Gaucho Grill Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Preface: I love Brazil. I lived there for two years. I love churrascarias. Prior to this I've never had a bad experience with one. I REALLY wanted to like this place. My wife and I had been saving this place as "treat" for me after studying and taking the October LSAT. The one star rating has very little to do with the food (which was good, but still a couple rungs below Rodizio or Tucanos on the taste ladder), and everything to do with the absolutely atrocious service. We asked for a menu and were told that we wanted the buffet. What? When somebody asks you for a menu, you give them a menu. You don't pretentiously tell them what they want -- especially without letting them know all of their options. After feeling forced to pay for more food than we actually wanted, we decided against ordering any specialty drinks. I guess this triggered the "I don't give a rats *** about this table anymore" mentality in our waitress. We weren't checked up on nearly as much as the tables around us. We noticed that when the family seated next to us asked for menus, they got menus. The waitress didn't tell them what they were getting. It probably had a lot to do with the size of their potential tip even passing on the overpriced buffet. When we finished up it took our waitress around 15 minutes to finally get us the bill...which made me late for work. Conclusion: I REALLY don't take a liking to being treated like a second class citizen because my college student budget doesn't allow me to order specialty drinks, desserts, etc. I particularly don't like being manipulated into paying for more than I can afford accompanied by the aforementioned inferior service. Spend your pretty pennies wisely Loganites. The only restaurant worth paying $20 a plate in this town is Le Nonne. If not there, go buy 2 entrees at Angie's, Bluebird, or El Toro Viejo for the price you'd be paying here... If you absolutely have to have Brazilian, I'd suggest that the drive to SLC to eat at Tucanos or Rodizio is still the best option.

There is finally a great Brazilian restaurant in northern Utah! If you are a meat-lover, the Gaucho Grill is the place to go. My only complaint is with the service side of things where we did not receive our special drinks till near the end of the meal. Nonetheless, the Gaucho Grill is a great, somewhat high-end, restaurant.

Sub par at best. The idea is great but, the atmosphere is very cafeteria. The price is cheap for a Brazilian steak house, but hot wings is not usually a traditional Brazilian meat. I would pass for now.

steak is great, but buffet is meh. good service though and always a fun place to go out to.

We had just an okay experience at Gaucho Grill last night. After waiting in the lobby for a few minutes (we overheard another couple there to visit her mention that it was the hostess' last night), we received a warm welcome from our server, Alex. She was a gem and told us how their rodizio menu works and after taking our drink orders, left us to explore the buffet at our leisure. Not much there. Some pretty good fried bananas and a strangely delectable stroganoff were the standouts, but there was also a salad bar and other hot offerings like bean stew and rice. The meat was unexciting. Low quality ham loaf, dry pork, and a few different kinds of chicken. The best meat was the top sirloin, which was actually delicious. Everything else was just varying shades of mediocre. We ordered two specialty drinks -- I got strawberry limeade and my friend got mango limeade. I enjoyed my drink but he was a little underwhelmed by his. On the upside, our dinner was super cheap. We used a coupon and the total, before tip, was $24. This is way cheaper than rodizio restaurants down south. However, I would have been willing to pay a little more for a meal of higher quality.

This was my first experience with a Brazilian grill and I had no idea of what I was to be expecting. The meat was really good and I enjoyed the ham, sausage, and top sirloin. My hubby loved the orange chicken and the chicken hearts. The salad bar was pretty nice and my only complaint with it is that the pasta salads had pasta that had not been fully cooked that night. Other than that I enjoyed my time there!

Brazilian bbq is amazing, and Gaucho Grill has a lot of potential to be amazing as well if the service was better. Very disappointing when there is only one guy doing the full Rodizio on a busy evening and it takes about 20 or 30 minutes for the next skewer to come around. I was pretty full from the sides buffet, granted it had not been emptied out by other patrons sick of waiting for the next skewer to make its rounds. 40.00 for a meager buffet and a few occasional cuts of meat. I really want this place to live up to its potential!

