This is a very good place for sandwiches! I was amazed at how fresh the Avocado BLT was! I wish these were in Florida

I don't usually leave 5 star reviews, but Kneaders is about as good as it gets for its category. For the price and the quality of food, Kneaders gets a solid 5 stars. I probably come here 1-2 times a week and for good reason. I haven't had something here that I don't like. The two best options for first timers - french dip sandwich, or the chicken salad sandwich. I usually get it in a combo with the fully loaded potato soup (if available) and a drink (diet coke with fresh cut limes). The french dip a kneaders is one of the best around. Served on a fresh cut and fresh baked baguette and loaded with meat and cheese, i'm always full after finishing one. The au jus is incredibly flavorful and I almost want to drink it after my sandwich is good. The chicken salad sandwich on a croissant is also phenomenal. Great taste, tons of chicken, and just the right amount of everything else. The smoothies here also are worth mentioning. Tastes just as good as jamba juice. Also, the wide assortment of fresh pastries you can get at Kneaders is epic. Fruit tarts and eclairs are my go to. Make sure you get there a little early if you want there to be any left! Anyway, go to kneaders if you haven't already. Lots of locations popping up all over Utah and i'm glad they are here to stay.

This location can get pretty busy, but even when they are busy the food comes out quick and is always great. I have been here many times and I have never had anything I didn't like. My favorite sandwiches are their TBA, chicken pesto, chicken salad, and turkey cranberry. They have really yummy soups as well, I love their Asiago bisque, it's very unique and I honestly haven't found it anywhere else or even been able to find a recipe for it. They have a different soup each day. They are known for their amazing french toast which really is amazing. It tastes almost like a cinnamon roll. I also love their sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches, so amazing. And not to mention all their amazing baked goods. Can't go wrong here. Always fast and friendly service.

Went in this morning to get an omelette and some French toast. Both were a disappointment. The omelette was undercooked and had raw egg whites leaking out of it. It looked like some gross slime. The French toast was stale. It felt like the bread was a week old. I could barely chew through it. From here on out I'm sticking with Magleby's Fresh for breakfast.

Horrible. I only get to Utah for about a week a yr, and I brought a friend with me this yr, whom I had bragged about how great Kneaders is. Well it was horrible. I had never been to this location before, and it is smaller than their normal stores. But that isn't an issue. The bread sample had an empty jar of jam and I asked if they were going to replace it, and the woman said no, they only open one jar a day. I suggested that they throw out the empty jar, since its just a tease. At that point I just making light of it being empty, but she looked at me like I was nuts. So we ordered and this RUDE woman at the counter, told us they were out of what we wanted, then a guy from the back came out and said they DID have the french dip, My friend had already ordered a Salad, and the woman at the counter was too put out to change the order, so my friend got the french dip and the salad, figuring she would save the salad and have it later on. The french dip was about half the size it normally is. I have had it at other Kneeders and it was about half what I had gotten before. When looking under the bread there was two VERY think slices of meat that didn't look like Roast Beef. Meanwhile they didn't have the chicken pesto that I wanted so I got the chicken salad on a croissant. It barely had any chicken salad in it, and what was in it was mostly water chestnuts. It had about 3 crumbs of chicken . I have also had this at their locations and it was so inferior to what I was used to. I asked for potato chips. I love those home made cheesy chips, but I was told that they only come with other sandwiches, that we didn't order, and I asked if I could buy some and was told no. I was horrified by how horrible it was, and my friend couldn't believe it could be a place that I had bragged about. So a few days later we opted to have lunch at a different location of Kneeders. She got the french dip again, mainly because she wanted to compare. It was twice the size and it was was amazing. It had about a half inch of meat on it. The man who waited on us was friendly and helpful and nice. Oh, yeah, and as we stepped up to place our order he was replacing an empty jar of jam with a new one. It was yummy. We both bought 2 jars to bring home!

love love love kneaders!!!! Always have the yummiest desserts and I love the pesto sandwich! My work orders from here all the time and I'm never disappointed! One of my favorite desserts is the raspberry bread pudding! Highly recommend people to try this place any time they are in Utah!

