Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for High Cholesterol

Keep your pizza intake to one slice to avoid high cholesterol intake while you dine at Pizza Hut. Skip Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice as it contains a high amount of fat and the sodium levels are also very high. Avoid the desserts section completely to limit the fat and sugar intake. You can also limit yourself from ordering non-veg pizza and skip adding sides or dressing on your orders to ensure that your cholesterol is in check while dining at Pizza Hut.

Had a gift card from Pizza Hut that I have had for probably almost a half decade unused. Guess I am not as good about redeeming gift cards with no end dates over the group buying ones. Not feeling like cooking, I decided to get some pizza from Pizza Hut. I went online to order. Looked up the deal section. They had a Monday only offer available for 1 carry-out medium pizza with three toppings for $6 each, though you need to buy at least 2. Sounded pretty good, so I submitted an order. The toppings here are pretty standard ones. No gourmet pizza toppings here like seafood or specialty cheese. Just your standards like pepperoni, Italian sausage, ham and yes, anchovies. I do like that chicken is an option as it wasn't always like that. The Pizza Huts of my youth didn't have it. Speaking of my youth, Pizza Hut was the main pizza place that I would go to when growing up in Hawaii. I remember going to pizza parties there or having it for birthday celebrations at home. And I think fondly of them as they offered free personal pan pizzas and Pizza Hut buttons for reading books. I would read fervently to get some. I enjoyed the pizza, but I always felt like the pizza was a bit too oily. Returning to the present, I ordered two pizzas. One hand tossed and one pan pizza. The pan pizzas were the main culprit of my perception of Pizza Hut's pizza as oily. Though I wanted to give it a shot, if only for nostalgic reasons. After submitting the online form, I was sent to a page which told me what time to expect my carry-out pizzas to be ready. It was actually surprisingly quick. 15 minutes is a shorter wait time than it used to be waiting for a small personal pan pizza to be ready when I was young. Also, the order form doesn't request payment at time of submittal. You pay at the store instead. Timing was good as my pizzas were ready when I got to the store. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. FYI, this is a carry-out/delivery location, so no dine-in option available here. The pizzas itself on the day of were okay. Both pizzas were not as oily as I thought it would be. They had a typical taste to other pizzas that I have tried. But I have to say that eating leftover microwave pizza on the next day is immensely better. The pizza tasted so much better than the slices I had the day before. I think melting cheese and hot crust is the main difference maker here. It is not the best pizza out there, but I still like Pizza Hut for nostalgic reasons and because the pizza is decent. Since it is cheap, I can make several meals of leftover microwave pizza, which is one of the few dishes that gets better with time.

Wish had seen these reviews earlier. These guys SUCK. They can't get their toppings right on online orders and consistently FAIL to deliver on time. 1.5 hr and still not arrived. TRAGIC!! I should just pay a little extra and go with papa johns.

Wow... Ordering through their app is annoying, got here late (said delivery 7:07pm, actual delivery 7:40), IT WASN'T EVEN WARM, was very flat and unappetizing. I am honestly so disappointed I am at a loss for words. I mean I am no pizza delivery place expert but I order enough to know crap service and food vs good/average pizza for a good price. I was even too scared to eat my wings. Never again Ew. It did at least deserve 2 stars for not letting me starve

I'm surprised by so many bad reviews. I like gourmet fancy pants pizza, and by "like", I mean I LOVE. However, I can't always afford or I don't have the patience to go all the way out to Serious Pie, home of omfgTheBestPizzaEver. Also, there's a certain nostalgia to Pizza Hut's pan crust. It's got a greasy, crispy comfort-food feeling, and sometimes I kind of crave it. I've ordered from this Pizza Hut several times for delivery. I've always ordered online and then phoned in an addition or change if I submitted it too quickly. I have NEVER had a problem. (*fingers crossed*) ... On the other hand, every time (read: EVERY time) I've ordered from Garlic Jim's (tried the Redmond one once to check it out) or Papa John's (my friends' delivery of choice), something has gone wrong. The Redmond Pizza Hut guys have always been cheerful and friendly, something that's not the easiest thing to do in their line of work, catering to demanding lazy people. I'm pleased. I'm sure they will continue to meet/exceed my expectations going forward. :)

Put the order online and when I got there it was ready. Great service but doesn't look that clean. It is worst parking area due to many busy stores close to the Pizza Hut.

Put an order in online and when my wife went to pick up they said "Oh we didn't have a pan for that pizza." WHAT??? This is the 2nd time I've tried ordering online and did not get a pizza. Just freaking ridiculous.

