No matter what I do, I just can't love this place. The bagels are sorta dense, the service and interior "blah", the sandwich selections on the menu uninspiring. Not to mention there's a rather huge upcharge if you want an extra topping - just build it into the price, it's not like someone is going to order a sandwich with 30 toppings! I greatly prefer The Bagel Place - it still holds the #1 spot in my heart!

There are more than a dozen signs in sheet protectors taped around, with information and instructions about all sorts of things, as well as lines added to the menu signs about Williston and Vermont's Room and Meals Taxes and how to avoid them. We guests must need serious guidance and to be told about the fact that things get taxed. (Not having a problem with schools and roads and plowing, I think paying taxes to make living in Vermont as nice as it is is just fine, and not to be avoided.) The staff don't seem particularly pleased to be here or to see me. There's a nice selection of bagels, but everything is priced a bit high for a strip mall. The best thing I can say about Bagels Plus is that they don't have a TV. No WiFi, either, though. If you have time, go to Burlington or Essex Junction for a better bagel experience.

Just go. Great ceasar wrap and maple wheat bagels...just go.

Nice bagel selection. However, they could stand to simplify their order process. Have to order at the big counter with the bagels then find your way over to the other counter to pay, which proved a challenge during a busy Thursday morning. Bagel was what you would expect from a local bagel shop, but nothing to write home about. However, they did put way to much cream cheese on the bagel, causing it to come out all over my lap.

Bagels are always fresh and tasty here. Super selection of sandwich options, creme cheeses and beverages. I tried the chicken pesto salad sandwich and loved it. I bought my friend a turkey sandwich here and they really pile on the turkey +++! I nice little stop for informal food to find in Williston. I would like to try their breakfast sandwiches some time. Very friendly and super fast service here, every time. Glad they are doing well.

Bagels Plus is near my office, it is the best and FASTEST way to get breakfast in town. The Bagels are always fresh and the staff friendly and helpful.

Have to agree with the others that don't love the bagels. Was a bit disappointed since I stopped there thinking it was a speciality place for bagels. The bagel was just too much soft dough, the creamcheese (light) was overloaded.

Sunflower bagel, toasted, with low-fat veggie cream cheese! Get it. Love it. Friendly folks here too.

Unfriendly staff with sour looks on their faces. The bagel I had was passable, but the cream cheese tasted bad. Definitely stick to Burlington Bagel on Shelburne Rd.

I was not impressed with the bagels at all, not chewy outside, and not soft inside.

This place is always a safe bet for great bagels, cream cheese, and a clean place to eat. The soups and sandwiches are great too. The staff here is friendly and efficient.

The staff is super friendly and the bagels are always delicious! I've started picking up a bagel for my kiddos to munch on when I grocery shop and they love them. Our last visit we were in for a late lunch, after the typical lunch rush, and the staff took the time to visit with me and my kids and were really sweet. It was a pleasant lunch in a casual environment.

I can't believe we've lived here five years and never come in here! The staff are mega friendly and the prices are so reasonable. It's Dunkin prices but the food and coffee are so much better. I have regret for every terrible bagel sandwich I've eaten in Williston. Never again, I've found my new home for the in between space of not wanting to cook at home and not wanting to sit down for pancakes at a restaurant.

I stayed in Essex Junction for 3 days and chanced upon the store. Friendly staff. Easy crowd. Tasty bagels and tastier cream cheese. Definitely try the jalapeño - its one of the best I've tasted.

Decent bagels, decent pricing. All the ambiance of a Dunkin Donuts. Free coffee refills, though! And the maple cream cheese was killer.

The past few times we wanted bagels we have decided to stop at this location. Its very clean and its located in the middle of Williston. So its not to far out of our way. And for the most part its been ok! The service here is pretty simple. Go up to the counter and place your order. Then they simply make your bagel to order. The staff seems friendly but at times they don't seem to interested in wanting to help you out. However we have not had any major runs here. This past Sunday after we made our order we had gone to our table to be out of the way of the lunch rush. (Around 11:30 or so.) But after they made our bagels they never even yelled it out like the last time we had gone. So we got cold bagels that day... The food here taste good though. They have all kinds of bagels to pick from! Plus meats, cream cheese and veggies. So there is something here for everyone. The quality of the bagels are pretty consistent as well. No real complaints here. Other than the lack of communication the last time. The prices here are set pretty high. For 2 bagels, 1 chip and soda to share will set you back about $20 total. So be ready to pay up! So at the end of the day its a good location. Its clean but its not cheap. The staff could be a lot better as well with the communication and all. I would hate to see them on a super busy day! Lucky for us we have only come here on the slower Sunday lunch. So I had to go with a 2/5. If they staff was better and more organized I could see this being a 4 or even a 5 star restaurant. Until then I will stick with my guns at a 2/5! I will update this when or if we ever go back.

