Good pizza, if it's fresh from the oven (sometimes it sits out a while). It's a fun place.

Pizza is very good for a place outside of the pizza belt. Eclectic clientele, good beer selection, and it gets better when it's crowded. One bartender was clearly uninterested in speaking to anyone without gauge earrings and face tattoos, but everyone else was cool.

This place is awesome. The pizza is some of the very best in Burlington, hands down. The beer list is fantastic, and the service is super friendly and inviting. Not to mention, there are always rotating specials and it's just a fun place to be. My husband and I just moved up from Boston and frequent often. I would highly recommend this place!

They have really been expanding their beer selection over the past few years. The bartenders are cool and prompt. The music is a mixed variety and I have definitely seen some great live shows here over the years. Open mic night is always entertaining. The music can be super loud sometimes. It depends who is playing and who is working the sound board. The pizza is pretty good and not expensive. Come here for great beer and loud music. The tables in the front are a bit more quiet and chill for conversations. Good specials on pizza, wings, and beer.

My favorite pizza spot in Burlington! Although, sometimes it is a bit over-crowded feeling

:::Drool::: Manhattans :::Drool::: All-you-can-eat wings and pizza for only $8? COUNT ME IN! Unlimited soda for $1 more? YES PLEASE! Trough after trough after trough of unlimited wings pretty much defined my Tuesday nights in 2003-2004. (Shout out to Phil K., one of my partners in crime!) Mild, Hot, Superhot, Honey BBQ, Regular BBQ, Teriyaki, carrot and celery sticks, paper plates, napkins. TONS of napkins. Covered in wing juice and sauce. The glory of our victory was determined by the size of the boneyard we constructed by the end of the hour. And if per chance we ate the wings faster than the Manhattans staff could replenish the supply, the pizza stood as a formidable distraction. The pizza! Oh the pizza... I just got chills thinking about that scrumptious pizza. DISCLAIMER: No chickens were harmed in the making of this review. We just ate their wings. Thousands of them. For $8.

Manhattan Pizza saved me from many a hangover in college. Stumbling in right after the bars closed (or a few minutes before to save yourself the line) to order a few slices. Pizza never tasted so good. And I never felt so decent the next day even after a 12 hour drinkfest. Definitely go for the $8 all-you-can-eat pizza and wings night. In the summer, they open the place up. Nice place to grab a quick slice before heading downtown.

Manhattan's is killing it! The new owners have really turned things around in the past year or so. With a hugely expanded line up of craft beer offerings it's now a more causal (and cheaper) alternative to The Farmhouse or Mule Bar. My only knock against this place is that they got rid of their Turtles in Time arcade game. C'mon, guys!

This is the kind of place where memories are made and then probably lost the next morning. Especially if you order a "trashcan." It's got a dive bar feel, but it's not skanky. Their pizza is usually very tasty. But seriously. Trashcan.

Come here for the drinks and stay for the drinks! Just don't stay for the pizza as it is not good!! It's a great place to have some fun and drinks though!! if I lived in Vermont, I'd be going back again soon. Just, like I said, not for the pizza!

Good pizza, truly NY style. Friendly staff and patrons. Enjoyed watching football here. Free music on the weekends. Good location, good buffet and good prices!

My favorite place to eat downtown. The food and service are outstanding. Great draft selection and Jabu always takes care of us. Thanks

SO GOOD! I come from the New Haven, CT area with amazing pizza like Pepe's, Modern, Abates (if your ever in that area, try the pizza it will change your life) so this has caused me to be a bit of a pizza snob. Since living in Burlington, I had a hard time finding good pizza, but finally, I have found one! Manhattan Pizza is really good! I got the buffalo chicken pizza, and I have also tried their Philly cheese-steak sub which usually has a deal on Fridays where its only like $5 or something cheap like that! The food is delicious, the staff is kind, and it has been an overall

I refused to purchase any food from this place because they did not recognize my canadian driving license as id so I can only eat and not drink. Shame on you.

Great place for live music, Philly cheese steaks for cheap on Fridays. Huge beer selection. Pretty cheap.

The pizza here is stellar. I came with my girlfriend while looking for food off Church street and we stopped in to give it a shot, and its one of our favorite pizza places now! Try the mozzarella sticks. They're great. The atmosphere was a little interesting, more like a bar than a pizza place, very hipster, but I've come to expect that from Burlington. I felt a little out of place, but the food was amazing. Overall, a great experience!

