This place is everything I could have ever wanted in a Greek place. While nothing fancy, the atmosphere is perfect and the staff were so fantastic. Also, how can you beat two gyros for 10$? I absolutely love that deal. Please keep it as long as you can! I'm pretty sure the guy who helped us was the owner, an older man who was very patient and kind. I appreciated it very much. Thanks for all the great Greek munchies!

asked the money question of when Grecian Delight over at Columbia City was going 2 reopen n found out that, that guy used 2 work here n stole their recipe.. No Good! Bad Guy anyways.. they have the best gyro in WA! Chicago style is the way 2 go w/ feta.. boyyy! that gyro is good.. Greek fries were cool, but I can do w/out place was clean if only we had this in the South

I love Greek food. Finding a good Greek place is hard to find nowadays. I'm so glad my boyfriend and I made the decision to try this place. The meat is seasoned well, the fries are great, the staff is friendly, and the prices are wonderful. I'm definitely looking forward to trying more of the delights here.

Gyro Delight did a smashing job today with my big order - takeaway lunch for 30 people! Our company lunch was a hit. I made my budget, there was a ton of food, and rave reviews from all of my coworkers. We had several dietary restrictions in our group, so everything was well labeled and separated just as I asked. The food was fresh and coming out of the kitchen just as I arrived to pick it up. Very impressed with the professionalism, efficiency, and quality of this restaurant.

  • Sam B.

Damn.. they are super stingy with the amount of meat on a gyro. We had an order to go and wanted the stuff packed individually. When we opened our box, there was not enough meat for one gyro and we had ordered for three... The lamb and beef gyro meat slices were super fine and hard.. Never going here ever again...

I have food coma from finishing up my meal from here so I'll keep it short. Friendly service, fresh and delicious. I'd definitely go back.

Excellent food and great staff at a reasonable price. I have enjoyed everything I've tried - all home made and high quality.

Delicious food. GREAT PRICES typically $3-$4 cheaper than cafe neo and just as good! My go to gyro place for lunch.

I continue to try different gyro places around Puget Sound (Tacoma thru Bellingham) and gyro delight is hands down the best... I don't know what it is, but their favor its the best and most consistent. Best gyro place in the Northwest... Greeks fries are also the best. Don't miss out...do yourself a favor and try this place!!

I have never been a big fan of gyros but for some odd reason I've been craving one for the past few weeks. Since I past by this joint weekly, I figure I would give it a shot. I must say it has all the things I'm looking for in a fast food place: -takes credit cards -clean indoors and out -fast service Since I don't normally eat gyros, I can't say I'm an expert but I gotta say the one I got here was large and tasty! The fries that came with the combo was really good too. They cook to order but my meal came out within 5-7 mins. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try if you are craving a gyro and I will definitely stop by again.

  • E M.

I have never been so sick, so fast from any food joint. Although it tastes good, it wasn't worth the hair raising rush to the bathroom that was required after I ate 1/4 of my gyro to go. So, if you're stopped up and need a quick remedy that also tastes good, stop in here. Otherwise, pass it by.

Great Chicago style gyros! Fast, friendly service! Excellent value! The chocolate baklava is fabulous!

  • Kyle J.

So good! Just was running through Lynnwood real quick and randomly came across this little place. Nice staff, great gyro, quick. Boom what more do you need

  • Jeff L.

Exactly what you hope for from someplace that advertises "Greek Fast Food". Really really good. One tip: skip the extra Feta on the gyro. It doesn't need it. But gi ahead and try the Feta on the fries.

  • Adrienne H.

My go-to Greek place when I'm craving a gyro salad and I'm in the 'hood :). Always delicious and consistent, fair prices and friendly service! I spotted Chocolate Covered Baklava in the dessert case, but somehow resisted the temptation! Looks fantastic :)

  • Michael K.

Great food. Affordable and the staff is pleasant. Pita bread with every order. Love the salads.

    (5)
  • Shane M.

Love the gyro. Eat the gyro. Pronounce it correctly, while you are at it. This place is so so fresh and delicious. It has a weird family vibe - like siblings work here and they don't get along very well maybe. But the gyro? The salad? Yum. Get in here. STAT!

    (4)
  • Amelia S.

Awesome falafel salad! Also, the chocolate covered baklava was perfect, sweet but not overly sweet, just like baklava should be! Decent sized portions! I would go again!

  • Di G.

Love Greek food and never noticed this joint until recently. Amazing gyros and Greek fries! Will be back for sure.

    (5)
  • Daniel Z.

Food was pretty good. Pita and rice were top notch in particular. Only thing that doesnt make it a 5 is that my order was wrong, which is kind of a big deal. Didnt realize it was wrong until I got back to my hotel, didnt go back to exchange it for obvious reasons.

