Not sure why they only have three stars. This is by far one of the nicest Starbucks I have been to in the area. The service is always amazing when I am here and the baristas always seem to be happy.

Good interior seating. Harried baristas so not the welcoming feeling that you'd like for your local coffee house. Coffee at Starbucks is consistent if you're looking for just the grab and go. Outside seating area was a plus for enjoying weather and reading the paper while sipping our lattes.

Came here the day after thanksgiving at 9:30am. The store was basically empty, the barista at the bar messed my wifes drink up twice and my drink up once. I was so frustrated that I just took the third iteration of drinks. I didn't realize that instead of the venti and grande I received a tall and a grande. I didn't notice this under I got home, this location constantly ruins drinks- they are in desperate need of management adjustment.

The coffee was hot and fresh and the service was good. Kudos for that. While it has some outdoor seating, it was a cool, rainy day. There wasn't enough indoor seating to accommodate the "crowd" at 5PM on a Sunday. Subtract points for that. This Starbucks is in a good, convenient location, but it's not a put on your black turtleneck shirt and browse the New York Times on your iPad kind of coffeehouse. It's the neighborhood equivalent of an airport Starbucks...a grab 'n go coffee bar. Which isn't always a bad thing...

As Starbucks go, this one needs to grow up a bit. The new manager spent 5 minutes ogling the hot young chick and telling her all about his recent promotion and how he hated the other store he was at all the while neglecting to ensure timely materialization of our order...during the morning rush hour! We heard how she was too sweaty from her walk to stop in and say hello to him when she walked by that other store recently (spare us). There was a long line but either he didn't notice or he didn't care. The guy at the cashier rushed our order and forgot to ring up an item though he read it back and stated it so when we asked where it was and he realized the error he did apologize but I was faced with a long line of annoyed business people rolling their eyes when I had to step back o the counter to pay for and receive the forgotten item. Yesterday a different group was working and service was also very very slow. We went to this store every day for a week and every day the service was slow in spite of them having a full crew of staff behind the counter. I watched at least 2 customers on different days hand their drinks back to the staff asking for a refund because it either wasn't what they had ordered in one case and "tasted awful" in the other case. End of the world? Ruin our day? Not even close...just annoying...you come to expect a minimum level of service and quality from a national chain like this but given we know it's the new manager and staff that was slowing things down we thought some feedback may help them get back on track to the business of making lattes. To the manager - Dude, get her number and get back to work please LOL I frequent SBux stores all over the country and I rate this store among the least mature in service. Maybe time to retrain this crew.

The staff here is outstanding - the best in the coffee game. Go often! These folks will learn your name and your drink and will hustle to get it to you faster than you can believe. Best in town.

I like this location-a lot. Right outside the Rosslyn metro, next door to Chopt, close to Chipotle. Good baristas, and they remember you. Never had an order go wrong here.

There is a bum outside--at least one. The place is small. The coffee is Starbucks. I hate that--others may like it. Not many places to sit. More like a mission church of the Starbucks empire.

This Starbucks fluctuates between being insanely busy from all the nearby offices, or being totally deserted. In both instances it will take forever to get your drink- in the former because of the line, in the latter because only one person will be doing any work and they will do so at a glacial pace. Quality during the rushes is high (or at least, Starbucks standard), they seem to have the strong baristas working then- quality in the slow times can be hit or miss, especially with a drink that's more complicated than a basic latte or iced coffee. I've also seen drinks go missing here a few times (the cashiers are not always great about marking your cup as you're ordering, and cups get lost in the shuffle) and the person on bar is really rude about it. Like, if this person has been standing at the bar since I walked in to the store twenty minutes ago, odds are their drink isn't in the queue since even this store isn't THAT slow. As others have mentioned the seating situation is pretty awful.

Not the kind of place that urges you to linger. The furniture looks like it came from Goodwill. And I'm sure the resident bum outside the front door all day long doesn't help business either. But the baristas have been great every time I've walked in, and that's definitely worth something.