I've been to Kneaders a zillion times but never had the breakfast. This was a terrible mistake. The French Toast is AMAZING; It's served with fruit and, no exaggeration, the best whipped cream I've ever had. A must try. As for the rest of the day, I could take it or leave it. There is always a huge line, the service is extremely hit or miss and I don't think the food is worth the frustration when it's a miss or the wait at anytime. If you're craving good French Toast and nothing else will do, hit kneaders up but if al you want is a sandwich or a brownie, there are a dozen less wearisome options.

Crappy crappy service. I went in for breakfast and get some muffin tops for the office. They sold out of tops as I was standing there waiting to be waited on. All the staff seemed unhappy and stressed - reflection on bad management. My breakfast sandwich was good - I just wont return due to crappy customer service.

I think it is this location that has a problem. I have liked all the other Kneaders I have been to! They take abnormally long in the drive-thru line. I know they are making things as they are ordered but if I go through the drive-thru and there are like two cars ahead of me, I better have 30 minutes to spare. No joke. One time going through the drive-thru, they charged everyone's orders behind me my on my card...which was over $50. I could also go on and on about how freaking RUDE the employees are. Eye rolls and all. Hire some nice employees Kneaders!!

  • Stuart F.

Apparently you aren't allowed to drive through if you have a pick up order. I by mistake did this and paid for it by the window guy being a total jerk. I wasn't a fan of this utah favorite to begin with and this just kinda killed it for me.

    (1)
  • Holly W.

This location is the worst!! Every Time I've gone here something always goes wrong, from giving me what I didn't order to overcharging me for what I did order. The employees at this location are the rudest out of all the locations I've eaten at and I've eaten at all the Utah Counties and the Heber and Park City locations. Actually I haven't found a place that has worse customer service then this place for food service. I can deal with a mistake with my order but when your employees treat your customers like dog feces its time to find a different place to eat. I recommend trying the Riverwoods location they're awesome!!

Very poorly run. The small size doesn't help, but everything is so difficult. From ordering to check out, and usually poor service. The highlight is the extremely long wait. Generally good food, but if you compare their efficiency and management to any other non tip restaurant(zupas, cafe rio) it is definitely the most poorly run unfortunately. Go to a different location or different restaurant.

I was pretty disappointed in our orders.. We ordered the BLT.. With avocado.. The sandwich was dry, there was no avocado after they charged us extra for it., there was like 1 piece of bacon on the sandwich.. We also ordered the cauliflower and cheese soup.. There was HUGE chunks of cauliflower... My fiancé ordered the French dip and he said there was like no meat in the sandwich.. He also didn't care for his food..

The food here is great, but this location is always so, so crowded in the mornings when they have their unlimited french toast.

  • Jen J.

I like this little sandwich shop, especially the pastries. I am not a fan of their in house potato chips, they are always stale, and the pickles are too salty (though I appreciate that they are dill, not sweet). I especially like their rueben on rye and tuna on hazelnut 12 grain though I could go for a lot less sauce in the tuna. Their other pastries are good, but in a basic, lots of cream and butter, sugar and love sort of way. No nuance, mostly comforting baked goods. And who can say no to their all you can eat french toast with cream and a strawberry? Literally, one strawberry. I have had a few occasions of bad service, mostly forgetfulness or little things that were fixed quickly. The worst being that they took almost 30 minutes after I had arrived at the store to make a sandwich I had preordered over the phone. I've also had a cinnamon roll they heated up, obviously in the microwave, exa use it turned crispy and hard and I edible after a few minutes. And the drive through takes forever.

Again, I really dislike writing reviews for chain establishments, so this will be a mixture of Kneaders in general and this location, as this is the one I've been to most. First off, I love the french toast on weekend mornings. Mmmmm...so yummy. Sinful, I'm sure. The syrup they give you isn't maple, but some caramel like sauce that's rich and thick. Top it off with some whipped butter and strawberries (no free refills there :( ) and it's a very sweet way to fill your belly. And super cheap. The also have a wide variety of divine baked goods. Lots of breads and treats. Really, everything I've tried from Kneaders has been delicious. I'm not really sure what they put into their foods, but it's always been soft when it should, and sweet, sometimes more than it should. Some locations, if not all, also offer discounted goodies late on Saturday nights, to make some last minute profits I guess, before they throw the week's good out. The ambiance of all the Kneaders I've been in are about the same, very upper middle class cozy. Lots of "cute" decorations for sale, lots of blocks spelling things like "Love" and "Home." You get the idea. Definitely a place that's a little too sweet and sticky, not unlike their baked goods. There isn't a lot of "service" that goes into eating here, so get your own table, drink, and pick up your own food. Can't say much here. Overall, it's a generally convenient place to meet friends (so I found) and they have pretty good hours, unlike some bakeries. Two words to describe this place? Sugar 'n' Spice. No, "'n'" doesn't count!

