I love Krispy Kreme. LOVE. I mean, not bordering on obsession, it's a full-blown obsession. I've been to probably more than 50 of their stores in four different countries. This is the one with the worst service I've ever been to, I think. 1. We called to ask if the the Hot Light was on. They avoided answering the phone the first couple times we called, and then answered and said "the Hot Line goes on at 4 PM" (it was after 4PM when we called), and repeated that verbatim when I asked if that meant it was on now. The tone was really rude and brusque. When we got there, at nearly 5 PM, it wasn't on after all. 2. When we finally got to our place in line (they were super busy, and didn't have enough staff on), they were out of hot doughnuts. But only because they had been oddly boxing up literally dozens of boxes of the hot ones and setting them to the side. I assumed these were for drive through orders, but I found this not to be the case once I got to the front. I've literally NEVER seen this maneuver at any other store, which makes sense; why box up the doughnuts you have a huge long line for, but then insist on keeping them to the side? We asked if we could have a box of the recently boxed doughnuts, and the overmatched employee just looked somehow stunned that I would ask, and said she'd have to ask her manager, who apparently said no. All in all, really poor service, insufficient staffing levels and head-scratching sales practices made this either the worst or second-worst (the other in the running was when another store in TX had completely undercooked the doughnuts, and they were gross and rubbery) experience I've ever had at a Krispy Kreme.

Krispy Kreme doughnuts are The best! Especially when the Hot Now sign is on. It is consistently, melt in your mouth delicious! I am never disappointed. My favorite is the original but maple and chocolate are good too.

This place is really scrumptious. ALWAYS GO when the hot sign is on! They've gotten a little Stingy with the samples, but take what you can get! The original glazed are where it's at--go when they are fresh. They have added lots of other different flavors---but those aren't my cup of tea. Overall, you want a donut? Go get one here.

Incredibly slow service for the amount of doughnuts they produce. I came here on a Wednesday night and stood in line for 30 minutes. Prices are steep, $7.99 for a dozen glaze. As for the quality of doughnut, they're delicious when hot. Average at room temperature. Overall, great hot doughnut, quite sub par service. Broken process

I love being able to watch the doughnuts being made. My favorite is still the Original glazed. I've tried a few flavors, I feel like most of them are hit or miss. Very cheap, about $1 or so per doughnut. Great location, right off the They have a drive-thru but I would recommend just walking in so you can see the variety. FYI: ALWAYS ask if they're serving HOT doughnuts. It's the best when it's fresh and hot.

We used to go to KK when we lived in Washington state. I had never been in there and not been able to order the original. I went to KK last month.they weren't busy. And the employees didnt even notice me as I stood and watched them pot their fingers into the frosting and fling it. When they saw me,they acted like 5 year olds, pretending nothing happened.while 1 helped me,the other 3 were finding other things to throw. I asked for the original, she said, they were completely out. I asked for a maple bar, they were out! FIRST TIME IN 6 years of KK,they had never been without them. I went last night walking home with my daughter. I recognized 2 from my previous visit. This time, there were no original, key lime and creme filled. Hmmmm, second time EVER! She said they were supposed to have started a new batch an hour ago,but no one wanted to make them! She apologized, but it was easy to tell she wasnt sorry about anything! Hope you read this kK. u should keep an eye on some of your staff.

I love Krispy Kreme just as much as the next person and I was so excited to come here because I do not live by one, but this one was awful. I would expect that on most Saturday mornings, hot fresh doughnuts would be available at some point, but as I was running errands around the store, the light was never on. The woman who worked the drive-thru was completely unaware of anything on the menu, and failed to answer questions that I had. They were out of vanilla coffee syrup, and the iced coffee that I received was a yellowish color, and had more creme than coffee. At the bottom there was a layer of coffee grains. Our doughnuts were nowhere near warm, and were hard and old. Needless to say, I will not be going to this Krispy Kreme for my future doughnut needs.

Free donuts when the hot and ready sign is on! Also Free donuts for good grades! Bring your kids report card in and get up to 6 FREE donuts for good grades. The staff is always warm and friendly. They make the best donuts in my opionion.

I have vivid memories of this flagship location first opening. It was flat-out pandemonium. Back then, a Krispy Kreme visit was planned days in advance. Similar to the In-N-Out mania which we felt prominently in our backsides just a couple of years ago, Krispy Kremania has seemingly ran its course. They've now closed most of their Utah locations, with Orem and Layton remaining (and possibly an airport spot?). No doubt there are far better donuts to be had (even in Utah County) around nearly any corner. KK still stands a small test of time, producing a couple highly edible varieties of the sweet circle. My personal favorites (a.k.a. the only ones I would ever eat at KK) are: - the original glazed (for what it is, it's pretty good - warm only) - Dulce de Leche sugared Bismark (with coffee; in the event your sweet-tooth is feeling neglected) - glazed Cruller (will do in a pinch) Yup, that's it. Everything else - in particular, anything chocolate frosted - is pretty meh in my book. Waxy chocolate and other toppings fall flat, and frankly do not earn any gastro-real estate. KK donuts are every bit as mass-produced as an In-N-Out burger - no lovin' from the oven. Millions served, hundreds satisfied.

For me a review is about service, variety, value and quality of product as well as cleanliness of the establishment. Since this place opened it hits it on the head. Not to mention that they are the only game in town. The main reason I go is that every time it brings a smile to my kids faces as they watch the donuts being made. It's a double bonus if you go in between 6-11am or from 5-10pm as they will give everyone in your group a hot free donut while they box up your order. Gotta love free.

