Came here on a recommendation from a fellow hiker in Zion. The best things to order here are: 1) Chicken Fried Steak 2) Rack of Ribs 3) Onion Rings-nice beer batter rings. All entrees come with soup and salad bar which is awesome. Their beef vegetable soup was really tasty and I had at least 3 cups of it. DO NO ORDER THE FOLLOWING ITEMS: 1) Grilled Veggie Sandwhich: It was horrible!! The veggies were diced and there was wayyyy to much feta cheese. I picked out the veggies as much as I could and ate them. Thank God I was already full from the soup/salad bar. 2) Fish and Chips: Holy Cow..these were a poor excuse of F&C. The only thing good were the sweet potato fries. 3) Rib Eye-At first glance, you're wowed by the sheer size of the steak they bring you. And then you examine it and notice about 1/5th of it is FAT. Normally most restaurants trip huge chunks of fat from the steak, but for some reason, they decided to leave it on for 2 of my friends..We complained and the waitress was nice enough to take 10% off the bill. Though this place was "ok", we still thought the food was MUCH MUCH better than Casa De Amigos..Don't go there for sure!!! Well, go there for the cute waiter Damon..but that's it! For sure don't order the Carne Asada plate!

Worst service ever. Hostess sat my wife and I down in a booth and forgot about us. After waiting for 35 minutes for the waiter/waitress to show...we left and went to the restaurant next door. Please note that the restaurant was not busy at that time; only 2 other parties having lunch. A couple arrived just b4 we left and received service and had their order taken right away...wth...selective service??? We are staying at the Pioneer Lodge and chose the Pioneer restaurant because it was convenience to grab a quick bite b4 heading into Zion...it was anything but quick. My wife voiced her complaints to the hotel and it fell on "deaf ears". we are so disappoint w/ this place. There are a alot of good restaurant in Springdale, this is not one of them.

The Skinny: edible, yes... good, not really (2) service: not too bad for a joint like this (3) value: if it wasn't for the coupon for 20% off the bill when we stayed at Pioneer Lodge plus it was late there are limited dining options when we arrived, I don't think we will be back (2) It was late. We were tired after hiking over 12 hours and exhausted. We just wanted to eat and crash. So we hit up the hotel restaurant for a quick bite before hitting the sack. As soon as we arrived, I followed my guidelines for ordering at a joint like this. Simple, easily prepped food (like sandwiches and forget the fancy steaks/ribs/prime rib) with minimal perishable items are ideal (ie, salads are a no-go). Avoid seafood like the plague. You'll at least get a decent meal this way. So what does the hubs do? He orders zucchini sticks and fish and chips. This is despite the look of "are you sure you want to do this?" from me. As usual when it comes to these things, I was right. The zucchini was greasy and the cornmeal coating was overly heavy and unappetizing. Suffice to say, the fish was also in the same type of batter and the same description applied. Fries were really nothing special and we left most of them on the plate. Me, I ordered a reuben which was decent - they used some supermarket pastrami (could have used more) with some okay sauerkraut and melted cheese. Nothing special but nothing horrifying either. I think mine tasted better than the fish and chips. Really, given that we only wanted to get our bellies filled so we wouldn't wake up in the middle of the night, it wasn't a bad option at the time. Without the discount though, this place is really pricey for what it is. McDonald's does a better job for like 1/2 the price. I would say this though, if you don't have a discount, don't come. 2 stars.

Hands down the worst customer service I ever had, especially since there were all of two tables in the restaurant and three people serving. We were never checked on, the forgot half out order, we had to ask for our check because never came to our table. The waitress was literally standing there doing nothing while we were waiting for our check. The food was mediocre at best. Never go here. Go to the Mexican restaurant across the street, they are phenomenal!

Pleasanty surprised by this place. Ended up staying at the adjoining hotel and guests get 50% off their entire menu... The result? Getting to indulge in a lot of things you wouldn't otherwise for dirt cheap. During our stay at Zion, we ended up eating 3 meals here and the bill was shockingly low. For breakfast, I had their Pioneer skillet (hash, bacon, sausage, with eggs) and the second time around, had their country fried steak. Both were cooked very nicely- I didn't leave a morsel behind. For lunch, I tried their special which was a rib eye steak sandwich- this was great as well and their fries were good enough to get as a side the next day for breakfast. Service is swift, quality is good... the only reason I couldn't give them 5 stars was that my beer had some netting like substance floating at the bottom of it (bleh, it was a horrible sight). In any case, I overlooked it and hope that I didn't eat anything else unappetizing during my 3 visits here! If you are staying at this hotel, you should capitalize on their 50% off deal.

