Good food at a great price. Guacamole Swiss burger was excellent go the price of 4 dollars. Men's room was filthy and needs immediate attention.

When I first saw the overall rating here I was shocked. I lived down the street for a summer and the food was great back then. I was sure it was going to be an easy 4 star, and maybe even 5 since they have Iron Port. The first thing I noticed was the now hiring sign. They definitely need some help here. From what I could tell there was one guy cooking and one guy frantically trying to work everything else in the middle of a lunch rush. The place needed to be cleaned, bathrooms were dirty and tables were covered. I went to the menu and picked out a double swiss bacon burger combo. The price was around $7 after tax. They have a lot of different things to order, so anyone should be able to find something that sounds good. The best thing about this restaurant is Iron Port. It's a soda that very few places have (the only one in mind is Porter's Place in Lehi), and it is absolutely fantastic. It tastes something like a vanilla rootbeer, but better. In fact, it was the entire reason I stopped. I was thinking of going deeper into Provo for lunch when I remembered this place and Iron Port were near by. I happily drank my Iron Port and waited for my food for a very long time. I must have refilled my drink 2 or 3 times in the time I waited. It finally came out, I filled up some fry sauce, and I began to eat it. The burger was okay. Nothing special, a little dry. The fries were pretty average as well. A little cold, a little too much freezer fry taste...overall the food was just bland. Then I filled up my Iron Port and left. At least they have Iron Port.

My friend and I work in the building next door, and she asked if we could stop here today after work for a burger. I'd been here one time before, had an all right experience with the grilled cheese, and said okay. Rocky Mountain made a horrible second impression. First of all, when we walked in the door they didn't even notice--despite the loud and annoying door chime. I finally had to say "Hello?" really loud to get the lady's attention. She apologized and came around to take our order. My order was simple: a cheeseburger combo with only cheese on it. Sure enough, I got a burger with everything on it. I had to be home quickly, and we had a 30+ minute drive ahead of us, so I didn't ask them to correct their mistake. When I got home, I promptly yanked off the limp lettuce, unappealing looking tomato, and disgusting pickle. I can't stress enough how much I HATE pickles. Even after pulling everything off and reheating my burger, I have the taste of pickles in my mouth. What a disappointing experience. Here's a tip to the employees: if you don't understand what your customer is asking you for, it's OKAY to ask for clarification. Better yet, please read their order back to them. There is no excuse for messing up something so simple. We'll look elsewhere from now on for somewhere to get a bite after work. It's a shame, considering this little dive is located right next to employee parking and is so convenient.

This place used to be great! I went there tonight and ordered a corn dog and a cookie dough shake. What I got was a cold, raw corn dog with partially wet dough (only half cooked) and a cup of soft serve vanilla with one raw cookie in it. Literally. I'm never going there again.

Terrible. Yuck. Avoid this place. I went thinking that I would get some good retro drive in food. The food was expensive, greasy and not homemade. I got the 3 piece cod fish & chips with onion rings instead of English chips and an order of scones with honey butter. No drink, just water. The meal was $16.02. The scones were the best part of the meal. The ice for drinks is behind the counter and you have to get an employee to fill your cup with ice. The place is so out-dated. The food is just plain greasy and yucky. I tried eating the cod by taking the beading off but it was just not good. As I sat and tried to eat, I listened as customers came through the drive-thru. The employee taking orders struggles with English. He had orders so messed up. He even had four large chocolate shakes for a customer that only ordered one. I will never go back here. There are other places in town that I can way better drive in food. Avoid this place. Not worth it by any means.

We really loved this place! It's exactly what you'd expect from a drive-in. Greesy yummy food. The atmosphere is so cute and old. Their scones are amazing! And the burgers are really cheap!

I remember this place use to be good. Had the worst shake of my life here tonight. How can you go wrong with a Butterfinger shake? Rocky Mountain found a way. Could tolerate three bites then tossed it. Never going here again.

All I had were the scones and they are wonderful. Dunno about the rest of the shop but scones are great.

This place used to be our go-to place for family shakes, but yesterday I was served a brownie shake with chunks so hard I had to take it out of my mouth and make sure a small pebble hadn't fallen in. That night I got sick to my stomach, and I suspect it was the shake. Won't go back. There's plenty of places I can get a mediocre shake closer to home, that at least keep their ingredients fresher.

Dollar burgers on Tuesdays and Thursdays is a very underrated Provo secret. Infinitely better than any other fast food dollar burger. Two shakes for 4 bucks on Mondays and Wednesdays. Love the deals here!

I loved it. I ordered a Mountain Burger, its huge. There were not a lot of fries to come with this burger, and after having the upgraded combo meal i guess it was like over 8 dollars, but it hit the spot. Upsetting though is trying to identify this place on YELP. It slipped my mind the exact name for this place and after putting in Burger spots and Burger JOINTS popping into place as a pre-entry and "easy to identify" type of mumbo jumbo it was dissappointing ONLY as a customer for YELP not to have this place SIFTED or CATEGORIZED correctly. But it was awesome, big and delicious, and i would TOTALLY recommend it to others here in PROVO, UT.

Good burgers, adequate fries, both SUPER greasy. If you order ice cream be prepared for it to be a HUGE amount.

We stopped by the Rocky Mountain Drive-In Restaurant on Saturday for dinner. I'd eaten here once before but didn't remember if it was any good. Sadly it wasn't very good. Service was slow; the place wasn't very clean inside; and finally, the food was mediocre. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, french fries, and an Oreo shake. My burger was very average, nothing special about it. The meat was pretty tasteless and the bacon was stiff in parts and chewy in others. Not that great. The fries were fine but it's hard to screw-up fries, you know? The shake was good. Next time I'm in the mood for a good burger I'm going somewhere else.

My family went here for shakes on family night. The shakes were thick and large and the customer service was AMAZING. I didn't notice they accidently charge me too much, but the man at the counter noticed and was honest enough to refund me the difference. He also gave my three-year-old son some fruit snacks while we waited for our shakes to be made. What a great family place.

In the mid 1970s, this used to be my go-to place for fish n chips and scones, and a yummy fresh lime. But now, the scones seem to come out all flat and disappointing. Sigh. Time wounds scones it seems. The fresh lime is still nice and I think the shakes are still good, but one day I'll try the fish n chips again and let you know. Kinda slow service at the drive through. 1 star for creepy service. I brought 12 ravenous people here after a family gathering, and we arrived some 3 minutes before closing (we didn't know what time they closed). They refused to serve us and were really rude to boot. I suppose they have every right to not serve a large party like us, but man, we were so hungry and wanted Rocky Mountain Drive-In nostalgia. Welcome to Rocky Mountain kick-in-ur-face.

Not the worst place to eat, but is far from the best. The scones do come out flat and 'dead' to say. The place is not kept clean, and needs a lot of love. But the burger wasn't bad.
