This is one of my favorite Mexican Restaurants! I've been going here since the early 90's. Every place I go I've tried to find a Mexican restaurant I like as much as Las Margaritas in Issaquah. I always compare other Mexican restaurants to Las Margaritas and sadly, most don't compare. I've been to the one in Bellevue and didn't like it as much. I can't single out just one dish I like the most. They have the best Sopa de Albondigas, Carne Asada, Enchiladas, Tamales, Pollo con Crema and the list goes on. Just ask Sergio, Blanca or one of the many other wonderful staff for their recommendations. I only wish I didn't live so far away now as this was a weekly favorite.

The window seals have cobwebs. The fork had crusted cheese on it. Gross place. One star only because the salsa is good.

The margaritas are great but the service on my last visit put the nail in the coffin for this place. My boyfriend and I came here Sunday around 4. The place was not very crowded. There was one table next to us in the Cantina being served by the bartender. He gave them a few bean dips on the house. I thought that was very cool but no love for our table. They kept commenting to their server where they were coming from and he confirmed they were complimentary in front of us. We had a very un-friendly female waitress. We had to wait 10 minutes before we were given menus. We ordered a couple margaritas and a few entrees to share. My boyfriend ordered the chicken burrito. The menu said it was full of chicken, rice, beans, and vegetables. When they say vegetables, they mean broccoli and asparus... not your usual mexican fare. I would not have been very happy if that was my order. The restaurant should be more descriptive in my opinion. However, the tacos al pastor were very flavorful and delicious. I was happy with the food but I don't think I'll be back because of the poor service.

This place is consistently good and very low cost; its not true Authentic Mexican Food but its close enough and in my opinion the best on the Eastside. I still believe Rosies in Seattle is the best I've had in WA however.

I have eaten here one other time with my husband and was not impressed at all. Figured I just had a bug since nothing tasted good. Last night we decided to give it another try.....DAMN why did we do that!! Restaurant was not packed, so we were immediately seated. Chips and salsa were delivered immediately. One was very very spicey, one was mild. I noticed cheese queso on the menu, and cheese dip. We asked what the difference was and it was cilantro. We decided to get the cheese dip ( was told it was just cheese) we get the dip and it has tons of onions it in, which me and my husband HATE.....we ate around the onions...I have had beer queso dip, this was just bland :( We ordered our dinner, I had a chimichanga and my husband had enchiladas. I asked for light lettuce and when it came it was covered in lettuce.....GREAT.... I bit into the chimichanga and wasn't impressed. Chicken had no flavor....at other good restaurants the chicken is cooked in some type of seasoning.....this was flavorless.....rice and beans also bland.....NOTHING WAS GOOD, NOTHING HAD FLAVOR.... This was the last time we will go to Las Margaritas. There is much better Mexican like Ricardo's in factoria, Azteca in Bellevue, or Agave in the Issaquah Highlands!!

They have decent food, but the price just doesn't match. They also need to remodel their restaurant badly, it is getting very run down and it creates an uncomfortable atmosphere. Their fajitas are good, if you go get something like that.

Had lunch here on Tue with a friend and just like I expected, it was your average Mex-American food. No one was there so we had excellent service and sitting outside on a 80 degree day having a margarita was nice. The first margarita was great the second was very different not enough lime it just tasted strange? They brought me more limes pronto so once again service was good. I really like more authentic Mexican food so I will not be back. Nothing bad but nothing good here just not to my taste.

We were going to the theater and didn't feel like waiting an hour as some of the other places were saying so we came here. It was crowded but we were seated within 15 minutes. Service was good as was the food. We split a Nacho and it was tasty and filling. The Salsa is good as are the chips. I will come back next time we are in town.

I spent 8 years in the desert SW, I Know good Mexican food, this qualifies. The owner will come to your table and chat, the help is very attentive and the servings very generous. I have been consistently pleased by my experience here as has my Latin fiancé, so that's a 10 star rating from the both of us.

Worst place ever. Accidentally went here thinking it was a different place. The service sucked and was super slow. Food was lower quality than fast food. The restaurant is very dirty from the dirty utensils to the stained seats, head rests and doors. Gross.