Had breakfast here but probably won't again. Coffee and toast were good! But hash browns were old and the scrambled eggs and sausage links were not great either.

We were told that Pioneer had good breakfast food. I disagree. + nice service - eggs were rubbery and tasted odd - friend felt that the hash browns / potatoes had an odd taste - bacon had too much of the fatty part

We really enjoyed our omelets. We split biscuits and gravy which was nice as well. I'm Very suprised by some of the negative comments. The homefries or potato were the best part. We would definitely come back when we visit Zion again.

I could seriously lambaste this place. Really. I could. I mean, it's my job as a Yelper to warn people or to entice people into an establishment correct? So why do I feel bad? Probably because the service was nice. Probably because I had high hopes for this place that boasted a 4-star TripAdvisor sticker (by the way I think the sticker is for the adjoining hotel, NOT the restaurant). But, I'm going to put it out there anyway... First off we walked in and the place was empty. Warning bells already. I looked at the menu presented next to the hostess stand I wanted to immediately run away. But my husband lingered. I wasn't sure what to do as I checked out the Yelp reviews I began to get cold-sweats - OH NO! But here came the server to seat us. SIGH. I'm in it to win it now. Beginners, my husband and I both ordered the Top Sirloin, which came with a salad bar for an additional $2.99. BUT there was no salad bar, so the waitress said she would bring out our salads instead. OK. So, we sit there and then a guy server comes up and explains to us that Fridays and Saturdays they have a Prime Rib Special, which is the same prices as the top sirloin and much better. We opt for the Prime Rib, both of us order it Medium (as a prime rib should be anyway). Out come our salads. I'm not even going to talk about it. Just awful. Period. Out come our entrees. Do I really have to describe this plate? First off my baked potato came out wrapped in tinfoil, which I hate, because that means this tinfoil that was handled by someone in the kitchen is now on my plate touching the rest of my food. Secondly stuffed INSIDE my baked potato are two packets of butter. I cannot even begin to explain how GROSS that is. Butter packets are handled by servers with bare hands ALL THE TIME and you put it IN my potato? UGH. I took them out and scraped the first layer of potato out where the packets had been touching. Next, there was a variety of vegetables all chopped up haphazardly on the plate with a very, very odd mix of spices. Spices that did not go with the veggie medley. I get it, you're trying to zing up the vegetables, but honestly, just a nice side of broccoli would have been better. And the most disappointing, horrendous prime rib I have EVER been served in my entire life. The server said this prime rib was amazing. I don't think he has ever had a normal prime rib. It was the thinnest cut of prime rib I've ever seen, which is probably why the damn thing was WELL DONE. I kid you not. This prime rib was brown through and through. And what restaurant in their right mind puts out a brown/well done PRIME RIB? CRAZY TOWN HERE PEOPLE. At this point I just wanted to vamoose, so I ate what I could of my well-done prime rib. I asked for some sour cream for my overly-cooked, tainted baked potato. I had half a mind to ask for au jus because they didn't provide any - AGAIN, CRAZY TOWN, who serves prime rib without au jus? We paid our bill and hurried out, never to return again. The only good part of this entire thing is, we had paid using money my parents had sent us for our anniversary present. So at least this horrible meal wasn't on me. The food is bad. The prices are WAY too high for what you're getting. Go somewhere else in Springdale, ANYWHERE else for food.

Good basic eats. Prices are a little high though motel guests do get 50% off, making it a bargain. Service was friendly but inattentive when we visited. Mandatory 18% service change on pre-discount amount explains that.

  • Tangerine G.

It was one of the only restaurants open on Christmas. It was bustling and the servers were hustling to get everyone seated and fed. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions and the very friendly and efficient service. I had been to so many of the restaurants with good reviews in Springdale in the past and have been disappointed each time until now. Yes, staying at the Pioneer lodge gets you a very nice discount at the restaurant. Yes they add the tip on the bill, but I'm assuming that's because so many foreigners or cheap Americans don't understand that they should leave a tip pre-discount not post. I recommend their patty melt and turkey club. I don't recommend their tenderloin. If you're used to having nice cuts of meat from fancy steakhouses in big cities, you'll of course be disappointed.

