Always make sure that Corey cooks your Pizza - he is the best little pizza cooker and we will always request him!

Honestly? I got a 6 inch pizza of their menu here and a drink and they charged me 13 dollars after tax. When I asked why, the cashier was huffy and dismissive and told me my drink "included refills" I told her it wasn't the drink I was worried about, but why is my pizza over 10 bucks when the sign says it should be 7 or 8? Then, when they made it, I specified no pork due to a food restriction and personal preference, and guess what? I took a big bite of straight up bacon bits. When I asked them to remake it, one of the workers rolled her eyes at me. I won't be back. This place is rude and shady on their pricing. "All the toppings, same price" my ass.

I prefer this pizza over all other chains. Even though you can pick any ingredients you want for about $8, I prefer to stay with a cheese or traditional magherita pizza w/ anchovies. The simpler the better. The processed meats, especially the sausages and beef, have this rabbit turd quality to it. The veggies are fresh and plentiful. This is the sandwich shop (i.e.; Subway, Jimmy John's , Quizno's, Jersey Mike's, etc.) of pizzas. I think it is a wonderful concept. Now if someone would apply the same concept to poke (tuna, red/white/green onions, seaweed, sesame seeds/oil, shoyu (soy sauce), macadamia nuts, furikake.....and any related ingredients over a bowl of brown/white rice). Poke bowls would do wonderfully here!

Mod is great! All of the servers are nice and your pizza comes out quickly. Also, if it's not right, they make another one for you without question. Their menu selections are also a plus. You can get their speciality pizzas or just choose your own topics and keep it simple. It's also in a great location. You can do your shopping/errands and grab a great pizza at the same time.

So we arrived on Monday night a bit before 9pm after the fair after yelping it & saying it was open until10pm, we found the place with all the stools up on the tables & the doors locked. Then we asked if they were closed through the doors & they said they were open & unlocked the doors. They were pretty bothered we & 2 other couples came into eat. One of the employees was busy cleaning the dining areas & very rudely told us where To sit (even though toucan pick where you want to eat) & where to put our trash. The only friendly person was the girl making the pizzas which the rest of the staff had left alone todo all the work. She called to the back a couple of times for help but no One came. Pizzas were ok salads were small. We've been to other MODs & received much better service & way better food. I keep going to the Tacoma one from now on.

I've decided I haven't been won over by MOD's pizza yet, but I am a fan of the pizza salad on top of a warm asiago crust. Chose my own toppings, so of course the flavor was like a party in my mouth, so much so that I had to fold my pizza slices in half to hold in all the toppings. I tried to elegantly stuff it all in my piehole. The caramelized pear tea was just a whisper of flavor, just right. Parking is super ample in sunrise village, and if you come during the summer months the shopping strip has cruise-in nights.

The good: - pizza dough is good, making for a good result - 4 drafts The bad: - line flows slow - they will count the onions and the peppers... - you will have to prompt them to use meaningful quantities

First things first, I'm the realest. Actually no, the first thing is that the cafeteria-style set up and length of the line tricks you into thinking you're going to be shoveling pizza down your gullet in no time. 20 minutes later, your feet are mad that you've been standing for so long, and your mouth is mad that there is no pizza in it. Long story short, I probably wouldn't go back if only because I don't think I could handle waiting that long. As for the pizza, I liked the toppings and was meh about the crust. I like the idea of Mod--customize a pizza with anything you want for a fixed price--but the execution doesn't make sense to me.

I had the Tristan with basil and arugala added. Arugala wasn't noticeable and got washed out. Service was quick and easy, even though it was sort of busy. The marionberry lemonade was fantastic! I'm generally not a fan of thin crust pizza, but I enjoyed the flavors. I liked the concept. They did seem stingy for certain toppings. My husband's Dominic pizza had exactly four onions on it. One ring per slice. Liked the drink options. Overall good experience. Will go again.

