I am highly disappointed with the Customer Service I received. My office was looking for a place to deliver lunch and we got excited when we found a chinese place that would deliver, however after trying to place the order online and having difficulties I called the store itself and she said she could place it over the phone. Once I gave her my address she started asking me where it was and how to get there, I am new to the area so i wasn't sure as I only come to work from home. I tried explaining the best to my ability. After doing so, she informed me that if it was further than 3 miles, the driver would refuse to go there, We were 4.5 Miles away. She did not say it was company policy but just that the driver refused. They have lost my business for refusing to go an extra 1.5 Miles. I am fine with paying a delivery fee, that is no problem. I believe this is some of the worst customer service i've ever had. And I WORK in customer service.

We found another American Chinese restaurant to-go. My parent's family friend suggested this place to us. First, I noticed their Chinese restaurant name is completely different with their English restaurant name. The Chinese name is Pleasant/Happy Lamb/Goat, a popular Chinese Cartoon. I actually like the Chinese name better. lol We only ordered egg flower soup, salt pepper fish and Chinese lamb kabobs. It was really delicious! And I was not disappointed in my lamb kabobs at all. I added a bit of sesame oil into the soup which made it more yummi-lious! We had some leftover after the dinner. Next morning, I just dumped all the leftover into the a pot of water and made some rice porridge without adding any seasoning. Wow, best leftover ever! The staffs were pretty friendly. They immediately started to speak Chinese to us(It is an Chinese thing).

All around just ok. I love spring rolls... These were kind of mushy. The cream cheese rangoons were a big let down. Lo mein noodles were just ok. Saving grace? Orange chicken. Really good!

This restaurant has a wide selection of Chinese food. We ordered the hot and sour soup and dumplings for apps. The hot and sour soup was good, but it was not hot enough (temperature wise, that is). The dumplings were the typical thick, wonton Chinese style. I thought it was a little sparse with the filling. We ordered a Szechuan tofu, Beijing beef, orange chicken and moo shu pork. The Beijing beef and orange chicken are battered and fried. The batter was too thick for me. Although it was crunchy, there was just too much batter. The tofu dish was tasty and the moo shu pork was good. I think the moo shu pork could have had a little more pork in it. Overall, the food was okay. Would it be my first choice? Probably not. But if someone asked me to eat there, I would go.

First time trying this place and figured I couldn't go wrong the the orange chicken. Loved it- very savory, perfect amount of zesty-ness and just a hint of sweetness. My only complaint would be the chicken:breading ratio was a little off- the pieces had a bit too much breading on them and the chicken was so delicious but there just wasn't enough of it. Staff is also very friendly. Want to go back and try one of their noodle dishes.

I'm not entirely sure how long this place has been open but there are some kinks that need to be worked out. I'll start at the beginning. Upon arriving, I felt like the layout was really strange. Perhaps it was due to the restaurant that was in the space before but it looks like there's a walkway to the cash register with a giant menu on the wall. So I thought maybe it was an "order at the cash register then sit" kind of place. Nope. We sat and one guy brought us waters and said that soup came with the lunch so I ordered hot and sour and my coworker ordered egg drop. Then another girl brought us menus a few minutes later and again asked us about soup. On the menu, it said soup was $1.99 extra. I mentioned to the gal that the other guy said soup was included and she just nodded. They brought two egg drops. I tried to get the server's attention at the register and she just waved at me then walked in the kitchen. Um.... yes hello but I also have a question. I'm not just waving to be friendly. I had to catch her attention again before she came over. They didn't really come back to check on us or refill water. Or bring our check for that matter. So we just went to the register after waiting for some time. The ended up not charging for the soup but we also didn't get the cream cheese rangoon that was supposedly part of the lunch special. Despite the weird hiccups, the food was good. The postickers were average but the walnut shrimp I got was pretty tasty. Crispy, not overly battered, and fresh. The fried rice was okay. Nothing fancy or different but not bad either. I'd give the food four stars and the service three so that sort of puts my review at a 3.5.

Exactly what I wanted: unauthentic, Americanized orange chicken. I am not being sarcastic, that is what I wanted. And, this place did not disappoint! Service was so-so and I hated my boyfriend's curry chicken, but he liked it.

