A great place for a sammich in BTV. I stop there every other week when I am on Church St. for business. Anxiously awaiting their homemade soups & chili as the seasons change. Until then, I satisfy my hunger with one of their generously portioned custom sandwiches on homemade bread. It usually makes two meals for me. The staff is super friendly and customer focused & I like that.

What got my attention was the menu posted on the wall outside, prompting me to come closer and thus go inside. Glad I did, the sandwiches ladies were very nice and there is quite a selection of beverages considering its not a big 'shoppe'. The sanwich was very good, I was able to taste every thing - the oat bread, tomatos, ham, mustard etc. And it was very filling. The only thing I'd say is maybe an extra slice of ham would've made it even better. I'd definitely go back here, it seems like a great lunch spot.

Great place to stop in and get a quick bite. Reasonable prices for Church St. and fast service. Rotating daily menu and a great day-to-day menu make this place almost a daily visit for me. Whether it be breakfast (Good Time Sally) or lunch (Total Meltdown) this place does not disappoint.

Great sandwiches. Pretty sure they roast their own meats. Friendly staff. Get whatever the special is, it's almost always good.

Just had their special of the day, Thai spicy chicken wrap, excellent, service was fast and friendly, great quality eats!

Love this hidden gem. I love grabbing a sandwich to go, while walking downtown. I've had a few great under $10 meals from TOTB. They have a great Thai wrap and an amazing turkey BLT sandwich with maple mayo. Their bread is homemade and thick cut, justifying the $6-8 per sandwich. They have a good variety of bottled drinks, chips, muffins, and giant cookies. Always check what the daily special is!

I go here for lunch at least once a week when I am working downtown. They are super fast and very friendly. Sandwiches are simple but good, just what I like for lunch. Not too expensive, right in line with most places downtown. Good lunch place for those with only 1/2 lunch break.

I had the chicken bacon ranch wrap and it was very tasty. There is minimal seating and no facilities, but a great place to stop while wandering church st.

This place has one of the BEST chicken salads ever! The rye bread is awesome, and the servers are friendly. This is a great place to grab a sandwich and chips for lunch, or a cup of coffee and a cookie for a snack. Must stop by if u are in Burlington!!!!

Great place for quick easy business lunch. Quality food with simple ingredients. The girls who work there are very accommodating.

Top of the Block is your typical neighborhood sandwich shoppe, except for the fact that it resides on Church St., which usually means that the prices are inflated for mediocre product. However, I was surprised that all of the sandwiches were around $6, including specialty sandwiches for only a quarter more. This makes it more likely that I will buy sandwiches here over franchises like Subway or Quiznos. I got half a Reuben sandwich for a fair $3.50. The sandwich was a bit small, but the taste was decent. I wish it came with more meat, but I guess this isn't a New York deli. I couldn't really tell if the rye bread was fresh as advertised, but at least it was toasted. It also looked like they had cheap homemade soups, which may prove to be comforting during the cold winters here.

Delectable gourmet sandwiches. Fresh bread, cute little corner deli. Perfect for take out. When I worked down town I loved to grab my lunch here. Check out the panini's!!

This company has horrible customer service. You would think that being a small town local business they would value this entity, but they do not. Instead the old crabby woman who worked there not only provided me with poor service, but went as far as to make me feel stupid in a situation that should have easily been taken care of in a classy and accomidating fashion. Needless to say, I will not be going back there anytime soon.
