Contrary to others experience, great service and great food. There is definitely nothing sketchy about this place. Nice modern, decorative concrete floor and large dining room. Large sushi bar but I always sit at a table. The waitress was a very attentive and quick, pretty Japanese girl. With Japanese chefs behind the bar. How much more authentic do you want? If you don't like raw fish so much, the tempura Godzilla roll is the whole roll fried and is just delicious with the spicy sauce! The seared tuna was amazingly fresh and barely seared perfectly. I love this place and I don't want it to go away. Go enjoy AYCE sushi for a very reasonable price! A ton of variations and the soup and salad are a nice touch with the lunch acye.

It's hard to believe that this place only has 3 stars. My husband and I are new to Logan and we both enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant. The owner is very nice and super helpful when ordering. They took over ownership 5 months ago and started serving pho in addition to their menu. This is the only place in town that serves pho. The pho is actually what brought us here and it was delicious. The broth is fantastic. It is served with thin sliced steak and meatballs in it for $8.75. It had just the right amount of noodles. My husband had the Tornado roll per the owners suggestion and he really liked it. We will definitely be returning very soon.

I wasn't so sure about trying a new sushi restaurant, but the food far exceeded my expectations. The sushi rolls were amazing and service was great! I would highly recommend Sushi Ya

This place is great. My wife and I come here whenever were feeling sushi. Delicious sushi for a great price. Service has never been a problem. The Idaho and godzilla are our current favorites.

The sushi is good if you honestly know what to get. Their best rolls are the Godsuki, Barney Rubble, Orange Julius and King Kong. Wait time is a bit of an issue, but considering they're making it fresh it all good. The service needs work but the food certainly doesn't.

Hard pass! Horrible service, bland flavors, and worst of all the smell of a fish tank while trying to enjoy sushi. Again hard pass!

I'm somewhat of an overeater when it comes to sushi. Once a month or so I think "I'd like to fill-up on some good sushi". I go to Sushi Ya, and leave satisfied but never blown away. Their Tempura Fried rolls aren't to my liking. Too much batter if you ask me. The service is what you make it. I've had no communication with anyone, and I've had great communication with a chef recently moved here from CA. If you're looking for a romantic setting or to be blown away by the attentiveness, this is likely not your place. But if you want a decent all you can eat joint with fair lunch and dinner prices, you will be pleased.

Not great. Lil school aged boy working & getting yelled at by I assume his parent/family for not serving drinks, and taking food out. Kids argues back. Food slowly arrives, food received doesn't look like the items pictures. Much much less amounts of crystal shrimp and crap than pictures on menu. Fish doesn't taste great, one sauce tasted very much like plain mayo. Price isn't great, didn't get my drink refilled when empty. I won't go back.

The worst sushi experience i have ever had. This is the only all you can eat sushi place that me and my son ate about 3 bites each and could take no more, we paid and left. All you can eat sushi is only expected to be so so, but this place was crazy, the rice was the size of a baseball, the fish you could see through the salmon was grey, the tuna was dull orange, the yellow tail definately was not even close at all - pretty sure it was trout. There was some sort of mayo or something on the nigiri too, just un believable. We were forced to go eat at a different restraunt as i could not even stomach anything we ordered. I hope somehow sushi ya can maybe charge a little more and put something on the table that is halfway decent.

Been hesitant to try out Sushi Ya since they opened. The idea of all-you-can-eat sushi just doesn't sound appetizing. Nonetheless, my wife and I stopped in tonight to try it out. We were greeted promptly, welcomed, ushered up to the bar, brought menus, had a very attentive and friendly staff, and no issues with the service and atmosphere of the restaurant. Our problem was the taste of the sushi. We asked to simply bring out their best rolls and tried one after the next. We had four of their "best" rolls (Alaska, Rocky Mountain, Vegas, and one other I can't remember). The presentation was good, the fish looked fresh, we tried cooked/tempura and, uncooked, but they simply didn't taste very good. We'd try a piece and literally have no interest in having another. The last roll my wife wouldn't even try after I took one piece and gave her the "this isn't good" look. I wanted to leave it all there and simply leave but she made me box it up so we wouldn't appear "rude". When the owner came by and asked how it compared to Takara or Happy Sushi in town I told him frankly that it didn't. I said the quality of the materials and presentation appeared to be there, but at least for us, the flavor wasn't. I've worked years to get my wife to finally like, and actually now "love" sushi, and this has set her back. I don't think either of us we'll be craving it for awhile. Sorry Sushi Ya. We paid more than Takara (at $45, double) but felt like we were eating grocery store sushi. I have a to-go box with 80% of the sushi we ordered, but it's going right in the trash.

