It's Village Inn. I mean, what were you expecting? It's exactly what you think you're gonna get when you go to any of these chain breakfast/diner things. The food is better than Denny's but not as good as IHOP. The service is fine, sometimes the wait staff is good sometimes they're terrible but more often than not they're simply adequate. Let's be honest here: you go to VIllage Inn for the pie. All the better if that pie is free. My work always has our staff meetings here sin it's the closest VI to the office and always on Wednesday. Obviously, for the pie. In conclusion: free pie is always nice but if you're looking for an amazing meal or experience, really bro? Why the hell did you think you'd find that at Village Inn?

I had two hours to kill while I waited for my car to get fixed...it was within walking distance...it was fine. Obviously had we had another option, we would have gone there instead. But it was a good place to hang while we waited. Free Wi-Fi and they didn't care if we hung out. I got one of the breakfast skillets, the eggs were under the hot lamp too long and the sausage was burnt. My niece got the funny face pancakes off the kids menu and she loved them.

After being sat in a booth that had some kind of liquid on the seat (I'm hoping just water), we proceeded to open up our silverware. Mine had a spider web on the end of the fork! Not just a piece but a straight up web! We didn't use that fork but enjoyed the food none-the-less. It was my first time back in probably 15 years. Our waitress, Krystin or something, was absolutely awesome. She was not in a hurry to go to other tables and even spent a few minutes chatting with us about hot air balloons. We didn't feel rushed and had an enjoyable time there if you overlook the lack of cleanliness - which I just can't.

Good food, great portions. And interesting menu. The day we came it was slammed and it only took 10 minutes to get in and the whole staff really were hustling to get the food to guests but not so it made you feel like you had to eat and run. Marley was our server and she is 5 star all the way!!!!

I don't understand why anyone goes to Denny's or IHOP - you get greasy just by walking in the door. Village Inn is a much cleaner environment, and better food. Great for a late-night meal.

For me, this place is all about breakfast. Whatever time of day it is, I'm all about the omelettes, pancakes, and of course, bacon. It's typical diner food, at typical diner prices. You won't go broke here. Their coffee is okay, and I love that they leave a carafe on your table so it's not on the waitstaff to keep your cup full. But, if your party includes more than one coffee drinker, that carafe goes quick, and you're back to square one. All I've had on their breakfast menu I would order again, but there is nothing I'd recommend specifically. It's all relatively standard. Pretty much everything comes with the option of pancakes. And of course you should get them. They're pancakes. Hubby is really into their Club Sandwich. It comes well-stacked on your choice of bread, quartered, and cut in wedges, with a plateful of fries. It's one of his favorite sandwiches, ever. Plus, PIE! And it's good pie. Like, really good. Better than Marie Callendar's. And on Wednesdays, it's free with your meal. FREE, people. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner - or even just coffee - and ... FREE PIE! The service we've had here has always been acceptable, even great at times. I've pretty much decided that when I choose to be a friendly and open-minded customer, and treat the waitstaff with respect, the waitstaff takes pretty good care of me. It's rare that doesn't hold true, regardless of where we are. The only service-related issue I've had, and still continues to be buggy, is their choice of check-out method. I don't like standing in line to pay in the crowded all-in-one waiting area, where incoming and outgoing customers get to battle it out WWF-style for elbow room. Not cool if it's crowded. All considered, I like Village Inn. This location is a bit more "small town" than others, but sometimes that's exactly what my inner child needs. Is it an epicurean's dream, or at all special in any way? Not really, no. On a typical day, there will be a large party with several children having their own personal circus. But it's still a damn site better than the slop served at McDonald's, iHop, and most other mass-produced breakfasts you'll get. For what they do within their class of diner, Village Inn has earned 4 stars with me.

Good food and free pie Wednesday was a bonus but our waitress was rude and was annoyed at us because some of us wanted our pie to go and others wanted it to eat in. Also she wouldn't let one of us finishing ordering before moving on to the next person.

I know VI is not the best. And you know what you're getting I to but this one is worse than the rest. Everything is dirty, the food is the worst I've had. This location does not speak well for the village inn chain.

Urination on the floor of the bathroom but the food was pretty good. Where the delightful waitress who helped us throughout our whole meal. I went ahead with the omelette, no actually the other four different village in credible items breakfast.