I hate to do this because I have been here so many times and the food is great. Lately this place has gone down hill. Tonight we waited in line as we watched 1 girl working (she looked like a mixed ethnicity) that completely distracted half the staff from helping customers. The line was not that long at all, but after waiting 15 minutes and not moving we left and went to Applebee's. We were just at this location 4 days ago. The manager was there and moving the line with urgency. I was also very happy to see the tattood guy back. But tonight was back to being a wreck. The place was clean but it was clear that the employees were there for a paycheck instead of helping the customers in a timely manner.

  • Adam T.

Tasty pizza and friendly staff. I thought the amount of food you got for the price was appropriate. Not exactly super fast pizza. The food itself was higher quality than you get from the pizza huts and dominos of the pizza world.

  • Brittany H.

Had a very great experience tonight. The atmosphere was very great, we got in and out pretty fast. The production line was quick and assertive. The food tasted amazing:-) it seemed like the employees helped each other out and worked together to make things run smoothly. I will be coming back and telling my friends and family they need to try this location.

Great fresh flavor! The mini pizza was a little too smal for me, but I had a salad and a coke. Clean and friendly stuff. I love this place!

  • Christina D.

In town visiting family, took a quick trip to the closest shopping center. My girl got hungry so we dipped into the pizza place. You can't go wrong with pizza in her eyes. Service was fast & friendly. We're pretty simple folk so a mini cheese & chocolate shake is what we got. Ok so...YUM! The crust was a perfect blend of crunchy & chewy. Sauce a good mix of tomato& garlic. Dining area is a good size. There are booths, tables & bar style counters. Maybe we'll come back before we head out of town.

Fresh and tasty! Wide array of topping choices that go great together. Well worth the drive.

The first time I walked into mod my first thought was, it's like subway but with pizza. I like the idea that my family can get whatever we all want on our pizzas and not have to comprise, especially with my kids who like only cheese and Canadian bacon on their pizza. I have had better pizza but mod pizza is good and I can get whatever I want on my own pizza without my kids input and that makes it a good choice for my family. Every time we have gone there the staff has been very friendly and from reading other reviews I guess I have been lucky every time I have gone because I have not waited very long. It has been a 10-15 min average wait when I go but to make and cook a pizza I figure that's not bad I would definitely recommend mod to others

  • Miranda B.

I don't know what the deal is, but every time I have eaten here, I have gotten sick to my stomach. So weird! Wish I could give them more stars because they have a great selection, friendly staff, and good service.

    (1)
  • John T.

Great spot for a quick lunch with the family. Nice that everyone can pick their own pizza and have it just their way. Jasper (spicy Italian sausage, mushroom, mozarella) is my favorite but there are a handful of others that are great. Fun to create something new right in front of you and the cost doesn't change. Busier times the line can be a bit long but it usually moves swiftly.

  • L L.

This place was so catering to me to make sure I got gluten free. As a celiac I have to be very careful what I eat. They got fresh everything from the bottom Of the bins so they didn't grab the toppings from the top where their gloves had touched the toppings on top with flour. They also changed their gloves and washed the metal pan they cook it in to make sure all the regular flour was off of it. I couldn't be happier this place rocks and was so catering to me. Thank you MOD pizza!!

  • Cindy Y.

First time trying mod and it was easily the best experience! I love pizza but building your own? I felt so spoiled hahaha. Came in and we were in awe it was like subway but for pizza, dream come true! Thankfully we immediately got asked if we've ever tried MOD because we didn't know where to start and the worker was so kind enough to walk us through the whole process. Even gave recommendations! I got the mad dog in mega mod to play it safe for a firstie. And a regular Dillion James! It was funny how they scream out your name when the order is ready lol. Food was great and so was the lemonade near the soda machines. Free refills so I went ham! I love how there were to-go boxes handy so you don't have to hassle and wait for it! Rightfully given 5 stars :D

Take notice of their business description - they are "individual artisan-style pizzas ". They have 2 sizes - the small the size of your fist and the large the size of your foot (4 slices to be exact). I'm not a fan of a crust the height of a saltine cracker, but if you are, this is your place. I cannot dis either the service nor the ingredients - both were fine. But these are for yuppie lunches/after shopping/show snacks - not a family style pizza with any kind of heft to it - so there's no fair way to compare them to any of the chains or mom & pop pizza places. That's all I'm trying to point out.