On Friday, Sept. 2nd, we wanted a Dine-in for grandkids, but went here (a delivery Pizza Hut) not knowing. Then I locked my keys in the car. It was over 80 outside, no shade, with hungry and antsy grandkids. The guy inside who'd told me where there was a Dine-In pizza hut, came out and tried to figure out how to get into my car. We broke down and ordered pizza for right there while we waited for someone we knew to answer my cell phone calls to everyone I knew. They brought us not only the pizza, but then plates and napkins, even cups to split the Root Beer we'd purchased. They may not have been what I wanted exactly, but the kindness showed to all of us, was kind and really appreciated. Thumbs up, from our family. We'll order from them again, just because of the kindness we received.

Let's see.... Service was very quick, and the compliments end there. I ordered a delivery stuffed crust pizza today, and got a pizza that was short on cheese, heavy on nasty sauce, and had a delivery driver that couldn't count change. Well, at least it was quick. However, I much would have preferred that they take come time to put a little work into the pie that I received.

Eaten at te hut my entire life. Ordered at this hut twice. Twice messed up the order. How do you not stuff the stuffed crust? Thats just weird. We have a credit with them. Dunno if we will use it.

Bought a thin crust veggie pizza today and I have nothing good to talk about it. Apart from being dry and tasteless it was having excessive salt. I would not recommend this place

  • Miranda L.

Not my favorite, but generally Pizza Hut is okay. Unfortunately, this location doesn't have the talent of making the bottom of the crust all crispy, which seems to make certain Pizza Huts really delicious and this one just so-so. The stuffed crust pizza I had last night was good. The cheesesticks were awesome, and the chocolate dunkers were kick ass. The dunkers were made so tasty from the sheer amount of chocolate covering them, then being dipped in a rich chocolate sauce. Definitely nothing light and healthy about that. I think the only thing that made any of the other stuff good was the fact that it was covered and filled with cheese. Otherwise, I can't imagine being very wowed at all. It took about thirty minutes to get the pizza, and it showed up ten minutes before the estimated time. All in all, it was a good experience, it was just not the best pizza I have ever had.

Argh. No matter how hard I try, I cannot bring myself to be excited about Pizza Hut. I don't think it's because of some bad Pizza Hut experience as a child (personally, I loved playing Ms Pac Man) but rather, because their pizza just sucks. Apparently, men love it. I think it's a man thing. My boyfriend gets all giddy when it arrives and pouts when I order "that gourmet Garlic Jim's *expletive.*" He may just be uncultured, though. I gave the Redmond Pizza Hut a chance - hey, maybe they miz things up out here in Washington! No luck. Feh. The pizza has the same weird extroverted holes on the bottom and the strange butter slick beneath as well. I didn't appreciate the crunchy crust and fluffy interior, but if this is your thing, then the Hut is for you!

  • Jodi D.

This is not the pizza you are looking for. I'm not sure what has gone wrong with this location, but for the past 6 months, service has been beyond horrible. I placed an online order at 8:54pm, and their system spit back an estimated delivery time of 9:29pm. Awesome. Or so I thought. At 10pm, I finally call the location to see if perhaps there had been a horrible accident with our delivery dude, and he was now a part of my pizza. I was told to wait 10 minutes, the driver will be there. Lovely. Finally at 10:20pm, the driver finally delivers the now stone cold pizza and accessories to the tune of $40, while I sit on hold with the lovely folks at the restaurant. Finally I get to talk to a manager who says that "they were a little backed up tonight". Gee? Really? Wouldn't that make my pizza just late, not completely cold? The manager did nothing to remedy the situation, or even offer a plausible excuse for delivering an hour and 25 minutes after the order was placed. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time they have screwed up royally with delivery, and I suspect it won't be the last. But that won't be my problem, and I hope it won't be yours either. There are plenty of other pizza joints in this town, and even if I'm once again in the mood to order online, there's always Papa John's.

They located right by my house so when I'm getting out of the freeway I'm just giving them a call and in two minutes I'm picking up a pizza on my way home perfect service.

Delivery, where are you?? I ordered at 11:46, and was told my pizza would be delivered by 12:47 - no lie! Sure I'm hungry, and it's lunch time, but.. an hour, really? I'm sitting here at 1:07pm, and no pizza yet.

Hello uh duuur that's all I can say about this place - are you baked or something ? They sounded like they hate their job I had to pretty much say ok don't you need my address Ok don't you need my card number? Jeeez-- they said it would be an hour OK then I find out they delivered my pizza to someone else lol I called them and said still no pizza I'm hungry as hell ! Lol I love Pizza Hut but I won't be ordering from this Pizza Hut again - order at your own risk lol

Ordered a simple one topping pizza for carry out. Opened it up and took a quick glance at it when I picked it up and it looked fine. Got home, bit into it and found that it was not completely cooked. The entire middle half of the pizza was still doughy; completely inedible. I second the earlier comments about it looking a little less than sanitary. First and last time I'll be using this location. Very disappointing.