    (4)
  • Katie T.

Omg! I judge a food place by their fries. If they're willing to hand cut a side item rather than throw crinkle cut fries out of a bag in the fryer, they mean business. Only fresh hand cut fries in this joint! The meat was perfectly seasoned, salad had the perfect amount of dressing, pita was toasted just right. The portion sizes were huge. For $20 two giant plates fed my husband, myself, and my 2 small children. (we had leftovers) I just left and I already want to go back.

    (5)
  • Ilona L.

Super tasty food, great customer service and very clean restaurant. We had the gyro plate and it was perfect with tender gyro meat, a great Greek salad, tzatziki sauce and pita triangles. I order mine with rice instead of French fries. The portions are very generous and you can easily share a plate. My favorite gyros in town!

    (5)
  • Jasprit K.

Its a cool little spot on 196th which is full of food options. They cook to order so it'll take a few minutes to get your order but the food is good enough to wait. Definitely will go back

  • Jennifer p.

My favorite gyro place! Chicago style, with Greek fries. Consistently great, quality food. The baklava is the best I have ever had!

    (5)
  • Kevin J.

Five stars because the food is that good. Greek fries are bomb. All the sandwiches are bomb. Rice could be better but I don't buy rice when I go out anyway. The chicken souvlaki is my go to. Awww yeah.

    (5)
  • Charlie L.

Boom! The best chicken souvlaki I've had in the Puget Sound. In the words of Ryan "it's jiz in your pants good!" It was so good, in fact, that I had to get a second for another shot of that delicious flavor explosion. Not sure why it doesn't have better reviews, but am soooo glad Skyla introduced me to this place! And the price is very reasonable. Love it!

  • David D.

Meh. Just all around meh, from me. Sorry, I really wanted to like this place and the food is decent enough, but the fact that apparently the to-go orders are essentially placed as lowest priority versus the sit-down customers ruined any good I might have to say about this Gyro Delight. I literally (not figuratively) watched as my order of one gyro got pushed back again and again so they could serve the sit-down customers who came in AFTER me first. There were 6 orders that came after me as I stood there like a tool, waiting for something like 15 minutes...for one gyro. Here I am, order #32 standing through orders 30-31, expecting mine to be next...then comes #34, 35, 36, 37, 38, and 39 who all got their food before me. I quietly stewed in my anger and then left after I got my order. I wanted to say something, but there was no point. I knew I wasn't coming back again. I've never been here before, and I won't be coming back. It's not worth the wait, and I don't want to sit in to eat there because it's kind of cramped, so no point in going if I'm going to be last priority. If the food was insanely amazing, maybe I'd wait, but it's not.

  • Tray V.

This is my new go-to gyro spot. Definitely has a bit of a "hole-in-the-wall" feel to it, but not in a bad way if that makes any sense. First step in the door you just know you are going to get authentic Chicago style street food. Their prices are pretty standard, but right now they have a 2 gyro deal going on where you get 2 Chicago style gyros with extra feta for $12 after tax, which in my opinion is a hellova good deal! They also have pretty tasty dolmas made soft, exactly how I like them-i hate hard stiff dolmas, the soggier the better! Staff seems nice enough and they have never screwed up my order which is more than I can say for most restaurants. All in all if you are looking for a no thrill but very tasty greek restaurant check this place out!

    (4)
  • Beth B.

Meh. The menu looked promising but the gyro was not up to par. I got it with feta and that's pretty much the only flavor that came through since there were not enough onions or tomatoes. The meat was ok but it wasn't anything to write home about. I also got a side of hummus that was.... no. It was a) runny b) chunky and c) off in flavor. Total was a little over $10, wait time and service was ok. Maybe I caught them on an off day but considering I almost went to Ezells down the street but decided to try this place since it was a lot less busy, I understand why.

    (2)
  • Kim S.

This place is soooooo good! I've had a few different dishes and have liked them all. This is my favorite gyro place up north! Theyre fries are also delicious!

    (5)
  • Ernest B.

I used to be a regular customer, but I have mixed feelings about this place these days. Aside from the occasional off day, the gyros are usually pretty good, On the down-side, some (not all) of the staff are very unprofessional. I occasionally feel like I'm interrupting the cashier's social schedule when I step between her and her loitering, non-employee friend to order. The stereo, tag-team giggling between the cashier and the friend is particularly unnerving while I'm trying to order. If they could shape up the staff and have consistently excellent gyros, like they used to have a few years ago, I'd be a regular customer again.

    (2)
  • Deborah S.

The Chicago gyros are amazing here, and their hummus is really tasty. I'd definitely come here before dealing with the servers attitudes and high prices at Kafe Neo on 99

    (5)
  • Sanobia H.