  • Chandler B.

All I have to say is.... FRENCH TOAST! ok thats not all. I LOVE their turkey/bacon/avocado salad! I order it with spinach instead of mixed greens and the balsamic dressing. Also, the bread is something to write home about. Every time my mom visits from Texas we come here at least once a day.

    (5)
  • Siara C.

Oh, Utah. You and your businesses that are hard to differentiate from scrapbook stores. I wish they would move all their crappy home "decor" out and make more seating. Or room for more treats. But if you need a wooden, shabby chic sign that says "always kiss me goodnight" to go with lunch then you're in luck. (Why do you have to force your significant other into kissing you goodnight, anyway? I hate that so much.) Looking past all that, Kneaders is pretty okay. This particular location is a shot in the dark as far as service and consistency. My work used to order lunch here all the time and it was hilarious to see how many different ways they would make the same thing. The much touted French toast is hardly deserving of the hype, but in typical Utah fashion the endless quantity is more important than the actual food itself. It's too sweet, and it's sloppily done. Sandwiches and salads are pretty good if they can make it how you order it. I like their bread. I like their cookies and sweets. This location lacks the cleanliness and organization of other locations. The drive thru is a nightmare. Parking and going in is faster.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Kneaders. I mean, drive-through paninis, bread bowls, mexican hot chocolate, desserts, etc.? And the bottomless French toast is really great, too. I try to stop by whenever I'm in town. Oh, and the bread. Don't even get me started on the bread. SOOOOO GOOOD.

  • Ginger P.

Why can't this location ever get it right?!? I love their Turkey Feta salad (without onions), and without fail, they always mess it up! This time they gave me the wrong dressing...bleu cheese (yuck)! This is the last time I will come to this location!

  • Daryl B.

Great french toast. It's very sugary but still good. Don't go if you are on a diet. The other items on the menu are all very tasty but the prices seem a bit steep for what you get. Also the place is usually slammed for breakfast so plan accordingly. The free refills on the french toast seems like a good idea at first, but after eating just one plate full I'm usually all sugared out.

Would you like a fly with your meal? How about a fly grilled into your sandwich? I have eaten at many different Kneaders locations. I have always enjoyed the food. Today (07/11/2014) I visited Kneaders in Provo for the first time. I was shocked. The restaurant was packed. Open tables were dirty. Flies were everywhere. My simple order was overcharged and had to be refunded. But that wasn't the worst part... A big, nasty, fly was found grilled into the side of my double melt grilled cheese sandwich. No lie. I didn't notice it until I had finished my first half. It grossed us all out so much that my entire party stopped eating and threw all the food out. Even more shocking . . . when I took the fly sandwich back to the manager, he showed it to the kitchen staff who chuckled. Cleanliness and quality are clearly not on their agenda. Needless to say, the manager was very apologetic. Yes, they did give me a refund and offered to replace the sandwich. No thanks. Not hungry anymore! I will NEVER eat at Kneaders again. The whole situation blew my mind. NEVER AGAIN. Disgusting.

Amazing! Wish we had one in California. Stopped here while on a road trip. Had the sausage kale soup, absolutely delicious. The tuna sandwich was also perfect. The place was extremely busy but service was still fairly quick, and very friendly.

The first thing that you need to know about kneaders is their bottomless French toast breakfast. It's around 7 dollars if I remember correctly but it is quite delicious and it's served in a semi casual environment so they'll bring you your food and bus your table but it's not full service. The Provo location is extra busy though and often the service is minimal. For lunch or dinner they have great bread bowl soups and their sandwiches are pretty good as well. They do a great job filling the niche of cafe/bistro and are comparable to panera bread if your from out west.

