dude. How do you fuck up orange sesame chicken my dude? I could've gone to costco and copped me a orange sesame chicken kit that tasted better and was better cooked than here. the chicken wasn't even FULLY coated in the sauce which i can tell that it's some frozen breaded chicken that was precooked, reheated and slathered together with some sauce and a sprinkle of some sesame. hell to the nawl. i'm so cool and never bringing myself here for cheat day to pig out. i'd rather pop open a bag of doritos in the comfort of my own home dipping it in some sour cream, at least knowing that it will taste like i expect it and not be anything less. then this random fat white old dude is in the front waiting for his food to be served, starts openly raving about this place. and that is why he's fat cause he loves that msg, reheated precooked BLAH. no thanks. i gave it 2 stars cause they were at least polite, but their food SUCKED. never again.

The line was longer than my husband wanted to wait at Panda Express, so we came here anticipating far better food than Panda. We were disappointed. Got the small family meal. The sauces were bland. The Gyoza was good, but no different than what you could get from the freezer section. Fried rice was better than Panda though. And the pork nicely breaded, not too thick not too thin, fresh and hot, not dry. The sweet and sour sauce though was nothing remarkable.

I have gotten to know the owners and they are so friendly every time my son and I come in! Food is always great but customer service has stepped it up!!!

THE PICTURE OF YOUR CREAM CHEESE WONTONS HAS THEM IN TRIANGLES!!! My favorite wontons of all time are at a place called diamond chinese... they are triangles. I have never found triangle ones besides there. This place has a picture of its menu with triangle wontons... but they're not. I'm so mad I am gonna tell the internet how i feel!! Now you probably well... al pal is just really mad and thats why he is leaving such a poor review. First off... thanks for your lack of faith in me... second... EHHHHH! (poop face). How was the rice? not that well seasoned. more on the hard side... and was quite dissapointing. How bout the general chicken? horrible taste... very nothing and a little sugar. The breading isn't my favorite type. How bout the cashew chicken? This was actually really well done, the chicken was tender, and the sauce was a heavy soy sauce with just the right amount of sweetness. The only down side... the little bone in the first bite. After that there werent any but the first bite... EW (jimmy fallon). The non triangular cream cheese wontons were pretty good, wasnt a fan of the sweet and sour sauce that accompanied it but hey... they werent triangles so I had already given up. THE VERDICT: so whats my silver lining? its too far away for me to eat there anyways!! so just one wasted trip of around 17 dollars. It is an order at the register and you are not served. Which was fine. Another good thing is at least the wontons were in triangle shape... oh wait. DONT HAVE THAT PICTURE IF THEY DONT LOOK LIKE THAT. I'm paul harvey... good day.

I had eaten here a lot as they are on my way home from work. Prices were great and portions were generous. I ended up getting food poisoning from their food and won't be going back.

They should have someone on the phone who knows how to understand English. Explaining my address 4 times and having to read my card number 3 times doesn't help my confidence in this place at all.

I had the sesame chicken lunch special. Big servings. Food is piping hot and tastes fresh

The price is really good and the food is always great and hot! I love this place just for some quick Chinese food.

If you want fast Chinese food this is way better than Panda Express! I love ordering the pon-pon chicken! Cheap prices and huge portions. They have a great delivery service, and you get free pot stickers with checks over $25!

Let's start off by talking about the food. The food here was just gross. It tasted re-heated and super greasy, and served luke warm. Now besides the food, the customer service was terrible. I was treated horribly, and nobody there could speak English. I just could not communicate what I wanted to them. It was very frustrating. And they messed up my order like 3 times. Couldn't even understand what soda I wanted. The whole experience was terrible and food was terrible. Never going back.

We love rice wok! We usually order the sweet n sour chicken, vegetable lo mein and Kung po chicken and beef and broccoli. We have been happy with everything we have ordered. I love that they deliver. They are quick and my food is hot!!!

I love going to Rice Wok, they're always incredibly fast and their food is always good! I love ordering their Orange Chicken and Sweet n Sour Chicken, so much flavor packed into every bite! Even the rice is good as a standalone item, just make sure and eat it while it's nice and warm, I've noticed it loses its flavor and nice texture if you refrigerate it and warm it back up. All in all its a great place to grab a quick bite of Chinese food and the owners/employees are always very friendly!

Not bad, nothing special. Personally, I'd rather have Panda Express. Similar quality. Both are cheap Chinese.

Ordered delivery from here and didn't get one meal that was ordered. We even had to have it delivered, as where I work is too far away to drive, order food, and drive back. What we did get was good, hence two stars, but otherwise bad experience getting food delivered to my work. I did get my kun pao beef, but not my shrimp lo main.

Best Chinese food in the Orem/Provo area. Ive had it all and this place is the bomb. I have tried almost everything on the menu and its all fresh, hot, and cooked to perfection!

One of those places that you forget you love until you have it again. Big portions, low prices and fast. Delivery is quick and cheap and pick up is nearly wait free, like as in 5 min after you order. Friendly staff for the most part, but make sure you order clearly and off the menu or you can get stuck with something that you didn't expect by fault all your own. Check your order before you take off too. They are usually busy and can mess stuff up, but not often and quickly will remedy any mistakes.

