Love the prawn and papaya salad and they serve a great bowl of Pho. Pitched the vermicelli bowl as Vietnamese Spaghetti and the kids loved it!

Wanted to eat somewhere new and found this place. Arrived early (10:30am, midweek) and was the only customer there the entire visit. Initial service was good and my water was refilled as frequently as needed. The food I ordered tasted fresh and was delicious. I'd definitely take friends/family there. However, the reason behind the 3 stars was, when I finished my meal I must have easily waited 10-15 minutes after finishing and observed the server talk on her cell phone at least twice. While I ate my food, I faced 3 employees that sat a few tables away also facing me which was a bit awkward. One on a laptop, one eating, and my server on her cell phone...all violations of business etiquette. This shouldn't be done in front of customers. Then 4 other individuals that appeared to be family members arrived which added to the distraction. I would most definitely eat there again but the employees need to realize how important it is to pay attention to the guests from beginning to end...consistently! And find somewhere else to eat and take a break...it gives the wrong impression when all the employees are sitting in the dining area and doing other things. Am I being critical? Perhaps. But I've worked in the food/restaurant industry and understand the traditional do's and dont's. Not to mention that I've frequented MANY different restaurants all over. Happy dining!

Taste of Pho is my new go-to place for pho!! While their beef pho is just lovely, there is a special place in my heart (or is it my tummy?) for their veggie pho with beef broth. I love that they give you big chunks of baby bok choy, broccoli, baby corn, and mushrooms! (I request no carrots because I hate them.) I also ask them to skip the tofu because they only have the deep-fried kind with the tough skin. What keeps me coming back though is the "sate," a special kind of chili paste they have in clear jars. It's thicker than the typical chili sauce or Sriracha that's on each table. You HAVE to try it. Makes the broth super flavorful and spicy (not to say that the broth can't stand on its own. It can and does!). The spring rolls with shrimp and pork are good, but the real star is the charbroiled chicken spring roll. I think it's the same meat they use in their bun, so it is chock full of flavor. Their deep fried egg rolls with pork, shrimp, mushroom, and other veggies is also a winner at only $2.95. We went with a Vietnamese friend and his bon bo hue was amazing. The broth was spicy, deep, and flavorful. Even he was impressed, though he did ask for no blood cubes or pig knuckles. They also have a nice big screen TV that always has the football game on. Oh and they also have a child's portion of pho, perfect for your little rug rat.

Great service and friendly workers here at Taste of Pho. I loved their Com dishes (rice meals). The location and prices are great as well :P

Below average on all the food than I ever eaten in a Vietnamese restaurant. Go somewhere else.

I didn't get a chance to write a review when my husband and I took a chance on this place last week. Was going to give them 3 stars-- partially because the pho was good for me, however tiny portions for some reason....my husband got the bun bo hue, but he wasn't fully impressed with it. Overall, the meal was decent. I can't complain, and we even thought of trying it out again with other dishes that they had. HOWEVER, when I went to balance my check and checked my bank statements today, I was annoyed at how this restaurant would give themselves MORE tip on "their" final bill, especially when I gave them a standard amount considering I didn't think the service was all that or great customer service. I HATE IT when restaurants do that, especially when it comes to Asian ones who "apparently" think they deserve the tip, and I'm Asian--not that I want "special treatment", but come on!!! Do an honest business...doesn't matter what nationality any one is...hence my last review on "What the Pho" in Bothell...which they did that too... 2 damn Pho restaurants claiming more TIP within the last 2 wks. Total BS!!! I mean, if I don't get at least a refill on water or them asking if things are "ok"...(not that I care), but if you're going to put more money into YOUR RESTAURANT's account without my consent, that's full of BULLSHIT! I'm banning these 2 places. I so hate it when businesses want to cheat their customers and it doesn't matter how small the amount...if you cheat, you cheat and I have no tolerance for that....

Pho was pretty good. Could be a little more tastier. Really enjoyed their BBQ chicken/fresh spring rolls. Good friendly service.

Taste of Pho can be found just off exit 181A, I-5 northbound. At the off-ramp, stay in the middle lane and turn left at the light, go under I-5 (stay in right lane), and take a right at the first strip mall. Taste of Pho occupies the site formerly known as Sushi Taka then Hokkaido restaurant. The interior is modern and simple. Very clean and updated. Sometimes, you will notice the owner's infant kids using the place as a daycare, but they are well-behaved. Service is quick and pleasant. As with all Vietnamese restaurants that serve pho, I mostly go for the Pho Đac Biet ("special" pho) as my standard of judgment. This is like judging the quality of rice at a Japanese restaurant. If any restaurants skimp on this dish, then I have a pretty good idea on the quality of the rest of their dishes. The presentation is standard; however, this is an easy statement to say that this is the cleanest, clearest bowl of pho in Lynnwood. The broth is tasty, as expected and the herbs are deep-colored and pungent. A good bowl of soup noodle. For those who miss the high-quality food that was ubiquitous during the Sushi Taka days, you can go back now and be happy once again. As a side note, Sushi Taka was revered as the best overall sushi experience in the area back in the 1990s. Even George Benson, the famous jazz virtuoso, approved.

I must say their portions are just as good as their prices. And yes this place accepts cards also. What I really want to point out is the amount of Pho they give you whether it's a small, medium, or large size the soups tend to almost fill up the top. I've experienced a few places that give you a Large size bowl but with a small amount of everything. Their spring rolls are terrific with just the perfect thickness to it. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

Very good Pho! Tea and water flavored with delicious Liche fruits is complimetary and I am on my way to the store to search for more Liche fruit. Good friendly service and a very good value.

So good! This is definitely going to be my go-to place for pho. The food is great and the prices are good too. Glad they accept cards, since I hate carrying cash with me.

I've only got take-out from Taste of Pho, never dined in, so I can't rate on the service. I've had the pork and chicken Bahn mi sandwiches, the shrimp spring rolls, and veggie spring rolls several times, all are delicious! However, today I had the rare beef pho for the first time. It was very tasty and flavorful. However, it must have had a ton of MSG, because I've had a bad headache and felt queasy every since I ate it.

My favorite pho place. I love coming here for a quick, cheap place to eat. Good pho, quick service, clean restaurant. I usually order "P15" which is the pho dac biet (rare beef, brisket, tendon, crunchy flank and tripe) or "B2" rice vermicelli with grilled pork and egg rolls. Both very good. Service: quick Ambiance/view: The restaurant is clean, no frills. Parking: The restaurant has dedicated parking in front. Verdict: Always satisfies my pho/Vietnamese food craving!

I've been meaning to leave a review for some time now. I've given this place multiple chances. Came here based on the Yelp reviews. I should've known not to go here since a lot of the reviewers seemed to be Caucasian or different types of Asians. Lol. I'm Vietnamese, so as you can see, I know what real good pho is supposed to taste. Haha (sorry Yelpers!) I'll admit the first time i came here, it was decent. I ordered a few rice dishes and they were okay. Better, compared to the other Viet restaurants in the Lynnwood area. Here are the cons: -overpriced viet food and they jipp you on meat in the pho. -ordered a BEEF pho broth for my daughter and they gave me their nasty CHiCKEN broth. When I told them that it wasn't Beef broth, they looked at me like I didnt know what I was talking about, so I started speaking to them in Viet so they know that they can't fool me! (Lol). Still, they tried to deny it. -hubby ordered salad rolls. True, viet salad rolls gives you at least 3-4 pieces of shrimp and some pork meat cut into thin slices. This place gives you a shrimp that is cut in half. HALF! That's it! Oh and a super duper thin slice of cha Lua (deli pork meat.) -one time i ordered an Avocado smoothie and they used bubble tea powder instead of actual avocados thinking I wouldn't know the difference because they thought I was some other kind of Asian. Haha. Never. Ever. Again. Viet, you know what im talking about, so don't come here and waste your money on a place that charges more than your standard pho places and gives you barely any meat and other stuff too!

