I love the food, it's amazing. The meat is at an astounding taste, the salad bar is phenomenal. They come quickly with the meat and the waiter at the restaurant gives excellent service. I always come in here and it excellent!!! My only complaint: The hostess was mean, we had reservations for 8:00 that day, and she told us there were too many people that were ahead of us. She wouldnt even seat us, and we waited for about 45 minutes. We decided to ask another hostess and she seated us right away. That shouldn't happen if we made reservations beforehand.

The service really is a hit and miss. My husband and I was sitting close to the grill and guy preparing the meat was rude as possible, cursing and throwing the f** bomb every 2 minutes yelling on the others employees. Off course I was more terrified than people around me because I believe i was the only Portuguese speaker. How come people feel so comfortable saying whatever they want just because they think nobody else speak a second language but them? We payed our bill and left. Very unpleasant experience! I went to Braza Grill many other times sometimes before .Some was better than others but after last visit on Saturday, August 22nd, I don't think we are going back anymore. I am giving 3 stars based on the last 10 years I've been there. The owner is a very nice person its a shame his employees doesn't follows his steps.

This place was delightful, great for people who love meat! I really loved their garlic steak and chicken. All of the staff there were so nice and friendly. The owner even stopped by to see how everything was. I think that was a very nice touch. I have been to other brazilian grills like Rodizio Grill and Tuscanos, which are more expensive and I personally think Braza was better and cheaper! They have more variety of meat and I just really enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the music going on. I didn't really care too much for the buffet, but I was there for the meat anyways and once the buffet was restocked, I thought it was better. Only recommendation would be to make sure and keep the buffet stocked.

Good Brazilian restaurant if you want lots of good options buffet style. They cater for events or you can buy extra things to take home. Somewhat expensive.

My first time dining here. I really loved their meats here better then Tucanos. It was so flavorful and yummy. I will definitely start going here more often.

Take $50 out of your pocket and burn it. Or go here. Same thing. Worst service and food ever. The hostess was rude and ignorant from the first minute. The waitress was aloof and seemed like everything else was much more important than her job. The guys with the meats have to be summoned because they can't be bothered, and even with us trying o get service, we got them to come by twice. Twice! Do no patronize this establishment. It blows my mind that they are still in business. Meats were over salted and over cooked. Salad bar is rotten. Staff are even worse. We left with such a bad taste in our mouth, from both the food and the service. Never. Again.

My husband and I were pretty skeptical at first, but decided to try Braza Grill because there was a Groupon. We were pleasantly surprised, to say the least! Though not as large as some of its competitors, the items they served were very high quality and authentically prepared. Our server, Guiovani, was very friendly and eager to please! The only disappointment was that the amazingly delicious Brazilian lemonade was not bottomless :( Go for the top sirloin, stay for the broccoli au gratin.

Very disappointed, it cost just as much as any other Brazilian steak house but had a very limited selection of meats to choose from and most of the meats they where offering did not taste better than something you could grab in a grocery store.. don't waste your money. 30 bucks wasted!!

Had lunch here with a group. We came a little before the typical lunch time to avoid any rush and we were seated right away. It took a little while for the meat to start making the rounds, it made me think they want you to fill up on salad first. When the meat started arriving I was a bit disappointed in the bite size portions of meat that they cut for you, so I knew we would be here awhile. The meat was just ok. Most of the meat was fatty, overcooked and much of it tasted similar. The meat tasted like cheaper, lower quality cuts and some of it tasted like it sat in the fridge for a week before cooking.

In my humble opinion........ The reason Braza Grill has been in the SLC area for nearly ten years is because they've focused on a "type of churrascaria" that we find in many parts of the interior of Brasil, from the states of Goias to Minas Gerais. This is what I would call a "Blue-Collar" restaurant. Void of the corporate input, and privately owned by a gentleman from Sao Paulo, it provides rodizio style dining, without the pretense I find in the $50 per client churrascarias around the US. Braza consistently delivers "economical Brasilian dining" with a good salad bar selection that any Brasileiro would recognize and appreciate. Can you pay more in town and get more? Yes. But if you know the many levels of churrascarias that exist in Brasil, and you realize that not all are going to be like Fogo de Chao... than you'll be "way-OK" with Braza. Our family is Brasilian-American, and we travel home often. In Goiania, near one of my brother in law's homes, there's a restaurant around the corner from his condo that is nearly identical to Braza, and has a very similar BBQ area, with a large salad bar. The difference there is that you pay by the "Kilo", which is great. You can load up on all the meat you want, along with a huge salad bar selection. If Braza were to offer "by the Kilo"...... I bet they'd still do very well. And maybe even better? These "by the kilo" restaurants are very popular lunch-diners, and do a huge noon-hour business. FYI ... just remembered when yelp-chatting with fellow yelper Rohlin... When in Los Angeles, check out "Pampas Grill" at the Farmer's Market-The Grove, Fairfax and 3rd St. It's a "pay by the kilo/pound" style Brasilian open-air cafe'. (see the yelp reviews) As others have shared, Braza is casual and family friendly. I noticed a renovation from the very first visit I made on a business trip shortly after they opened. I like the new layout, and very much enjoyed seeing the owner run the BBQ area. His gauchos/servers were highly attentive this Wednesday at 630pm, and we were "wanting for nothing" as far as the meats were concerned. In summary, I certainly would recommend Braza to any of our family or friends visiting the SLC area.

