My boyfriend and I stayed here a couple nights ago and were very happy with the value. For about $50 we were able to stay in a cabin at Riverside, extremely close to my parents hotel and Arches National Park. The previous night we had stayed in Cayonlands RV Resort & Campground which was extremely close to other hotels and the road, very much in the middle of town. Riverside is nice because it is more off to the side, allowing more open space. However, tent sites and RV sites were very close together. The privacy of the cabin was very nice. As you can see from the pictures there is room for a few people to stay in one cabin. They had running plumbing close by which was wonderful! The staff was extremely friendly and nice. Our neighbors were respectful of rules and we had no issues with anyone being rowdy during quiet hours. They have signs posted with rules, they really do not want to clean up after you so just make sure when you leave it looks just the way you found it.

Really friendly staff! Very pretty, shady parking, pretty quiet even when completely full. They pick up your trash every morning if you set it out. The services are really good. Definitely would stay here again!

I read all the other bad reviews, but we had a great stay here. They are under new management so maybe that's the reason. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Even when our rig broke down and we couldn't leave at 11:00 they were very helpful and understanding. Very clean, nice showers, and lots of shade trees which are not found in some of the other parks. You are right on the road so some noise, but you sit down so that helps. I wish they had a pool. Would definitely want one if we still had kids. Also, they need to offer ice cream bars in the office they have a freezer but it's not working. Would have been nice. The location is the best for visiting Arches and northern Canyonlands. Easy access to both parks.

This park exceeded all of our expectations. The grounds are exceptionally maintained, the staff is the best in the business and the location along the shady Colorado river is the perfect antidote to the Moab heat. The basics - showers and other personal facilities - were perfect for this picky pair. We look forward to staying here again soon!

I didn't wind up staying in an RV park because I have a conversion van I just found an empty parking lot. but I wound up next-door at the Fairfield Inn and scrolled through the grounds. It seemed quite idyllic. Shade, quiet. No screaming kids running around. Neat. Lush grass. This was in May. Much better than the other larger popular ones where they cram you in on gravel.

Riverside Oasis takes a little heat for sticking to their rules but I applaud them for it. If you want to party, you might want to go elsewhere. But if you're looking for a well maintained and tranquil camping experience you can't do much better. We stayed in one of the cabins, "Doc's". It was clean and adequately appointed. Our visit coincided with a monsoon and there were flash floods in the area. A little water seeped in under our door but it was very manageable. The laundromat is very clean and user friendly. There are nice showers if you're a camper. This place has become a favorite for our family and I hope they can survive the building spree that seems to be happening around them.

Nice campground, however I would never stay here again. My most significant issue with this campground is that laundry facilities close at 7pm so last laundry must be in by 6pm. We were on a road trip visiting all 5 national parks in So Utah which means spending all day in parks doing hikes and then many long hours on road. 10 days into trip in motorhome. I really needed to do laundry. EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT. Unfortunately, we arrived at 7pm after stopping for dinner& was informed of the rule. The laundry facilities are in main office w/o in outside entrance. So office closes up @7pm.. This is ONLY RV PARK I have ever stayed at with this type of laundry limitation. They need to put in an a 2nd entrance or do something. We had 2 people who packed light who were out of clothes. The next day we spent at arches and then long hours on road to Salt lake city. I was able to start the laundry at Koa at 1030 pm when we arrived and finish by midnight. It would have made my vacation alot easier to do laundry at 7pm in Moab.

Quiet, not as large as some of the other campgrounds, and that's a good thing. The people who run this place are so incredibly friendly and helpful, especially for first-timers like ourselves. Riverside is nicely north of town and feels a little more out of the way. Nice clean showers and laundry are onsite, and the plentiful shade offered by the mature trees here set this place apart, I think. Would definitely come back to stay here again!

Clean and well shaded, but the management is the worst. Very rude and condescending. If your going to have so many rules and expect others to follow them then management should follow them as well. The bathrooms are closed from 11 to 12. My husband went to grab a shower before we hit the road at 10:40 and they were already cleaning and refused to left him in. After going to talk to the front desk he was again rudely informed that they already started cleaning and that check is at 11. We were happy to leave.

We got there early morning and we couldn't find the place. Yelp showed one thing and google another. The place is pretty hidden there is no sign on the road that indicates the place. At the first night they turned off the water for some reason and at 6:30 am there was a construction going on on site that made sleeping really difficult. Location is nice next to the river. Next time I'll try a different place

As the commercial campground in Moab go, I think this is one of the good ones. All the commercial campgrounds are along route 191(the main route through Moab that semi tractor trailors travel through at night). The traffic tends to quiet down quite a bit towards 12 am. The four star ratings is as compared to other commercial campgrounds in Moab, not as compared to other campgrounds. You have to compare apples to apples, so to speak. We stayed in two commercial campgrounds while we were in Moab. The Moab KOA(not recommended) and the Riverside Oasis. These two campgrounds were completely different. There was a real sense of peace in the Riverside. The Patrons seemed to respect the need for quite, and it was a completely different, peaceful experience as compared to the circus like environement of the KOA. All of the tent sights in the Riverside Oasis are under trees, and on top of grass, which makes a nice difference. No dust in your tent! The Downside: Because you are putting your tent up on grass in Moab, there are some unique rules in this campground. One, you need to take down your tent every two days so they can water the lawn. Two, you may use not tent foot print or tarp, because it will smoother the delicate grass, and kill it. I found every member of the staff, helpful and very nice. I enjoyed this stay.