    (2)
  • Miranda E.

This place is always packed! But it's so good and worth the wait. You can customize it or get one of their specialty pizzas. The sizing is smaller, which is nice if you and your significant other have different tastes or want different kinds of pizza. It's a bit pricey, but is better than the other pizza chains in the area. The staff is always super nice and helpful.

    (5)
  • Shelly Z.

Think of this as the Chipotle of pizzas. Walk in, pick your sauce and toppings and they cook it made to order. For a first-timer it was a bit overwhelming and the order taker was not very helpful...bordering on impatient. After that, all was well. Pizza was good, mega salad plenty for all 4 of us. Not gourmet but not fast food either.

Good Pizza, the price is fair and I love how you get choose how much toppings you want and there's no extra charge. Their strawberry lemonade is addictive like crack.

    (4)
  • Tatiana G.

Pizza is awesome but sometimes the line is long. Music is way too loud which makes it hard to hear your name being called. We love going here for pizza. The salads are good too.

    (4)
  • April M.

The set up is pretty cool so I give it 2 stars just for that. But I LOVE PIZZA and this just didnt do it for me.There was no flavor in the crust and the sauce was dull in taste. That is where it starts! You have to have a good crust and a flavorful sauce!!! I have had better frozen pizza for sure and I dont even like frozen pizza. The salad was good and if I was to return it would be only for a small salad. Sorry MOD Pizza you just didnt do it for me or my family!

  • Karen B.

While I adore the concept and taste of Mod Pizzas, lately their service has been waining. We typically Internet order 1-2 times a month for pick-up and either they get the order incorrect, or its not ready on time. Today it's both. Sadly I'll keep coming back as I like the pizza but I'd be hard pressed to use them for any of the local or state level youth events we do or suggest them to friends and family. We ordered at 11:30am for a12:30am pick-up amd is now 12:42pm and we're still waiting as they had to redo one of two because they got it so wrong....and the other pizza is now sitting gettng cold while we wait to head home and eat :-(

  • Amanda M.

I love this location. the energy is high and its a great place to bring my daughter nice and nephews without feeling like there are a distraction for other guests. the manager amir is very attentive to his employees and makes sure that all aspects of the ordering process is customized to each guest..mod pizza makes it easy to go out for dinner and still feel good about your feeding your family. the people at this location make it that much better. forever customer.

Fast super friendly service and the pizza is amazing! Prices are great, employees are happy to explain the menu to you and you can make your pizza custom in every way!

Very good thin-crust pizza -- not so sure about fast. My wife and I went there at about 6:30 on a Thursday evening. We lucked into a short line (I say "lucked" because the whole rest of the time we were there the line was back to the door, if not out the door). I guess when you come up # 1 on Yelp you should expect a crowd. It made me laugh as soon as we came in the door - this place is so obviously "Five Guys For Pizza." Even the store layout is the same. "Personalized" is one of the selling points, and that it is. You can have your pizza any way you want it, no extra charge. It's a cool idea, and makes for some great pizza. I had #11, Calexico, which was supposed to be hot (jalapeno's, etc), but wasn't tongue-scorchingly hot, which is perhaps as it should be. The pizza tasted great. My wife had #2, Mad Dog, basically pepperoni and sausage. We traded, and hers was great, too. No slam there - they say they have good pizza and they do. "Fast" is another selling point, and that one wasn't true for us. Not outrageously slow, either; it was probably as fast as Pizza Hut, but I had been led to expect two or three minutes. Ours was probably more like 10-12 minutes at least. Granted it was busy, but still. The other reviewers raved about the Marionberry Lemonade, and that stuff was pretty good, too. Evidently everyone else thought so, because that was the only dispenser I saw them have to fill while we were there. Total cost for two (generous) personal pizzas and two fountain drinks was still under $20, so the price is definitely right. All around, some of the best pizza I've had, though I think they still have a few kinks to work out. You may want to avoid the rush times if you don't like long lines.

