Long day on road, and wanted dinner before heading to motel. Happened upon this place and figured it was worth a try. We were not disappointed. Had the buff bowl, pasta with veg and the bomb was macaroni and cheese with pork and the margarita flatbread. All to go. We ate about 2 hours later after we finally found a motel. BYU back to school. Food reheated nicely and was greatly enjoyed. Wish we had one close to us on Los Angeles.

I asked for extra sauce. And paid for extra sauce. There was a barely any amount of sauce in my food. When I told a worker, they told me that they put it in the food already, but it felt like dry noodles. I asked if I could just get an extra side of sauce and they told me that I had to pay for it? When I told them I already did, they gave me attitude and told me to pay again. The lobby was absolutely filthy. I had to clean my own table to try to get a seat. They're understaffed, and the workers are rude. Would not recommend. It was terrible.

Warning: Athlete, strongly biased by Indonesian cuisine. OVERALL REVIEW REASON: Decent but overpriced food. Price on menu doesn't include any meat in the dish in most cases. May leave you slightly hungry despite costing close to $10, assuming you add meat for extra. The pad Thai dish is good. I also recommend the Japanese pan noodles if you love thick noodles. TIP: substitute the pan noodles into other dishes. Or try other combinations.. They've never said no yet... Japanese Pan Noodles: Slightly more filling, but not if you're a starving athlete. The dish is actually just a large side of Chow Mein. If they sold this as Chow Mein, I would clap out loud. Pretend you're ordering a side of Chow Mein. TIP: if you're hungry with a friend, get 2 dishes and then split a side of Chow Mein aka Japanese Pan Noodles. The Indonesian Peanut Saute: I dont know where to start. Someone is a racist idiot. First of all, Indonesia is known for SATE, aka skewered flame grilled meat. These noodles seemed boiled. Hint: Dish includes broccoli, which doesnt exist in Indonesia. I want to slap someone, seriously. Dish was bland: Indonesian food is known for its sharp head-imploding spiciness. The peanut sauce and sprouts are imitating Gado-Gado..? (Which is closer to a chef salad than the plate of noodles they dumped it on). The Indonesian staple is rice, noodles are from the Chinese and North...but we already established that the plane has crashed. Please, leave this dish on the bottom of the ocean where it belongs. Sidenote: it's slightly spicy, and I wouldn't order it again due to blasphemy and racism.

This place would be amazing ... if it were a cafeteria in a desolate antarctic outpost. That way they could justify the prices, blandness, and overall musty interior. We found a table that was only a little munged. All the noodles were edible, but only just. The steak, however, wasn't up the that standard.

Unimpressed. I ordered the penne rosa pasta and my husband ordered the pot stickers. Both of which looked as if they were sloppily thrown together and old. Was luke warm in temperature, and it looked as if someone had ripped apart a chicken breast with their hands into 3 pieces and threw it on my food. While finishing ordering, the cashier handed me back my card and started yelling over me what the next person in line wanted. The staff members could care less if you came in or not, they'd probably prefer to not have to work. Sad to leave such a review, customer service is everything!

From out of town.. Ok for the price.. Wouldn't come again.. Half the restaurant is filled the other half is ALL dirty tables and filthy floors... With 5 employees socializing behind the counter.. Has been this way for half an hour.. Finally someone complains and they start clearing tables.. I get that it's not a 'high-end' place but the staff is way too casual and no one seems to take pride in what's going on.. Not worth the risk coming back..

I have ordered the Japanese Dan Dan noodles and the Thai curry. Both are okay but nothing to write home about. The food was bland and unexciting. On my first visit it seemed like a pretty chill place. Both figuratively and literally. The first time I ended up sitting outside because it was just too cold inside. The second time we stayed inside but I had to go to the car a grab a jacket before the food came. The staff is friendly although a bit forgetful. On my second visit they forgot to even make one of our orders. We patiently waited for over 20 minutes after the first orders came. We at first thought maybe that order was more difficult. Then we noticed that everyone that had come in after is already had their meals. We went back to the counter to ask about the meal and all we got was a "whoops." Seriously, not even an apology. Not exactly planning on a third visit.

