Checked this place out because of a recommendation from Logan Foodies. Wow--we are not disappointed! We ordered the family meal, with a delicious assortment of grilled veggies, meat and seafood. It was served in a hot lava rock bowl with big hunks of melting cheese. The homemade tortillas are fresh and tasty. Parking is kind of crazy because of the location. There is parking on the side of the building, but very limited. Despite that, we will be back for the food! I want to try more of their food.

There are few places where you can find good, authentic tacos. Complete with salsa and a dash of lime, King Taco is the place to be. I got the carne asada taco and the pork quesadilla, both were cooked to perfection and my taste buds had a fiesta as soon as my taco touched my lips. The horchata wasn't the best I've had, sadly that's a hard staple to come by; however, their tres leches is pretty delicious. It takes a while to get our food, but still worth the wait. The atmosphere is awesome and the employees are stellar as well. All in all, a great experience. TIPS & TRICKS: * DEFINITELY go on a Thursday, when the tacos are only $0.75, they are usually $1.50 and honestly it's hard paying that much for such a small taco. I love going on Thursdays when I can get 7 for $5! * Parking is tight, there is parking next door and you can walk along the sidewalk. Like I said, if you do park alongside the building, just make sure not to back in to anything when you leave. Seriously though, tighten your buns and practice your skill because you don't get much to work with.

It's okay I guess.... I don't understand how they have 4-stars... It's really oily and the meat doesn't look or taste that great.

The folks who run King Taco formerly ran the carneceria in Rita's Bakery in Logan. I'm pleased to report that the $0.75 taco special on Tuesdays carried over to Taco Thursday. The quality of the food is very good. Everything is seasoned well (but I feel many of the taco meats are undersalted. Not a worry, as there is salt on the table, so this could be a bonus). Corn tortillas appear to be prepared and cooked at the restaurant. The service was good, and the variety was good. I've had their tacos and burritos, and was impressed by both. The tacos are a little on the small side, but the $0.75 price still made it a great deal. I would be a bit bothered by paying $1.25 for them since there are other places in town that offer larger, more filling tacos. The staff is friendly and recognizes repeat customers. There are many different drinks, and also a baked goods section. I haven't tried these. This is certainly a lunch staple every Thursday.

Got a bunch of tacos. Best tacos in the state as far as I'm concerned. The sauce is good, the meat is amazing, and the tortillas are very obviously freshly homemade. I'd gladly pay full price for these tacos, as most places in Utah want to charge $2-3 for a single taco, but on Thursdays, tacos are $.75. They've got about 10 different meats available, and they also have a couple fresh Mexican juices and Horchata.

Carne Asada tostada was delicious. Love the green sauce and queso fresca that they put on top. The best flan I've ever had, very dense and creamy. I also enjoyed the pork tamale; very flavorful. Sign outside says $0.75 tacos on Thursdays. Will definitely be coming back

The five stars is for the street tacos only. I haven't tried anything else. Visited Logan a couple weeks ago. On the way out, had missed lunch and saw their sign about 75 cent street tacos on Thursday. Could it be? Oh Yes! I was spoiled on authentic Mexican cooking for two years on my mission, and this is one of the few places in Utah that gets street tacos right. They were willing to add a side of the crumbly white farmer cheese for a just a few cents more too. Perfect carne asada. Hit all my hot buttons. Oh how I wish we had a place like this where I work or live.

King Taco has become our go-to restaurant for cheap, delicious Mexican food. We probably visit three times per month. My favorite things to order are the burrito banado (smothered burrito) with spicy pork and green sauce, and tostadas of all varieties. Can't beat King Taco prices and quality. AND they're open on Sundays. Go!

King Taco holds up to its reputation of being great Mexican food for cheap. They are known for their authentic street style tacos for a good reason and are my #1 choice for tacos in Logan. I have yet to order anything else; however, I think I'll try the torta next time. It looks deeelisshhhh!! The tacos come fully loaded which is awesome. It would be nice if they doubled up the tortillas as some places do. Also, I wish they had a condiment/salsa bar where you could add the goods yourself. King Taco offers .75 tacos every Thursday Check out my pics if you would like to see the size/style before you order

I've been here twice in the last two days. There are not many places in Logan with tacos this good. Don't be fooled by the sign out front: the tacos are only $0.75 on Thursdays. They are regularly $1.25. I haven't tried much else there so I can't recommend anything else. The service was good as well. I'll probably make a regular lunch trip here on Thursdays from now on.

Very bland food with not much flavor which is not good for mexican food. I always go by how well there rice and beans taste and the rice was clumpy and sticky with no flavor. I got there melon drink and it just tasted like sugar water. And the beans were bland. Maybe I should give them another chance but there are far better places in logan.

I Forgot to add, another exceptional item in the taco was cilantro mixed in with the lettuce. I got a fresh taste of that and thought..Wow!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
