Wow! So many options here. I come here almost every day for lunch and sometimes breakfast as well. The staff here are very friendly and will customize any order. They really will make you anything if they have the means to do so. The place is clean as well for as much traffic as it gets. Lot's of bottled and canned drink options available. There is a fresh salad bar with as many toppings as one could ask for. They have an extensive menu that they have added on to since their recent reno. The prices here aren't hateful either. $6.50 special sandwich/chips or drink combos. That's a lot band for your buck around here. I'd be luck to get a small coffee and scone for that price across the street at Starsucks! His morning I ate a stack of 3 blueberry pancakes with a side of bacon for $5. And it was delicious. So, if you are looking for a lunch on a budget or even breakfast before hopping on the metro this place has got you covered. I highly recommend it! If you like spicy things try the chipotle grilled chicken sandwich (I don't really fancy spicy things & I almost died but it tasted great!)

Last night, we had a fantastic dinner in the private dining room with our best friends. From the beginning (walking through the kitchen) to the end (glorious desserts and drinks), everything was excellent. Nico selected perfect wines for us and our server, Mary, was incredibly helpful with menu selections. The private dining room is absolutely perfect for intimate gatherings. We are already planning and looking forward to our next visit!
Great service; great food. Frankly if they didn't have foie gras on the menu it would be 5 stars. There are only a few things I won't morally eat (e.g dolphin, shark fin soup) and foie gras is one. But that aside, this place is fantastic. I got there at 6pm on a Sunday. Service was top notch. We had salmon with barley and a brisket. The brisket was some of the best I've ever had. So yeah, subtract the foie gras and it is awesome - ahead of Maple Ave Cafe these days (which has gone downhill since it opened.)
My wife and I went went with another couple and we all agreed that the food was superb. However, we were seated at the table directly behind the hostess stand and felt that it was some what intrusive. A screen between the Hostess stand and the table would greatly improve the ambiance. Additionally, the noise level was quite high and there did not appear to be much in the way of decoration to absorb any of the noise. When we mentioned it to our waiter he told us that the restaurant had engaged an engineer to determine what could be done to reduce the noise levels. If the noise levels can be improved, then I think this will become a 5-star restaurant.

Met friends for Saturday brunch and had a great experience at Maple Ave Restaurant. This was our first time dining at the restaurant and gave it a try from the positive Yelp reviews. This is a darling of a restaurant. You hope to find this kind of place in your neighborhood where the place is quaint, the staff friendly, and the food prepared with exceptional care. We just got the sense that the owners and staff really love this place. I also love that they source as much of their ingredients from local farmers. The restaurant seats about 30 people so it's best to call ahead for a reservation. If you like Bloody Marys then you need to try them here. The Bloody Mary mix is prepared fresh on-site. You can see freshly grated horseradish, taste clam juice and spices, and it comes garnished with a thinly sliced cucumber. And the best part...at brunch the Bloody Mary is bottomless! Our group had the following items and they were all great: - Shrimp & Grits: Very good. It's not a spicy dish as found in the deep south. - Mac & Cheese: OMG is this good. - Kimchi & Eggs with Chinese Chorizo: I love the fusion of this dish - Fish & Chips: Batter on the fish was crispy and seasoned well. The fish was tender and the seasoned french fries were tasty. - Tuna Sandwich: The sandwish is comprised of a tuna steak on a brioche bun and comes with the tasty seasoned french fries. - Omelette: Well prepared and came with hash potatoes. All in all a great experience!
Stuck in Centreville and its Korean food, respectively. Find myself these days venturing in Vienna. And, I must say Maple is a newly found staple of V-town. Holy Moly, Pulled Pork BBQ? Yellow Curry chicken? Chocolate dumplings? Spanish Dumplings? I gaga over a lady named Maple. If you haven't noticed by now the place is very eclectic. The customer service was delightful. It serves everything from Spanish to Asian and with delicate fusion flavors. Every small plate and main entree is well prepared and meticulously decorated. As for the taste? Let's just say I will be back here more than 5 times before the year ends. The dishes and atmosphere (local artworks on every wall) of this place seems a bit out of place in Vienna and should be in DC. A bit pricey but is worth every bite. But the Maple Ave Restuarant is a gem in a fruitious town of various cuisine spots.
Great! This brand new restaurant offers gourmet food that is cooked by an experienced chef that was trained at the French Culinary Institute in NYC. You'll find the same dishes here that you would at posh restaurants in downtown DC - the quality is fantastic and we're lucky to have this right in the middle of Vienna. The menu ranges from basics like the Maple Ave Burger to a Bulgogi Lettuce Wrap and various French dishes - that said, prices are very affordable. The environment was comfortable - large windows let you look right out onto Maple Avenue (the street) to people watch -- and hip music plays in the background while you eat - there are about seven tables, capable of seating four people to each table -- so it is quite intimate. They also have an extensive wine list, and offer several craft beers. Bottled soda available as well.