Zero stars if possible. This Starbucks defines the failure of corporate coffee. After coming by for several years, ONLY when absolutely necessary because I just have to have a coffee . . . I've decided to never step foot in again. To quote many sources, what starbucks does well is consistently serve inferior, undrinkable coffee-one has no expectations of a great experience with the coffee. That aside, a couple of long-term baristas here can customize the milk process to at least make something to satisfy the fix before driving all day, or when it's raining and I can't get to a real cafe. Why never go again? I took my friend and her niece to the store, where we had been coming during her visit, to buy lunch, bad coffee, and some juice and snacks, mostly food. $20 dropped regularly. Minimum $8 each time. We've been there many, many other times over the years for the same reasons. While looking over some mugs to choose three to buy as souvenirs to take home, an arrogant idiotic employee turns the corner, and immediately, without questions, and without thinking about what is going on, says, "keep your child from touching the merchandise on the shelves . . ." The child does not break things. If so, then it gets paid for. Kids aren't guilty until proven innocent. This guy was an idiot, as well as the two unfriendly, untrained women behind the counter. We walked out, and now that's it. Two other ridiculous, poorly-trained employees chimed in with their corporatecoffee-speak to suggest that kids just break things. A visit the next day to the Starbucks on Wisconsin was a completely different experience, where we peacefully looked at mugs, bought three, and added $10 of coffee/snacks. Sale made. $37 total. Customer served well. Friendly environment. Trained employees and efficient manager. That's the only stuff Starbucks is ever good at, and it's completely missing at this Rosslyn location! Rosslyn should think more about moving the wifi crowd that hangs out for eight hours a day instead of hassling good paying customers. Lose one customer, lose three, they talk, lose ten more, they talk, lose 100 customers, etc. That's how business works. The Manager, District Manager, etc. are not training the staff here well, and such an experience with merchandising should never, ever happen. No excuses! Where the hell is the district manager? Making dropbys to check out employee attitude? Probably not. I'll go to other stores when I'm hitting the road and need a quick, if awful, latte. Lost sales add up, and other blind, arrogant corporations have paid the price of poor management and poor attitudes. I'll take my dollars to real cafes that serve modern, up-to-standard, third wave espresso-based products and who appreciate my business.

They make decent coffee, but the staff need some hearing exams pronto. This is my neighborhood establishment, and they can't even get my name right, even when I spell it out to them. DJ became "TJ" in my last 3 visits (same cashier, mind you) and Dani became "Ani" after spelling it twice for her today. Really? If I end up picking up someone else's order due to misspelling, that's definitely not my problem. Going by "Bob" from now on.. though, they may misspell that too.

I was just here getting coffee for the marine corps marathon as we cheer on our family. They told us the bathrooms were not working and had out signs on the door, however I was able to get in before they stopped me. (After watching an employee go in and then come back out) The restrooms are working properly, they just moved tables from the store inside the bathroom to fit more people in the store. Very disappointed that they would lie to customers about this and then close both restrooms in this public store. Alex, the store manager, needs to rethink his business plan.

It is a fine Starbucks, but lacks much of s coffee shop feel. Very much a get your drink and leave type of place.

Work on the shape of your derriere... as it flattens and goes numb from the hard chairs at this Starbucks. This location has three tiny tables and around eight chairs. These chairs are near the door so you can enjoy the arctic blast every time the door opens, watch the single laptop user take up the ONLY large table, the homeless guy come in to thaw, and assorted baby-boomers (I only know because their ears pricked up when I talked about them - not them, but in general), and other frost-bitten souls lost in Rosslyn on a weekend (how good it will be when Rosslyn gets a life outside of work). Fortunately, the conversation and revolutions hatched with my fellow coffee drinkers made for a well-rounded ending.

The baristas are great.. and it's the only place open when I want my coffee. It's much better than the one by my job in Eastern Market, but through various recipe interpretations, inconsistent pricing on my "a**hole Starbucks order" I only order drip coffee, which they have (luckily) never ruined. And this particular store makes me smell less like beans when I leave, which is a good thing.

Just like any other location. What's even better it's closer to where I work. Starbucks for the morning, Chipotle for lunch.

I came to this location periodically when I lived in Arlinton for a few years, and now when I'm in town it's my go-to Starbucks for my morning coffee. The sevice is great, always has been, and the spaciousness and cleanliness are nice. I like the outdoor seating too, and wish that I had a Starbucks near me with the same set-up. Kings Plaza and Kings Highway in Brooklyn? Even if they tried it, traffic-choked Flatbush and dirty Kings Highwat=y would never be as pleasant for sitting outside to enjoy a morning or afternoon coffee break.

This particular Starbucks location has always been good to me. It's on N Lynn St in Rosslyn so it can be a little bit busy around lunch time ... or any other time. But that's not really much of a problem here. The staff is polite and they seem to be on their game most of the time, making fraps and iced coffees quickly and getting out orders in a timely fashion. I've also never had my order made incorrectly at this location and I've been here 10 times easy. The flavors of a particular drink can vary with each visit though. Overall, this is a decent location!
