I have a long history of dentists, dozens of cavities, wisdom teeth, and a root canal. I switched to Dr. Hanson after getting married (for insurance reasons). Although I have just had routine cleanings and some composite fillings done by him, he seems honest. He's friendly and works quickly. What impressed me the most was his staff. There is a dental hygenist there named Naoma (Neoma?). She is so thorough at cleaning your teeth. She is the reason why Dr. Hanson gets 5 stars. I wasn't a diligent flosser (i.e. I flossed less than I visited the dentist) until Naoma taught me the principles behind flossing. Nothing seemed to be able to motivate me to floss, even a horrible root canal didn't change my flossing habits. Fankly, I was just too lazy. She explained that you just need to floss once a day and that it can be at any time during the day. You floss because it breaks down the film that forms within a 24 hour period on your teeth. You can floss and eat right after. The important part is to do it every day. After learning that, I began flossing once every day, and I haven't had a single cavity since (It's been over 3 years since her pep talk). I always had at least 1 cavity every dentist appointment before I began to floss. Thanks Naoma for changing life for my teeth and saving me thousands of dollars in a lifetime. If you are a bad flosser like I was, then switch dentists to get Naoma's pep talk. You'll save a fortune.

My husband and I had heard a little about Rumbi, and would see it whenever we visited a Firehouse Subs, but last night we finally decided to give it a try. BEST DECISION. It was very good, affordable food. Proportion of rice or noodle to veggies to the protein made us really happy (not like at Panda Express, where they give you tons more rice than the protein). Service was pretty quick, but we also got in before the dinner rush. We're definitely going again.

I'm not a huge fan of fast food, but I do like chick-fil-a. I am also excited that they are going to (eventually) start using chicken without antibiotics. This location is new. I have usually gone during lunch hours and it gets crowded fast. There are a good amount of tables inside and I have usually been able to find something. The employees are super friendly and helpful. Also, the owner has always been very friendly and helpful as well. He checks in on the customers and asks if he can help with anything. Great customer service.
Tis the season to be jolly! There's a lot to look forward to in the Christmas season, and if you've had it before you'll know why I say Peppermint Milkshakes are the reason I love December. I don't even like peppermint, but they do the most PERFECT ratio of peppermint to ice cream. My five stars goes to that. Everything else is pretty good, too. But if I thought there was a possibility of them going out of business I would eat there everyday just to make sure they were still in business til next December.
What can I say? Chic-fil-a never disappoints. Always awesome service, and the food is always on point. Just praying for the day the peppermint shake is year round. I personally love the chicken strips or spicy sandwich. And if you have t tried their waffle fries, that is a must. Add some Chic-fil-a sauce, and you're in business.

What an amazing experience of cuisine! The empanadas were incredible... All three of them were so fabulous! The best sandwich was Ave Palta. The avocado was so fresh and light! The best dessert ever was the Manjar Empanada. The prices are so reasonable! The service was great, even though it's a little unconventional. You walk in and order from the wife and then they call your name and you grab your food! The entire experience was TOP NOTCH and I will be back again!!!!!
Small, self-service, and an absolutely awesome churrasco palta. The jugo de durazno? Incredible.
3.5 Stars. I saw the reviews, and figured I had to give this place a try. Upon walking in, a quaint little restaurant lay in front of me. 4 or 5 tables tops, this place maybe seats 20 at full capacity. I am not too familiar with chilean food, so I had no idea what to get except for what was recommended on yelp. After looking through a few reviews, I decided on the steak and cheese sandwich. At $9.99, I expected a little more. I understand that steak is expensive, but it wasn't anything that blew me away. There were a few flavors, but not enough to really separate itself from a lot of the other meals I have had anywhere else. However, My buddy ordered a cheese empanada and it was fantastic. Fried to perfection, the cheese was so flavor I couldn't even handle it. It melts in your mouth, and the whole thing tastes a little sweet. In fact, if I ever go back to this restaurant I will probably just order 2 or 3 empanadas and call it a day. The service here is interesting. You sit down - order your food, then they call you at the front when it is time to come pick it up. There isn't really any waiter service in between, so i'm not sure if you tip or what when your meal is over but I tipped a buck or two on my $10.00 meal. The Verdict - I think I need to try a few other meals, and a few other chilean restaurants before I can really give any solid recommendations about this place. It wasn't bad, and I was in and out of there very quickly given it was the noon rush hour. Come give this place a shot, and let me know what you think

This place was awesome! Their pizza has an awesome thick crust, and their toppings are super fresh. Absolutely need to get their cheese sticks with ranch. They are to die for! Plus, they have awesome lunch deals. Definitely a good step above papa johns and little Caesars. Definitely a place I will come to regularly.
Discovered this place randomly and it is the best pizza in Provo! It has thicker crust with delicious toppings and my husband and I have gone there several times. I'd also recommend the cheese bread!! SO good!
Totally decent traditional pizza joint in downtown Provo. I love a good, doughy crust and this definitely fit the bill. The cheese sticks were perfectly cooked and you can get them with a side of good old fashioned buttermilk ranch. There's no balsamic glaze or fennel sausage, but there are plenty of places that do that. Sometimes you just want a solid, standard American-ized pizza.

