The spicy jalapeño burger is delicious, but they messed up our order and also gave us half a thing of fries, bummer.

The food here is fresh and tasty! Try the garlic fries. It's different because they are shoe string fries - it's amazing. This is a nice casual night out. Definitely recommend.

Rarely do I pay extra for a burger and end up happy about it. I'd almost describe it as an artisan sandwich / burger combo. Your meal is presented in a neat and unique basket and the ingredients are noticeably fresh and high quality. Eat here instead of the greasier chains nearby and you will be glad you did.

Stopped by yesterday with some business partners and had a great meal. One of the guys requires glutten free and said it was one of the best rice buns he's tasted. I'd definitely come back.

Worst customer service ever, place was dirty, half the tables were empty but we couldn't sit anywhere all were dirty. Garbage disposal was overflowing. When we finally got our food it was cold and over cooked, they also forgot to bring a shake we order until we were done with our food and had to go ask for it. Needless to say we won't be coming back to this location.

Amazing food. Way better the In-n-Out and five guys. Smash fries and the grasshopper mint shake are to die for. Service was a little slow but the staff is all brand new (recently hired college kids trying to make a buck before school). Place could use a little bit of a face lift but lets face it, it's a cheap fast food restaurant. Great food for a great price.

Loved it! And they offer a veggie burger for the vegetarians in the family!

David Z's review hit it right on the nail. I ordered a large bacon cheeseburger with smash fries. The burger was pretty good and the bun really sets it apart from other burger places. I don't like soggy buns and the egg bun doesn't soak up everything and turn into a mess before I'm done eating it. The fries were pretty good albeit really greasy. I know they add olive oil, but there was a good puddle of it under my fries. My wife got the haystack onions and they were excellent. The biggest reason for the 3 star rating was because they screwed up about everything they could. This is not easy to do either because they have a screen that you can use to review your order while you are placing it. The girl taking my order added fried egg when I didn't ask for it. We pointed it out and she argued with me that it "was just the egg bun". We argued for a good minute pointing out that it said "fried egg" and it charged an extra dollar for it before the girl changed it. When we got our food, my burger was the regular size. My wife ordered haystack onions and they never came. When we talked to someone about it, they said that the regular was what we ordered and there was nothing they could do about it, but at least got my wife her haystack onions. Food - 4 stars. It's pretty good. Service - 1 star. It's terrible.

Really, one of the better Burgers in the Valley. Not in Utah, just the valley. I'll eat here again. pretty amazing considering they're a chain. From the bun, to the condiments, to the beef (which for my money, was a hair overdone); all in all a quality experience. The malts are outstanding. Very very good. So are the fries. Nice taste, good service and a clean place. I'm a fan.

I really hate reviewing franchises. I don't feel like they retain employees long enough to develop a consistent idea of what service or environment will be like there. Still, I figure I should at least review Smashburger once since this is the second time we've eaten there (though not at the same location). First off, I like that they offer a variety of delicious sides, namely fries. The sweet potato fries are so crisp and lovely that I could probably eat them to my own demise...the smash fries are also quite scrumptious; nice combination of spices, though a little oily in the end. Now, more importantly, they offer a delicious veggie burger (not for the faint of palate - unless they hold the jalapenos). Again, I appreciate any place that has a legitimate burger, not an "...uh...oh, we can hold the patty and...uh...then it's vegetarian" kind of burger (like 5 Guys; and In-n-Out doesn't even try - or at least they didn't when I went last 4 years ago). Still I prefer a local joint like Station 22 who offers multiple veggie options. Or a place where you can replace any meat patty with a veggie patty for free! That's my kind of burger joint. So, while I have my issues with the offerings, overall it's good and my favorite burger franchise thus far. I would go just for the sweet potato fries and the spicy veggie burger. Service...really? I don't feel that there's enough expected of a fast food joint to really review this. Our order was taken (she didn't seem happy--neither was I when I worked in the food industry) and our food was delivered (we interacted for approximately 10 seconds total). The soda fountain, or whatever you call that station, was depleted as far as "extras" go, like lemon slices and other stuff (which I can't name since it wasn't there...). They were even pretty low on lids. The bathroom was presentable but had footprints all over the floor. But, honestly, when it comes to fast food, this is not really what I'm looking for. I'm paying for the food, not the establishment, really. Price was fair. Certainly McDonald's or Burger King would be cheaper, but they don't taste as good. And I trust them that much less. Burger King does have a veggie burger, or did several years ago, but, yeah, there wasn't much thought put into that. It was sad and didn't go well with the ketchup. Anyway, Smashburger might get me back in their doors. Delicious shakes, too. Though I didn't see the PB&J listed on the menu. I may have ordered one otherwise.