    (3)
  • Douglas M.

It's a bit pricy for "flash" made pizzas. I think it would be a fortune to bring the whole family. The food is good but not as good as Trackside in downtown Puyallup.

    (3)
  • Donovan M.

Love MODS Pizza! My best friend and I eat here all the time! The customer service has always been amazing! Never had a bad experience here. Im a vegan, so the fact that we can pick and choose what we want on our pizzas is a great option to have. I was super sad to hear that the Capital Hill location closed, then to find one 10 minutes aways made up for it.

    (5)
  • Keith K.

Good and quick pizza. The young guy at the register was very good at verifying our order and making sure we got what we paid for. We'll be back.

    (3)
  • Meagan K.

Love, love, love MOD! Tasty pizza, great price and unlimited topping! I would definitely recommend ordering extra sauce though. Plus they have gluten free, for only a couple dollars more! Gluten free eaters know it's expensive to order their personal pizza, while others eat regular and most of the time they aren't that great and super small . Well this place has the best gluten free pizza I've ever had! It's 11inches of deliciousness!

    (4)
  • James H.

The pizza is amazing. Cheap, personal, customizable pizza. They have a variety of toppings. The people that work here are very friendly and personable. The environment is open and inviting. Deffinently coming back.

    (5)
  • Amber A.

Great food! It's great how the pizza price remains the same no matter how many toppings you put on. They really stand by their customer satisfaction and make sure you are taken care of.

    (5)
  • Jessica J.

Love this place! I always get 2 Mini Pizzas: the Jasper and the Caspian. The Jasper is a sausage and mushroom pizza and the Caspian is a BBQ chicken pizza. The salads are also pretty great, you definitely get your money's worth! My kids love it too and you can't beat the prices. It's nice that they sell beer there too!

    (4)
  • Kir J.

By far the best fast food I've had in Washington. They also demonstrate some of the best customer service I've ever seen. The price is also very fair. They'll fulfill all of your requests and are quick to remember regular customers, as my baby brother who drags me here can testify to.

    (5)
  • Jay A.

Great service and excellent thin, euro style pizza. Great value and awesome place for a quick family bite.

    (5)
  • Chris C.

I think MOD is a great idea. Pizzas and salads made any way you like for one price. The crust is good, the toppings are great, and the staff is friendly. On a nice day, they open up the doors and the whole place feels like open air dining. The pizzas are pretty much for one or two people, but that allows multiple combinations for larger parties. The music tends to be a little loud, but overall, we really enjoy the place.

    (4)
  • Abigail G.

My new favorite pizza place! I love that you make your own personal pizza & can add as many sauces & toppings as you want without having to worry about paying extra. Also, their lemonades & teas are really good! ...And they play good music too which is nice & makes everything else even more enjoyable.

    (5)
  • Mar C.

Lazy employees. There was an advertisement on their web page for a deal and the employee told me it wasn't going on. We checked online when we got home and it was still valid.

    (1)
  • Alisa B.

GREAT pizza that's quick. Plenty to choose from including gluten free crust:) and employees always pleasant!!

    (5)
  • Robert M.

Awesome, fast pizza just how you want it - no extra charge! I highly recommend MOD for the whole family. Everybody gets what they want at a good price.

  • Risa L.

Our favorite pizza place! It's like Subway but Pizza version. You get to chose cheese, meats, veggies and sauce. Very friendly staff. We love their lemonade too!

    (5)
  • Richard H.