My parents swear by this place so we decided to join them one day for dinner. Exceptional service, they make you feel like family. Every time we've been back we have never felt anything but great and full when we leave! I suggest their chicken enchiladas or tamales. They have a #16 combo where you get both, it's awesome. I would easily come back for the hand made margaritas!

Great service. Authentic Mexican. Our margaritas were pricy, $10 each, had very little tequila in them. It's possible they had none, like that they forgot. We felt no effect, and didn't get that alcohol metabolism taste at all.

-Delicious Mexican food -Great people working and a fun, laid-back clientele -Bangin happy hour with drinks and food items -Weekly specials -TVs so you can watch the game -Outside seating so you can eat al fresco -A/C! The nachos for $5.75 are an awesome

As we call it, "Las Mas", is my go to for when I'm craving some delicious Mexican food. The staff is really nice- I like to sit in the bar for dinner if I have the opportunity to. But sitting in the main restaurant isn't bad at all- they love my 9 month old and always come and say hi to us. Their salsa is awesome and so are their chimichangas! Drinks are on the expensive side if you're not here during happy hour- about $9 for a margarita! But that's probably the only negative.

My family eats here a couple times a month and it is our favorite Mexican food. It is usually busy and the staff is quick and attentive. We love the salsa and Tacos al Carbon is my personal favorite paired with a Cadillac margarita. Yum!

Good food Servise was not bad a bit bumpy at times. They could have been a bit nicer. The food was really goo and the drinks were great too.

The service here was ok... however the food was awful. I ordered a plate of seafood, not only did it not taste good in general, but half of it was undercooked. I asked the manager to apply somewhat of a discount, but he rufused claiming that I "ate aall the good stuff." I only ate the shrimp (which there wasn't much of anyways.) Would not recommend.

Typically I'm not big on mexican food but decided to visit in honor of Cinco de Mayo. The service was excellent, something I certainly would not have expected from the exterior. Everyone inside was super friendly and fast. The chips/salsa lady was on us like white on rice, as soon as we were done with one, she brought us another helping. The menu was huge and selection was good. I had the Carne asada and it was actually one of the more flavorful ones I've ever had. Definitely a place too visit on those "too-lazy-to-cook" nights.

One of the best Mexican restaurants around! Highly recommend! Come in a big group for events and drinks and stay for the queso dip! Top it off with some of the best staff and atmosphere! If you love Mexican food you'll love Las Margaritas!

I went to Las Margaritas with friends. There were a total of six of us. First let me say that there was nothing wrong with the service. We were seated quickly and we were attended to in a polite and courteous manner throughout our meal. The good service gives it two of the three stars. I ordered a frozen margarita as did one other at the table. The rest ordered beer. The margarita was not good at all. There was little tequila in it and the taste was just not good. For our main courses we ordered the chicken chipotle, fried talapia, shrimp tacos and beef enchiladas. The portions were huge, ridiculously so. My talapia was not good. There was little flavor to it. I will say however that the rice was good and the salad fresh. The shrimp tacos received an average rating from the diner that ordered it while the other diners were unenthusiastic over their meals. The restaurant itself appears outdated. It was dark and seemed dirty. I have been to a lot of Mexican restaurants in the USA and I have visited Mexico many times. I wish that I could say that I would recommend that friends visit Las Margaritas but I left the restaurant unimpressed. Perhaps this was a bad night for the kitchen and bar staff. I would like to think so.

This place was a pretty typical Mexican food restaurant. The servings were huge and the plates were hot (I still don't understand how they can carry those things without getting third degree burns). The chips and salsa were also very tasty. The only bad thing was that I had a piece of chicken in my vegetarian fajitas. I even bit into it ... gross. But the server was very apologetic and gave me a handful of Ande's mints for the trouble (I say that's a fair trade in my book). Also, this is the first Mexican restaurant that I've eaten at where my coat didn't reek of fried food for the next three days.

Loved this place! We went there for dinner and ordered their signature "arroz con pollo" and the carne Asada. The chicken and rice was fantastic, and easy to see why it's their signature dish. We were well attended to by our waiter Sergio and he was very friendly. We will definitely be returning to what is now our favorite Mexican place on the east side.