Red Corner is new Chinese diner right off 7200 South and State. It's been open for less than a week, and I was tipped off by a review in the Deseret News. The diner has a nice modern ambiance, with extremely helpful and friendly staff. I came in a large group of 20 people, and although it took the kitchen a while to get everyone's food out, they were vigilant with refills and keeping us updated on the progress of the meal. I'm always impressed when Coke Zero is available. Between the members of our large group, I tried a bunch of dishes. The potstickers were steamed and delicious. The fried rice was a little bland, but excellent with a little sauce on it. I love the chow mein. The Mandarin chicken was the best I've had. The sweet and sour pork was just the way I like it - lean on the breading with a flavorful sauce that doesn't resemble melted jello. The broccoli beef was cooked perfectly. I think that they'll do well with their pricing - it's much less than some of the higher end Chinese places in the valley, but several dishes were higher quality. All the portions were generous. They offer a $5.99 lunch menu, which I'm sure I'll try soon. I'll definitely be back to Red Corner. It's been a long time since I've found a Chinese place that I dig, and it's really close to my home. Stop by the Red Corner, which is apparently the Asian name for 7200 South and State (in the same strip mall as Shane Company)

We've had Red Corner China Diner several times. For Chinese delivery it's delicious! We are from Seattle and were spoiled by delicious options all around. It's nice to find a place we can call for our occasional Chinese fix. Last night we ordered the family meal and all of it was great. For four adults it was a great amount. We all have seconds and the cost was pretty fair at about $12 a person after delivery and adding house fried rice (a must!).

Ordered some delivery tried the sweet and sour chicken, general tso, and red chili chicken I believe, none of them were anything to rave about or something I'd order again.

The funny thing about the name of this place is that the Chinese and English had nothing to do with each other. The Chinese name actually translates to "Pleasant Goat", which is a name of a popular animated TV series in China. Not sure if their copyright applies in the US. The dining area was setup like a to-go store with a single room dining area. They have a Chinese menu and a white people menu here too... secret Chinese menu seems to be the new trend in town. We started with some kabobs, traditional northern China snacks. The chicken was a bit unorthodox with veggies between the meats, which felt a bit Americanized, while the lamb was just meat with spices seasoned on top with a nice authentic touch. For main course, we got some Spicy Boiled Fish & Beef, Twice Cooked Pork, and Ground Pork Vermicelli. They fish and beef were actually decent, they used a thick broth but not the Szechuan pepper corn, which created a different sensational spicy flavor than most restaurants in town. Reaction may vary by each individual. The pork and vermicelli dishes were decent. Despite appearing like an all Americanized Chinese place, Red Corner had some hidden and decent authentic Chinese dishes to offer, especially when you got tired of the other authentic Chinese place a few blocks down the street. I only wish they open a bit later to carter our late night Chinese food needs.

This was a nice place to eat Chinese food in Utah. While the egg drop soup was a little watery the service was excellent. My traditional pre marathon entrée of chicken fried rice was executed reasonably well. Douse in soy sauce and you've got great carbo loading. Price is right, and the location is very close to the finish of the Big Cottonwood Marathon. If we run this race again. We'll be back.

Dinner for 1 = Entree, Side and Soup Wonton Soup: B- Add $1. Needed salt and some kind of pepper, preferably white or black. Wontons were beyond soggy and separated from the meatballs before I could start eating. The soup, however, featured a cornucopia of veg that made me think, "So, this is how they make wonton soup in the Szechwan province....?" Pork and Eggplant in Garlic Sauce: A Not on menu. Substituted tofu out for minced pork = add $1, and $1 for "not on menu" fee. In the end, it was worth the upgrade. Delicious. Fried Rice: A- Tasty. Sooooo, yeah. Such a bitter sweet experience. Mostly sweet. Only thing left for me to do is to lobby Red Corner to put a pork and eggplant in garlic sauce dish on the menu!

I came here today for a work meeting. The service was great. Our waitress was so friendly and super attentive. The restaurant seemed really clean and had a nice ambiance. We ordered the shrimp appetizer and some pot stickers. Both were good. I got the lunch special which was a soup, entree, fried or steamed rice and a cheese filled wonton for $5.99. GREAT deal and a good amount of food. I had the hot and sour soup and general Taos chicken. Both were great! I subbed my fried rice for lo mein for $1 and that was delicious as well. Great little spot, I'll be back.

