I have been going to this place for a long time and it is rather inconsistent in service. The ice cream is fine, it's mostly soft serve with a lot of options, flavors, toppings, etc. They also have cooked food like hot dogs and hamburgers. The problem is the hours are way too short, they close at 8pm or 8:30 in the summer when it's still light out!! They lose a lot of business by closing early, including mine. Service on my latest visit was slow and surly. Too bad it's the only choice for soft serve in town.

Great little place to stop by for some afternoon soft serve after a long drive through the green valleys. They have a small handful of flavors and all the fixings (sprinkles, dips, fudges). They also have some maple-flavored items if you want to get really Vermonty. The service is good, it's usually staffed by some nice high school kids. Haven't tried their foods yet but the grilled cheese sandwiches looked good.

One Mr. Softee truck and a square iphone app would put these morons out of business. Service at this place is disgusting slow. The more people that show up, the worse they act. I have seen quicker service in the Soviet era bread lines on TV cold war documentaries. And that smug attitude at the counter (that is too small and insanely uncomfortable) can send the ever patient Jobe into a tailspin of frustration. Note to the owners, the cheesy 50's era poodle skirt, hot rod era, James dean crowd has retired and moved to Florida, nobody has a clue what crap that is you play on the radio. It is f-in torture. I wish someone would open a creemee somewhere over by sugarbush or warren village so we would not have to be subjected to this overpriced torturous experience. Oh and god forbid you bring a credit card, cash only, back of the line or you!

Summertime snack shack with ice cream, grilled items (burgers, hotdogs, fries, etc.) and also Tex Mex. Skip the flavorless Tex Mex for grilled items and a shake. Can't go wrong on a lazy summer afternoon.