  • Sun B.

The food was all frozen, not fresh at all. I had the Ruben and it had no flavor I ended up feeding it to my dog. My husband had chicken fingers and you could tell they were frozen . The server was very friendly that's why they get 2 stars

Avoid at all costs. We came here for breakfast after a hike and were treated to a horrific meal. Cold eggs made from a powder mix (at least, that's how it tasted), mushy and over salted hash browns, a dry and gummy excuse for a biscuit, and a thin chicken fried steak that tasted like a burnt out public toilet. The coffee was so watered down I thought perhaps of been served heated river water. We left feeling really gross and ripped off.

Informal local historical restaurant. Patty melt, french dip, fries, and beer were all great and were very reasonably priced. Breakfast portions were huge and tasty. Very nice hosts and wait staff for both visits.

  • Alex H.

Overpriced for food with zero love. My beef sandwitch was half fat, The onion rings had a thick layer of breading and were very greasy even for me, and I love greasy food. Overall a total rip off, Go to Oscars cafe if you want great food worth the price, same price as here. The owner is a total creep!

The rootin'est tootin'est cowboy around...woody! Random? Yes! I wanted to rough it this weekend when I went on a hiking trip to Zion. I was imagining in my head taking out a bow and arrow, huntin some wild game, and putting their carcass on a spicket then roasting it over a fire. I'd roast it while chewing on some wheat grass and sharpening my knife with another knife. I'd be wearin my cowboy hat and boots with some rugged facial hair. Then reality set it. I've never had any out door training and I'm about as city slicker as they get. No hunting, no ruggedness, just a normal ol' campin trip. The best I could do was get a "hardy" breakfast. I chose to go here. Indeed, it was manly enough for me. I ordered a skillet. It came with sausage, bacon, biscuit, and veggies. Sizzle sizzle. It was cooked well and tasted delicious. I felt I had the energy to lasso some cattle. Damn, I loved it there. The ENVIRONMENT really helped too. Decorated with wild west decor, some wagon wheels and pitch forks. SERVICE was super friendly and helpful. PRICE was very reasonable, about $8-$10. My belly was filled and I felt my man points rise. Oh YEAH. 8-)

Hands down a three star, that isnt bad but its just the "C" average. Its pricey and the food is average. The plus is its right down town and easy to get to from the park. If you are looking for a regular place to grab some lunch or an easy dinner this is your stop.

  • Cathy C.

Disclaimer: we're from Los Angeles/Orange County area, where there's plenty of selection and variety. Pleasantly surprised by how good the breakfasts were. If French toast is your thing, try the Chuck wagon breakfast. The steak in the steak and eggs was five star quality! Crazy! I have only dined here at breakfast time. The portions were hearty enough to fuel me for the longer, more strenuous hikes. Service is what you can expect from a small diner type, not great. But they are not rude either. Compared to other restaurants in the area, it is not the fanciest. However, the food is good, they price is average. Sadly, we didn't see the other food menus until the last day or else we would have eaten here throughout our stay rather than waste money on other restaurants in the area that pretend to have good food.

Review for the breakfast. We ate here 2 mornings. It is your average diner breakfast done well. Ambiance is great - sort of old diner meets log cabin. If you're staying at the Pioneer Lodge hotel, this is a great start to your day. Got some snark from one waiter who was apparently tired of tourists. Always rubs me the wrong way when you're in a location that has absolutely no other industry than tourism. A snobby Parisian...I get it. But a waiter in Springdale? Seemed like a one-off though.

  • Greg D.

Ordered the fish and chips after asking the one and only waiter in the place if he would recommend them, he said yes. They come burnt and uneatable so while my husband ate his dinner I picked at my fries waiting for the waiter to return which he never did except to throw the check on our table. When he came to collect the check, which he had added an 18% gratuity on, my husband let him know how bad my fish was. He said "over cooked? Yeah I've heard that before" WTH why would you recommend them??? Charged full amount of bill threw a handful of mints on the table and said "hopefully that makes up for it". Never had a restaurant charge for meal that was so bad.

Relatively mediocre eating experience in addition to a relatively high cost. My wife and I split a meal but added a side salad, which cost us an extra 4-5 bucks. Definitely skip it if you can.

Delicious breakfast of pancakes, eggs, veggie scramble with super-fresh veggies, friendly and fast service. Sweet folksy decor, my kids were thrilled with the food and so were their parents. We will all come back for dinner!

