Definitely the best korean/asian food in Provo!! Everything was great portions, environment, flavor, side dishes etc. I was only going to give it four stars but the service was great!! The lady (i think the owner) was so welcoming I rated it five stars!! (They even do take out)

I like that the menu includes recommendations and hints - they realize that lots of people in Provo aren't familiar with Asian food, especially Korean. The service was friendly, but food came out slowly. The short ribs were great, and the BBQ pork is also good. But portion sizes don't match the price. Spent $13 for about a cup of rice and even less meat. Don't expect to leave on a full stomach. My fiancé asked for her soup without onions. A few minutes later, the server returned and said the chef wanted to know why she asked for no onions. My fiancé replied that she doesn't like the flavor. Her soup had onions in it.

This looks like "mom's & pop's" Korean restaurant from both outside and inside design. I am pretty surprised that they don't use any "Korean" word in the restaurant name. The food is OK, I ordered my favorite spicy squid for myself, spicy soft tofu for my wife and bulgogi for my son. The spicy squid is on top of the rice and being put in the stone bowl, which is fantastic... I requested extra egg on top and they cooked it perfectly (not overcooked and the egg gets cooked during the mixing of the stone bowl). My wife seems to enjoy her soft tofu as well. I found it OK... The bulgogi is quite a disappointment... while the taste is OK, the meat is rather hard and chewy. My son seems to enjoy it fine, but I could differentiate it quite a bit... also the meat cut is rather large than usual. On side dish is delicious, I like the side dish... and you could add one additional without charge, similar with the lettuce. I would definitely try again in the future as it seems like there are having quite a bit of variety. Oh yah... the restaurant inside is rather "simple" and could say... a little disorganized as I walked into the rest room. The price is good, though...

There wasn't much on the menu that looked good. I think the name fusion is very deceiving. If you are looking for authentic Korean this is your place. If you are looking for fusion then go somewhere else. The menu is entertaining though

I just got to say 4.5 stars for this restaurant (the collective rating for Asian Fusion at the time of writing this review) is a bit overrated. I got the Stone Bowl Bibimbop (see attached picture), and it wasn't bad... it was just, okay I guess? The meat I suspect wasn't the best in quality because it was saturated with salt and other external flavors. I just expected more. Honestly, I felt like the food from here is what you'd expect to find at any local cheap Asian dining restaurant: something filling that you'll forget about the next day. If the food here was cheaper and the atmosphere was less stale, I'd considering coming back. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the place or anything, I just felt like what I got wasn't worth the amount I paid. On the bright side, the service here was timely and nice.

Ehh. I guess I am just not a fan of this type of food. It came out in a sizzling bowl which would have been cool had it tasted good, but it burned the rice all over and the flavor was blandish and they brought out the "sides" in a six section Styrofoam tray, looked like junk and cheap. I will not be going there again but mainly because I do not seem to be a huge fan of "authentic" oriental food. It cost 12.99 for almost all of the menu items and 90% was rice and the portion was not anything to brag about. The feel was like you were at an office cafeteria. Bright lights with a few hundred pictures of oriental babies on the wall. Tasted like something I would try to whip together with a few random ingredients on a Tuesday night. I posted the picture of the Styrofoam sides, if that's what they were.

Tasty food, at a decent price, but service was a little slow and not too proactive (taking orders, refilling water). Minus stars for service and ambiance.

So, I found this place on Yelp and it had a good rating, so I decided to go there. Well, when you get there the environment is extremely stale. Also, loud Korean music playing. Not instrumental Korean music, but loud K-Pop. Not super great for conversation. The food was good tasting, they had big portion sizes, but the environment is not favorable and they bring you sodas in a can, which doesn't seem like a big deal, but it was kind of lame. All in all, I would go back based on the food, but maybe not based on location and the fact that it was just an awkward restaurant to be in.

Man, do I love me some Korean food, and this place is great. I have loved absolutely everything I've eaten here. The potatoes, bulgogi, kimchi, ddeokbokki... oh! and get the hot stone bowl bibimbop on a snowy day! The server is always kind. The wait is a little longer than other sit downs which is typical for Korean restaurants, but I'm so okay with that once I get my food. One downside, they only have cans of soda. Some people are cool with this... I'm not so much. Please try this place.