This place is okay. I ordered the Chicago style chicken gyro with the feta Greek fries. The chicken gyro wasn't the best I've experienced but it was okay. Their feta Greek fries are delicious. This place is not terrible but it's satisfying I guess. It's somewhat expensive the chicken gyro meal was $11.78

  • Steve K.

Greedy owner tows vehicles hours before his business even opens. I read those businesses get a commission for tows. I believe they're jealous of nearby businesses doing better. So sad they have to resort to unethical tactics to make money. I will never eat there again or support such greed, nor will my family or friends.

We have been regulars since we moved to the area about 7 yrs ago. We eat here monthly. The food is always good and the service is excellent. Our favorite is the Chicken Souvlaki Gyro with feta, minus the sauce. The food is fresh and dependable. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it has limited seating inside and it can be cold in the winter. They have outside seating that is a real plus in the summer.

    (4)
  • Cheryl M.

They are ok as far as gyros go. .. customer service not so great. . But they are close to my house so I deal with it

    (3)
  • Susan B.

Went there for the first time today after hearing how good it was and I agree it was excellent. I had the small Greek salad with some Gyro chicken. Really good. Will definitely come back!!

Great food! Their chicken kabob salad is very good. Lots of food for a salad plate, and they include some tasty bread as well.

  • Heather K.

REALLY?!?! Why does this place have such great reviews? IT"S AWFUL. Seriously, drive down 99 and head to Kafe Neo instead (or anywhere else for that matter). Waaaay to expensive for gyros. The gyros are mostly watery lettuce. The flavors in the sauces are bland. Greek fries are too stringy and greasy. Very stingy on the feta cheese on EVERYTHING (including greek fries) So 1) too pricey 2) awful gyros

    (1)
  • Daniel S.

Piled high with meat is the way a gyro should be, and these guys do it. Toppings are yummy and fresh and the fries are nice and crispy and taste fresh. Good combo meal deals. It's still a three-star place mainly because of customer service. I always feel like I'm inconveniencing them when I go in for lunch.

  • Jamie G.

So, I am a gyro snob. I will admit it. I want my gyro flavorful and authentic. I judge my Gyros on three things in particular: 1. Was there lettuce?, 2. Good flavorful meat, and 3. Flavorful tzatziki sauce. This place nails 1 and 2. No stupid lettuce on a gyro (auto-fail if there is and I leave never to return) and the meat was super flavorful. They will also put feta on the gyro, as it should be, if you ask (it is $0.75 be warned). #3 they could work on. The tzatziki is obviously homemade and not watered down, which is good but it needs a bit more lemon juice or acid; it is a bit bland. I would give them 5 stars just on the gyro but they are a little bit pricey. I got the Chicago Gyro Combo (gyro, fries, soda) with feta on gyro and it was $11. However, for real homemade sauce and damn good meat I will overlook the price. The sides: French fries- pass! The fries are hooemade from scratch but the fries always come out burnt and soggy, not sure how they do that. I would like them more if they would put feta or feta with hot sauce on them. The baklava can be great but varies a lot day-to-day. One day it will be gooey and yummy and the next stale and dry. They may need to rotate it out more often. Overall: Get a gyro and skip the sides unless you can't live without the chocolate brownie. The Chicago Style Gyro with feta is one of the best I have had outside of Greece.

  • Drew N.

Awesome spot for those craving a Gyro. I usually order the Chicago with feta, and it comes with generous portions of lamb and tsatsiki sauce. The fries are always hot, golden brown, and salted to perfection. (Seriously, the fries are delish.) Food comes out quick, and the service is prompt and not overbearing. (Read: you get your own food from the counter when he calls your order.) Definitely one of my favorite lunch spots. Can't beat it for $10!

  • Sue L.

Very surprised this place doesn't have better reviews... it's a little hole in the wall place, but the food is super yummy! I had the Chicago gyro and it was fantastic! We also had an order of pita bread and it was melt in your mouth delicious! The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. I would definitely go back next time I'm in the area. Great find! Glad my sister introduced me to Gyro Delight!

  • Jessie N.

Greek fries are so delicious but they're rich - bring someone to share them with you! They don't come with ketchup on them, that's just our preference :) Great and generous gyros, the best I've had in Seattle area!

  • Doug M.

I had written this place off long ago but I was driving by, was starving and I wanted Greek food. Service was efficient and prompt. I had a Chicago style gyro. It was OK but not as good as Time-Out Burgers, Voula's or Leena's Café. The pita seemed too thick. The gyro was over wet and sloppier than other places. The fries were very good. I'm upgrading to two stars. It was better than my previous visit.

    (2)
  • Brianna P.

Chicago gyros were delicious. Try the Greek Fries-- lemony, oregano goodness topped with feta. Really hit the spot and satisfied my craving for Greek with quality food at a decent price.