The burgers here are homemade and very delicious. I would definitely recommend everyone to come eat here if you are in Provo. Much better alternative to Sammy's or other burger joints in the area.
Like a lot of others, I got the Stoneman Burger and it was INCREDIBLE! The patty was obviously hand made, and the flavor was awesome. The sauce on the burger was perfect. It didn't over power the burger; it was the perfect complement. The cheese, bacon, and avocado were included in generous portions, only adding to the burger. I got the sweet potato fries, and my friends got the Cajun fries. Both were good, but I enjoyed the Cajun fries more. The only thing missing was more people. I'd hate to see this place go away after eating such a delicious burger. Also, the negative review below saying this place is dirty is absolute crap. We were the only people there, so that may have influenced their ability to keep it super clean, but everything was spotless when we were there. Loved this place!
Having grown tired of chain fare, we've recently embarked upon a quest to identify the best burgers and best pizza along the Wasatch Front, and notably in Utah valley. Joes came highly recommend to us and has good marks on a number of services (including Yelp), so for the night's festivities, we thought we'd give it a try. Not bad--not bad at all. The Good: (1) This is a memorable, high-quality burger and sides. As in, they tasted good, portions were good, the ingredients were fresh and real, and--most importantly--the burgers can't be mistaken for burgers from anywhere else. I find that to be absolutely remarkable, given the number of places across the U.S. I've eaten and the number of burgers I've had. (Most people are probably in the same boat--lots of burgers in their lives, including "quality" burgers at local joints.) Impressive. Unique. (2) The staff is very friendly. They chatted with us, made recommendations, were generally of good humor, and so on. (3) Prices were very, very fair for what's on offer. The Bad: (1) Not really their fault, but has the "Utah valley" feel in spades. As in, mostly empty, zero ambiance, zero "experience" apart from the food. There's just no presence. Put this food in Berkeley or Brooklyn, run by someone from that area and with design, decor, and crowd to match, and they'd be lining out the door to pay twice as much. The food is sort of wasted given the innocuous location and general "big empty" that is this location. (2) No beer. Also a Utah valley standard, but how can you possibly have a burger without a beer? We had to eat, then adjourn to a nearby Center St. pub for drinks. We'd happily have stayed and spent our money here--but no option to do so. (3) Cold. Wife was shivering the entire time. We mentioned it and the staff helpfully told us that it was cold everywhere inside the building. Hmmm. Okay. So--bring a coat? Or a space heater? The Details: We tried the Stoneman and the El Bandito and two kinds of fries and all were excellent. The burgers are like no others we've had--the patties seem to be unadulterated beef and are far larger than the bun--they overflow on all sides and are of irregular shape and thickness. They're actually crisped on the outside and by all rights ought to be vulnerable to criticism of being "dry," but somehow they just plain work within the larger context of the burger as a whole. The toppings are beyond generous, the vegetables fresh, and there's a general "smoky" flavor to everything, as though it's been wood-grilled. Buns are perfect--sizable and substantial, not prone to disintegrate or sop, but at the same time neither dry nor hard. The fries seem to be fresh cut and from very large potatoes, and the spice combinations used were great. Wife found the fry sauce to be inferior, but I didn't think any sauce was needed. All in all, great food--but definitely no "experience" and, given the vast amount of space, spartan furnishings, general emptiness, and cold environs, what ought to be a five-star burger joint is left with four stars because--if we think about it--we'd never come to hang out with friends for these reasons. Instead, it becomes a place to get in, have a quick but great lunch, and get out again--yet this kind of food isn't exactly lunchbreak fare; it's 5-7pm fare, yet we probably won't come back again during those hours because it doesn't live up to the evening experience expectations. The food deserves the beer, ambiance, and environs to make that possible.