This place has won me back as my favorite Korean restaurant in Utah County. The couple times I went after I wrote the review have been pretty impressive, the kalbi ribs were delicious, and the spicy pork bulgogi tasted just like how it was back when I first went. I will be a regular at Fusion Asian Grill again.

Not sure what the fuss is about. I lived in Korea and am from Southern California. If this place is the best Korean food in Provo, then I feel bad for you. The food was bland and the service was very slow even though we were the only ones in there. Yelp showed the $ price point, but six people cost nearly $100 with no drinks. I can't make a good recommendation for better Korean food somewhere else in Utah, but I have had much better Korean many other places from California to Alabama.

My Korean friends come here. The food is the most authentic in the area, very delicious. Staff is friendly and quick. Reasonably priced with yummy lunch specials. I have ordered many of the menu options and everything I've had has been great! Soon DuBu being my favorite.

My family is frequent fliers here. There are pictures on the wall of us since the place first opened to prove it. Why do we keep coming back, including every Christmas Eve? The food is great, not overly priced and the place reminds me of all of those Shikdangs I once ate at in Korea. It gets and A+ for authenticity. No, it's not posh like some Korean places on the Wasatch Front, but it "feels like" Korea. I think that's why my Korean students consistently rate it the highest in Utah County. I've been to nearly all of the Korean restaurants in Utah. I find this be the most authentic in terms of ambience and taste. Sam Hak in Provo adds too much sweet to their food, maybe thinking they are catering to the American palate. I strongly disagree with those who didn't like the place. We visited again this week and found the kimchee just right, the bulgogi (pulkogi) spot on, the kimbap great, the bimbimpap just right and the chapchae just the way I remember it in Seoul. And to top it all of the owner is delightful, so kind and helpful.

Loved it! The food was soooo good and there was so much of it. The table was so covered with food dishes that there was barely any room. Can't be annoyed be that. We tried the spicy pork bulgogi, some chicken teriyaki thing, the kimchi, and of course the rice with beans. At $12 a person, it's a little pricy and I think they're a bit stingy on drinks (you get one can with no refills). But we'll definitely be returning.

I love korean food!' Probably the best place in Utah county. I tell everyone I know to come here to eat!!!

This was my first visit and I'll definitely be back soon. My boyfriend literally locked his salad dish. I had the soft tofu stew. It was just the right about of spiciness. My boyfriend got the spicy grilled pork which was also awesome. Every dish comes with some small side dishes and a salad for less than $10. This place is a great value.

I gave this place five stars based on several things. First off the food is delicious! I've been several times and never been disappointed. Everything I've had there is very flavorful and if spicy it still retains the flavor. The only thing that doesn't impress me much is their kimchi. The dish I like the most is the spicy chicken. Secondly, I've also introduced several friends to it and everyone has had great experience. Also the service is good for the type of restaurant. One night in particular it was getting late. We arrived maybe 5 min past closing and they opened the doors to serve us no rush or anything. The menu is also adorable, make sure you read the descriptions when you are making a choice.

I was nervous about eating here because here in Utah nothing is really authentic. when I walked in it wasn't what I excepted for a Korean BBQ place. I was expecting fancy but it totally wasn't. But food was AMAZiNGGG!!! Sooo good I can't wait to go back and it was totally affordable too!

I had a craving for Korean food and randomly was in Orem tonight. A friend looked up on Yelp a good Korean place online and I was determined to try it. I didn't live in Korea nor have I been to a lot of Korean restaurants but I did date someone who made me authentic Korean dishes. The place looks minimal - not like a fancy restaurant. But honestly, some of the most authentic places are set up like this. I could tell it was cozy, local and had my hopes high. These hopes were exceeded! I am absolutely beaming I am so thrilled with this discovery. I ordered the authentic dish of Soybean stew and ordered a spicy appetizer and got 5 great sides of black beans, bean sprouts, potatoes in a sweet sauce, lettuce in sauce and Kim Chi. My favorite of those were the potatoes, then the bean sprouts and next the Kim Chi. The soup was wonderful and I ordered a lemon tea. There were lemon rinds at the bottom of the cup and it was very sweet. It is sweeter than my normal liking but was fun to try something new. The staff and cook are so friendly! I got to know our waitress who was so sweet and impressed with me and my friend's ability to eat our large portions and spicy dishes! We bought Kim Chi and tasty and spicy pickled jalapenos to go. Both wonderful! Karaoke is on Friday night 10-2. I will be back with friends to have this wonderful and authentic treat soon. I don't come to Orem much but I would come down for this restaurant. This place has left me full and truly happy - good food can really put someone in a good mood!