The food was gross. The meat was all very dry and tasteless... We were expecting something like Rodizio, but NOPE, not even close! It was quite expensive, as well. We were pretty upset that we paid over $50 for a crappy meal. Also, I didnt like the band playing very much... it was very loud and I had a hard time talking to my husband during dinner.

Wow. My first 5 star review. I never thought I would see the day but the other day, I found the restaurant that deserved such a review. I went there the other day and was amazed. There was a buffet of unbelievable amazingness. And to top it off there is endless Brazilian meat. I had never tasted such deliciositisity. I would eat there for the rest of my life if I could.

First of all I just have to say that after reading some of the previous reviews I feel sorry for Gaucho Grill for trying to establish they're selves in such a close minded community that obviously isn't ready for something with a little culture. I live in Los Angeles, and just went to a local Brazilian steak house called Gauchos village, and spent $130.00!!! The whole time we were there we were wishing that we were at Gauchos Grill in Logan Utah. Ya it's not as "fancy" of a place, but the level of service, friendliness, and even the food was superior. Me, and my wife got married in Logan, and used Gauchos for our food. They did an amazing job, and even a year later I'm wishing I had access to this little jewel. Give these guys a shot with an open mind Logan Utah!!!!!

We went and I tried to order a beer... Nobody on shift was allowed to serve the beer. So we waited for the meat.... and waited ....and waited .....and waited before we finally decided that we would just leave. Not a good experience. Salad Bar "buffet" was seriously lacking and the food had been sitting for a while.

This was my second time coming to this restaurant. I came a year ago visiting my mom and their food was surprisingly good, we got tons of meat as they came around so often and the buffet was plentiful and fully stocked. This time around we came for dinner, I mean I'm not surprised with how much we paid (14.99) that we didn't get a variety of meats to choose from. They had about 5, about 3 of them were exclusively a cheap pork. There was some steak, one cooked so rare the blood dripped everywhere, so gross!! The buffet lacked food everything was empty maybe because it was 8:40 PM and they close at 9:30? The stroganoff was good, beans and rice were plentiful. Still a mediocre variety most of the salad bar coming from straight can varieties. The staff was nice, probably too nice expecting a good tip as they star the last part of the receipt mentioning they all share the tip given. Overall from a year difference the quality has dropped significantly. I've been to other Brazilian steakhouses and this has been the saddest by far. Hopefully they change that as seeing there are so many restaurants that have opened up and closed since I've been visiting Logan.

We are at the grill right now, and have been waiting for 45 minutes. Nobody has come to seat us. There is a group of 2 in front of us, and a group of 6 in front of them. And nobody has even seen any employees since getting here. The thermostat is set to 80.5F. And their food is overpriced. Edit- once we finally got back, the service was great and the food was excellent. Just be sure you've got a couple hours to spend if you go here and it's pretty good.

What is a vegetarian doing in a Brazilian steakhouse you ask? Being a nice wifey to my omnivore hubby, of course! Also, I heard they had a few things that I would like, and a salad bar to try. First, I should say that my hubby really loved the food.. (but it totally grossed me out, haha!). I really liked the gluten free cheese bread and the grilled pineapples! If I had to go again, I would only get those two things. All in all.. good for gluten free folks, BAD for vegetarians!

We love Guacho Grill and their friendly staff. Parmesan Beef is by far the best. Ask for their "pao de queso" as it's not on the menu 11/22/14 update: Well, sad to say we probably won't be visiting Guacho Grill that much anymore. While the food is still good the service had taken a tremendous step backwards with the departure of Luis. We went on a Saturday night and it appears that they only had one "waitress" for our entire half of the building. Furthermore the meat service was extremely slow. While the meat was pretty good (hence the 2 stars) it was about 8-10 minutes between servings which in my opinion is just to long.