Wasnt the best Pizza I've had, the edge of the pizza was burnt all around it, very thin crust pizza I've had better pizza elsewhere and this wont be the first choice for pizza for me

    (2)
  • John S.

I love this place my wife and I have been wanting to try this place for awhile now and finally decided to step in. We were both new to this place but the guy helping us was very helpful. At first I went with the mad dog pizza with three types of meat but made some changes to the pizza to fit my taste. That's the great thing about mod pizza you can make your pizza however you want it and it's always going to cost the same flat price! They have a great selection of beers on tap including Mannys pale ale which is nice to see out of the Seattle area. However my wife and I went for the lemonade instead they have four kinds and free refills. I will definitely be back. The only reason this place doesn't get five stars is because there's no tv to watch the big games!

  • Thushari G.

This my favorite pizza shop! Great value for your money. The atmosphere is very family friendly and you if love thin crust pizza, you just can't go wrong. The salad bar is great as well. The staff is very upbeat, friendly and welcoming. A family favorite.

  • Tissa B.

By far the best pizza I have ever had! I eat here at least once a week. The employees are always very friendly and helpful.

  • Christina L.

I am one of "those" customers... I have food allergies, I am picky, AND I am pregnant! Tonight, my husband, toddler, and I came in for dinner. Not only was the food great (yummy tasting and had perfect sauce-topping-crust ratio), but we were treated like friends. Even though I changed my mind like three times during my order and my toddler insisted he did, indeed, like pineapples, we never felt like an inconvenience. In fact, they gave him a little side cup of pineapple tidbits for fun. :). We love coming here!

    (5)
  • Suzanne P.

Food is great but wait times to order are ridiculous! ! Customers were walking out of line to leave.

    (3)
  • Mark M.

Great place for a build your on pizza! Bring the family and you won't be disappointed!Perfect price!

    (5)
  • Mr W.

Great when you need something close to fast food but don't want a heavy burger. I only eat real beef burgers when I have one...I stay away from the chain burger joints. So anyway, this was a good choice. I like that I can choose what I want & the price doesn't waver. I will come back & try again.

    (4)
  • Jen A.

Best pizza ever! Can choose your own toppings or add more without costing more. Very upbeat staff.

    (5)
  • Liz O.

I've been here a few times and just haven't been pleased with the pizza. Either the bottom has been incredibly burned or I just didn't care for the pizza sauce. However, the people who work there are always incredibly kind and make you want to come back just because they do a great job making you feel welcome.

  • Evelyn S.

I DO NOT recommend this place!!! It is not very tasty, and while I was eating there with some friends, my friend had A HUGE CHUNK OF HAIR WOVEN INTO HER PIZZA!!!! I don't know about you but I'm never going there again!!!

Had the Tristan pizza with no red peppers and added sausage. It was so good and I love the thin crust. I look forward to trying it again!

  • Trista W.

This place reminds me of a college town pizzeria... which means... HELL YEAH!!! I love the set price no matter what toppings or changes. Thin crust is normal here... feels like a beach town pizza. Anyone from Santa Cruz/Capitola area think individual size Pizza My Heart! AWESOME!!!

  • Cassandra L.

This place seriously rocks! I went here for the first time and the guys behind the counter were super helpful and knowledgeable I love that its a personal pizza just for me and I can customize it however I want. Also the bottomless beverages are great to blackberry lemonade is soooo good!

  • Rachael L.

We love this place! Our kids (5 and 7) get their own pizza's and love that. They are fast, friendly and the food is always great. If for some reason it's not they remake it for you, no problem. Occasionally the lines are long, but I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my meal once ordered. Love the crust they use and the salads are quite tasty.

    (5)
  • Elizabeth C.

Went to MOD Pizza because we were craving something well... pizza! Entered and the manager greeted us and after I told him I had read about the place online and researched the menu, he did ask if I still wanted to know how everything works. Very polite and after we ordered we only had to wait a few minutes before we each got to enjoy our own pizzas! Will go back again soon! Love the milkshakes and delicious lemonades!