$5.99 Lunch Specials include one Cream Cheese Wonton, Egg Drop or Hot & Sour Soup, Fried or Steamed White rice, and a nice variety of entrée choices. My Hot & Sour Soup was great, and the Egg Drop Soup was unique--very eggy with corn and tofu. Best orange chicken ever--citrusy, spicy, and crispy! We also enjoyed the Thai Cashew Chicken Breast, but I hope to remember it comes with lots of red and green bell peppers if I order it again, and ask for celery and more onions instead. Nice ambiance, with some walls painted Red and others Mango. Ladies Room is nice & clean. I'll be back because I forgot my Bookmark indicated their shrimp has gotten good reviews. I sure wish I could read my bookmark notes on my iPhone Yelp app!

Having spent 2 years in taiwan and missing the food this place really hit the spot, definitely better than the ratings make it look. Get the pot stickers, curry chicken and Sichuan fish stew. Great for friends and.family. enjoy yourself and the wonderful chinese popular music. If you are driving through make a stop. 真的好吃到嚇死人。

Midvale Utah - I've been here a few times with family because it's super close. It's reasonably priced and yummy enough. We've had a variety from spicy tofu on the non-American menu, black bean chicken (very yummy), spicy beef (tasty, not really spicy), walnut shrimp and more. It was all yummy enough for a quick meal but I personally would probably never pick this place unless I was REALLY craving some Chinese food and totally unwilling to make the drive. Usually if I'm in the area and wanting to eat out I'd pick some place else and if I really want Chinese food my first pick is Little World.

Let me start by saying I've never dined in. They are my local Chinese food joint that will deliver. My guess is the done in experience would garner a higher star rating from me. The food delivered is ok. Just ok. It is standard local Chinese fare. Everything I have ordered has just been ok. I feel there is a general communication gap when I've called in an order. The menu has numbers next to each item, but the people I have ordered from do not know the corresponding item numbers. When calling know the name of the dish you desire. Be ready also for a delivery fee and at least a 60 minute wait. The gist of the review: basic food, reasonable price, nice to have a place local that delivers. Favorite item: walnut chicken. Least favorite item: spring roll.

This place was great! I couldn't believe that anyone would rate it below 4 stars. We got the family meal for 2 with hot and sour soup and egg flower soup. They were both great! For our entrees we got beef and broccoli, which had a great flavor and the meat was perfectly cut and cooked. The second entree was general taos chicken and the breeding was perfect on it, nice and crispy and not too much on it. The service here was awesome too, I don't know what that other review was talking about, both servers spoke English and we're really nice. We will definitely be coming back when we are around Midvale.

Food on their Chinese menu is excellent. High-end, gourmet Chinese cooked the right way (I lived in China for years, my wife is Chinese... this is our go-to place). 5 stars all the way. Look at the few negative reviews - they sound like people looking for fast, sugar-filled "Chinese take out." They probably ordered "sweet and sour chicken" and other elegant cuisine (sarcasm!). I take their negative reviews as positive ones, considering the source.

Beyond impressed with the variety of ingredients. I ordered spicy chicken sch. Style. Chicken was amazing quality. Low-no fat content. So many spices & its definitely hot.

Sadly this place failed, we walked in and placed our order. We got the family meal for two and added egg roles, I dislike celcery so asked for mine without. No one spoke English well but I didn't dout they could provide what they offer. We waited about 25 min, took our food that was in stapled bags home. We ended up with no egg roles, as well as celery in my food. In the end I wouldn't recommend this place if your taking out or wanting anything special or excluded from your orders. As well the food didn't taste any better than any other run of the mill Chinese food you find, so the hunt cuntinues for good chinnese food in Utah.

