Cool little bar with two pool tables, shuffle board, a pinball game, & and outdoor smoking patio. The bartender was very unfriendly and a little rude/condescending. Maybe she was having a bad night because she had the same bad attitude with everyone. The crowd didn't seem too rowdy so I can't really excuse they way she acted. She also sucks at pouring beer and all four beers she pour were not filled to the top and basically served as 12oz beer instead of a pint (I took a picture so you can see what I'm talking about). I don't think we will visit again.

I like this place. And as a pool player i appreciate a dive bar with Diamond tables. They have tournaments every Monday with only a 5 dollar entry and the competition is good. The staff is friendly and has beeb lenient with bar tabs. The food is ok. If it was better this place would have earned 5 stars. The back corner is pretty cluttered too and can use being organised but over all a nice dive bar.

Its nicer than it looks, which ain't saying much. This old time 1940's era crusty bar specializes in big blue cans of Bud Lite and octogenarians in plaid. To be fair, I was there mid afternoon, but I suspect the night is filled with the finest lads and lasses this side of 8-Mile. Its clean, and gets stars for having a well maintianed pin ball machine and a cool intact old school rabbitt neon sign. And who doesn't like a mom and pop establishment who never gave in to "modernization"

I'm a big fan of dive bars, roadhouses and old timey taverns. Harvey's is a great spot for a cold drink after a long day. I would love it if this place also had a kitchen! Harvey's could be a gold mine if they offered a decent pub style burger, nachos or even deepfried fare - but they don't. Nothing but bags of chips and a bar-top nut-vending machine. Don't show up without eating first!!!!!! I'd be in there eating at least once a week if they lived up to the "Grill" part of their name on the cool neon Harvey's Lounge & Grill sign outside. Come on Harvey's! Step up and turn this place into a desination instead of just a place for a cheap cold beer with the grumpy old men.

Typical dive bar with great prices. Service is terrible unless you're close to the bar, but that's okay. Prices are decent, food is your typical bar food. However I like to induldge in the late-night alcohol inspired craving of corn dogs and that makes me happy! Especially the chili corn dogs. It was chili con carne powder in the batter! NOMS!

This place has gotten a million times more awesome since my last review. First, they have games galore! I love me some bar games, and you will find quite a few here! They have donkey kong, pop a shot, shuffleboard, pool, and skeeball. I mean really. How can you do much better than that? You can't. They have pool, of course. If you're really cool, you can join a league and earn yourself a sweet embroidered jacket. Second, drinks are still awesome. The last few times I've gone in, the bartender has had my whiskey and coke ready for me. That might be a red flag that I am coming here too much... Damn your skeeball! And of course they're still strong. Someone once noted that you have to be a "professional" to drink here. That's probably true after seeing the last few times I've brought a newbie in. Homies can't hang. Third, they have a great outdoor patio for the summer, I think they even BBQ out there for games and such. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite bars. Give it a chance! I know it looks disturbing on the outside, but its inside charm makes up for it. Skeeball!!!

On Saturday morning I went looking for a bar around the Shoreline-Edmonds line that was open in time to catch more than half of the 9 am Huskies/Duke game. It wasn't easy finding such a place. (What fool decided that was an appropriate time for a big game, with half the rabid viewers residing in the Pacific time zone? My hopes of being the only jerk in royal blue -- let's go devv-ULLs! -- and having pint glasses thrown at my head by rowdy purple fans were dashed. Said fans were probably still in bed.) Anyway, on the 9 am-bar front, Harvey's gamely rose to the challenge. The outside suggests a total dive, for better or worse, awaits within the door. Inside, however, awaits a spacious, clean, and friendly bar, with just enough dive around the edges to mean: (1) it's open at 9, (2) you can feel comfortable doing pretty much whatever, (3) the prices are good, and (4) you can guess it's a fun place to be at night -- for personal rowdiness, people-watching, or something in between. A fine selection of deep-fried foods, though I didn't try any. I went for the breakfast of Mac & Jacks. And that was perfectly fine.

Yech. Dirty, poor service, time for a major remodel and cleanup. If your a regular the service is probably fine for you.

My friend and I stopped in here last time I was home. It was 5pm on a Friday and we were looking for a dive bar to stop at and drink a beer or two after our day of hanging out at Alderwood Mall. We stopped here and it was the perfect choice. My friend got a mondo sized Bud Light for cheap and I got a nice sized Blue Moon for $4.50, a little pricey, but okay. The best part was when this person, who was obviously a regular and celebrating their birthday with a large sheet cake offered us a piece! It's the kind of place I could see myself visiting with friends on my visits home to the west side!