so being from coastal southern cali i have high expectations for sushi. I've been in Logan just 3 months and have been craving sushi really bad. so i decided to try this place out. i hoped for the best and you know what it was not too shabby. the AYCE is a great deal and some of the rolls really satisfied my sushi craving. I gave them 4 stars for being able to hold their own. and for having a great atmosphere and great service. see you all soon.

So being an out of town Californian, me and my friend were looking for a place to get some chow before we started our day, unfortunately a lot of places are closed on Sundays, and we were just about to take a chance on Mongolian Barbecue until we spotted this place. First off, they opened a little early and invited us in to hang out till they were ready, early off they could get us drinks, miso soup, stuff to start off with. Everyone was really friendly and the service watch top notch, but the real treat was the pricing and the quality of the sushi. Being a little far away from the ocean had us weary, but everything tasted amazing! You'll definitely want to pay the extra couple of bucks to get their full blown all you can eat menu option, because their house special rolls are something I've never seen and tasted before. My only knock was that the soda machine was running out of syrup, and that some of the rolls had kinda a "dry" texture in the middle, or that one tempura had that greasy aftertaste that didn't really bode well. But besides that, you'll definitely want to come in, take in the homely decor, and stuff yourself with good food.

This is the WORST SUSHI I jave ever had in my entire life. There was noone in there and first of all it took for ever just to get our firat couple of rolls containing mostly rice. Then the sushi chef lags and then gives us our Sushi.. and I swear to you rhe rice was hot and about the size of a plum worth of rice with the thinnest piece of fish to the point where you could SEE STRAIGHT THRU THE FISH DIRECTLY TO THE RICE! when you try to eat it by this time the fish is straight WARM and you could not tell what was what (tuna, salmon, yellow tail) they do even use REAL WASABI! ! THEY USED STUFF FROM A TUBE! They even served me a dirty plate.... THIS IS SERIOUSLY HORRIBLE and I was straight concerned for my own health it was that bad. I tried talking to what appeared to be the owner (not too many teeth guy) and he did nothing.. tried to question my sushi knowledge. LITTLE DID he know I have been eating sushi for over 20 years and I lived in California whete you can find some of the BEST sushi around. This place needs to be shut down.... people are being ripped off and when u pay the all you can eat they serve you SUPER SLOW WITH A SHIT LOAD OF RICE TO get you to fill up fast!!! I HATE THIS PLACE I HATE I HATE IT... and I am not that picky on sushi I will eat it from 7-11 dont get me for being a snob but I can get better sushi from the Lees Market... their rainbow roll had pale looking yellow fish all over it.. the chef didnt even put the avocado, eel sauce or anything else on it.... serious DO NOT EAT THERE!!!!! Kubuki on Main St in Logan is amazing compared to this joke of a place!!!!

Not good sushi, VERY heavy on the mayo, would not recommend this to anyone. Get sushi from a grocery store before spending $20 here.

This is great sushi on a budget! But it's not for large groups, If u go alone or with 1 friend it's perfect. You sit at the bar, as soon as ur ready to start give the chef your order and he'll have it out in a few mins max. Large groups have to put in a lot of sushi in all at once so it takes a long time. Go alone or with a friend for best experience

They seemed to have lost the way to waitress. Our sushi rolls had came out but still waited another twenty minutes for the extra food. Then they forgot to put in our next round of sushi and we had to go to a movie so had to cancel the order after waiting twenty minutes after the extra food had came out. Somehow they kept forgetting our table. We did receive a discount on our food and a lot of apologies. Half our party was children and they were disappointed that we had to leave the restaurant still hungry.