There are approximately 1 million pho places within a 5 mile radius of where I live (give or take a few). Taste of Pho is in an unremarkable strip mall close to high traffic areas, but not visibly prominent from the street. It's too bad for those that miss this in the Lynnwood sea of pho stops; this pho is delicious! It was pretty packed for an uneventful weekday night, however, so apparently word has gotten out. I had the pork and shrimp spring rolls and the pho with rare beef and meatballs. The only thing I wasn't crazy about were the meatballs, but the flavorful broth more than made up for it. I don't typically get meatballs anyway, so no big disappointment there. The restaurant itself is clean and spaced out, which is a nice change from other places where you're close enough to catch a little broth splatter from your noodle-slurping strangers the next table over. The service is awesome--you'll be taken care of by more than one person and they definitely hustle, but not as if they're trying to rush you out of there. I've wanted to eventually give all the pho places near me a shot, but Taste of Pho makes that a challenge. I might just be hooked!

If you like food poisoning, this is your place! I had the veggie pho which was fine but my friend had the meatball pho and it made him very sick, what a let down.

Ucch. I'm writing this review in the hopes that the owners will read it and make some changes. I love Pho. LOVE. I love it. And being a vegetarian, I have to be very careful to make damn sure the broth is as vegetarian as the tofu. Their pho is lovely and has lots of vegetables. I have eaten here at least a dozen times and this is my gripe. The food is good. The service is fine. BUT EVERY TIME I AM IN THERE- THEY CLEAN THE TABLES WITH A NOXIOUS, NASTY BLUE WINDEX-LIKE CLEANER that fills the restaurant with the odor of table cleaner when I am trying to enjoy my food. I have asked them (every time I am in there) to please not spray all around because I end up only tasting the cleaner and not my pho. HEY!!!! restaurant owner - I like your pho and you are close to my house. PLEASE FIND ANOTHER CLEANING PRODUCT. PLEASE. That nasty blue liquid is toxic and smells like crap. Please. I am begging you. Be considerate. Don't you WANT me to be tasting your food instead of blue poison spray?? Here endeth the rant.

This is a very nice, family run pho house. The place is extremely clean, which is always a plus. I really liked their beef pho - very good flavors. Last night I tried their bun dac diet - their grilled pork is fantastic.

This is probably my favorite spot to get a bowl of pho. The food is fine every single time I come and the workers are so kind. I asked them if they could make my food a bit quicker because I had class within the next hour and they were so nice about it.

This review is specifically for their banh mi. Little meat in the sandwich-more bread than anything else. Not particularly expensive however if you're opting for banh mi, there are several neighboring restaurants that do it justice. Rather disappointing.

Second Pho experience in Lynnwood since I've moved from Seattle. Better than the Pho I had near Alderwood Mall, however not the best I've ever had. My boyfriend and brother really enjoyed their beef pho but neither seemed excited about it. Just another bowl of pho. My veggie pho was loaded with veggies (brocolli, baby corn, onions, fried tofu) but the broth was disappointing. Incredibly weak. Not even a good dose of lime, hoison, spice or soy sauce could give it the brothiness and heartiness that I desired. A little spendy for pho ($7 for a large bowl). Maybe i'm just to used to the $4/5 bowls of past. Still think Than brothers is the best. However, they had a large menu and some things looked incredible! I think I will be back for some appetizers and a bahn mi but not for the pho.

A great new addition to the panoply of pho options in Lynnwood. I figured moving north out of downtown was gonna kill me when I wanted good asian, pho or otherwise, but in every way this town has proved me exactly, completely, and totally wrong. There are multiple pho places in town that each deserve being my regular filling station, so many that there are always a couple that make me kick myself and think "maaaaan...I haven't been *there* in how long? What's wrong with me?" Taste of Pho is only going to compound that problem further. Even I can only eat pho so many nights a week. The location could be a little better. This stretch of 44th doesn't have the most inviting strip mall exteriors in town, and that's really going some, because Lynnwood has some pretty grotty-looking strip malls. But we're not here to sit outside. We're here to go in and eat. Like another place I just got around to reviewing this week, ToP has one of those dining rooms that feels nice and puts you in a good mood despite seemingly being made entirely out of plastic. Seriously, other than a few bits of carpentry and some chair coverings, virtually every inanimate object in the room seems to have been cast from petrochemicals at some point in its construction. Thankfully, that includes the chopsticks...not such a fan of the disposable wooden chopsticks, for whatever reason. But as soon as you walk in, the combination of the clean, bright, colorful room and the yummy smells have you looking forward to your meal. They have the whole gamut of vietnamese classics on the menu--pho, vermicelli bowls, banh mi, rolls, a few other entrees and apps, smoothies. Nice big multipage menu with plenty of options. I had, as I almost always do, the rare beef and meatballs pho. Everything was great--condiments, meat, noodles, and especially the broth. The broth has a great savory, slightly earthy flavor, a bit marrowy. Delicious. Neither overly salty not spicy or sweet. Nice and clear, though dark. Good stuff. I was way too full. They have three sizes of bowl and I really need to throttle down to medium. I'm never as hungry as I think I am anymore, now that I am grown up, but I still feel obliged to clean my plate...another childhood-ingrained eating habit. I'll definitely be back again and again. Lynnwood is fast becoming pho row.

This is hands down my favorite pho place in the Seattle area and a popular lunch place for my co-workers and I! :) This place is clean and cosy with attentive staff. But the best part about this place is their fresh and flavor-filled food! The broth is delicious and is by far the best I've ever had! I totally slurp up the last drops! :D I most definitely will keep going back!

  • Jorge L.

The place is nice and family owned. You can see the elder ones sitting at deep part of the table watching their customer eat. That was nice, it showed care. Now, the Pho Ga was good, it wasn't that impressive. With crispy garlic floating it was nice, not generous with the basil though. Sometimes I think my accent just lives Orientals just clueless. Back to the food. The soup was abundant, but lack a more powerful flavor. didn't have the chance to go back and try something different.

It slipped my mind that I had yet to review this spot O' Pho that was highly suggested by fellow Yelper and friend, Tom B. So, although it's been a while since I've been here, I have been meaning to get back and will in the future. I was feeling really crappy one day several weeks ago and wanted some of the healing power that only spicy beef Pho seems to give me. When I'm sick, it's the only food that leaves me feeling genuinely better after I eat it. I opted for takeout since I didn't wanna subject others to my plague, so I got the small/regular size to go, and also an order of eggrolls. Upon getting it home, I found everything to be neatly separated and packaged well. I made myself up a bowl and added my own garlic chili sauce (which I didn't notice they had or not, but I always have a jar in my fridge.) The broth was very good. It had a really nice flavor and the meat and veggies/garnish were super fresh and tasty. I'd have to say one of the better places in Lynnwood to get Pho, and there are quire a few. The eggrolls were also pretty decent. Price wise, they are comparable to the other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. I will definitely be back for a return visit because the food was good and satisfying, and actually after eating it, and getting lots of fluids and a good nights' rest, I was feeling about 50 percent better the next day. Pho is pretty awesome stuff.