My favourite is the Turkey bacon avocado sandwich. Lots of avocado, and lots of turkey! I usually substitute the focaccia bread with their amazing croissant instead. So buttery and good. I love their apple cinnamon bread pudding! Microwave it for 30 secs, pour the sauce over and you get warm, delicious goodness. Their turtle cheesecake is pretty good as well. Eclairs are decent with a generous amount of cream inside, but pastry is a little dry. Service is usually quite slow. I would come here more often if it didn't take so long.

  • Ryan T.

I'm convinced kneaders is all about what you like and what you order. Since people live the salads but I ding the average and bland. The sandwiches are good. But very bread-heavy and pretty average. As a bakery it's really great. And the French toast breakfast is really amazing. Overall though, it's average, and overpriced for it.

  • Jennifer B.

Kneaders made me gain 30 lbs. No joke. First it was doing their French Toast breakfast every morning, because it really is THAT GOOD. Then I would go get a dessert or two to reward myself every once in a while. All of a sudden I was eating there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And gaining a lot of weight. Beware: you want self-control if you go to Kneaders. My favorite items: French toast (duh), cream-cheese brownies, raspberry bread pudding, and the turkey sandwich on 12-grain bread. Oh baby.

First and last time at Kneaders in Provo! Drive thru menu is non existent, there isn't one ! How are you supposed to know what to order???? I waited in the drive thru after placing my order for 10 minutes extremely to long! I got the window to pay my total was $6.03 paid with a $100 they refused to take it ! There was not enough change! This place has been opened for 3 hours and they were packed in sure they had enough change! Needless to say I took my money told them to forget about it and left! Very frustrating no menu board outside waiting 10 minutes then not getting your food because of someone's lack of service!!!!

  • Jason S.

The food is great, but the location can be crowded. They were smart when making their north Provo location much bigger. All in all, it is usually faster to go to the north Provo location than wait online at the Bulldog location.

Ohemgee! This place is AMAZING!! We had the ALL YOU CAN EAT french toast with warm butter syrup! I went up 3 times for more deliciousness! Don't miss this one if your in the mood for a belly filling yummy breakfast!

Lame. Confusing and chaotic layout, no printed menus but for an old one with different prices on standby for the guy taking orders (and the menu above the counter has no details), the arses of those in line are right in the faces of those seated behind them. Guy on headset was unhappy and didn't mind showing it as he told everyone trying to order where to line up because, like I said, it was chaotic and not obvious where traffic flowed even though the place was only half-occupied. There's no space to stand and figure out what you want to eat before you order, so pick something quick and get the hell outta the way. Luckily we checked our to go orders before leaving, because our chicken salads had no chicken on them. My guy's salad, though the same as mine, was less than 2/3 the size. Both were 90% lettuce, with few of the goods that were on the (hidden) menu. No dressings listed anywhere for if you wanted something other than what your salad automatically came with. Patio with no shade and people sitting in their cars in the drive-thru wrapped around it.

Amazing food, but I was in the drive through for 25 minutes. Just plan ahead for the drive through during the rush.

I think Kneaders is way over rated. The French toast is very good but beyond that I'm always disappointed. But it is always so busy and crowded. I don't get it, sometimes I think people just follow the crowd.

I cannot get enough of this place. I love their breakfast! Yum. They have the best bakery in town.

    (5)
  • Rhett H.

The Provo store is very small and seating cramped and limited. It took a while to move the order line of people during lunch. Had the chicken pesto panini, which was a large serving -- could have split it with someone else. It was very good and I'd order it again. The chips would be better if they didn't taste like they were stale. I've also been there for breakfast. I haven't a bad item for breakfast. I've eaten at other Kneaders, which also have very good items on the menu, just wish the Provo store was a bit bigger.

How I love Kneaders! Whenever I visit Utah- I have to get Kneaders breakfast at least once! Mother of four boys- all you can eat French toast is a win-win! Love their pastries, and soup, and sandwiches and cute little gifts!

    (4)
  • Tina F.

Man some of the best soup, sandwhiches and especially desserts around. They are always pretty crowded when I go in there cause they don't have enough room for how many people eat there. But the service is always good and even better food.