We had the worst customer service here tonight. So so so disappointed. When they tell you they don't have dishes 40 minutes before closing so they can't serve your order "to stay", you know someone is being lazy. When they are rude on top of telling you they don't have dishes, that's just pathetic. I worked a 12 hour shift before coming in to celebrate the start of my weekend with my husband and the lack of customer service ruined our night.

Good flavors. Sooooo greasy. I know smashing the meat is their gimmick, but for me it just makes the stuff greasy.

My favorite burger place on earth. It's nothing fancy, but here are the things that make it great: egg buns, smash fries, spicy chipotle sauce, milkshakes. The fries are like heaven, with an olive oil and rosemary flavor. The sauce is so delicious with the fries and burger. They take a little longer to cook the food, but they bring it to your table. My wife and I share the full smash burger, an order of fries and a milkshake. Love it!!!

So many burger places get big ratings even though the burger is just OK, but it's cheap. Others, because of all the toppings. It's never because the burger actually tastes like beef. According to the corporate guy at the pre-opening they use 75% Chuck and 25% Shank. The shank adds a lot of beefiness. The burger tastes like beef! It's the only place in town that does. Sometimes they go a little heavy on the season salt, but at least they add some. My biggest worry is that the local people are SO big on volume of food even if it just tastes OK that they will let this place go out of business. I went over tonight at 8:30. They are open until 10:00. They were not only empty, but they were almost done cleaning the place up for the night. The outdoor seating was only filled with people from the nearby Yogurt place. I went to get a couple malts to go. These are real malteds. Nobody else does a true malt. They are made with hagen-daaz.. They use milk. It's not just blended ice cream. It can just barely be drunk through a straw. It tastes like a malt. It's the best in town. Please don't let them go out of business just because you can't get a meal tor 4 for $10.

Went back and forth with the stars because the food was really good but the place was really nasty. First time there. We walked in and food covered the floor. Fries, lettuce and trash literally all over. We did notice an employee trying to sweep/vac the rug in front of the soda machine as we waited in line but at that point she wasn't making much of a dent. We ordered, (swatted at a few flies), sat down and noticed the food smeared salt & pepper shakers (gross) in our table top caddys, along with two (2) paper napkins- both of which had grease spots and appeared to have been less previously handled...gross! We swatted another fly or two while we waited for our food (again, gross). The food arrived, it was hot, fresh and yummy- especially the smash fries. Small portions for the price but not a huge deal. We'll go back because the food was good, but at another (hopefully cleaner and fly free) location. Come on guys, how much does it cost to keep the place clean and bug free? Did I mention the fly that watched us eat our entire meal from his perch on the lights above us? Gross!

Its ok. I had the Beehive burger. I think Five guys it better

Tastiest classic burger in Utah County. This place is a step up in quality from Five Guys, Apollo/Burgers Supreme, In-n-Out. If going for the first time, start with the Classic, can't go wrong and it is SO good. So much flavor, and super fresh. They also have really good salads. BEST chocolate shake in Utah County (as long as you don't let it melt), they even give you the metal cup with the leftovers and a long spoon. Yum! Their fries could be better, but that's not why I go there. Although I do like that they offer veggie frites if you're wanting to be slightly more healthy.

This is a great place for burgers, salads and awesome fries. The food comes out quickly and is good quality. You can add a lot of different things on your burger for free or a few for like $1. I love the salads, they are so fantastic. The service here is friendly. But my favorite thing about this location is how CLEAN it is. The bathroom is so clean you don't even feel like you are in a restaurant. It is awesome. You constantly see the staff wiping down the high chairs, tables and any surface areas. I also really like that usually the staff clears up your mess. My kids loves the smash fries, and the varied selections are great. Definitely would eat here often.

  • Collin B.

Very similar to five guys in terms of price and quality. It's not a bad burger but it's not a seven dollar burger. And that seven dollars doesn't include any drink or any fries. Maybe that's the cheap midwesterner in me.

  • Ryan S.