I love this place for its sandwiches. They are huge and pretty cheap. The Pho, which you think would be amazing, could have stronger flavor which is the main reason it loses a star. Don't get me wrong, it was pretty good. The broth was nice but could have used a bit more spice or something. The spring rolls aren't either. The restaurant itself is pretty clean and the staff is friendly.

Uhhm..... Taste of.... HEAVEN!....... Some of the best chicken spring rolls I've ever had. Just amazing!.... Delicious pho too! This is our new joint to order take out with at work. Definitely the best in Lynnwood! Very nice owners & staff too.

Eat it, maybe, skip it = skip it. We went to Taste of Pho with high expectations because of its 4 star rating, but it was just so-so to us. The prices were mid-range, small for $5.75. We ordered a chicken and then a beef pho. The beef broth was mild and sweet, but good. The beef pieces were tender and chewy. The chicken broth had crispy onions as well as regular onions which gave it an oniony flavor, it was ok. While we were eating we heard a loud, "eww!" from the kitchen, which wasn't encouraging. All-in-all it was decent, but we've had much better pho.

The co-workers and I eat here 5-6 times per WEEK! The take-out is just as good as in the restaurant. You cannot go wrong with the rare beef pho, but their D2 pho is a real unique treat. Shrimp, rare beef, and a special blend of spice paste make up this dish and its awesome. Their sandwiches are a bargain at ~$4.... They are huge. The fresh rolls are like $2.95 and they are very big for fresh rolls. Makes me wanna go pho slurping.

I visited this restaurant due to wanting some Pho real bad and reading the reviews. As many people have stated there is a plethora of Pho places in the area and it's hard to decipher the bad from the good, or in this case, the great. I rated this 5 stars because the service was good and as far as Pho goes, this is the best I've had. I guess I'm not a super reliable source since I've never left Seattle and its surrounding areas for this delightful soup. Nonetheless, this has been my favorite so far. I only ate soup, so I can't rate anything else on the menu. I ate the veggie noodle soup which was marvelous. I went with beef broth (the way to go), but they also gave you the option for vegetable broth. The broth was fantastic ; fragrant, deep, rich, etc. The kind that you could just hover over with you face and smell it forever. The soup came with not only tofu, but bok choy, carrots, mushroom, and other goodies. I believe my food friend ordered the Pho with rare beef. She seemed to enjoy that one a lot. She got a small, I got a large. The large size? Huge! I mean, I eat a lot, but had to take about half of it home with me. Yummmmm.

Great to have a good pho place within walking distance of the Marriott hotel I am staying in. I love Banh Xao fried crepes which they have here. The soup is good and priced right. I live in the Bay Area and this place is as good as the places down South. They could add a little more meat to the soup but really nothing to complain about. They also need the traditional Vietnamese coconut drinks to complete the menu.

I freakin love me some Pho! Being a vegetarian, pho can be an easy meal choice. I've been here numerous times now, each time is eh-ok. This place has some funky tasting tofu in there soup. Almost musky? Broth is great and its loaded with veggies. They also have fresh rolls that are pretty forgettable. I will probably only come back if I'm severely hungover

The best Pho I've had besides my own! No, really. I make some good Pho. We llive in Las Vegas and used to go around Asia Town, as I like to call it, until I figured out how to make this myself. We don't venture out any longer. Tried this place because Seattle was cold, we were in a hotel, and this had good reviews. My brother-in-law had never tried or heard of Pho. He ordered something else from the place. We gave him a tease of our Pho (vegetarian and raw meat). He was then a sad little panda and could no longer enjoy his meal because of the greatness of our Pho. We ate Pho 3 out of the 4 days we were in Seattle. Yes, it's that good and at a great price.

This weekend my boy was sick and wanted some chicken pho. He had come here once before and really like it, so I drove over, passing many other pho places on my way. Now, I work right by here and my co-workers were always raving about the sandwiches. So, I ordered two large chicken pho, for the boy to have a few meals out of it and ordered a chicken sandwich for myself, minus the mustard and the jalapeño. The boy loved the pho. I LOVED the sandwich. It was huge and only $3.50! I'm so glad I tried it, I'll be going back for sure. Very nice employees too!

Let me explain. I come from Southern California, about a mile away from little Saigon. I've eaten some really good Pho in my time. Taste of Pho is the best i've had. Period. The only thing that they lack is in their meatballs, IMO. They aren't bad, but the texture could be better. Their broth is god damned delicious, their place is very clean, the service is outstanding, and their prices are perfect. I've eaten all over the east side and even in Seattle and haven't had a better bowl of soup yet. I've had a few of the Pho dishes here, their Bhan mi, and their appetizers. I've yet to be disappointed. If you are looking for a Pho place...you need to come here. They definitely use a lot of MSG in their broth and if you get the large, you will get a headache, but it's well worth it! Their chili sauces and pastes are amazing, as well. I absolutely love this place. We eat here at least once a week. I couldn't recommend this restaurant higher!

In the 5 weeks I lived in Brier, we ate at Taste of Pho about 3 - 4 times. My pho cravings had increased upon discovering this spot. I always get the Medium P9 (Pho with Rare Beef, Flank, Tendon, and Tripe) while my fiance gets a small order of pho and a banh mi that is absolutely fantastic. The meals are so affordable, it's hardly every packed on a weekday evening and the service is great. And by great service, I mean, they take your order, serve you quickly, ask if you are okay, ensure your water is refilled, and don't bug you very much after that (I don't like it when servers constantly ask if I'm doing okay. It interrupts conversation. If I want something, I'll ask for it!) I will say one thing though: Steer away from the meatball pho. It's just not the best they have to offer. I am sad that I no longer live near the area! Taste of Pho, I miss you already!

This was our first visit here. I think I may have set the bar too high with all the great reviews I read. We split a medium Pho and a pork sandwich, just the right amount of food for a light lunch. Unfortunately the soup was not all that hot and was missing the rare beef, or it sat and cooked and got cold. The sandwich was over toasted or stale, too hard to eat in spots. I could over hear the family next to us with valid complaints...asked for no onion-got onion, asked if it came with peanuts-got no peanuts. I was not impressed, I can imagine we will give them a second shot, in being we eat so much Pho.

Holy cow, this place is delicious. I mean, I LOVE Vietnamese food, and most Pho places are tasty, but I was REALLY REALLY impressed. The Banh Mi sandwiches are out-of-this-world delicious. The bread is PERFECT...crunchy crust without being too hard. The meat is grilled to perfection, with lovely fresh veg....yum yum yum. And SO SO dang affordable. Honestly, while I am a huge fan of Pho, I think that I may only eat sandwiches here, because they're sooooooo great. The Pho (rare beef and meatballs) was also quite good. The broth is lovely and complex, and definitely served hot enough to cook the beef. There's a hint of something that's almost "allspice" that's truly awesome, too. The "small" is definitely PLENTY of food. The meatballs have a great taste...their texture was a bit unpleasant to me (it was super firm, with almost a pop/squeaky feel as I bit into them, but that's a small complaint on an otherwise delicious lunch. It's almost always full of people (which is a great sign). Staff is friendly and pretty efficient at serving everyone quickly.