    (4)
  • Matt Z.

I like Kneaders in general, but this location is awful. It is almost always overcrowded. The one rare time that I found myself to be the only customer in the store it still took 10 minutes for them to make a grilled cheese for my son. I complained about it on Twitter, they said they'd make it right, but never replied when I sent them my email address. Another time my wife got stuck in the drive through for 20 minutes. The food's okay once you get it, but I avoid this location now. Far better to head a bit north and visit their Riverwoods location. Much cleaner and more seating available.

  • Ray M.

In the past I have rated Kneaders 5 stars. Unfortunately they have lost me and they don't seem to care. The past few times I have stopped by, the service has be horrible. They always seem to mess up my order. Now, I am not not talking about, oops they put mayo when I asked for none, I am talking about they gave me a totally different sandwich, I drove home, realized the mistake, and had to come back. This is torture for someone lazy like me. When I complained, I never even got an apology, all I got was a look like, I don't care but I'll ask the manager anyway and a, " I guess we can offer you a free cookie". SERIOUSLY!!! I don't a free cookie, I want all of your cookies. Maybe if they can improve service I may return, but for now I think I will avoid kneaders in the future.

  • Brad V.

Saturday breakfast, you got to do it. For only five dollars, you can eat French toast until your sides hurt. Try it. But don't wait too long, because the line can be out the door the closer it gets to 10:30 am. Make sure and take one of your kids with you because it makes for a fun date with dad. Hint: if you take your teenage daughter, she will just share some of yours. If you take your son, expect to pay for two and expect to wait for seconds and thirds. As my son liked to remind me, "Dad, it is all you can eat!"

Whenever I'm craving a fresher, healthier, option I come to Kneader's for a veggie sandwich and the avocado salad. Prices are comparable to other sandwich shops but the quality is great.

Always good! I always get the turkey bacon avacado on focaccia and it's always good. I always ask for them to grill it and they are way cool about it. Thanks kneaders!!!

Really enjoy their avocado bacon turkey sandwich. It's a bit pricey, but is very good. Don't miss the microphone for the drive thru.

Not all it's cracked-up to be. When we moved to UT, everyone told us we had to go to Kneaders. When we finally made it, I was pretty disappointed. The paninis were pricey and greasy. The caramel apple was bland and not ripe. Would only go back to try the french toast everyone talks about. Otherwise, not worth it.

  • Er P.

My biggest issue with Kneaders is the service. More than once I have gone in the simply get a dessert from the case, but it still takes between 5-8 minutes to get it! How hard can it be to open the case and just give it to me? Yes, other people are getting sandwiches and stuff, but have someone man the dessert case to get the flow going. They also seem to take forever to bring out a soup and sandwich regardless of how many people are there. Their baked goods are tasty, and I have had a good soup and sandwich there before, but I don't go anymore because of the mind-numbing wait.

  • Mol E.

Amazing food. HORRENDOUS service. Incorrect orders, attitude, indifference... I have been coming here for years and I feel the customer service problems must be coming down from ownership/management because every person who works there seems miserable. When they forgot an entire meal at the drive through and I had to go back in to get it, they didn't even make eye contact, let alone say "I'm sorry about that." All he said was "here." And walked away. Not pleasant.

Great desserts, Good breakfast, Good bread, Mediocre lunch. Kneader's is a staple at my workplace, so I will fully admit that perhaps I'm a little bit tired of the place. -the good- * Dessert - any dessert I've had has been everything I would expect from a bakery style food establishment. Great tarts, eclairs, brownies, and very good key-lime pie. * Breakfast - The french toast itself is good (nothing extraordinary). The syrup, berries and cream that they serve with it are fantastic. I frequently get their croissant sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches. * Drive-Thru - I don't eat much "fast-food" but I love the concept of being able to muddle about the house on a Saturday morning in my underwear and hop in the car when I'm hungry for a quick bit to eat. -the bad- * The sandwiches - meat is dry and bland (especially the chicken). They have good-quality ingredients that are frequently combined in uninspired and unappealing ways. I frequently feel sick to my stomach after eating these sandwiches. My go-to menu item: Key Lime Tart / Mint Brownie (no it doesn't taste like the BYU mint brownies thank goodness)

Kneaders has been around as a local place for a long time, and it's still just as good as it was when it opened. The sandwiches are fresh, the bread is delicious, and the baked goods are awesome. Kneaders is a great place for a casual lunch, and they make great bakery items that can be taken home. They even catered my brother's wedding and they were still just as consistently good.