Ok let me start off by saying TONIGHT was a crazy night to have a hankering for Chinese food. I went through 5 delivery options on Yelp unsuccessfully... So I called this location and found out I was right outside their 3-mile delivery radius, but they would still deliver for an additional $3. I decided to dawn my galoshes and trek to the restaurant. There were 2 tables seated and I was the only one at the counter. The young man behind the counter was taking a phone order, but told me he would be with me in a minute. About 3 minutes later...sorry you know when you are hungry time doesn't fly....he started my order. About 4 questions in he informed me they were out of chicken so everything on the menu with that as an ingredient wasn't available. Ok... So I made my order of Rangoon, sesame balls, egg drop soup and beef chow fun. I was told they were busy and it would be 15-20 minutes. Considering how this experience/review is going...I will take it. I come back into the restaurant 25 minutes later. My food wasn't ready. The young man was running around like crazy. After 10 minutes he acknowledged me while bringing out several to-go bags for a couple that came in after me. He told me it would only be a few more minutes. 10 minutes later...a total of 45 minutes after my order was placed...I was out the door. Enough about the service as I think my point of poor service is made, onto the food. The soup was bland. Wouldn't recommend it. The Rangoon had a little kick and were good. The sesame balls were soft with a good flavor. The beef chow fun that the won best of state 2012 on... Was bland and the noodles not cooked enough. So maybe the universe was off for ALL OF SLC tonight with Chinese cuisine. This experience though was not one to highlight. If I get back to this area, I might give them another try, but for now I don't recommend them.

I had a fabulous and thrifty lunch here today. The Szuchuan Tofu was damn near perfect. The sauce was slightly spicy with a wonderful garlic flavor. I'm not a fan of writing a review after only visiting once, but a decent $5.99 lunch special is rare.

I love this place. The Singapore Noodles were a nice surprise when I picked them up one night for take out. Delicious curry flavor, pork, and shrimp. Also try the sesame balls and pork with string beans. One of my favorite take out places especially with the ease of ordering online.

It trues really hard to be something special, but it falls well short of that goal. Their soup is very good, but the appetizers and entrees are not something I am a fan of. Not somewhere I'll be going back.

I'm all about trying new places and this was my first carry out from here. IT WAS PHENOMENAL! Ready in 10 minutes and all parts were steamy hot. The vegetables definitely sealed the deal. Not mushy or overcooked and full of flavor. Woman on the phone and the woman at the counter were both very pleasant. 10/10 Will be ordering from here again!

I would give this place 3.5 stars if they had the .5 option. But, we went here on friday night for some dinner and I was actually quite surprised by the quality and service. I usually frequent nearby restaurant: Sweet ginger. I feel like the two have a very similar restaurant style. Sweet ginger being the more classic Chinese food place and Red corner being more modern. We ordered the famous Honey Walnut Shrimp and Kung Pao Chicken. All the dishes are good enough for two people already so, next time I will just order one. But, I felt the shrimp dish was a bit over sweet even though its kind of expected when you order something with honey. Kung Pao Chicken was exactly that: "Pao in the kisser". It wasn't too spicy like the one at Sweet ginger and I would definitely recommend this when you frequent the spot. Overall, the customer service was great and the food was packed wonderfully in neat little boxes as well. Really impressed by the quality of this Chinese restaurant and you really get your money's worth here.

The walnut shrimp was amazing. The tempura batter was perfect and not overly breaded. The Mongolian beef was excellent. Realistic portions and quality better than any other Chinese restaurant I can think of. PF Changs and Panda Express can't touch this place. It's awesome.

I ordered delivery and their site said 30-60 minutes for delivery. After an hour I called and asked where my food was, they said about 25 minutes more, I even asked about their site said 30-60, so this was an additional 25 minutes??? Mind you that they are only about a mile from my house. Never again!!! If I could give them zero stars I would! The man on the phine was very rude and barely spoke English, when I asked if I could change my tip he just changed the subject. After 1 hour and 45 minutes I called and cancelled my order. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Red Corner is my go to Chinese restaurant. Its close by, the food is reasonably priced and tasty, and the service is wonderful! I love going during their lunch time special, $5.99 for your choice of any number of classic chinese entrées like moo goo gai pan, soup, and a cream cheese wonton.

It's pretty simple: here's a Chinese restaurant with a simple menu in a convenient location. Find your favorites here--beef with broccoli, cashew chicken--you know the ones. They're aren't pushing the limits of fusion cuisine, but I think you will be pleased with the quality of the food. It's not your average, mass-produced Chinese food slopped up cafeteria style. No, you'll sit and order and they'll bring it out all snappy like. On a recent lunch trip, I was pleased to see that they have great lunch specials--again, a simple menu served with rice, soup, and a cream cheese puff for just $5.99. I got the Thai chicken (just to be different, you see) and it was a hearty portion for the price. Mandarin chicken? Also tasty. It's not super fancy, so lunch may be the way to go. But in a part of the valley where Chinese food can be a gelatinous mess, this was actually a nice, clean change of pace.