1st time visit, and Not the last. Loved this Place, Order your own personal Pizza, anything you want 10" . No extra charge $7 and change. The 6" is a bit less..Whoo hoo, thin crust was awesome. Mini Salad that we shared was. very good. We bought 1 each and still brought 1/2 pizza home each, and spent $23.00 with 1 drink shared, Boylan's Creme Soda, was awesome. The Place, was busy it is after all Friday night 6:45 to 7:15pm, music was a bit loud but good choice of music type, 80's / 90's rock. The Staff tonight was awesome, the order taker, awesome, the pizza maker awesome, the salad maker awesome, the money taker awesome, and the gal that yells your name to come get your pizza awesome, even the clean up guy picking up dishes/plates was busy working. Great crew this eve, they were helpful and nice and VERY BUSY, We are so glad because I/we loved this place, and we like Pizza, great new & different Pizza chain. Oh and for those that need it! Gluten free crusts... Tonight I just cant say enough good things about this experience. Do not miss this.

Mod pizza has become my new go-to place to eat and bring guests. Their pizzas are excellent and made-to-order. Tonight Brandon made me another excellent one that I paired with a Manny's. Its a feast, and you gotta try it!

    (5)
  • Scotty Y.

Excellent place for families! Kids love it. Get to hear "can we go to Mod" every day for days on end after we go here. Lemonade is great. Superb customer service, replaced one pizza as they did not like how sundried tomato's were cooked. Open and airy, sit outside. Ingredients- just about everything you may want is available for your 'za. Almost seems like eating a pizza pie is healthy!

  • Mark C.

Went for lunch, service was quick and plenty of seating. Their meal deal of $7.17 for a personal pizza, build your own, is a great deal. Easily can feed to two normal adults, or one very hungry teenager. You can choose your own toppings, in my case; Double Cheese, Double Mushroom, Artichokes and heavy red sauce. It hit the spot, Very Good!!!. The "supreme" style that others were ordering looked very nice as well. The crust is thin, but not New York Style. More of a harder (but tasty) crust. I enjoyed it and would go back. I did try their milk shake, not really that impressed, just another shake.

    (4)
  • N C.

Our family loves the pizza here! The best part is ordering whatever you want on your pizza (or salad) and not being charged extra for it. Ingredients are fresh. Price is good. Staff is friendly. You get greeted upon entering. We like the thin crust (gluten-free is available).

    (5)
  • Angie S.

This place is great. It's like a subway, but with pizza. Love that you can create your own pizza at no extra charge. Salads are the same, how you want it, at no extra charge. Employees are very friendly and seem to work very efficiently. There was a bit of a wait when I was there, but that's to be expected when they are so busy. It was worth the wait. I'll go back for sure.

LOVE Mod Pizza! Fantastic pizza, even better prices and everyone here goes out of their way to make you feel like a valued customer. I will be back many many times!

  • Tyler L.

Wow. This food is great! The pizza is cooked to perfection, and quickly, like it should be. The toppings are very fresh, and are not cheap by any means. You can get their 7" Mod Pizza for &17 or a baby MOD which is what my wife and I got for $4.40. Also, try the marionberry lemonade, you won't be disappointed. Please give this place business so they stick around. Best pizza in the Puyallup area, hands down.

  • Kendle C.

Very inexpensive with a thin crust. I was able to feed me as well as two kids. We only got the cheese and I was very happy with it.

good price, ok pizza. I like thin crust, but the level of sauce and toppings were conventionally sparse. I liked it ok, my husband was disappointed. Doubt we will go back.

Good pizza, kinda slow service but so many yummy options to choose from, definitely stop by and pick up a pie while you're in sunrise village.

Stopped in for lunch to check out the new place. I like it! Love building my own creation. Love the single price, no matter how many toppings! Love the quickness of it all, important when I'm on my lunch break. Flavor was great. Will be coming back!