  • Tyler R.

Went through the drive-thru today. Ordered the club with a drink, which came out to over $9.00. I'm okay with paying more for a sandwich, but it better be good. I get more meat on a subway 6 inch.

Mmmm mmmm. This is the best breakfast in town. It's somewhat pricey though but still reasonable. Their pastries and desserts look delicious. Their French Toast is their specialty and definitely worth it. My one issue is they crack down hard on sharing food. My wife and I go there, I will order a breakfast sandwich and she gets the french toast. They're the same cost. I finish my sandwich and she finishes hers but I'm still hungry. I go to get a free refill on her french toast for me and they always throw a fit. In fact, one time an employee came to our table and told me I wasn't allowed to share. I think that's over the top. Good food though.

I wouldn't normally give 5 stars to a fast-food joint, but this is no ordinary fast-food joint. Why is it that pretty much 99% of the time, fast = bad for you? Kneaders deserves a huge amount of credit for combining the idea of a fresh, healthy cafe and a high-volume, drive-thru type location. They're slinging great quality, healthy food and doing it both fast & cheap. Bravo for sticking to your guns!

Love the bakery (especially the raspberry croissants & breads)--love the sandwiches (all are wonderful)--hate the crowds & squished seating. Worth standing in line though & we have never been disappointed with anything purchased there. French Toast breakfast is the deal but you can really get through much more than one order. Don't ever go through the Drive thru (nightmare at any time & you can get locked into it for hours if you get behind the wrong folks ordering huge orders). Service is painfully slow & inefficient. So glad I don't live near one of these places or I'd be really fat! Irresistible!

  • Jason T.

Came for the unlimited french toast on the Saturday before finals. The place was packed, but our order was ready before we even filled our water cups. Food was good, only one cup of whipped cream & strawberries though. Definitely give yourself time to go back for seconds or thirds, and don't bring a date with a small stomach (I wanted to go back for more).

  • Mimi T.

3.5 Stars My friends brought me in here one morning for breakfast. They raved about the all-you-can-eat french toast, so I was really looking forward to coming! They give you 2 french toasts, served on a disposable black plate, with a cup of whipped cream and strawberries. I think they have one of the best whipped creams I've ever had. The french toast wasn't a disappointment, but it wasn't what I had expected. It was good in that it was sweet so I didn't have to add syrup, but it was more on the cold side- it definitely was not made to order. I think I would have liked it more if my french toast was fresh and warm, and unlimited whipped cream + strawberries were part of the all-you-can-eat too. But sadly, only one cup of whipped cream+strawberries.

Breakfast at Kneaders really hits the spot, especially for a starving college student or anyone interested in some excellent french toast. It's always fresh and delicious. I had never used the menu until my last year in Provo and discovered that pretty much everything here is as good as their french toast. The sandwiches and soups are really tasty. This is the best "fast-food" place in Provo.

My office tends to order lunch here about 3 times a month. The thing that sticks out to me is that their turkey isn't sliced, its pieces of turkey breast. I love that. Makes it so much better. They also use leaf lettuce, which makes a difference. their tomatoes suck (as to all fast food and most restaurants, for some reason they can't find fresh tomato to save their lives and the bread is solid. Their salads are pretty basic, not my favorite. All in all though Kneaders is quality stuff. Much better than a subway.

My brother-in-law took me to this place pretty early in the morning. I was soo tired and am generally not a breakfast person. In fact I prefer cold pizza or cheeseburger for breakfast over breakfast food. I also don't always trust his level of food pickyness so I was nervous. I looked over the menu pretty frustrated as I did not see much that I would have usually thought to order. I gave up and asked what he likes about this place. He told me the French Toast with their homemade syrup. I went with it, I liked the idea that they made their own syrup. Turns out I absolutely loved it and look forward to going back the next time I am in Utah.