  • Vicki B.

Pho was delicious and so was the grilled pork banh mi. Only reason why I gave 4 stars is because both items needed more meat. Other than that, the flavor of the broth and sandwich were really good!

YAY! I'm a fan is correct. wonderful full flavored beef broth, tender chewy noodles, 3 size bowls, quality meat. whats not to like about this joint? clean interior, friendly staff, cheap prices stop by evergreen donuts when you are done and its almost guaranteed to be a good day/afternoon/night/whenever

Friendly service and the cleanliness of the front of the house are it's best attributes. The Goi Coun spring rolls $2.95 tasted fresh with a very good dipping sauce. A great value. But the reason we went was for Pho' and that was our disappointment. The portion size was small compared to others we 've tried, also light on the meat and lacking a hearty flavored broth. Best Pho' we've had is still by far Vietnam Pho' in Ballard on 15th Ave NW. a real gem.

With the plethora of pho restaurants out there, this one certainly stands out. Wonderful combo beef pho, with hot, fragrant, and tasty broth. The tripe was crunchy and not too chewy. The tendon was sliced thin (they way it should be) and not in large masses. Condiments were fresh. I didn't sense much MSG in the broth. Portions are just a little on the small side, compared to other pho restaurants. Would also have been nice if they could include meatballs in the combo pho. Prices are average. Interior is clean and pleasant. Service is always courteous and attentive.

Love that this place opens at 10 am, I hope I can remember to get some morning pho sometime. I also am thankful they have a veggie broth for veggie pho. I could have used some extra lime, but couldn't catch the waiter to ask for it. I'm sure my love for it would greatly improve with extra lime, yum. Glad I also was able to locate the soy sauce as my table had two fish sauces instead. I also enjoyed my veggie spring rolls.

So this was one of the places we would go when are kitchen was under remodel. It is a simple Pho place with good food and it is run by a nice family. I love the Bun with grilled pork and the shrimp cake wrapped in sugar cane. The shrimp cake in one of the best I have had. They have a good menu and reasonable prices, as should any good Pho place.

Good pho is pretty easy to find in this area, but Taste of Pho is a cheap, fast, and tasty option for anyone in Lynnwood craving a little Vietnamese goodness. I had appetizer K3 - Bì Cuon which is a pork spring roll. For my meal, I tried the P3 - Pho with Rare Beef. Let's just get this out of the way: I was unimpressed with the appetizer. It seemed a little gritty, I think from the pork. The sauce had just a slight hint of spice to it, which added some flavor, and it was pretty cheap, so I can't say I was hugely disappointed. They might reconsider this particular item on the menu, though, because I don't think it represents their other food very well. As for the pho - yum! Like I said, it's easy to find good pho in the area, but this place is definitely up there with some of the best I've had. The broth was hearty and rich, although it was just a tad too sweet for my liking. There was a good amount of meat in the soup; more than I can say for some of the places I've been in the past. After adding a little Sriracha it was a grade-A meal. I wish I could've finished all of the broth. I ended up getting the medium size which was perfect for me, but they have two other sizes as well. Service was great - the waiter, a 16-year-old helping out his parents, was friendly, professional, and all smiles. For an appetizer, two sodas, and my medium bowl of pho I paid $13, which is a great deal to me. Food came out quickly and payment was a breeze even though we split things weirdly. This kind of service makes me happy to give a tip at the end of the meal. Overall, this place is a solid 4 stars. I'd give it one more if they reworked the pork spring roll to be a little less gritty, but I'm not usually one to order appetizers at places like this anyway. The bottom line here is that Taste of Pho has quality food, fast and friendly service, and great pricing. I'll be back often.

I LOVE eating here! My fiancé and I usually order spring rolls and a bowl of pho each for under $20! I eat the Pho Ga (chicken) & it is the best I have had. I could eat here everyday:)

Awesome! Absolutely, delicious Pho. We had a large veggie and a large #1 meatball and meat Pho, which were both flavorful and satisfying. We normally have leftovers but not tonight. We just couldn't stop eating! The real champion though, was the tofu bahn mi. Holy Smokes! The best EVER. Perfect crunchy and soft baguette, warm spicy sauteed tofu and onions, creamy mayo, crispy pickled veggies and the ideal amount of jalepano. Even my, "on the fence about tofu," dining companion gobbled up half of my sandwich with obvious pleasure. We were there slightly before closing and I had to know when they opened in the morning so I could know when I could come back and get another tofu bahn mi asap. The staff were attentive and very kind. The type of people that make their food with love. Yippee! A new favorite pho restaurant and it is in Lynnwood.

The service was fast and efficient and the food came out crazy fast. I also like that the pho seems to have more onions in it than other Pho places. yum!!!

In a world full of pho places (like the Seattle area), this place is great! Esp if you are in the area or live in the northend. On top of that, it's in a terrible-seeming little strip-mall that actually also houses a Redwing shoe store AND a doughnut shop! In terms of food, the pho is great! The broth is tasty and clean. It all comes together nicely into a bowl of deliciousness that will satisfy. The bahn mi are good. Not my absolute fave, but they are def good. In terms of the atmosphere, it's clean and almost fancy. It's not a bad place to sit for a nice meal. All in all, it's a great place to stop by for a bowl of pho, which has seemingly been all the rage for ages. Hits the spot and does the trick.

After hearing my best friend rave about this place, I swayed my wife (who usually isn't into Asian) to try it with me - its near her office. The food was really good, eggrolls and two Vietnamese sandwiches (Banh mi) with tax: only $12.80! The service was fine although the waiter (son of the owner?) kind of vanished when we wanted the bill. So I went to the till and dealt with it - no biggie. My wife liked it a lot and commented on how tasteful the ambience was "for a strip mall in Lynnwood"! Yeah, maybe there is more Asian in our future!

This is by far, the best Pho I've had! Chicken noodle was EXCELLENT and just what the doctor ordered. Their fresh pork and shrimp roll was filled perfectly! The sauce was AMAZING! Definitely going again to try the rest of their menu! I think their not so friendly service is more of a language issue but it's all good coz of the great food :)

This my new primary place to go for Vietnamese food now that they've moved in. I primarily get take out, but just ate inside the restaurant for the first time. The people that work at this place are very friendly and provide pleasant customer service. I've tried a few different menu items and I have enjoyed them all...pho, pork and egg roll rice noodle bowl, grilled pork vietnamese sandwich, fresh spring rolls. My only complaint is that when getting takeout, they supply a very small portion of hoisin sauce, combined with sriracha sauce. However, I'm guessing I could fix my problem by simply asking for more sauce. I'm sure they would be happy to oblige. An issue about the restaurant itself is it's location. I love the vicinity and distance from my home and the convenience it provides. However, getting in and out of the location can be problematic depending on the time of day. I hope this does not deter people from patroning Taste of Pho. I want them to be around for a very long time.

Good pho and fairly priced. Dining room is big and good amount of parking. Although I have to say the portions are not similar to another place I go to in Bellevue. The large here (w/ extra noodles) was not as big as I'm use to. Could be this one instance, but I'll definitely eat at this place again and see if the portion is consistent.