Don't come here expecting Texas de Brazil or Fogo De Chao because you can't dine at either of those restaurants for under $20. This Brazilian BBQ joint is a cozy (family owned feeling but I don't know if it is) little restaurant with a smaller salad bar but still a good selection of meats. From the salad bar, I really liked their salmon pasta salad, fried polenta, and fried yuca! Out of all the meats, I thought the garlic steak, sausage, ham, and chicken were the best. They had 3 different kinds of chicken which is awesome because a friend who went with me didn't eat beef.

Went on a Friday night which included live music which just enhanced the chill, sophisticated vibe of the restaurant. I had only been to Texas de Brazil in Vegas, and frankly, for $20 I wasn't expecting too much. Reading some of the other reviews on Yelp, I noticed that there were complaints about the service, or lack thereof. Whether I went on a good night or the management has made a concerted effort to improve service, I was very very impressed with the service. The servers were prompt and even remembered whether we preferred the meat cooked medium rare or medium. Even who I believed to be the owner went from table to table and asked how the service was and what improvements could be made. The food itself was also fantastic. We sampled just about everything and requested an order of lamb. Top 5 meats: Top Sirloin, Spicy Chicken, Grilled Chicken, Turkey wrapped in Bacon, and Ham. Both of the chickens were unbelievable. A little salty, but the tenderness and flavor were amazing. The grilled pineapple and lamb were also highlights. My experience at Braza Grill was nothing short of exceptional. The quality and variety of meats falls short of that at Texas de Brazil, but service is just as good. However, when it comes to value, I don't think there's any competition. For 40% of the price at Braza, I can get superior service and an experience/quality of meat almost as good.

The worst customer service ever. We tried to go there for lunch twice. On both occasion, we were told to wait for the hostess. We waited for at least 20 minutes and on both occasion, nobody bothered to ask if we were helped. The restaurant is not even busy on both times. Never ever going back again. Rude people.

I loved going here. Take the churrasco style and add the feel of a mom and pop operation. Our server, Giovanni was very attentive to our needs and prompt wig any requests. The food was fantastic and fresh.

Great quality and great atmosphere. If you want authentic and fresh Brazilian food, skip the chains and go here. It feels like they brought Brazil here with grandma in the back cooking up a storm and dad on the grill. Try everything! Ask for the lamb and chicken hearts, too!

First off - I'd like to congratulate Braza Grill for being my 100th review. I know it's a great honor so I'll try to keep this memorable. I didn't have any of the negative experiences that were highlighted in the previous reviews. The hostess was prompt and friendly and cute, the server was fine. She refilled our water once and checked on us 3 times - goes with industry standard. Once to make sure food is ok, once to refill beverages and an extra for the check. I didn't find the Meat Men (ooooh yeah) to be lazy at all! They were super fast and efficient. We almost never were wanting for their long thick meats. On that note, the meats were good. Some were fantabulous, and some were MEH. My husband liked the glazed ham and the sirloins the best. I rather enjoyed the spicy chicken. I found out that I like fried bananas - and that's were my enjoyment of the buffet deal ended. I really didn't like anything I got from that. My husband said the mashed potatoes were decent. Since neither of us have had Brazilian Food, we have nothing to compare it to so I apologize for that. So A for effort and service. I think that buffet needs work and the price is way to high. For the two of us and one beverage it was $52. My husband mentioned that he would've rather had the cheese cake factory for that price and he felt this was more of a $35 for two price range. He was also not impressed with my $5 coconut limeade. I thought it was good it he thought it was gross. But the man hates fruit so I don't know how trustworthy his opinion is on anything that isn't Meat, Gluten or Dairy. I will conclude by saying you should give this place a shot if you're feeling like changing things up and you have 50 bucks you wanna blow. This place would probably suit a first date perfectly!!!!

This review is based off two visits that differ. Visit one was okay and would've warranted a 3-4 star. Visit two was egregious, definitely tried my patience and would've warranted a 2 star. Food here is pretty good. The meats, for the most part tend to be good. Not the best I've had but pretty good. Hot food from the buffet again can be good, though I have run into issues where items were left empty for long periods of time. The salad bar is okay. Service, even when its good, is slow. The guys that bring the meat around are on their game. The waitresses can be borderline incompetent. While this is an isolated event, it definitely speaks towards their service IQ or lack there of. There was giant fiasco with a large group that was trying to pay with groupons. While shit happens and I totally understand, there is no reason that it should take all members of the waiting staff to addresses. And even if it was that large of a disaster, you could seat me and than return to the issue instead of making me wait in the foyer for 20-30 minutes and forcing me to seat myself. Price, not terrible, but it's high enough combined with the lack of service that will warrant me not to return again. My experiences may be isolated incidences but I don't see a reason why I wouldn't pay a bit more and head to a better Brazilian joint.

