can't continue to ignore the mistakes. I might try 1 more time, but 3 strikes and they're out!

I normally have to add sugar to any latte I get, but for some reason, the coffee here is so good that I don't need to!! Great service, decadent french toast bagels, and I can bring my dog in with me which I LOVE! Sad to say though that I believe they just closed their doors. They will be sorely missed. :(

Good local shop is BACK IN BUSINESS again...It's great for convenience and the ONLY DRIVE THRU up on the Ridge that I can think of! Give it a try...we want them to stay in business. Nice employees too!