It's probably 4 stars, but again Lucky 13 has ruined me! That being said I do believe it is the best of the chain restaurants with Apollo/Burger Supreme right there with their pastrami burgers. If you are just rating the patty, Smash probably takes it though. I tried the rosemary/garlic fries...they are pretty weak, I didn't taste any garlic or the like. I'd just stick with the regular fries next time. I'd really like to try the Häagen-Dazs shakes since I know how much fat is in their ice cream. I'm sure they are great. The others in my party really enjoyed there burgers as well, and they like the fact you could get real cheddar cheese not the fake american stuff.

I thought the burger I got was fantastic. It was oddly HUGE on the small bun, but, perhaps that's what is smashed? Service was great. I didn't care for the onion straw things, a bit greasy, but it could have just been my mood. I will be going back again. In my opinion, better than 5 Guys, better than In N Out.

I stopped at the smashburger for lunch on Wednesday, and took my time perusing the menu, but decided to start with the basics and ventured a classic smashburger and fries. My order took 7-8 minutes to arrive despite its simplicity. The beef was crispy caramelized on the outside, with hints of pink in the middle. I found a fragment of bone in it ... I hope it was bovine. The "egg bun" was okay, but I don't know that it was good enough to deserve all the touting the menu gave it. The fries were fine, and I could taste the rosemary, but I was overwhelmed with "meh". All in all, it was a perfectly serviceable burger, but with In-n-Out, Coney's & 5 Guys all within a stone's throw, I don't think it will be a frequent stop for me.

  • Leland R.

Delicious burger, but when I go back, it will be for the fries. They toss them in rosemary, garlic, and olive oil. Delicious. I got the 1/2 lb. burger and it was quite tasty. The patty stuck out about an inch from the bun all the way around the circumference of the burger. The beef was delicious and tasted good alone-- something which most burger places cannot claim. The person taking our order was a bit slow and got some things wrong, but they are new so that is to be expected for now. All-in-all a good burger and fries place.

One of the best burger places in the Provo/Orem area. This place has really great food & affordable prices. And the actual place is always clean & the staff is nice & friendly. The service is quick & the food is good quality stuff. The Spicy Baja chicken burger, smashfries & sweet potato smashfries are amazing!

Some of the nicest staff you will meet. On the occasion that my aunt and I went we ended up waiting 25 minutes for our burger. However, the place was fully seated and the main chef didn't show up due to the fact that he was hit by a car :( I didn't know this, and after waiting 20 minutes I had a stern talking to the waiter. He told me he was sorry and they (him and the manager) ended up giving us gift money to cover our meal and come back again. They also gave us two shakes, cinnamon flavored. The burgers that we got (mine was the beehive burger) was pretty good, not special though (which would have deserved four stars (oh how I wanted to give this place four stars)). The shake was the best I had however. Everyone in Utah thinks their thick shakes are the bomb (really just a blizzard) but this shake which wasn't Utah thick was better than any other shake I had down there. In conclusion the restaurant has unique burgers and a friendly staff. I would advise people try the restaurant and get a shake with their burger. One of the nicest managers I've met, he clearly cares about his restaurant and the people.

There has been so much hype over good hamburgers over the last few years with a few of the hamburger places rolling in. (Five Guys, In-N-Out, etc) and I was so unimpressed with them that I didn't even visit Smashburger for the longest time. My first visit was incidental and I didn't anticipate being impressed. I was very mistaken - in fact I was so impressed with my food that I approached the guy behind the counter (young teenaged guy) and repeatedly told him this was the best hamburger I'd ever had in my life. I made sure he let the cooks know as well.

    (5)
  • Candice P.

My main complaint was the price for a mediocre burger-- go to Five Guys if you want to spend this much on a burger and it is far better in my opinion.

  • Casey J.

I went to Smashburger hoping to find a really good burger. The cashier told me it would be the best burger I'd ever had. What I got was rather bland and plain. It reminded me of something I'd get at Wendy's. I tried again the next week. I tried a different burger and had the same result. A few weeks later, I decided to try a chicken sandwich. When I got home with it, they had forgotten to include lettuce, tomatoes, and condiments, etc. I called them to check that it was supposed to have these things, which it was. Instead, I had a plain chicken breast on a bun. Strike 3.