One of our favorite places to eat at!!! We love most of the meats as long as they are not rare! The atmosphere is great and there is always good coming by. Our favorite is the grilled pineapple it's delicious!!!

  • Marjorie M.

Absolutely love this restaurant. Not only does the food taste amazing, the staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel very welcome. Their salad bar is great and the meat is outstanding. Make sure you try the pão de queijo (cheese balls) and chicken hearts. They will not disappoint I promise. I'm Brazilian myself and I was definitely not disappointed. They had all of the essentials and more. If you're trying to get a taste of Brazilian food or you simply are craving some delicious bbq/meat this is definitely the place to go with! Not only that, they are far more affordable than the other Brazilian steakhouses around Salt Lake. You get amazing food without the $$$$$ price tag!

Took my wife here for mothers day! We didn't want to get a sitter for the 2 year old. No problem! We have been here 3 times now, the waitresses are always good with the wee one. They keep our drinks full. Cooks walk around with grilled meat (and grilled pineapple) to our dining pleasure, (my favorite is the spicy (buffalo?) chicken, least favorite is the sausage... Love the pineapple). The salad and entree bar is great! I mostly go for the fried bananas, and fruit there. Not everything there is appealing to me, but there is enough variety that that doesn't matter, what I don't like, someone else will. I'd maybe dock a star for not having many salad bar options that stand out to me. Friday is cool for the live music!!! Cost is less than similar Brazilian restaurants in town! I'll be back!

A lot of meat for your buck here. Worth the $20 price tag. They got beer and wine too but the Brazilian drinks we tried were just okay not worth the price I thought. The place was extremely busy the night we went there so it took longer than usual for the servers to bring stuff from the grill to the table. It seemed like we were "dodged" many times and other tables were favored so it took even longer. Salad bar had some hot food too but not much there for my interest. The variety of beef was limited. You got Top Sirloin either well done, medium, or rare but the same thing over and over it seemed. Or Top Sirloin again but with garlic all over it. The pork was not too juicy but the ham was very tasty. Chicken was a spicy almost buffalo taste. Go back here.......probably not soon. I like Ribeye, New York, & Filet Mignon like another place like this one had in S Carolina. Service was okay

Came here with a group of 7. Service was very attentive and pleasant. a good variety of meat's came our way cooked to perfection and very tasty. The whole party enjoyed the spicy chicken the best. Buffet was good quality, with a wide selection Well done Braza

Great Service and Friendly Staff. I love how they ask how you like your meat and remember to bring the doneness you request. Their Tenderloin and Sirloin are hard to beat. The owner is very friendly and always concerned to make sure you are doing well.

There's no more sure fire way to oust a closet vegan than a churrascaria, and Braza grill will provide you a budget friendly way to do so. Minus a few exceptions, I find that Braza is nearly on par in both taste and quality to Rodizio's at a fraction of the cost. The atmosphere is significantly more casual, but that may be what you want if you're looking for a low key night out. My only real gripe here is I notice distinct differences in the food every night I come. Some nights it's three stars, but more often it's four hence the rating. Inevitably there are some things that are better and other things that are worse. The last visit, for example, it was a week night and I can only assume the slower traffic meant the meat went back to the grill more resulting in some more over done meats. The pineapple however was stellar, better even than Rodizio's (don't bother mentioning Tucono's) making it the best in town (Texas de Brazil doesn't have grilled pineapple). Shame it's not always like this. Don't forget to request an order of chicken hearts (you'll likely be pleasantly surprised), they're off rotation but the staff gladly provides them at no extra cost. I suckered up this last time and got the guava shake. It tasted deliciously sweet, but the "diabeetus" flavor I suspect overrode the lighter flavor of guava. Really, every time I visit Braza I find something slightly different but I always leave happy and satisfied. NOTE: Groupon and Yelp regularly offer deals here and in-store there are often fun Valentine's date, etc. promos. Hop on these, they're likely the best way to experience a churrascaria here for the first time.

I love The Brazilian stroganoff. This price is good for the food. They just don't serve any alcohol, wine, or beer.. They're limemaids they have a pretty delicious!

  • Amanda F.

My experience here was great. My husband and I went there for our early Valentine's celebration. That was almost a week ago and my husband is still raving about the food. We had never been to a Brazilian grill before. We enjoyed the salad bar but only got one plate full of stuff because we wanted to try as much meat as we could. My favorite was the garlic steak. All their meat was tender and juicy. The grilled pineapple was so sweet and good. We would recommend it to anyone and we'll for sure be going back again.

Maybe I went on an off day. I came in on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch. We were seated right away (but at a dirty table) and it took a little bit of time for the server to come. The salad bar is plain and lack luster. They had meat balls and meat loaf at the salad bar, which ended up being better and more moist than the meat they came to the table with. The meat... meh. The cheese bread was dry and hard. We never got our drinks refilled either. Honestly I knew before coming here it was a low budget Brazilian steakhouse, but I didn't expect it to be on the lower end of low budget. Needless to say, I won't be coming here again. The "other" low budget Brazilian Grill is way better.