Drunk: 4 stars. Sober: 3. The food is your typical semisweet, blandly savory texano 'Mexican' restaurants that makes up for the uninspired food with... a typically kitsch decor which is perhaps 5 years newer than the competition. I like the variety of the menu, but as with all Issaquah cuisine I find the flavor and complexity to be woefully lacking. Which brings me to the drunk part. They do have a pretty decent happy hour menu, and if you have one of those special nights, the deluxe burritos and the chicken mole really hit the spot. The portions, as others have noted, are definitely on the generous side, making the cost-value ratio one of the stronger draws to this particular 'Mexican' kitchen. The staff is friendly and perhaps a little too accommodating of excessive celebration. One time I saw a gentleman celebrating himself a little too hard behind the bar seconds before he finally got booted to the street, a scene sadly not repeated in this generally family friendly atmosphere. Las Margaritas is a medium fish in a small pond. It has the best Mole in town, but with only two longtime competitors they don't have much to worry about. The menu is large and worth coming back to, but only if you're fine with Americanized dishes that run a little on the bland side.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. AWFUL. Food is meh and drinks were weak. All in all don't waste your time. Do yourself a favor and drive a little ways to a good Mexican restaurant.

The food is not bad but definitely not impressive. The service is decent. We received the wrong dish last time and they let us take it home and then brought the correct one. The margaritas are too sweet for my liking but some people definitely prefer that. The environment is very loud and hectic. It is decent Mexican food but I'm not crazy about the inside, so I usually to get a table outside in the summer.

Was not impressed. My Carne asada came out cold and the cheese on the kids grilled cheese sandwiches was not melted. The Carne Asada I Would Not reccomend here. I got it with grilled veggies and these were gross too. I've been here before and remember having a decent burrito and the margaritas are fine. Just not the best Mexican place. Salsa good.

I've been going here since I was born. They are like a second family. Every one is so nice. And the food is amazing. I recommend everything. Especially the tortilla soup.

Came here for a family dinner. And wow the place was beyond busy. Which I figured since it was a Saturday night. With how busy it was the place seemed really small and was very loud. The staff was nice and tentative. Loved the chips and salsa. Daughter got chicken quesadilla pretty standard size, came with rice and beans. They have a basic kids menu with Mexican and normal kid food items. I got the carnitas de pollo, it was ok but not my favorite, kinda bland. Everyone was happy with their food in my group. Good size portions. They had a guy going around making ballon animals for kids, which was fun!!! Overall it was an ok experience. I would come back but wouldn't go out of my way.

I will rave about this frigging place, great food, great portions, and excellent atmosphere. Scotty , the giant Samoan bartender, is a cool guy. The manager is friendly and actively around, the food is spot on, and prices are average. Nice place for a good meal, it margaritas, nachos, art, warm environment, the list goes on!

My boyfriend and I absolutely LOVE going to Las Margaritas in Issaquah. In fact, we are now regulars :) It started off as, "I'm craving Mexican." Being Mexican myself, I've been to a couple Mexican places near where I live and the food was "Eh," so I wanted to try a new place out. This is how we ended up at Las Margaritas. Went once and have been going back almost every weekend for about 3 mos. now! Their bar area is awesome! The service is fantastic, the food is great (and they have quite the food selection. Even dishes my mom makes that I would never be able to find elsewhere around here), the atmosphere is so relaxed and comfortable and their tequila selection is very good. Their margaritas are super good too! Shout out to Scott for simply being the most awesome bartender out there. He's very welcoming, attentive and hilarious. Another shout out to Zulema, who just so happens to make the best mojito in town! Having moved from Belltown (Seattle), where it was always happening, to Sammamish (Eastside), we had struggled to find a good local hangout place to have dinner and drinks. Well, search no more....we have found it! We now always sing the Cheers theme song as we get ready to go to Las Margaritas on the weekend ("Where Everybody Knows Your Name"). Las Margaritas is seriously our Cheers bar now! See you all very soon guys!

