It is such a lovely location, but they missed an opportunity when it transitioned from Randy's to the Secret Cove. They could have upgraded it and done some updating to the place. The menu needs to be entirely re-worked. The food is much the same as Randy's was....frozen, reheated or fried, not fresh by any stretch of the imagination. Good to go grab a drink upstairs and look out the windows, but go eat somewhere else. There are some very good restaurants in Anacortes, skip this one.

I hate to say it, but this place bums me out. Such an incredible location -- short walk from the main drag in town, views forever, multiple decks, bar up top, sea air. It's a gorgeous spot. Could be the site of not only the best restaurant in Anacortes, but a destination in itself that pulls in out-of-towners for an overnight date-night. And yet.... It's not. Not even close unfortunately. The food seems to go out of its way to be mediocre. Other reviews that talk about the poor food quality nail it, so I won't beat that dead horse, other than to say that it truly wouldn't take much at all -- a little creativity, a little less corner-cutting, a little attention to detail -- to make it, if not amazing, at least good. But the space is woefully in need of a makeover as well. I go back every few years in the hope that they've turned it around, most recently for lunch a couple months ago (July '14) after the name change. We were seated in a room that, despite the view, felt like a hospital cafeteria. Again, it wouldn't take much. Two stars instead of one for the location, the happy hour on the rooftop deck, and the fervent hope that either the owner decides to go large and make the place live up to its potential, or someone else sees what it could be and decides to go for it. I'm pulling for you!

Recommended by a friend at work and well worth a stop. good drinks @ killer views. We were lucky enough to be here for the Seahawks win. We didn't get to try the prime Rib so we'll be back for that. Excellent Reuben & brisket. Looks like a fun stop for happy hour too.

This place is now known as Secret Cove, but the menu and quality of food is much the same...blah. I will say the dinner salad was very fresh, but the sautéed oysters and the seafood medley were served in a broth, more like poached. We did not care for our meals. The waitresses were very nice.

Great fries, my dad thought that the burger was better than brown lanterns burgers! Mom had a crab sandwich and loved it. Recently came under new ownership. Great view of the water!