Given prior reviews, I had mediocre expectations. But the food was delicious, and the service excellent. I was very pleasantly surprised. I thought it was markedly better than the more expensive Brazilian places downtown. We will definitely be back.

Never, have I ever, been to a restaurant like this! I'm assuming this type of dining is specific to Utah, because I've never seen anything like it. You basically pay a flat price for your meal and are served at your table the entire time. Every kind of meat you can think of is brought directly to your table, sliced right in front of you, and extremely well prepared. I'm not a huge meat eater, but I loved this place. The staff was so friendly!! One of the waitresses talked me into trying chicken hearts.....................and I loved them!! :)

    (4)
  • Kristie H.

I loved this place. The waiters were friendly. The owner actually asked us at the end of our meal what we thought about the food, and what changes they could make to be better.....which shows he cares about his business. TIP: The chicken hearts are to die for!!! They are wildly popular and take awhile to cook, so order them shortly after your arrival. We ate at another Brazilian restaurant in the area and it was not as good. TIP: They have groupons for Braza all the time!

  • Brittney W.

Came in for a early dinner w/my hubby & 8 mo old. Owner told the hostess to seat us towards the back so we wouldn't be in the draft from the cold door opening (she had us near the front middle which with a high chair was a bad spot). We sat comfortably in a warm area and had some of the best Brazilian food we've ever had. The meat was spot on and the buffet options were equally good. We will most definitely be back.

  • Peigen M.

Went here expecting to grab a vegan breakfast before hitting the road. They didn't have breakfast fare on a Wednesday but they did have quite possibly the most amazing burrito I've ever consumed. After the burrito, I got a bunch of baked goods for the drive, as well as a red velvet latte. Everything was just divine.

    (4)
  • Tom L.

Very bad. The food is not that bad, but you wait and wait and it comes very very few meat options. I can compare with the worst level of this kind of restaurants in Brazil.

    (1)
  • Nicole B.

All around amazing! The service was enjoyable, salad bar had various items to choose from, and of course all the meats! I tried all but two, and even though I am not a huge meat person I still enjoyed all of them. The grilled pineapple though, was the absolute best! My favorite part of the night was when the owner (I think he was the owner?) came out and asked how everything was, and if there were any improvements he should know about. I couldn't think of any. One thing is for sure though, I will be going back for sure!

  • Kyle S.

Stopped in for lunch and it was pretty good. The buffet selection was amazing and the meat dudes kept coming. It was as good. I think I will go back.

Went in on a Thursday night and was disappointed in the food quality. At the hot side of the buffet the food looked and tasted like it was reheated from the day before and then had been sitting there for hours. The Alfredo pasta was a mushy greasy mess. Fried bananas were very soggy. The beef and pineapple coming around from the grill were similar to the buffet. Im not a picky eater at ALL... This was just VERY poor food quality. Sorry guys but I won't be coming back.

  • Ryan P.

My wife is Brazilian...and when we are looking for good Brazilian food in the Salt Lake area we always look to Braza Grill. Braza Grill combines a great atmosphere with some of the best, most authentic Brazilian food in the area. Both the salad bar and the churrasco (BBQ) meats are amazing! If you are looking for a Brazilian steakhouse...don't spend between $25 and $50 per meal at any of the other options in the area. At Braza Grill you can get all they have to offer (and more) for a better price!

    (4)
  • Amanda S.

They have a lot of choices and flavorful meats, but did not really bring me back to Brazil completely, that's why only 3 stars.

Braza is a great way to get cheaper Brazilian food. Braza provides an everyday affordable option to experience a churrascaria. I recommend going for lunch to get the best bang for your buck.

  • Ken C.

Ok, so I tried this place one more time. Then another. Then another. I will still stand by my first review. That experience just sucked. However upon return visits, the experience was so much better. I got tons of juicy meats and the servers are really chill people. I liked it MUCH better.

  • Daphne S.

This is one of my favorite spots. Each time I have dined here the food, service, and atmosphere have been expectional. The ambiance is comforting and I like that the staff are so attentive; the owner even checked up on us to make sure our experience was nothing but perfect. Dinner is on the pricey side but I willingly pay it every time without regrets.

This place has really gone downhill. It was really good a few years ago, we came today for my daughters birthday and were pretty disappointed. The service was really slow and the quality of the food was subpar. Burnt sausages

    (2)
  • Anita C.

Bananas over the fried banana. Couldn't get enough. But moving on- the salad bar had a ton of things to choose from. My faves- fried yuca, fried polenta, salmon pasta salad, and don't forget about those fried bananas. All the meats I tried were really good. Memorable ones being the grilled chicken, sausage, and ham. And they all went great with the grilled pineapple, so delicious! Loved the feel of the restaurant, and the service was great. Looking forward to going back.