Nice size lunch we Split it. It was delicious. I just think it was kinda grungy. I didn't notice until I looked for a wastebasket and saw such a mess at the reception island.

This place is SADDD!!! Went there tonight and waited at the front. An older Mexican man walked up, never smiled at us, barely acknowledges us, and says "four" and walks away... We follow. He seats us at a booth (my wife is very pregnant) so tight my wife can't sit. The booth was tight anyway, even for my nine year old. He brings chips and salsa right away... Good. But, it went straight to crap. We waited 20+ minutes and nobody ever acknowledged us. I watched the (what appeared to be the only waitress) take orders from people that arrived after us. She even walked near us three times (manager was with her) and never once did she introduce herself or offer to take our order. Now, wife is hungry, four year old is wondering when we will get to eat and my wife gets up and asks the older Mexican guy if we can order, and that we have been waiting for twenty+ minutes. He doesn't even say anything to her or go summon the waitress. I watched him do NOTHING. We waited almost 30 minutes and when nobody came to take our order we got up to leave. As I passed the older Mexican man I said "we are going to find another place to eat. And, surprise, he said nothing to us. This is not the first bad experience. Two weeks ago I went with some friends. There were six of us. They brought us chips with one tiny little cup of salsa. Hardly enough for six grown men let alone one little child. Guess what? Same older, lifeless, soulless, older Mexican man. I asked him to please bring four bowls of salsa. He never brought them. When I tried to flag him down he looked at me and ignored us. When I asked the waitress for four bowls of salsa, she also never brought salsa. When the older Mexican gentlemen came back to the table later, I asked for the four bowls of salsa again and never received them. I asked the woman again and never received the salsa. So, we are twenty-five minutes in and no freaking salsa and nobody taking our order. I ordered tea. I got A tiny silver carafe with about eight ounces of water which I thought was the cream. That water was enough to make one minuscule cup of tea with no cream. Food came and by chorizo burrito was tiny compared to what was in the picture. It was literal four inches long and the chorizo and eggs tasted disgusting. I have ordered chorizo in four different states and have made it myself. It's easy. Eggs scrambled with chorizo sausage. This tasted like they had dipped the chorizo and eggs in water and erased any flavor because it tasted like nothingness and the texture was like ground beef. Sick!!! The lettuce was wilted and the beans were a freaking watery runny diahreah mess. This place has an extremely bad vibe, completely lacking of hospitality, kindness, joy, and common courtesy for the customer. NEVER GO HERE!!!!

Went here after work for Cinco de Mayo. Staff were all very nice. Enchiladas were not great, and the margarita was worse. I have to say the drink was the worst I've had in a long time. It's a shame since the employees were great that I'd want to come back.

The food deserve 5 star but the customer service doesn't even deserve a star. The people who work there doesn't know how to provide good customer service. They didn't even notice the customer standing and waiting for their turn. They just ignore it. Anyway the food was great.

My favorite part of Mexican dining is that you never know if your dinner is going to take up a little plate or a huge plater. Thus is the case at Las Margaritas, but I think it's fun that way! The seafood enchiladas were recommended by our server but only one person in my group got them- and it wasn't me. She shared with all of us and we were all jealous! They were out of this world! The rest of our food was good, but those seafood enchiladas were to die for.

The take-out food here is fast and pretty good. If you're looking for Mexican food take-out in Issaquah, this is the place. The happy hour prices are decent, but the service is crummy. If you're looking to go to happy hour, you're better off going across the street yo El42, it's more expensive but the service is much better.

We are not Mexican food snobs. We went here just wanting some decent Mexican food. We know what to expect from Las Margaritas. The restaurant was very busy. However, that doesn't excuse rudeness from almost every server in the building. However the hostess was nice . On top of that, a simple bean burrito was disgusting. The tortilla fell apart when touched. The food took quite a while to get to us. The cheese inside was chunky and not melted. The hot wings were good. We won't be coming back.