As a 3 star rating might suggest, not bad, not amazing. In short, if you're hungry and its around, by all means, stop in. I wouldn't go out of my way for it though. It was one of those nights where I wasn't craving anything in particular and had heard good things about Smashburger so I thought, "hey, why not?" I got a classic burger because how can you go wrong with something classic right? I also got the sweet potato fries and a chocolate malt. The burger was OK. I was pleased to see that the patty was as they claimed "never frozen" and it had those oh so promising scorched bits that remind me of a summer barbecue. The burger sadly, fell short of a summer barbecue. It was flavorless. And, it had American cheese on it. That wasn't a surprise as it was advertised as such on the menu, but still unfortunate as American cheese is...well, I guess it comes down to preference on that one but I'm not a fan. The fries were dry and also relatively flavorless. To be fair, it just turns out that this was a case of my attempt at boldness gone wrong, I'm not really a sweet potato person. However, on the objective side of things, they are supposed to be made with olive oil, rosemary, and salted with Sea Salt. I had to salt them myself, quite a bit to get any flavor out of them. The rosemary? There were a couple flecks here and there but I could hardly call it seasoned. The malt was great. It's been a long time since I've had a malt and it really hit the spot, even on a cold December night. It was thick and a wonderfully balanced blend of chocolate and malt. My only complaint is that the "refill tin" had maybe two extra spoonfuls in it, but I was too full to finish the whole malt anyway. Like I said, I left full and don't have any real complaints. This place is just OK, but nothing to stand out above anything else.

Smashburger in my opinion trumps In-n-Out, Five Guys, and any other Utah Valley burger place. In-n-Out is great, especially for the price, and yes Smashburger is a little more expensive, but their burgers are juicy and very tasty, and higher in quality. The presentation is excellent as well. The service is great, they are friendly and willing to get you anything you need even after you order as you sit in the boothes. The smash fries are flavored with rosemary and olive oil, I prefer them. You will not be let down. Try it out.

  • Evrhet M.

By far the best burgers in Orem, and they definitely have the best service. Smashburger has some great tasting burgers. The meat they use on their burgers has great flavor, and they perserve that with their excellent grilling. The burgers are pretty big, and I usually order off the kids menu to get a regular size burger. They are all great for their value. Beyond the burgers their smash fries are delicious. They have rosemary, garlic, and olive oil on them which makes for an excellent batch of fries. They also have chocolate, vanilla, or mint Häagen-Dazs milk shakes. The service is phenomenal at Smashburger. The whole staff is very friendly from ordering your food to the cleanup crew. I absolutely enjoy coming to Smashburger and would choose it every time over five guys.

  • David Z.

Decent, customizable fast food. Will it blow you away with flavor? Probably not. Is it infinitely better than McDonald's? Definitely. Smashburger is a solid place to grab a burger. I prefer the build-your-own chicken burgers, but many of their menu items sound tasty. The price is a bit more spendy than your average fast food, but the increase in quality is worth it. All that said, Smashburger suffers from a complete inability to get my order right. Every single time I've been there, something has been messed up. I'm not talking something like they forgot to take the pickles off either, I'm saying they completely butcher the order. They get it right the second time, but seriously? It's not that hard! 3 stars overall, -1 for having to order 2x every time I go.

went on Sunday afternoon cashier was super friendly food was quick, great menu tasted great, looked great, etc portions were kinda small

  • Emshter C.

I gave this 4 out of 5 because fries aren't included. There needs to be a separate order for them. I got a honey bbq chicken burger on a wheat bun (that normally comes on a regular bun). My friend and I went on a Sunday so we were the only ones there and the wait wasn't too long. The sandwich was messy but really good. The sauce wasn't too sweet or too bbq-y. I'll definitely go back!

Love the rosemary fries and any place that offers an Egg on my burger wins a few bonus points. Great grasshopper shakes too.

  • Abe N.

I love Smash Burger. I've had both the classic and the spicy baja. I love them both. The sweet potato fries are also a must. I gave them 4 stars because I think it is a bit pricey for the amount of food you get.

    (4)
  • Brandon A.

I've been here a few times now and it really is a decent burger. I think the prices are a bit steep for what you are getting. Everything tasted very fresh and there are some interesting variations to choose from. Call me crazy, but I'd rather go down the street and grab a cheaper and better burger from (GASP) In-n-Out. Worth checking out if your a burger guy like me.

    (3)
  • Isla G.