I've eaten here about nine years ago and stopped again this past week while visiting the park. It offers a beautiful view and the food is surprisingly good at reasonable prices. I say surprising only because you'd figure a restaurant in the park with a captive audience could serve mediocre food and get away with it. The Pioneer Lodge does a nice job and the staff was attentive and friendly.

  • Robert N.

Stopped by after visiting Zion National Park, a close drive Fish and Sweet potato fries - fish was a little more fried than I'd like, my friends loved the sweet potato fries Chicken Strips - plain chicken strips Western Cobb Salad, with Raspberry Vinaigrette - Enjoyed the salad, but not the vinaigrette Not many people around during lunch, very good customer service

  • Tracy D.

The best thing about the restaurant: the 50% off if you stay at the hotel. We stayed at Pioneer Lodge so we got 50% off at their restaurant. I ordered the trout which was good, but nothing to write home about. Our waiter said that the trout is the daily catch from the co-op in town. My husband ordered the top sirloin, which was a little tough and uninspiring. But hey, we're in Zion in December and restaurants are slim pickings.

  • James E.

My wife and I stopped by for Dinner afer a long day at Zion national park. The food was good as were the prices. They offer 50% the check if your a guest at the hotel next store. The customer service was amazing. The Gm Adolfo came to our table and asked how our meal was. He saw my lemonade was running low and brought me a refill right way. When he inquired about our visit and we told him it was our honeymoon he right away sent for a cheesecake for us to take back with us. All in alk he went above and beyond. I will definitely come by and eat here again and will recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family.

  • Tammera H.

As a guest of the hotel, you recieve a pretty significant discount at the restaurant. That said, the food and service is really good. We ate most of our breakfasts here during the 5 days we were in Zion. The breakfast skillets were our favorites. The only thing we were not thrilled about was the 18% service charge that was applied, inconsistently, to our bill. Some days it was there others it was not.

So good! And we r very picky eaters , the prices are awesome and the food delicious!! Great service!

    (5)
  • Gary A.

If you are staying at Pioneer Lodge of course have at least 1 or 2 meals here as you can't beat the 50% discount on food items for guests. If you are not a guest then I would still rate it a 3. The 2 of us had dinner here on Sunday March 23. As a previous reviewer noted it is correct that at least for hotel guests an 18% gratuity is added automatically & exclusive of discount which applies only to food items. Note beer & wine are not discounted but the prices are fair as I paid only $5.49 full price for a very good 22 oz local craft beer. Perused the menu in our room prior to walking over for dinner & noted entree prices are about $2 each higher than the menu in the room but expected that! Also room menu said salad was included in the pasta entrees but is no longer, so paid the $2.99 upgrade for salad bar. My dining companion had the chicken breast (salad included) & loved it. I opted for meat lasagna. Both were tasty but chicken breast more so & more substantial. The salad bar is average but offers good choice of dressings & toppings including bacon, cheese, croutons, cherry tomatos, pepperoncini, chopped egg, etc. The wait staff is outstanding & attentive!

New management, excellent service, friendly staff, great tasting food. We had two breakfasts and one lunch. Great service all three times. Aldolfo was great!

The beer was great, the French Dip tasty but the Prime Rib, Friday Fish Fry, Ribs....everything was fair. Eat elsewhere, if you can. And, everything was pricey. :-(

This place was great. The service was top of the line. The food was great. They make everything in house. We had the chicken fried steak and the gravy was excellent. We enjoyed it so much we are back for breakfast.

    - We walked in the door a little after 7am and a guy named Teddy greeted us at the door and while barely looking up from his opened cell phone, he seated us while texted on his phone. Rude. - Later, after we were seated I noticed a larger group of people

Got there late, but still enough time for dinner. Both of us ordered steaks, medium rare. They came out close to well done. We sent them back and to their credit, gave us a whole new meal and a decent discount. The second set of plates had better veggies, too. All in all, not bad and they did make amends for a somewhat rocky start. Waitress was quite pleasant and apologetic for the mixup.

Meh.....it was overpriced for just okay. My husband had a grilled chicken sandwich that he thought was good. I had the fish'n'chips that turned out to be deep fried frozen fillets. At leat they had malt vinegar. Certainly overpriced for frozen food.