Manhattan Pizza & Pub has a great ambience. It is hip/grungy, with talkative bouncers and a fair selection of beers. There are some weird characters milling around there on the weekends, along with totally average students and older people. I think a 6:1 ratio of the normal to the odd is a perfect mix for a bar. This hilarious dude almost got into a fight next to our table and since a very polite/observant man warned us about the brewing trouble, we were able to turn around and enjoy it rather than get accidentally knocked over while he flailed. I will say that one particular night they had put up a lot of beers on their chalk board that weren't available on tap yet, so every time we would try to order beers (that were on the menu!) they would cut us off and say they weren't actually available until the next night. Why did you write them on the board then??

That was the worst experience I have had in a year!! My 10 yr old Son and I waited 40 min for wings, then the pizza came out 2 min later with all the stuff that we asked be left off. I can only be told sorry so many times - if they were sorry they would have taken care of the check! Poor. We will never go back!!!!

I could hangout here for days on days, and I probably have. Not the best Pizza in town but def in the conversation. Fu D.

Wow! I was completely taken by surprise at Manhattan Pizza & Pub. Hubby and I were in Burlington, VT for the weekend and really wanted to grab a slice of pizza. Being short on time and hungry, we stopped into Manhattan Pizza. We ordered their house specialty, the Manhattan. It was absolutely fabulous! The crust was just right, the vegetables firm and tasty and the meat was fresh! It was truly scrumptious! Another wonderful surprise was the live band that began playing around 9. The sounds of The Bumping Jones were awesome and made our night truly awesome!

I only came in here for a drink with a group of 3 others. It was during Mardi Gras so it was crowded. Probably a different scene on a regular day, but the bartender was good and the drinks weren't expensive so, not so bad considering they were packed to their maximum capacity. The pizza looked good - would've liked to have tried it.

Horrible food. Terrible service. Undrinkable drinks. Three strikes and you're OUT, in my mind. I realized this far too late. I stubbled on this spot coming in late one Sunday night from the BEST (west) coast ... Looking for a bite to eat in this small town at 10:30 PM. Not good. A college dive bar, for sure. You'd have to be stoned, drunk AND starving to eat the stuff coming out of that kitchen. Pretty pitiful, really.

I just completed a week long stay in Burlington and this was by far my favorite place in the city. We walked in during Philly Friday because the chalkboard outside caught our eye. You walk in, grab a menu, order at the bar and have a seat. They have basic bar food and I ordered the Philly. The man and woman working were extremely friendly and gave us as much time as we needed. The decor was mainly bar signs, no real flow. While I was waiting for my food I was able to watch a baseball game and listen to Johnny Cash playing int he BACKGROUND. The music was at the perfect level so I could still carry on conversation and hear myself think. The Philly was excellent. The bread was very good and the flavor was great. Like I said, I was in Burlington for a week and this is the only place where the food, drinks, prices, and service were beyond average.

I live literally a couple doors down from Manhattan, have ordered on a regular basis, and have always had great service and product. However, my last order really sucked. The pizza was cold, the crust was at least 1/3 of the entire pie, I ordered extra sauce (which wasn't added), and the pizza was burnt. I called again tonight to hopefully have them redeem themselves (I even mentioned how awful my previous order was). The guy on the phone gave me $5 off (totally unexpected, but quite nice). I proceeded to order my usual -- x-sauce, pepperoni, banana peppers (sometimes a mix with jalapenos). I was really surprised, especially after having just complained and even receiving a discount -- my pizza arrived ICE cold. WTF I live a couple doors down, and can't get a hot pizza? Plus, I counted literally 8 slices of banana pepper and 7 pepperoni. Really how incredibly chintzy is that ? Without the discount that small pizza would have been $12. Plus, it was also really well done, and was black in spots. I don't know what to say, other than I will not be ordering from them in the future. There are a TON of pizza places in Burlington, why should I give my hard earned money for a crappy product?

Great speicals! Everyday there is something cool going on! Ended 'Monday Karaoke Nite' with Bohemian Rhapsody to an entranced crowded, where the DJ later proclaimed: I have hear many people do that song... but never NAIL IT.

I love the footlong Philly Cheesesteak Fridays for $5 promotion. The sub is huge and they don't skimp out on the meat or cheese. For that kind it value, it sure does beat your local Subway or Quiznos. On the other hand their pizzas didn't measure up. I have a deep passion for New York style pizza and I have had my fair share. They got the thinness right, but something just didn't taste right. I tried one with meatballs and another with just mushrooms. The one topped with meatballs had a strange gamey taste. The mushrooms tasted good, but the sauce didn't taste familiar. The crust was a bit too doughy for my liking. Other than that, the prices are fair and you'll at least get a better pizza than Domino's.