Their burgers are pretty delicious and fairly customizable; however, they're pricey. I like to add a fried egg to my burgers, and I usually like the rosemary/garlic fries (but these can be hit and miss). If you do pay a visit, I'd definitely recommend splurging for a Häagen-Dazs shake ... mmm!

    (4)
  • C B.

I was impressed with their burgers & fries. I stole a few bites of the hamburger from my kid. I had the Baja salad & I will ask for the dressing on the side when I go again. They put WAY too much dressing on it. The dressing made the salad pretty soggy. Also, the salad had onions on it & I'm not a fan of onions. I will definitely go again!

    (4)
  • Josh I.

The burgers just aren't that good. Reb Robbin kills their burgers and five guys are even better. Go to springville for a way better burger at art city trolley or even firehouse burger. The one thing they do have is good shakes, over priced like everything else there, but go when they are half off.

    (2)
  • Daniel D.

Best...fries...ever! Burgers are good as they seem more fresh, handmade. You can customize your own burger so get any toppings you like for a good price. But the Smashfries are where it's at. Not your normal fries. They make them with olive oil and gralic salt and rosemary. Its like eating the bread they give you before your meal at an Italian restaurant. And the fry sauce is not just mayo and ketchup. They add some ranch to it as well, perfect with the smash fries. I've already gone back twice, definitely going back again.

    (5)
  • Logan T.

Good food, but greasy. Love the variety, including Chicago dog and eggs on burgers if you want it that way. Super custom and delicious. Fries are adored by everyone I know...except me. A little too strong in the flavor department for me. They lose the fry taste. Cool atmosphere, lots of seating but it can fill up fast and get dirty on weekends and evenings.

  • Chris D.

Everything at this place is a Smash! Great burgers, fries and shakes. Oh, and you have to try their fried pickles! So delicious. Originally, the idea repulsed me, but after giving them a try, I order them on every visit. I would have given 5 stars instead of 4, but TWICE (early on shortly after this location opened) my burger was not cooked all the way through, but in the many times I have visited since, that has not been a problem. The only other issue I have is the seating; not a fan of the long benches that run along multiple tables It can be really hard to find a place to sit, but that is an indication of how good it is - always busy! That in turn leads to the occasional long wait for your food, but it is worth it. In reality, I think this place comes across as somewhat of a hybrid between a traditional sit-down restaurant and a fast-food burger joint.

  • Drew D.

So i went to this place in Draper and it was fairly tasty. I had the chicken smash burger thing and it was alright. the chicken breast was a bit thin and ligament-y, not a nice thick piece of chicken like i would have expected for $13. Their fries are a nice change of pace, thin and crispy. Its expensive for a burger joint. That was my main problem with it, burgers are supposed to be less than $13.

Tad bit expensive for a burger, but still very delicious. Their patty is perfect.

  • Jon D.

Seriously the best burger I've had in Provo. Beats In 'n Out and Five Guys for sure. In terms of Yelp it's cheap but in terms of burgers its a little bit more expensive. I think it's worth it for the taste. Have egg buns which are delicious and the meat is fresh and juicy. A little bit greasy but whatever. The smash fries are pretty good too. They cook them in olive oil with rosemary and some other stuff. A little different but I liked them. They have lots of other good stuff too. My wife loves their malts. Overall I loved it and probably will be going there for most of my burgers for now on. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because I do think its a tiny bit pricey, but that's probably just because I'm a poor college kid.

Good burgers and Fry's. We've been there a half a dozen times and everything we've ever eaten has been fantastic. The Burgers are cooked to perfection and the condiments are tasty. It's the best Burger place in Utah county. You don't get that greasy feeling after your done eating.

  • Semisi B.

I must say I was impressed by the quality of their food. The portion size was just right for me, and the rosemary olive oil fries were so tasty! Food came quickly and the manager came up to us and introduced herself ensuring we were satisfied.

I LOVE their burgers period! For a fast food joint it is great and the staff is nice...but, oh BUT the burger! You see I'm not a burger person. I rarely eat them BUT Smashburger is the REASOn I had two burgers in the past three months! That's a lot if you know me! I also really like their fried sweet potatoes! You gotta try it! I'm hooked!

  • Blake T.

Awesome joint for getting a great burger! The spicy baja is my favorite, cuz everything is better with guacamole. And who can resist sweet potato fries? Good food, great service, and nice place to enjoy an all-American meal.