I am so glad this little gem is right down the street from my house. The food here is good. Both the Pho and the Bahn Mi are very good and the price is fair. Also the family who owns the place is very polite. I love both the Tofu Bahn Mi and Pho and get them interchangeably depending on what I am in the mood for. Honestly I have not been able to find a Vietnamese place near me I like any better.

it's about time Lynnwood gets accessible quality pho joints. The staff here is always prompt and friendly, food is fresh and consistent... ambiance and decor is pretty nice for pho restaurant standards if you care about that kind of shit. I personally don't, and go where the broth is the best. I prefer 'Pho 99' over 'taste of pho', but my wife prefers it here. Being that they are blocks away from each other and 5 minutes away from my house, it's hard for me to choose.

Excellent broth. Tasty noodles and the staff is awesome!! My son loves the chicken fried rice and I thought it was amazing too. Come see what you are missing. The Tran's should step up their game and see what real Pho is all about...

Went back to lynnwood to visit the folks and of couuurse we had to go out for Pho the first thing! Hit up this new place~ Indoor decor was nice. Grand opening = 15% off. The front desk guy is cute. The food was good and the service a bit too friendly. At least my water was always full. Ordered a shrimp appetizer for a little over $2 a rice dish with short ribs (DELICIOUS! GET THIS!!!!) $7-8 bucks? and a thai ice tea $2.50 (They even add tapioca balls!) varied menu for those of you who don't like pho and prefer rice or a vietnamese sandwich packed with meat. will upload photos soon. wish they would give free dessert like creampuffs or greentea icecream

I think I found my go to spot if I'm ever in this area!!! The broth is super flavorful n I love it when it comes with ALOT of green onions n all those other little fixings. The price of there bowls are super cheap n pretty good size portions.

I'd definitely give 3 for a typical, nothing special pho, fast service and the price. Yes, we enjoyed it but we had better. We had p9, p7, salad, banh mi pork. We will be back because it's located couple blocks from my house.

Been here once. The restaurant is clean and people running the place are very nice. The meat was a good quality also, I'd say the meat here tastes better than most of the pho places I've been to. Problem? Broth was way too salty. Not sure if its always this salty or it was just this once. Will be going again!

I ordered for take-out about 30 minutes before closing on a Sunday night. I ordered three different items and two drinks. "10 minutes," the lady on the phone said. 10 minutes later, my food was ready when I got there and the lady even offered to help my pregnant ass (with toddler in tow) to the car. It was nearly 26$ for a large steak pho, a grilled pork bahn mi, bun ga (chicken vermicelli), and two thai ice teas... I'm a little bummed about the total but if it's as good as other Yelper say, it's worth it. Well, it really wasn't. My son's vermicelli was okay but the chicken was a little tough. The bread for my boyfriend's bahn mi was not toasted, seemed stale, and the pork wasn't very tasty. Now, my pho... the broth was pretty bland & I ended up adding a good amount of hoisin to make up for the lack of flavor. There were also very few noodles. I'll give this place another chance for dining in and update later.

We popped in here about a half hour before closing time on a Friday night and it wasn't busy. Immediately it smelled like a great place for Vietnamese food. I wanted to try the Pho but since that's usually all we eat at Pho places we decided to try something different. It's always encouraging to see a big menu in mostly Vietnamese writing. Their "Special Dish" was listed as Banh Xeo or Vietnamese pancakes which we'd heard about recently on Anthony Bourdain's "No Reservations" show and really wanted to try. We also ordered fried rice with pork and shrimp. The rice came out very quickly and looked beautiful. It tasted a little bland until we put some Siracha on it and that really bumped up the flavors. The texture was excellent. The only con to this meal was that we didn't get our dishes at the same time. The rice came out immediately, then we had to wait probably 10 minutes more for the Banh Xeo. It was almost like they only had one surface to cook on and had to wait for each item to be done before they could cook the next one. The pancakes were so yummy though! Nice crispy wrapping around pork, shrimp and bean sprouts. We wrapped that in some lettuce leaves with basil, cilantro and fresh pickled veggies and dipped in the chili sauce. It was heaven, messy, but heaven! Definitely going back to try the Pho soon!

This is my fav spot for Pho in the north end. We dine here at least once a week and always get great pho and service. We havent tried many other dishes other than the sandwiches which are pretty good and a bargain too! IF your in the north end and are craving some pho this is a great place!

Awesome Pho - authentic flavors. I had the special pho which has tenderloin if I recall correctly. Excellent broth which left me just wanting lots more. I also ordered the rice with pork chop. "Com Tam" roughly translated means broken rice. You don't see lots of viet restaurants selling rice in this manner but I'm thankful every time I see it. The pork had good taste and was perfectly cooked. It's so easy to overcook pork in these dishes to be just slight tough but this place did it perfectly. Well done.

I am super picky about my Pho, if it doesn't compare to mom's or my favorite places in So Cal, then it certainly won't do! This place I am happy to say, meets my expectations and then some! The broth is perfectly beefy and very fragrant! I love that you can choose between Small, Medium and Large. I tend to go towards P15, it's the special and it is surely that special! I gotta have my tripe, tendon, rare beef, brisket, and crunchy flank! Their eggrolls are also good too! Their calamari, is eh, I don't like the marinara like sauce that comes with it. Their goi cuon is alright, but I've had better. They have a good rice dish as well! C4 is the dish to get, pork chop, shrimp, shredded pork with skin, and pork loaf. Yum! If you're not in the mood for pho, I highly suggest Mi Saigon. Yellow egg noodle soup, topped with pork, fish balls, and shrimp, swimming in a sweet porky, garlicky broth! It is good peeps! Even better with their chili sate sauce!!! I don't recommend their Bun Bo Hue though, it's definitely a miss!Prices are awesome, and highly wallet friendly. The Mr and I walked out yesterday with a belly full of noodle hot soup, and two orders of egg rolls for under $22 before tip! So glad to have found a place, to kinda substitute my other favorite joint ,when I don't feel like going down south. The staff are friendly, and attentive, water is always refilled!

We needed to to to Redwing Shoes in Lynnwood and ended up there hungry. We found the "Taste of Pho" just a few doors down. The food was outstanding. We had chicken pho, banh mi (also chicken) and the Lemongrass rice/chicken dish. It was all terrific - super fresh and top quality ingredients. And they ace'd my other two criteria: (a) the waiter was friendly and (b) the barhroom was spotless. Thank you for a terrific meal. We wish you were in our neighborhood!

Best pho in the area, hands down. Had the Veggie/tofu pho and it was fantastic. The broth was flavorful and delicious, and my bowl was filled to the brim with fresh veggies. The small was $7.50 but it is definitely far from small. My fiance had a large Pho Ga and loved his as well. We will surely be back!

I've been back two or three times since my first review, and I feel my original assessment stands. Great, great food at a low price, with a lot more variety on the menu than most pho places. I will add that you need to be careful when you're leaving. That door WILL swing heavier than it looks and slam you in the ass. Seriously, mind the door.

Thank you Yelpers. My husband and I had a long drive from Seattle to Whistler. We came across this great family run restaurant. Amazing homemade veggie broth in veggie noodle soup. Great balance of flavor between salt, spice, sweet and sour. My husband got beef pho and raved about it too.