  • Christine S.

Awww dangit! Now that I'm here talking about this place I am craving like crazy. This place is so, so good. I usually get teh chicken souvlaki combo with greek fries. Those greek fries are amazing and the gyro always has a great ratio of meat to veggies. Definitely would recommend!

  • Steven L.

Great place for a quick lunch! Prices seem decent and the food is great.

Didn't even make to to the point of ordering. The woman was SO incredibly rude with major attitude. Will find a different gyro spot.

  • A B.

I went here only because I was combining trips. As it turned out, I should have gone elsewhere out of my way for better food. I ordered a falafel plate as takeout (4 pieces of falafel, fries, salad and pita bread). The fries and the salad were fine, but the falafel tasted as though it was either made from a box or frozen, and the pita bread tasted like hard pancakes (I'm sure it was packaged or frozen). I was dissatisfied, and it wasn't worth my money.

    (2)
  • Jay B.

Went here for lunch. Small little hole in wall. Ordered a Gyro and Greek fries. Waited 20 mins for my order. Meat was good but Gyro seemed like just meat and pita. Fries were soggy. Not a very friendly order taker at counter. Probably wont go here again.

    (1)
  • steven k.

I stop in here at least once a week for a Chicago style gyro with feta. It is always good and consistent. The service could be warmer and more friendly. The counter girl does not seem eager to have customers but I always like my gyro and come back.

One of the only places on the North end that one can fancy their gyro feast. The gyros themselves are quite good with seasoned meats, fresh veggies, a good tzatziki sauce all wrapped up in a warm and chewy pita. I rate the gyros themselves 3.75/5 stars. They're pretty good, though not the best. Their Greek fries are quite tasty as well. The place itself is always clean and bright, though the guys behind the counter have always been Mexican and not Greek. The main issue I have with this place is that it is way overpriced. $7.35 for a lamb gryo!!! I can go down to Seattle or even the University district and get this same gryo for $4.95. Why the 32% price difference? For $7.35 you would be getting a whole meal deal in Seattle with fries and a drink. $7.35 for a single gyro!?! Get real!!! If these people would price food at a comparable and reasonable price that was in line with all other gyro places, I would eat here all the time. But as it is, I only eat here once every 3rd or 4th month. I'd rather just get a gyro when I'm down in Seattle and not be completely ripped off. I drive past this place and sometimes I look over to see if it's still in business. They are never really that busy, and I wouldn't doubt if they go under sooner or later if they continue to charge their exorbitant prices. TL:DR - TOO DAMN EXPENSIVE

    (2)
  • Kate L.

If you look on the outside of the building, this place does not seem very good. However, on the inside is a lovely tasting gyro. The gyro meat is soft, it has lots of feta and onions and the pita has always been grilled to perfection. The most important part is the tzatiki sauce and it tastes excellent and they are liberal with the sauce. It's like living in Chicago again. The service has always been good. Nothing over the top but my order has always been correct and made just the way I like it. I enjoy coming here on my way to the mall. It is a little pricier than I would like but it's so good it's worth it. I've always been happy with the food and service. Come and try it out.

Wandered by on a week night and was disappointed overall. I had a chicken gyro, no combo, no feta, to go. It came WELL wrapped in a foil sheet so I had no idea what was inside as I walked out. The pita was soft, warm, and flavorful - would love to have it again. The chicken was ok, grilled, kind of tough, pieces were not too big. Onions were out of control... I love onions, but this red onion was barely cut up... having inch wide slices that are over 2 inches long just didn't work for me. (1 star deduction) No cucumber... not a bit... not even a seed... not a whiff (1 star deduction) The sauce was salty, bland, and had nothing to do with yogurt of any kind. It was the right consistency, but no tang, no real flavor of any kind. The whole pita was swimming in it so there was plenty of product to sample. (1 star deduction). There are tables, but they are so close together I wouldn't want to try and fit more than one group at a time in the small dining area.

First things first 2 gyros 2 cups of water 18 dollars that in itself is a crime So after i ordered the most expensive gyro in my life i thought to myself man this better be the best gyro ever. I waited....and i waited...then another table came in and they ordered sure enough 2 gyros... funny thing is their food came out before mine i was shocked...we were the only two tables in the place so its not like they got our orders mixed up so after another 5 mins or so i finally got my gyro..it was decent at best. dry meat too much lettuce and all around just lack of flavor I dont know if i caught them on an off day or what but i do not think that i will be back to try again

