Great food and service! My father left his prescription sunglasses there on accident and they mailed it back to Los Angeles no questions asked. Thank you!

First, the service was horrible and slow, waited for 15 minutes for a waitress to take our order, and another 15 minutes for the dishes. Second, don't expect the taste. Third, pricy for the dish offered. And last, for only four people and four dishes, they automatically charged a 15percent tip. The attitude was awful.

I went in for their Lunch Buffet. I practically grew up in Chinatown in Los Angeles and eat chinese food regularly. Here's my honest opinion about this place: It's really not that bad. This place offers food that is grades above Panda Express and any other fast food Chinese joint you can think of. If that's what you're expecting to find here, turn around! The food is pretty authentic and quite flavorful. They also serve tons of large shrimp, which I did not expect. It's a little on the pricier side, about $15 after tip, but that's a steal considering you're in the middle of Utah and nowhere near an asian market. Meaning, most of these items had to be special ordered or driven in from who knows where. That fact alone makes me appreciate this place more because they didn't skimp on their recipe for the sake of convenience. I've actually been here twice on different trips. I'd come back too if it's stilla round. Service is terrible, yes, but the food is pretty decent!

authentic Chinese food! we were very satisfied, especialy with our Chinese taste bud. I was very surprised the low ratings they received from yelp. Just like every other Chinese restaurant, service is not their forte, but they made it up by offering their authentic and reasonable priced food. I do see more Chinese people in the restaurant. they offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet for $5.99,$7.99,$13.99. pretty good deal. I would definitely recommend it, especially to native Chinese people who travel to that part of the country.

What a terrible experience. I've never had worse Chinese food. We ordered 4 dishes and all 4 were without any taste. Simply disgusting. Plus the staff was rude and ignorant. On the top of it the waiter already added 20%, tip to the bill. JUST IF U DONT WONT TO RUIN YOUR DAY STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

Shocking! Against my better judgement, I decided to try this place. After all, Moab is not the first place I think of for Chinese food. My expectations were very low but this place was great. Every dish (noodles, soup, chicken) was excellent, and the portions were very large. Never judge a book by it's cover!

Food is mediocre and overpriced. The meals didn't come with rice, which we only discovered when we were charged for it on the bill. The waitress also gave herself a tip which she added to the bill.

This is the only Chinese restaurant you will find in Moab if you are exploring Arches National Park. So if you must crave Chinese food, you'll have to come here. Service was absolutely horrible and the waiters looked genuinely disinterested. We had a waiter that just stood there watching people eat even when we would ask her multiple times for the same item, a bowl of rice, because apparently they are only responsible for duties they are assigned to do and nothing else. So if a customer asks for something and they are not doing anything, they will just continue to ignore you and stand there. The food was definitely NOT Authentic at all despite the owner telling us that they make authentic Chinese food. I'm not sure where she's from, but her "authentic" Chinese food was the equivalent of food at Panda Express or Pick up Stix if you call those authentic Chinese food.

You can find this type of Chinese restaurant in every town. Being the only Chinese restaurant in Moab, UT it draws more customers than I expected. The overall food quality is average at best and it was a little bit overpriced for its quality. The waitresses don't seem like to know what they are doing, and some times they are just running around aimlessly. We ordered traditional Chinese dish of the menu, one of the dish does not resembles the name of the dish at all. One good thing is the owner lady seems to be very nice. Had a good conversation with her.

My friends and I are from SF bay area and had a road trip to Utah. We've had several consecutive instant noodle meals wanted to have a feast in a restaurant. We are amazed to find this restaurant. I can't imagine that such a small city in Utah has this kind-of-authentic Chinese Szechuan restaurants. We thought the food would be American-Chinese style....But it does NOT disappoint us. The food is not bad. It has separate menu for Chinese diners. We had one dinner here. The second day, we came back for lunch buffet. It's not as good as dinner. But still ok.

My friend and I both being fairly critical of Chinese food (and food in general) decided to try out this place. We've been camping the last few days and it was time for a meal after an 11 mile hike. We stopped by for their lunch buffet which actually had plenty of flavor. I would rate this restaurant as average in any large city such as Denver (which is where we live), but for a restaurant in Moab, it's pretty good. We went to the Thai place which got a high rating and we were actually more satisfied with this restaurant. Overall, buffet is a good deal for satisfying/ mediocre Chinese food.