This is the best Chinese food takeout I've ever had! *True Story* We ordered this on a whim after seeing the pics on Yelp. And let me tell you...the food looks EXACTLY like the photos! and taste GREAT! We ordered Orange Chicken with Chow Mien. BEST orange chicken I've had. (even better than Panda Express) it's FULL of flavor!! and the chow mien- wonderful! We also ordered Mushroom Chicken and it was very tasty!!! THIS WILL BE OUR GO TO CHINESE FOOD PLACE as long as we live in the SLC area!

Can here for a team building lunch. We ordered a bunch of dishes family style and passed plates. Cumin beef and dry fried chicken were what disappeared fastest. The eggplant with garlic was delicious. Chicken, beef and sweet sour soup. Try it! You won't be disappointed. Truly a gem hidden in a strip mall.

This was my second time ordering from here and the food was just as terrible as the first time. For a Chinese restaurant, I at the very least expect good rice and I'm pretty sure they use minute rice. I also thought that sweet and sour pork was a safe bet for any Chinese restaurant but it was anything but delicious. If you've ever been to curry in a hurry, think of the disparity between their curry and authentic curry; well that is the same level of disparity between the Red Corner China Diner and a good chinese restaurant.

We're from Seattle area so we are used to having great Asian restaurants. We struggled to find a good Chinese restaurant near Kearns. We went to 7 ro 8 restaurants, some of which were really really bad before we found Red Corner Diner via Yelp. It is by far the best Chinese restaurant we have found so far. The service is excellent but we did have to ask for chopsticks rather than it being offered. The food was fantastic, The Mu-Shu pork being our favorite. The pot-stickers and spring rolls were also fabulous. I preferred the Hot and Sour soup to the Egg Flower soup. Red Corner is our new favorite Chinese restaurant. We'll definitely will be going back.

Another cool find. I really enjoyed this restaraunt. I took my 7 year old, and he's not too adventerous, so likes the basic chinese fare. He got an Orange Chicken kids meal ($4.99). He really like it. I was really excited to see 4 or 5 lamb dishes on the menu. I didn't order one this time, but I'm excited to go back and try one. I tried the Sweet Fire chicken. I enjoyed the crispiness, it was mild on the heat, but really tasty. My girlfriend had the Veggie Chow Fun. She liked the flavors, said they were very unique. We got a free appetizer for using Yelp to check in, and they were nice. They have a substantial "authentic" menu that I'm looking forward to working through. Clean, friendly, fast. I'm really happy to have found this fantastic little place.

This is the second time I visit this restaurant, have to say their food quality is not as good as before, they use pretty cheap material, take sliced potato with jalapeño for instance, they basically put few pieces of green bell pepper mixed with some dried red pepper, charging 7.99, and taste so so. We also ordered twice cooked pork, it is of course better than "moms kitchen"(the worst Chinese restaurant in slc),however they only cooked it with some cheap Chinese source which is called Lao gang ma and some onion ,there is no garlic leeks, no spicy fresh paper, and because of the cheap source, you won't even be able to taste how old the meat is(they serve pretty old meat there as well). And in comparison to other Chinese restaurants, the quantity was pretty low. However their service was not too bad.

I was staying in the Midvale area and went to dinner with a business associate. We decided to go for Chinese or Asian style food and I went to yelp for advice. We decided on this place as it had a good rating. Upon arrival the place was small with no frills. There was a nice young man waiting tables and came to wait on us quickly. His service was excellent and he was very attentive to our needs. Too bad the food quality didn't match the service. I ordered pork fried rice and sweet. & sour pork. The rice was very bland and the sweet and sour seemed like something from a fast food place. I definitely wouldn't go back based on the food quality. It's got to be the worst I've ever eaten.

We ordered delivery. Very reasonable delivery surcharge. They were here quicker than promised and the food was still nice and warm. Good orange chicken, decent sweet fire chicken, but the sesame seed balls were a new treat for me that were very good. All and all I'm happy with my experience, especially the fact that they delivered.