Contrary to the name, this place does NOT sell just gyros, and I am apparently the only person using yelp who ordered something besides that or souvlaki. So I had a dentist appt & got into town 50 minutes before my check in time, 70 before the appt. Being 11:08am, I turned the corner as I had seen several spots for various types & qualities of food. I almost got eggs next door--calories, protein, fat, hard to screw up (though plenty have a real talent for it!)--then saw this spot. Eyes on the a la carte, I asked if falafel could be ordered separately. Yes, the man w/the cool stache said, fifty cents each (actually 55--someone mentioned costs creeping up). Got 4. Then I got a $1.50 order of dolmades, which I am THE MOST PICKY person about because my hometown,w/its Greek glory spots--both mine being holes in the wall, there for 40+ years--spoiled me. There, years don't insure you &bad places die hard&fast at their potown-turned-major locations (like a huge top research hospital erected behind a 15person hut,a major uni campus expanded to hug the other). So dolmades: it's 3 w/tzaziki. I'd ordered another 4oz tzaziki not knowing whether it had any & needing it for the falafel anyway. Last thing I got, ALSO picky and "it must taste like this" about is avgolemono, my default feel better and chilly day soup--and Friday November 19, 2010, was quite a chilly day. As a side note, the only of their offerings I am MORE snobby about is hummus. One of my 2 spots back home, where int'l praise made the uni splode in the late70s, made amazing stuff that I 1. devoured & 2.learned to make by trial, error, sweat, tears, & a blender & garlic press to avoid the blood. Face it, most hummus sucks, & ALL at grocery stores may as well be chef boyardee. Really. You EAT that stuff?? So I did not get hummus. Dolmades are risk enough at a place unknown to you (even yelp would be of no help with my choices). So the review: East coast perspective, lifelong conquerer of the best of it EVERYWHERE in the USA. Falafel:I hate skimpy falafel that are super hard-crunchy--it means not enough moisture and cooked at too high a temp or too long. It shouldn't be nearly black or "raw umbered mahogany" if crayola had to describe it. It ideally will be that fabulous brunette color with a tinge of red undertone but just a tinge--perfect exterior with just enough oil to fry but NOT to grease it up. Their.Falafel.Felt.Like.Home. Big round mounds of filling, non-greasy, perfect temperature, good on my belly falafel-I don't even care if it is a mix; it is a damn well-blended and prepared mix!! The tzaziki deserves a mention: it is near-perfect. The little strings of cucumbers are a tad weird since I have typically seen them pretty pulverized with the flecks in tiny diced pieces, but the flavor was spot on.I didn't need all 4oz since the dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) had some, but it came home to Seattle with me-worth keeping tucked by my coat and purse at the dentist to sneak home! Again: I cannot express enough how important MOISTURE is for falafel.Dry falafel just gets smothered in sauce and lost. The large size of theirs was a big advantage(That's what she said).Seriously. Don't mess with me if I order Greek(or anything else)... You'll go DOWN. Dolmades: I've literally only had ONE okay order in all of non east coast America and they were JUST OK.Most have tough, old or poorly stored leaves with thick veins and bitter flavor. Most are dry inside. Most are awful. These were tender, easy to bite through cleanly, & w/a lightly flavored rice with a perfect texture. The filling wasn't orgasmic, but they were an ahh yummm relief. The sauce made em great. The soup:don't skip this. I think its name makes people flip. It is this glorious chicken and rice blend w/a lemony tang & a creamy texture. Theirs may not be from scratch-it doesn't have the delicate glisten of barely separated broth/fat,&it's homogenous to a questionable level, but it's the best HERE & not just cause Seattle Greek is overpriced ick.It won't get the 42years of US best awards that the hut behind the megahospital gets, but it hit the spot&I took the rest home.I want MORE. To compare, only 1spot in Seattle gets my occasional patronage:Mr Gyros on Greenwood Ave N. They make a chicken schwarma to simply SWOON over.I can never get past it anymore; HOWEVER, before that, I did the vegetarian combo-falafel, dolmades, hummus&baba (the one thing I dream about in that lusty hot sweat orgasm way--the way my home sets eggplant to fire, tenderizes it, and swirls the smoky bliss with yogurt? Amazing).MrG's falafel suffers a grave sin beyond just being dry & poorly proportioned: it has that bitter tinge that makes it need mounds of sauce:FAIL. Gyro delight's feels like a hash brown(a delicate crispy solid kind, not a shredded pile of slop kind)--it hits that spot in your tummy& soul.Dolmades: Mr Gyros serves tough leaves wrapped 3xs & very little bland filling.No. Gyro Delight, see you in 2wks!

Wonderful!!! These guys are great. The gyro was delightful, no after dinner upsets like sometimes with this kind of food. Very soft and yummy pita, meat was flavorful and nicely prepared. This is a favorite place now and worth going out of the way for if you have to.