I hope I don't exaggerate too much when I say that I may have found the best fries in Utah. Ever. Admittedly, it's not the most accessible restaurant in town, unless that town happens to be Springdale, Utah at the gate of Zion National Park. I arrived by en route from Sand Hollow Reservoir, where I was staying, by means of a road bike, so by the time I pulled up, the 40 miles I had traveled under pedal power had amply exercised my appetite up to a frenzy. My Reuben was served warm (as it should be) and was delicious. The marbled rye was toasted, and there was just enough sauerkraut and pastrami filled in between the slices of warm bread to fill my stomach, but not too much to leave me filling stuffed. The meat was well cured and sliced just a tad above thin. It was among the best Reubens I've found. As I examined what was to be my last bite, I found myself looking at it longingly, wishing for more, not because I needed it-the portion was just right-but because I had enjoyed it. Admittedly, not a great picture...and I'd already downed more than half the fries. But enough about the sandwich. Let's get back to those fries!! They were crisp. So hot I almost burned my tongue. Salted to perfection. Soft on the inside. They were delicious. Next time I am back in Springdale, I'm stopping for fries, I don't care what time of day it is.

Springdale and Zion are virtually empty during the Winter months, so when three friends and I showed up for breakfast on a Sunday morning, we found that there were only two people working: a hostess and a waitress. In spite of the paucity of help, the service was quite excellent. We were greeted and seated upon entering the restaurant and our drinks were brought to us three minutes thereafter. Our waitress came by to take our orders a few minutes later and even checked up on us multiple times after we got our food. The food was tasty also. I ordered the country fried steak skillet which is country potatoes, bell peppers, and onions topped with chicken fried steak, eggs, and country gravy. The country gravy was a little too rich but everything else was cooked perfectly especially the country fried steak. I consider myself a country fried steak connoisseur and this is some of the best I've ever had. To drink, I had a glass of hot cocoa. This wasn't the instant stuff though. It tasted like it was made with real chocolate and was topped with thick whipped cream and chocolate syrup. My only real complaint about this place is that the breakfast menu says there is a breakfast buffet. What it doesn't mention is that it is not served during the winter months. Oh well!

    (4)
  • Aaron B.

Like other reviewers, open in the winter. The food is cafe breakfast fare, and in it's category actually ranks well. I've only eaten breakfast here. The service is great! They have a breakfast buffet that seemed pretty popular, but I always order the chicken fried steak and eggs. The parking is probably the biggest downside to this restaurant. It's a little tight getting in and out and you share the lot with lodge guests.

  • Cyndi L.

Hands down the worst salad bar I have ever had, lol baaaad I am bleating this like a goat- ba-a-a-d. Flip side of the coin- the fish and chips were actually not too bad at all.

  • Tom C.

Decent breakfast. The waitress seemed engrossed in a conversation with another tables so it took a bit to get started (Sorry I was grumpy from being hungry). Buckwheat pancakes were ok, a bit dry. Eggs had too much butter, and bacon was burnt. Oh well. Staying at the Pioneer, they give you a 10% discount and was convenient, but I wouldn't go back.

    (2)
  • Kyle N.

My wife and I both ordered their Pioneer Burgers. They turned out great! The fries and onion rings were enjoyable as well. The service met our expectations. They were friendly but not overbearing. It has a very traditional American menu with the usual price tag that you'll find in Springdale ($10 - $12 a plate).

    (4)
  • Jamie A.

They are open during winter - PLUS! The servers are quick and happy - PLUS!! Sweet potato fries - PLUS!!! Minus two for not taking my coupon when we were staying at their LODGE. It was only for the cafe? Since when? It was 10% so I didn't wanna scream about it, but if I am ever in Springdale, Utah again - watch out!.

  • Ken Z.

We went here for breakfast a week ago. Note: It is one of the few restaurants open for breakfast in Springdale in the winter. As far as we could figure, your choices (not in the NP) for breakfast this time of year are this place, Oscar's Cafe, and Cafe Soleil (Mean Bean is open on the weekend, but we were there during the week). Back to the review. Hostess/waitress seated us fairly promptly and did a nice job taking care of us even though she was the only non-cook there while tending to 4-5 other tables. Another woman waited over five minutes to be seated since the waitress was busy. The breakfast buffet is not served in the winter. There is a short staircase halfway back which takes you up to an area that has a gas fireplace (which we didn't see until we went to restrooms at end of meal). Fireplace was on. I had the short stack of pancakes - can't recall if it was two or three, but they were big. [$5.69 - note: online menu is out-of-date.] I thought they tasted good, but warning to vegetarians - my companion tasted and said the pancake were clearly made on the same griddle as breakfast meat was made on. Two kinds of syrup - one maple and the other boisenberry. Also had a side of 2 scrambled eggs ($1.99 each for total of $3.98). Cooked right and tasted fine. My companion had two scrambled eggs and hash browns. She thought the hash browns were delicious. $6.99. We got off cheap. Most of the breakfast items were $9.99 to $12.99. Meat choices were bacon, ham or sausage. I think they go with a limited menu in the winter. In summary, food was good, but nothing memorable. A little pricey. Nothing bad, nothing great. A-OK.