I've eaten at smash mouth twice now at two different locations. Tried three different hamburgers all were exceptional in their own right. Their fries are truly amazing that would be the smash fries. This is a place I'd be happy to stop in anytime.

  • Holly S.

Yeah. Not worth it either. They were really rude when I cane in at 9:50 pm saying theywe're closed. $11 for a crappy burger that was all grease, they got my order wrong and DIDN'T give me another, just fixed the top (I'm allergic to onions!) And the fries were dry and there were gross black and brown pieces that were soggy too. The only good thing was the avocado. Hmm.

First time going to smash burger. at the register had very friendly service. i got my food to go. i got back to my work and when i opened the wrapping to my burger it looked like it was all thrown together, i had the avocado burger. and witch all the avocado was sliced but in a big clump in the center of the burger. it looked ery messy with some weird sauce and everything else thrown on as well. i moved the lettus and there was a CRAP load of mayo. i ended up having to wipe off 1/4 cup of it off. not very impressed with smash burger

I love Smashburger. This location maintains the same level of greatness that I expect from all smashburger locations. Excellent staff, excellent food, and an overall great experience. Typically, I go with a Build your Own big smash. I love the wheat bun, pepperjack cheese, and some added bacon. If you have room, grab some fried and a milkshake. Both are fantastic. The burger tastes very home made which I personally love. You can tell that it is a quality patty, and it is usually seasoned very well. I find myself waiting a little longer than I typically like to for my food, but it is worth it. The burgers always come out hot and fresh, and the fries are always cooked to perfection. Sometimes I feel like the burger and fries is a little expensive, as I usually spend around 10+ dollars for lunch. But hey, you get what you pay for. The quality is there. A bit of advice, grab a soda. The water here tastes terrible. I have been 5+ times and it wasn't just a one time thing - it tastes like tap water from a third world country. I definitely recommend smashburger over most burger places in utah county. If you haven't been here already, give it a shot and you wont be disappointed.

So, this place made me sad, because it was good food and quick service. The burger, while not the best I've ever had, was head and shoulders above most fast food. I enjoyed the shoestring rosemary fries, and the Oreo shake was top-notch creamy and (even more important) drinkable - an oasis in a city with concrete shakes you have to dig out with a spoon. But I'm not going to return because my meal - regular burger, fries, and soda - was almost $12 with tax. For one person that's kind of ridiculous. I literally got a steak and two sides at Texas Roadhouse last time for less than that. And the portion sizes were relatively small too. Honestly, I left kind of hungry still Again, Five Guys remains the champion in my book.

Loved Smashburger! Love the chicken sandwiches as well as the hamburgers! The only thing I would change about this place is the shoe string fries, they are very greasy and sometimes too greasy and soggy to eat. So I usually get the sweet potato fries which are amazing! And very friendly staff!

Waited 15+ minutes for 2 burgers and they weren't even busy. Watched 2 burgers sit under the heat lamp for over five minutes. I finally asked somebody if they lost my order. They then proceeded to bring me the 2 burgers that had been sitting there under the heat lamps. Fries were not hot, despite what you might think a heat lamp will do.

Just went in for a treat. Had the sweet potato smashfries and an onion haystack plus a chocolate milkshake. All very good. This was my first time but I plan to go back and try a burger sometime.

This location has gone downhill its very dirty tables are not clean there is food all over floor and seats. The current management is not taking care of it. Fist time i saw it like this t though it may be abad day but its been like this on multiple occasions and its not busy. Food seems fine though but still scary

I am just moderately satisfied with the food I had here. The fries were probably the best part. They are thin cut and cooked nicely then tossed in a rosemary/oil mix that gives them decent flavor. I don't understand why you would cook fries in oil and then feel the need to put them in more oil. Maybe a lot of oil wasn't enough and they decided it needed more. Either way they were good tasting, bad foe ya. The burger was a little thin for my liking. It did have good flavor and I do not put anything on mine except the cheese and veggies. Any spread kills a burgers flavor in my opinion. It was made with 100% fresh real beef. Part shank, mostly chuck. It was cooked to a light crisp and was not burnt. I have had a lot of burgers that mostly resembled hockey pucks and this was not one of them. The veggies were still fresh at 8:30pm when we arrived. The menu was a little limited but that is good for an indecisive eater like me. Don't give me a million choices as it will take me a long while to figure what I want. The staff was very friendly and the place was sorta clean for an end of day Saturday. I do see they have shakes and malts but I passed. Maybe next time.