Unlimited french toast for breakfast seems like a good deal until you find out how filling one plate can be. Really sweet french toast just the way I like it. It's a great way to end the date you started the night before. Just kidding, you horny kids.

Wow! Visiting Provo for the first time, my brother in law took me here for a late breakfast, just before the french toast ended. I'm not a huge french toast fan, but if all french toast was like this, I'd change my mind. The bread was thick and fluffy and the syrup was sweet! The french toast is all you can eat. I think you would be lucky to finish off more than two plates. If you do go for plate 2 or 3, make sure to conserve your homemade whipped cream and strawberries. You only get the french toast and syrup on your refills. Can't beat the price either. For 3 people, the breakfast was about $15.

Kneaders has yet to leave me down and is an absolute 'go-to' for a quick casual lunch, dinner, or breakfast. It's delicious and family friendly and while often crowded, they seem to deal with the hustle and bustle quite well.

The best place ever for french toast. Hands down. I love that it is ALL YOU CAN EAT for only $5. This place is heavenly. I also love their hazlenut bread. Yum! You can't go wrong with this place.

What are the critical elements of a casual sit down bakery? Well if you ask Corner Bakery, Panera Bread, or any number of other similar restaurant chains they'll all tell you that an atmosphere akin to Barnes and Noble and free WiFi is all you need to stay in business. Oh yeah, and some decent food ... maybe. But if you ask Kneaders, they'll tell you to put away you netbook and come with an empty stomach so you can focus on some delicious breakfast food, bread, and pastries. To put it bluntly, Kneaders is the gold standard for the genre. Now I've only been here for breakfast , which is why I can't quite hand out the fiver, but there's no doubt it was quality. Let us begin with the savory sweet delight that is the all you can eat french toast. From the moment I laid eyes on it I knew we were a match made in heaven. Light and fluffy but outrageously thick, the french toast went perfectly with the sides of whipped cream, strawberries, and buttery syrup. I should have gone back for more and had my wife stuff the extras in her purse. The sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich was no slouch either. The croissant roll was good enough to eat plain, and complimented the other ingredients extremely well. Definitely something I could order again. Kneaders, I have officially added you to my list of "must stops" for my next trip to P Town. Congratulations on a job well done (and thanks Devan R. for suggesting we go!).

Definitely can't beat their all you can eat French toast. I personally think it is better then Maglebeys French toast. Unlimited French toast ends @ 11 am.

The workers at Kneaders have the breakfast assembly line down. Saturday mornings are crazy, because who wouldn't want $5 unlimited french toast? Or my personal favorite, the sausage egg breakfast crescent (to die for!). It has the perfect ratio of bun, to egg to sausage. And the crescent tastes freshly made and flaky. Whatever you get for breakfast, make sure you're ready to weave through a lot of people and a lot of tables before you find a place to sit in the morning.

Cannot get enough of their french toast! $5 for unlimited - how can that be beat! It's usually busy but it's always worth it!

I had lunch here today. Some turkey sandwich with cheese and tomato on a cheesy foccasio (I probably killed the spelling) bread. Pretty plain but that was why it was so good. Fresh, clean, not complicated. DID NOT notice the "fly problem".

Whenever I visit my friend in Provo, we go here. It's a great breakfast place without any heavy competition. Delicious breakfast sandwiches, really fresh baked goods, and great fresh OJ/Lemonade. Very reasonably priced, just hard to find a seat! Especially when its 20 degrees outside on a Saturday!

For breakfast - Amazing french toast. Really. Amazing. It's all you can eat, comes with a side of fluffy whipped cream, strawberries, and a brilliant butter/syrup sauce. You can really only eat two or three pieces because they are so large, but it doesn't matter because it's priced competitively and fills you with delight. For lunch. Meh. I got a sandwich there once. It wasn't very good. Kinda dry. Really blah.