Not bad. I would definitely need a special offer before I would come back. Brazilian style restaurants are generally not my cup of tea

I love Gaucho Grill. My friends and I used to go once a week for their full Rodizio lunch buffet but they've stopped doing it. Now the full buffet is only available for dinner, which costs quite a bit more than lunch does. For lunch you can do unlimited salad bar [rolls eyes and lets out a sarcastic cheer] and get four choices of meat or grilled pineapple. It still tastes great but I don't leave satisfied. This is America. I want to eat until I can't stand on my own free will and need an employee to roll me out to my vehicle after my meal. There's other lunch buffets in Logan that cost the same and allow me to eat until I'm sweating and have blurred vision, so I'll stick to those. If you've never been to Gaucho try a dinner there. You won't be disappointed. They have a great selection of meat and keep it coming pretty regularly. Still one of my favorite places in Logan, I just can't do lunch there anymore.

This place used to b better than Tucanos in SLC, smaller variety but good quality. However, over the past year it has steadily declined in quality. The meat is always dry and overlooked. They don't come around with the meat choices nearly often enough anymore. Not worth the cost. Used to be one if my favorites and now you couldn't pay me to go there.

My husband just said, "This was a bad first experience." I corrected him and said, "No, this is a bad last experience!" It's not that the food was bad. It was just hard to get it! More than 5-7 minutes between small portions of meat is way too long!

Let me just by saying that I am Brazilian so I'm pretty critical about my food... That being said I've been to over 5 different Brazilian restaurants in Utah and none of them came close to how terrible this place was. Where do I start... No pão de queijo, the feijoada was terrible, the salad bar was straight out of an American restaurant. Then came the standard churrascaria protocol of the green (bring me meat) and red (stop) which none of the workers paid any attention to. Sorry to give a bad rating but if you're looking for authentic Brazilian food... Do not go here.

The quality drops every time I go. It's still pretty good especially for the price. You can get better food elsewhere but the amount of food makes up for the lack in quality.

Stellar service, terrible food. Service: From the moment we walked in all staff were happy and enthusiastic. Servers were very attentive. Meat guys were funny and friendly. Check out was fast. Stellar service; among the best in the Valley. Food: Lowest quality of meat possible. "Parmigian Beef" was a lower cut of meat with flavoring. "Ham" was pressed ham cut into chunks. "Sausage" was kielbasa - a fattier and cheaper form of sausage. In all fairness, you get what you pay for: $14.99 for all you can eat meat, it's not going to be fresh lamb. Just understand you did not stumble on the deal of the century. Salad Bar: Standard. Nothing special. Super clean. Foods were at the right temperature. Everything was kept in stock.

Came back in and really noticed the quality of the food drop. Then had a bad experience trying to use a coupon my son had. Told the waitress to forget about it. Won't be back.

Great food at a great price. If you like Rodizio, Fogo de Chao or Texas de Brazil for their Brazillian cured and cooked meats, you'll love Gaucho Grill. If you love those places for their ambiance, this place falls a bit short. But for the price, this place is well worth a stop in. EAT IT: All of the meats brought to your table by the Gauchos on big skewers and sliced right onto your plate. The sides buffet isn't so impressive, like those other places I mentioned, but if all you need is some salad and a roll, this place will suit you fine. DON'T DRINK IT: The Malbec. We got a bottle. If it hadn't been so inexpensive, we probably would have sent it back. We should have known better. The cute little Mormon girl who was our server was incredibly confused about us ordering alcohol in the first place. We will most definitely be back when in town. Get the Restaurant.com deal for a $50 gift certificate. For our group of 5 people, the bill was only $12 per person. Nice!