Was looking for a Pho place for lunch with a friend and came up with this on a Yelp search and it was a great choice. The restaurant is very spacious and clean. The employees are very friendly and attentive although if you have many questions about the menu it;s a little difficult as it seems many of them speak very limited English. I ordered the veggie pho and it was delicious, packed with carrots, brocooli, mushrooms, bok choy and baby corn, and of course tofu. The veggies are a big plus because most pho restaurants just throw in a few mushrooms with your tofu and call it veggie. My friend had the chicken and all my veggies did leave a bit to be desired by her. We didn't try any of the appetizers but saw other tables with other menu items that looked great. The only disappointment I had was that our meal didn't come with any of the traditional end of meal creampuffs.

I work really close to this restaurant, so I eat here pretty frequently. I really like their vegetarian pho. The soup is good and you get a good amount of tofu and vegetables. The vegetables always taste fresh and don't seem to be from the freezer. I've also had the tofu Banh Mi, but it's not my favorite because I don't like the taste of the tofu marinade. Overall, I like the food and would recommend this place when visiting Lynnwood.

I'm pretty sure the entire place is staffed by one family but that was cool. The server was very friendly and attentive. The Pho was out of this world awesome! The large size is HUGE!!! Great prices too. A true gem in Lynnwood. We'll be back often!

Taste of Pho is by far the BEST pho restaurant around! I have eaten at pho places in Southern California and now in the Seattle area and this place is DELICIOUS! The egg rolls are really really good, the pho is superb and the Banh Mi is excellent. We pretty much eat here at least once a week and have never been disappointed.

Impressive. Most Impressive. I am what I would consider to be a Pho "snob". I am so in my comfort zone with my "regular" Pho place that I get frightened to try somewhere different. I was in this area today for an appointment and hopped on Yelp and read the smashing reviews and decided to give it a try. Upon walking in, the first thing I noticed was how clean the place was. Almost hospital clean. Was greeted by a very friendly Vietnamese man and I ordered a Large #4 Pho to go (Rare Steak and Well done beef brisket). Very reasonably priced and seemed to be a few cents cheaper than my regular Pho hangout. 5 minutes later, he brought it out to me and I was on my way. I got home and busted out my giant glass Pho Bowl, chopsticks and soup spoon and prepared my feast. The Basil was ample and fresh. The bean sprouts and Jalapeno were fresh and a good amount as well. A little container of sauce was included, I put it all in, grabbed my bottle of Sriracha and squeezed the limes and sat down to one of the BEST tasting Pho that I have ever had before. The broth was rich and flavorful and the meat was out of this world. Not one bit of fat on either style of beef in my soup. And very tasty. In fact, if i placed this side by side with a bowl of Pho from my regular place, I might not know the difference. The only thing that was missing was the "free cream puff". But I do not need those extra calories right now and so it was not a big deal. I am glad I checked out "Taste of Pho" because I had a great experience !! It is closer than my usual Pho place. And by looking at their menu they have a good variety of American and Vietnamese dishes. Another plus is that they take credit/debit cards !!! Than Brothers and Pho Vietnam in Ballard are Cash Only. So two thumbs up for this wonderful discovery !!! See you soon !

I've eaten here twice - once for pho, once for bahn mi. In my experience, most great pho places don't make great bahn mi. And most great bahn mi places are delis and so don't serve pho. This place does both really well - and it happens to be about a half a mile from where I work - yay for me!! The pho broth is delicious, the noodles are the right consistency (not too soft) and the plate of veggies and garnishes that accompany the pho are generous and fresh. The bahn mi are delicious - crusty bread, perfectly grilled pork and just the right balance of creaminess, crunch and bite. Service is friendly and fast, the price is right, the place is clean. Highly recommended all around.

Best pho I've had around the Lynnwood area. The beef is tender and very thinly sliced, the broth was perfect and the herbs were fresh. The entire place is really clean and staff are friendly. It can get a little busy during lunch time and for some reason the television is always on mute.

It definitely says something that my boyfriend and I eat here AT LEAST once a week. Srsly. Sometimes more! The family that runs it is super nice and always attentive. Delectable spring rolls, pho, noodle salad, sandwiches, etc, etc, and I'm surprised by the price every time! No matter how hungry I am when I sit down I never end up paying more than $25 (for two people). Really can't say enough good things about this restaurant and the quality of service!

This place calls my name when it's about 11:30. A couple of days ago I went to an upscale, expensive pho place which wasn't worth the money and the food was just ok. It's refreshing to find good food, made fast that won't break the bank. Clean Fast Friendly Inexpensive Tasty Tea pot Convenient Takes credit cards

Eeeek! Server touched our spoon after he had just scratched his nose! Immediately asked for new ones from the another server lol. Ordered a large(decent size) bowl of pho which was perfect! Broth was amazing and all of the meat were tender! Yum! Also ordered the deep fried egg rolls and shrimp & bbq pork fried rice which were also tasty! I highly recommend for you to try it! I will surely be coming back here whenever I am in town!

An update: This is my go to spot while my grandson plays At the Games Workshop store next door! They have great customer service and are very accommodating with to-go orders! My grandson loves pho and they serve it up fresh, hot and offer a variety of meats to mix in with the veggies! On my last visit, I enjoyed the chicken and vegetable stir-fry and the dish was yummy! I have tried their spring rolls and was not disappointed! I am a fan!!

Another Yelp recommendation success! A longer-than-expected day of shopping left us in Lynnwood at dinnertime, which seemed like a bleak situation. But Taste of Pho saved the day with delicious, inexpensive food that was good enough to make the trip back for! Don't be fooled by the blah strip-mall exterior, it's much better than it seems from outside. We stopped in on a Saturday at dinnertime, and the restaurant was still pretty quiet - we were able to walk in and sit down with no waiting. We started with the fresh grilled pork rolls ($3.50), which were freshly made, tender, and tasty. I ordered the beef brisket pho, which was a generous portion with all the usual sides, lots of noodles, and a savory, flavorful broth. At $7, the pho was a buck or two more than I'm used to, but still quite affordable for dinner, and worth the price. I also got a mango "smoothie" which turned out to be more like a milkshake, made with ice cream. It was served in a tall milkshake glass and was very creamy and rich -- a good dessert to share. Service was friendly and our food came out fast. If this place was in my 'hood, I'd be there all the time! As it is, I'm looking forward to going back the next time we're in Lynnwood (or the next time I'm craving those grilled pork rolls).

The food here is still good and consistent to what it was when I first visited. I've been here several times since and while I know I will get a consistent product here, their service has gone downhill. Almost always there are employees on their laptops or hanging out on tables. Sometimes you will be seated, handed menus, and asked for your order without the person so much as looking in your general direction. It's just a very odd feeling. The last time I came here, I found a bug in my pho. I'm sure this happens from time to time in any kitchen, but it wigged me out enough that I couldn't finish it. And I still haven't been able to bring myself back here since.

Came back to this location probably a few times from the last review. Food is excellent as usual and the price is comparable (if not cheaper) to places back in Vancouver. We ordered a few bowls of Pho and a vermicelli bowl. Have to tell you, the vermicelli bowl was a decent size and came with TWO spring rolls. Usually places only give one. Wifi available but not really advertised - just ask for the password. BTW, you have to visit the donut place beside this restaurant!

I eat a lot of vietnamese food and the pho broth here was a little bland for me compared to other pho I have had before. So you can say it has a healthier taste to it? Affordable prices though.