Every. Single. Time. I come to this Village Inn, the service is absolutely terrible. Either the waiters/waitresses don't care and will never come to your table, or they will blatantly let you know how terrible you are for coming in. I am completely blind to terrible service most of the time, because I really don't care enough, I just wanna eat. But if I noticed it, somethings wrong. I'm not a picky eater, I really just have a problem with tomatoes. So when I say "I'll have the ____ with no tomatoes", I really don't appreciate the sigh of resentment and the eye roll and grumble of disgust. I know it's not that demanding of a request. The food is mediocre. The pie is even more so mediocre. I only go when I'm with my friends who get off work at the Provo Mall, and we meet there. Otherwise, I steer clear of it.

Typical meh quick food. Not terrible but cheap too thin bacon. I hate their pancakes. It is possible to eat low carb picking off the "4" menu. Servers have treated me well. Coffee sucks and is too weak. Prices are fair, considering the what you get. Would rate lower but for the lack of bfast options nearby.

I went with some of family, none if us even finished our food because it just was not good. On top of that the service was terrible, and the place wasn't even that busy. Of the 5 of us eating the waitress messed up 3 of the orders. I went there about a week ago and had a similar experience but thought if give them one more shot, but never again. Next time I get the late night munchies I'm going to Denny's .

Normally go there for the VIB. Good deal for a wide range of food. Sometimes service is lacking. Have been given food and a bill then never gotten a refill for drinks. Overall I really like their food and generally is pretty quiet for how open and busy it can be.

SHUT em down...get different staff. The whole daytime crew and mid evening crew are thee absolute worst! I had ordered some items, a variety of crepes, and some coffee. I ran to the POST OFFICE to send something as quickly as I could.....it was close to 5 pm, and i had like 15 minutes to get there, so I ran. I came back and there was a sloppy presentation of food on the table I was seated at. I was a little insecure about the amount of funds on my credit card, so before I ate anything I asked the waitress to CHARGE my card for me. She did it three times, telling me that I had ANinsufficient amount and that after LOOKING into my card account that she could see I only had 8 dollars on the card.MGMT. tells me they dont know how or why this waitress found out that information and it was wrong anyway...so I get onto the phone with my credit card company and they said that the charges were there, and AFTER she charged my card for the 14 dollars she charged for 8 dollars twice there after also. The food stayed cold the whole time while figuring out this discrepency. MGMT. was nasty, and the WHOLE POINT was that I didnt eat the food and was charged for it, never reimbursed and the nasty waitress was so dumb or conniving that she tried charging me a bunch...like twice as much as the food cost and the kitchen crews salary or whatever. That was on October 15th, and to this day I havent been reimbursed by my credit card company...its as if THEY are doing their best to LIE about disputed issues during this event.

Our family has been going here for years. It's nothing special. About on the level of a Denny's or IHop. But the service is almost always great. Lots of excellent pies. Reasonable prices. I especially like their sandwiches. Every Wednesday is Pie Rush Wednesday, where you get a free slice of fruit pie with any order. Only real downsides are that the salads are pretty skimpy, and you can't upgrade to a non-fruit pie on Wednesdays.

Our server Pamela got our order wrong. Brought out the food and told us she got the order wrong, but asked if it was okay anyway. When I said the substitution I asked for (That didn't end up on my plate) wasn't a big deal I noticed another part of my order was taken down wrong. After a bit longer of a wait I finally got to eat a mediocre breakfast. The ham was very dry and had a very gritty texture to it and the eggs were WAY too greasy. To summarize, bad service, bad/mediocre food, I won't be back.

I ordered the chicken fried steak benedict and it was phenomenal. Everything about the meal was great but the service. The food was very very good. The service did lack as our food came before our drinks, but the quality of the food would make me go back. Because it was a Wednesday it was free pie day, and the pies were very good, as well.

Great breakfast place. I frequently travel to Provo, and this is my favorite breakfast place. The food is fresh and fast, and the service is always friendly. The prices are also very reasonable.

When it comes to diner food, village inn takes the cake everytime. With a unique menu that makes denny's look like poo and ihop taste like a truckstop. With a smaller selection in the evenings, im not innundated with options. And to be honest, at 2am im not really in the mood to make lots of decisions. Their pie, as well, is a big draw in. Love me some french chocolate silk, but the new bavarian blackberry is just as divine. Only let down at village inn us their customer service. Basically, they suck. And im talking the evening shift. I have never been ignored, or had my order wrong so many times. Its ridicilous! I even had to shout at our waitress from across the room to get her attention, even though we were right next to the kitchen. Another evenings our waittress just decided it was time for her smoke break. We didnt see her for the rest of the evening. So to wrap up: food good, train ur freaking employees.
