My husband, son, and I each ordered very different dishes and yet they all looked and tasted exactly the same (bland). Have not been back since.

This place is OK. I may have been expecting too much as I had not been back here since college. Back then I thought this place was amazing. I do not think much has changed with the Restaurant, but my expectation of good food has definitely improved. This is not the cleanest restaurant, so if you are turned off by that you may want to skip this joint. The tiny spicy chicken was always my go to here and it is still pretty tasty.

This place is usually good, the service is occasionally spotty though.

I am a sucker for Won Ton soup and they make a killer bowl. I will defiantly be back for more.

Service was fast. Vegetarian and vegan options. The veggies were fresh. Very cheap, even for dinner. We'll be coming back again soon :)

Went on a Monday afternoon, well past any sort of lunch rush time, if this place even has one (I don't know if they do or don't). Wife and I both got the lunch specials, I got the Sweet and Sour chicken and it was great. Perfect amount of crunch and came out fast and very hot. The rice was also pretty tasty. Food came out so fast, in fact, that I hadn't even gotten half way through my soup when the food arrived. Kinda disappointing since I was really enjoying the soup (Hot and Sour) and had to put that on the back burner to eat the main course. By the time I came back for more soup, it was cold. But I don't think that is their fault. Service was good, food was good, place seemed pretty clean. With 10% USU student discount, I certainly have no complaints and will be back again. I have to try this tiny chicken everyone talks about.

I don't really understand why it wasn't crowded. Good food, and good service at a pretty reasonable price. The oldies music kinda threw off the atmosphere....but I didn't come for the music.

Across from our hotel, we zipped over for dinner. Quick glance at the menu before we sat, we gave the approval at the vegetarian options. And our server let us know that there's plenty of veggie options, even some spring rolls he had rolled himself. Thankfully the rice was free refills, as well as the spicy mustard!..which we couldnt get enough of. Despite the lack of garlic in the said sauce, it was all still tasty. Huge portions, as usual had to take leftover back to hotel. Day after,

If you want a lot of food and you don't care how healthy it is, this is a great place to eat. IF you aren't from the Logan area, order yourself some TIny Spicy Chicken and wonder why you've never had it before and why it isn't available at every Chinese restaurant. It's delicious. IT's not expensive, the staff are incredibly friendly, it's nothing fancy.

I have eaten here ever since I was a child (literally 20 years) and the decor hasn't changed (for those who care about that sort of thing). You can't go wrong with tiny spicy chicken, chicken with cashews, and kansa shrimp. Although, it seems to depend on the day, I've had both the nasty and the delish, so you feelin' lucky? You get a lot of good food for the price. Service is generally good but they tend to get overwhelmed easily so plan accordingly. The best Chinese food (of this caliber) in Logan topped of with a fortune cookie specifically for you!

I have gone to this restaurant for years and almost always get the Tiny Spicy Chicken and Hot and Sour soup. I love them both. Service is usually good and food come out quickly.

If you go here and don't get the tiny spicy chicken, that's a huge mistake. It has the absolute best flavor and comes with so much food. It was delicious. The honey cashew shrimp was also quit delicious. Really good food here.

I came to Mandarin Garden last night with a friend. It was pretty quiet and we were seated immediately. The server was friendly and was quick to bring us drinks. However, our order came out less than five minutes after we placed it, meaning that our food was either microwaved or had been sitting in a warmer in the back, and was definitely not fresh. We ordered crab rangoon, Mongolian beef, and orange chicken. The rangoon was okay, the beef was okay, and the chicken was good. There was actual charred orange rind in the chicken, which was interesting. They serve jasmine tea at Mandarin Garden, and I really liked it. I'm not often in the mood for Chinese, and given that we were served old food, I'm not in a very big hurry to return to Mandarin Garden.

Everybody has a friend who will show up at a rib joint and order pasta. That is akin to showing up at Mandarin Garden and not getting the Tiny Spicy Chicken. I have had the dish at several different restaurants, but these guys have perfected it! Great spice, tons of chicken and crispy! Most places serve it more on the soggy side. We also had the sweet n sour chicken, which was also very crispy and delicious. The house special lo mein is excellent. Service was great, and very quick. We will definitely be back!

I had the Seafood Deluxe Platter and it was just alright. However, my friend got the Tiny Spicy Chicken and she LOVED it so I gave the restaurant 4 stars.

If there's a restaurant that makes me REALLY excited to come home for the Holidays it is Mandarin Garden! I have been coming here since I was a child and let tell you after eating at Chinese restaurants all over the world, this place is just incredibly delicious!! The quality of the ingredients is superior than most Chinese places, the service has always been wonderful, the decor could improve but my review is all about the food and service. I find their vast menu to be delicious though can make it hard to choose just one item at dinner! I recommend sharing with your guests to try a little of everything! Broccoli Beef is amazing, Happy Family, Orange Chicken, Seafood Soup, the fried rice is delicious!! This is definitely where I go as a guilty pleasure. Sure it's not that healthy but when you can treat yourself after a workout this place is a winner!!

All you need to know is Tiny Spicy Chicken. It never gets old and the proportions are generous. Honestly it's so good I've never felt the need to try anything else. If you're a USU student there is even a discount. Mmmm.

The food is good here. Wonderful shrimp was great. We have eaten here twice. The portions were good and food was flavorable, but as the same in all take out in Logan--- u must request condiments (soy sauce) and forks, spoons.

Mandarin Garden was on our list of restaurants to dine at because we'd never been. We went, fully in the mood for Chinese food, but weren't impressed. Husband ordered the lemon chicken, which had a thick, gelatinous sauce with weak lemon flavor and not nearly enough salt. I got the kung pao chicken (which they spell a bit differently but I can't remember it), and it was better, but too salty and drowning in sauce. It was worth going in to be able to cross it off the list, but I don't think we'll be going back for our usual second try if we can help it.

I always love eating here! I have never had a bad meal! My favorites are the tiny spicy chicken, chicken low mein, ham fried rice, and shrimp. Great service at the restaurant or it tastes great with take-out.

Awesome food! And good service with smiling faces--something Black Pearl doesn't have. Try the tiny spicy chicken. They even stir fried some broccoli and put it on top for a little extra.

Best chinese in utah... With a solid lunch menu for around six bucks you get an appetizer soup and main dish.

My husband and I went for dinner and ordered their special with chicken chow mein and shrimp with snow peas.. The food was good but the won ton was nothing but the wrapper. I asked about the won ton and was told due to the high cost of gas, they were no longer putting a filling in the wrappers. They only gave a small bowl of fried strips of won ton and a saucer with a dab of mustard and about a tablespoon of duck sauce. If I have to pay high gas prices to drive in order to eat out, I like to at least have my food complete instead of things missing. Prices on the food has gone up so maybe they need to save money elsewhere instead on the food which is why people eat out.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