After a looooong but FAB day walking in the Pride Parade & dropping of my best friend's co-worker, we were in town & decided that we needed a reward ourselves. I've never been here & honestly I think I just always get La Palmera confused with it. La Palmera is by far better. Just sayin' We were seated as soon as we walked in but no one approached our table to take our drink orders for about 10 mins. That's pretty long, especially since we were starving! I ordered a Mojito & my friend ordered a Sangria. The Mojito was humongous & strong! Oh mann was it strong. I hate mixed drinks too, so I thought it was going to go to waste. My friend's Sangria was pretty good. We ended up trading by the end of our meal. Come to find out my Mojito was 80% ice. Hmmm. They give you mini water glasses along with a pitcher full of water. Which I thought was pretty cool. I'm sure it gives their employees one less thing to do. A win-win. I ordered the Chicken Flautas (my usual safe bet.) It was super yummy but like I always say, you can't really go wrong with flautas. I fnished mine up. Would I go here again? Eh, if there isn't a La Palmera around or a accidentally get the names messed up & walk into here by accident.

We had polio con crema... It was boiled chicken in your crema...wtf? Also had chicken in an enchilada and taco..both were like bland sponges...and this place used to be good. They get 2 stars because the beer and margaritas good.

We have eaten at Las Margaritas in Shoreline for several years. We've always gotten a decent meal there. SO, last night when we were in Issaquah, we had dinner at the Las Margaritas there. My meal was HORRIBLE! I ordered the deluxe chicken taco salad. It was a great, fried tortilla bowl with disgusting, tasteless chicken that seemed canned covered with sopping wet shredded iceberg lettuce served with a small scoop of brownish guacamole and a dab of sour cream. The water that ran off the lettuce was a last half a cup. I used five napkins to soak it up. I told our server that i didn't like my meal. He shrugged and walked away. I ate less than 25% of my meal. When our server cleared the table i told him again that my meal was awful. He shrugged again and presented us with the check, charging us for my meal. We paid and left. I wrote to the restaurant manager asking for a refund. I will report to Yelp the outcome of my request.

First time here yesterday and really loved it. Service was great and very attentive. Very kitschy Mexican atmosphere but fun when you're just looking for some good Tex-Mex food. And the food was good as promised, very tailored to our American giant appetites we were feeling that day. Really nothing to complain about here. To be clear, this is not the place to go if you're looking for a new flavor experience or Latin fusion hipster type place. This is your standard Americanized Mexican food we have come to love, complete with rice and beans with each combo and chips and salsa for starters. But the food is delicious, menu gigantic, and service great, so if you just want some good comfort Tex-Mex, you're in the right place!

My boyfriend and I like going to Las Margaritas to have drinks, eat a plate full of nachos, and watch sports. We've only ever sat in the bar area, and they have friendly staff, decent food, big portions, and a colorful & relaxed environment. No, it won't be the best Mexican food you've ever had but it's a familiar and close.

It's been a while since I have eaten here and quite honestly based on history I didn't expect much. However, today the food was hot, tasty and a decent portion. The service however was very slow and not all that friendly. To be fair, no one was rude, but no one smiles, showed any personality or concern for comfort or satisfaction. Won't be running back, but will be back at some point. Batter service would have got a 4 star review.

Stopped in for dinner with my family on the way to Eastern Washington. We were seated and set up with chips, salsa and water quickly. The waiter came by shortly after and took our order without writing it down. About 5 minutes later he returns because he had forgot our order. After about 15 minutes he returns with my wife's Clam's Diablo and said he would be right back with my daughter and I's food. Another 10 minutes went by before we saw our food. My wife and daughter both enjoyed their food. My Flautas on the other hand were tough and chewy. It would have been nice to say something but the lack of wait staff in the area we were seated was next to none. I'm very disappointed in my experience as this used to be a go to spot when I lived in the area.

Really good! Salsa has a bit of a mole flavor, rice is good, enchiladas are ok, fajitas are good. Outdoor seating is nice. We will be back.

Bartenders here are quick and are very engaging. The chips come with salsa and bean dip which are pretty good. The place itself is a bit bland but the atmosphere is perfect for a simple night out for drinks with friends!