Love this place. I've tried most dishes on their menu and I'm always wonderfully surprised. Such friendly service. This is also the most authentic Chinese food I've found in Utah. Favorite dishes are beef chow fun, moo shu pork, egg drop soup, garlic eggplant, and sesame balls. Is recommend this excellent place to anyone

The egg flower soup was amazing and the staff was very friendly. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the kung pao chicken. There were potatoes in it which threw me off and it was a wee bit salty. To remedy this I used a bunch of sweet and sour,of course. My fiancee's beef with broccoli however was perfect. The broccoli was fresh and the beef was tender. Overall the experience was good and I'm sure we will be going back. *Bonus: We received a free order of rangoons for checking in with Yelp! Score!

Thanks to Yelp for the check in offer, free wontons sold us to try this spot for lunch.. It's sort of that cursed location that rotates out every year or so, but I hope these owners stick it out for a longer haul. Great lunch special for fresh orange chicken. The fried rice could use some help, but at least that have chili oil on the table to spice it up. I will return to try all of their lunch items!

I decided to try out Red Corner because I had a Google offer and the best thing about them was that they didn't require you to dine in, which is good because sometimes, if I'm by myself, I just like dining in the comfort of my own home. With that said, it was an absolute NIGHTMARE getting to Red Corner. Not that it's Red Corner's fault, but because it just happened to be located in Midvale, unfortunately, there is construction everywhere, torn up roads, traffic backed for miles in all directions, and no clear signage about where to go or where to turn. Not to mention stop lights not working properly. Ugh! But anyway, the first time I went to Red Corner, I ordered a garlic dragon shrimp. Don't know why. I guess the name just sounded exotic. Certainly nothing I have tried before. Overall, it was good. The shrimps themselves were a bit salty. The sauce, however, was good. Not too spicy. Not too oily. Not too salty. And, best of all, not too much of it! At 11.99, I'm not sure if that would make for a good deal. But I had a Google offer, so that tempered the price a bit. I cannot make declarative statements about how good it is relative to other Chinese restaurants because I simply haven't been to enough. But it's good in its own right, even if it's Americanized.

I've been there twice. The food is pretty good. Had a tofu/eggplant garlic dish for lunch that was nice, although I wish the eggplant would have been sliced a bit bigger. One thing that disappointed me today--the lunch special included an entree, soup, rolls and a side. The rolls were pretty small, and the side turned out to be your choice of white or fried rice. Huh?

Avoid at all costs! I ordered for delivery on 11/21/12 at 1230pm through their online menu, which is suppported by "BeyondMenu.com" online ordering... I had to register on that website, and enter-in all my personal information, as well as my credit card information! I received a confirmation, as well as two confirmation emails. An hour later, I still had not received my delivery, so I called Red Corner China Diner. They indicated that they had not received my order. I asked to speak to a manager, and expressed my concern, as I had entered my credit card information, AND included a nice tip with my confirmed payment. He nonchalantly indcated that I hadn't been charged... I continued to express my dismay, and asked for a cancellation number or something confirming that I had indeed not been charged. He then hung up on me! I had to call my credit card company, and "BeyondMenu.com" to confirm my cancellation, and to make sure my credit card wasn't charged. It was a huge mess! They were way out of line! I found out that their fax machine had 'gotten stuck' and all of the orders had back-logged, and then spilt out sometime later. Still, if a business isn't tech-savvy, they should not have an online ordering option!!! This was way too much of a headache for some potstickers, beef broccoli, and honey walnut shrimp!

Very good! Hot and Sour soup was delicious. Beijing beef, Moo Shoo Pork were excellent. Family style tofu was good. Orange chicken didn't taste orange to us, but still tasty. Service very friendly! Will come back next time we are skiing in Utah

I went here for lunch. I was really happy with their food. It was fresh, tasty, and authentic. I was even happier that even though they were about to close, they opened up for me- which they ended up having a few more customers come in after us. And the end of the meal, it was a modestly priced lunch with great taste.

Should be a 4 and half. This is a very decent chinese resaurant. I ordered from their chinese menu and liked this lamb skewer, suancaiyu, and suanlafen. Although the huiguorou is not very good. Good service ,too.

Horrible service to begin with, secondly the food was bad. When we walked no one greeted us. We finally wrangled someone to seat us and had to wait some more for menus. Once we ordered, the food didn't take long but it was bland. There was also a strange substance on the plate. I think it may have been seasoning, it may have been corn starch and soy sauce. I don't know but it was really unappetizing. Our waitress never came back to check on us so I couldn't tell her the food was gross. Waste of time and money.