Stay away! Took our money, guaranteeing a spot that would hold our 39 ft Motorhome and dolly. When we arrived they couldn't accommodate us. Asked us to back down a narrow road, dump the dolly and park in a 36 ft spot. They were sorry we'd hang into the road a few feet. What?

Be careful! Despite advance reservation the site did not accommodate our RV. Manager did not offer refund or viable alternative other than, "well, you can have this other site but only for 2 days, then you have to move". Also, park is NOT dog friendly. There are other RV parks in Moab.

Clean, shady spots. 3 star because of rude managers. If you have kids stay away!!! Manager told us at check-in that they were grumpy people! They will nit pick everything.

This is the worse campground with their "do this, don't do that rules". The staff is RUDE and they have the nerve to have a sign that says something like "they don't like rude people and will charge $10 to put up with you". In my opinion NOT a funny sign. They have no idea what a smile is. Also I did laundry and the washing machine started leaking I told the young girl at the desk and she looked at the water on the floor said she knew about it and left without cleaning up the water on the floor. These people running this place should find new jobs where they don't have to deal with the public. Note to owners: IT IS YOU WHO ARE RUDE NOT THE CUSTOMERS! Apparently they don't read these yelp reviews and I'm sorry to say I did not either prior to staying there. You can't park, put a mat on the patches of grass they have. We were told to move our truck we moved it across from us because we were in direct sun nobody was there in the space it was just for an hour or so we were outside and told to move it. We explained that it was hot we had no shade and we were going to stay outside if someone needed the space we would move it right away. NOPE had to move it. Plenty of spaces and that space was never used. We don't have young kids but I made a comment to my husband that this park was not "kid friendly". Live and learn!

I stayed here in Oct of 2009 and had a very good experience. This campground is located just outside town, only two miles from the entrance to Arches National Park and only a five minute drive into the heart of town. Tent sites, RV sites/hookups and private cabins are available. There is also a main building, where you can do laundry, wash your dishes, charge your electronics, use the Wi-Fi, take a shower and buy essentials. The staff was very helpful, polite and welcoming. They even let my cousin and I leave our electronics charging in the main building in a locked room over night. I can't speak for the cabins or the RV sites, but the tent sites were clean and comfortable, with a picnic table, a place for you to park your car and set the tent. There is always a nice layer of grass on the tent sites because they rotate the patrons, so if you are staying more than 3 nights, be prepared to move to another site on the campground. The campground is very close to the road, but we had no problem with noise. I'm also not sure where the "riverside" part of the campground was but that is because we did not explore; we just needed a place to sleep and this was perfect. Oasis is also a good place to stay if you are just easing yourself into the whole camping "thing".

Really nice campground. Clean, well kept and shady. Which is really useful in Moab. The tent rules were a little strange, but I get it. They don't allow use of tarps and if you stay more than 2 days you have to move your tent to a different spot. Also, they water every night so you have to move your tent for that as well. But it does keep the grass in good shape. Overall really good stay here. The employees were friendly and helpful and always had a smile. Would defintely go back.

This seems to be a relatively new campground in the area (the buildings look new). We arrived late, but they had all the late arrival info ready for us and posted on the office door. They originally told me that our site would not accomodate two large tents, so we booked a second site. However, when we got there, it looked like we would have had space on just one site. Each tent site had a grill and little brush to clean the grill. The grass was beautiful! There were lots of shady trees around the site. The bathrooms were clean. When I paid in the morning, the people working in the office were friendly. Since we were only passing through, we didn't go down to see the river, or take advantage of any of the activities offered. The town is a little far away - we had to drive to go to the grocery store about 7-10 minutes away. This place is located right on Highway 191, so you can hear some traffic. Our site was on the side closest to the road. If you stay here, it might be a good idea to request a site farther from the road. Overall, we had a very nice experience at a beautiful, clean campground.

Zero stars if I could. Refused entry due to having a service animal in direct violation of the ADA. We were not able to stay... This campground discriminates against persons with disabilities in direct violation of the federal ADA. Because we were travelling with a service animal, the owner refused us access to tent sites and cabins. The owner insisted that we needed paperwork showing certification, which is a class C misdemeanor under federal law. We filed a complaint with the local authorities and will pursue this to a satisfactory end.
