It's a very friendly deli with a solid menu of offerings (sandwiches, subs, salads, gyros, etc.). The $7.99 lunch combo (any sub, chips or fries, and a 20oz drink) has got to be the best deal in Tyson's. The Godfather, cheesesteak, and Jersey Boy are my picks. (just try ordering a "12 inch hot jersey boy" with a straight face)

Update: They now have Korean food (bulgogi bimbimbop) on Mondays, and it's pretty good! I'll definitely be going back.

Cornerstone Deli, formerly known as "Jimmy G's" (and frequently still referred to it as such), might be the best "go to" for a steak and cheese in the Tyson's Corner area. I'm not sure that it's even open on the weekends, because it's in more of the business area of Tyson's, and the majority of people who frequent this place seem to be people who work in the Tyson's area. I heard of this place by word of mouth, and my friends who told me about it told me to order the steak and cheese, with everything on it, no substitutions. So I did and it was AWESOME! Don't ruin this piece of artwork by making substitutions. Don't take away even an onion. Don't add extra tomatoes. Just take it as is. I'm not certain how anything else tastes, since I only get the steak and cheese. Pretty much everyone that I know that work in Tyson's only gets the steak and cheese as well! They might as well be called "Come get the Steak & Cheese". The downfall is you can't call the order in. They are too darn busy to answer the phone (which is a good thing)! So you have to either fax or go in person. Give it a shot!

Simply put this is a mediocre Deli with overpriced sandwiches and inconsistent portions. This place is in the heart of a very busy area so by default we all eat here. More often than not they will screw up your order and the service is frequently bad. Strictly convenience is the name of the game here. Jimmy G was a great guy and the Deli was much better run by him and his family than it will ever be today. Thankfully the new family here kept his sandwiches and just renamed them. However they cut most of his ingredients.

This place was packed but I suspect because there is a severe lack of eateries in the area and this is the only place that fit the bill. When I think back I just felt "dirty" being in this place. It's not the cleanest and it felt a little run down. Sandwiches are below average. I went to Cornerstone Deli for lunch today and I got a fountain drink. When I was about half-way done with my soda I noticed that there were ants crawling around inside my cup. Maybe 15-20 ants. I showed it to them and they didn't even respond. They didn't make any kind of apology or even try to give me a refund. They didn't even offer another cup or a different drink. I am never going back, and health services should be notified. I didn't scream or freak out about the ants in my drink, because really it isn't a huge deal But if they have ants in their soda machine, what other health violations are going on.