Best place to buy treats for clients! I've been coming here for the last couple years a few times a week and have had a great experience consistently with all staff members. Not to mention the donuts are the best!

Great service and a clean location, but I dislike the doughnuts themselves: Krispy Kreme donuts are overly sweet, with sugar caked on and very little chewy dough. Local supermarkets that also bake their own typically have a better product.

Drove all the way out there to get Blueberry Cake donuts and they had NONE!!! And, to make matters worse, the customer service rep at the window had "no idea" when they would make more. And, their "hot" glazed we're NOT hot despite the lit sign. My dog makes better donuts than they do.

This is where I gets my coffee when I'm in the area. I went in the other day for a coffee and a donut, and the lady bagged one donut for me, and handed me another for free. Pretty cool - the place was dead - no one was in there (it was wicked early) so I thought it was nice she still did the free-donut thing. Surprisingly good coffee and a couplea donuts from here = heaven.

Can you say FAT! Can you say Heart Attack! Eat here and that's about all you'll end up getting. Airy doughnuts off the grease pit that they roll though, but the fat chicks love it! I haven't seen this many fat chicks, since.... well, I dont know where I've seen more fat chicks, that right here in Utah county! Eat up! There's more to love!

Well this morning we woke up and decided to have some donuts for breakfast. So we went to the Krispy Kreme location in Orem. We had a couple Maple bars one was about twice the size of the other but that's okay because I have that one and my son have the smaller one. I was looking for maybe an eggs and bacon donut sandwich but, the menu essentially was donuts only of course. It was fun to see the machine get the donuts into the grease as they emerged the machine then flip them to the backside. The back of sugary goodness only Excited my appetite further. Needless to say I pounded a couple, had a diet Dr Pepper and called it a day!

Did you really think you would find the words fiber, low calorie, heart healthy on the menu of a donut joint? Did you?? Come on.. its a freaking donut joint!!! If you dont know what a donut place serves, you really should not be allowed in public unsupervised. Sugar, grease, and flour combine beautifully to produce a non-nutritional yet delicious doughnut. Yes, if you happen to there when they make them (hint, the red sign is lit) you are in for a treat. Their is always a promotional (donut of the month) but the basic glazed will always win out. Buy them cold? Stick them in the microwave for 10-15 seconds and its *almost* like it had just been made. The coffee is actually pretty good.. not great, but within the realm of morning delight. One drawack (and for this, a star)... a glazed donut is a buck. Thats a bit much!

I agree with what some other reviewers have said, you must get them while hot, otherwise they taste like frosted crisco. There is better out there. you can check out my other reviews to find out which ones I believe are better.

Have you been to Krispy Kreme before? Congrats, you're fat like me and know exactly what to expect. When this place opened, it shut the city down (thats how lame Utah County is), but after years and years things are normal and you can get donuts here. Isn't that what you wanted?

So my brother was always talking about how great Krispy Kreme doughnuts are. While I agree that they are good, I will not grant that they are worlds apart than the ones you can get at your local market --- *unless* (and this is key) you get them right off the line in the store. What struck me as amazing though, was that my brother had always bought them from a third party reseller. Cold. I insisted that he did not know the half of how good they were if he had not tried them fresh out of the oil. Once he tried them piping hot he had to agree. The bakeries give a free sample to each person that walks in. The doughnuts are so light and fluffy they melt in your mouth. Its like doughnut-shaped cotton candy. Its pretty cool to see the assembly line behind the glass. Ignore the oily wrench in the corner. Be careful or you will spend 50 bucks easy.

This store is always open, 24-7! Like other Krispy Kremes, they have a HOT NOW sign when their doughnuts are fresh. They are efficient and usually have all of the various flavors available all day.

I love coming here! Whenever I come from the Provo airport I always stop this Krispy Kreme before heading home. They always have fresh doughnuts and a great selection to choose from. I would recommend the glazed, sour cream glazed (I know it sounds a bit weird but it's so good, I was hesitant but another customer convinced me to try it stating it was amazing!), and the maple glazed. Also, they will always give a free doughnut to eat while you are waiting in line.

If you call and listen to their message the hot light hours go to nine pm. We got there at 8:25. The hot light was off. We asked the woman working if their hot light hours went to nine, she said that they really turn it off at 8:30. We asked if they were still hot then, since it wasn't even 8:30, she said no. These people seriously struggle. Maybe they should hire some employees who can tell time?

Small over cooked doughnuts. Every time I have a Krispy doughnut is is wonderful, not this time they sold me a box that had doughnuts half the size and over cooked. I called and the employee said "ya sometimes they don't turn out good"... What a joke

Love their doughnuts! Love their employees and service. Always accurate. Worth every penny and calorie! I wish the store near my home in Salt Lake was still open, but fortunately I'm in Orem often. They have seasonal flavored, fund raiser cards, free tours, birthday specials, etc. Open 24/7. Can't get any better.

What is there to say about Krispy Kreme. They are seriously like the best donuts around. Unless your not too into the whole melt in your mouth experience. I wont hold it against you at all. The biggest down size is that they are located so far away. I drive down from South Jordan to get myself a box of this amazing goodness. And because of the distance I can't get my donut fix as often as I would like... well maybe thats actually a good thing cause I would be tempted to get a donut every day :D With regards to service, come on ppl, this is a donut place not a 4 star restaurant. Plus I have never had to wait in line. Everytime I go their is no line and I just order and go. Piece of cake. Tip: Free donut when their sign light is on!!! Means donuts are coming out of the oven!