In Vermont for a wedding and having missed the end of Pride, my travel buddy and I found ourselves roaming aimlessly through Burlington at night, tryin' to find some action. ...And then we heard metal. Pints of hard liquor, cheap beer, and Lord Silky. A totally strange crowd. Baseball on the TVs. This is where it's at, man.

Great fun place to go in Burlington. We go for dinner at least once a month. The beer selection is fantastic. The Philly sub and pizza are great. The service is the friendliest in Burlington.

Amidst the noise of college coeds, hippies playing pool, and me playing the original Mortal Kombat on arcade, was a reallllllly good burger for $5 and the worst pizza I have ever eaten for $2. Seriously. This was the worst pizza I have ever eaten; in fact, I might chalk it up as the only pizza I have ever not eaten- it was just uneatable. The worst. However, we had a lot of fun here. Quick aside, I totally blew up this kids spot and probably made sure he didn't get laid that night. He was at the ATM and it wasn't giving him money- there was a girl with him and they needed it for the cab. He goes, "it's broken, it's not giving me money." It gave me money. It gave my girlfriend money. Clearly it's one of those ATMs that requires you to have money in your bank account for it to actually disperse cash for you. Perhaps if he had spent less money getting this girl wasted enough to go home with him, he could have had the money needed to get home. But probably, had he not had the girl wasted, there would have been no reason to leave. It's a real catch 22. I also may have prevented an unplanned pregnancy that night. So I guess that's another point for me.

Awful and rude service. They served me the wrong beer, when I said something the guy actually said "whatever." We ordered a couple of slices of pizza, paid and sat down and waited. After 15 minutes, we asked about them and he looked all annoyed and said to be patient (there were probably 5 other people in the whole place.) After another 15 minutes, we asked again and he said he never ordered anything! We finally got our pizza slices after another 10 minutes, with no apology. I will never go here again.

First of all, the all-you-can eat pizza and wings are now $10.95, which isn't that much of a great deal, unless you're going to really pig out. The service here was horrendous - it was a Saturday afternoon, and while it was busy in Burlington, it isn't like it was that busy in the restaurant, but the red-headed stoner dude behind the counter was clearly flustered and couldn't handle more than one simple task at a time. Watching him do his job was like watching paint dry, but more frustrating. Out of the 12-15 taps of interesting beer that they had there, at least 6 of them were out of order, and half of the remaining ones were pushing out warm, flat beer. HELLO! This is Burlington - you gotta serve good beer!!! As for the food, the pizza was OK - kinda flavorless until you added your own garlic, italian seasonings, pepper flakes and cheese. Oh, and it is kinda dingy. This could be an awesome little place - great location, nice menu, lots of good beers and big screen TVs, but the execution just sucks.

The beer flows freely and they have a few hard-to-find seasonal beers like Shipyard's Pumpkinhead on tap. The pizza toppings are fresh and the pastas are customizable, but why are they wasting these fresh, delicious toppings on school cafeteria-quality pizza? Definitely a place to drink first, eat later until their pizza shapes up.

My favorite traditional pizza in Burlington. Funnily enough, it reminds me of the great pizza I've had in Boston, not Manhattan. They really do put out some great work on those pies. The all you can eat pizza/wings night are a great deal. I love that they'll make any type of slice you want. Sometimes, I would go in and want eggplant, sometimes olive. Why choose? Get both! Without ordering a whole pizza. The atmosphere in Manhattan is so casual and down to earth, it's always a nice place to just go an relax with friends while having a beer and eating delicious pizza. I also highly recommend their cheesy garlic bread. For real, guys, it's outstanding. It also really didn't hurt that I had a crush on the bartender here, haha. What can I say? There's so much to recommend about this place, including the servers!

One of the nastiest places to eat in Burlington, hands down..!! The food is terrible, overpriced (like every place in Btown VT), and the place is usually filthy from the tables down. I've never been in a place w/ so many tables in need of bus service, or even a general wipe down. The place has a funky odor to match the dirty decor and terrible eating tables. I ate there again a few days back, thinking something may have changed, but after 2 bites of my sub (which I HAD to eat elsewhere because of the P-Funk in that place) the 1st homeless person to ask me for food got the "prized" sandwich. UNLESS you're STARVING and the FOOD is FREE, there's no reason to waste your time in that place. It's really gone down hill in the last few years...