For the price paid, it was an exceptional value. The pineapple and garlic steak were top choices for me. Service was outstanding!

We have been there four times before I decided to write a review. In our experience, the one thing that we can say is that this place has consistency. Every time the food and service have been great. We have been there in weekends, week nights, and late lunches;and the service and quality of food have been consistent. The last time we were there, the hostess had called in sick, thus they were scrambling a bit to cover all areas, and I do believe it was the owner that sat us. The only snafu was waiting for seating, once we were seated, the service was stellar like always. I am not a huge buffett person, honestly I only really eat the mashed potatos and maybe some fried banana, so in complete disclosure, I Will review the Salad bar from my husbands plate since I am sure that he has tried everything at least once. My husband served a missions in Brazil and is quite critical of food that claim to be from Brazil- in his opinion this is the best food in SLC for the price for this type of spot. I love the fact that the servers remember how well you like your meat cooked- and I have enjoyed everything that they have brought. The bacon wrapped turkey and the tenderloin are my favorite! The pork loin has been consistently dry, but that has also happened at other Brazilian steakhouses throughout SLC. The drinks are great, they will keep your glass full of water or soda. We tried the lime aides and piña colada's and they were great. Living social, groupon, and yelp often have a special running- I highly recommend trying this place with a groupon or something. I have no issues paying full price. But would rather get it for cheaper. I enjoy the more intimate feeling then Rodigio or Tucano's, and enjoy the life music on Friday nights. At most places that have live music, you are often overwhelmed by the music and can not hear the conversation- not so much at this place. The music is lovely background instead of overwhelming. Definnately give this place a go!

I love Brazilian food but this was by far the worst experience. The waiters were lazy and when they cut he near off it fell into my water and then the grease dropped on my shoulders. Disgusting!!!

If you are looking for a Brazilian BBQ and find yourself at Braza Grill I recommend trying the spicy chicken when it makes its way around.

  • Abinadi F.

I can see why so many of reviews are both bad and good. We got there a little before 6, and we were kind of the only ones there, so they were quite slow in serving us. So they definitely need to improve on that. I mean, you want to give US the experience of a lifetime! why? well so that we can refer our friends to go try it out. Once more people showed up though, they picked it up a lot! and the Server was very nice and thoughtful to what we wanted. THE FOOD, oh the food... Hands down best chicken I've had in a very, very long time in a place like this. Sirloin was delicious, sometimes overcooked, but it was very good after they asked us how we liked our meat cooked. I would come back because the place is very inviting...It's pretty, and that makes me, personally, like a restaurant. The only thing I wasn't very excited for was how expensive it was, given the variety in meats they offer, but it's a business and they have to make money as well. If you want to have a good night out with friends, family, spouse, or whoever in a small place, cozy, and not too crowded, go here. If you want a lot of meat, go to tucanos, they do have more of a variety.

    (3)
  • Zach S.

This place did not impress. Tucano's is the best Brazilian place in the valley, and Rodizio is not too bad. Braza grill was very limited on selection by comparison, and I didn't love the food that they did have.

    (1)
  • Autumn H.

Food is divine. However, I was not welcomed by anyone when I entered. Service was slow overall with the meat servers. My waitress was sweet and prompt. They would all collect in the corner and chat or eat or play with each others hair. Not appropriate for a restaurant.

    (3)
  • Krystal-Ann L.

They have the same variety on their salad bar and meats while still being a few dollars cheaper per person than Rodizio. They always have great deals available through Groupon as well.

    (4)
  • Vio R.

Love this place! Food personally seems to have a better touch compare to others Brazilian Restaurants around. We love going there staff is friendly, the only reason Im giving it 4 starts is because of the size of the restaurant. I recommend it if you are looking for good tasteful food and awesome atmosphere.

    (4)
  • Robert P.

Food was ok, then again what do you expect for 20 bucks. Salad bar is good and so are some of the items. If you like medium rare it might not be the best fit for you.

    (4)
  • Sergio F.

All meats were over cooked and tough. The buffet bar was not good. Nothing was fresh. The beef stroganoff was like soup with little meat. I didn't dare eat anything from the bar except lettuce. Even the tomatoes were wilted. We went there for dinner, I should have known something was not right, given there were only 3 tables including ours. Stay away! Goto Tucanos or Rodizio Grill.

When I first heard of Braza Grill, I remember there were quite a few of them throughout Utah, but on my last visit, this Murray location seems to be the only left that is still in business. I suppose that means they are doing some right here that other locations failed to do. The place feels the same as the first time I came here many years ago except I remember the fountain at the entrance were on and this time was off. There is a choice between the meat feast with salad bar and salad bar only. The salad bar consists of a selection of cooked side dishes and fresh veggies that goes well with your meats. As for the meat buffet, a person with freshly cooked meats come around every now and then during your meal. The frequency depends on how busy they are. They generally don't have exotic meats unless on special days unlike other places in town where you will find them regularly. But for the low price you paid compared to the other place, the regular meat such as beef, pork, chicken, and sausages were good enough for me. Plus we really just came for the pineapples, so meat was a secondary concern... The Braza Grill was always on my mind whenever we felt like eating tons of meat and have a taste of those yummy pineapples. The sodium intake from this meal was rather high, as most of the meat they served tasted quite salty, so I would advise those with heart problem to seek medical advices prior to coming here.

