You don't have to drink the boos to get an awesome burger for only $6.25.

The best bar in Logan, though you have to drink a hefty number of Big Dogs to feel anything. Their food is what one would expect from a bar. Decent burgers. It does a brisk business, and it's deserved.

This is a review based solely on my dining experience. I went there wanting to eat a hamburger that everyone has been raving out. I don't drink, so if you do and plan on going there to drink with friends and spend the evening, probably best to ignore my review. Patio was nice. Its like any other patio I've been to, but as patios go in Logan its hard to beat the weather outside come 8 or 8:30 in the p.m. Wife got the turkey-avocado, it was fine, nothing to brag about. I ordered the burger. The burger itself was wonderful, but the bun they use is one you would get from the grocery store (I think I pulled it from a sara-lee bag), the toppings are generic, and the chips they give you are the mini-bags of lays potato chips. It took an hour to get everything to me. And they don't take cards. If you're looking for a good burger with great fries, skip the Owl and go to Center Street Grill half a block east. Best burgers and fries I've EVER had. But it you want to to drink and enjoy a nice evening with your friends, I don't think you'll be disappointed at all.

Great little place. Hadn't been there in a very long time and its grown substantially from the smoke filled pool hall of the mid 1970's. Nice selection of beers and great service. We ordered a cobb salad and some wings. Both were very good. Recommend getting the sauce on the side for the wings. The bartender asked but we chose to get the sauce on the wings. Our mistake, they were pretty much swimming. The mid sauce was plenty hot. Highly recommend. If we lived here, we'd frequent it often. Very reasonable prices.

Only has beer, cash only, glasses weren't really clean, and the menu was simple bar food. The waitress wasn't very beer knowledgable and asked us to pay our tab before ordering food we decided to hop to another bar.

The best (and almost only) tavern to drink beers with friends. We love going when the weather is warm and the deck is open. The food is not great (at least for someone like me, who can't eat wheat and is vegetarian), so I try to eat before going out! Bring cash, or use the ATM, which posts White Owl Bookstore on your statement. It's pretty dive-bar-ish, but we like it :)

Can you say trashy? Beer is good. Big dogs are awesome. But if your not a regular they treat you like crap. Bartender is rude. Waitress are rude and impatient. Sorry ladies your paid to take people's orders and hey you applied for the job. In general place is horrible. Food isn't even good! I was told they have the best this and thst. Hahaha...no. I rather eat at IHOP then this place. I've been there 5 times and never have I tipped any of them bcz like I said trashy service.

BIG mug of Utah beer (I recommend the Cutthroat for some semblance of beery goodness) and a big ol' burger (I recommend going buffalo). Do it on the roof deck and you build your own burger. You will stay fat and hydrated and happy, unless you're expecting a gastropub (and why on earth would you be expecting that from the Owl?) Low prices, low expectations, high return on investment. REMEMBER: No credit. Cash or check only.

Man this place was awesome, first of all there's a few bar areas that you can get a drink and be fed, there's the main area when you walk in, a back portion of the building, and the side hall where the pool tables are. So I have to say, the local craft brew was pretty tasty, I had a hefeweizen and was already blown away by the price of a pitcher, even better that the glasses were cold and the beer was colder, so good marks there. I also tried out the Philly sandwich they offered, and all I can say is that its good old fashioned greasy, nasty, bar food. The kind you'd want to eat! The only problem is the bun was a little burnt, but that's fine. There's also a top section for smokers, and if you're social about it you can bring your drinks up there, since there's a counter to have it all held there, go high enough and you can get a nice little view of all the rooftops. The only things I can knock this place for is that the bathroom is a little too cramped, but you know, whatever since its a bar, one that I'm going to come back to if I find myself here again.

We are always looking for good food when we go up to Logan, a couple years back we stumbled upon the White Owl, now we usually end up there. We have had the burger as well as other sandwiches during our recent visits. The latest trip up I got the pastrami and the wife the Reuben. Honestly, not as good as I remembered from previous visits, my sandwich was on the small side, the pastrami dry, served with chips and a bit on the pricey side. Next time I will go for the burger if that isn't what it should be we will probably be looking for a new haunt in Logan.

Best burgers in town. Sometimes it takes a while to get service and the food takes a while to get to you. The wait is worth it. The atmosphere is a bar. Not my preferred place to eat but not too bad either

Really good burgers. I go for the buffalo burger because I've convinced myself it's somehow healthy. Anything fried is a greasy treat. The service is hit and miss and the beer is cold. Beware that the Logan Police often target patrons of this bar for DUI stops. They are also pyscho about ID'ing customers. It's not really the bar's fault but more a symptom of a small town police force being bored.

Best bet for a cool dive bar in Logan. I say dive bar with affection- would definitely go back if I ever go to Logan again. Service was incredible, and my bison burger was fantastic.

Turkey avocado sandwich is delicious! Sitting up on the deck in the summer is fun, even if you aren't drinking, it's a fun atmosphere!

Has a homey atmosphere in the bar but it falls short in a lot of ways. The beer is alright, but totally forgettable. Quantity does not cover up lack of quality I'm afraid. The waiters/waitresses are attentive but offer up no useful information, give the wrong change half the time, and are constantly impatient. The food is pretty much bar food, no more no less. It might be the best bar in town, but that isn't saying much. They don't take credit cards.

If you are looking for a burger and a big dog, a fried basket of veggies or just a nice relaxing game of pool, here is where you should go.

When my fiancee and I arrived at the bar for the first time, a couple of folks were just on their way out of the bar. They looked hard-bitten and long in the tooth - like something out of Deadwood. Once inside, though, it's just your regular, good old bar. The ribeye steak sandwich was tasty, as was the buffalo burger. The great thing about the bar is that, as a friend put it, "The White Owl gets a great cross-section of local society." He pointed out, "Because it's one of the only bars in town, everyone comes here. You get college kids, local folks, the hard-core alcoholics, people who are just there to watch the game on the big screen... everyone." I'm looking forward to when it gets warm enough to enjoy beers and burgers on the roof.

Well, we don't have a lot to choose from for bars in Logan, but The White Owl does a pretty good job of delivering. Food options (even veggie) are good, and represent typical bar food. The White Owl especially shines during Spring, Fall, and Summer - sitting on the patio with a cold one and a big @ss salad - yep, that's nice. Please note, at some point it's indicated on the Yelp wall that they accept plastic - nope, cash and checks. Good news is there's an ATM close by if you find yourself in a jam.

Good pick up spot. Visiting the area. Had some good local beer. They can't help the bulls*** laws here in Utah, so I can't really blame the 3.2-4.0 beer on them. Overall, cool dive place.