Harvey's Tavern is... hmm, the next word there is still tough to fill in. Harvey's is def one of the longstanding local bars that hasn't had to change too much. It's weird. There's something a little dirty, but not terrible. TV's to catch a game, some live bands and karaoke, pull tabs, and Rainier all help to make this place all right. It's grown on me and a decent place to stop in for a few beers. Also, a back patio is always a great thing and there's a little covered table area that would be fantastic to go out and play some cards while drinking at! A buddy of mine is always fond of pointing out, and he may have a bit of a point, that the bar is at a bit of an awkward height (or maybe it's the bar height versus the stool height or both versus the floor height?!) that makes it get really uncomfortable to remain seated at the bar. For whatever reason, we still always sit at the bar. What the heck... give it a shot. A neon rabbit sign has only occasionally been wrong. No coat check that I'm aware of.

My favorite bar on the north end. Friendly owner, good prices on beer, and the best bartender Ive ever run into. If your into the stuffy fancy places you might want to consider another place. The vintage bar offers pool tables, dart machines, pull tabs, merchandise, large HD tvs, jukebox, bar food like deep fried stuff, and a large outdoor patio with seating.

Bandaroke on Friday nights! If you are looking for something to do, and have an eclectic taste in music, then this is the place for you. We went on a Friday night because a friend was playing. It was really fun, and yes, the atmosphere was divey, but this bar doesn't pretend to be anything else. I had a Malibu and Coke, which was really quite good. There was a couple who were doin it with their clothes on, and the bartender quickly put the kibosh on that. All in all the people were nice, the music was good, and we had a lot of fun!

Wendy is a great bartender, Many of thethe people that frequent this place j have been kicked out of all the other bars on the neighborhood, otherwise it's a good bar

Harvey's is the perfect dive bar. Free pool on Sundays! Shuffleboard! Skeeball! Pinball! Mini basketball! Darts! Karaoke! TVs! Juke box! Wendy is almost always tending bar and she's fun and nice. Great full bar, corn dogs and fries, back patio with umbrellas and smoking allowed. This place is usually not too crowded and has a good vibe. Drinks are fairly priced and it's well worth hanging out there.

A pretty standard dive bar on Aurora in Lynnwood ("Edmonds"). Lots of TVs, so it's good for watching a game and grabbing a few beers, and two pool tables and a shuffle board. Can't say it was anything memorable, but it's a decent dive with decent service. Stopped by cuz a friend was there but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to commute here for a drink. Chill spot though.

This is a fun hang out spot for a late night! Went to Harvey's for a friends 30th Birthday. They have decent drink prices, and some decent micro brews on tap. Which is great, because typically dive bars only have Bud Light or Coors on tap, in my experience. My friend had several birthday drinks and the bartender was great and kept bringing him waters. She was the only one there and was able to keep up with a crazy Saturday night crowd! She even gave the birthday boy a free Harvey's sweatshirt! They even had karaoke! Me and my girls all sang plenty of girlie songs which I'm sure drove all the guys crazy! It was a fun time. They also have pool. Lots to do. Fun place to be with good friends!

Maybe if you're not in here on a Saturday night, the lack of karaoke will take this place up to three stars. It's a dive with a loooong history behind it, a long tradition of existence to its members as well as to the community at large, as Delta Tau Chi president Robert Hoover once said. But I digress. When the karaoke is on, everything changes. You could search the wide world over and audition the worst karaoke singers available, and maybe you could outdo the succession of mike-rockin' karaoke kings and queens at Harvey's...but not likely. It's hard to imagine karaoke any harder to listen to than here. It sounded like a vuvuzela contest. Or maybe a bunch of geese with their feet caught in a lawnmower. They say the sound system might be to blame. And, really, how could they all be that bad at once, without the system being part of the problem? Well, no matter. One person told knock-knock jokes and screamed like she was in a horror movie, instead of singing. And, anyway, sometimes it's fun to just get together with your friends and act crazy, and they were clearly cracking each other up, so I'll leave this be. What you get here is a classic north sound dive that's been doin' it for decades. Lots of TVs, lots of sports promotions if you want to come in for the game, there's pool, there's a full bar with good prices. They were raffling off a bunch of Weber grills. Everybody knows each other. The place gets a little crazy sometimes, but clearly they have their fun, and it's kinda like a little club. There's nothing fancy here, but it's pretty clean and the people are friendly. I've always been curious about it because they have that huge neon sign like you can't build new anymore. It must have been here since the 50s, 'cause that's when Harvey was in theaters. I love that they're still carryin' on.

We stopped by on a Friday for a beer and really liked Harvey's. It's super casual and everyone was friendly. I felt very welcomed. The bartender, Wendy, was awesome. I wish we had a place like this in my town.