First and last time we eat here... I really wanted to give this place more than one star.. I had the spaghetti and meatballs.. Super dry super bland super blah.. The meatballs are pre made Costco probably has better frozen meat balls than this place , my daughter had the Mac n cheese with meatballs and she said hers was dry as well, hardly any sauce and pretty bland. BUT if you like tomato basil soup, this one was pretty good so was the cheesy garlic bread.. That's it..just wasn't impressed enough to give this place a second chance.. One and done ...

I really liked this place. My boyfriend and I were visiting from out of town and came here twice. Both times I got the Alfredo MontAmore with chicken. Sooo good! My boyfriend got the Spicy Chicken Caesar with tomato bisque, probably one of the best tomato bisques I've tried. Also don't forget to try the cheesy garlic bread! I wish they would open one of these in LA!

  • Kara N.

Not too bad. I got their pad Thai and it did not disappoint. Their large portion was just a little more than I could handle, so I would recommend getting a small. Their Mac and cheese is great, especially if you're the kind of person that likes the real deal versus the boxed stuff.

I had the pad tai for lunch and let's just say I had no desire to finish it. The restaurant is clean which is always nice but I would stray away from the pad tai, maybe get the Japanese pan or Wisconsin Mac.

The food here is good, but the service is not. Seems to be just a bunch of college kids that are not attentive. The manager seemed great but I'm a regular (because I work nearby) and he is the only one that gives good service. I know it's just fast casual but at the register they don't seem to care much. Food is good though.

I went here for lunch with my sister earlier today. Although the menu is hardly extensive, everything sounded so good that we had trouble making a decision on what to order. We ended up deciding on three different shall dishes to share. The Japanese udon noodles were delicious with crunchy vegetables and a hint of spice. The pesto cavatappi was also tasty, although maybe a tad dry. However, the real highlight was the mac and cheese - creamy, gooey goodness. I would have given five stars, but the service left a bit to be desired. They weren't rude, just slightly inattentive. The girl at the cash register asked for our order but stayed talking to her friends before we could speak.

I would hover between 2 and 3 stars here. It's fine for what it is, so going in with your expectations in place means you won't love it or hate it. It's just kind of a quick place to grab a bite if you're out, not a destination. I would steer clear of the dishes professing globally influenced flavors. They won't live up to your expectations. My favorites (and I don't venture) are the basic flavors. The Penne Rosa is a little spicy with fresh spinach and tomatoes. The Parmesan chicken is fine with it. The pesto cavatappi is similarly decent, though you may be inclined to ask for extra sauce as they're pretty stingy. Husband likes the Mac and cheese. I've tried it. It's good. I would never recommend this place as a great dining experience, but it's clean, it's predictable, and it's inexpensive.

I loved getting the steak stroganoff it's my favorite to get. Parking is good if you don't go rush hour. The service is pretty good. Overall great place 4/5

Here I am again, wanted my Mom to try a new place she doesn't have in her small town. The food was good but barely warm. The place was filthy and had no clean tables. We had to ask to get a table cleared for us than had to ask someone while to wipe it off, as the first person wouldn't. No more will this be my go-to place. Bad management!

    (2)
  • Blake H.

This place isn't as great as it used to be. Food is usually still awesome, but the employees have become horrible at bussing tables, and the place always smells like dirty rags. Food is a 5 (on a good day), service a 2, and cleanliness a 1. Guess their new store manager isn't as awesome as their last. Back then it was 5 stars all around.

    (2)
  • Edward D.

The food was good and hot. But, nothing about my dining experience was rrmarkable. I just couldn't see the value in what I ordered for the price I paid. I probably won't go back, as there are so many dining choices in the area.

  • Lelani S.

Love noodles. This is the only location I've been to but the customer service is amazing. Got a free birthday bowl and when I went in, the girl gave me a free Rice Krispie treat too. I know it's small, but that kind of customer service matters to me. Previously, I ordered something on the phone to go and when I showed up I had to wait...at most ten minutes. The manager apologized and offered me a free drink/dessert. Makes me come back. Not to mention the food is delicious and fresh. The penne rosa is amazing

    (5)
  • Aaron S.