Decent. It isn't Rodizo but it's has some very solid items. The beef tenderloin always seems to be excellent. So if you're in the Murray area and don't want to commute all the way downtown to Trolley Square for Rodizo... And, you are feeling extremely carnivorous I would suggest stopping in at Braza.

The meat tasted like it was days old. The salad bar is subpar. In particular, I would expect that for the price they charge, one could expect fresh fruit at the salad bar. Not the case at Braza--it's clearly from a can of fruit cocktail. Excuse me? I can do that for myself at home. Do yourself a favor--spend your money at either Tucano's or Rodizzio's because you'll get MUCH more for your money, namely food that tastes good.

Horrible service! Just left this place after waiting for over 20 minutes for the hostess to show up, but she never did. The place was not full being that it is a Tuesday night.

Ended up getting a coupon so I gave this place a try on a Saturday afternoon. I thought the staff friendliness and service was good. The salad bar was missing green lettuce the first time I went to it. There were some other empty dishes as well at the salad bar such as the fried bananas, so it was a bit of a timing challenge to get something from the salad bar we wanted. The food we did get from the salad bar was good. The meat was very difficult to eat because of the excessive amount of salt. After a couple pieces I was unusually thirsty because of all the salt I just consumed. I almost wonder if it's a strategy to keep people from eating much food there because after a couple small pieces I felt overloaded on salt. But the salt was not the only problem, there seemed to be some issues with the way some of the meat was cooked. Some of It was overly cooked on the outside and just a little too rare on the inside. Beef was good since I don't mind it rare. One small piece of beef could have 3 layers of cookness very well done on the outside, medium rare and then very rare, which was kind of strange. One piece of Chicken might have been a little undercooked, but I'm not sure, it was hard to tell with all the salt.. In the case of the sausage it was just black crunchy on the outside and of course too salty. Even though the salad bar was tasty (when food was there) and the price with a coupon was good, it would be hard for me to go back because even for the value, it is just too disappointing to get meat that looks good, then is too salty and not cooked to perfection like it could have been.

Super fun place and awesome food! Complete with live music and great service. What really can be better than people bringing you all the meat you can eat? Probably nothing. And the salad bar/buffet thing was pretty good too.

Exceptional service. Great food at a great price! The top sirloin, spicy chicken and garlic steak were our favorites. The salad bar has great variety and everything seems fresh. I've been to the other Brazilian restaurants in town and this is by far my favorite!!!! Skip the hassle of parking downtown and the long lines at City Creek. This place rocks!

We have eaten at Brazilian restaurants all over the country. Favorites have included Texas de Brazil and Fogo de Chao. We were staying in Sandy, Ut, and saw that Braza Grill was located fairly close. I read the reviews here and they sounded like it was worth a try. The place is very nice with friendly staff. The salad bar wasn't as extensive as others but was very nice. The selection of meats was smaller than most but covered all the essentials. We both thought that the seasoning on the meat was much better than the other ones we have been to which usually salt them too much. Serving was quick and they made sure you got the meat cooked they way you wished. The price was outstanding - so much less than the competition. I wish we lived closer so we could go here more often.

Best Brazilian food in the area!! Having spent 2 years in Brazil their food is the most authentic compared to the other Brazilian places in the Salt Lake / Provo area.

The beef tenderloin was one of the best things I've ever eaten. Everything was good, but that was WOW!! Only bummer was they were out of iced tea, raspberry iced tea and root beer. Pretty much everything we ordered to drink. We'll be going back...did I mention the beef tenderloin??

Not as high quality as Rodizio's but cheaper and more comfortable. Rodizio's sounds like a war zone, this is a place you can actually sit and enjoy your meal without having to worry about getting tinitus. Food is done right, the variety is decent and the sides were tasty.

I go for lunch because I dont think i get my money's worth for dinner, how much meat can one eat? The lunch used to be 11.99 but its now 14.99. Salad bar is great and the hot food, when its hot, is great. The meat selection is good but not much selection. I think Rodizio is a lot better but if you are by fashion place and craving meat, its not bad.

One of our favorite destinations: food is good, service is friendly and the salad bar has something for everyone, including hot items. Desserts are delicious too!

Braza is about the best Brazilian all-you-can-eat place in Salt Lake. The meat is fresh and plentiful. They don't continually come around with chicken and grilled pineapple selections in order to fill you up on the cheap. The more exotic meats get equal play and the sausage is really good. The thing that really puts Braza in my top spot is the salad bar. Really fresh, yummy ingredients and a fairly large selection. At a lot of these places, the salad bar seems like an afterthought and is the epitome of neglect. Not so at Braza. Any time I'm in the mood to indulge my carniverous side, I'm headed to Braza!