The five star rating is for the food. It was really really good. The spicy pork lunch combo is amazing with just the right amount of spice. The bulgogi beef is also delicious. Great kimchi. The service was slow and they are pretty stingy on the side dishes, but the flavors were great.

Spicy and authentic! Food is the main reason for coming here, not the interior. Cheap, makes you sweat and a fast service.

Of all the Korean restaurants in Orem/Provo area, Fusion Asian Grill is the better of the rest. I liked their spicy rice cake and spicy squid. The only thing about their spicy squid... they put lot of cabbage in it, so there isn't that much of squid. However, the taste of the dish is excellent and I would go back for sure. Their kimchi was lot better then other Korean restaurants. The place is little hidden from the main road, this I think hinders their visibility from the public. If you like Korean food, then this is a place I would recommend you visit and give it a try.

The decor is horrible, the service is slow, but I can never get enough of this place! Their food will blow you away! I've had two other Korean restaurants food around Provo, and they don't even hold a candle to this! It's slightly spicy, but only in a wonderful way. My wife wanted to come here for her birthday, valentines, and any time she gets the chance. Suggested to us by a Korean friend as the best Korean in Utah valley, and I can heartily agree. Be ready to ask for service rather than get, it, though. The kimchee jigue and the spicy pork bulgogi are my favorites, and my wifey loves the stone bowl bibimbop (also BBQ pork).

Great food, very flavorful! The staff (the family). Are very helpful and attentive. Can't wait to visit Utah again so we can eat here again. This was by far my favorite meal while in the state for a week.

I really really enjoyed this place! I went after being referred to it by one of my Korean friends. He claimed in "the best Korean food in Provo" ... other than his mom! They have some really authentic and delicious dishes. Its prices really well because the meals come with a ton of sides. I crave this place way too often and would recommend it for anyone who likes Korean food... o even for those who don't!

I love this place. It has it's problems, but they seem so happy just to make lotsa good food. Korean, more than fusion, this place does almost every dish well. If you don't know what to order, just ask. They are very helpful. I like the bulgogi and kimchi dishes. Not typical, not americanized. Go here for good korean without the wait of Sam's. If they are busy, they tend to get overwhelmed and you might have to wait a little to get seated, served, etc. I've left once or twice because they couldn't hang... no hard feelings. It's hard to find, kinda way in the back off State... but knowing that should help.

The best Korean restaurant in the Provo/Orem area in my opinion. The owner is awesome and super nice. If you go on Friday and Saturday night, you can even do karaoke. The food is really good and the restaurant has a really clean look. Sam Hawk was good too but they don't give you as much as you pay for and Spicy Korea is decent but definitely not as good as Fusion. The only thing is that the food takes a while to get to your table. They take a long time to cook, and they ask that if you're coming in a big group to call ahead and place your order before you get there.

I think the owner(s) must read the Yelp reviews. I had dinner at Asian Fusion a few nights ago and the service was MUCH better. In fact, it was very good. The food was as good as ever. The waiter didn't get our orders confused and brought out the food as we'd ordered it. Well done!

Sam Hawk is much better for Korean food around Provo. It's insanely slow and really dirty.

We checked out the Yelp review and decided to go there. We had beef bulgogi and beef kalbi. The side dishes were great, kimchi was good. The only reason I'm withholding one star is that the food was really sweet. I wish it was little bit more authentic and less sweet. I know they make it sweeter than normal for Americans, but I think people will more it more authentic. But other than that, I have no complaints! :) The price was pretty reasonable. It's best to go there for lunch. It was clean as well.

I love Fusion Asian. There are a lot of different flavors in each meal's various courses, and you end up getting quite a bit of food for your money. The "desert", a ginger drink, is a refreshing treat. The atmosphere is intimate and relaxing as well. I'd recommend it to anyone.