I ordered the Seafood a la Crema and the Carnitas Camarones. Both dishes were huge and so delicious. The Seafood a la Crema was packed with all types of wonderful seafood cooked in a white sauce that was to die for. The service was exceptional. I definitely recommend this place and plan to come back.

I'm currently eating the leftovers of my truly enormous burrito - I think I could make a whole days meals out of it. Went here after Shakespeare in the park on a weeknight at 10, so the atmosphere was a little low, but service was cheerful (despite our late arrival) and the food was good. The flavor is good, but not mind blowing - rather be prepared to feed a whole army with one burrito. The drinks also came in large glasses, and the chips and salsa were bottomless, so you better hope your stomach is too! My group doesn't recommend the fresco burrito. No cheese! What a tragedy! Akin to Shakespeare!

Wanted to go to Stan's, but the kids wanted Mexican. I didn't regret it! Excellent enchiladas and taco. You get a little pitcher of water so you won't go thirsty. Refried beans, chips and salsa were very fresh and delicious. I would come back here anytime. Totally love this place.

The staff was nice and attentive but the food was terrible. My tamale was smothered in sauce but still had part of the husk on it. The chicken in my food had huge chunks of fat or tendons in it. I was so disgusted I couldn't finish the rest. At least the salsa was good

We came here last night after shopping in the Issaquah area. It was the only downtown restaurant that seemed to be busy at 8:00pm on a Tuesday night. In fact, the place was packed, which is always a good sign. It was also very clean, and had a warm, friendly atmosphere, which was nice. My spouse L.B., a vegetarian/pescatarian, was disappointed that her standby Mexican dish, chile rellenos, were on the menu, but came with meat in them. I asked the waiter if we could get them vegetarian-style, and he said no problem, so we decided to order just one solo chile relleno to try them out as an appetizer. I have to say, we both wished we had ordered the chile rellenos as our entree! I'm not even a huge chile relleno fan, and I loved it. First of all the sauce it was served with was freakin delish! I couldn't stop dipping my tortillas into it. Secondly, it wasn't all heavy and greasy, as I find most chile rellenos around here to be. The egg batter was light and fluffy, and the pepper had just right amount of cheese in it...excellent! Our entrees were good, not exceptional, just good solid Mexican food. I tried chilaquiles for the very first time in my life, and enjoyed them. L.B.'s spicy shrimp dish was very fresh-tasting, but over-the-top spicy...we generally like spicy foods, but we both found this dish to be only for heat-freaks. Beans and rice were the typical. Also, I generally only drink wine, water and/or coffee when eating out, but for some reason decided to order a lemonade with my meal, and it was really great! Freshly made and not too sweet. I would certainly eat at Las Margaritas again while visiting Issaquah!

Got food poisoning from the fish taco. Service was good, but experience offset hanging over a toilet for the rest of the night.

I have been going here for years, and I have always had extraordinary customer service. I recognize many of the waiters/waitresses and it feels like home. The food is delicious and they have great prices! This is THE best Mexican food in Issaquah. Must go .

I've been going here with my family for years. We would always eat here and go see a show at the village theatre. I usually get the Carne Asada plate which comes with rice and beans and tortillas as well as guacamole and sour cream. I love their unlimited chips and delicious homemade salsa! The service is excellent. They even have live entertainment!

Pretty disappointed in the service been 3 times over 2 years now and service has been super slow which is very unusual for a Mexican restaurant even for just chips salsa and a beer food is also nothing to write home about

ok, this is difficult to write. I have been to Las Margaritas many times, most of the time, I have been very pleased. My last experience wasn't their best showing. We stopped in to have a margarita, we sat outside (it was last summer) and the bartender offered us a pitcher of margaritas because it was a "good deal".....uh-huh, not really. The margaritas were from the jug, and the tequila must have evaporated by the time we got it. We were chatting with the folks at the table next to ours, and gave them some of the margaritas, they both asked us if there was any alcohol in it. Pretty sad that we paid what ended up being a very expensive pitcher of Mr.T's.