Been there three times, loved it. I get Happy Family (nice, flavorful, not as salty as you'd expect), soups, firecracker chicken (yum). Some of their wait staff find English a bit challenging, roll with it folks, this is a Chinese restaurant. IMO, best Chinese food in the county. For those of you who want 'American" Chinese food, um, go to one of the buffets in town and get an order of french fries.

if there were a 3.5 star option here i would have gone with that but i went ahead and rounded up. one of the most scary things in the food world is trying a new chinese place.i can't totally explain why it's sketchy and met with hesitation, but i don't think i need to. i'm sure you totally understand! i rarely go out for chinese- make that never- but my husband wanted to check it out and i was game.usually our chinese food is delivered to our house and i rarely see the source of where my dinner is coming from. walking into red corner was such a pleasant experience- (phew!). what a clean, well kept little spot! the staff was so friendly and it's priced well. i give them a 4 star rating for cleanliness, staff, and pride. the food is good too- i have pics and will post later. it's your standard american/chinese fare. i wasn't blown away by flavors - it's just a nice, quality version of everything you're probably used to. we got the red corner appetizer sampler that had fried shrimp, potstickers, egg rolls, spring rolls, and cream cheese wontons. they also greet you with fried wonton strips and a bowl of sweet and sour sauce. i love that every ethnic food seems to have it's own version of chips and salsa! i had egg drop soup which is always sorta strange but it wasn't too eggy and the corn was fresh (or fresh tasting) and he got the hot and sour of which he guages all chines places on- he approved. we got the family dinner for two- me: sweet and sour chicken. him: orange chicken with fried rice. sweet and sour is white meat and orange is dark meat. although i didn't have any new revelations or new bold flavors regarding these classics, they were a proper representation of an old favorite. i'm also excited to have a place to order delivery from and know the source is so clean and well taken care of!

Sitting here an hour and a half after ordering delivery online and still NO FOOD. Service must be great for dine in but it's awful for delivery. We won't be ordering from here again--this is our first experience with this restaurant. Disappointed.

  • Bill A.

Huh?

Horrible service to begin with, secondly the food was bad. When we walked no one greeted us. We finally wrangled someone to seat us and had to wait some more for menus. Once we ordered, the food didn't take long but it was bland. There was also a strange substance on the plate. I think it may have been seasoning, it may have been corn starch and soy sauce. I don't know but it was really unappetizing. Our waitress never came back to check on us so I couldn't tell her the food was gross. Waste of time and money.

I first visited Red Corner using a Groupon Special, and have returned on many occasions. The food is excellent, with very large portions. The servers are always friendly and eager to exceed your every expectation. It has become one of my home town favorites.

if there were a 3.5 star option here i would have gone with that but i went ahead and rounded up. one of the most scary things in the food world is trying a new chinese place.i can't totally explain why it's sketchy and met with hesitation, but i don't think i need to. i'm sure you totally understand! i rarely go out for chinese- make that never- but my husband wanted to check it out and i was game.usually our chinese food is delivered to our house and i rarely see the source of where my dinner is coming from. walking into red corner was such a pleasant experience- (phew!). what a clean, well kept little spot! the staff was so friendly and it's priced well. i give them a 4 star rating for cleanliness, staff, and pride. the food is good too- i have pics and will post later. it's your standard american/chinese fare. i wasn't blown away by flavors - it's just a nice, quality version of everything you're probably used to. we got the red corner appetizer sampler that had fried shrimp, potstickers, egg rolls, spring rolls, and cream cheese wontons. they also greet you with fried wonton strips and a bowl of sweet and sour sauce. i love that every ethnic food seems to have it's own version of chips and salsa! i had egg drop soup which is always sorta strange but it wasn't too eggy and the corn was fresh (or fresh tasting) and he got the hot and sour of which he guages all chines places on- he approved. we got the family dinner for two- me: sweet and sour chicken. him: orange chicken with fried rice. sweet and sour is white meat and orange is dark meat. although i didn't have any new revelations or new bold flavors regarding these classics, they were a proper representation of an old favorite. i'm also excited to have a place to order delivery from and know the source is so clean and well taken care of!

Ordered some delivery tried the sweet and sour chicken, general tso, and red chili chicken I believe, none of them were anything to rave about or something I'd order again.

Slow as fked. Grab the manu myself after waiting for 10 years. Takes 50years to get the order taken. 100years to get my dish.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