Love this place! The people are upbeat and friendly, the food is delicious and fairly quick and the price is fair. There aren't many places to go around here that you can sit down and eat your pizza there, and the places that there are tend to be somewhat pricey. If you just want a quick, fresh pizza this is the place to go. I recommend their marion berry lemonade and the knots as well. When you go in and go up to the counter you can see all the ingredients and you can choose as many as you would like to put on your pizza and/or salad and no matter how many you put, its all the same price! All the ingredients are fresh and the thin crust pizza is delicious. The salads are very good as well. I'm glad to have a place like this in Puyallup!

This place is pretty good. The only bad thing is the crust is very thin. Customer service was good.

It did absolutely nothing for me..to thin of crust to skimpy on the few toppings i chose and 18 hours later my mouth still tastes like a tin can

So a friend of a friend posted on Facebook to Run not Walk to MOD, so I being the pizza fanatic, of course did some Yelp research then told the hubby to meet me after work...We were greeted by amazing young talent that made sure we didn't look like fools when we entered and had no clue where to go..( I had done my research so knew the concept, but still didn't know the layout) Nothing is more fun to me than getting to pick WHATEVER toppings I want for the same price!!!!!!!! I am a cheapskate and love this concept. The pizza could probably taste like crap and I would still come for this treat alone!! But lo' and behold, they actually have Yummy Pizza! And the funniest thing of all...We get inside and the facebook friend that posted this " Run don't walk business" was inside getting yet another pizza, (obviously at least one day later). So the next day I am telling my Best friend we HAVE to go again, I just couldn't wait to try ANOTHER mix of toppings! Guess what (as I am praying that nobody will recognize me as the lady in the night before..) the Facebook friend is here AGAIN!! Now I don't feel so bad...I am only on my second trip in 2 days I know they are at least on trip #3!! And before we left another set of friends we spotted the night before was Also there again! So as you can see, it is quite addictive and I am holding myself back from running not walking in everyday!!

Our family loves this place! This is coming from a girl who usually goes for thick crust. The pizza was tasty. We tried the lemonade while waiting and that marionberry lemonade is delicious. I love that you can add extra toppings with no extra charge. The employees were very helpful and nice. They were probably my favorite part.

This was a welcomed change from the limited dine-in options for pizza in the Puyallup/South Hill area. The best way to describe the way you order your food here, is think of Qdoba or Chipotle, but with pizza instead. Very speedy service, even friendlier staff. The mini mod pizza, which is a 6" pizza, is absolutely perfect for one person! 4 slices total, and if there's more than one of you, get a couple of mini mods of their custom pizzas so you can try more of a variety. I had the dillon james (#7) and really liked it. If you're burnt out on The Rock, Trackside Pizza, Pizza Hut, Dominios or Roundtable, give this place a chance. You might be surprised.

I was informed by a girl that was handing out free pizza outside that they had a gluten-free pizza available, which made me happy because I'm gluten-intolerant. I decided to eat there with my fiancé, who isn't gluten-intolerant, and we went in at about 6:30pm on a Sunday. Although the worker who was telling us that there was GF pizza was very enthusiastic about me being able to eat there, this restaurant is not actually able to offer ANYTHING Gluten-free. Other than their crust, the workers there do not make an effort to keep anything separate. (And you can see them making/cooking the pizza so they can't hide the fact that they are doing these things) They lay the GF crust on the same surfaces at the regular crust in the oven, covering the bottom of the crust with flour and crumbs from other pizzas. When I initially asked for GF pizza, they had been trained to inform me of these practices, so they are AWARE that they are doing it, it is a conscious choice, and they seemed very unconcerned about it. Why bother offering GF crust if you cook/prep it in a way that makes it unsafe to eat? Also, at the time we went in to eat, there was still a girl outside handing out free pizza, but inside many of the tables had not been wiped down, so it was hard to find a place to sit. Priorities seem a little off on that score, don't you think? Our pizza came hot and made the way we asked, but it wasn't cut properly, so when my fiancé took it back to have it cut the rest of the way through, the girl cut our pizza with the same cutter she had used to cut someone else's pizza moments before, yet another contamination issue for people with gluten-intolerances. I will never be able to bring my gluten-intolerant friends to this place, but as a regular pizza place its decent. My fiancé had no complaints and said the GF crust tastes as good as a regular thin-crust pizza. I hope the management changes their prep policies so that I can eat there someday, I tried it once, and my skin condition/digestive issues from gluten is flaring up today, proving that at least SOMETHING with gluten made its way into my food. If you want GF pizza in South Hill, go to BJ's near the South Hill Mall.