This was a great choice for lunch, the burgers and fries were great. I am usually not into onion rings but they were amazing. We had a really nice server, but something definitely happened with our order. At least 5 tables were seated after us, and they all received their food, finished it, and left before we ever received ours. I understand that these things happen, but I was a little surprised that our server never acknowledged it. Still a good meal, not sure if I would go back or not the next time I am in Zion.

Big mistake eating here. One of the worst BLTs I've had in a really long time. Maybe some people like rubbery, chewy bacon on their BLTs, but I personally prefer it crispy. They were out of a lot of our "first choices" (breads, sides). Service was okay when we had it but we waited an inordinate amount of time for our food. Can't recommend.

The Pioneer Lodge Restaurant makes a pretty serious burger. My girlfriend and I were visiting Zion National park and decided to have lunch there after completing the 5 hour drive from Capitol Reef. We both ordered one of the micro brews (which were on par with most). After looking over the menu, I ordered a half pound burger, although they offered one that was a full pound! The food was brought out promptly without any errors and the service was friendly. The only thing that I thought was strange was that the waitress did not ask me how I wanted the meat cooked. Shortly after I ordered, I overheard someone at another table ask how the meat would be cooked, to which the waitress indicated that all burgers were cooked to medium unless otherwise specified. This wasn't a problem to me, just an observation. The burger here was excellent. However, you can order a pretty decent burger almost anywhere so I give this place 3 stars.

After along day of hiking this place really hits the spot. We drive up to Zion a couple times a year and this is our favorite place to eat at in town. Great burgers, friendly staff, good portions and average prices. Only downside parking can be a problem depending on the time of the year.

Excellent choice for breakfast. Their buffet is perfect for fueling up before attacking the highs and lows of Zion National Park.

EVERY SINGLE ORDER WAS BROUGHT OUT WRONG! The waitress felt bad but didn't do anything about it except offer to bring out a second round of food.....and stated that we could take it to go....where to? Hiking for the day with a bunch of carry out containers?!? The food was stale and the onion rings fried in old oil. The salad bar was gross and expensive. Never again, and I advise you to do the same!

    (1)
  • Lisa R.

Stay away from the salad bar and don't even think about ordering the french dip - scary! Stale food. Very overpriced. The only thing good was the shakes which were very refreshing as it was 102 degrees outside! Didn't see any fresh baked pies at all, which is what they advertise on their window. Two of the four orders were wrong. There are way better places to eat in town.

    (1)
  • Jeannie P.

The sign says freshly baked bread and pies, but I didn't see any evidence of them. What I saw were large parties who evidently couldn't find tables anywhere else ending up at Pioneer Lodge Restaurant, and settling for subpar food. The all-you-can-eat salad bar featured nothing fresh - only tired cafeteria fare like ambrosia, cottage cheese, three-bean salad, iceberg lettuce, and canned beets. The soup had long turned thick and sludgy, and the sole soup cup was dirty and cracked. My vegetarian lasagna was sauced with a very bland bechamel, while S's vegetarian pasta was a confusing, unappetizing jumble of vegetables and noodles. Salt wasn't enough to bring out any flavor in either. Garlic bread was a slice of white bread cut in half and flavored with too much garlic salt. I felt sorry for the server, who was genuinely apologetic about our experience - but he wasn't to blame for the very poor standard of fare. We were so dissatisfied that we had a second dinner at Zion Pizza and Noodle.

This place is average but it has its strengths. Great burgers and fries at a decent price for the area. If you go there for a special dinner or order something fancy you will probably be disappointed but if you're staying at the Pioneer you get another 10% off - on top of decent prices. Plenty of seating which was good since we had a large (10 person) party.

Great breakfast spot before starting a day in ZNP.