This is my favorite burger place. Sure it's more expensive than other joints, but it's definitely worth the money. You get what you pay for here. My favorite thing to get is the beehive burger, if you get it big it will most likely fill you up. Their shakes are awesome as well. I'm indifferent with their fries, but still better than average. Overall I give this place a 9 out of 10. Better than in n out, and give guys, but more expensive, still definitely worth it!!

The food here was decent but not amazing. I felt like they made a bigger show than the food deserved. Good decor but a little pricy for the quality. I think Carl's Jr or Hardee's has better burgers.

Every time I've gone here it's been pretty good. So why don't I go here often or give it a better rating? The price. Yea, hard to justify pretty good for the price they charge.

I love this place. The beef is the most savory around. I prefer this to Red Robin anyday. My favorite burger is the avocado bacon club but with the bigger beef patty instead of the chicken. Throw in smash fries and you have a delicious meal for under $10. I also really like their take on fry sauce- it has a bit more spice to it and is really tasty. I have only had a shake once and remember it being pretty tasty. The only place that gives this serious competition is Cubbys Chicago Beef in Provo. Both have excellent burgers made with organic and locally sourced supplies.

Really good food, one of my favorite burger places and really quick service. My only complaint is the prices. You can get a burger, fries and a drink for about 12 dollars. We would probably come a lot more if prices went down. Still love the food!

Smashburger was ok. Service is great, the decor and layout is nice. The food came in a unique tray and was laid out nicely. I just wasn't happy with the taste and value for the money. In-N-Out burger is much better as is Little Acorn in Pleasant Grove. To each his own but for my money I will go to either of the other two.

They have a variety of buns and burgers. The burger I had was great. The fries with rosemary were fantastic. I was dumb and left my wallet on the table and when I called the restaurant back, they had it in the safe. I was flying out on a trip that evening and I would have been up a creek without my wallet.

Delicious burgers, and fries! We had the Classic and the Beehive, and both were fantastic. I wish the Beehive had some fresh ingredients like lettuce or tomatoes, but it was very good anyway. We also got the smash fries (amazing), sweet potato fries (incredible), and the onions (my favorite). I'll be going back, and hope this place sticks around for a while!

A 5?!! Yeah, a five star rating. This was the best burger I have ever had. I got the California sandwich and had them replace the chicken with a burger patty and I have never been more impressed. The fries are different and for that reason I am in love. Not the same lard oil with enough salt to preserve an elephant but Olive oil (recommended by harvard to be eaten with every meal) and rosemary and garlic truly amazing. And if you like the sweeter things, the sweet potato fries are awesome as well, yeah, that's right, I had both.

K I love smash. I get the spicy baja 1/3 lb no guac extra lettuce extra tomatoe add bacon add BBQ sauce and regular fries an a sprite. This meal is quite incomparable when it comes to any other burger place in Utah County. The jalapeños are fresh and it just Tastes how you've always wanted a spicy burger to taste. Friendly staff, quick kitchen staff. Never had a complaint! It's my perfect order everytime! Check it out.

The service was friendly. The sweet potato fries were okay, a little dry. The burger itself was nicely seasoned and was good, but not the best thing I've ever had.

The burger here are amazing, the buns are amazing and the service is amazing. I have only good things to say about Smash Burger. They are superior to Five Guys in every way the have a great selection of burgers and they also offer chicken as a choice for all the sandwiches. I would order the Beehive Burger with a fried egg it will change your life.

I thought this place was just okay. The burgers were okay, but pretty greasy. And I don't really care for the fries. Call me old fashioned but I like regular potato french fries.

I love this place. Cool casual atmosphere and the burgers are awesome. I ordered the 1/3 pounder with fries. Way better than jcw's, five guys or any of those other burger joints. Highly recommend. Great food, great price.

can't remember exactly what burger we got but it was tasty. yummy bun and the meat is so flavorful. loved the French fries the seasoning was unique and delish. I regret not ordering a shake. next time fir sure. cannot be compared to in n out not even in the same ballpark. I love in n out but smashburger isn't really fast food because there is no drive thru. can't wait to get back to Utah or La Jolla to get another great burger and this time a shake.