I wish there was an option to give negative star ratings. Me and my husband went for dinner, I am a vegetarian and the least a vegetarian expects from a dish of tofu and veggies is an INSECT fallen into your veggies being cooked!! Wonder how unsanitary the kitchen would be. We had spent the day out in the arches national park n were really hungry. They made a new plate for me and were so discourteous to charge is full and no real apologies.. HATE THE PLACE.. Eat a sandwich or stay hungry then goto such a place..

can i do a zero Star? First of all, they charge tips but they don't tell you! I ordered a small-cup soup and the general Taoz chicken, but they charged me 30 dollars for total. When i checked the bill, i found they charge 25% for tips! The food is terrible here, they post some newspaper to tell you how famous their food is. But food here is terrible. I'm from China, i went to lots of Chinese restaurants in US. Compare to others, the price of this restaurant is much higher and food tasted bad. They are worse than the normal asian food, and also more slaty than western Chinese good! And the service is bad also. Never come again!

Coming from Socal, this restaurant isn't TOO bad. They actually have waiters who speak Chinese, and the food is A-OK. We ordered foo young and a few other dishes; not as good as LA, but still okay for being the only Chinese restaurant in Moab. Needs a renovation, though.

I have to start by saying this review is for the restaurant part and NOT the buffet part of this place. The owner is Taiwanese and you would get the best dining experience if you know what to order at a Chinese restaurant or even better, if you can speak Mandarin to the owner who can recommend his strongest dishes to you and/or if you know how to read Chinese and can order off the handwritten posters on the wall. Luckily the people I went with could do both so we had as good of a Chinese meal that we would have eaten in SF. But even if you can't read or speak Chinese, I think you'll be fine if let's say, you love broccoli beef, then order it here cause it looked pretty good. We needed a break from American food so that's why we were randomly eating Chinese food in Moab. Who knew! I was skeptical at the low ratings at first but that's why I say you'll have a good dining experience if you can speak or read the language and/or if you know what dishes you like and order off the menu vs the buffet. Be careful to check how much the beer is though cause ours were $6.50 each, the most expensive on our whole trip! Lastly, I thought the panda on the menu logo was super cute!

My daughter and I dined here on February 24. We ordered two entrees. One of the entrees was unedible. It was a dish that we order frequently at other Asian restaurants but didn't even slightly resemble what we typically are provided. And, as noted above, it was not edible -- almost tasted like there was something grossly wrong with it. We advised the waitress. They refused to take the amount off the check since they had "prepared it." They ended up charging us for 1/2 of the cost of an entree we didn't even eat -- plus charged extra for the rice. I would never eat at this restaurant again.

Food is mediocre and expensive. Ordered 2 noodle bowls. Tip was included in the tab for just 2 of us. Came out of the restaurant one arm shorter.

Walked in with my family and was told by the lady at the front table to just leave and not bother, and that she could not make accommodations for us because of the three tour buses pulling up. She didn't even apologize or give us the time of day. From the looks of it, we figured the restaurant wouldn't be authentic Chinese anyway. One star for the dingy interior and the horrible attitude.

After being turned away by four other restaurants because it was 10:05pm, this place welcomed us in. Our hopes were not high as it was probably the only place we could have eaten in the entire town. The hot and sour soup was simply wonderful. We added a little bit of soy and some white pepper, but it was pretty spicy as served. The mushu pork was likewise great. The black bean chicken was pretty average. All in all a very nice experience on a late night in Moab.

Not the best, not the worst but worth your time and money. The only two things I order at chinese food places are beef and broccoli and chow mien. Both items are great here!

The lunch buffet is good deal, but it is stupid to pay double to eat the same food for dinner!