I go here once every couple months to surprise my wife with bagels for breakfast. So, this isn't based on just a single visit. Overall, it's an okay bagel place. Like others have said, it has a wide selection of bagels. The other baked goods, such as the muffins, are good too. The location can't be beat either. The one thing I always notice about this place is that hardly anyone smiles. The girls who are regularly behind the bagel counter are rather stoic and mechanical. Their attitude reminds me of a bagel place in New York City rather than suburban Williston. Then the older woman who is often working the cash register never smiles at all. I once saw on my receipt that it said "Smiley" in the space where the server's name would go. I inquired about it and the woman explained that it was a joke that the other employees called her that. I fully understand the irony there. Speaking of New York City though, the only person who does smile in this place looks like she might have come from NYC what with her bandanas tied around her head. She's the most pleasant one there and I look forward to dealing with her due to her attitude and the general sense that I get that she enjoys dealing with people. Moving on though, I don't know what the other reviewer was talking about when they said they spent $20 on two bagels, a soda, and chips. My usual order is 2 bagels, 2 muffins, and 2 hot beverages and that comes in less than $15. I can echo the distaste for the layout though. On busy mornings it can be challenging to order, pay, and then fight your way back to the bagel counter to pick your order up. And in this triangle of counters are tables for people to sit at. They're the least desirable tables to sit at though because there are constantly people walking around the tables while they are getting their orders or otherwise milling about the counter.

In town for a hockey tournament, my son and I needed a quick breakfast on the Sunday when we moved the clocks ahead for Daylight Savings Time. His game was 8am, and we were looking for breakfast at about 6:40am. I read a review that said Bagels Plus opened at 6. I was disappointed then when I pulled into the parking lot to see a "CLOSED" sign lit in the window. Fortunately, the newspapers were being delivered, and I saw one of the employees come out to get them. I asked when they opened, and he said "7am, but come on in." At that point, they only had about half their bagel selection, but we were happy with our choices. The young woman who took our order couldn't be more helpful or engaging at that time of day. The bagels were very good, and the Green Mountain Coffee was even better. We had everything bagels, and I had bacon and scallion cream cheese. These weren't bacon bits, mind you, but generous pieces of real bacon. Fabulous! Between the bagels, cream cheese, coffee and especially the early-morning welcome before official opening, I give Bagles Plus five stars! Next time I'm in the area looking for breakfast, I'm going back.

This is mostly a review of the breakfast sandwiches, as 1 visit isn't adequate to judge the whole place.. Got the sausage, egg and cheddar on a sunflower seed bagel (sold out of everythings). It was meh, especially by Vermont standards. First and foremost, the eggs and the sausage were microwaved, a deal-breaker for me. The bagel itself was alright, a bit too dense tho. And it was served in a weird way, kinda on it's side, already falling apart by the time u get your hands on it... Nice service, and I'm sure the bagels are good with some cream cheese (they make a pumpkin cream cheese!), and they have homemade biscuits which looked tasty, but def skip the breakfast sandwiches.

This is my favorite place to get breakfast before work in Williston. The staff is fast and efficient. There is a very large selection of bagels, cream cheeses, and coffee flavors. Their bagels, sandwiches, and soups are great, though their breakfast sandwiches with meat and eggs could use some improvement. The price is definitely right; less than five bucks for a bagel with flavored cream cheese and a large coffee. Less than five bucks for a bowl of delicious soup with a buttered bagel. I can always get in and out of there in around five minutes, making it ideal for a before-work breakfast.

This was my first visit. They offer a large selection of bagel flavors. I got an everything with lite plain cream cheese. The bagel was fine. It tasted fresh. I was hoping for a latte, but they only have the premixed machine so I skipped it.