Kneaders makes me happy. I don't give out five stars very often, but this place really deserves it, even if they have mistaken mayo for ranch dressing a few times to put on my turkey ranch sandwich. Their sandwiches are fresh and so good. I always order either the turkey or roast beef ranch sandwich on focaccia - and they know how to make that sandwich right. The turkey isn't deli slice, but just like the turkey that you have left over from Thanksgiving that you love to put in a sandwich....so good. The ranch that they put on the sandwich is awesome as well. Oh! And on certain days of the week they serve cheese and broccoli soup, which is incredible. I love getting a sandwich with a cup of soup - perfect combination. Some of the items on the menu are really inventive, though I stick to what I love and can never fail me. Oh, and the desserts are killer. The macaroons are incredible and not too expensive. The eclairs are super moist and tasty as well. You know you love a place when your review essentially consists of what you enjoy to eat there and not an experience that deemed more memorable than the food. If it's after work, don't go through the drive-thru. It'll take you a bit longer than if you walked inside, and more than likely you have some idiot who's ordering for his whole family, but can't decide what he wants to get them and then has to get specialty orders for each kid. Yeah, that happens to me a lot. If you go inside to order, you can munch on some free bread while you wait and peruse which dessert you want to try...win win. Oh! One more thing. They have unlimited french toast and pancakes in the morning. While I can't eat much in one sitting, the french toast is so good, and so fresh. The slices are huge as well - it's like texas toast used for french toast - what does that make it, French-Tex Toast?

i went to this kneaders before i left provo (in 2004), and i am still going here once i returned (in 2009). not much has changed, besides the tables and chairs and surely the employees. the food is still good, and it's always fresh and delicious. some girlfriends and i will come here very often after meeting at storytime at provo library. this is the only place that my daughter will eat the whole sandwich, even if she takes it apart first. and...OH MY GOSH...i had never had the sugar cookie until yesterday, but that sucker is stinkin' amazing! i have always been a fan of their breads and their eclair, but that cookie! it's seriously heaven on earth. one of these days, i am gonna go there for their french toast. one of these days... i do wish they could expand their restaurant a tad. it's always so busy, especially right next to a hospital. sometimes it takes a while at this location to get your food, if the hospital has made a large order for delivery. only go here during lunch if you really don't want fast food, which is all that is near kneaders.

When I moved from Utah, this is one place I really really missed. Everything is delicious. I love their paninis and soup, as well as the bread pudding. Great comfort food when the weather turns to crap.

Try the all you can eat french toast you will not be disappointed. Sweet, warm, and fresh! During special BYU events be sure to go early, it gets pretty crowded! =-)

A total slice of delight in boring ass Provo, Utah. I met my sister's family there for lunch on Christmas Eve while driving around Utah County shopping and trying to find good coffee and some Uggs for my niece. Anywho, the place was too crowded with some Christmas gift setup they had going on in the doorway. Move that crap out of the door way and let people who wanna eat in for King Benjamin's sake. The bread, fixin's and desserts here are so good and always fresh. Service is very friendly...but I have never met a gay guy that wouldn't say that about an RM who happens to be servicing you at the counter.

It's okay. I really think this place is so overrated. Seeing as how it's the only bakery/cafe around it's no wonder everyone goes here. I've had much better (not in Utah).

The only thing I have bought from kneaders is the french toast and it is amazing and unilimited!

We had lunch and breakfast (twice) at Kneaders Bakery. It was definitely the foodie highlight of our trip. The cinnamon rolls, french toast, and breakfast sandwiches are delicious. The lunch sandwiches are pretty great too, due mostly to the fantastic bread! With a convenient drive-thru, Kneaders is an all-around winner!

Missing kneaders from california! The turkey ranch sandwich is def. The best thing there. Don't leave without getting a dessert! And don't miss out on breakfast! The French toast with special maple syrup is frigging delicious I would eat it on just about anything.

This review is specifically for the Kneaders near BYU. The concept for Kneaders is great. However, the implementation of the concept at this location is terrible. I once went there and the place was FULL of flies. How can you run a business when there are flies all over the place? I walked out and I vowed to never return. However, I got dragged there for a business breakfast. No flies this time, but the tables weren't clean, and the benches were falling apart. Is there no manager at this Kneaders location?!?

I love the Kneaders chain, but this one is the worst in Utah. The food is not as good as the Kneaders in Linden or in West Jordan. It's always busy, and it always feels dirty. My favorite sandwich is the Chicken and Pesto Sandwich. Seriously if you really want to experience Kneaders drive to another one of their locations. This one is also so busy with all of the BYU students. Avoid the crowds.