Get the penne rosa. its awesome. Taste good, and I leave there paying less than 15 dollars for me and a date. They have a winning formula. The mac and cheese is also awesome. it'll put you in a coma, but its worth it.

  • Kristen S.

My experience with noodles and company is ok enough to go back, but one thing that really bothers me is how stingy they are on their sauce. Come on! That's the best part. Noodles without enough sauce is just dry and sticky. Also, they seem to be really under-staffed on busy weekends. Last weekend I went in and waited 30 minutes for my take-out, got in my car, realized they forgot one if the meals, went back in and waited 30 minutes again for what they forgot. I ordered extra sauce that came in a separate container with a lid and LITERALLY they have me 1/2 TEASPOON of sauce. Enough to cover 2 noodles maybe. It was a joke. Like I said- stingy with the sauce. I couldn't believe I paid $1.00 for that amount of "extra" sauce. Oh and the steak is really chewy. Like it's almost fake or a dog treat haha. Don't get it.

I'm looking forward to going back to Noodles & Co. to try more of the menu! Thus far I've had the beef stroganoff and the spaghetti and meatballs and they were delicious. Great portion size for the price, made when you order so it comes out piping hot, and the staff has always been polite and helpful. I'm looking forward to see if the asian dishes stack up with the best pad thai in the county (found at Thai Evergreen, for the record).

How long must one wait for food. If your in a hurry don't come here... When I finally got my food it was Barely warm but I didn't want to send it back because I had waited so long for my food. This is my second time and it's just always a wait. They have a lot of drink choices which is nice.

    (2)
  • Jerry P.

So I get my very dry bowl of pesto noodles, I ask them for more sauce, they proceed to tell me it will be $1 plus tax for more, what a freaking JOKE!!!!!!!

I heard there mac & cheese was amazing unfortunately I don't agree. I felt like it was a tad bit better then Kraft mac & cheese. Don't get me wrong I tend to like Kraft if it's $1! I felt like it was over priced for the amount I got. I also heard its better when you add meat to it. I probably would not recommend those place but all fare ness I would need to give it another shot.

Maybe it was just this location or maybe I've just had enough of Noodles... but my experience eating here last Saturday was disappointing. Having eaten at Noodles all around town I'm not stranger to their menu of entrée options. When I ate at this location in Orem my noodles were barely warm and the chicken was overcooked. Maybe it was an off-day for the cooking staff, I don't know, but I've had better and expect more from Noodles.

Thought to myself, "What could I have for lunch?" Noodles & Company was the first thing that came to mind! By the way, this was my first time going here... Had the Bangkok Curry (Sweet coconut curry, broccoli, carrots, red bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, a light portion of rice noodles, served on cabbage with black sesame seeds) w/ Chicken Breast. Delicious!! For the price, definitely worth it.

Been here twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. I don't have any reason to believe that this place is any worse, or better, than the other ones. Take world cuisine, dumb it down to the lowest denominator and add salt and sugar. You've got a winner going by the number of people there the other night. It didn't seem many of them were using the BOGO offer I received in the mail, so they must actually like the place. The first time I tried a Thai curry. Even by local standards, it was overly sweet, mild to bland and did not taste like curry. This time I went for the beef stroganoff. It was better. The pasta wan't mushy. The flavor wasn't overly sweet. It wasn't really stroganoff, but I doubt most people know or care. It's better than the versions of the dish by the same name in the frozen food section, or the one people make with campbell's cream of mushroom soup. So why care. Given that criteria, it didn't offend. It didn't give any joy either. It appears that they've got a great idea. Keep a tray of chicken and beef cooked. Have several pots of pasta. Have several trays of sauce. Take one from tray a, pot b, tray c. Throw on a little garnish. You've got everything from comfort food and Asian food to Italian food. None of it particularly good, but none terribly offensive.