I went to this restaurant today. It was ok in the beginning. But after we got our water, the waitress never come back to us to help us refill water. Even our drinks are late for long time. And even we asked them, they do not come until serving some other customers. The service is very disappointed. We have a coupon to use, and we showed them in the beginning. From what I understood and what was written on the coupon, it should include the drink. But finally they said that it means we have to buy drinks to be able to use that coupon. I really feel that they over charged in this case. And we come in as a party of 6. They automatically charged us gratuity. Most restaurant charged it only for a party of 8. They said that it was on the manus. But we never got a chance to see that at all because it is a all you can eat. We complained but their manager seems like not interested in us at all. The service and attitude are both letting me down. It sounds like they do not need our business at all. It sounds like they are meaning "Do not come anymore". I think this is why they don't even give us any service, because it will be added into. To conclude, my friends and I have a very bad night. I have never been in a restaurant and being treated like this.

After experiencing a dip in service over a year ago (you can see my last review), we were warmly contacted by the concerned owners, who wanted to learn more about the issue we experienced. Apparently the member of the management who was responsible for our bad experience was long gone for just that reason, and they had since made changes to make sure similar experiences wouldn't happen again for us or any other customers. After corresponding a while, the owner invited us back to see the changes for ourselves. They were right! Things have changed, for the better. The chef won three Spice on Ice awards this year, which is unprecedented for the competition, and the quality shines once again. We dined here for my birthday dinner and enjoyed a coupon special though a local coupon service. We got two specialty drinks--a blue curacao limeade and a guava limeade, both very delicious. The meats that came around were flavorful, perfectly cooked, and tender. We enjoyed a few items from the salad bar but knew from experience to make sure to save room for the food coming around on skewers. You can't pass up their fried bananas, rice balls, or fresh fruit, though! The glazed pineapple is better than ever and still my favorite, though the garlic parmesan beef comes in a close second. The tri-tip and top sirloin were superb, and the beef tenderloin out of this world. The glazed chicken was so tender it fell apart when I put my knife on it. Perfection! Bacon-wrapped beef was amazing, and so was the sausage. I didn't have a stab at the chicken hearts this time, but I have before. :) We ordered a flan and a prestigio (special chocolate coconut cake) for dessert, and they were mind-blowing. The flan was perfectly smooth and caramelized, with great flavor but not excessively rich. The prestigio was wonderful as well. So, I'm back to loving this place and looking forward to going back. Thanks to the owners for reaching out so kindly and inviting us back. I don't think they knew it was us while we were there and we had a great experience to help us forget the last one. Keep up the great work, guys!

First, there is a liquor license, and a short wine list. We found the Cabernet Sauvignon just fine--although we'd packed an aerator just in case. The default option is the grilled meats and buffet, which we got (a coupon from ValuPak meant it was two-fer). Later, we learned that the shrimp or steak is a different item. The salad bar was decent. Among the hot entries--some strange ones like stroganoff--but, the collards were a fine side for the various grilled meats. BTW, the meats could be rare so not overcooked at all. The ambiance leaves something to be desired--more diner than restaurant. Excellent service.

THE WORST CUSTOMER & FOOD SERVICE EVER!!!!! My hubby didnt enjoy the food because it was overpriced, not cooked well (blood was dripping, yuck!), and the waitress gave him the receipt and said that she charged her part of the tip already and total it up with the food price. Wow, I've never heard of a restaurant that does that! Must be a small town to have the most weak restaurant chains with poor service, tsk, tsk, tsk. SMH. So my hubby asked to speak with the owner of the restaurant and the manager said to come tomorrow. So my hubby went back to the restaurant to talk to the owner. My hubby asked to see the restaurant's policy. The manager was there and when my hubby said he wants to talk to the owner, the guy said, "Oh, I dont know his number." He tried to avoid eye contacting and talking with my hubby. Felt like my hubby was being treated like crap because basically the guy looked at my hubby like he fits the "minority" type and should be ignored and not get good service. SMH. And this guy is white and we're Polynesian. That says a lot bout the service my hubby got from him. SMH. And he's giving my hubby the run around and not wanting to help and just avoid the whole situation and say,"I cannot help you. Leave or I'll call the cops." Whoa there partner! All my hubby said was "I want to talk to the owner." Sheesh, peeps in Logan are freakin' sensitive or what?! My goodness. So of course, due to that rude guy's response, my hubby basically gave him a few words. He deserved it because my hubby sure as hell didnt deserve being disrespected. Awful people working there who knows nothing about good customer service. Even the food tastes so damn blan and BORING! SMH. This restaurant is very cheesy and is NOTHING compared to the restaurants (Brazilian restaurants to be exact) here in Southern California. Gaucho's Village is much better with great entertainment! Gaucho Grill, please close down your good-for-nothing, overpriced blan food, worse customer service ever, restaurant because you guys are TERRIBLE! YUCK!