I had lunch at this place yesterday. It's kind of like a little hole in the wall place in Lynnwood. The restaurant is small, nothing fancy about the place at all. They have a small selection of food, that's not limited to gyros. All greek of course. I ordered a gyro with fries and a shake. The gyro wasn't anything spectacular. I've had better. But it wasn't the worst gyro that I've ever had either. It falls somewhere in the middle of the gyro scale. The fries were really good. I think they are better than anything you'll find at McDonalds or Burger King. The shake was small, and frankly it's hard to mess up a vanilla milkshake. All of thie cost me $8.95. Over all my experience at Gyro Delight was adequate. It want some fast greek food and can't find anything else, then this place will do.

Been to this spot a couple of times, and like my rating - I am a fan haha I loved the chicago styled gyro, but to charge extra for feta to be placed in the gyro was a bit excessive. In any case, the greek fries were good and I like how it's a small, chill spot to eat at. I would give this place a try if you need a new lunch choice!

A storm knocked the power out at my home tonight, so I cruised the streets looking for an interesting place to get a bite. After passing mile upon mile of teriyaki, burgers, pizza, mexican...a gyro place appeared unexpectedly. I love Chicago-style gyros, so in I went. The place seemed fairly busy, and I noticed that the beef and lamb were being shaved off a spit, both good signs. I ordered the Chicago-style gyro combo (with fries and refillable pop) for $8.35 plus tax. It took about ten minutes for the order to arrive, but no biggie. The gyro was tasty, toasty, and real Chicago-style (no lettuce, only tomato, onions, tzatziki, and meat). The fries are your typical frozen, fast-food variety...nothing special, but not bad either. My big gripe is the relative lack of meat. Chicagoans are used to their gyros overflowing with lamb and beef. There were several bites which were almost entirely pita bread. For the price, this was a disappointment. But hey, at least my power had returned when I got back home. It's not a bad neighborhood joint, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again.

The ambiance is nothing to write home about, but the meat flavor is much better than the nearby Kafe Neo.

You'd guess that this place wouldn't be any good but I have enjoyed many Gyros here.

Normally I'm a fan of small hole-in-the-wall places, but they have to fit 1 major piece of criteria: they have to have great food! And I'm sad to say, this place does not. Yesterday, we decided to check this place out since none of us had been here before. In our group we ordered: a regular "chicago style" gyro, a souvlaki gyro, a souvlaki plate, some greek fries, and a piece of baklava. The baklava wasn't fresh and looked like a mass of sad, brown, limp dough and nuts. The greek fries.... ehh I've had better, they seemed overly hard. The souvlaki plate consisted of 2 skewers of pork on a bed of rice and pita with a side salad. I admit the souvlaki was pretty good, very tender and flavorful. BUT one thing that turned me off was that there was a thick layer of oil at the bottom of the plate. I'm not exactly sure where it came from because the rice was very dry and so was the salad... weird. The gyros were mediocre. This place is ok in a pinch, but if you want something more tasty, go to Kafe Neo in Edmonds.

I keep coming back here! hands down the best Gyron on the Eastside. You must try this!

Their Chicago gyro is unbelievably yummy! Their ingredients are fresh & very well seasoned. The feta makes it. The only thing that sucks is that they close at 7pm :( but if you miss out & you just need your gyro, there is another gyro & kebab place close by. Their are definitely not like gyros delight but it will get that fix fixed!

I always get the chicago lamb gyro and its delicious every time! Ive eaten there and taken to go. The restaurant is a little dive but not too bad.

Really good gyros for a really good price!

This is a favorite for my wife and me! The food here is good, not great but consistantly good. This is one of our spots we hit if we need a good quick, cheap meal. WE NEED PLACES LIKE THIS IN LYNNWOOD! I am not complaining, but we don't need more McD's or Taco Bells. We need the non-chain, Mom and Pop good food. The prices are reasonable and the portions are good. We don't need our plates to overflow. The soulvaki platers are fantastic. EAT HERE!

My rating is really 2.5 stars but I leaned more towards 2 because even though i liked my meal I probably wouldn't go back. Had the gyro with fries and soup, it was $9 with tax. The gyro was good, but they don't really put a lot of veggies in it so it makes it appear that there is more meat, but in my view the meat is what you'd expect, they really need to add more veggies to it. The fries seemed homemade, they were ok, and the soup was ok too. Overall I actually enjoyed the gyro, however for $9 i didn't think that particular meal was worth it.

The Chicago-style gyro I got there wasn't awful. However, I watched them make it. Rather than cutting 'fresh' gyro meat off the skewer sitting in the roaster, they took some pre-cut meat out of a bin sitting on the counter and then they microwaved it. That was a huge turn-off. I won't be going back.