Social Burger

350 Maple Ave W

Reviews:
I noticed this new "Social" Burger place on a Yelp site promotion and was happy to welcome a new player in the burger scene of NOVA. The reviews I read sparked my curiosity even more as they seemed to be "one sided" if you know what I mean. Not taking many 5 star ratings on a brand new business seriously I began to inquire and found one knowledgeable burger connoisseur that provided substance behind his sentences and I was back on a mature rating system for Social Burger. Visited tonight and there are some highs and lows I'd like to share. Keep in mind my overall rating is 4 stars, yes, I am a fan after one visit but there are a few things I am going to have to give grace on because....well, I just like them! My 5 suggestions to make your visit a happy one are: 1. Go ALONE or with 1 friend, spouse or child. Kinda funny how a place named "Social" Burger doesn't have space to "social-ize". IMHO, this is SB's BIGGEST challenge. There are 25 seats in an extremely small place and 13 of those 25 seats are at a counter top. Many customers ordered their burgers to go but what is "Social" about that??? Again, I like them but this is a challenge, I hope they overcome it. 2. Visit on NON-PEAK HOURS, this is how serious I view the seating. They also sit in a shared shopping center of store fronts and limited parking..It was full on a Sunday night at 6pm. Forgive redundancy. 3. Look at the SPECIALS BOARD and not just the printed menu! Although not a special I found out that they offer Pork Belly as a side (not listed in menu)! Don't judge me on wanting it on a burger, obviously I am not the only one! ;-) 4. BEG AND PLEAD they will make their Turkey Burger aka "Thanksgiving Special" for you! Best Turkey Burger I have ever tried, ever. Moist and filling..yeah, it has stuffing and Jalapeño Cranberry Jelly! They say it will be gone next week! 5. AVOID the shake.....or if you must, TRY IT and tell me that I am wrong. Okay went there for a beef burger and meticulously performed my ritual for burger judging....Ordered a Regular Cheeseburger (double in this case) add bacon, add runny fried egg and add cheese (paid extra for each of those but only a buck each so not bad for a good burger. I pulled a good portion of meat away from the concoction and tasted for flavor and temperature. SB's burger had flavor of its own but was cooked to a Well done temp and in itself a tad dry. That said, the sum of the parts was delicious and I liked it!!! The bun was special; soft, airy and light. So, final thought.....If you're a fan of 5 Guys you will love SB's offerings in my opinion. My 4-Star Rating means what it is supposed to "Yay, I am a fan!"
I ordered two Matthew burgers, two fries, and two milk shakes...I kid you not my bill was $35 and change! The milk shakes were in a small tiny cup...there were plenty of fries and the burger was just ok. I wish I went down the road to McDonald's.i would have got my money's worth. The tipping thing was just wrong...you only get the option to tip 10% 15 or 20%. Really...I was doing take out! You weren't "serving" me...tip jar on the counter would have sufficed..to throw a dollar or two in. I had no service..burgers took a long time...and counter person kept taking new people instead of finishing my tiny milkshake...while I waited patiently :( Sorry won't be back. I would much rather have a waiter refilling my drinks and sitting at a nice table for $35 for two burgers at Ruby Tuesday...salad bar is only $2.99 with my meal. I could have had dessert too!
Love this family run burger joint! Everything about this place is great. Don't miss out on the pork belly addition or the hand-cut fries.

This place was pretty much my home during my three and a half tenure as a Tysons Corner working stiff. The family who owns this hot food bar is absolutely adorable -- I am especially a fan of the Korean grandpa who pretty much makes the same joke every time I paid for my meal. If you come here around lunch time, be sure to keep an eye out for an extremely red faced, terse looking man who sits in the front of the dining area. I have no idea who he is but he will sit there for hours at a time and the owners of the restaurant will wait on him by hand and foot (even though it is a self-serve cafeteria). I have nicknamed him the Tycon Cafe Don. Even if you do not have Cafeteria-Mafia like connections, the owners will treat you very well. There are several times when I have forgotten my credit card and they have allowed me to pay you the next day. They also do office catering and their 8229 Boone Boulevard Christmas party and summer picnic is something that I looked forward to every year. Regarding the hot food bar, the menu changes daily but my favorite days were when they had barbequed pulled pork, butter chicken, or their Greek style chicken. Their gyros were pretty on point as well --- they spit roasted the lamb on a giant rotating skewer just like they do at authentic Lebanese restaurants. You can't beat that at an office cafeteria!

Really good chicken and rice. The yellow and green sauces you get on the side are very good too. I have never been to the actual location but my office orders from them all the time and the chicken and rice is always very good. This is definitely a mom and pop place because on occasion they have run out of chicken for the day which stinks but that also means the chicken is extremely fresh. I don't normally write a review when I know so little about a place but I really love the chicken so I had to write something.

When my friend suggested this place for a quick meetup/bfast I didn't know what she was talking about. I pull up, and I realized not only have I been here before, I used to drive past everyday before/after work. Whoops. Never knew the name. To be honest, I wish I came more often when I worked in Tysons. The food is solid, and the service is efficient. I had the bulgogi omelette, which comes out as a very large portion. The flavors mix well together and I love the addition of cheese. Most asian food doesn't come with cheese, it's not standard at all. When you purchase coffee, you have to get it yourself. They don't actually give you these instructions. I think it's the same for fountain drinks. My friend and her fiance both ordered coffee, but had to ask when it didn't come out with the food. For first timers, you can be a bit confused. Obviously, you see the display right there but yeah.. Also, calling out the order is strange. You can barely hear them and you have to basically guess when your food comes. I ordered before my friends and received my food some time after they did.
When this first opened I worked here for a year with the original owners. Great experience for me and will always cherish the interesting memories. Fast forward many years later.. For the past 10 years it been under the new owners they have done a great a great job. Serving great food, and keeping their original signature style and taste of the original owners Tyson's bagel market back in 1994..
Looking for a bagel place for breakfast and found this place. Clean, steady stream of customers and quick service. Good selection of bagels, breakfast sandwich and lunch items. Tried the bul go gi omelette... very yummy and generous portion size. Good selection of bagels with generous cream cheese. Would definitely come back...