I was ready to eat meat. This restaurant was adjacent to my hotel. I have had some good Brazilian Barbecues. So I went for it. The good signs were that people running the restaurant and some of the diners actually spoke Portuguese. Unfortunately, the Gaucho Grill didn't quite live up to expectations. Some of the beef was dry and over-cooked. The teriyaki beef and orange chicken belonged in a Chinese restaurant, not a Brazilian one. And I think they gave me a touch of something that kept me "on the trot" for the next 24 hours. Worth a try, but don't get your hopes up.

I really liked this place. It is no Rodizio Grill, but it was quite good. We go with a group of couples to Logan using the Cache Valley Getaway Package and they are a participating restaurant. The salad bar was a little bit small, but I was really there for the meat. The staff was fantastic as our group was a little big. The meat was a little slow to come around at first but got better through the meal. Because our group does this Getaway every year, I will certainly be back next year!

We now have a churrascaria in Logan! And it is absolutely nothing short of amazing! So, the last time I went to a churrascaria, it was in Manhattan. It cost $50. Everybody inside the restaurant was part of the "gliterrati." I think I saw Robert De Niro hanging out in the corner of the restaurant with his posse. How does the Gaucho Grill compare? Just as good. In fact, better. They bring 16 different meats to your table. Every one of the meats on each spit is seasoned and cooked to perfection. And, thank goodness, Robert De Niro isn't stinking up the joint. And... wait for it... it's only $20!!! (I would pay an extra $30 just to not have to sit near Robert De Niro.) The key is to pace yourself. Don't load up at the buffet. Just take a tiny bit of the key items that you enjoy, and otherwise, leave it all alone. And then just sit back and wait for the servers to bring around the 16 different meats! Now, as soon as they bring the top sirloin or the tenderloin, I know you're going to want to ask for 1.5 pounds each. But don't. Just take a tiny slice of each. And do the same for the 15 other items. By the time you know it, you will have been there for 3 hours, and sampled all the different items 6 different times. And, by the way, did I mention that it's only $20??? When you go to a steak place, a 16 ounce rib eye is going to cost you $30. And you find yourself chewing on that hunk of meat all night long. And pretty soon, you're sick of it! At Gaucho Grill, you've got 16 different items to choose from. The variety keeps it fresh and fun and keeps you wanting more.

I wasn't expecting a 4 star buffet when I went here, maybe that is why I had such a great experience. We took my grandparents who had never heard of this concept and everyone had a great time. The food was definitely worth the price, not stellar but the middle buffet was fun, with things like quail eggs and star fruit. The staff was very helpful and seemed to have a great time joking with my grandparents while preparing the food, they managed what became a very busy little spot quickly and certainly made my parents and I's gamble of trying something new with the grandparents pay off. I definitely would say give it a try, good food and great atmosphere.

Crappy decorations, the meat guys took about 10 minutes to show up, they wait for you to get a trip to the salad bar in, THEN they come. Then you wonder where they are cause they are rarely at your table. The meat tasted good, but i dont like the tiny peices they give you, and you have to keep asking for more every time.. it was decent, I wont go back.

Good food at a decent price. I found the fare to be prepared quite well. The meat was warm and tender; the salad bar and buffet were well-stocked and fresh. It's probably a good thing I don't live in Logan, but if I visit the area again, I'll probably revisit Gaucho Grill.