YUM. it's an all-you-can-eat style restaurant. They come around with various cooked meats and you choose what you want. Try the garlic steak, it's amazing. The beef tenderloin and other steaks are also really good. I don't eat pork, so I can't tell you how those are, but there is a nice selection of it. The house chicken is also good. There are usually groupons for this, and it's a pretty good deal, so I suggest checking it out

I love endless good meat that is brought to you table side. What makes it better is when it is really flavor rich meat; with a ton of variety. I have always loved Brazilian style restaurants and the great atmosphere they provide. I just love servers walking around with swords of meat. So bring out the carnivore in yourself and come here and enjoy some meat. They also have the buffet that has a ton of good salad and hot entrée options. I will come back here for sure.

This is like a lower quality Tuscanos at the same price as Tuscanos. To sum this up an interesting experience. Meat was old and not of good quality. Salad bar was small, only thing that looked descent was the potatoes other than that we ate bread which was hard and the bread basket had harden food residue all over. Actual restaurant itself is dirty. Just look at the walls if you ever dare to go in. They are filthy and look like they've never been cleaned. Go downtown to Tuscanos instead for better meat at the same price!

The brazilian steakhouse style is nothing new to Salt Lake, I've been hitting Rodizio off an on for years. Lately it seems like Rodizio has been on the decline so I decided to give Braza a try. First impression was that this place seemed small for the format. I would imagine that you would need a larger dining room to handle the weekend crowds but oh well, not my restaurant! Service was alright, a bit slow but very nice and attentive after taking drink orders. The food was good, not great. The salad bar was of an appropriate size and had a decent selection of hot and cold offerings. The potatoes were my favorite. As for the meat, of course there were items I wanted more of and items I didn't need to try again. It really comes down to the fact that you get to try a lot of things, so try out everything once and decide what you like the most. After that, just get more of what you liked. I'd like to come back to Braza, but a more consistent offering on the meat side would make me a lot more likely to do so.

We went to Braza for lunch today. Having eaten at Tucanos and Rodizio before I had some idea of what to expect from Braza. Unfortunately Braza failed to deliver on my expectations, the food was okay, but honestly it was nothing special. Unlike Tucanos or Rodizio, they didn't have much variety. There was a pork tenderloin, ham, pepper steak, sausage, and maybe one other meat. I was also disappointed by their side dishes. They have a small salad and hot side dish bar with things like salads, mashed potatoes, pasta, etc. Again Braza offered much less variety than Tucanos and Rodizio. In summary, I was underwhelmed and not impressed.

Is Braza the best brazilian buffet around? No, but it doesn't fall too far behind and with them only charging about half of what the other two big Brazilian buffets charge they win in my book. Try the limonada brazil style it is liquid heaven, you'll have to punch yourself in the lips to stop drinking it. Staff is always friendly and helpful I dig.

Meh! I've been there for lunch and the price was $11.99 for salad and meats. I guess you get what you pay for. The beef cuts that were served were only 3: garlic steak, pepper steak and tenderloin. Of those, only the tenderloin was ok, the other 2 steaks were "meh". Other than that they served ham, pork, sausage and chicken... The salad bar was very decent, though. I'm not sure if I'll come back, unless is on a "budget churrascaria trip".

Braza's my favorite Brazilian steakhouse in the SL Valley. The meats are always good. The service is always great too. All the servers are Brazilian and I believe the cooks are too. This is the most authentic Brazilian restaurant around, so no buffalo chicken wings here. If you're looking for more Americanized food, Tucanos or Rodizio's is a better choice. But, if you're looking for a more true-to-life Brazilian steakhouse, this is the place for you. Tip: Go for lunch. The meats offered are about the same, but you save a lot of dough.

$20 churrascaria! Are you kidding me? Where else can you eat for the full meat cycle for $20? Tuesdays are wild game night. Help eliminate global warming by eating all the polluting animals you can.

This is the newest location for the Braza Grill. I've not been to the other locations so I don't know the exact differences. The other appear to be full blown restaurants with table side service, looking at their web site. This location has a fast casual style. As you already guessed, the specialty is Brazilian meats. There are only a few meats to choose from. Chicken and sirloin beef. For sides you get rice, beans, and you choice of salads. The portion sizes are good but they skimped on the amount of meat a little. Also the salads were not very good. My lettuce leaf salad was browning and had many wilting lettuce leaves in it. The broccoli salad didn't taste very good either. The salads are very clearly not made fresh every day. I suspect they are left overs from the other locations. The prices are reasonable for a lunch meal. Drinks and deserts are extra. I enjoyed the meat that I had, although I wanted to try the chicken but they had run out and more would not be ready for a while. They have only recently opened so perhaps they will work the kinks out and realize they need to also serve fresh salads. I'd like to try one of the other locations in the future. One thing that did bug me quite a lot is they paid people to hand out discount coupons to get me to come in and try it. I have no problem with that. However, the people they paid are the perpetual gang of professional pan-handlers you see every day if you work downtown. These are not people in need, they prey off tourists and other unsuspecting visitors for monetary handouts.