I looked at the kitchen, and deplored the idea of thinking of something to cook and cleaning dishes afterward so I sought Chinese. The Rice Wok is close to home, and that is really what I wanted. The food was ready before I could get there. Fast. My order was filled correctly, I think. There were more pot-stickers than I anticipated, but they were crunchy so I forgave them. I was unexcited by the pork chow mein, but the sesame chicken was good if a little on the sweet side. The Mongolian Beef was only a little spicey. So the Rice Wok saved the day. Everything was prepared well, and I bet there are menu items that will please me more ... I just need to find them.

About the only thing to like is that it is a pretty quick mostly carry out place. There are lots of large pieces of zucchini and celery in the kung pao chicken to add mass to the dish. Talk about non standard additions. There is very little spice. I'll skip going on. I like that it's not a chain, but it's not any better than the chains either.

So rude. I live right on the border of Provo and Orem and called in a delivery order, sometimes I have problems getting certain place to deliver since my house is often at the very end of each delivery area. However, I would at least expect them to tactfully tell me they cannot. Instead, he yelled at me because he said I was in Provo and then hung up on me while I was still speaking. Ridiculous and I will now NEVER go here.

Rice wok was very tasty and yummy chinese food! i especially loved the chow main noodles very thick and flavorful! we decided to call and have it delivered to our house. on the phone they told us it would take 45 min. it ended up being about an hour and 10 min. Quality food does take awhile to prepare and deliver I understand I just wish we had notice that it was going to be a little later. But the food was very good I will be back for more!!!

Excellent, flavorful and large portions! There are many choices and I have tried most of them. They are all excellent. Don't miss the opportunity to have an excellent meal for an affordable price.

Just throwing in another vote for pon pon chicken. I love it. The other dishes are a little under flavored for me.

I love this chinese place! the prices you pay for is unbelievable 6 bucks for a dinner or lunch combo is to die for. Also its Chinese workers not American or Mexican not being racist or anything just saying. Chinese food by Chinese workers. I come here least 3-4 times a month. People need to come and try it out!

This was by far one of the most unprofessional bushiness I have ever dealt with. We called to make a delivery order the first phone call the guy taking the order couldn't understand the phone number so we got hung up on. Figuring that this may have in fact been a mistake we called back and it sounded like the phone was answered and just left on the counter while someone was talking to a customer in person. (This i do slightly understand but you can at least let someone know that they are on hold to be courteous and let someone know.) So we called back again and the same thing happened so figuring it could be a mistake on our phone or the restaurants we called back. This last and final phone call is the reason why this review is getting left. The final time we called the employees of this so called business answered the phone and I quote "Hello, this is the Police Department how can I help you?" At this time you can literally here every other employee laughing in the background. I can assure you this restaurant will never be getting my business and I will not recommend this establishment to anyone.

This small Chinese Restaurant has a full menu of all the great Oriental food we all love. I have had almost every dish on the menu. All of them were great! I recommend any of the sweet and sour dishes and the beef and broccoli.

Rice Wok is exactly what you'd expect from a legit hole-in-the-wall Chinese place, and that's the best thing I can say about it! Honestly though, when you're in the mood for really fast, cheap Chinese food, Rice Wok is the place to go in Orem. Is it the best chinese food? No, but you wouldn't expect that! Does the speed at which they make their food make even Del Taco jealous? Yes! So if you want great Chinese food, this might not be the best place, but if you're really craving some fried rice, cashew chicken, or potstickers, and you don't have a lot of cash or time, go to Rice Wok!

The food was fast and fresh. The General Tso's Chicken I got was crisp and delicious. I was impressed with the amount of food we received. I would go back.

Really good pot stickers and combo plates. Looking for good Chinese take out this is the place! Cheap, big portions and the food is excellent.

Some of the finer "cheap Chinese" food in the valley. Good portion size and fast service. This is strictly a take out place, as there is hardly any room to sit here. Excellent delivery speed as well. This is a good place for those quick nights. Good prices too.

I ordered the mongolian beef lunch. The menu said that it comes with ham fried rice and 2 dumplings. The Mongolian beef was tasty and had the right amount of spice. The dumplings were fried and ok too...but the "ham" fried rice was horrible. It had no flavor and I got two tiny, cubes of ham that tastes like a hot dog. Yuck

Excellent cheap take out Chinese food. Try the Mongolian beef, Kung pao chicken or the pon pon chicken. You won't be disappointed.

This is the best-tasting Chinese food I have had in Utah Valley. The portions are large and very cheap! Almost all combo plates are $5.50 and come with fried rice, pot stickers, the main entree and a fortune cookie. Their service is incredibly fast as well. My husband and I were thoroughly impressed. I ate the leftovers 2 days later it tasted just as good as the night we got it. So excited to have a favorite Chinese restaurant!

Great place. good food, low price. I first tried Rice Wok about 2 weeks ago and have been back 3 times since. The food is great and the workers are very friendly and very fast. They also deliver within their area.Prices are comparable to Panda Express and the food is 10 times better, fresh made to order. I strongly recommend.

If you're looking for a large portion of authentic Chinese food at a good price, Rice Wok in Orem is going to be hard to beat. The restaurant is tiny so I recommend take out, especially since everyone else that goes there does takeout too so you'll find yourself waiting behind a bunch of takeout orders if you don't.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