Very good food for the price. Filling, tasty and quick! We are definitely coming back! Not the most amazing noodles you've ever had, but really good for the price.

Like someone else said, this place is very Americanized, so don't go in expecting super authentic cultural dishes or particularly spicy food. That said, they've got a great selection with plenty of things to try, pretty much any kind of noodles can think of, a few different salads, and several kinds of mac & cheese (the homemade kind, with real melty cheese, not the stouffer's kind.) The seasoning is unfortunately on the bland side, but you get plenty of food for the price, it's like a home cooked meal. Their customer service is excellent, very friendly and helpful and super quick service to boot. Great place for a hearty but inexpensive takeout meal.

My boyfriend and I came here last night to try out their noodles. I absolutely love noodles of most types so how could I not try this place out? The place is kinda trendy and it looked clean. With an inviting menu and friendly staff, I was thinking: "Hey, this place seems really cool. I'll probably be a regular." To my disappointment, the food was a let-down. I tried the Bangkok Curry while my boyfriend tried the Indonesian Peanut Sauté. The Bangkok Curry basically tasted like a sweeter Pad Thai, however it wasn't very flavourful. The Indonesian Peanut Sauté tasted more sour than peanutty. The chicken we added to both noodle dishes were basically just plain pan fried without being marinated in any way. Both dishes just left us feeling that the food was awfully boring and bland. Now if this was the only thing with it, I'd have given it up to a 3 star. You don't really go to a chain expecting authentic food, especially not at $7.25 a bowl. However both me and my boyfriend got home and within a couple to a few hours...well sparing gross details, let's just say our tummies were quite unhappy (and that was the only time we ate together during the entire day). So I can't really feel comfortable in recommending this place to anyone with that kind of experience. :S

I love noodles and company. Yes the all the dishes may not be the your favorite but thats why they have their guarantee. If you don't like it let them know and they will replace it for free until you do. Not many restaurants will do this. If you don't tell them about your bad experience then that is your problem. If you do let them know they will fix it! Love their Penne rosa with the parmesan crusted chicken! Yum!

Awesome service! Awesome food! Customer service was unmatchable. Very clean, even the bathrooms. Didn't skimp on the shrimp either. We had a buy one get one free (from signing up with their fan club) coupon and I'm suprised that they were still so nice. She (Janet I think her name was) was so nice and direct with us about what was the best way to get what you pay for.

I went to Noodles & Co for the first time yesterday and was very pleased. It was clean and the decor was "trendy", for lack of a better word. I got the Bangkok Curry and was very pleased with it. It's a great place for vegetarians (I got tofu on my dish instead of meat), and the food arrived very quickly.

Good food for a chain. Worth eating here if you're looking for vegetarian options because they can make almost everything vegetarian. Decent number of menu options. Fast service. Good food, though everything has been Americanized, so don't come expecting authentic Japanese or Thai or . . . .

Oh Noodles, you never fail me. I love going to Noodles whenever I'm in the mood for any type of noodle dish (hence the name). They have Mediterranean noodles, Asian noodles, American noodles, etc. My personal favorite is the Pad Thai. While I'm no expert on pad thai, I definitely enjoy what Noodles has to offer. The Penne Rosa is pretty good as well, and a friend of mine will definitely swear by it. The woman that helped me during my last visit didn't have much of a personality, but she got the job done. Nothing bad enough to lose any stars. The cups they give you for your drink are freaking huge, and they offer Fresca, which is something you don't see very often around here. May I suggest picking up a rice krispies treat on your way out? They're huge and gooey...definitely hit the spot. I don't care if you're full, take it to go and eat it later. That's all!

The food was good and hot. But, nothing about my dining experience was rrmarkable. I just couldn't see the value in what I ordered for the price I paid. I probably won't go back, as there are so many dining choices in the area.

Get the penne rosa. its awesome. Taste good, and I leave there paying less than 15 dollars for me and a date. They have a winning formula. The mac and cheese is also awesome. it'll put you in a coma, but its worth it.

Yum!

That's all!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