This joint will cheat you of your money. They also serve terrible, Americanized Chinese food. My family is from Szechuan, and I can tell you this is not Chinese food, let alone Szechuan. It's sweet, American cuisine that tastes nothing like quality Chinese grub. My parents and I sat down for lunch and while we ordered $45 worth of dishes, the bill came out to be $65. Why? Tea was $5, rice was $6, and tip was already included (at 25%). Since when did tea become a line in the tab? or rice cost more than $1 a person? or gratuity become mandatory for a party of 3? SERIOUSLY. My Asian instant noodles from CityMarket tasted better than the dishes we ordered, which were promised to be authentic non-American food. And for the awards? Do not get fooled - this place sucks.

SZECHUAN SHAM IN MOAB!!!! The Chinese food here is mediocre at best and not authentic by any standard. My mom's from Beijing, I would know. Not only that, but the portions are miniscule and way overpriced. We ordered 6 entrees for four people. We ate everything and left hungry. None of us are very big eaters either. For example, we ordered two dishes with shrimp. The total shrimp count came to 4 per dish. The major issue we had with this restaurant is that they tried to sneak $10 extra dollars onto our bill. They added the extra money and the tip into the total and then still expected an additional tip. I could understand mandatory gratuity if you are a large party, but 4 people? Really? If you go here, be sure to check your bill. The funny thing is that even after our waitress re-checked it and brought it back, the total was still off (we added it up ourselves). Wow....

it has a pretty standard chinese buffet section, but the buffet wasn't anything like sichuan dish. so if you want spicy sichuan food go for their actual menu. however, the buffet is quite pricey (14) for what they have and they auto add 15% tip for everyone.

We stayed in the motel next door and I went to get Chinese carry out for dinner. I got General Tso's, my wife got Sweet & Sour pork. We both thought they were so-so in flavor and were soggy. There was more than enough. A serving of rice was about three dollars.

Real chinese food, what a find in this area of a country! Fresh and very tasty, but very small portions and expensive.

Really bad food and service. I give it one star because there is no zero star option. It charges for everything. Tea for $1.65 PER PERSON, rice for $1 per person and 15% tip is charged as MANDATARY fee

One Chinese restaurant in a small town in Utah...I thought, this place can't be any good. Walking in, I don't see one Chinese person (other than the employees who are Chinese)...large groups of white people...egg foo young on the menu...maybe I should leave now. Well, my friend had eaten there before and he said he liked what he had. He's Chinese and lived in NYC for a long time, so I trust his opinion. Looking around, I see articles and reviews about this place...glowing reviews. I think they used to own a Chinese restaurant in Atlanta? Well, I had the mabo tofu - it was huge, spicier than I expected and tasted really good. Not the best that I've had and definitely oily and heavy, but as good as many of the other Chinese restaurants I've been to (and I've been eating Chinese food all of my life). His eggplant looked greasy and heavy too - but it was tasty and that's what's important. Funny side story: All the Chinese people that we saw at Arches came to this restaurant for dinner. I knew they would - with only one Chinese restaurant in town, where else would they go? My friend doubted me. One by one they all came...and I noticed some of them also ordered mapo tofu.

We were headed for Arches and Canyonlands on a whim last November. We planned our epic road trip on about a two-day notice, and a couple of days into it we added these two parks to the list. We rolled into Moab to stop for the night and planned to explore both parks the next day. There are probably great restaurants in Moab but we hadn't really done our homework before leaving home. Plus, it was a Saturday night and it was pretty late - close to 10 pm - and this was just about the only thing we could find open, and was pretty close to closing. But we didn't want any kind of fast food or chain food - we decided at the start of our trip that we weren't going to eat in any chain restaurants. We didn't eat in but opted for takeout. The food was decent and the service was good. Our order was ready in about 10 minutes. My kids were really upset that we weren't eating in a restaurant. For whatever reason, they had their hearts set on it. Luckily in our hotel room we had a small table and chairs, so I set them up and pretended to take their order and served them some Chinese takeout. They were amused and everyone was happy again.

Very tasty Chinese food. Not expected in this little town in southeast Utah. The mushi chicken and curry chicken were excellent. Service a little spotty, but food comes quickly once the order is taken. It was very busy as people were still coming in at 8:30pm for dinner. Certainly would recommend going there is you have a craving for Chinese food.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