My husband and I were in town from Cali for the week and found Fusion Asian on Yelp (we were so tired of chain eateries) . We were not familiar with Korean food but we have a sense of adventure. We were greeted at the door and seated promptly. We let our young waiter know we were not familiar with Korean cuisine and he had many suggestions asking us questions about our likes and dislikes. The menu was also VERY helpful with many photos and in depth descriptions of each dish. We decided on Beef Bulgogi and Spicy Grilled Chicken. The side dishes came first. Kim Chi, marinated sweet/savory potato, pickled cucumber spears, pickled bean sprouts, romaine salad with a spicy vinaigrette, rice and a small dish of red bean paste. Before we could sample all these goodies our main dishes arrived sizzling hot and smelled so good. The waiter showed us how to load up the romaine lettuce leaves that came with our meals. I know we had no reference as to what Korean food should taste like, but, we do know good food. Every morsel on the table was good. The red bean paste added another layer of flavor to the lettuce "wraps". The chicken dish was spicy but had a sweet background that we thought might be cinnamon (we were wrong) and the mixture was really great. We love spicy, the chicken was tender and it had chewy rice noodles that added a good complimentary texture. The Beef Bulgogi had a sweeter flavor that was reminiscent of teriyaki but I thought had more depth. It also had slivers of onion and carrot that were caramelized and browned. These were a perfect match with the tender grilled beef. We asked the waiter to please give our compliments to the chef and out came a woman we got to compliment her through the translation of our server. She was so sweet and gracious. We had hiked Mt. Timpanogos up to the caves and we finished all food which I think surprised her considering the generous portions. The place was clean, service great and I can confidently say I would highly recommend.

You'll like this restaurant if: 1. You really like Korean food - all the typical favorites (kimchi, bibimbap, bulgogi) are served there. They also sell home-made kimchi out of a fridge near the cash register. I noticed that about 75% of the patrons in the restaurant were Korean, which is probably a sign that the food hasn't been Americanized beyond recognition. 2. You want something different without battling the zoobie hoard - let's face it, most places in Provo are overrun with BYU students. This joint has zero atmosphere/pretense (fairly typical for Korean restaurants), and is therefore not suitable for impressing prospective "eternal companions". In summary: Get great Korean food without battling the zoobie apocalypse.

Easily the best korean restaurant in provo. I've been to sam hawk and spicy corea, and fusion is by far my favorite. The staff here is very kind and always offers good service. If you don't speak korean, there can be a slight language barrier, but not enough to cause problems. The food here is a little cheaper in price than sam hawk or spicy corea, but the quality is excellent. Portions are good enough that unless you've got a bottomless gut, you should leave fully satisfied. The spicy pork is particularly delicious, though my personal favorite here is the mul naengmyeon, which unfortunately is only available in the summer. I've yet to have anything here that I was disappointed with. Overall, great food, good price, good atmosphere, pleasant staff.

I read a review in the paper about this place awhlie back and when driving by hungry, I stopped with my two little ones. The service was fantastic! The wait staff and the chef both gave tons of attention to the kids and made them feel really special. They gave suggesstions on foo, which we took and really enjoyed. We got the pot stickers, which were so much healthier than others I've had. We also ordered the equivalent of a chicken teriyaki bowl and it was delicious. It was served in a seriously hot clay bowl and both I and the kids really enjoyed it. The price was fine, especially since you get lots of little Korean side dishes to try with your order. This would probably be considered "a hole in the wall" kinda place and while the decor was lacking and it wasn't anything fancy, we really enjoyed the service, the price and the food.

I almost accidentally stumbled across Fusian Asian Grill yesterday and it was a very fortunate event--definitely my new favorite place to hit when I'm craving the full, distinct flavors only Korean food can offer (got hooked on Korean food living in Chicago near the Korean district). I ordered the spicy grilled pork which was sizzling hot, tender, and perfectly seasoned. DELICIOUS. Five different pan chan were also served (small complimentary appetizer dishes), and when I indicated that I especially liked a couple of them, the waitress very thoughtfully brought me out some extras to take home with my leftovers! Fusion Asian is close to the BYU campus, quite inexpensive, and offers prompt service (though I was the only one in the restaurant last night!). Too bad the name of the restaurant doesn't give any hint of being Korean b/c I think more people would seek it out if they knew they specialized in Korean fare. As I mentioned, I was the only customer there which made me both sad for those missing out on fantastic Korean food and determined to get the word out and come back with friends!