We came here mid-evening on a Friday night because I was feeling a bit under the weather and wanted (needed) some pho. I want to give them 5 stars, but I'm going to take one off because they weren't really friendly. I had a feeling that could change if we were to become regulars. I wouldn't say they were mean, but they weren't as nice to us as they were to others who came in. I ordered the won ton pho, because that's my favorite - I will always order it if it's on the menu. The broth was pholicious, but I would have liked to see more won ton pillows. Before I ordered the pho, though; I ordered the fresh rolls with peanut sauce. Oh my goulash, that peanut sauce was the best I've ever eaten - perfectly sweet with the right texture - the perfect compliment to the rolls. In fact, it was so good I ate the sauce even after the rolls were gone. The rolls were amazing, and the pho was really good, so I think we will give it another try and maybe they will be a little warmer!

Like many others have reported SERVICE HERE SUCKS! They barely acknowledge your presence. Do they see their customers as fellow human beings? Most likely not. Do they not appreciate the customers? Definitely not. They just kind of look at you with a blank stare and mumble the most minimal thing possible to allow for a transaction. That's it. We didn't feel very welcomed there. Too bad because the food was pretty decent (Maybe 3.5-4 stars for food), but the service was more like a 0 to 0.5 star. If they could get better service, they would probably do a lot better.

Our first time here. S1 was OK. B6 was good. C4 was good. Didn't try the pho this time. Would eat here again. But not the sandwiches.

  • Heather M.

I'm a big fan of this place! The pho broth is complex and flavorful, the noodles are always a perfect density, the veggies and condiments are always fresh, their meat is of good quality, and the service is quick (regardless of how busy they are). I personally enjoy the rare beef and brisket, but you really can't go wrong with any pho selection. I also enjoy their banh mi's, which are REALLY difficult to find outside of Seattle. Their buns (I recommend the grilled pork bun) are tasty and filled with healthy ingredients. Their prices are a little high, but definitely compare to most places around the area for a much better product. Go try this place, you won't be disappointed!

Good prices and pretty tasty. A bahn mi sandwich was only 3.75! Like others mentioned, the service isn't great, but while we were there, it wasn't terrible either. Our water glasses were refilled and orders taken not long after we sat down. We were in a group so if was nice to be able to pay separately at the register. Pho broth had good flavor and my vermicelli noodles with chicken and egg rolls was also good. The fried chicken for the appetizers had a good crisp and nice glaze to them.

I'm giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 only because their veggie pho with veggie broth was boring in my opinion. The vegetarian tofu bahn mi is by far the best tofu bahn mi I have ever had. Before I was a veg I had a few regular bahn mi's at various locations around nor-cal, the best being a place called Saigon Sandwiches in San Francisco. This reminds me of that. The amazing bread that has the perfect outer crunchy rind, the pickled carrots and radish, spicy jalapeños, cooling mayo and cilantro, and savory marinated tofu. I've had it a few times now and it's always on point. Do yourself a favor and get one. Or 3. They cost around $4 a piece. Mmmm.

I frequent this pho restaurant on a regular basis. They're about as good as it gets, especially for the price. I typically order the vegetarian pho, and I'm not even a vegetarian. Their sandwiches are also top notch.

P15 Pho Dac Biet (Combo) - 2/5. As a whole, I was not disappointed for my selection. However, some subtle nuances have left me feeling that I've experienced better. Broth was tasty and clean (no MSG), but was a bit murky. Noodles were cooked well, no complaints here. The rare steak was not rare (this is probably my fault, I should have asked for it on the side - BUT it came already mostly cooked). I've had pho on many an occasion and realize meat isn't the center of the dish, but there was very little tripe and tendon. Again, as a whole it didn't disappoint but I've definitely had better.

My family loves this place. The Pho is good, of course. So is the Bahn Mi and the rolls are good, too. And it is pretty inexpensive. Portions seem huge. The interior is... well, the food is good. The service is friendly and fast. You really can't beat it.

Good clean restaurant with plenty of parking at lunch. Air conditioning comes standard (thank goodness in the heat of the summer!) food was decent, however the vegetables in the vermicelli bowl left something to be desired. A little bit of cilantro or Thai basil is always a good add-in to the bowl, but here there were just some bean sprouts, shredded cucumber and carrots, and cabbage. Nothing too exciting. Prices here are reasonable and service is very good. I'd probably come back to try some other items from the menu, as it was a good lunch experience, and they had the World Cup on TV (added bonus!) The server/waitress was quick to refill water whenever it was low, and the location of the restaurant is conveniently right off of I-5. All things considered a nice spot.

I have gone to this place four times so far. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! I found it on yelp on a whim. So I'm glad I looked at yelp. My favorite order is Pho Tai and Cha Gio. The broth used is yummy. The beef in the soup is yummy, the noodles are yummy and the condiments served with the soup always look and tastes fresh. The fried spring rolls are consistant and always have a good taste. I have never had a bad meal here and as long as they stay open, I plan to go. Did I say, I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! If you like Pho and are in the North End, check it out!!!!!!

Why must we keep on punishing ourselves with these subpar pho experiences? With a name like Taste of Pho, you would think that their main focus is on, duh...PHO? Well, one evening when we were feeling like some noodle soup, I quickly yelped some nearby joints and found Taste of Pho. It was within walking distance of our hotel, and we went weary-eyed, but hopeful. So, we went, and entered the restaurant, and it was kind of dim. I'm not so crazy about going to places where it's not well-lit, unless I'm going for a candlelight, romantic type of dinner with Husband. Regardless, we took a seat, and it was near the middle of the restaurant. A bit odd, but not a big issue. Ordered the staples, two bowls of pho dac biet, 1 order of shrimp pork fresh rolls. The rolls came out within 10 minutes of ordering, and were a great size (2 rolls each at about 5" long). Peanut sauce was run of the mill standard, and the vermicelli and shrimp had okay flavor. What we weren't too thrilled about was the use of pork roll. This was our first time ordering shrimp pork rolls and not getting actual thin slices of pork meat. It's not a terrible idea, but it really alters the taste. Pho came out hot and broth was murky and dark. Couldn't see anything but brown powdery stuff. Ick. Once again, we fell victim to either old stock or instant mix. Garnishes were okay, but the basil lacked fragrance. Additionally, there wasn't enough broth for the amount of rice noodles we were given. Meat slices were mediocre and on the fatty side. Anyway, luckily each bowl was about $6 because had it been more, I'd be pretty sad. Ultimately, if you're looking for great tasting pho (which is found with clear, fragrant, hot broth and quality meats), don't come here.

Definitely a decent bowl of pho! Broth tasted fresh and the brisket and tendon was super tender and tasty. I would go here whenever I'm in the neighborhood. It seems to be a family owned restaurant. Usually makes for pretty good service. The service was fast and friendly.

Was craving pho on this cold day with high hopes for a good pho place by our house. Unfortunately this place was a huge disappointment. I ordered a small and my husband ordered a medium. When my bowl came out I could count on one hand how many pieces of meat they gave me. One brisket, one tripe, one meatball, and couple broken pieces of tendon. And all the noodles I could easily pick up with my chopsticks.my husband's bowl looked like the amount of what should be a small. Just in a bigger bowl. Super skimpy. And the fresh spring rolls were not impressive at all. And it took two grown men to bring us two bowls and one plate of sprouts. And now as I have an msg headache..