This Las Margaritas is of the best I've had! There are a few around here and mexican food is my favorite, so I'll frequent any of them that are near me when the hunger pains strike. The staff has been frequently helpful, patient and kind. They didn't rush me or my groups (when I've been in with groups at least). The bartenders make some great drinks too, if you're of age. I have had a bunch of different things on the menu but they have a "deluxe burrito" that's mighty tasty. It's big and stuffed with meat and topped with cheese, colorado sauce, lettuce, guacamole and sour cream. It's pretty much the standard "huge burrito" that every mexican place has, but it is just better than others. They also had a chorizo and cheese dip that is fantastic. Everyone is nice, food is good and reasonably priced and it's in a nice location.

Food was good and will be going back. Not sure about the parking lot in back but parking was not as bad as expected.

Went tonight to celebrate my daughters' 12th birthday and had a lovely evening! They made her feel very special. Slow to get order in but food came quickly. Staff friendly and accommodating and brought out sparkler candle to add to our home made cupcakes. They sang Happy Birthday to her, which was very sweet! We live here and said daughter is a fan of Mexican so we'll be back!

Oddest tasting Italian I've had in a while. The calzones were rolled not folded and the waiters didn't speak a word of Italian. The chips with red sauce were spicy and tasty and the chianti was blended with limes

Las Mas has great food and service. Go in the bar and see Scotty; the coolest bartender in 'Quah!

I love the salsa!!! They offer a typical tex-mex menu. Its the closest Mexican restaurant located in proximity to downtown Bellevue and is located right next to the transit center. They offer a parking area in the back, but I don't feel comfortable leaving my car there. It seems a bit sketchy and too hidden. The food is average but they dont offer many alternative options for special dietary needs.

We came here for chips, salsa, and margaritas....all of those were awesome! The cheese dip was also REALLY good. However, we tried the guacomole and it was the worst I'd ever had. It tasted like they had dropped the entire avocado in a blender, bitter skin and all. I couldn't even eat it. And I eat anything. Granted, I'm from CA so we get awesome guac all the time, but this stuff was down right NASTY. I hope we just hit on a bad night...

Sadly we were very disappointed by our experience. The one highlight was the salsa. Tasty but many of our chips looked burned. The service that we got was lacking. Waitress seemed nice but didn't check on the fact that although she'd said our chips would be refilled they hadn't been, nor was my soda ever even offered to be refilled. On the other hand the male waiter that was taking care of the tables around us was extremely attentive to his guests... My review might be different had we been dealing with him... We got screwed. As for the food, I have low expectations of Mexican food in wa, but the chicken enchilada was sooo bland, tamale was decent, taco was a per made shell with bland meat.. Beans good, rice average. Overall not impressive. Bummer.

The food is nothing special. It's not bad; it's not impressive either. The jumbo margarita is pretty epic, though. Pretty affordable for what you get, and it's pretty tasty. You'll have my respect if you can finish one by yourself.

Seriously, go to Las Magaritas in Issaquah if you haven't already. If not for their excellent food and excellent atmosphere (in the lounge), have an excellent margarita and meet Scott- the most engaging, friendly, hospitable and respectable bartender I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is considered a dear friend. You just can't help but to love the guy! We moved to Issaquah in 2005, the year this restaurant was remodeled. We met Scott and since then, Thursday nights are Las Margaritas (LasMas) nights and our world-class service experience is always consistent! We Issaquahans, if that's our correct demonym, are truly fortunate to have this restaurant and it's wonderful employees in the heart of old-town. Skip all the others- if you are craving delicious Mexican cuisine and/or a fun and memorable service experience, this is it.

We frequently eat at Las Margaritas, and they are always happy to see us--they even greet us at the Farmer's Market. We get great service when we bring family to eat. On a couple of weekends, a very capable magician performed performed tricks at our table, to the children's delight. The only drawback is that they can be slow to take the check. The food is great. The whole family loves the salsa and chips. They have the standard fare--burritos, fajitas, etc. But they also have dishes with a variety of sauces, including cream sauces, poblano sauce and mole. The Nopalitos con Camarones with fresh cactus leaves is real treat. With such variety, we never get bored of the menu.

Been going here for years with kiddos. Pretty good. Tonight on a Tuesday- I was shocked how absolutely the worst service was and the food was horrid!!! :(( So sad. Very Dissapointing!!

