First and foremost this place has amazing bread, everyone always raves about Kneaders, but for my money Great Harvest is where its at. When I have to bring some kind of treat to work I stop here and get a loaf of fancy bread and a jar of jam and it's always a huge hit. And there's a bonus slice with butter or honey with every purchase, so I always make sure to take advantage of that. When I want a fast, light lunch but don't want to feel hungry in an hour I stop in and get a slice of bread from Great Harvest and a smoothie from the Jamba Juice, a few doors down. It's seriously a fantastic lunch and I never feel guilty about it later. Now on to things that do make you feel guilty: the sweets! I ADORE their sugar cookies and snickerdoodles, my mother is all about their cinnamon rolls and everyone I've asked raves about the jam. You basically can't go wrong with anything from the baked goods rack. Not everything is great though, their sandwiches are... not good. I don't understand how but somehow they've gone really really wrong here. It makes sense to have sandwiches in the same place where you sell bread but these? Youd think that a place that makes high quality baked goods would get high quality sandwich fixins too but they seem to have punked out on that. TL; DR: Everything else is amazing but skip the sammiches.

We bought two loaves of cinnamon swirl bread here (1 of which we gave away as a gift). It's my favorite loaf of GH bread. So soft and delicious. We also snagged two samples. One of the pumpkin chocolate chip and one of the peach cobbler bread. Both were so incredible. This location also does deli sandwiches for lunch and has a huge seating area.

Bad salads, mediocre service, great bread. I ordered the blue cobb salad and my mom got the great harvest salad and both had scanty toppings! Like half a diced egg, BURNT bacon - like almost black (i was surprised they served this) and my avocado was brown. Love Great Harvest but found this location dissapointing.

Beware the psycho owner! Good sandwiches (that take just shy of forever to make) and great bread, but don't eat there while the owner is in because that woman is nuts! She blasted in the store and immediately began yelling orders to the staff over our table in the dining area about cleanliness issues -- in an almost spotless store. Then like a meth-amped tweaker she began furiously wiping tables and moving chairs around, banging them together like they had picked a fight with her (notably, she used the same rag, without cleaner, to wipe the tables, then the seats - you know, where people put their backsides? yeah - then the condiments area, the soda machine and THEN THE FOOD PREP COUNTER!) . And as if that wasn't enough she made it all the way around the restaurant and then, after a brief pause to clean the bathroom with degreaser (???) she came back and did the exact same thing all over again. If you order a sandwich, get it to go. If you work there, find a different job. And most importantly, if you encounter the owner and you're not armed with a tranquilizer gun, run!

Ok so, we all know the bread at great harvest is FANTASTIC. However, I'm doing a review on their sandwhiches. They are basically kids sized and have very little meat and toppings. The middle part had meat but there was only bread on the outer inch of my sandwich. If you're hungry for a real meal this is not the place for you.

I love this place, The bread is awesome especially the pumpkin bread!!!!!!!! The only thing I would be critical about is that they only stay open until 7PM...

My husband and I were itching for a good freshly baked pastry, and our other two options were closed so we came here. We walked in and grabbed some cinnamon pull apart bread, which was in fact very yummy. The bread was thick and chewy and the cinnamon sugars were caramelizing on the top. It was pretty good. Then I returned later to get a sandwich. I ordered the half turkey pesto sandwich. After the angsty teenager finally started making my sandwich begrudgingly, and I took it from her, and then drove to a park to enjoy the sandwich, it was remarkably mediocre. At best.

BEST BREAD EVER. I am spoiled on Great Harvest bread. I can't have any other sandwich bread. It's just not the same. Great for lunch. Try the turkey cran! The cinnamon burst bread is a favorite, with honey on top!

I especially like their honey whole wheat and dakota loaves. I wasn't impressed with their fruit breads as they tended to form this strange unappetizing taste after a day or two.

I went their based on the reviews I read on here and it was awesome. I got some 9-grain bread, and I got a free slice of pumpkin bread while I waited. So good.

The best bread around! All their bread is baked fresh everyday. When you buy a loaf, you get a free sample slice of bread. Make sure to try out the cinnamon chocolate chip with butter and honey!

I go here every Saturday. After going for several weeks one employee, Julie asked for our names. She wanted to be able to greet us by name when we came in. Talk about customer service! Their bread is delicious and I love that they give you samples when you buy bread. It helps me to decide which bread I will get the next time. I also like the frequent buyer cards. It is always nice to get one of the specialty dessert breads with your free bread coupon. I also like that they have a different specialty bread every month. They also label the bread with the current days colored twist tie. This way you always know you are getting fresh bread.

I tried this place because the writer of one of my favorite blogs opened a Great Harvest and I have been wanting to see what the hype was about. I went in with high expectations and I was not disappointed. I got a free slice of bread (pumpkin chocolate chip) super moist and delicious and gnawed on it while I decided what to get. I ended up getting the chicken sandwich on spinach cheese bread with avacado. YUMMY!! IT was the perfect mix of wet ingredients to bread, Bravo!! I got a half sandwich and it was just the right amount with the pickle spear and bag of sunchips. I also bought a bag of 6 giant gingersnap cookies from heaven. These weren't just some showy big cookie that tastes like crap. These must have been made with love. They were moist but didn't fall apart, and had just the right amount of ginger bit. My only complaint is that they did not accept AMEX.

This is my favorite location of ANYWHERE. They' always so nice and don't skimp on giving you your free-slice. Nice to have Jamba right down the way, and even when I didn't live in the Valley anymore and I just went for work I used to drive down just to get my bread before I left town----until I realized there was one in Logan too. LOL. Honey Whole Wheat has been my favorite for...16 years! :)

Great bread which is definitely worth the price. Their sandwiches are also very delicious.