Was not a huge fan of the meats, the majority were incredible dry and salty. The sirloin was good and juicy as well as the grilled pineapple. Side dishes/ salad bar was good, comparable to any other brazilian restaurant. The next time I'm in the mood for Brazilian grill, would probably opt for Rodizio's or Tuscano's.

Very rarely do I regret eating someplace, or wish I could get up and walk out after the first few bites of my meal. I've been to Braza before, when they first opened, and it has gone way down hill. The salad bar was ok, nothing spectacular. Rodizio and Tucanos is far superior. The meat was sub par, in fact, it was rather disgusting. It tasted of chemicals. The portions were super small (yes, I realize this is an all you can eat meat place, but after the first small portion, you just didn't want any more). The meat was dry and chewy, like it was last weeks meat they're trying to get rid of. The flavors weren't great. Even the pineapple was gross and chewy. I actually feel like I have gross meat festering in my belly now that I've consumed it. Everything about our experience at dinner tonight was disgusting. I wished we could leave. I wished we actually had, or at least complained, maybe then we wouldn't have had to pay $50 for two dinners that completely sucked. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone! I wanted to warn the people who were walking in to turn around and go to Rodizio or Tucanos. If you're reading this review, don't go to Braza!! You'll thank yourself.

The best Brazilian restaurant in Utah! I lived in Brazil twice, so trust me. It's the most authentic and it's delicious. It's also the best for your money. Only $20 for all you can eat awesomeness (compared to $35 and up at some other Brazilian places). Word to the wise: make you sure you go hungry and wear some loose pants!

Sorry to say I didn't even get the chance to try the food. We went in around 2 in the afternoon, waited 10 minutes then were finally greeted, the hostess asked how many (2) then walked away, we were the only 2 in the waiting area, we waited 20 minutes, she never came back so we left.

Came to this place for my birthday when I first moved to Utah 4 years ago. I enjoyed it then and I enjoy it still now, usually for lunch. I love the grilled pineapple and their smoked sausage is sweet & buttery. Good sides and salads also, which I usually try not to fill up on when gorging on endless meat being sliced and served tableside. I love their Brazilian drinks, and the staff and owners are always super friendly.

With large portions and authentic Brazilian taste Braza Express is a great alternative to the full blown Brazilian grill experience. Quick, friendly service, great location and a decent atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The menu online said that they serve wine. We arrived, no wine list, no wine. Just soda. I'm sorry, a steak house that doesn't serve wine? Don't waste my time.

I will admit from the get go that lots of meats are not my thing. I like meat, just not tons of it. But give some marinated meat and add some sausage and grilled pineapple and you have captured me truly. Some of the meat might have been a tad dry and charred but you can select from the less charred parts of the meat (it is on a skewer after all). The food keeps on coming as long as the green is up on top (although the one kid didn't notice are bulging bellies and the fact we had flipped our indicator to red). There is a salad bar where you can get side dishes and salad (of course) and it is quite tasty. And I was served a drink made from guaran that was delightful and a much better sugar energy alternative to soda. Finally, there was the dessert tree, you have never heard 10 stuffed to the gills people sigh with an "Ohhh!" as when they brought that thing out. The selection was excellent, but the server had me at tiramisu :-) Yes I was stuffed yes I was full, but dessert...on a dessert TREE. It's like picking fruit off of a Willy Wonka tree. Braza is definitely great for big groups as it's serving style lends itself well for that but if you're not into meat, this might not be the place for you. Fair warning, there is a lot of meat.

We enjoyed our lunch at Braza Grill. (It's much cheaper than dinner-time!) I liked the meat and pineapple a lot, but my wife was disappointed in the stuff that was on the salad bar. The server gave us a good deal by not charging us for the two small children who were with us. I don't know if we'll be back, but we had a good experience there.

I'm from California and was visiting a friend in Utah and decided to go to Braza, and let me tell you it was well worth it! I went with my family, so we had a large party of about 20. Braza provided excellent customer service! The food was delicious! We didn't wait long for the meat to come around; actually it felt like everytime I went to cut into a piece of meat, another one was being offered. It was great! I can't wait to come back to Utah just so I can come back to Braza! haha. I love it!

If you love meat, but aren't in a hurry to get it go here. The food is great but they are slow to bring around the next round of meats. Also, there wasn't as large of a selection as I've encountered at other Brazilian Grills around SLC, but it is quite a bit cheaper. I do like that it's a member of the Rewards Partner miles program, so I'll probably be back.

It's a great restaurant if you're in the mood to be a carnivore. The salad bar is pretty good. Be careful to not let it fill you up because you definitely need to leave space for all of the great grilled meats. They also have grilled pineapple that is excellent! I only wish that they went around the tables faster. What brought me to eat there and what continues to bring me there is the fact that it is part of the United Mileage dining program. It gives me that extra incentive to go eat out.

By far the BEST Brazillian Grill in Utah! We love this place. The staff is friendly and happy to try and cater to your liking of amount of cooking (even if anything over Medium Rare is just a waste of good meat)