This place came after I was starving and had about 250 miles traversed on my bike. I needed quality food and lots of it. Taste of Pho not only met my need, they did so with a small?! Here's the thing. The food is good. It's not excellent or stellar. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat this food. BUT. The amount and the quality were sufficient to give this three stars and encourage folks who need a suggestion. I'm sure there are better pho places near, but with Taste of Pho reaching that "good enough" plateau that means I'll likely return on my next rip up to Lynnwood. So, I had the tht gà cun as a starter. The rol;s were extremely large and made with good ingredients. The rolls were good, but didn't stand out. What I mean by this was there wasn't a hook that kept me interested. I didn't appreciate the sauce like I normally do. Oh well...volume trumps in this case. I then moved on to a small ph tái. The broth wasn't as nuanced and yummy as the pho broth to which I've become accustomed. They were generous with the add-ins. The size of the small was equal to mediums I've had elsewhere. Honestly, my review of the soup mirrors that of the rolls...good ingredients, but nothing stand-out. But good. I ordered Thai iced tea (being lazy) and it was way too sweet and cloying. :( Seriously...get the small...you'll still be taking pho home!

We were visiting Seattle and dropped by Lynnwood to do some shopping on the way back. Looking for a quick cheap lunch, pho is always a good option. We were sold on Taste of Pho when we saw the review by Max as he and his coworkers come here 5-6 times a WEEK. Wow. While we were there on a Monday, we were trying to guess who it was. Maybe we were there a bit after lunch but it wasn't too busy as there were just a two or three other tables occupied. What I like about the pho here is that it tastes great and I don't feel like there's too much MSG in the soup. Always appreciated. They offer three sizes of pho. I'm usually used to two. I went XL but next time the large should be sufficient. All the other food looked good and everyone enjoyed their meals.

I had the vermicelli ad beef with lemongrass, and it was out of this world! Kids had BBQ chicken and rice. The sticky rice was delicious and the chicken was moist and well, delicious also! I'm pretty sure we were the only ones in there that did not speak Vietnamese, but it didn't matter. They were all warm and friendly, and I felt like I was at a friends house for noodles. It was awesome!

I don't normally rate 1 star but when I do, it must really suck. Horrible service, rude owners who are arrogant and shitty portion. I didn't pay $10 for a large bowl to get served a small with a lot of stuff omitted from my bowl. Walked out of there with out touching my food and didn't pay for it. Not returning.

Special Pho with Shrimp & Sate spice is very good. Also like the "pork pattie" salad roll. All in all a nice little mom & pop shop cutting their teeth doing things a little different from the 20+ other places to get Pho in Lynnwood.

The pho here was pretty good. The price was fair, meat in the pho was kind of skimpy, and service was fast. I would eat here again if I'm in the neighborhood but I would not drive out of my way.

We had 2 vegetarian pho. It was the most blend soup we've ever had. It didn't have any MSG which is good but no flavors. Will never return!!

I've been to Taste of Pho many times and have always left pretty satisfied. Im very picky about my pho and its not bad here. The food overall is decent and the service is usually okay, not the best but just okay. Today however was the worst service I had ever received from this place. My friend and I came in for dinner. I hadn't seen her in over a year and she was visiting from out of town, she loved Pho so i figured Taste of Pho would be a good choice. As soon as we sat down we were given menus than asked if we were ready to order. I asked for a little more time and the server seemed very annoyed by this. After a few minutes we placed our order, food came out quickly. We shared an order of the Tofu Spring Rolls which were a little disappointing. They were completely lacking in flavor and texture. Noodles, lettuce and tofu... thats it... Their regular spring rolls are good so I expected the tofu ones to be as good but they weren't. I also had the Papaya Salad with Shrimp, which was okay. It had good flavor. My friend had the Vegetarian Pho which she liked a lot, a small bowl had very generous portion. What bothered me so much was during our meal, we felt very rushed to leave. The servers seemed annoyed that we were there. Halfway through our meal one of the servers asked me if i was done with my plate and brought our check, halfway through our meal! My friend still had half a bowl of pho left and was still actively eating. Many times one of the servers kept glaring over at my friend while he was eating peanuts. It just felt sooooo uncomfortable. I have never felt this way at Taste of Pho. It wasn't busy, there was no line, they weren't closing for another 3 hours...so i didn't understand the rush. WTH. Their pho is pretty good but that does not warrant service like this. I honestly do not expect fine dining service at pho places, usually the service is okay but this was crazy. Ive had better pho with better service at many different places. I'm pretty sure I won't be back, not even for take out. 3 stars for food 2 for service. This encourages me to make pho at home more often!

Taste of Pho is a go to spot if you're local in the Lynnwood area. Good food and fast service. You can call in, order to go or call to dine in and food will be ready fairly quickly!

Friendly service. Pho was good, but pretty much the same as the last 4 places I've had pho. Grabbed a chicken sandwich to go. Was good, probably better if I didn't wait 3 hours to eat it. All and all was a good experience for the $$

My fav pho place by far. They got all the essentials to spice up your soup: sriracha, hoisin sauce, fish sauce, sugar, black pepper, & of course soy sauce. Healthy serving and not a bad price. Eat here now!!

nice family establishment. food is consistent. pho is good. spring rolls and eggrolls kind of smaller then the ones around the area but taste and sauces are good. chicken wings are small but not bad. rice plates are tasty but wish they had one with everything. service is not bad. they sometimes have their young kids there hanging out being kids they arent bad but around you will notice a bit. i usually order togo. my orders usually correct and food is consistent in taste

Can I just start by saying.. "I heart their Phó!". I've tried two other places and either the broth didn't taste good or the noodles were under cooked. Hands down the best place to go!!! Phó real!!!

Let me start off by saying, I'm a stickler when it comes to m Pho. I've been to too many pho spots to count and am very particular in deciding whether its "good" or not. Taste of Pho was decent. The broth could have been more flavorful and more plentiful. Usually, there's a slightly larger ratio of broth:noodle - which is good, because the broth is what it's all about! Taste of Pho had ok flavor but too little broth for my liking. Towards the end of meal, I still had a fair amount of noodles to very little broth. Nevertheless, the brisket and tripe were nicely cleaned and tasted like what you'd expect. They also serve banh mi here. We went w/the BBQ pork banh mi, which was mediocre. Everything was average except for one major misstep - no jalapeno! It was missing that nice heat that the raw jalapeno slices bring.

Damn good Pho. Here are the things I like about it. 1. The broth, which is of the highest importance when selecting a Pho place, is clear and fresh tasting. No dirty water flavors here. 2. They serve things other than Pho. Seeing as the hubby doesn't eat Pho and I love it this is critical. Oh and it helps that the other food they serve isn't just an after thought, but decent. 3. The place is clean and the service fast. What more could you ask from a Pho place, especially one in Lynnwood!

I don't really like Pho. Girl "BUT I WAAANNNTTT PHOOOOOO!!" Mike "At least you'll be a cheap date." Girl "Go pho yourself." Not kidding, she's clever like that. We don't talk anymore. Anyways, I was pleasantly surprised. Maybe I was just down for soup that day but the noodles were good, the beef was good, the addition of the perfect amount of sriarcha by me was good, and I ate the whole bowl. I actually wish, after having pho like this, that I liked it more. It's SO filling and not expensive at all and would make for a really great easy dinner option. A bit heavy on the salt, but yeah, soup. Satisfied.