I love Mod pizza! Very casual place to grab affordable, yummy thin crust pizza. Everything is customizable at no extra charge. The place can get pretty busy so we always order online and pick up when it's done.

When we don't have a lot of time to sit and wait for pizza or are on a budget, we can get 2 pizzas with drinks for under $20 - that's amazing - delicious - and if it's bad its our fault because we choose the toppings, lol. It's never been bad and is always enjoyable. Love when the doors are wide open, means it's sunny outside! Love the drink selection also.

My visit here was unplanned, I was originally going to go to Qdoba for lunch with a friend. I noticed that the place was finally open, since I would pass it often when I go to work and they were in the process of opening the place. I asked my friend if she'd like to try it out. When I walked in, it reminded me of Qdoba but for pizza. The staff asked if we have been there before and being newbies they happily explained how it worked. The staff was very outgoing and friendly. I created my own with pineapples, ham, bacon and spinach. Nice individual pizzas for $7 with unlimited options for toppings. They had a variety of toppings, seemed like they weren't missing any regular pizza toppings. The service was quick. I thought the original sauce was pretty standard for pizza, it was flavorful. They had other options for sauce other than the red sauce, I have yet to try any others. The toppings on the pizza were light, which probably explains the price and having as many toppings as you want. I'll remember next time to ask for extra. The pizza was good, but I was not happy with the burnt edges. I ate as much of the pizza as I could and avoided eating any of the burnt crust. Also, kind of random, I LOVE the ice they dispense. On a hot day, enjoying their lemonade, and crunching on their ice crystals. AHHH! Overall I enjoyed my first visit there and I will be coming back for more. It's a nice experience away from the run of the mill, dominos and pizza hut pizza. I wish they would deliver though! That would be a dream come true lol

For a small place. This place is good. Great concept. They charge buy the size of the pizza not the toppings. So load the toppings on.

Our Family has MOD fever. How can you beat a delicious thin crust pizza, custom made to your unique liking, cooked to perfection in a limited time, at a very reasonable rate. My suggestion for those meat lovers out there, order the Mad Dog with extra pepperoni, extra sauce, extra cheese, green pepper, and extra sausage. The small pizza's are a good size for children under the age of 10 and our Daughter really likes the milkshakes. Get there before 5PM as this place can get crowded. As a bonus during the summer months, there is a classic and modern car show on Saturdays at 5PM in the parking lot across the street.

I think I've eaten here three times this week...Their pizza is pretty bomb-digz. $7 will get you an individual size pizza with as many toppings as you like. After hearing that, I was expecting Subway quality ingredients, but I couldn't have been more wrong. All their ingredients are super fresh and delicious! The only thing thing that sucked was the price considering I could get a large pizza elsewhere for only $5. But I suppose that's just paying for quality. Good food, chill workers, kinda lame price, but worth it in the end. Also note to the owner: Please bring one down to San Diego, CA. Please.

This place has a winning combination... Fast service, great prices, friendly folks, and well-lit restaurant. I've been there a handful of times and always enjoyed it. The thin crust brick oven style is so good and doesn't leave you feeling bloated and full of grease like the other guys. Their shakes are amazing, and their beverage options are great too!