Ripples is The King of Drive-Ins! We visit Provo every year during the summer. Ripples is a main stay for us. The burgers are perfectly cooked with cheese on top. The fries are superb. You also have to order some pink sauce to go with this combo. This trip we also ordered a fresh peach shake. It rocked. Chunks of fresh peaches mixed in. Either way you can't go wrong for excellent Drive-In fare.
I might make this lower. I NEVER CARRY CASH!!! you know because of all the people that want me to give them money. Suggestion: just get a square credit card reader. I AM MORE THAN WILLING TO PAY THE CREDIT CARD FEE!!! What i was going to order. burger, fries, corndog, shake, and any variety of those four... minimum $20 purchase and if its good i come back... thats how trying new places works. THE VERDICT: guilty... of being stuck in 1980.
What's can I say- a drive up burger joint with great fried food. It is what it is... Darn good fast food. Give them a shot- they have been doing this for over 50 years. Cheeseburgers and pink sauce!! Oh yes- try the fresh peach shake, you will find yourself coming back for more.

Baked

2304 N University Pkwy
Provo, 84604
Reviews:
I tried this place the other day and I had mixed feelings about it. The sandwiches were a little pricey and the ingredients seem to be of high quality but I think they have too much stuff on them; it kind of overpowers the rest of the sandwich so if they would keep it a little simpler it would serve them better. The desert are really really good, like don't bother with the sammich just eat a giant slice of the red velvet cake. And make sure you get a brownie for breakfast the next day. The place itself is a nice big, open space and that is really great at night because it gets a pretty busy and the size of shop helps keep it from feeling claustrophobic, however it feels a little cavernous when you're the only one in there. Overall, it's a good place to stop in for lunch with a few friends but it's just not the trendy, upscale place that it wants to be and watching it try so hard is a little bit sad.
I love the concept behind Baked. Baked is a locally-owned artisan café specializing in new style sandwiches, mouthwatering breads, freshly made salads, delicious soups, and exemplary pastries. All of their breads and pastries are made from scratch, daily, and without preservatives. I have been here three times now, and I have never left unhappy. Almost everything on the menu is delicious - and their pastires do not disappoint either. Even if you aren't too hungry, you can just grab a few loaves of fresh home made bread. Baked's bakery has a wide selection of "bagged to grab" breads including; French Bread, Cracked Wheat, 11 Grain, Marble Rye, Classic White or Wheat, and Sourdough. They are famous for their Sourdough bread that is made with 150-year-old starter which translates to some of the best sourdough bread available. The staff is awesome here, and will make sure you are satisfied with your meal. I once had the french dip and the au jus was a little salty, so I told them and it has never been the same way since. With plenty of lunch options, you can keep coming back to this place daily and never get tired of it. Make sure to grab a few fresh pieces of bread and some pastries.
Great places for sandwiches and desserts. I had a the reuben. It was huge and it's probably the best I've had within the area. While we were waiting for our orders, we sampled some of their desserts...they were good, and the are a generous bite size pieces. For actual dessert, I had one of their delicious brownies, again a generous portion . At first I thought it would be so rich that it would make me sick...but to my pleasant surprise it was just perfectly sweet and balanced. Added perk: during our meal, they gave my friend and I a free loaf of white bread :D This is probably one of those places that people would hesitate to go in to or are not sure what they offer (it's not a place to get "special brownies" people!). It's very roomy and they have a bakery section where you can purchase loaves of fresh baked bread.

There are very few healthy restaurants in Provo, and even fewer juice bars. This place is a hidden gem! Everything that I have tried there, I love! Today my husband and I got a "rock that road" milkshake and I got the "king cole" smoothie. Yum! Usually my husband dosnt like healthier desserts, but he could get enough of that milkshake! You can't even taste the avocado, and it gives it a great texture! I have only tried two juices there. They were both great! The only complaint I have is that the service from most places you go to. I guess it isn't bad if you prefer to be left alone when you look at the menu and walk in. Just don't expect them to greet you and help you choose one unless you specifically ask for clarity on a certain flavor.
Visiting from California where there's a plethora of juice bars, so I was so excited when I found this gem in Provo! The Gonzo bowl is perfect had a taste of be Beach Babe bowl too which was also delicious.
This isn't your typical juice or smoothie shop. The Decor sets the perfect mood for what they serve its quality, clean, and keeps you wanting to come back. Service was premium I asked to sample all of their Acai Bowls and the attendant brought me out small samples of each. Got the beach babe and she didn't disappoint, sweet and very addicting. Can't wait to come back.

This is EASILY the best Noodles in the state! The food is always incredibly fresh, and the management genuinely cares about wanting you to have a great time and a desire to return. I've never seen such a clean, professional, and quick restaurant of this variety. 10/10 recommended to come enjoy your dinner here.
Great service, great food, great prices.
I had never had the pleasure of eating at noodles and co before this occasion... I had the Thai coconut soup which was really tasty, and I felt like the option to add extra meat was a good value, they gave me a lot of extra shrimp for not a lot of extra money. The staff was super pleasant, Trevor, or Travis, idk this dude was really helpful. the female worker was also AMAZING, I think her name was Shekinah.. I remember because it's so unique