Ok so I stopped by because I was craving a Gyro. I ordered a lamb gyro and the girl asked if I wanted feta of course I want feta, feta is part of a gyro. Then I get charged .75 for feta I looked around no where in this restaurant does it say that feta is an extra charge and the employees don't mention it at all. I know it is only .75 but it feels like your getting riped off. The food was good but I cant shake the feeling of being taken. Note to owners Feta comes standard on a gyro. If you charge extra for it and keep it a secret you piss people off. If you aren't making enough on the gyro to include feta charge more for it then if someone doesn't want feta you just made an extra .75 . Or at least place a sign that says "FETA CHEESE IS .75 EXTRA" instead of ambushing people with an extra charge. I won't be back

Went here based on Yelp reviews. Certainly didn't disappoint. Ordered a Chicago style gyro with fries and drink. Wow, LOTS of meat in the gyro, they don't skimp. I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I wish it had a bit more veggies - good problem to have! The fries appear to be cut to order and then cooked, skins and all. Very yummy. It is more of a "fast food" restaurant than Kafe Neo - and the two restaurants are very different in menu items and atmosphere. If I wanted a gyro - this would be my pick given the portion size and quality of the ingredients.

The pitas are awesome. My family would have been happier with a bigger serving of the gyro meat. Overall it is worth the money.

Anyone who would prefer that horrible Kafe Neo dosen't know good greek food, I ate there twice, and I thought not only, was the food sub standard and the service too, but it was WAY to high for what you get. Gyro Delight might be pricy, but let me tell you, it is sublime! The best, I have NEVER had a bad meal out of there! The best food I have ever had, and that includes down in Seattle too!

It got 4 stars from me just for the greek fries. YUM! The Gyro's are good if they are fresh. I have gone on some off times and had some not so fresh tasting stuff. The guys behind the counter are no doubt very nice.

Ok, I thought I would give this place one more shot. I was really in the mood for some Greek food. (What's up with not having any good Mediterranean food around here?) Anyway, This place blows. $10.00+ for lunch? I totally got scammed by two things. I ordered the Gyro combo with a drink, which I almost never order fountain drinks, and the girl asks- "Would you like Greek style fries?" and I said OK. She never says it's an added charge of .75 cents. Two, she says "Do you want feta cheese on that?" again, I say OK. But this time I expect to pay a little bit extra- cuz it is cheese right? So after tax my bill came to $10.29! Wait, what? You know when breaking a $20 spot, it really seems like you're spending more than just $10.29. So the food comes and this is what I get.... Soggy fries with some kind of Costco / Kirkland seasoning and maybe two table spoons of feta cheese. My gyro was served on an mediocre pita with lamb (which by the way according to the girl behind the counter - speaking to another customer - "It's a lamb and beef blend." Blend? We're not mixing paint at Home Depot here, it's meat for God's sake), poorly cut red onion, over ripe Roma tomatoes and cucumber sauce. That's it. That cost $7.95 + 1.50 and tax? Fagetaboutit.... If I need to cure my fix for Med food, I'll buy a plane ticket to the East Coast before I eat here again. Lastly, as I sit here writing this, I'm constantly reminded of this experience because my clothes stink of deep frier and grease. Never a good sign, that means their exhaust system is not working properly, or it's super dirty. No thanks, a delight this was not.

Generally I like this place, though some things are a little hit and miss. I'm not actually a huge fan of the fries, since I've ordered them a couple of times and they always seem to be limp and soggy, although this may be because I always get carry-out. The lamb souvlaki is pretty good; nothing amazing, but a good meal. However, I will always sing the praises of their avgolemono. I really like sour things and most places that offer this soup don't have nearly enough lemon in it for my taste, but here it is nicely tangy.

I like most of the other reviewers had a large craving for a gyro - we had seen this place and decided to make a lunch run. The gyros were alot bigger than I thought they were going to be - I ordered the combo with fries and a soda, it ran me about $8. I had the original gyro and loved every bite. The people are really nice and the food was prepared fresh and quick. The fries reminded me of skippers fries (which is a good thing believe me). All in all I will be back if I have a craving. Deff nice to have something like this this close to work!

honestly, this place sucks! I don't know what everyone else is raving about! the food is over priced! there gyros are mostly lettuce you don't get full for what they charge you! I go way out of my way for better!!! avoid this place at all cost!

Never knew Chicago style gyros would be so good! The portions are just right and filling and the fries, I can keep munching on them throughout the day if I could. I usually skip on the feta cheese (which you can have on your gyros/falafel/or even fries but mind you, that's extra. The flavor of the beef/lamb is superb and the blue & white decor really gives you that greek feeling. I'd so go there more if it wasn't a hassle to drive in and out due to the busy street there but it's WELL WORTH it for sure!