We used to go to the Las Mas in Redmond, but decided to venture to Issaquah to get our Las Mas fix once Redmond's changed. DEFINITELY worth the bit longer drive :) The first time we went, we received the BEST service. The second time, service was just okay. Our family LOVES this place. I always get two chicken tacos, my mom gets chile relleno, dad gets chicken fajitas (I think they are too sweet here), and my husband is stuck on the seafood enchilladas. We are all passionately convinced that our food choice is the best :) Our newest Las Mas routine is taking advantage of the Margarita Pitchers... good margaritas, at a worthwhile price :) True, we are emotionally attached & nostalgic for this place. Yes, I'm sure there are more "authentic" mexican restaurants out there. But Las Mas will always be one of our family favs :)

Food is good, service is fair to poor. I have lived in Issaquah for 10 years and frequented Las Margaritas consistently all these years. Not sure how La Costa consistently comes in as #1 as the food was not great last time I was there. This is much better. The salads are VERY good. The platters with the grilled asparagus, etc. are great and were a surprise as I don't associate good salads with a typical Mexican restaurant. The biggest disappointment is the service. In the 10 years I have gone here, they still call me "Lady" where as other restaurants in the area have since learned my name and don't act like they have never seen me every time I walk in. The Samoan bartender is the worst. A couple of time he has served the large beer when I didn't order it, so it is like he is trying to up sell for a larger tip. He doesn't listen to you when you order and has screwed up my order multiple times. He interrupts you and talks WAAAAAYYYYYY too loud. I think he forgets he is not in the Football locker room anymore. I called today to ask what was on the happy hour menu and he rudely said...you want me to read the whole menu? There were only 6 items on the menu. How long did it take to recite 6 items on a happy hour menu. Not long. About as long as it took him to complain that he had to read these items off. SERVICE NEEDS MUCH HELP.

I have not been in a few months (mostly because I have been unemployed and broke) but for a while my roommate and I were going here pretty regular. Let me just say I know a lot of the Las Mas have shut down and been subpar (I have eaten at others), but this one just seems to do it better. Always had great service and fantastic food here, and the place always looks clean and organized.

I can't actually comment on the food because when we saw the big cockroach on the wall right next the kitchen, we just had to leave... Disgusting...

This is a favorite! We are regulars, and love it here. We took our kids and parents with us here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. All the food was hot and delicious. Large portions ensure you will be full! We love the Mole' and enchiladas For gluten free you can order your food with out tortillas of any kind.

This review is only for the BAR ONLY and because we're regular customers we know the bartender so yes it's a little biased. We've been here several times now and the experience at the bar is far different than in the dining room. Tony the bartender is SUPER FRIENDLY and really FUNNY! He makes you feel comfortable and totally relaxed. For a few times now, he's given us the refried beans and meat appetizer along with the chips and salsa for free. Our drinks have always been STRONG and delicious. This last visit, we got free shots. How awesome is that! Food is good and pretty consistent. Nothing spectacular but not bad either. The one thing I would love for them to change is to make the bar area larger to accommodate more seating. They've been a few times where it's so packed, we had to go somewhere else to eat. Overall, it's the place to get the best Margaritas after a long stressful day!

My friend and I were in the area, and wanted some Mexican food. It was getting close to their closing time, but decided to go there anyway. We were seated right away, and the service was awesome! We never felt rushed, in fact, we were definitely there past their closing time. The server was very friendly, answered our questions, and made great suggestions. We were very happy with the food, and how quickly it showed up. Definitely recommended!

Amazing Chili Colorado here. Actually all of the dishes I have had at this place are good. Don't miss out when you come to Issaquah!

I am from the Northend so typically I wouldn't make a stop to Issaquah. Mi amiga and I decided to have some mexican food before making our way back to the Northgate area. Chips & salsa were ok. I ordered the large combo which includes an enchilada, tamale, and tostada. I overestimated my hunger because I hadn't eaten all day. So yes, I didn't finish my food but saved it for lunch the next day. I ordered the sangria which was freakin' sweet and refreshing. This place was pretty decent.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