I haven't tried the gyros - I love the souvlaki, it's two skewers grilled to perfection, lamb or chicken. Sometimes the chicken can be dry. Though served with warm pita triangles that allow you to scoop just the right amount of rice, tazaki sauce, bits of lettuce and feta to a mouthful of delicious flavor, it isn't a deal breaker. The souvlaki plate is accompanied with a green salad with kalamata olives, pepperchinis and feta cheese. Watch out, the olives have pits! It's one of our favorite take out meals to have at home with a bottle of cote'du rhone or a Washington syrah. And the freshness and portions are consistent (aside from the chicken). Closes at 8pm sharp.

It's getting pretty hard to find decent greek food north of Seattle but Gyro Delight is pretty good. I really like Mousaka and they have the best. I think the Gyros at Cafe Neo may be a bit better but nobody including Cafe Neo can make Mousaka like these guys. The building looks like an old Baskin Robbins ( I think it was) but you're really not coming here for ambiance are you? The salads they serve with the meals are very good as well and have just the right amount of feta cheese and oil. I've tried maybe a third of the items they sell and all have been pretty good. So my suggestion is to order Mousaka with some an extra pita and tzatziki sauce and sit back and pretend you're on Santorini overlooking the water...

About a month ago, my co-worker Russ and I decided to go get some lunch. As we got into his Subaru, I noticed something in the back. "Are you aware that you have an Atari 2600 in the back of your car?", I says. "Uh, yeah...I forgot I got that from my Grandma's the other day, " he says. "Why the hell is it not inside our office right now hooked up to our network monitoring screens!?", I yelp. "It needs an RF switch, " he replies. Dilemma time. Do I take the chance that we can find a Radio Shack in Lynnwood and possibly risk missing out on lunch, or does my hunger win out? Food vs. Video games...it is the ultimate question. Russ is skeptical. "Let's do it!", I says. We drove around Alderwood mall for 45 minutes looking for the Shack of Radio, to no avail. My dreams of playing Air Sea Battle and Pitfall were quickly fading. "I'm so depressed...," I says, "how will I ever finish the rest of the day knowing there is an unplayable Atari in the back of your car?" "Food?", says Russ. "Bingo," I says. We ended up going to Pickle Time and getting some sandwiches, but this place has really good Gyros.

I've only recently become a fan of Gyro's, so my repertoire is slim. However, this place is one of my quick and tasty go to gyro places. I'm a fan of the lamb gyro, the meat is nicely shaved and moist, but the chicken is also tasty. I've always gotten a freshly warmed pita, with a fair amount of fillings, onion, tomato, taziki, cucumber relish-like stuff. Feta extra cost =( They have a combo menu were you can get a gyro with fries or salad. Greek fries available. The customer service folks are decent, I wouldn't go as far as to say they are friendly.

A bit pricey, with a falafel gyro combo meal coming in at $9 (w/o feta) but was pretty tasty. About as good as I've had in Seattle. Would probably come back again.

I've had gyros from a few different spots, but this was by far my favorite. I think I liked how it was "Chicago Style" which gave it a different taste than what I'm used to.

The food is pretty darned good, especially when you're in that gyro mood (because nothing, NOTHING, will replace a gyro craving). The atmostphere is not akin to the Baskin-Robbins I'm sure the building once housed. People there are very friendly, which is always a plus. And, yes, the Greek fries are very nice!

I'd rate this closer to 3.5 stars. The restaurant is good when you're in that Gyro mood, and the Greek fries are pretty tasty. The ambiance - well, it's rather diner-like, so don't expect anything special.

First off, I am a very picky eater. As a reluctant diner (forced there by my wife) I was scared by all of the weird names and strange looking food. It was my first experience with gyros, so maybe I don't know what I am talking about, but it was pretty darn good. The place isn't great looking or have great seating, but the food definitely makes up for it!

Girlfriend I were finally going to try this place for lunch and were anticipating trying this place out for their supposedly great food. We pull up in our car and the two employees were standing outside the front door smoking. Once we pulled up the threw their sigs on the ground and went inside. Gross. We headed somewhere else.

Pretty good stuff. I like my gyros plain, just meat and feta, and this shouts me just fine. Their pita is fresh and grilled just right, meat is not too salty, portions seem pretty big. Price might be a little on the high side.

Hit Gyro Delight for lunch today based upon all the good reviews. I was pretty disappointed. Everything was very average--the only thing that stood out was the chocolate covered baklava. Between the family we had 3 gyro plates, a chicken souvlaki gyro, and a lamb souvlaki gyro. It wasn't bad, just not great. I might have given 3 stars if the combos were $5 instead of $7.

Quality of Greek food is pretty awesome. Great gyro meat. I love their gyro salad. I've also tried the soup, and several other items. They are pretty darn slow at times, and they've screwed up an order or two. And the atmosphere isn't so hot... but the food tastes great.
